Super disappointing hotel!

Done with Wyndham for good. Do yourself a favor and choose any place but this one.

Very satisfied during our stay, the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The whole hotel are very clean and secured. Very good place to stay, very close to everywhere

They mentioned that breakfast was included but there was no breakfast neither days that I stayed which were from Friday to Sunday

Clean main areas, pool was nice, and hot tub was nice but had a lot of yellow film on top. Room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Very outdated. Toilet was not working properly, Front Desk was not helpful and not friendly. Not sure if it’s from being so old or not, but hard to say how clean the room actually was. Tried to get assistance from house keeper to help from getting locked out and she said she wasn’t allowed to help that specific room. Didn’t seem like staff wanted to help their customers.

Hawthorn was a great place to stay and the restaurants were not too far. I can say for an extended stay the place sits high on my list. The furniture is a little worn but the space of the entire place was awesome! The arcade room, pool and gym were bonuses. #crowsandcrowns👑

Also the staff was not the best they wouldn’t clean our room or give us new towels even tho it was the 3rd day of our stay. They said it was our fault because we left the “staying in today” sign on our door. I told him we did Not leave that sign and then he said they in fact DID try to get in our room but it was locked? That made no sense we were at Disney all day and no one stayed. We were able to get back in? They literally just didn’t do their job but tried to blame us. We literally just wanted towels.

The sofa bed in our room was broken and even the remote control didn’t work properly, which made the stay even more frustrating. Breakfast was also very disappointing. It consisted of only a juice box and a muffin each morning, which is far below what you would expect for the price. The hotel is not cheap, and for the same cost you can easily find other hotels that offer updated rooms and a much better breakfast. Overall, the experience did not match the price, and I would recommend looking at other nearby options before booking here.

No amenities, no vending, nothing. I asked for water at the front desk and they said there was none. Supposed to get kitchenette, got microwave and mini fridge only. Halfway smelled. No chairs or table in the room. No continental breakfast area or sign to advise how to get the offered breakfast so went to the front desk and was handed a bag with a dole jello w/fruit cup, dried up cinnamon muffin, and a 5oz juice box! Shuttles are not consistent and go everywhere not just to Disney. Bed was so old and uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep for 3 days! The staff were absolutely no help under any circumstances and couldn’t even tell us which elevator to take to our room. We had an electric wheelchair delivered and the staff didn’t know it was ours or even that it was there and searched forever to find the key and only found it after I suggested she open some of the drawers and look! We picked this hotel as it was bundled with Next Car which was an absolute nightmare. Expedia will not let me review Next Car. They should be out of business. Save yourself from this rent a car nightmare at all costs!!! Have used Expedia before without issues so very surprised they would do business with these terrible companies. Will be very careful if I use them again. Perhaps not worth the aggravation!!! Booker beware!!!

The room was ok. The bed mattress was horrible! It was uneven and lumpy. Not comfortable at all. The guests in the room next to ours were too loud and nothing was done about it. There was no breakfast at all, even though we were told there would be.

The beds should have been replaced years ago. They have no support and dip in the center. Sofa and chairs had multiple stains like they found them in the trash! Bathroom was less than standard

It may be they were remodeling but no hot breakfast was serve.

She gave me a spoon. There is no table in the room, (I was looking for a small one) so if you wanted to eat something you had to hold your food on your lap on the only chair in the room or sitting on your bed. So if you only need a place to sleep and do everything outside, then this hotel is OK. But other than that, look for something else

Very worn out beds, no housekeeping unless demanded, trash had to be taken out by us, mold in bathroom, toliet clogged three different times within a week, very low to the ground toliet, parked in handicap on side of building and door was locked all hours of the day. Very upsetting. Grab n go breakfast was the same every day orange juice, fruit cups & cold bread. Bagels or cinnamon rolls. Not worth it.

Room was not like the pictures advertised! Paid for a king bed and got two queens and one bed was so old it was like sleeping on a concrete slab with a dip in it. Kept falling in the middle of bed no matter what side I was on. It was very noisy at night. Very very outdated rooms. T.V. Was a 25 inch very tiny!

The room had a bad smell right when we walked in we were wondering what it was my son went to turn on the ac and his socks got soaked the carpet was all wet that’s were the smell was coming from I went down to tell them they said they would send someone in the morning no one came I asked about it again they said tomorrow no one came not till the 3rd day of our 5 days staying there they finally brought something in that really didn’t work it filled up fast with water and we had to dump it out each time the smell was still bad we couldn’t even enjoy the living room we were in the bedroom The whole time with the door closed and it still smell bad in the bedroom but not as bad as the living room the front desk people were friendly we didn’t even get to use the kitchen because it smelled too bad in there from the living room we would just eat out the parking was good found a spot each time

Very dirty hotel murder seen type of carpets

We went at the end of August and there was construction in the lobby.free breakfast was horrible rooms were dirty outdated furniture was bad center table cracked sofas were decades old you can feel the springs in the sofa hallway smelled bad.i had stayed in this establishment years ago when it was operated by different management and let me tell you this the joy and pleasure me and the family had was Magnificent outstanding free breakfast was like you are in some 5 star restaurant rooms were clean furniture was new (still the same furniture never replaced) I wrote a very good review on Google and last time I checked it was the top review. And now it's nowhere near what we experienced the first time save your money go somewhere else even best Western would be better than this.

The room 523 is awful, old ran down and the carpet is disgusting. The furniture has burn marks and hard to open drawers. It is so dark even with the drapes open. The room needs a facelift badly. This is my second stay here and my room in Jan was a better and so was the breakfast. What happened? I understand the lobby is getting some work done but that is no excuse for poor leadership and horrendous breakfast experience. The outdoor area is very nice.

It really was just SoSo. They are undergoing serious renovations. With that, it is understandable why it wasn't as clean as it could be. We were put in one of the older rooms and it was definitely in need of a face lift. Dark and dingy. The staff could have been a bit more friendly. During our 3 day stay we had just 2 staff members smile and acknowledge us. Both were at the lobby check-in desk. Thank you...for that! It goes along way. Breakfast was ok except for the powdered eggs which were rubbery and just plain gross. The outside grounds were well kept and inviting. The location is super being close to the parks and plenty of dining options nearby. They offer free parking and shuttles to the parks which is a nice perk. This place has potential if they would just pay a little more attention to detail.

This hotel is undergoing major transformation and renovations had I known that before booking my hotel reservations I would have NEVER stayed there it was so messy, noisy it was a freaking disaster - they should have noted that somewhere on website to make customers aware - discounts should be applied!

Quiet and clean. Definitely has dated since we visited last. Very disappointed with their free breakfast. It was very basic and poor options and they guard it like it’s a buffet in Vegas. When booking there were better options but since we had been here before and enjoyed it and the food options we tried again. It’s definitely ok for the value.

Good location, showers is very dated and uncomfortable, but overall good for the money There is much of a breakfast , bagel , egg,bacon, cereal and apple . Stuff is not very friendly and seems to prefer talk among themselves.

I got so much say ,thumbs up for theme park transportation, free parking, but i would not stay here again. I had good experience previously by satying twice at grand villa resort half a block away, but i regret staying here.

We loved staying here! It was any second time and Thai time was even better! Felipe and Jennifer were outstanding and provided excellent customer service! The breakfast staff was also very kind and helpful! My whole family and I came down with a nasty cold and were under the weather, I arrived right as they were about to close , but they allowed me to come in and grab food for my family! Can’t wait to come back!

The room was spacious enough, the bed was extremely comfortable! Christian on the desk was impeccable and always very helpful. The free shuttle bus to Disney, Universal and Seaworld was very convenient as well. Breakfast was okay, the variety could do with improvement, as you get a little bored if you stay longer than a week. The air-con unit was very loud and started up and shut down with a bang every time which was very loud. As we were put in a room that could adjoin to another, even though the door was locked at all times, you could still hear every single conversation said next door. We unfortunately had 3 loud women waking up at 5:30am every day which then proceeded to wake us up early as well. Reception were good at telling them to quieten down, but then the following day they had short term memory loss!!

Marie was great . However we got the 20 minutes before pool closed we was leaving at 9:55 ask the guy if we was holding him up he said yes . Then pool closed at 10pm but hot tub closed at 11pm staff tried to make us leave at 10 but we was in hot tub then stood around waiting and even came up to us the same guy from night before said it’s 10:55 . Then when check out we had to make 3 trips on the 2nd trip coming back up someone had when in our room open the curtains , took out trash in bedroom and outside door yet housekeeper n maintenance said they didn’t go in yet our curtains was open with our stuff at door they should of never went in room with our stuff in it when they haven’t been our room in 6 days .. hallways smelled on 3rd floor like wet carpets . And as we was leaving the staff decided to paint a bench on the 3rd floor hallways for us to smell it as we was going back n fourth

Our room smelled like mold, the shower was dirty with hair and visible mold, and some electronics didn’t work. Staff offered a room change, but I’m six months pregnant and too exhausted to move after unpacking. Later, they threatened to charge us for the second room unless we returned the key—refusing to assist when I explained my situation. Breakfast was terrible: frozen bagels, sour juice, and yogurt in a communal bowl. Ironically, the same staff member who said she couldn’t leave the desk later left it to grab herself breakfast. Only positive: the shuttle driver was kind and helpful. Otherwise, I would not recommend this hotel.

We had an early check out at 4am and noticed no security or front desk personnel available. Do not recommend staying here.

The location is spot on if you want to visit Disney, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, or Epic Universe!!! It looks as though the hotel may be doing some sort of ratification. The staff was super friendly. It felt like there were permanent residence that lived in the Hotel. Some of the rooms seemed different from ours?? We rented two rooms. Both rooms the carpets were stained and the kitchen dishes did not feel so clean. The couch and the chairs were very uncomfortable and well used almost to the point of not being able to sit on them. The kitchen chairs were made of metal extremely heavy and hard to maneuver. The tables had water markings on them. They only provide you with dishwasher powder. Please make sure to bring your own dish soap if you want to clean dishes or wipe off counters. The beds were clean, soft and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and the towels were comfortable. The pool area was fantastic! It was clean there were a lot of things for the children to do and it was a great place to relax. I found breakfast to be not as impressive as most hotels that supply breakfast. It would have been nice to have a pancake maker or a waffle maker there. It would have been nice to have had more options as well for breakfast. Maybe I’m just spoiled! I was impressed that they had glass plates and silverware for breakfast!! Overall, it was a good place to stay for the Value.

Good location overall. Hotel is a little old but is maintained. Don’t like that rooms have carpets and water pressure was really bad, but good overall. Buffet breakfast is weak and not good.

A basic, clean and quiet hotel with clean pool and hot tub. Not much else on site, pretty good and basic free breakfast.Appreciated the free shuttle to and from Universal but only one pick up and drop off time impacted our ability for flexibility in plans.

Bed was very comfortable. Carpet very soiled/stained. Furniture old, scratched and stained. Hot tub small and jets not working. Breakfast fairly good for the most part.

The colombian lady in the front desk was sooo nice and helpful that made our stay so comfortable and good. The bathroom and lighting could use update… they should put regular soap and shampoo like other hotels because they give u q tiny bar soap and little shampoos though. But everything else was good

I like the spacious of the rooms. The layout of the room, and it was for the most part clean. However, when entering the room there was an old, musty odor, like the room had been shuttered for a long period of time. It may be from a very stained carpet in the area of the kitchen table or the old dark brown couch in the living room. Even after I sprayed air freshener, it still had an unpleasant smell.

Hotel was okay. Pool was clean and heated. Nice outdoor lounge area and basketball hoop. Indoor main areas were mediocre, but clean. Rooms are in serious need of an update. Nasty carpet, drywall cracking, odd smell, uncomfortable furniture. Overall it was fine. You get what you paid for.

We were on a family trip/reunion and stayed at this hotel. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The hotel is 15 minutes from the Disney parks. The breakfast was OK, nice that we had the free option. It was too cold to swim when we were there. It was an economical choice for us.

The price was great along with the location. The hotel its self needs a lot of reno. The carpet had a bunch of stains, bathroom looked a little iffy, toilet barely flushed, room smelled like vape that didn’t go away. Outside was nicely kept, the pool was good and it was nice to have a hot tub on the chilly nights. The basketball hoop was fun but the backboard had been replaced with a cheap replacement. Back inside most of the workers were friendly but I’ve never had a hotel tell me I couldn’t have a bandaid and they couldn’t give out pool towels but was pointed to where they should be. I wouldn’t stay there again, normally Wyndham isn’t bad but this one was. It’s a decent place to sleep that’s about all.

It was okay for one night but wouldn’t stay again. Other guests really noisy after 1.30am. Rooms were clean and staff were nice. Breakfast was okay but limited.

The room is very basic for those who just want to sleep. We chose it because we are going with children and already have a kitchen, but the kitchen lacks utensils and pans for the number of people it accommodates. Furthermore, cleaning only happened twice, in a 14-day stay (they showed up to clean the third time on our last day) and even those two times the cleaning was very superficial. Not even the trash was taken out. In any case, you can spend your days there.

There was nothing excellent or mediocore about than this hotel. I will never stay here again. The room was dirty. I dont know when was the last time it was even cleaned. The hallway and room smelled like weed the matress to the pull out couch had a big black spot who knows what that was. If you sat on the couch you would fall in and the couch was also filthy and had an odor. The carpet had several big stains on them. On the bathroom door looks like something spilled and was never cleaned up. The shower walls were stained and looked dirty. I have picutres to all of this. When I checked out early they never even checked me out they said the manager had to check me out and now attempting to get a refund for the days i didnt use has been an issue. The manager doesnt even acknowledge any of the issues I had which led me to check out early. I complained and was told there werent any rooms available at the time and i wasnt going to spend another night in the dirty hotel with a 1yr old and 2 yr old that don't understand dirty and not too touch anything. I did what was beat for my family and I specially the kids. The breakfast was subpar limited plates for guests and breakfast was not what I thought it would be. I would love to upload all the pics I have of this hotel to show how dirty and nasty the room was.

It’s was an ok hotel. I needed a hotel for the night. This hotel did its job. The hotel lobby was clean and check in/out was easy. Staff was cordial and friendly. The actual hotel room was ok. The ac unit was in the room behind a closed door. That was somewhat odd. The bed was clean but was a spring bed so not the most comfiest of the beds.

a different protein other than sausage links or patties. Also bagels as well. Only had white bread slices to toast. The Belgium waffles were hard and cold no taste.

The pull out sofa was broken and unusable. One person in our party had to sleep on the floor. The person at the front desk was no help. The pullout was fixed on the second day. Workers were painting but there was exposed black mold that they had fans blowing on. This area was on the main floor as you came off the elevator. The exterior was in good shape but the interior was dated and worn.

The night front desk personnel was so nice. Very quick to get us checked in. The hotel itself needs a little renovation. But it was very clean and tidy. The only thing our room didn’t have was a remote for the tv. we’d stay here again.

This was the perfect property for our Disney trip. It was easy to get around. The staff was nice. The hotel was so clean. And the rooms were big.

All in all my stay was pleasant, even though the threat of the hurricane was upon us.

The property was extremely dated/worn, not at all like the pictures. When we got there, there was an overwhelming musty/moldy smell. They offered for us to switch rooms, but the other room smelled as bad.

I love the size of tge room, i had a full kitchen and a seperate room with the beds.

We have stayed here many times because we love the location to Disney Springs. The hotel does seem a little dated now but it's not to bad. They won't let you check in early anymore either and the breakfast area was moved due to renovations being done, which made the breakfast a bit cold and not too fresh.

Breakfast was not ready 2 out of 3 of the days. The frist day we did not have a breakfat becaude we had to catch the shuttle. Which on there board it said 3 time for pickup. We were at the pickup stop 45 minute before the pick up time and he never should. The hotel was disrespectful and did not care that it did not show. Should not promote it if you have no control, or warn us. I dont think i would ever stay there again, nor will i promote to my photographers.

Our stay was excellent. Room needs a little upgrade, but it was clean and comfortable. Hotel conveniently located close to Disney Springs and in a very nice area. Pool area beautiful. Staff was friendly. We would certainly stay at this hotel again next time we travel to Orlando.

The hotel was not that busy and they really could’ve put me in a nicer wing of the hotel away from the construction.

There is a kitchen which was convenient. My vanity light didn’t work at times. You had to play with the light switch so it goes on. The toilet ran all day and night. That was irritating. Overall, it was good. Quiet and Relaxing.
