The facilities and staff are good. They should inform that they charge a $50 fee for pets, as it is not mentioned on the hotel's website. There is no gym and additionally the lobby area was without air conditioning because they had a malfunction.

This is a great hotel that’s centrally located to everything! It’s a good value, clean property and overall we just slept in it and spent the whole day out. Great for what we needed it for!

Almost everything was good. We partly booked this hotel because of the shuttle to the parks, but it turns out there is only one shuttle in the morning at a specific time and if you miss it you are out of luck. Same in the afternoon and it was not even at the park closing time.

They only have 1 time shuttle to the parks which is 8:30 and the return shuttle gets back at 5:30pm. They don’t have other shuttle times to and from the parks.

The stay was great, very convenient location - within a short drive of just about everything someone would visit for. only complaints are that the sprinklers in the parking lot spray the cars at night, and by the water runoff in the mornings, looks like they are running most of the night. I feel that a little more attention could be paid to the maintenance side of things in the rooms, in my room there was missing caulking on the baseboard near the bathroom door, the A/C unit looked as though someone was working on it recently, the faceplate was lifted a bit and there were some screws on the ground beneath it.

They have tea or coffe 24 hours self-service, the staff were friendly. I feel safe

The only downside was the hotel’s policy regarding package deliveries. The front desk does not accept packages on behalf of guests and will turn them away. Unfortunately, I did not see this policy disclosed on the website when making the reservation. If you plan to have any items delivered during your stay, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm their package policy and avoid any inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were incredible. The proximity to the Universal Studios parks was awesome. Loved the free parking. I also loved the free breakfast and coffee/tea. The pool was lovely but definitely needed to be cleaned more regularly. There were too many floating bugs in the water to fully enjoy it. Otherwise, I had a great experience.

We loved how close it was to universal (down the road) and offered a free shuttle. And just a few exits from Sea World. We were in the room just to shower and sleep during our trip. Breakfast was offered 6a-10a and was good for us. They had variety of muffins and bagels with Nutella, butter, regular cream cheese and strawberry cream cheese. There were boiled eggs every day, oatmeal packs, vanilla yogurt machine with toppings to put on like cranberry, coconut, almonds; apple and orange juice, different cereals and milk. They had coffee and hot tea available 24/7. The pool looked nice but we didn’t get a chance to use with our theme park schedule. Rooms were nice, beds comfy- just didn’t care for the comforter; very thin and scratchy so we pulled that off every night. Mattress, pillows and sheets were fine. Room did get very cold which was nice. Variety of TV channels. Liked that they had body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles hanging up for use. Lots of decent fast food and sit down restaurants and shops nearby as well.

Everything was wonderful

I completely understand policies, but hospitality is also about how those policies are communicated. A little flexibility, warmth, or even offering alternatives would have made a big difference, especially during a 5-day stay as a returning guest. The interaction felt very transactional rather than welcoming, which honestly left a disappointing first impression.

I'm glad I ended up staying there. My experience was extremely positive! Would I say this is a 5 star hotel? No, however the rooms were extremely clean, bug free, and the property was clean. Plus, with it just being me and my 6 year old.. we felt extremely safe! I've stayed in higher rated hotels that weren't as clean as this was to be extremely honest. Not only is the inside well kept but so is the outside. Almost every morning there was a maintence guy outside and doing things to the property to keep it maintained. We had a small issue when we first got there with our TV not working at all and I contacted the staff and made them aware. One lady from the desk came right up and tried to fix it and since she wasn't able to, they did move our room. Every person we encountered who works there was extremely nice and would go out of their way to ask what fun things we did that day. There were some cons (but isn't there cons with anything?). First con being, the pool was closed the first couple days we were there which was a little disappointing

Our stay was good! I did expect a little bit more for the breakfast but the bagels were delicious and it stayed stocked and cleaned. Service was impeccable and everyone greeted us with a hello and a smile. We will be coming back!

We arrived early, 8am. The staff greeted us very well and super helpful. We had missed the shuttle to Universal Studios but suggested other transportation for us. They held our luggage until we came back later from the theme park to check in. The room was perfect and most importantly, the AC worked great! Would stay here again!

Immediately upon entering, we were hit with a strong cleaning/chemical smell that was very overwhelming. The breakfast was really just bagels and cereal with juice and coffee. It's fine for a 1-2 night stay, but if staying longer or traveling with family, would recommend a different property. This one leaves much to be desired.

Boiled eggs, packet oatmeal, bagels and cereal were the only options available. The beds were definitely comfortable and the pillows deflated. Overall the location is amazing with everything being so close by. I would stay here again, I’ll just bring my own pillows next time ✨

It feels like an old hotel that was renovated merely to look nicer, but this hasn't changed its underlying structure. The room, bathroom, and closet are not adequate for a family of four. When I arrived to check in, I had to wait because there was no one at the front desk. When I got to the room, there wasn't even any water available for me to drink. The breakfast is far too basic, with absolutely no protein options available. It definitely isn't worth the price I paid for the stay.

The location is excellent, and the room is clean—though not very large. The staff is excellent; they speak Spanish as well. The buffet is average, and the parking lot is large, perfect, and secure.

Take your own tea bags if you're British! 😁

I was hesitant to stay here because of the bad reviews, i never leave reviews for anywhere but i wanted to assure you that this place is great to stay if you’re looking for a cheaper place to stay near Universal, you’ll need to take ubers because they only have one shuttle in the morning to Universal, one in the evening. We had a rental so it worked out for us. This place was pretty great to say the only thing negative i have to say was the smell of the rooms was definitely a musty/muggy smell. The breakfast was pretty good, not too many options as far as proteins go but you’ll leave full. A great place to stay for something easy, not anything upbeat like a Universal hotel, but it’s cozy. The customer service was great and friendly ! Checking in and out was smooth - I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The location is a huge highlight, incredibly convenient, and even the people I met during my stay kept mentioning how ideal it was. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. The space feels fresh, clean, and recently remodeled. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. What stood out the most to me was the staff. I stayed for five days, and they were consistently kind, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. The complimentary coffee station and breakfast area were always clean and well maintained, which I really appreciated. Free parking is also a big plus. The only small suggestion I have would be to improve the hallway scent. The lobby smells amazing and very fresh, so there’s a noticeable contrast when entering the hallways. Aside from that, everything was exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely be staying here again this will be my go-to spot in Orlando.💜

Room was great. Very large with nice seating area. Clean and comfortable bed. Big TVs. No coffee maker. Breakfast was less than usual. Mostly cereal and bagels and some hard boiled eggs.

From the minute, we walked through the front door the aroma was amazing! It smelled fresh and clean! The staff were very kind and helpful! The room was very clean, the pillows are my favorite, feather down pillows! AC worked wonderful. The property was well-maintained. The pool is very clean. They had hot fresh coffee, 24 hours a day. The only thing I didn’t engage in was the breakfast. It was plain bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs, and cereal, these are not items that I normally eat for a breakfast. I will stay here again🤗

Check-in was at 3pm and my room wasn't ready until 7pm. I requested a digital key and around 5 o'clock room key wasn't available. I had a message that I needed to stop by front desk for identification verification. I was there earlier around 2:15pm and left my luggage with the front desk.

One reason i booked was expedia review about breakfast which is completely incorrect. They just have basic cold breakfast compared to much better breakfast i had at other places. One mini four count Disney character waffles and the other one was a full size Belgian waffle maker. Both waffles makers were not there. Therefore, I was disappointed with the cold boiled eggs, bread slices, and oatmeal. Also I tried to wash and dry my clothes at the on site laundry room. The washer worked fine but the dryer took my money. I let the front desk know but nothing was done. I even sent an email to the manager but did not hear any response. Nor did I get my eight quarters back.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was clean. Rooms suited just fine for our stay. Fridge is tiny, but worked for us. Pool was closed. Close distance with easy access to everything we wanted during our visit.

Our check in time was 3pm we showed up at 3:15. They told us our room wasn’t clean and they were no other king sized beds available and we had to wait 30 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and the room still wasn’t ready. We explained we needed to shower and get ready for some scheduled plans and they just said sorry can’t help you but you can leave your bags. After another 15 minutes I asked if we would be reimbursed for missing our room time and magically it was ready. The 2nd issue is that our room didn’t have any hot water. We tried showering different times of the day and the whole 3 day stay no hot water. They texted us asking about our stay and we let them know. They said they would fix it but nothing happened. The place was clean and the all day free coffee was good. Breakfast was okay no hot food just bagels and cereal. Unfortunately we wouldn’t come back due to the lack of help/accountability and having no desire to take cold showers while on vacation.

Parking was easy, which is a blessing in Orlando, and it was super simple to walk or grab an Uber to the parks. The rooms were clean, tidy, and exactly what you want after a long day of dodging strollers and roller coasters. Now… the elevator. Let’s just say it had “character.” The kind of character that makes you whisper a quick prayer and promise to be a better person if it gets you to your floor. And yes, they did seem to hold the washcloths hostage—towels replaced daily, washcloths apparently on the endangered species list. But honestly, it became part of the charm. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL! as a well traveled person, please listen to me when i say to stay literally anywhere else in the orlando area but this hotel. where do i begin… to start at the most recent thing to happen, a week after our stay, the hotel charges another person in my family’s card for the entire stay AGAIN after it had already been paid by another person. the only way they would’ve even gotten his card info was when he swiped his card to buy a water at the hotel. they then used that card information to book an entire two night stay on his card after our stay had already been paid in full on another card. also, we killed multiple roaches in the hotel while staying there. flashback to before the stay, i booked this hotel months ago with expedia. i chose the pay at hotel option like i always do and it’s never given me any trouble. the night before our stay, i was randomly charged $200 over what my total was for the whole stay. i hadn’t even left for my trip yet. i called the hotel front desk, and the person who answered was so rude. he told me i had to be in the hotel by 11 pm or he’d cancel our whole reservation. meanwhile, other hotels i’ve stayed at have been very cooperative with late flights and just make notes on the reservation. i called hilton customer service and then weren’t much better unfortunately. they talked to me condescendingly basically seemed mad that i used expedia. if you do research on this place, so many people have similar stories.

This location is my favorite Hilton Sparks location. It’s very clean. They have electric car charging on the property. The breakfast is very good. Place is very clean. Staff is amazing. I never have any difficulties. The TV is always work. Well, the rules are always excellent clean.

Staff were wonderful, and housekeeping was great. Clean towels and a nicely done bed every time we come back after a long day. The only thing I noticed was mold started to build up on the top area of the window, but seemed like that could be addressed easily. I wished there were a bit more options for the Continental Breakfast, but I can’t complain! Overall, my partner and I were very comfortable, and happy.

This hotel is ok if you’re looking for a close stay to universal Plusses are room size and proximity to the park. breakfast is fine however if you are looking to use the shuttle for park transport, it only runs once in the morning and at 5:30 for the return.no one is leaving the park at that time forcing you to Uber

Highly recommend, great no car needed reason lably priced hotel to attend a convention the Orange County Convention Center, ( I trolley available right next door as well as a wonderful IHOP restaurant. Free breakfast at hotel filled us up until lunch time each day, high end hotel renovation just completed, and staff actually welcoming you back each day were just some of our memorable moments of our trip. Also walkable distance to Universal studios as well as a trolley stop for their shuttle. We would definitely book this hotel again if visiting Orlando.

I thought it was strange how there wasn’t any free water, we would come back to the hotel from the theme parks and buy expensive water bottles.

Hotel was clean and enough for us to sleep and rest after a day at the park. Breakfast was very minimal. Would have enjoyed a hot option as we ate the same carbs thing everyday.

Room was great. The stay was perfect. Only thing I would suggest is scrambled eggs in the breakfast or fried eggs. The hard boiled egg was ok. Other than that the stay was awesome. The coffee all day n night was awesome

hotel in general was very clean. Breakfast staff was never able to answer any questions I had since they don’t speak English. And the front desk lady never answered me even though we stayed for 6 nights. I wanted to know if the bagels contained egg in the ingredients because of an allergy. The overall layout of the breakfast area is a disaster.

Continental breakfast was dismal quality. The room was ok but the highway traffic hear the hotel was loud all night long with huge trucks travelling. The one window pane did not keep out any noise. I do not recommend staying her. Pay for better quality. We only stayed two nights so live and learn but paying more will get you a lot more.

Room was not ready at check in. Waited 40 mins in the lobby with no communication. Went up to the other staff member (older male with glasses) and he was able to assist. The girl with curly hair at check is was not pleasant, told me that late check out can only be extended to 12:30pm since check out is 12pm where another told me one. I waited close to an hour for my room to be ready when I arrived at 3pm.

It was really clean. Mattress made our backs sore in the morning. Pillows too thin and flat. Shower bath tub was outdated, shower curtain pole rusted, carpet smell mildew particularly in the hallways. Cold breakfast buffet lacked options but was good, very clean, well attended.front entrance was nice and staff very polite. For the price, it was worth it.

My travel plans were a mess because of a winter storm that delayed my flights and despite all the complexities I faced the staff was happy to accommodate my stay as best as possible and were patient, kind, and personable. I would absolutely pick this hotel to stay in again for future trips. The room was also clean and tidy!

Only issue was that there weren't enough down/feather-free pillows our first night (but staff made it right the next day!) and the shuttle only has one (very early) pick up time.

Room was clean. The staff was courteous and responsive. My "access" bathroom was terrible - the floor got wet any time we took a shower. I had t o go to the front desk everyday for more towels to cleanup because housekeeping wont leave extra towels as requested. Breakfast was ok, but I expected more variety. The 24-hour coffee & tea station was excellent.

The staff was great. While we would have liked more space, an extra chair, we made do. Our family took turns being sick during our stay, housekeeping did a great job each day. If your not planning on being in the room, and Just sleep, I recommend. Breakfast was average. Beds comfortable.

We have been Hilton Honors members for years. We are used to Hilton standards, and we did not get them with this hotel. There were no glasses in the room for water. The soap in the shower was attached to the wall with no bar soap for a bath. Very difficult to reach while bathing. Housekeeping did not wipe down the counters when they cleaned the room. There is one elevator for the entire hotel, and it is very noisy and bouncy. We were very disappointed with Spark by Hilton!

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast options were minimal, and the corridors could benefit from better lighting as they felt a bit dark and gloomy.

Everything was good: clean rooms, clean towels every day, and the staff was nice. The location was PERFECT if you’re going to visit Universal Parks. The only two things I didn’t like were the lack of variety at breakfast and the elevator, which needs maintenance (it’s too slow).

Overall it’s amazing, but the free breakfast is subpar compared to other hotel. But I can’t complain because it’s free.

The hotel location was great. We were close to everything we needed to be, including Universal. The room was clean and the room setup was great for our family with there being a little living area separate from the bedroom. There was definitely a lack of amenities. There is a pool, but it was not heated and since we were staying in December, it was way too cold for a pool that was not heated. We were also not given new towels one of the days and the room could have been cleaned a little better.

We stayed here because it was close to Universal. This hotel has a nice staff. Everyone was friendly to the guests, our bedroom was clean and the hot tea and coffee stand near the elavator was always filled, This hotel seemed like a renovated hotel but it serves all the purposes we needed. Breakfast was continental without meat but had boiled eggs which was a plus. Would five star if sausage was provided at breakfast.

The staff was friendly. The amenities could be better, the breakfast offered is not at all appealing, and the hallway (at least on the 2nd floor) has no AC so it feels and smells like humidity. Beds are comfortable but the bathroom in my room had weird stains on the tub.

I called the hotel management and they didn’t do anything, 99 percent of the staff didn’t understand English. Was a horrible experience, I actually left earlier than expected. Use to be my family's favorite place unfortunately not anymore.

Our check in experience was very poor. We traveled as a family group (total if 4 rooms). The attendant was unwelcoming & appeared to be bothered when I requested the rooms be nearby each other. As a hilton honors member I was able to see the availability & room bedding type in the mobile check in - he claimed that the room type we selected could not be issued those rooms (but ai was able to do so via the app). He ended up changing all of our reservations to a less desirable location. The room attendants & breakfast staff, on the other hand, were very accommodating & friendly.

Wow HILTON???? I REACHED OUT TO THE FRONT DESK AND THE MANAGER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A CALL BACK FROM THE PROPERTY MANAGER.AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. THAT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

The night front desk rep, Alfredo, told me I had to wait 20 minutes due to a system audit. When I explained I was exhausted and asked for help when he was available, he raised his voice and said he was busy. The general manager never followed up about my experience. Overall, this hotel is low quality, with a very basic breakfast and no hot food. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

The hotel advertised free shuttles to universal, the catch was that it only brought you to the parks once in the morning and once at night. The nighttime pick up was at 5:30. Not very helpful seeing how the parks close at 10pm and 7pm. If you are booking this hotel for the shuttle I do not recommend. I emailed Manny the GM, with no response, thanks for no support

Coffee was consistently cold outside of breakfast hours, and decaf/other supplies were hit or miss. Staff were polite, but limited in what they could actually resolve. Breakfast operations were the biggest issue. Too few staff for the number of guests. Yogurt, milk, fruit, and even bread ran out on multiple mornings. Replenishment was slow, trash bins overflowed, and the buffet closed strictly at 9:30 on weekdays and 10:00 on weekends. Many guests were left rushing near closing time. Shuttle service wasn’t worth the hassle due to long waits and limited hours, though this seems typical for the area hotels. Parking is $27/day, but the $135 maximum per stay saved us some money. Overall, you get what you pay for. Not comparable to a standard Hilton. Fine only if you’re on a strict budget and booked at a deep discount; not worth it at market pricing. We also left a small bag with headphones, chargers, and a work ID. We emailed a prepaid shipping label the same day. After six days of repeated calls and messages, nothing was sent. We eventually had to pay for UPS pickup ourselves. Front desk staff stayed friendly but offered no practical assistance.

Great hotel! Im giving 5 stars because the things that are expected they nailed. Clean room 5 stars, friendly staff 5 stars, location 5 stars, price 5 stars. The extras that i thought were nice. Our room was very spacious, plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. The breakfast while simple, did the trick (especially since we are not big breakfast people). It was nice to have the shuttle to the universal park as an option. But to be fair i wouldnt put too much stock in this amenity. They drop you off once a day and pick up is way before the parks close. So my son and i never utilized this option. Uber was not expensive for us to go back and forth to the park each day. Overall i would 100% stay here again when in the orlando area

Not so good: our room was facing the highway, the noise coming from it make difficult to sleep. Air conditioning noises also contributed. Seems to be an old hotel with a light refresh. The room carpet smells bad. Room configuration is odd. The complimentary breakfast included was always the same, just dry options.

I could overlook the broken safe, closet doors that won’t close, loud bathroom fan, and noisy AC. But what made this unbearable was a loud banging noise at 6:30 AM EVERY SINGLE DAY for all three days of my stay. It woke me up each morning without fail. All I wanted was to sleep and enjoy the parks. Instead, I was sleep-deprived the entire trip. This may have been specific to my room, but I can’t recommend this hotel when basic sleep is impossible. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.

The room was not ready for a hour past check in which was a surprise as we showed up 30 minutes after check in time. However, the room was very clean. Breakfast was really great, always had plenty of options. The staff was very friendly as well, just the annoyance of waiting an hour for our room after a day of travel.

Something that can be improved is the deposit fee, I understand the purpose of these fees. But I do believe the fee was rather high than any deposit fee I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Other then that the stay was pleasant and I appreciated the complimentary shuttle.

I didn’t care for the handicap shower as I am not handicapped. Was impossible to keep the water from getting everywhere. There was an exceptionally loud guest that was locked out of their room and continued to bang on the door for several hours. Turns out she eventually passed out in the lobby area. That kept me up all night.

The water of the shower was cold. I got a cold and flu for that reason.

The staff is great and went above and beyond. Many times we had to reach out to them for various things from the front desk to the breakfast attendant, and everyone was very accommodating. Our only complaint would be humidity building up after we all took showers. Our room 227 did not have a functional bathroom vent, it turns on but doesn't remove the humid air. It was cool at the time of our visit, but I could imagine it it would be very stuffy in the summer time in there.

Everything was very good except the smell in the lobby is very overpowering. Instant headache for sensitive noses. It's a pleasant smell if it were 1/4 of the power.

There was free parking and in the area where we were, that was a nice amenity. It's one of the primary reasons we stayed there. The hotel looked relatively new. It was in a location with some restaurants and other places to go during the evenings. I would say it would have been helpful to have a dresser in the room. There was a closet and some shelves, but no dresser. Also, there was some sort of air freshener in the lobby that was very overpowering and unpleasant.

Room temperature was extreme, either too warm or two cool. Could never get it quite right. Room had a slightly pet odor. Cooling unit had a lot of condensation, causing the rug to become saturated. So this hotel can easily get confused with the one at Universal if you aren’t careful when traveling which can be frustrating. The check in time in my opinion is quite late, so if you get there early expect an early fee even if the room is ready. There was no water machines and just a singular ice maker downstairs so me and my friend were getting a little dehydrated during the trip. In our room though, I must say it appeared clean, but there wasn’t hot water in our shower, the shower was draining slow like it had a clog, and the TV didn’t have our preferred streaming service, Hulu. Overall I’m not sure that I would stay at spark again.

The cancelled my hotel reservation without notifying and I spent 4 hours driving to the location arrived at 11 pm just to not have a room and was forced to search for a hotel last minute and they were blaming Expedia

Breakfast was just average-cereal, bagels, boiled eggs. Only took us about 5mins to get to Universal and parking was easy! I’d stay here again.

The hotel was okay for a short stay, but there were several downsides. The breakfast was very limited and exactly the same every day, which became repetitive quickly. The dining area was also quite small, so it often felt crowded during the morning rush. Additionally, the noise from the nearby highway was noticeable, especially at night, making it hard to get a good rest. Overall, it’s decent for a quick stopover, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer or relaxing stay.

Everything is excellent. I just have to say that the bathtub curtains are not waterproof or safe because they allow water to pass through and wet the entire bathroom floor. This can be a risk of accidents.
