Free parking. Free breakfast. Clean rooms

The property is very dated. Most important, the water in the shower was scalding hot, and initially not adjustable. I was finally able to bang on the spigot and force the lever to get a merely a bit too hot shower, but this was a dangerous situation. When I talked with the hotel staff, they said this was the case for most or all the rooms, and they couldn’t get a plumber out to fix it. The staff were nice, and the breakfast was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the property.

This was the perfect spot to stay when we attended a wedding. The room was clean the staff was nice and parking is easy.

Hotel is nice but outdated. Older furniture. No USB ports for charging. Breakfast was excellent with choices of waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal with lots of toppings.

We have stayed at numerous Marriott hotels around the world but this by far is the worst, incompetent staff {Gabriel and Amy} took 25 minutes to check us in, we go to our room to find a total mess as the previous guests haven't checked out yet, went back to the lobby and it took them another 25 minutes to get us a different room and blamed the system for it with an attitude and not one single word of apology, they lacked basic skills to be a hotel receptionist, the hotel is below average, the room had a stain in the carpet and the AC is too loud,

Great location, beautiful scenery. Felt safe. Pool was warm and kids loved it. Other guests were friendly. The rooms were big. The hotel overall was quiet. The breakfast was good and sufficiently stocked. I prepaid via the app when booking the rooms and upon arrival the property could not figure out how to continue with the booking. After 2 hours in the hot lobby, we had to just completely cancel the reservation and rebook a completely different way. Room furniture showed wear and tear but appreciated that the room was clean.

The pool was smaller and more shallow than the pictures indicated, and the lights were out in the hot tub and people were chain smoking on the patio outside the pool - we couldn't escape the horrible smell. The beds were very uncomfortable. The location was quite a drive from all the sights and activities we did, but in a nicer area.

The pool had a great view and the room had 3 beds with the sofa pull-out. Housekeeping was fantastic and the breakfast was good. My friend and I stayed at this hotel 2 nights for the Tuscon Marathon in December. It was super convenient to the start and end location. There were also plenty of options for really good food nearby. The staff had water, coffee and bagels set up really early in the morning, which was not necessary but very much appreciated. The hotel was cozy and the amenities were just right. My one complaint was that the internet was incredibly slow and I was unable to complete the work I intended to do during my downtime.
- 2/5
Made reservation through Orbitz and Orbitz sent confirmation itinerary. Got to the hotel to check-in and was informed by hotel staff that they don't know why Orbitz confirmed the room or had it available because there was no availability. Hopefully will be able to get a refund especially after we ended up having to drive 2 hours home after 10pm.
- 3/5
The rooms seemed dated, there were no usb ports available and the electrical plugs were not easily accessible.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great with lively staff. Rooms were clean, pool was great.
- 4/5
Clean room, good variety at breakfast with large eating area… lots of towels appreciated, nice room with pull out bed for family of 5. Great area, easy access, friendly staff.
- 5/5
I was bouncing around hotels for 36 days and this was by far my best experience. Front desk staff was outstanding and the breakfast room staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Service staff were friendly, breakfast had wide variety of options and staff kept food refilled throughout service time. Room's overall appearance was worn. Beds were comfortable and room temp was comfortable. Bathroom had mold on the wall and ceiling, dirty exhaust vent, and was dimly let. Did not feel I got the value for my money and will stay elsewhere when I'm back in Tucson.
- 3/5
Breakfast was great. Rooms could use a remodel. They’re still dark and smell musty and like the smell of cigarettes was trying to be covered up.
- 4/5
The staff was courteous and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Good breakfast!
- 2/5
The 2 beds were very uncomfortable and mattresses dipped in the middle. The whirlpool jets were not working properly when we went to check out the pool. We didn’t bother using it. Then the free breakfast was a nightmare. It was from 7-10am. We got there at 8:30am and apparently that was after the rush. There was no oatmeal left, no bacon left, no potatoes. The waffle batter dispenser was broken and had to be fixed. Apparently that happens all the time. The coffee was out and we were told to go out to the lobby to get some as it would be awhile. The cranberry juice came out as pink water. I did head to the front desk to ask for possible help for the poor gentleman trying to refill everything by himself all at the same time. The lady at the front came for a moment and when the guy said, “it’s been REALLY busy”. She said, “yea, we’re sold out”. She didn’t help much and then left. Someone must have tripped on the rug in the breakfast area as there was powder sugar all over the rug, floor, and furniture. No one was bothering to address it. My entire family said, “Please don’t ever book that place again”.
- 4/5
Every member of staff I met was warm, kind, and solicitous. Rooms were quiet and clean. The sofa bed had a mattress that was little more than a filthy sheet stretched over springs, noisy and uncomfortable. But if you don’t need the sofa bed, it’s great value.
- 5/5
Room was clean and priced right. Everyone that worked here was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good and the coffee was wonderful. We’d stay here again!
- 5/5
All was excellent and everyone was friendly and professional. Room and breakfast area was clean. Only suggestion is light on bathroom mirror was very dim with no side light so difficult to put make-up on. Minimal complaint, but was surprised about that, given the nice hotel.
- 3/5
The staff was nice and professional . The hotel is outdated. Guess was super loud and noisy.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice and quiet for being off the main road, easy parking.

- 3/5
It was fine
- 3/5
The orange sofa looked dirty. I didn’t sit on it due to the appearance
- 4/5
I have stayed here numerous times. Staff is consistent! However, the last two stays; hottub jets; 4/6 not working , pool not heated.. very disappointing.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be staying here again.
- 1/5
All facilities were great!! Staff helpful and great information on restaurants and local things to do. Very nice.
- 5/5
All great. The staff was great and had information on local things to do and restaurants etc. brilliant.
- 5/5
Very well run, clean & quiet.
- 5/5
We like 24 hour coffee and hot tea I only drink tea I love it don’t to cook in the pot
- 3/5
Friendly staff, older hotel, rooms were descent and good but they did have a musty smell to them. Had to light a candle.
- 4/5
The Fairfield Inn had a good breakfast. I did not like that the cleaning person only came every other day.
- 4/5
Not comment.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and nice location
- 3/5
This location had close parking and all the staff were nice. Decent breakfast was included. The room was small, dark and had a peculiar smell. Wasn’t a very inviting room.
- 5/5
Swift courteous check in,Great variety of food for breakfast, lovely pool and amazing scenery! A Wonderful staff,we especially want to give a shout out to Fernando and Jennifer.Thank you for going above and beyond!Godbless you all
- 3/5
It’s unfortunate that this hotel is SO run down and dated it’s in a great location.
- 5/5
Trash can by 1st floor door, end of left hallway, outside was full and over flowing the entire time we were at the establishment.
- 1/5
It had roaches
- 3/5
no clean the room every day
- 5/5
Very clean, very good service good Chinese restaurant and Mexican restaurant on both sides of the hotel
- 5/5
The pool was lovely but there was a broken umbrella and the trash didn't seem to get removed until it was super full. Where are the towels?? This is a really nice hotel in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains with a beautiful view from the pool deck. Definitely a good pick for the price.
- 4/5
Quiet and clean. Breakfast had lots of options
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5

Even thought 3 pm was the stated check in time there was no problem checking in early. The staff were all very friendly and we were impressed with the variety and tastiness of the free breakfast. Sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, egg, cheese and sausage biscuit sandwiches and lots of condiments good juice selection along with the waffles, bagles and muffins. They had a great cereal selection with fruit and yogurt, oatmeal and lots of toppings. Excellent variety. We would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
It was nice - clean and great breakfast
- 3/5
Could be better with much needed remodel.
- 4/5
The toliet was very low to the ground!!! And all paper product were very rough and scratchy
- 4/5
While I loved the proximity to our event, the place itself is showing signs of wear, especially at the pool area. Everything felt old, dirty and in disrepair outside the property.
- 4/5
No warm water in the tub/shower in the morning around 7 to 9. Food was ok. Air conditioning is cold or off until room equalizes. Then cold. Always a bit loud and hard to sleep with if you are a light sleeper.
- 3/5
The hotel's location was great, near Naranja Park where we watched our granddaughter play soccer and near a bike path where could connect to almost anywhere in Tucson. Also, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was yummy. The only downside was that we reserved a king-bed room, which they didn't have, so we had to settle for a two-queen room. Also, the carpet and paint in our room were a bit worn; time for an update.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 4/5
The front desk was willing to look at it and swap it out if needed, but since it was working and we had no leakage we turn down the offer.
- 3/5
We had a pleasant stay, but the noise level in this hotel is pretty bad. It was convenient having a decent continent type breakfast included in our price of the room, but the young lady working couldn't seem to keep up with having enough food readily available. I definitely would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Really great
- 5/5
Great property
- 1/5
All my days of stay, housekeeping never bothered to show up, staff seem super busy and didn't care for the customers and breakfast was horrible. Room was ok, beds were old and gave me back pain. The hotel will charge you premium price per night, you are better off in a different hotel than paying steep prices for nothing at this hotel
- 5/5
It was a very quick and easy check in
- 3/5
Pros: Super nice staff in all areas. Breakfast was good. Convenient location to visit our family.
- 2/5

- 5/5
Safe location Really good free breakfast Clean but a little tired in its ambience

Mattress in hotel was not able to be used it was too uncomfortable. I have reached out to Expedia for a refund partial due to needing to change hotels.
- 4/5
Location petty good
- 4/5
Good value for money hotel in the Oro Valley with great Mountain Views. There were a couple of restaurants close by but generally you would want a car to get around.
- 5/5
Great experience for a auick award ceremony.
- 5/5
Great experience!!
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly
- 5/5
This is a nice hotel located in Oro Valley along Oracle Road. It was a convenient location for us to stay in because it was close to family members residing in Saddlebrooke and other nearby areas. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, good breakfast options, and nice staff. This is your typical 3-star hotel that serves its fuction very well. If you are looking for luxury, then stay at the Ritz Carlton on DOve Mountain.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, pool with beautiful view of the mountains, very good Mexican restaurant next door. Great location all around.
- 4/5
Decent place to stay. Only complaint is the air conditioner was loud.
- 5/5
We only stayed 1 night, but rooms were comfortable & staff were great’
- 3/5
Unfortunately the pool was not working. We were not aware until the day after we checked in. We would have stayed somewhere else had we been told. That was what my son was looking forward too. Also, the dead bolt would not lock on our door. Great restaurant right next door. Breakfast was great. The cleanliness and staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
Great Staff
- 4/5
A little disappointed with the pool area, but it was great for a night stop. Parking lot on the other side of the fence, small area and hot tub out of commission. Rooms are large and bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Set against a backdrop of red-rock cliffs, this hotel is quite affordable considering that there are several high-end resorts nearby. Nice facility, very quiet area, helpful staff, decent free breakfast. Not near the local freeways, but that's also a plus if you don't mind a short scenic drive.
- 2/5
Very dated and in serious need of a facelift. We had to go to the front desk and complain about an ant infestation in our room. I asked if there were any rooms we could switch to but he said only available ones were on the 2nd floor. My wife has stage 4 renal cell cancer and wasn’t feeling well enough for a big room switch! He then gave me a can of bug spray!!
- 5/5
Super friendly check-in. Accomadate all special request with total customer focus. Rooms are exactly as described and quiet with kitchen area. Location central to everything. A very friendly and guest focused hotel with lots of free parking in a well lit area. Again, the staff are very committed to the guest experience.
- 4/5
Was a great stay. It was clean, service was friendly, all was good. Of course, everything can be better, but it was really really good. For the price range, it was excellent.
- 5/5
Great stay when I come into town for work at our Corporate Office here at Teen Challenge of Arizona.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
Convenient.
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was so nice and it wasnt a hassle at all to check in. The rooms are worth the price.
- 3/5
Older establishment, Smelly, old carpets need to be shampooed, beds are to firm. Pool needs deep cleaning, whirlpool is not whirling probably needs deep cleaning too.
- 5/5
Second stay at the Fairfield- staff are always kind and helpful. Location is very convenient, rooms are clean, and facility is well maintained.
- 5/5
Great location for our needs. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. No parking for large vehicle with trailer. Resturant next door.
- 5/5
The hotel is tucked on the side of a fairly frequented street however it was quiet and we did not hear traffic noise. The staff was friendly. The hotel and more importantly our room was clean. Lots of parking available!
- 5/5
I would rate this much higher if I could. The front staff was absolutely amazing, very kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming. Really all of the staff was great. The breakfasts were awesome, pool was nice, room was super spacious & comfortable…. Highly recommend!!
- 5/5
This place is run by a kind and hardworking staff. They even took the time to remember my name and I was greeted every time. The breakfast is delicious and has a very wide variety of foods, something for everyone. The building is very nice and clean but I give them a 10 out of 10, because of the staff. From administration, to the cleaning crew, I was always given an honest smile
- 5/5
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both at the check in desk and the breakfast buffet
- 5/5
Nothing bad at all.
- 5/5
So easy to find! Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The elevator was old and slow; the stairs were very far from our room. Those were the only drawbacks. Super clean and remodeled nicely with a tasty breakfast that slightly changed each day we were there.
- 4/5
The mountains were wonderful.
- 5/5
Great staff all around!
- 4/5
I enjoyed the stay, plus the next door restaurants were a bonus.
- 4/5
front desk very pleasant. She has a very rude customer and handled the guest with poise and professionalism.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby was pretty. The free breakfast was ample and full of choices
- 5/5
Nice, comfortable and quiet.
- 4/5
My only complaints are the carpet in the room was filthy and there were barking dogs the whole time.
- 5/5
limpio, accesible y buena atención
- 2/5
The room was awful. Shower tub didn’t drain fully, partial caulking disintegrates, shower head corroded, no room cleaning the first day. Shades didn’t easily open or close. Occasional rattling sound throughout the night. Could hear sounds, foot steps from surrounding rooms. First day breakfast was great, second day seemed to feature leftover eggs from prior day: crusted over and revolting.
- 3/5
Rooms worn and dated, but clean. Pool and hot tube not kept clean. Security is an issue, youcan enter hotel though pool area buy opening rear gate, then doors into hotel are not locked.
- 4/5
The only small flaw was the low water pressure; otherwise it was excellent .
- 4/5
The property is in a great location for hiking, playing pickleball and seeing other sights. The breakfast options were very good. The only problem was the carpet was very dirty. So much so that we wore shoes at all times while walking in our room.
- 5/5
Breakfast and has an elevator.
- 5/5
Staff was outstanding.
- 4/5
A little traffic noise, but nice place
- 5/5
We arrived on Tuesday evening for a one night stay. We had reserved a room with a king size bed, and when we arrived were told there was none available. We were given a room with two queens. Although the furniture in the room was quite dated, The beds were comfortable. The room was clean, The breakfast in the morning was quite simple with minimal choices. Staff were all friendly.
- 5/5
Outstanding service from the front desk check-in who was Alfonzo Castillo he was very hospitable and had a great sense of humor.
- 2/5
Property was in a good area and was convenient for my stay. Hotel is rundown and has various maintenance issues. Housekeeping didn’t service the room during our stay, which is still common for lower end hotels post pandemic. Front doors of hotel were not operational and had to be operated manually which is ridiculous. Room toilet ran constantly because it needs a new float. Furniture is worn and needs to be replaced. Better hotels nearby. Guessing this is a franchised property and owners don’t put any money to it.
- 3/5
The towels smelled like rotten eggs. The breakfast was boring. Sometimes the eggs were like rubber, other times smelled like they were cooked in the same dish that bacon or sausage was prepared. There was no variety. Almost the same thing every day, and every day there was something they ran out, such as coffee creamer, or tea.
- 4/5
Very Nice hotel for a great price! Lovely staff! Good breakfast. Clean. A good value!
- 5/5
We stay here numerous times- great staff, clean rooms.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff and very accommodating
- 5/5
We love this place.
- 5/5
Was very convenient for me.
- 4/5
The property was fine. The breakfast served even for a motel really lacked.
- 5/5
Needed electric charging station . All staff ( make food preparer ) managers front checkin males& female) were kind and caring ( our son/ partner came with a small baby ) - they were able to give us what we needed .
- 5/5
Easy checkin. Clean property and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great breakfast!
- 4/5
Was very clean and comfortable. Vanity in bathroom was too small for our stuff.
- 5/5
The very best continental breakfast with clean surroundings.
- 4/5
Great people and clean property. It’s a bit dated and worn. The single elevator with distant stairs can cause some congestion. Very nice breakfast area and friendly staff make it a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
A wonderful stay!
