We were overall pleased with our weekend stay at the Casey Key Resort Mainland location, especially for the cost and the amenities included. The free shuttle to their private beach and resort area was a great perk. It made getting to the beach simple, and it’s only about 100 yards from Nokomis Beach if you want to explore without worrying about parking or transportation. The downside of our stay was the dining experience. We chose to have dinner at the resort and were disappointed with both the taste and quality. The $38 crusted triple tail was nearly inedible, and the Caesar salad was soaked in dressing. We decided to give Sunday brunch a try the next morning, but I found a piece of metal in my French toast. The chef apologized sincerely and offered a free orange juice, which I appreciated, but it didn’t fully make up for the issue. We were also charged for a mimosa even though the menu clearly stated they were complimentary with a breakfast entrée. Additionally, the resort advertises a complimentary coffee station, but it didn’t exist. When I asked for a coffee at checkout, we were charged $5 for a small plain black coffee. The resort itself has great potential and offers solid value for the room, amenities, and beach access. We would consider returning for the amenities and beach access However, the dining experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the rest of the stay.

Nicole at the front desk was very helpful. I can’t remember the two women bartenders outside by the pool, but they were super friendly and made us feel very warm and welcome. We had a great time. We will definitely return. This is a great property, especially for the money you won’t regret it.

Stay was nice and the pool but the steak in the dining room was tough an they used powdered potatoes -would not eat there again.

Room was not worth 150 a night. Building was so-so. Room was large with a very dirty, used couch. King size bed was ok. Fridge seemed not to be very useful. No microwave. Floor was uneven walking into the bathroom. Tile seemed to be in need of repair. Shower was large enough for a party. Decor not very interesting. Outdoor area by pool had uneven and poorly kept wooden flooring. Pool looked nice. Many younger (teen) people using the pool. Outdoor bar area allowed smoking which was difficult to be exposed to. Christina the bartender/server was great. Very attentive and friendly. Lobster flatbread was something I would not want to reorder. I ended up sharing the majority of it with the people at the bar. Wings at the indoor bar/ restaurant were good. Breakfast pricey for eggs and bacon. All in all not a great experience and too much $$.

The pool was refreshing. We were able to be moved to a 1st floor upon arrival, which was very nice of them to do for us. Our room was very clean and we had plenty of towels. Pillows were not very comfortable, but the beds were nice. We were pretty close to down town shops and the beach. Overall, I would return, and I did enjoy my stay.

Room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The only unfortunate thing was that the walls are very thin and the doors to rooms slam very loudly. Other than that, the pool was nice, parking was good, we didn’t get to try the restaurant but it looked very good. Overall decent place to stay.

This is our home away from home in the west coast if Florida! Lots of nice beaches close by! Property is well maintained, don’t forget to stop at chef Rolf’s!

There was a crust on the top of them and they were half full. Staff was very nice and accommodating when I told them we wanted to leave and they immediately refunded my stay.

The hotel was okay overall, but not as good as I expected. The location was convenient, and the staff was polite, but the rooms could have been better maintained. One downside was the noise at night, which made it difficult to fully relax and get a good night’s sleep. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but for the price, I expected more comfort, better maintenance, and a quieter environment.

The room did not look at all like the pictures. There were stains on the wall that they tried to cover with paint, and someone came to look at them and said he would get back to me, but never heard from him again.

A microwave wouldn't be terrible. I found the "Fully breakfast" misleading, there is no free breakfast. Food is way overpriced and portions were tiny. Housekeeping didn't went one of the days. It was a fine stay. A bit lackluster.

Breakfast at the restaurant was fair at best with very slow service. We asked for decafe pics for the Keurig in our room and the hotel had none at all. The room itself was fine and the AC worked well. If you want to relax with few kids, this isn't your spot

Very nice room. Plenty of space. Balcony was lovely to sit on. Room was very quiet. We overlooked the pool, which was quite loud, but as soon as you closed the nice, heavy sliders the noise was blocked out. Comfy bed and very clean. Very convenient and safe location. I highly recommend!

Property was in good area and close to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfy. Reception area was dark and not welcoming. Our room was in a building behind the main hotel and it was a bit tiered looking. AC was not sufficiently cooling the room during the day.

We just stayed for the night, so we didn’t use any of the amenities that the hotel offer, like the pool or breakfast. Our first room had an AC unit that didn’t work great and the room was hot. They moved us to another room upon request, which was nice of them. The next room had working AC, but the hotel card reader on the door needed new batteries, just typical maintenance. The air in the second room did work, but still didn’t cool as much as we wanted it to. The was also an outlet next to a bed that didn’t work. The room was pretty clean, but the bathroom was just ok I’d say. I found a couple hairs but they were in out of the way spots where only I’d check lol. The hotel lobby was very nice, but the building we stayed in looked a little weathered and a not as well maintained in my opinion. Overall, the stay was good, but for the price point I’d expect more upkeep and cleanliness.

The property felt dirty, humid, poorly maintained, chaotic, and not safe at all. We even caught a maid attempting to sneak into our room, then pretending she was coming to hand us one washcloth. And by all means avoid the kitchen. We were served rotten pork chops and later found flies in the coffee. Very disappointing to see how far this place has declined.

My daughter and I did a little staycation for my birthday earlier this month. You cannot beat the prices for what you get! We live maybe five minutes away from this hotel and it was so worth it. First floor room with a balcony right at the pool was amazing. Easy access to the room and such a cute tiki bar. Live music Friday night was so much fun.

I had a great experience. Great location. Close to many beaches. Pool area with bar and cabanas and stage was fun with music.

Clean rooms, the restaurant provided excellent food. The pool and poolside bar was a great addition to our stay. The often had live music. The staff was great, especially Renee at the tiki bar.

Super clean hotel, friendly staff and the pool is amazing! Always the perfect temperature. Chef Rolf’s food is made from scratch and there’s always music, bands and things going on for the weekend. Quiet and peaceful location with daily shuttles to and from their private beach. What’s not to love?

I was a bit surprised that the hotel charged for morning coffee.

AC wasn't keeping up with the heat from outside and it was only 85°F outside. Instead of moving us to a different room, we were offered a fan for the room.

It was just an overnight stay for us so we didn't get to view all of the amenities. Front desk was full of smiles, extremely helpful and the check-in was a breeze and so was checkout. We would definitely stay again when we have more time.

I believe the word resort is a bit overstated. TV remote didn’t work. Given $5 off coupons for breakfast but restaurant not open. Live music was a guitar player that sang horribly. Staff at the tiki bar charged other people’s food and beverages to my tab then only got refunded the cost of the food, not the tax or the tip I had already paid for on it. Would not go back.

Try to stay in main building up front. It’s an old motel that’s been redone well and the shuttle to the beach is wonderful

Older property. Bathroom was tired and shower was moldy. Dirty vents. They are trying in some areas but with so many modern properties out there I wouldn’t stay in the 80s again.

The property was originally a Ramada Inn. Definitely needs some updates and repairs - very dated looking. But the room was comfortable and relatively clean. The pool area was well maintained and comfortable. The outdoor bar is fun and they had so-so entertainment going quite a bit of the time. Love the option to go over and use their private beach. It was so nice to have chairs/umbrellas, a fantastic view, and no crowds whatsoever. Not sure if I’ll stay here again or not, but it was a nice couple nights. Would not want to spend a whole week here.

I was really disappointed with my stay at Casey Key Resorts. Calling this place a “resort” is misleading — it is much more like a motel with a pool and two bars. The bartenders were average at best, and the bar area itself was unpleasant, with cigarette ash all over. The overall environment felt uncomfortable, especially for two women staying alone. Instead of feeling relaxing or welcoming, it felt uneasy and not at all what we expected. We were so uncomfortable that we checked out within an hour of checking in.

This property is not the “resort” it shows online. The best part of the entire place was the little tiki bar and the staff. The rest of the “resort” was pretty terrible. Everything is extremely run down and old, there are no curtains in the rooms (only verticals) so the room stays lit up from the sun/parking lot lights all night long. I felt like everything gave off a dirty feel. Paint and tile were chipped, dirty grout, loud mini fridge, discolored toilet. We had to shower as quickly as we could because the drain was awful and collected about 1 1/2 inches of water in the bottom that just pooled around your feet, you essentially were standing in a little pool the entire time. There is no shower door or curtain, it is wide open. We definitely will not be staying here again.

The staff was all really helpful and friendly , from the front desk , to the manager , to the restaurant staff. The pool was very nice and the lounge chairs and tables were in good conditions. The restaurant wasn’t that good for the price tag attached to it so maybe avoid that. Overall not horrible but I would look for another place to stay next time!

Rooms give ‘spartan’ a whole new meaning. Only one chair to sit on. No shelf space in the bathroom.

We stayed for 2 days and everything was as described online. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the restaurant due to the high prices but it looked like good food.

Hallway had odd odors and room had strong Musty odor. Suspect possibly due to multiple flooding From past hurricane activity. Asked for different room and Staff was Most accommodating.They Upgraded our room .They also were very liberal in providing”extras”.

We didn't utilize the business room or gym. We would have used a hot tub. :) Clean and efficient for what we wanted.

I'm not sure what was deluxe about our room, although that's what I booked. In the description it read balcony and black out curtains. Neither were true. We had flimsy blinds that hardly kept out the light from the light on the door. The bed and pillows were sub par.

The pool area was very nice and clean. Friendly front desk. The room was clean and nice strong shower. What I didn’t like was the cheap blinds on the window and feel of being in a hospital. Too white and not a cozy feel. The bed and pillows were great but overall it was just ok.

This place was quiet and clean and within easy drive to beaches, even had a shuttle to their beach. The pool was so nice and we rented a cabana for a day of relaxation. The restaurant was good food, try the she-crab soup it was excellent!

Then, after we finally decided to roll with all the above - on our second to last morning, we checked Breakfast time, open till 11 it said. We show up at 10:37 and were refused service, they said "there isn't enough people staying here to keep it open so we closed 7 minutes ago"..... I asked where that was posted or how did they try and let us know as we had been in the room all morning and could have had breakfast earlier...front desk just looked at me blankly and said 'Oh'. Seriously, that was the only response. Not what can we do for you, the kitchen was still open for lunch they couldn't make some eggs??? Just bad

The pool was nice and clean, staff was friendly, the restaurant prices were too high and for breakfast we received a 25 dollar discount but for 2 people it’s definitely not enough for the big price that they have. Room was ok could be better and it was a lot of noise in the room from the fridge during night time.

This place has been updated but poorly done. It’s an average property. I think for the price I paid I could have found a better property.

The pool was nice and warm but the weather did not cooperate. Purchased the prime suite and was disapointed with it. Was very plain and i imagined a siute as having a seperate sleeping area to the living area. My girlfriend has end stage cancer and a seperate sleeping area would have been nice as she needed extra rest. Overall, I would come back. Unfortunately my girlfriend will not be able to make it.

Room was old and outdated. Felt like I was at a Holiday Inn off the interstate in 1980. Coffee maker didn’t work, or perhaps it was just buried in a dark alcove and we couldn’t see it properly. Room light was horribly dim, maybe missing a bulb? Resort fee? What resort? No amenities, no activities. Tried to sit pool side at night and the people smoking marijuana had taken over. We couldn’t stay out there. Even the front desk attendant was covering her face with her sweater when the door open and the smell came inside. Way too expensive for what we got.

Hinter den Türen, zwischen den Schränken und auf dem Balkon war sehr viel alter Staub und Dreck. Das Zimmer wurde auf Nachfrage gereinigt; nicht gut, aber immerhin. Wir hatten unseren Hochzeitstag angemeldet. Leider gab es hier keine Aufmerksam vom Hotel auf dem Zimmer, obwohl wir es Monate im Vorraus angemeldet hatten. Es gab jedoch ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Parkplätze waren vor dem Hotel gratis vorhanden. Frühstück sehr teuer. Die Poolbar war ok, preislich recht hoch, aber ok.

The rooms were so clean, the staff were outstanding and we really enjoyed the poolside room with a table and chairs on our patio.

We stayed Valentine’s Day weekend and I was very impressed with the festivities and they even gave me a rose at check in. The rooms were very nice, spacious. Everything was clean. Every other hotel in the area price gouged over $300/night for the holiday weekend but they were way under and worth every penny!

I always enjoy staying at Casey Key Mainland. The employees are always friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant are a big plus to me. I only stay at Casey Key Mainland when I'm in the Venice/Sarasota area.

Staff was good and helpful. The room was spotless. The room was recently almost completely remodeled, very crisp & bright, nice modern shower. The HVAC was perfect, low constant blower very easy to live with. Overall we really were pleased.

I love staying here , i am disappointed they do not provide coffee in the lounge anyore. I used to go there to get the creamer for my coffee in my room and coffee in general. And since the breakfast is not included in the stay and they no longer offer coffee I might not stay there next time. But if you're not a coffee drinker its a great place !! Staff is always amazing.

The room was not clean, bed was not comfortable, had to wait over an hour for an extra blanket & call more than once. Rooms are far from sound proof & a big trash truck came middle of the night, the banging & flashing light was very disturbing. We were very disappointed in our stay!

I loved Bentley’s and enjoyed Rod, but I was aware that ownership had changed and told that the property had undergone an overhaul. My experience in this room has been disappointing at best. The carpet is disgusting. I mentioned how filthy one of my friend’s feet were, before realizing that all of ours were frim the CARPET! I am an extremely clean person & was appalled by the condition. Additionally: • A used Q-tip and an opened condom wrapper were found in the sofa cushions • The towels were damp • There was no hand soap in the downstairs bathroom • We requested extra sheets for the sofa; the fitted sheet was dirty I was unable to sleep due to concerns about the cleanliness of the sofa and room hygiene. I chose to stay here for my birthday (despite my dinner party being in Sarasota) because I have always loved this property, which makes the situation more disappointing. Love the hotel, but it needs a DEEP cleaning!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and the location was perfect for us. The fitness center and the lobby coffee machine were nice additions. The evening weather did not cooperate so we could not use the Tiki bar but it looked great. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Clean room. We had to be moved to another room because as soon as we went to our first room, there was two dogs barking continuously. The front desk was apologetic and very agreeable to move us. I think motels should make it a policy to know how many people will be staying in a room so they can adjust the amount of towels and wash cloths. Since we were moved before we stayed in the first room, we are not sure if there were more in the second room.. I know we could have asked for more but I think it would be better to be proactive on this issue. We loved the tiki bar and the bartender was very nice. We liked the gentleman that was providing entertainment that night. He does a great job of making you feel welcome.

It's been more than a month since they took the money from my deposit, and I call them and they tell me they can't do anything.

The hotel had a clean look, with easy access to the second floor via an elevator. The bar was popular, but there was no spill over noise in our hallway or the room. The self-service coffee/hot chocolate/chai station was well stocked and easy to use. There was ample parking close to the lobby entrance. All in all, it was a great place to spend a few days the Sarasota area.

this is one of my favorite stays in the area. They have a wonderful staff and a beautiful restraunt with great people.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff and convenient location. We ate breakfast in the restaurant which was delicious. And we had a very fun Saturday night sitting at the tiki bar at the pool. Highly recommend.

It felt like we were inconveniencing the staff at times for small questions or requests. The space was fairly clean although there were signs of wear that could use updating or repair.

Good afternoon to much light at night in the room through the window. No light on the hall way by the stairs. No breakfast. Me and my wife won’t stay there again.

The staff is amazing at front desk and dining but after 3 days we were moved to a new room and new room was nice. Our first room the vertical blinds were broken and a our room faced a parking lot. We used towels to cover the window. The first night the light went off in the bathroom and would not come back on plus the fire alarm wentt off about 10pm.

We just love that place! Every time we visit there is something new and upgraded, loved the restaurant they have and the Tiki bar. Kudos to their housekeeping department for their attention to details and friendliness.

The rooms need to have a broom in the room. After the beach trips, the sand made it so you didnt want to walk in your room without shoes. Invluding a broom in the room would solve that easily.

This was one of the best hotels i stayed in. The staff was amazing, amenities were awesome heated pool, tikki bar outside inside bar and full restaurant, their beach property was beautiful also. I definitely will be back next year to celebrate my birthday again.

The staff was very kind and. welcoming.. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The coffee macijne in the lobby was wonderful. We had a nice stay.

No hot water. Took a cold shower. Check out is 10 am. I’ve stayed in many, many hotels never has check out been 10 am. The place needs some sprucing up. Will never stay again. Definitely not worth the money.

Nice pool solid clean rooms quiet atmosphere

When we got to our room, we found dried blood on the sheets and a pillowcase, which was absolutely unacceptable. Housekeeping did replace them, but something that unsanitary should never happen in the first place. To make matters worse, due to a plumbing issue, we didn’t have hot water the entire first day. It was lukewarm at best, which made showering uncomfortable after a long day of travel. The experience at the bar was appalling and truly an embarrassment to the hotel. The bartender Courtney was clearly drunk, unprofessional, and even winked and flirted with my husband, which made both of us uncomfortable. We were hoping to enjoy the pool area, but that was another disappointment. There were so many locals using the pool that we couldn’t get a chair, and the environment felt chaotic instead of relaxing. On top of that, there was a strong smell of marijuana around the pool, and the music was extremely loud, making it impossible to unwind. Overall, this hotel failed in every area that matters. I do not recommend staying here.

The floor in our room was not attached to the subfloor - seemed like it had some significant water damage that was not replaced. Employees were very friendly! Pool area and tiki bar were nice. We did not eat there so can’t speak to the food. It’s an older motel that they are trying to update. Room had a musty smell and the back parking lots felt a little shady. I would not go back but for the price it wasn’t bad.

The reason I chose poor is because I stay with Casey Key Resort (MAINLAND) quite a bit. When I have company in town I have them stay Casey Key Resort (MAINLAND) Everytime, every party. Well, when I reserved a room for myself this past time i didn't even get to stay! I reserved the room n checkin was at 4 n when I reached out to the resort via text to let them know I was running a bit late I was also gonna do my check-in. But I noticed my check-in was not retrievable so in my text not only did I mention I was running late but that I also needed them to resend a check- in link. The response I received was that my reservation was cancelled by the resort itself. I was appalled! N they were very short with me n when I asked why I got no response until the next day in which they told me I was banned n not allowed on the property. I have not ever been banned n I stayed there 2 nights in September n 2 nights in October n on both occasions seen and spoke with Mo the manager of the place so I was baffled n confused. Well, my response was very similar to what I am sending u now n when they got back to me in bout 10 mins they confirmed I WAS NOT BANNED! n I did get my money back thru Expedia but I was in no way compensated for mine n my companies trouble, all the resort offered me was 10% off my next stay n they had the audacity to ask me to reserve then for that same day! I'm appalled, I'm still quite angry with the situation n my company had a new born baby with them. Im not happy.

Our stay at Casey key Resorts was absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. We really appreciated the attention to detail and how comfortable everything felt. Highly recommend!

The pool area had used cups everywhere, and the sides of the pool had green algae. I can't comment on the food, because when we went to the lounge to order food, we were told there weren't enough employees to help us. I booked 2 nights through Expedia, and the special offer was $180 for 2 nights. Great! That's why I chose 2 nights. I was at the hotel for a total of 4 hours when unfortunately I had an unforeseen emergency and didn't even stay one night. I expected to pay $65 for the one night, because I did check in and went to my room. I spoke to the manager, he understood my issue, and said Expedia will refund the $65, the $50 pet fee, and the $100 hold will fall off. So I called Expedia, who said the hotel was responsible for the refund, back and forth back and forth. ln the end I was charged $180!! I opened a dispute with my credit card, gave them the necessary documents, and 3 months later the hotel finally responded and my dispute was denied. No explanation given. Yes I called the hotel ahead of time to confirm all the amenities (for pets as well) were available, and I was told yes. Unfortunately overall it was a big disappointment.

I booked this at the last minute through Expedia but was skeptical because the price was so good bui i was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and spacious. It wasn't anything extravagant but absolutely amazing for the price i got it at. P.s. 75 a night! I will definitely go back. The 20 dollar breakfast voucher was a nice touch as well!!

The room and staff at Casey key are excellent. I even happened to have an issue with my car battery and the staff were able to help me jump start the car

Room was always spotlessly cleaned. Enjoyed outdoor dining and bar service. Loved Octoberfest--delicious food. The restaurant server Doreen always had a ready smile and very accommodating. Our first four days at the hotel were so pleasant we extended our stay another 3 days.

We come there at least a few times a year for a quick get away from life. We live in Naples so it’s a quick trip there and back. We keep coming back because the experience is just what we need. Everything from Renee at the tiki bar, who is always so attentive to her sister who serves us in the restaurant. Both are amazing and kind! Rolph’s food is amazing and we never have to leave to eat! Thank you for continuing to give us this experience that we look forward to returning to in the future!

Watch your camera footage of me walking around your parking lots and property around midnight on Friday - Shower does not have access to turn faucet on to warm water before stepping in - WiFi went down in my room last night around 9pm - Connectivity issues in the room on iPhone T-Mobile - Missing breakfast voucher for today Your hotel isn’t set right for business travelers. Even on the leisure side I could have really used a jacuzzi after a grueling 12 hour day selling cigars Downtown Festival. Wish you the best. Some things can’t be fixed. I get it. You play the hand you are dealt with. I will say I slept very well. Bed was amazing. I guess that’s the only thing that matters to the weary!

My lamp didn’t work, and I asked for a bulb, but the maintenance man came and brought a bulb but it still didn’t work, so he brought me 2 nice new ones. It only took a few minutes.

The hotel is very private and quiet.had a room open to pool area and was not bothered by any noise.

Everything was good only complaint i habe was the one bartender at the Tikki bar the older lady was ignoring me and not giving me service but the other bartender the younger one notice it and came and took my orders. My family had a great stay! The quality of the gym was the best we’ve ever had at any property we’ve stayed at. Lots of machines and weights, a stretching room, and a view of the pool area. The coffee machine in the lobby makes a great cup of coffee with many options and syrups to add. We received a voucher for breakfast from the cafe there and got some scrumptious pancakes with fruit with it. The food at the tiki bar was amazing. I recommend the flounder tacos. Our bartender was really friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.

The stay was good along with services, just that the room we stayed has lots of humidity, even though there was an humidifier in the room. It keeps turning off and making noises. Hotel should check their ventilation system or install better humidifiers

Chef Rolf was overly full of himself, food was only okay for the most part. Although the tacos were amazing. Jacuzzi tub in the room had clearly been broken and known about, but still advertised. The seclusion was nice, and overall the suite was very nice. The tiki bar and pool area were nice as well. 3 and 1/2 stars based on how much it was and the service.

I was drawn to this resort because of the pool and location. I was somewhat disappointed that I couldn’t get a cot for my teenage son, and that breakfast was pretty expensive. I’m a cook, and appreciate great food, but there was nothing basic to order for kids. It was a nice stay, but we prefer continental breakfasts when traveling. I guess I mistook the word available for included.

The beds are not comfortable and the air conditioner 3 feet from the bed cycling on and off every 5 minutes all night was pretty awful.

Looked the pool. Only one elevator awkward as our room was on the other side of the building. Door in the back closer to our room was never locked allowing anyone access to the building, especially as it was in the back and unattended. In today's world where everyone is upping their security this is not acceptable. It is evident that upgrades are being done, but workmanship and eye for details are missing. Tiles set unevenly and cut to incorrect length in bathroom. Grout/caulking needs attention. Moulding is chipped and raw wood showing throughout the room. Took us a day to figure out how to work the TV. We accidentally turned the A/C unit off and took us 30 minutes to get it back on. We are intelligent and are up to date with our tech....this shouldn't have been this tough! Restaurant expensive for breakfast. We used our $20 coupon the first morning only. We had a delicious breakfast down the road at the breakfast cottage for less than the Mediocre meal we had WITH the $20 coupon. Overall a solid 3.

We had good food out there a few times. Then there's another bar and restaurant inside. The last time I stayed, we got the poolside king deluxe room and that was really nice, but the other ones were always nice and clean too. The poolside view was my favorite so far. I'd stay with them again when I'm back down there. It's got everything I like.

Will be the last time we stay there!! Few months prior we had to eat the cost due to a clients conflict and Casey was not willing to understand. So this time we choose to stay there…NEVER AGAIN!! From outside safety entrance door broken to mold in shower…sorry not a fan!!!! Just cause they bought an old Motel6 and renovated it with interior hurricane sliders and new pool area….no way….was told at front desk to be sure to use key fob to open door for access into the ‘upgraded pool view room’ and it was a warped and would not close! Hell no that was not the 1st day it was broke upon informing them! Halls were so warm it was like why would I go to a vending machine to buy anything! That said it all for this place!! Never again!

I'm simply giving the resort a 2 because I never stayed here. It may be a great place. What i do know is that i booked a room online two hours before arriving thinking it was the ocean location. When I arrived, I was told it was the inland location. They allowed me to cancel, said they would add a note for the manager that it was cancelled because I wasn't able to cancel the same day with booking company. I would need to call them. When i called online booking, they called the resort, and they declined a refund. I tried to contact them. I was forwarded to the "manager" to leave a message, but mailbox is full. Way too much trouble to get a refund for somewhere I never stayed. They lost no revenue from my booking mistake. Obviously i would never use them again. Good luck.

This was an amazing little find! It was very cozy! Staff was extremely nice! I booked through this app so I forgot to call because we have a support dog. It is pet friendly but they didn’t have any of those rooms available but they accommodated us anyway! Which we really appreciated because we had just loss my husbands support dog the day before. Definitely will stay here again!!

Excellent facilities very good staff treatment

This renovated motel has a nice pool area with quiet live music. The hotel staff was kind and the room very clean. We were there off-season and only one night so it was very calm. The pool was heated and towels provided by poolside. The room does not have carpet which I appreciate as it makes the room and air so much cleaner.

We had a free appetizer coupon which we could not eat because it was sitting so long. Bruschetta was awful. The resort could not figure out how to charge the food to the room because it was booked by another company so we had to pay separately. They insisted my credit card was at its limit. It is not really a resort, just an old place with a famous local chef. My husband’s birthday was a disappointment. Oh well…

The property was clean and room was nice. Should put up some Drapes. Other than the inside bartender and one wait staff member, the staff did not seem to want to be there. One staff member snapped at the other at breakfast, over the broken credit card machine. We had to ask for towels at the pool twice before getting them. I checked out early and staff never asked why. Property is nice buy need to train your staff better.

We were dissatisfied with the lack of cleanliness and organization of the apartment, we chose a hotel so as not to worry about cleaning and tidying up, the hotel does not offer this service and this was negative for us.

The restaurant lacked in service. Food was good but took a long time at dinner and even breakfast. The attentive Managers were able to resolve issues quickly and the overall communication with management was far better than any 4 or 5 store resort we’ve stayed in.

The Resort in a great location, very convenient to Siesta Key Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. At siesta key beach there’s quartz sand and it’s cool to your feet and feels like confectioners sugar or baby powder. The whole place has been recently remodeled. They have very comfortable NEW beds and no carpet, which is delightful to me. To me carpet is a big dust collector and dirt collector. It couldn’t have been a better stay. I do not drink alcohol, however, they have a bar set up outside at the pool area and at night time they serve dinner outside, if you like that. There’s great music playing ~mostly 70s music which was a blast for me because I was a teenager in the 70s! 😄 Amy at the front desk was especially friendly and I enjoyed our chatter, Again, all of the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It’s in a great location near restaurants shopping 1 mile up the road is a Publix to get items you might need. Like the stars I put for this property, overall excellence!
