I did not need to take advantage of the breakfast, but the person at the counter was nice and allowed me to grab a glass of orange juice past the time. The location is excellent, right by everything. The pool was great! We didn't realize that you need to let them know if you want them to change your sheets -- we were there 3 nights and had the same sheets the whole time.

Our kids & I loved the place!
- 4/5
The room was clean however very dated.I believe I read rustic. If rustic is another wood for dated is is then rustic. Not a $250.00 a night stay.

A cute lobby. This was a very clean and quiet hotel. The staff were very friendly to me. Would highly recommend!

Fast check in, clean, plenty offered for breakfast. Good coffee.

The air conditioning was in adequate for the size of the suite. When checking out I rang the bell at the main desk and no one appeared. I went down for breakfast 15 minutes before closing and there were very few if any at all choices while the staff sat a table waiting to clean up.

Breakfast was subpar, wouldn’t even call it breakfast. Room and shower were dirty and the smell gave me a headache. Bed and pillows were hard as a rock, sauna was used as a storage room, pool was a green blue color, staff was rude and not helpful at all!

Staff was less than kind, hotel room was not clean, breakfast not great. The hotel is super outdated overall. We got a deluxe room with a kitchenette and there were no utensils, just overall disappointing. SUPER overpriced if I’m honest.

The hotel was convenient to wear our venue was There was no soap for washing hands one roll of toilet paper and no Kleenex. The breakfast waffle and pancake machine wasn't working either could be a little bit more for a breakfast especially when you have people dancing all day

We went on to the visitation at 2:00, left early, arrived back at the Hotel at 3:15. She told us the rooms are first come first serve. When we got there, there was no parking. How does a parking lot get full in 15 minutes from check in time? We were the 3rd couple in line. She was on the phone. No one to help. The rooms are totally outdated with pine furniture that look homemade. The room smelled like Clorox or bleach from the towels and bedding. Love the crisp sheets. The curtains were sun rotted. There were tears in the fabric. That's ok. Everything was clean. Carpet pretty clean. I wore soaks. The toilets are maybe 14" and no bars to hold on to!! Maybe an accessible room would work. We have stayed there before. It's convenient to everything. Maybe it might not have been such a tense start if I had not spoken to this person 3 times. There was no clarity with her. And going to a visitation doesn't help the nerves. Yes we will stay again but next time I will ask for Mr. Patel.

The staff is really nice. And once I entered the room, everything was clean now and made me to perfection. The soaps in the bathroom, unfortunately, we're not great they made My skin dry out really bad.
- 3.5/5
Nice and clean Used to have hot breakfast selections and not it is just pancakes for hot selection
- 5/5
Great service, breakfast was delicious, room was super clean and roomy. Loved the vibe of the hotel and I'd definitely go back in a heartbeat!!!
- 5/5
Nothing.
- 5/5
Excellent staff & place. Nothing
- 4.5/5
The location was good for what we were in town for. The price of the room was very reasonable. Hotel as a whole seemed very clean and allowed dogs. The breakfast food was very limited. No eggs or meat even though guest book and website said that there would be. $50/night for a pet is a little steep in my opinion since hotel staff does nothing relating to my dog. It is a Doodle and doors not shed and we pick up after when taken outside!
- 4/5
I liked the decor-rustic style. The pool was nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. Was very clean. The TV was not working, so for the next day we could switch rooms and we got the room right next door. Also I requested an end room because I have twin sons with autism who can get loud and we were given that. Loved the coffee! Also liked the having the 3 pumps for shampoo, conditioner and soap for shower-really great! So much better than the small bars of soap and small bottles of shampoo you usually get! Cant think of anything

The location is very good. The furniture shows some wear in particular, the chair in my room has seen better days. It was somewhat on the dirty side. The cable could be better with regards to channel selection.
- 1.5/5
Location was fine. Food selection was weak.

Love this is place. Only place that I stay at when in Owsego, il. Nothing
- 3.5/5
The facility itself, reception area was beautiful. The outside was clean and tidy. No garbage laying around. Hallways were free from clutter. Carpet was clean, as well as the rooms. The rooms were clean, but they were very uncomfortable beds and pillows. The pillow was actually hard. The mattress's weren't much better. I paid for the hotel online. When I arrived for the check in, they advised that I needed to present my card for them to have a hard copy of it. I paid it online and was not expecting to need my actual card in hand. I have that information on my phone. Therefore, I did not bring it. I had to pay cash for my room instead and cash for my deposit. It literally was all the cash I had on me and had to use some change. So, was disappointed in that. Accepted the fact that I needed to leave a cash deposit for them to inspect the room before we let. But in today's world, I would think they would have the ability to use apple pay. Especially when I paid for the room when booking it. The free breakfast was kind of a problem. The only hot thing they had was a waffle maker, which is fine. But there was no batter to make a waffle. This was at 0800. Surprised me that it was empty at that time. Received the batter from the receptionist and made our waffles. All well and good, except then the syrup was out. The coffee pots were empty. It just was not kept up on. But when it is the person that is checking customers in and out it was kind of difficult for her. The final thing was, again the poor reception girl, had to clean up someone's mess they made with the waffle makers. Only one of them was working and someone put batter in the one that was turned off. I agree, it was a mess. Her anger was very apparent. She started banging things around, complaining pulled the garbage out and had it sitting in the middle of the floor. It was just a mess, and I completely understand her frustration. However, it is not a very good impression to give to customers that were trying to eat breakfast.
- 1.5/5
When we got to our room one of the beds was not made and obviously slept in. Our key cards wouldn’t work even after they gave us 2 new ones. The pool closed early both night we were there and opened late so we could swim as we were gone during the day. The sauna was used as a storage closet so couldn’t use that either. Breakfast was mediocre.
- 3/5
Great price but old and outdated
- 3/5
Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was VERY limited. No eggs or meat. Packaged bakery items. Other bakery dry, seemingly stale. Mealy apples only fresh fruit option. Plastic utensils. No sauna or spa. $50 DAILY extra fee for 8lb dog.
- 3/5
It was a great experience, but I just thought it was odd that there was a room ready but we weren’t permitted to check in at 2pm without paying an extra $40. I’ve never experienced that before at a hotel and I’m not sure if that is a local policy or if it’s just something this hotel chain does. There are many times that we show up at hotels exhausted from a long trip and they will just allow us in if a room is just waiting and sitting there. This was our first time at this hotel chain and I would be less inclined to book there if that is a general policy. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Clean fast check in/out
- 5/5
Second time at this facility. Will likely return.
- 5/5
Nice staff, easy to find
- 4/5
We were intown for a wedding at Northfolk farms. This hotel is dated, but quiet and in a great location. Our shower did back up a bit, and there isn't a fan for the bathroom. But the room was spacious, and it was nice to have windows that opened for fresh air. We didn’t make it to breakfast (6am-9am), but there is a breakfast place walking distance that was good.
- 5/5
Very Friendly People. Great value
- 1/5
Pet charge is a joke, $200 for an 8lb and 12lb dogs for two nights. Pillows were rock hard and mattress wasn't much better. Carpeting in room was gross. Breakfast was basically stuff from vending machines. We actually left the night before checkout just to get out of there.
- 5/5
Room was fine. Pool was great
- 5/5
Jessica at the desk was very nice and the room was comfy
- 4/5
very decent place. i was in the pool--that was awesome. will be back soon.
- 3/5
Con: Website describes 'full breakfast' and 'eggs and bacon'. The actual breakfast is several versions of cereal, muffins, waffles/pancakes, coffee. Fruit was only apples, no bananas or other. I'm diabetic and married to an absolute egg lover. We were forced to spend more money elsewhere, seems like a ripoff. Tea option was the cheapest crap you could buy, and not available in the room at all. Shower curtain was very short, needed to be wet to stay inside the tub.
- 2/5
I have stayed here years ago and was disappointed with this stay. There was lots of dog waste in the surrounding grass area of the parking lot. The room had no working fan in the bathroom, a light fixture was broken and a bulb burned out. No sound proofing at all. Can hear the person snoring in the next room. Only thing hot for breakfast were pancakes you cook yourself. A budget hotel at best. Not worth the nightly cost.
- 2/5
When taking a "clean" towel off the rack to shower, an empty, sample sized alcohol bottle fell out of the towel. When trying to use the pool, it looked like it had not been cleaned in a week. There was stuff floating all through the water and a fist sized hairball with the gel from inside a diaper mixed in.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and welcoming. Pool was excellent
- 3/5
The staff at the front desk was friendly and informative and the room was clean. The bed was extremely hard and pillows were very lumpy. No grab bar for the shower/tub. Seems to be older. Breakfast was average. No hot foods except waffles. Stayed 3 nights and in general no housekeeping. Did get new towels the night before we left and garbage and clean.
- 5/5
Super size room, reasonably priced, refrigerator and microwave
- 5/5
The place was clean and quiet
- 4/5
It was hard to believe that there was no vent fan in the bathroom. Not family friendly
- 1/5
This hotel is awful! The hallways smell strongly of febreeze or something else to cover the smell. The room smelled of mildew and was very damp. We never could get it to cool off. There was mildew on the ceiling in the shower. The website says hot breakfast including waffles, eggs, sausage and more. There was not sausage or eggs or any other non-carb item. The pool closed early the night we were there and that was the only reason we booked this hotel. The workout room consisted of a treadmill and elliptical and that was it. Someone else I passed in the hallway asked if our room smelled because theirs smelled like smoke and had a smoke detector that had been tampered with. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in.
- 3/5
Staff was great. There was a young lady who was very friendly. But the room we got put in was terrible. They did move us to a upgrade which was exò
- 5/5
Quiet clean and the staff is more than helpful
- 5/5
Felt very woodsy, rustic. It was great
- 4/5
The room was comfortable. Seems to be older. Pool was decent...saltwater. Breakfast was average. No hot foods except waffles.
- 3/5
From here on I will call them to on the stay, and not with you'll. If I wanted to cancel my reservation, they will let you do so with charging you!!!!!
- 5/5
Your staff were friendly and helpful!! Everything was very clean and maintained I was actually impressed! And the morning breakfast was perfect!
- 5/5
Nice clean place with an excellent breakfast. The room was clean and large, and the place was relatively quiet. Jess at the front desk made for an easy check in experience and was able to answer all of my questions and well as gave me some good tips for nearby activities. I will absolutely be back here!
- 3/5
This hotel met our family needs for one evening. It wasn't as pricey as others in the area so that was nice. However, our room smelled like smoke so that was annoying. The breakfast options weren't the best. There wasn't a hot food station and the muffins were stale. Coffee and juice were ok. The beds were comfy and seemed clean. The bathroom was clean. We will stay again out of convenience but just know that the food options aren't the greatest.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 3/5
The property itself was beautiful. The esthetics were nice. Unfortunately, our TV didn't work and the carpet could of used a vacuum. The beds were good and it was super quiet. Overall good experience.
- 3/5
Just okay
- 5/5
It had a fabulous breakfast and the room was amazing
- 5/5
What really impressed us was that the management gave their work staff Christmas Day off. We did not have maid service that day but that was fine. We were told ahead of time and we could easily make arrangements. The management really deserves kudos. We were celebrating with family and I am sure those who had the day off were able to enjoy that also.
- 5/5
Love the quiet and surrounding restaurants.
- 4/5
Stayed here many times, always good. Just wondering why I can’t receive points for Wyndham just because it was booked thru Expedia, it’s still Wyndham
- 5/5
The staff was really helpful and nice
- 5/5
Our stay was great only complaint is the beds are very u comfortable. Besides that staff was friendly hotel was very clean.
- 5/5
Clean, good-sized room. Desk/table, comfortable chair. Good internet connection. Large (50"?) TV with cable, but some channels had rather week picture - snowy. Very good-sized indoor pool. Very friendly and helpful staff - Ellie and a man who might be the proprietor. A couple blocks off US 34 - very little traffic noise.
- 5/5
Bed and pillows were superb. Everything was clean and welcoming. We will stay here again in the future.
- 5/5
Nice clean up to date nice pool good breakfast
- 5/5
Great service.
- 5/5
My room was nice & the staff was very helpful and friendly. I also liked that the fridge & the AC in the room was already running and cold. The only thing I would change is I wish there was a full sized mirror in the room. If I’m in the area again I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
First time in a long time we stayed at a place with no slamming doors or loud voices or noise .Beautiful inside and out and very clean. Staff was very nice....Overall our 3 night stay was awesome!
- 5/5
Wonderful outdoor decor Lots of wood and stone in the lobby And in my room
- 4/5
What I did not like was the room with double beds when I booked a king size bed.
- 5/5
Great hotel, nice staff & fun pool
- 5/5
Room was clean. Location is close to many restaurants. I did not use the pool. Breakfast was what I was expecting: bagels, muffins, cereal, and a machine that made little pancakes. I do wish that had some outside seating. The lobby was nice with the fireplace and couches. Check in and check out was very easy
- 4/5
Everything is good

It was good

I was traveling with my Chihuahua, Dolly, and we had a very good experience at the hotel. Everything was fine.
- 5/5
Always stay here when we come in town to visit family. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Pool is a great amenity for the kids to use. Breakfast has a variety of options.

- 4/5
A cute, rustic place. Staff was Excellent! The pool was warm, so 5 stars on that. Our only complaint was the pillows. Stuffed with lumpy foam. Very uncomfortable. Also, missed having eggs and potatoes and bacon or sausage and waffles in the morning. They had a pancake machine but pancakes were flat and tiny.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was not at all friendly or helpful..Small T V in the room, poor channel selection, VERY outdated!! Would not stay there again if had a option..
- 3/5
The experience was mixed. Housekeeping was inconsistent with what they published. The pool was warm, but towels were scarce. Breakfast was limited continental with pancakes. Given the rankings I was expecting more. I'm leaving this ranking to lower expectations of those that follow.
- 5/5
Quite attractive, Clean and functional.
- 5/5
Hotel was nice and clean. Front desk staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only downfall...housekeepers talking loudly in hallway early in the morning, and wish they'd extend breakfast at least till 10.
- 5/5
Nice hotel!
- 4/5
The room and the staff were excellent. I was very disappointed with the breakfast in that it did not have a hot entree to enjoy.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Loved the decor.
- 3/5
Very clean. Has potential for charm. Curtains were old and had holes and bathtub had a crack. There was no hot tub despite the signs on the door and directing to the pool area listing it as a “pool, spa, and sauna” very misleading there was no hot tub or sauna
- 5/5
This is the 2nd time in 2 months I have stayed here and everything has been great. My only complaint is the air freshener in the hallways and lobby are very overbearing...but otherwise everything is great
- 5/5
I had an issue because I lost my card and was unable to check in, but the staff was very patient and help me work out my issue along with Hotels.com. They were very understanding and considerate. Also, they made me feel welcome and accommodated me my entire visit. Beds were super comfortable, and the water in the shower was the perfect temperature. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good.
- 3/5
It was okay - we didn't have to be there long, so it worked fine for our needs. But it definitely needs some updates. Our fridge was not working and wouldn't even stay closed. The mattress had a significant dip in it. And generally things are just dated. But that said, it was really fine and I recommend it if you can get a good price.
- 5/5
I've visited other Wyndham properties and they are all very clean, well cared-for, staff is friendly, and I would definitely stay at another Wyndham property in the future.
- 1/5
Bad
- 4/5
We were disappointed that the breakfast didn’t return to the choices we used to get before the Covid pandemic. I also feel better pillows could be provided.
- 5/5
Good value
- 4/5
Not bad, of course won’t clean room daily, the breakfast was pretty sad.
- 4/5
We arrived too early to check in. But the Manager told us to come back around 1:00. Check in is 3:00. It worked out. We had a Visitation at 4:00. We had to get cleaned up.
- 4/5
Close to the area we were going to visit
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
It was lovely. We had plenty od room, and we were welcomed by the staff. We were not rushed out of our room, nor hassled about turnover, very laid back. We enjoyed our stay, thankyou!
- 5/5
Incredibly helpful staff
- 4/5
Fun front staff. Only real downside was the odor from the ac unit. Didn't stay long enough for breakfast.
- 5/5
Always clean and friendly. Bar and good food across the street. Quiet. I stay here every time I’m going to be in the area. Staff is always welcoming. All around great place.
- 3/5
The rooms were overpiced. Hard, cheap mattresses. Not worth the money.
- 4/5
Really clean and nice place to stay
- 3/5
The hallways smelled liked onions or something. The rooms were musty smelling but very clean. Staff were all very nice.
- 3/5
Depressing decor. Room was not serviced. Did not expect linens to be changed, but trash was not emptied and no clean towels.
- 4/5
PET OWNERS BEWARE - Despite searching for a pet friendly hotel, we got surprised by a $50 per dog per night charge upon checkin.
- 4/5
The only thing I wish would have been different if there was an ice machine somewhere besides the main floor by the front desk.
- 1/5
The Site Lied to us, it states that they were to sure full breakfast the only thing they had there was this small pancake machine, fruit and cerial and thats it. I was expecting to get up, have breakfast and go to work instead I had to fly around to get breakfast and make it to my work on time. I will NEVER< EVER stay at a Americinn again, this happened to me one other place so if they are goino to false advertise I won't stay with them again and I'm a Gold member at Hotels.com and planning on staying around 60 nights the rest of the year in hotels.
- 4/5
The room atmosphere was a little damp/humid, even with the AC on.
- 2/5
This hotel is TERRIBLE. Do not stay here. It needs updating both aesthetically and technology. Rooms are overpriced for the area. The hotel manager does not care about any issues you may have. Our son (who traveled by air from another state) booked the hotel for two nights for a wedding. In error, hotel only booked him for one night. They wanted him to vacate the room as hotel was totally booked. After much discussion, he was told he could stay in the room but hotel wanted to charge him double for the extra night. My son works for the government but the hotel manager would not honor the government per diem. Manager was not on premise and would not even talk to us by phone. My other son's room had a terrible odor. There was even an air purifier in his room. When he complained, he was told to call the hotel the next week in order to talk to the manager. Upon doing do, because my son had booked his room through Expedia, there was nothing the hotel was willing/or could do to compensate him for his stay. Terrible customer relations and service when the hotel manager will not talk to you directly in order to resolve an issue.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Very nice
- 2/5
It was noisy and a lot of drunk people. Hard to get any rest
- 1/5
Need better customer service especially the older guy at the front desk
- 4/5
I was just expecting more for breakfast, other than cold cereal, oatmeal, packets, toast, and muffins.
- 3/5
The room wasn't cleaned daily (noted at front desk). They wifi was spotty. A bed bug was found in one of our bags.
- 2/5
The hotel was clean and quiet. However, the bed was the hardest mattress we’ve EVER TRIED to sleep on and the pillows were thick and lumpy; I woke up with a severe neck ache. The toilet leaked and the bathtub did not hold water. The breakfast should be listed as continental. There were no low carb or proteins offered. If you are diabetic or on any type of diet there was nothing to eat other than a bowl of apples. Will not stay there again!
- 4/5
Property was nice. Downside to it being by a busy road since we couldn't get the A/C to work so we had to open the window and listen to traffic
- 4/5
AmericInn was decent. Only complaint was the pancake maker was broken. Room was comfortable.
- 4/5
Very private. Quiet. Wished the breakfast had more hot food offered. Had to ask for muffins and coffee as they were out. Limited staff to handle the breakfast but understood Day after Thanksgiving .
- 5/5
Property very nicely kept, rooms clean, staff friendly! Definitely will stay again when back in town!
- 5/5
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. There are restaurants and shopping close.
- 3/5
The area around the hotel is nice. It’s in a good location. The hotel is ok. We did have a few stains on our sheets though, and we could not control the air conditioner, and the breakfast was a little disappointing. They had no bacon, eggs, or sausage. But the staff was nice, and the room in all was not bad. We had a microwave and refrigerator that was a plus. I think the price is too high for the room. The price does not fit the room.
- 3/5
They need to fix the shower curtains
- 4/5
The breakfast was much. Otherwise the hotel was really good.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, helpful- that seems so rare these days. The young lady when we checked in joked with us and was so welcoming, especially!
- 1/5
People firing, banging doors, trying to open our doors. It was a nightmare to stay in this hotel. Can you refund some of the money that we paid ?
- 4/5
Overall, a good stay. It did list a full breakfast but it wasn't. It was clean and quiet. I would stay again.
- 5/5
This is a nice hotel. Thanks
- 2/5
I considered sleeping in the car, instead. I want to share this feedback in hopes of improvement: I booked a last minute hotel for my daughter and I for her sporting event and expected my $250 rate could at least provide me with a comfortable and clean hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. We arrived two hours after the check-in time of 3pm, only to be told our room was not ready! It would not be ready until 5:30pm! When we finally got to our room and decided to try the hot tub, not only did the jets not work, but the tub would not drain!! I called front desk, thinking that a tub full of water should not be and they were not concerned and said they could check on it tomorrow, unless I really wanted them to check it that evening (we did not). Then when it was bedtime, I noticed the middle comforter had yellow stains!! It was too late to call for a change, but I had a hard time sleeping, thinking about those stains. When it was morning, I thought, finally, we will get our money's worth with the breakfast but were again disappointed with the limited and sparse items. Will not be using this chain again.
- 2/5
Lady was rude upon check in, couldnt use pool because British Swim school was having lessons in pool, and bathroom had mold stain in shower and carpet was dirty
- 1/5
Breakfast was appalling, common fresh milk being rationed ... like a gallon for all residents, no protein source. Pool cleanliness questionable, customer service suboptimal. Will jot recommend to anyone
- 5/5
The management was friendly and professional. They consistently worked hard to ensure the clients had all the amenities they advertised. The room was spacious and clean.

Being a Wyndham property, it was a little disappointing ... the first night's room was awful; very worn (which made it feel like it wasn't feel very clean), tub looked like it had a lot of corrosion and it wouldn't drain properly, walls were paper thin (VERY loud and obnoxious neighbors that carried on until 4a) but after communicating this to the manager, they kindly changed my room, which was cleaner and in better condition. Wi-fi was very iffy, sometimes it worked but mostly not. 'Full' Breakfast was a bad joke; stale breads and cereals, very limited pastries/muffins, nothing as described (maybe better on weekends?). Thankfully, there was a breakfast diner and a restaurant (for lunch & dinner) close by that served good food. Evening staff was hard to locate and very abrupt, kinda cranky. Over all, it was fairly close to where I needed to be.

Our room was never cleaned in four days. We had a suite and the lights in the rooms were very dim. The breakfast they offered was the worst we have ever had. Basically two kinds of cereal, horrible tasting pancakes and toast. The review prior to us staying there was 4.1 out of 5. We would give this hotel 2.5 to 3.

This hotel was in a nice area, however we were highly disappointed in the room, the shower, and the lack of breakfast. The walls in the room were paper thin. The shower curtain was on an angle and didn't stay closed, and because the hotel was under construction (not sure where) they did not have a breakfast. What made that even worse is there was no communication about it at check in. The book in the room said there was breakfast from 6:30-9:30 but when we went to go eat at 8:00 am there wasn't any food! I had to ring the front desk and they offered cold cereal that they kept behind the desk. This was highly disappointing since we were in town for a dance competition and we didn't have enough time to go anywhere but to get fast food. I think this hotel should update their website and also communicate the lack of breakfast at checkin. I will not stay here again!

Phone didn’t work, so no wake up call. Sink was clogged, said free breakfast but there was none. Only coffee.

I paid 200.00 to stay in a room from 11pm until 7:30am due to a domestic issue at home with my 10 yr old daughter and my small dog. The lady at the front desk gave the two ladies in front of us a room on the first floor. I have bad hips and requested the first floor as well. She refused and made us go to the 3rd floor. When I asked if there was at least an elevator she responded in a nasty way saying well yes there is. So once we got to our room my small dog found dried up sushi on the floor. I picked it up several different times. That is gross. Not worth 200.00. I’m just happy my dog didn’t get sick from it.

Good location. Pool was nice. No breakfast that was advertised! New carpet and nice sized clean room. Beds seemed 'hard', an no comfortable chair in room, only hard wooden chairs.

They had roaches

The room and common areas were very clean. But the website and the TV welcome page advertised that breakfast was available (the TV welcome page specified 6 to 10 am). However, only coffee and tea were available and I was not made aware that breakfast had been cancelled, or why (I assume due to COVID?). Even having whole fruit and packaged energy bars would have been helpful, given that I was counting on getting something on my way out the door in the morning.

Visited for weekend getaway and was not disappointed. The inn is walking distance from dining options and is near the metra train station

Room was very clean my only issue was the bed and pillows. Bed was hard and pillows were flat. But front desk was nice enough to give us more.

There was no mention of no breakfast available. Had to constantly ask questions when it could have been explained at check-in. First day, had no service so had two days of trash and had to get linen from front desk. Next day, came back with nothing done to room when they were in the next room when we left and saw us leave so had to take my dog for a long walk so as not to bother them when they finally made it to our room.

This is the second time we have stayed at the AmericInn in Oswego. Just as before , service was great and rooms comfortable.
