Very friendly staff. Enjoyed Caroline’s restaurant.

It’s a very nice and clean facility. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Unique location in a pretty little valley with vineyards and fruit trees. Very attractive lobby, lounge, and bar. Complimentary Wine tasting in evening. Two restaurants. We ordered food from the bar menu and it was very good. The breakfast buffet was expectational! Upstairs room was comfortable with a vineyard view. The management should be more aware of people sneaking their dogs into the hotel. You can access your rooms from an entrance away from the main lobby. Twice we saw people taking their dogs into rooms on the second floor where pets are not allowed. We reported it to the management and they thanked us.
- 5/5
The complimentary wine reception was a lovely touch, made even better by Laura's warm and attentive service. Dinner at the Tapestry Lounge was a highlight as well — our server Juan was exceptional, going above and beyond to make the meal memorable. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. We left feeling genuinely refreshed. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing, wine-country getaway.

The night we stayed was wonderful!
- 5/5
Great room and clean.. The restaurant was amazing and the hot tub and pool were great as well.
- 5/5
I had an issue with my girlfriend who I got pushed into sharing a bad wood by my other girlfriend LST the front desk staff at three in the morning Katie was excellent to help me get into another room because I was not sleeping. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic stay and don’t miss the wine between 4 PM and six I think.
- 5/5
Charming location! Room was very clean & the staff both personable & friendly. Property overall might feel a little dated but I nevertheless recommend.
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Breakfast is fantastic. When we were due to check out, a huge accident closed the freeway and we were “stuck” in town, the staff offered us a late check out and to hang out by the pool until the freeway re-opened. It was an additional 5 hours and we had a blast at the pool, everyone was so nice and welcoming. This was my second stay here and will continue to book!
- 3.5/5
Beautiful area The TV was out which would have been nice to know at check in.
- 5/5
Room we're big and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was huge, eggs, banana foster, ham lots of sweets and fruit, juice coffee and some teas. Very happy with the breakfast.
- 5/5
Very quiet despite being near I-70! Our view faced north so the view of the buttes was incredible! Staff were super friendly. Chose The Tapestry for dinner and it was excellent with 1 server who managed all the tables and requests w/ ease. Tasted a couple local wines that also “held their own”. Thank you Wine Country Inn!!

We loved this hotel! The staff was absolutely spectacular, the breakfast included was so delicious, the grounds were perfectly landscaped, the rooms were so clean and it was so quiet. They offer a free wine happy hour which was amazing. The pool was warm and inviting. Definitely will be back.

This was a nice stay. The bartender was helpful and the food in Tapestry was tasty. Front desk staff at checkout were friendly. The spa was not as hot as we like and would have preferred it to have been adults only as kids were playing in it.

Disappointed ☹️ with housekeeping for not giving us clean wine glasses and not putting Kleenex box in its slot. Left dirty plastic cups out instead of removing.

Breakfast menu was OK. The ham tasted like chemicals. I eat a low sugar very healthy diet and there were few appropriate items.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent.
- 4/5
Nice setting. Just a slightly dated. A couple staff people were just a little short.
- 4/5
This was our second stay. We enjoy the vineyard setting and grounds. Our TV/cable did not work, but the staff was very helpful in trying to resolve this problem. We will be back!
- 5/5
This hotel exceeded expectations; room was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were well landscaped and maintained, creating an inviting atmosphere. Will stay here again
- 3/5
It was the off season so I was the only person there
- 5/5
Very nice property. Great location.

Love this place. Nice property which includes a happy hour and excellent breakfast.
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, beautiful setting, wonderful breakfast, will be back again.
- 5/5
I had a great stay, the staff was very friendly. The place was just gorgeous and well cared for. I highly recommend this place!
- 5/5
Breakfast menu was fresh and enough variety. Very friendly staff, location and the views of the mountains. Vineyards were just starting to show the new grape bunches. The swimming pool surrounded by trees, plants and rose bushes 😍
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, happy hour and complementary wine tasting was nice
- 4/5
Restaurants convenient. Advertised wine tasting but just gave a glass of wine of their choosing.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are very clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff is friendly and greets you as you walk by. The free breakfast is above standard. I used the fitness center and it is small but very functional. I also used the laundry facilities and both washer and dryer worked well and were reasonably priced. The happy hour was great and we enjoyed a nice dinner in the Tapestry lounge. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Good stay!
- 5/5
A little distance away from many activities or town.
- 5/5
Above and beyond - on all aspects of our stay
- 5/5
Our end of April stay was definitely off season and the property was calm and slow. The staff was excellent, very friendly and efficient. The afternoon complimentary glass of wine was very nice, we even enjoyed ours in the hot tub one afternoon. We booked through Expedia and felt the value was excellent at just over five hundred dollars for three nights including taxes and fees. We were able to walk to the pizza restaurant adjoining the property one night, drive just a couple of miles to a fun Mexican restaurant in Palisade the second night and eat in the tavern at the property the last night. All were excellent. Less than perfect was the fact that housekeeping failed to clean our room one day and the very mediocre breakfast. Very similar to a chain hotel breakfast with reconstituted eggs etc. We figured this to be due to it being off season so we just went out for breakfast. All in all though definitely overall a five star rating. Thank you Wine Country Inn.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel grounds with a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub. Every evening there’s a happy hour and free glass of wine from their winery. Short walk to downtown Palisades and local restaurants. Staff is friendly and seem to enjoy working at the hotel. Free hot breakfast has fresh fruit and eggs. My one small complaint is the beds are hard and not very comfortable.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great!! Plenty of chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine!
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and the beds are very comfortable.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Great location, central to everything in Palisade. Staff was friendly and facilities clean.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in scenic Palisade, CO
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay. When visiting our daughter again this will be our place to stay.
- 5/5
Love the dog friendly aspect. Pretty quiet room considering. Comfortable beds but not queens, felt like doubles. Pool and hot tub nice, and loved the porches and rocking chairs. Good breakfast. Appreciated the juice and hot chocolate were always available. Great location, we brought our ebikes and biked to downtown and wineries. Even walked to the Peach Shack where they have great peach soft serve and lattes and honies and jams, including pup cups. Would return!
- 5/5
Wondeeful place
- 5/5
Just a gem! You must go. Excellent restaurant on site.
- 3/5
Food was mediocre
- 5/5
If you get a chance to be blessed to stay at this beautiful place do not hesitate! View Of Mountains while dining Breathtaking! Every thing about it good tv shows to choose from! Breakfast best bacon ever! Last but not least the wine you get a chance to drink AMAZING!
- 5/5
Great location. Loved being able to go out to dinner close by, get ice cream, wine tasting and hike Mt Garfield. Basic room, but comfortable. Pool was great to have, wish the hot tub was working. Good breakfast, not made to order, but good.. needs more options for kids though. Love the glass of wine upon arrival!
- 5/5
So quiet and comfortable. Staff is great as is the breakfast and wine tasting.
- 5/5
This is our 2nd return stay at WCI in 8 weeks. We celebrated my wife's birthday then, and returned to celebrate my birthday on this trip. It was equally as enjoyable this time. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly. The Tapestry host Juan remembered us from our previous visit. He remaines personable, efficient, and attentive. We appreciate the evening wine reception. The provided breakfast is appreciated. We have enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of the wci. The price is reasonable, we will return.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The wine tasting was a nice touch and the heated pool looked so inviting!
- 5/5
If you're in the area and choosing a hotel, this is the one! Although the room furniture is dated, the bed is extremely comfortable and the room is large. The breakfast looked amazing! Have to say that (and i travel consistently) this place is a clean as humanly possible. This staff has pride!
- 5/5
lovely stay in palisade, CO. Charming hotel, nicely done and not like the chain properties. easy to get to and close to the many winery and vineyards in the area.
- 5/5
This was my second stay at this hotel and I think it's just lovely, so I hesitate to say anything negative, but they claim to have soundproof rooms but our room was incredibly noisy. You could hear everything from the nearby and overhead rooms. Just a heads up if that is a priority for you. Also, the breakfast was not very good, and they were out of two of the six hot foods they offered on the buffet. But the building, property, and staff are great and in a beautiful location.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel staff & happy hour bartender. Evening wine tasting was a pleasant treat after a long car drive.
- 5/5
Great place to stay with a dog ( especially in winter) because dog can eat dinner with us in 2nd dining area
- 3/5
Stayed twice for a ski event. Staff did not like kids. Staff promised an early breakfast but didn’t follow through leaving dozens of ski families to wait.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable rooms and property. Outstanding breakfast.
- 5/5
This hotel is right next to the highway, but it does not seem to be an issue as the rooms look over the pool or towards town. The only issue we had was that the breakfast room is quite small for the size of the hotel. Staff was great and we enjoyed out time there.
- 3/5
Room was ok, a little run dow, but bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful
- 5/5
Friendly staff, comfortable, very clean room with plenty of space. We love the on-site restaurants, great breakfast, and enjoy the hot tub. We enjoy walking next to the vineyards. Very pet friendly.
- 5/5
Really nice property and nice rooms
- 5/5
Great breakfast & clean room.
- 5/5
Wonderful food and wine. Loved the happy hour apps...cauliflower and calamari were delicious. Dinner was equally tasty and the wine flight and chocolate cherry dessert wine was literally the cherry on top. The room was spacious and spotless. Great old world feeling. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
The property is in impeccable condition, the room was spotless, the staff are very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in their Tapestry room. Juan was our host, he was excellent, and his wine pairing with our dinner was spot on. Well done to all at WCI, we look forward to our next visit.
- 5/5
Very well kept hotel overall. Everything is spotless and comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice approach to the hotel through a vineyard then on to a beautiful and well kept entrance. The front desk was quick, pleasant, and friendly. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We had a great breakfast that was cooked to order.
- 5/5
Updated our room so that it would be easier for me to navigate since I was recovering from surgery. Staff was very helpful and pleasant, room was beautifully cleaned.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great breakfast!
- 5/5
Off season, so it was especially quiet which was nice. Evening wine reception and an excellent breakfast buffet with “to order” omelettes.
- 3/5
It's a stop-through hotel along the 70. Vineyards on site, neat if you're into that. The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. Couldn't get our Netflix to work because it requires Internet and the TV wouldn't connect. The gent making omelettes at breakfast was super nice!
- 4/5
Good variety at breakfast but nowhere to sit if two large groups took over the two large tables
- 5/5
Delish breakfast and room very clean. We live in Ridgway Co and will be staying here again!
- 5/5
Great location, excellent accommodations, and staff is very friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was excellent and we will definitely stay there in the future.
- 5/5
This place was amazing from check in to check out. The breakfast was great and the wine was amazing. Definitely will return, especially in the spring or summer
- 5/5
All was great
- 5/5
Beautiful location. Walkable.
- 3/5
Room was ok. Beautiful views and location.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Second time staying and it’s great. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, complimentary happy hour drink, hot tub and great breakfast. We stay here so we can have dinner at our favorite restaurant in Palisade, Pêche. It’s the perfect pair!
- 5/5
Great views
- 5/5
convenient to stay while wine tasting. Comfortable

Everyone was extremely helpful and nice.

- 4/5
Room clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Decor could be updated, especially in the bathrooms, but a very pleasant overall experience.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and always a great place to stay!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast omelette was excellent although a few more items like scrambled eggs or French toast would have been nice.
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Attentive staff.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Close to the freeway, restaurant in house, rooms were great. Located in a real vineyard. Wines were amazing.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay while wine tasting
- 5/5
Beautiful property in the middle of a vineyard and associated winery. Excellent dining options on site. Great views of rocky mesas and the Grand Valley of the Colorado River.
- 5/5
Our stay was excellent! On the first night, the staff offered to take our luggage to our room. Another member of the staff talked to us for about 10 minutes, recommending great wineries and other local things to do. For a free breakfast, it was delicious. Overall, the property was clean and beautiful and the staff was friendly and fantastic
- 3/5
Restaurants overrated, expensive and no good quality wise. Also their wines aren’t comparable in any way to anything that comes out of California even.
- 5/5
Loved the educational vineyard rows and free opportunity to sample several grape varieties
- 5/5
Loved the location in the midst of a vineyard. Great pool!!
- 5/5
We loved the location near the wineries. Great place to stay!!
- 5/5
We stay there each year on our migration to Arizona from Nebraska. It’s our go to place when I’m that area.
- 4/5
The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew was a little light staffed as they could not keep up with the rush (no coffee!). Breakfast food was just okay. Dinner at the restaurant was very good!
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good and well attended by the staff. I would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Wife and I return to the area every year because of the beautiful serene landscape but we stay at the Wine Country Inn because of the property itself. The hotel is very nice and it is a good value for the area.
- 5/5
Great staff will be back
- 4/5
Overall would have been excellent but restaurant was closed because of an event.

- 5/5
Comfortable, clean and all employees were very friendly.
- 5/5
We absolutely love staying at the Wine Country Inn! The amenities are unbeatable and it's so convenient to downtown Palisade and all that the area has to offer. The pool and hot tub are always clean, breakfast delicious, and daily wine hour is such a treat. Will be back!
- 5/5
It’s all good - we’ll be back
- 5/5
it was very beautiful, comfortable and romantic
- 5/5
We loved this property. The wine country is beautiful, breakfast is good. A real hidden gem. Great staff too!
- 5/5
Great place, lots of options onsite (pool, hot tub). Wineries and brewery and distillery near by.
- 5/5
Lovely room, delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant - look forward to staying again sometime
- 4/5
Very pleasant stay
- 5/5
Hotel is beautiful, comfortable, clean and very well maintained. There were several areas for leisure sitting. The bar served excellent food and each guest was served a complimentary glass of wine. The included continental breakfast was extensive and delicious.
- 5/5
Setting is beautiful-right in the vineyards with views of the Bookcliffs. The hotel rooms are elegantly decorated. And the fresh peaches at breakfast are wonderful.
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay
- 5/5

Great place.
- 5/5
First time visiting and will do it again. The staff and facility are great.
- 5/5
Wonderful property! Definitely will be back
- 5/5
Charming place. Free wine tasting in the lobby and an ample breakfast included. Good bed. Beautiful pool and hot tub which during our stay featured a fully loaded peach tree.
- 5/5
Always a great stay at Wine Country Inn! From the free wine reception in the evening, great buffet breakfast, beautiful flowers, pool & jacuzzi, and comfortable beds with amazing pillows!
- 5/5
We stay every year. Love this place.
- 4/5
The property is very nice and comfortable. Staff is amazing. Only issue was at their fine dinning restaurant. My steak was over cooked when I sent it back the same steak was served back to me more well done. Sent it back again by the time my steak arrived medium rare my lady was finished with her meal. Not a very wine country romantic dinner watching each other eat.
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice and accommodating for the price. Beds comfortable, rooms clean, even allowed my dog for only $40. Breakfast was excellent and they give you a free wine at happy hour.
- 5/5
Very beautiful setting. Room very clean.
- 5/5
Charming and relaxing! Sitting in white rockers on the porch is a great way to visit with other travelers. Staff are welcoming and attentive. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The best beds we sleep in except for home.
- 5/5
Do not hesitate, book now. This was the such a perfect hotel for a family getaway for peach picking and wine. The pool was such a hit with my three year old and the food onsite was fantastic.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Employees very personable and accommodating. Good food, great wine and comfy bed. Try a peach sangria and some peach bread pudding. Really enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Nothing special anymore - our forth stay here, something is missing, we don’t get a “ glad to have you with us “ feeling as we used to. New ownership? New management? What used to be a special stay is not feeling special anymore.
- 5/5
A nice inn in the middle of vineyards with a view of the hillside behind. What a great way to relax and the service is excellent.
- 3/5
We’ve spent several years in a row here. This year fell short. Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel less important than other guests. Very off putting and disappointing. Not sure if this will be our last year even though we would have been a guarantee to revisit year after year.
- 5/5
The complimentary glass of wine was very good and a nice touch.
- 5/5
Super cute, quaint hotel with wonderful staff!! But I don’t want anyone else to know how awesome it is so Im not gonna tell you! ;)
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Happy hour should put out snacks too.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful.
- 5/5
Guest greeting was fantastic with overview of restaurants and rules! Ate at Caroline’s and food was wonderful at a reasonable price. Ordered savignon blanc local wine which was very good at a reasonable price and can cork and take remaining on property. Pool was quiet with hot tub! Very relaxing -great location to relax -not a party place!!! Would love to come pack earlier in day to go to all the local wineries!! Great views!!!!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, beautiful views, wine happy hour and complimentary, everything was wonderful!
- 5/5
This is the second time for us to stay here. Super clean, nice dining, perfect pool, nice breakfast and friendly staff!! I strongly recommend this place. I wish to come back!

Much cleaner and safer than anything in Grand Junction! We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
This is a wonderful facility, surrounded by vineyards. The center court is beautiful, pleasant, and a great place to have breakfast or an evening glass of wine.
- 5/5
Great staff, very quiet.
- 5/5
We stay here every year and it is our absolute favorite stop on our trip! The staff are so fun and friendly, the hotel is clean, the grounds are well kept, and the location is stunning! We are looking forward to our next trip - thank you for everything!!
- 5/5
Everything was great the room was excellent; the food was excellent.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel all-around. Well-maintained with friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool, a hot, fresh breakfast, and dinner at Caroline’s - all excellent.Downtown Palisade was cute. We recommend dinner at Fidel’s.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, the location was perfect. Close to the wineries, the pool was great and their winery was amazing. I really recommend this trip and this hotel! Better than expected!!
- 5/5
Fantastic Property/stay!
- 4/5
Nice and spacious room.
- 5/5
I loved this place. Rooms were big and comfy. Onsite dining and bar was great. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The whole place was wonderful and in the middle of vineyard. Definately coming back.
- 5/5
Fun
- 5/5
For breakfast,, the choices were unique and homemade. I appreciated that even the pastries were made there or at a bakery . . . they did not come out of a plastic wrap! :) The staff was helpful. While it was slightly more than I usually spend for a quick overnight, it was worth it and I will stay there again.
- 5/5
I always stay every summer and it has everything you could want to relax.
- 5/5
Nice property. Staff at check in was a bit bland. Not very friendly. Nice lobby, welcome glass of wine, good food at restaurant. Room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Nice vineyards nearby. Decent pool. Rooms have DISH network that were confusing to use. Remote never did work properly. Not sure why hotels can’t get any easy to use tv and remote. Ridiculous. Overall, we’d stay again.
- 5/5
Very clean, quite and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would stay again and suggest if going to or through Palisade you should also!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean, dog friendly, close to wineries & fruit stands. Been staying here for many years love it! Meet the owner at the winery.
- 5/5
We just had our third two-night stay and we love this place. Their breakfast (included in the cost) are great!! We had a pet-friendly room the first time and it was perfect for our small dog, with areas to easily walk him. Caroline's is also a good restaurant that is on-site. No negatives.
- 4/5
Their fitness center consisted of two bikes and an elliptical machine. Not much of a fitness center.
- 4/5
its a good place to rest clean and all the crew is ready kindly
- 5/5
Property is gorgeous and in a convenient location. Very well maintained grounds and clean lobby. Breakfast had options and different choices each day. Room was quiet and comfortable. Many amenities on site. Thank you for a wonderful weekend at a good price.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and pool
- 5/5
The best hotel I’ve stayed in in the area! Beautiful location off the highway. Clean rooms, big, with hardwood floors. Quiet hotel with an awesome pool, breakfast and restaurant!
- 5/5
We stay there when we travel from Arizona to Colorado. Very special place and setting.!
- 5/5
It’s a sure thing! You won’t be disappointed, it checks all of the boxes. From Caroline’s restaurant to the lobby bar, hot tub and swimming pool, it’s just a great place to stay!!!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at Wine Country Inn. We visit every year for our anniversary, since we had our wedding there. We are always delighted with the room and the staff. There is a unique feel to this place, down to the pleasant scent as you walk through the hall to the room. We love the pool and hot tub, the wine tasting, and the bar/restaurant.
- 4/5
Good location with all the wineries in the area, breakfast was good, pool was clean and refreshing. Staff is friendly and property well maintained with beautiful views.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and beautiful property
- 5/5
Lovely place
- 5/5
The service was outstanding! It as fun and beautiful staying right on a vineyard. The pool was very clean and perfect temp.

The property is right off of the highway for easy access and has an amazing view of the mountains along I-70. There are a few places within walking distance including a winery, restaurant, gas station, and a fruit stand. It’s a very picturesque location with a pool and decent breakfast. They also have a happy hour and one hour of free wine at the hotel each night.

We previously had a poor experience in Grand Junction and decided to look somewhere further out. We are so pleased to have have the Wine Country Inn in Palisade. It feels a bit quiet and sleepy, is a but dated, but if looking for something slower paced but still very nice, this is just the place.

There's nothing I could say that would sway you to not stay at this place. Everything was extraordinary from the room, to the pool and hot tub, to the break fast in the mornings. The variety of food offered each morning was refreshing to see! It's quiet and peaceful, even with I-70 running right by it. Staff are friendly as all can be! Dogs being welcome to stay is a blessing to see from other patrons with their dogs. If only I could have brought ours with us. I cannot recommend this place enough! It is seriously worth staying! I will be coming back!

The waitstaff at the on-site dining facilities were extremely friendly and accomodating.

Fairly big hotel, reasonable sized rooms that were nicely appointed. Breakfast was very crowded with insufficient seats and the offering was poor. The two restaurants offered a reasonable choice of food.

Staff was. Nice

Lovely property at the base of the Book Cliffs. Nice and clean rooms, however the toilet paper holder was a bit far from the toilet, which felt a little dangerous. Staff were friendly, with the exception of one front desk member who was obviously having a bad day. The pool and hot tub were refreshing and clean.

Great location. Vineyard with tastings on same property. Breakfast was excellent for your typical free buffet. Pool area excellent. Totally quiet even though somewhat close to 70. Gas ice cream fruit pizza all close by.
