The most concerning part of our stay happened at around 2:00 a.m. when four men were outside our door trying to open it. At that point, I went to the front desk and requested a refund because I no longer felt safe staying there. Instead of issuing a refund, they moved us to another room, which was just as bad. The second room was also dirty, with roaches present, hair on the sheets that clearly had not been properly washed, and an overall unsanitary condition. We were traveling with family and did not feel comfortable or safe staying another minute. Thankfully, we were able to find another place to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The cleanliness, safety concerns, and misleading photos made for a terrible experience.

We were traveling with young children and needed to stop for the night. The clerk wasn’t friendly at all. Didn’t even greet me when I walked in. We got to building 2, the doors weren’t secured, the hallway smelled of marijuana. Opened the door to our room and the room was dingy looking with cockroaches crawling everywhere!! We immediately put the children back in the truck. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund for the room and the $100 deposit. (Like the room could have gotten any worse) Clerk asked what was wrong and I explained everything and she didn’t even react so I’m sure she knew about the infestation. Didn’t have anything to say. The worst experience we have ever had!!

What did you like about the property? Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience during this stay. What didn't you like about the property? The hotel looked completely different from the photos online. I chose this hotel because I was traveling with two children, and the pool, fitness room, and full breakfast were important to me. However, none of these met expectations. The pool was dirty and unusable, and the fitness room was dusty and dirty as well. The location was also inconvenient — the front desk/reception was in one building while the hotel rooms were in another building. The room itself was extremely dirty. During the entire 4-night stay, nobody cleaned the room, and I had to clean it myself. The bed sheets were dirty, and I even had to get clean bedding and change the bed myself. I also had to wash the floors because they were very dirty. There were larvae/insects crawling in the bathroom. Breakfast was very poor, and I ended up buying food outside every morning for myself and my children. In addition, my deposit still has not been returned. Write a short sentence to sum up your stay. Very disappointing and stressful stay — the hotel did not match the description or photos, and cleanliness and service were unacceptable. What did you like about the property? You get what you paid for. As we were staying there, there were 2 roaches and they turned off the water during the day on two days (for about 1 to 2h), the walls and the mirrors were pretty dirty. Other than all the negatives it's a super cheap place to sleep for a day or two if you need, and we decided to leave the entire day anyway for the few days we were there. I'm used to staying at lower-quality places, but this was one of the worst. Nothing against the people who do stay, potentially due to the low price, many people were smokers, and sometimes "homeless-looking" people who just chilled outside. I'll say, all the staff were nice and great to us.

The room had stains on all towels and bedding, tiles on floor would move out of place and our remote didn’t work. Staff were pretty good nothing to complain, friendly. Breakfast consisted of sausage, two cereals and a waffle make although, the batter was in the fridge and only enough batter to make two waffles, and that was the only breakfast, Overall i wouldn’t stay here again due to us only picking this hotel because it had breakfast but we don’t even get to eat it. Also we got to breakfast at 6:45 am so 45 mins after it was opened and the front desk told us it was all set out and ready.

Reserved the room for four nights. Arrived and place was sketchy. Loiters all over and the entire place reeked of weed. Police arrived in the parking to deal with an issue. The front desk required me to say my credit card information aloud, not once but twice. The first room we walked into had a large mirror that fell off the wall and there was shattered glass all over the floor. The phone didn’t work. We did not feel safe at all. They moved us to a different room which had bugs on the floor. The beds felt like you were sitting on cardboard. We were there for about 15 minutes and left to another hotel. We requested a refund and they refused, which did not stop us from leaving and paying for a different hotel. It’s too bad they don’t take responsibility for the poor quality of service.

In my years of traveling, I have stayed in many Quality Inns and most have been very good, certainly at least on par with their competitors. Not so here. I will say that the room was clean and the staff was pleasant but the good news stops there. The building is in deplorable shape. Neither of the 2 entry doors to the lobby were functional, several of the residence doors didn't close properly, and several of the fire doors had questionable handles. The light over the sink in room 112 was inoperative and the plastic cover was broken. The breakfast was way below what I have experienced in other Quality Inns. The waffle maker was out of batter, the coffee was tepid and there was no decaf. There was no juice dispenser -- just a jug that ran out of apple juice quickly. There was only one kind of bread and it was dried out by the time breakfast was over.

I booked online, sight unseen, so I didn't know what I was getting. Pictures on hotel.com are severely false advertising. Puctures from our stay can be found bellow. The Sad - The Staff The Ugly - The property The two stars go to the staff members that have been given an impossible job to keep this disaster running for the owner. BE PREPARED - ALL THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE Sometimes you think that everything is booked up and it can't be that bad. It is. The sadness comes from the lack of any maintenance staff. Things to avoid: Bathroom - The shower head sprays into the ceiling molding and moistening one corner of the bathtub. 5 minutes to fix a shower head and now the ceiling is ruined. The sink returns the water to your knees. Some enterprising person wedged the ice bucket under the pipe to catch the leak. It is full and now just drips and splashes your knees. No carpet, that is good. The AC worked. The bed and sheets appeared to be clean and was comfortable. Since that was all I really wanted it was OK. The refrigerator worked. There was an amazing wasp infestation under the eaves. When we went to our car in the morning the area around it smelled strongly of urine. Don't try and get extra towels at the maid room. They have a sign threatening to kick you out and trespass you. along with a camera! 9AM - 2PM if you want to try for a towel. It is like a deposit program, they want your dirty towels first and count them. If you get to the front desk and read the no refund for cancellation sign it is too late. The breakfast was there. I saw people eating it. I did fee safe, no obvious crime.

Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. The good parts were location, pool was very inviting and water felt nice and there was a fan in the bathroom. Also the A/c kept the room nice and cool. The bad: checked in to having no towels in room. Was given 3 bath towels and one wash cloth. Half the outlets didn't work and we're few and far between. I killed a handful of baby roaches. Everything was worn out and dirty. Mystery stains on cieling, curtains, walls etc.TV didn't work and maintenance lady came and fixed it but the remote wouldn't control the volume. She was supposed to bring new remote and never did. Bed was lumpy and people in adjoining rooms were loud. It's a smoke free motel but if you wanna get high and forgot your weed, just step out in the hall and inhale. They have a $100 holding deposit. For what? There's nothing else to damage. Not worth was we paid and we won't be staying there again. Go two doors down to the Hotel Pensacola. It's well worth the price difference.

The yard was almost a foot high in grass. It was mowed Sunday. The door to the building for the rooms was propped open due to the key pad not working. The ac had to be in the 60s to keep it comfortable (we set ours at home on 76). The floor was dirty (I walked the room barefoot one time and my feet were dirty). Found a dirty washcloth behind the toilet. There were no clean washcloths only 2 bath towels and a hand towel. Checked in sat, sun went out and came back unable to get in our room. A janitor said we needed to get our card rekeyed but let us into our room after she checked to make sure no one was in it. We booked sat-mon.

Save your money and energy. The area is filled with people lingering around the vehicles and I am pretty sure exchanges are made on the regular. Loud music inside and outside the building so much so it felt like it was right outside our window. Heavy scent of pot, mold, and musty water. The building looks like it is falling apart. Holes in walls. Phones in rooms were not plugged into any cords and no there weren't any to be able to fix it myself. Tv in the second room we were placed in (123), didn't turn off even though the remote worked. Ended up needing to unplug the TV entirely. Door was only a deadbolt and not the dual locking system with the chain. Beds creaked anytime someone moved making it feel like it was going to break at any given moment. Pillows looked like they took toddler sized pillows and placed them on the bed. Oh and you only got 2 pillows per bed. Room was at least fairly clean on the surface but not too sure on how clean it truly was. Holes in the walls as well. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

No ice, no breakfast, no one patrolling the area because someone was outside my window blaring music so loud it was shaking my window and my boyfriend had to go outside to ask them to turn it down twice, they wouldn’t give extra towels or rags, the floor was disgusting, black stuff blew out of the heater when I turned it on, the water pressure was terrible, and no one came by to even ask to clean our room. When I checked in, they never told me about the electrical issues they were having, so that’s why there was no breakfast.

Additionally, my room as well as the hallway reeked of marijuana, and when I informed the front desk, they insisted that no nearby rooms were occupied—yet the smell was undeniable. They offered to move me to a different room, but while it was slightly cleaner, the fire alarm battery was chirping which was my breaking point. I went back to the front desk and requested a refund. Apparently, this was a normal response because there was a sign in the lobby that it would take 2 - 5 days for a refund Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

When we first arrived, it was obvious that the lobby/common area had been neglected for some time. It was very musty. Once in the room, the toilet was running non stop and there was trash behind the trash can on the floor. I opened the back of the toilet to try and get it to stop running, inly to find that a hidden vodka bottle was in the tank, blocking the flap from sealing. Also, there was no room service for my entire 3 day stay. When I asked the front desk, they said that I was supposed to be told to put the dirty towels out in the hall to be exchanged. But that they only do housekeeping once a week. This was never relayed. The breakfast area left a lot to be desired, as it smelled and was very musty.

The room was not even worth $20 dollars per night I found out after we were in the room that area the hotel was in had a big drug problem. But the room ( the whole hotel) needed a lot of attention the hot breakfast was a bust the room was very old like the room was probably never upgraded from the time the hotel was built. Level it and build new walls had mold in them in the shower area the only thing that was newer was the TV . Take it off your list

Was I safe? Yes, which is what was most important. Staff was also friendly. But the rooms were a little ran down and there was an odor of pot about. Also, the outside doors remained open, so potentially anyone could come in. However, my rental car remained fine, I didn't have roaches or bedbugs, and I did get breakfast. So if you're trying to save money, you can definitely do so here and not put yourself in mortal danger.

I checked in at midnight and I had to wait 20 minutes trying to wake up the front desk clerk. Once he woke up, he unlock the doors check me in and then we’re fine from that. I went to my room and older building that seem more like it was a long-term Place to stay and I smell the pungent smell of marijuana through the hallways down to my room. It didn’t seem like it was the safest place in my room. It was very neat and clean plenty of hot water and towels. That’s the only thing I can give you positive to , get some good sleep and I got up and departed and the front desk clerk was very nice. She was articulate and focused. Thanks to her.

Expedia falsely advertised this 65 year old property. When I arrived I was utterly shocked. I asked for this to be canceled and the hotel advised that Expedia would have to do it and of course they did not and tried to blame the hotel. The hotel is old, musty smelling and has bugs. Thankful the water was hot

Upon arriving We were assigned a room in the rear building. There were several people hanging around outside and inside, some smoking marijuana. The doors into the building were not locked. The ice maker was un-plugged. At our room, our door lock /dead-bolt was broken, the safety latch was hanging by one screw. With people hanging out right outside our door and all along the hallways, we were nervous. The floors in our room were sticky and crumbs on the floor. At 4:am, I was awakened by 3 gun-shots. We have always enjoyed Choice Hotels/Quality Inn in the past, but will definitely think twice the next time.

We stayed for 3 days. The key card for the door closest to us did not work. The other doors were broken and opened for anyone. The bathroom is tiny with paint peeling the shower rod was broken. The window had a 2 inch crack on the outer edge letting in all the heat and humidity. The main hall smelled so bad I had to hold my breath to walk through. They had no milk the first day, and the second day they ran out of cooking spray for the waffle iron, instead they offered waffle iron cleaner to cook with. I would not select this hotel in the future.

Milk ran out fast and constantly on breakfast.... one day they didn't have milk left. Had dry cereal..... coffee and hot water ran out easily also. The front desk person is the one in charge of breakfast, plus other stuff... too many things for them... there should be an exclusive person of breakfast. The worst part.... on the 4th day it was a terrible smell at the place.. the worst smell ever ... it never got away.... on the good side front desk Ladies are great... both are very kind and helpful... also the room was nice....

For the price you can’t complain. Two down falls were 1 for being 95 outside I walk into a room that was over 80. 2 ice machine either couldn’t keep up or broke but never really more than 10 room buckets of ice in it at all times. But would definitely stay again for the price

Our experience was absolutely horrible. While on vacation, our family decided to stay an extra day and get a more budget friendly hotel near the beach since we'd be coming in late and leaving early. We got in about 930pm, and it was over an hour before we got into a room. The receptionist seemed to not care at all and was on her phone most of the time. Took her almost half an hour to check the person in front of us in and then another 10 minutes for us. Park at the other building, load up our bags, get to the room, and the key doesnt work. We ended up walking to reception and back 5 times with non-working keys until we eventually had to switch rooms. The room's door was leaking grease, the room was filthy, and looked like it hadn't been maintained in quite some time. We might as well had gone with a cheap dumpy motel for the same quality and at least saved some money. Absolutely would never stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Trash all around property, cig boxes, paper, straws, beer cans, etc. Had to dodge piles of dog poo on grass around pool area. Hotel stairs and walkway to rooms was hot(no a/c) and had strange odor. The room was okay other than floor not being swept. I had to put towels down to walk on in my room so my socks wouldn't get full of dirt/sand, etc. Hotel NEEDS an extreme makeover. A little pricey for the shape it was in.

This was the first time that we did not read the reviews and instead relied on the fact that it was part of Hotels.com’s selection;you should really do a better job of checking and verifying each hotel and never allow a horrible place to be included. We have never stayed at a place that has been so terrible.First, it is clearly used for prostitution and drugs. The only reason we stayed was because we got there so late and didn’t have time to look for something else.We could not see the amount of mold in the room because of the low lighting until the next morning. We did not receive any towels, not even hand towels. It was located in a very seedy area of town.We were placed, without our knowledge, into temporary rooms that were used for such prostitution, which we were told the next morning.Although we were told our room did not have microwave and a fridge which we were OK with, but later another attendee actually told us that the reason it didn’t have them was because they were in the middle of remodeling those rooms and should not have been placed in them. The AC was so loud, we were not able to sleep and then we realized that it leaked. The room was FILTHY!!! I had to wipe down the counters. It smelled like wet dog and I have a strong suspicion that the sheets were not washed!!!!We were so disgusted and disappointed that we didn’t even stay to have breakfast. The night hotel attendant was immature and had a horrible attitude. Sheila in the morning was surprisingly nice.

We did not stay here. The adjoining rooms were on opposite sides of the hallways, smelled atrocious, doors did not work, and people were sticking needles in their arms. Everything is falling apart. The front desk agent was cooperative and she moved us to another room in slightly better condition. We've made multiple pictures when we entered to show the morning shift all the damages, because the hotel requested $100 deposit, surprisingly high amount for a room in such shape. The area around the hotel is awful. The whole setting gives a vibe of a poorly maintained motel. We are family of four and we will check out the earliest possible tomorrow morning.
