A/C was unplugged, had to get down on the floor to plug in. Found candy on the rug and a small backpack under the chair. When we went to go out the sliding doors, we noticed that the lock was hanging on with one screw. Front desk was very quick to give us a another room up on the second floor.

I loved how you can sit out on the balcony , and the game room was nice . The trash you can smell if very bad and the door handle was broken to one of the doors to get out , I had to have employee show me how to open it

The suite was large. Bathroom was small but just enough for what we needed. Live roach was found in the tub. Beds were not too comfortable. Our room was quiet.

When I finally got a room ( at 3:30 ) tv wasn’t working, at 4:30 I got switch to another room where the tv also wasn’t working, the room smelled like a pet urine. I guess u get what u pay for, I do not recommend

The bed was okay It made me start coughing and getting sick because of how bad the mold was. I could only stay in the room 30 min. It was gross and down. The pictures I saw when I booked were NOT current photos. And the view of the bay it showed is also a lie. The nice pool area is also a lie.

Room was not clean upon arrival. There appeared to be mold/mildew on the bathroom ceiling, rust and buildup on the shower fixtures, staining around plumbing fixtures, and multiple stains on the bedding. I documented everything with photos immediately after entering the room. The condition of the room did not match expectations and raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.

The room was just okay. The hotel smelt awful. Someone was definitely smoking pot in the hotel room and it stunk up the entire floor. The room didn’t stay cold with the AC set at 68. The breakfast was terrible. Would not recommend staying here.

The room was absolutely disgusting. It didn’t look like it was cleaned at all. They had used tobacco pouches in between the cushions and a huge sticky spot in the middle of the floor. The floor felt damp, and the balcony was flooded from the AC drain. the courtyard where the pool was was also filthy and not maintained at all. Wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy looked like another hooker hotel.

The sliding doors where you park in front of are room only had cheap slide to lock . So you had to walk out all the way down the hall to get to your car. Then the door you go out wouldn’t open so I had to call somebody to open the door for me . What a fire hazard it could be. The phone in the room didn’t work,the sprinkler covered my car and the patio.They said we had room we could see the bayside and you had to walk across the rode to the gas station to see the bayside.They made me pay a 100 dollars deposit. I did get it back.

You get what you pay for. I didn’t expect much going into it, it’s not a 5 star hotel experience by any means but I don’t think that’s expected. It was quality, and it was inn. lol. Pool was over ran w kids & families, breakfast was really good but I waited 25 minutes to cook a 2 min waffle because a guy stood there making 20 for a huge entire family back to back to back. Definitely wouldn’t stay unless there were no better options, in our case memorial / local graduation made it hard to book day of. We aren’t local so didn’t realize. They have another great location we did love in gulf breeze, beach front. Stayed there on the way in. Hoped to stay again on the way back but it was all booked due to the events happening so ended up at this one. Didn’t expect much, didn’t get much!

This is clearly a property that has known better days. My room was in a poor condition. The breakfast buffet was managed by people who didn’t care too much about hygiene and was one of the most uninteresting and limited that I have seen in a Qualty Inn.

This place was filthy. The bathtub had dark mold on it, the drain had black stuff around it. The frame around the mirror at the sink was filthy, I got a washcloth and wiped some of it. I could not believe my eyes. The faucet was about falling off. The shampoo was clogged up in the shower.I am highly disappointed in this hotel.

Staff was awesome. The room did smell just a bit smoky. The suite next door to ours, you could hear the other tenants. I think cause the building was older it was not as nice as some others we have stayed in. Parking was good. Shower was nice and warm. The room could use a bit more cleaning.

The shower drain didn’t have a cover to collect hair or soap. The thing was that the bathroom doesn’t have ventilation either and the paint was loose on the corner of the toilet. The temperature was good control. And the balcony was ok to look out. The breakfast was good and few options to choose from. Bed sheets and towers were clean. The quiet time were very good. If this hotel has a better care or touch to costumers in a more friendly manner and more care to it’s draining system and update it’s ventilation and paint quality can range easily 5 starts. Lastly, the parking was great and easy to reach in and out of the hotel. A message to the hotel manager: The honey bees (the workers) should be kind with the people who rented a room and be friendly so the new customer can feel the welcome athmofera in the building. Just May be because had a negative experiences in the past with unhealthy customers that don’t apply to a new ones. Everyone is different. If you don’t have that love, touch to speak with customers find a better job out of customer services area. Everyone deserves to be treated with love and respect. 🤔.

Check in was super easy, with wrap-around style hotel rooms around the property. Checked in, drove around to the back of our hotel room where there is a door leading outside, parked pretty easily, and went around and opened the door so we could just bring our stuff right inside.

The hotel was run down our room the carpet had several patches in it and it didn’t match! When I got in the shower there was soap paper left from the previous people. I was wondering about the sheets! I’m not sure they were changed! I got my stuff out of the car and used it. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. But the hotel needs updating!!

The hotel has been renovated and is beautiful. We stayed in a suite and had family that live there who came to visit. We had plenty of room to eat, play games and enjoy family time.

Room was clear, plenty of space, staff excellent, issues with a sheets that were a bit stained, but it’s not life/death. Easy to get to my desired location. Wasn’t there for breakfast and parking was a dream! Hope this helps! Also, pool wasn’t working, but it didn’t effect us.

Breakfast as pretty tasty. Had cheesy hasbrowns which is good and different for a choice hotel. Seems little rough and worn in place but did its job for the night anf everything worked.

Horrible stay. The tv didnt work. The fridge made this loud ass noise all night long. The bathroom door scraped the floor and you had to literally pick up on it to make it shut. But the worst part was the carpet was installed wrong so it had nails sticking up and my husband stepped on a nail pretty good causing his foot to bleed. Told the hotel the next morning and they only offered to refund 10% of our stay which would be like $10. Won't be staying there again.

Very disappointed

I was not allowed to check in until 4 PM and by then I had to call out of work because they were not prepared and I kept going and repeatedly asking, and they were not ready. And then for my room to have dirty hand fence all over the door jam. And nasty moldy, green and black scum in the shower, and the sliding glass door would not shut all the way if you wanted to walk it and had to stay slightly cracked and was held together with duct tape. The pool was closed. So in Florida you can’t even swim in the pool because it’s closed. Thanks a lot for ruining stay.

Nice hotel breakfast was great

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable. They were doing construction on the property, and the pool was not available. I feel like our sheets were dirty, and there was sand inside of them, but other than that, everything else seemed to be pretty clean.

It wasn't the Taj mahal because it is dated but it wasn't bad at all. If it was updated it would be much better. They were a couple sketchy people around outside that I felt a little weird about, but they were just paying to be there like myself so I'm sure they're not there all the time.

Room was clean, curtain rods were coming loose from the wall, one of the beds was worn out, when you sat on the comode the door was almost touching your knees and toliet tissue was behind the door. The breakfast was horrible, burndt eggs, green bananas, only loaf bread for toast, scrambled burndt eggs and so was the sausage, strawberry waffles, three kinds of cereal and juice, strong nasty coffee. We didn’t even eat there on Sunday because it was the same as Saturday. Some ceiling tiles were down with buckets sitting under them in the dinning room, others were about to fall. This place is a dump compared to what it use to be. Plastered walls have been patched so many time it's pitiful. There was only one ice machine on the ground level. The clerk behind the counter at check in and out was very nice and helpfull. It is a old motel and those owners don't act like like they care about remodeling. I dont think unless it gets a make over that I will stay there again.

You can tell that in its heyday this was a great hotel. It is definitely showing wear. The room was spacious and clean, but general maintenance was a bit lacking. The room could use cleaner carpets, caulking in the bathroom, and insulation in the walls. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was nice (although I would prefer my scrambled eggs to not be seasoned so much). Still, well worth the price paid.

2 stars because the front desk attendant when we got there was really nice and helpful but I honestly feel like we deserve a credit for this stay- the room we got switched to (after we saw roaches in the first) had a missing glass pane in the sliding door, wouldn’t shut all the way- and made it super noisy all night from the highway so we couldn’t sleep

The room we were given smelled heavily of mold. We should have requested a different room as my husband ended up sick from the mold. Also the hot water went out and we couldn't shower for a while. I was told they would contact me when the hot water came back on but they never did. Other than that the staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent on the weekend but not so great during the week, no decent protein options. Most of that would have been ok as the price was really reasonable but my husband being so ill by the time we left was very concerning.

For the price it was a great value

We stayed two nights at this Pensacola Bayview location. Initially, we noticed an odor in the room that resembled smoke; however, it was later identified as water mildew. There should have been a clue to the dehumidifiers located in the hallways. Mildew and moisture increase on the second night. Even the sheets and carpet were all damp. At 5 am I had staff come down to the room to obverse the conditions and she agreed that there was a issue. The clerk on duty recommended that I contact management on Monday for further assistance. On Monday, travel prevented me from making a call; however, I contacted the location on Tuesday. The clerk listens to my issue with our stay but only offered on behalf of management stating policy a 10% discount. I informed her that I did not find this situation satisfactory and requested to speak with a member of management. I was informed that they were not at the location, but she assured me that she would pass along my complaint and contact information. She stated that management would determine whether they needed to contact me again. 24 hrs. As I have not received a follow-up call, I am assuming that the opportunity may no longer be available. I wanted to let the location address the issue before leaving this review on Expedia. The front desk clerk stated that this sounded like a threat, and I assured her it was not a threat but only to give management a chance to hear and resolve the issue.

My room was okay I guess. It definitely wasn't as bad as a lot of the other reviews made it out to be. It's a hotel not a resort. Convenient location, breakfast was better than most other hotels that I've stayed. My only issue with my room was that it was pretty good size, two beds and still enough room to pitch a tent lol. It would be perfect if it only had furniture i.e. a dresser, a couch, a table. The room was humongous but we had no where to sit other than the beds.

Not enough food for guests. Everything was run out but sausage patties before 9 am. Only one waffle maker so guests waited a very long time for that only food that was left.

Property very dirty and hole in ceiling in dining area and bathtub with rust in it. Wall outlet in room hanging from the wall. Afraid to use it because thought may get electrocuted. Staff unfriendly .

Was told that the cash deposit was only $100 and when I got there it was actually more. The lady that was working was very rude.. she cancelled my stay . I was already aggravated because I was there for a funeral and being a truck driver being able to stay in a room for a few days is so luxurious. I would never recommend this place to nobosy. I did not get a friendly vibe when I walked in

There were roaches in the room. Also I had booked two room one for us and one for my friend thru Expedia. Expedia charged me for both and when my friend checked in they charged her too!

There is no bay view from the bay view room. Room smelled a little moldy/damp. Air condition worked good. Toilet did not flush well. Room decor did not match well. Beds were pretty comfortable and tv worked well. Nice small refrigerator was helpful and a microwave. Everything was clean. For the price, it was ok but some things were misleading. Biggest problem is pool was broken and we didn’t find this out until walking in to check in. This was the main reason we came here. Hotel is about 10 minutes from lots of food places. So that was convenient.

The outlet in the bathroom did not work, phone in room did not work, and the tolietwas leaking . Had to walk to the front desk to inform them of all of the issues the room had.Very old hotel amd it has a musty smell. Pool was closed, and the continental breakfast looked like it was cooked and and recooked Room 145.

There was mold in the shower, a bathroom door that looked like it was kicked in at some point, a terrible smell in the room, heat in the hallways with blower fans, weird white stuff on the floor, and water dripping from the ceiling. There isn’t proper lighting by the outside entry and there were tons of cats on the property crawling all over the cars.

Pleasantly surprised what are difference hot breakfast makes in the morning! Waffles and biscuits and gravy. Bed was fine, hot water, fridge and microwave. The hotel is a little dated. Older carpet looks dirty. Stairwell may need some upkeep. Would stay again.

Hotel is run down no ac in halls. Smells like cigarettes and cigars, has limited breakfast, doors are broken, sinks are cracked, doors have no molding stripping, and overall run down old hotel that is not worth the stay.

The room smelled like mold, 1st day breakfast was waffle, cereal, and apples only. The 2nd day no breakfast at 6:15am when we were leaving. The pool temp was great but was very dirty and most of the chars were broken

On previous stays there was a good breakfast...eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. This time there was only sugary cold cerial and hideous chocolates waffles. I'll find a different place to stay on my next trip through.

The property is run down and needs to be updated. The entry ways to the rooms are in strange locations, dirty all around, and the sliding glass doors barely slide.

I wished it had more activities to do that were closer. Otherwise it was a great visit.

Everything was ok, but I think it is a bit expensive for the kind of room. The bed was good, but the AC did an horrible noise all night long. And a curtain was missing in the principal room, so it means wake up early due to the sun in the room.

This property was not the hotel I reserved, very disappointed

As soon as you arrive you see the property is unkept, glass doors are smudged. The lobby was nice though. The room was horrible, the only thing that was nice was the bed. Restroom in need of a major overhaul. Mold on the wall. Walls dirty. Light fixture was blinking. Can’t believe it got a good rating. We would never stay there again. We have stayed at other Quality Inns and they were great.

Booked late just needed a place to sleep for the night. Place is rundown, smells horrible and has roaches crawling on the walls. No soap or shampoo in the restroom. Do not stay here!

The bed was super comfortable and the room was very spacious! The only problem we had was the tub did not drain well while taking a shower.

Friendly staff. So dirty. Carpet smells terrible. Beds had long hairs and short dog-lime hairs all in the sheets. Sheets pilling. Breakfast dirty. Apple juice was fermented and we got sick from it.

The light was not working for the entryway . They could not fix it . We were offered a room on the second floor but they had no elevator .

It was conveniently located, so we didn't have to go far to visit the places, like the beach. It was clean, but we were in a handicap room and the bars near the toilet were too close. Made it a bit inconvenient to use the bathroom. The top shower head was not adjustable and the mobile shower head was slightly clogged with minerals and didn't produce a great shower spray. But all I all a decent stay.

The hotel is run down, cracks in the foundation and dirty. Definitely not worth $160 a night. More like a smokers inn motel. Would not return. Hotel needs to be renovated. Only good for a night and even then it is not worth it. Would not stay again.

The mold and mildew around the bathtub and drain stopper was broken. The door out to the pool area was very difficult to open and there was a big whole in the faux grass on the patio.

The hotel had roaches. The bed sheets were dirty. We couldn't stay. I ended up loosing my money because I booked thru Expedia and the hotel was not able to do the refund.

Quiet, convenient location around food places and Walmart. The staff was really friendly, the rooms doesn’t have the best lighting, just the table top lamps. The inside looks better than the outside. Overall 7/10, would stay here again.

While the front desk agents were friendly and welcoming, the condition of the room and hotel facilities overshadowed their hospitality. The blow dryer in the room was outdated and appeared unstable, making it feel unsafe to use. Additionally, the fixtures throughout the room were beyond their usable lifespan and should not be in operation, especially by U.S. standards. The breakfast area was spacious but not well-maintained or cleaned, which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, the stay felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The conditions in the room made it difficult to sleep or feel at ease. I would not recommend this property without major renovations and a thorough deep cleaning.

It was ok great staff we arrived on a Thursday and the pool was out the entire time we was there 2 days before we checked out the pool was up and running but we was there for 8 days its the middle of the summer and no pool the price we paid was for the pool and Bayview is not such a Bayview the trees hiding the view

Staff were okay. The room was outdated and smelt like smoke. The bed linen was very wrinkly and looked as though it had already been slept in and just made up again. I did not feel overly safe outside the room and would not go back again.

Okay the food was good in the morning It definitely needs renovation, but with a little hard work, it could be a great place.

This hotel looked nothing like what was pictured on the Expedia app. Rooms were dirty I had a rotten apple behind the desk property was in poor condition worst of all no elevators

It’s was okay it’s wasn’t that’s much ideal what’s gonna to be an expect I’ll give it out like a four star the game room was pretty cool.

This property is in a great spot by the bay if you are wanting to be close to amenities. However, upon booking I was charged before arrival which warranted distrust from them. On a separate note, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and I found trash under the bed from the previous guest that wasn't cleaned, stains on the linens indicating they weren't laundered and I also spotted a small bug on the other bed I didn't sleep on. The pool also was not working when I checked in which was the reason I chose this motel. Quality never fails me but this time it did. There are other motels that I'm sure have better standards, choose something else. You've been warned.
