Good average hotel, decent breakfast, but the pool was COLD! And the hot tub was not working. A good stay if all you want is a bed and breakfast in the morning.

Lady at breakfast was great , so friendly and good amount of option. Very outdated hotel, musky mold smell in room. Floor was uneven and fridge did not work well- more like a cooler. Pool and “ hot tub” very cold and hot tub did not have bubbles or anything was just cold water.

The cleaning staff were pushy, invasive, and didn't respect boundaries or personal rights and space as a customer. They forced themselves into our room. I checked out a day early because I felt unsafe.

Location was easy. Room was clean. Staff very helpful. The only real issue was breakfast ended at nine...and the room was so dark and comfy that we slept until 8:15! We had to hustle. Breakfast staff was very helpful and kind. We didn't use the pool...next time!

Staff were moody. They also had an indoor pool which looked great but we couldn't use it because it was seasonal??? Who has an indoor pool which can't be used all year? We purposely book hotels that have indoor pools. Won't be back.

For the price, this is a very nice place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Close to a few restaurants too. It is close to a major freeway so a bit noisy on the side facing that.

I don’t usually complain, but I was really disappointed with this hotel stay. Traveling over spring break with two young kids who were excited to swim, it was frustrating to find the indoor pool closed because it’s considered “seasonal.” The bedding was also lacking—just very thin blankets, no cozy comforters. In my opinion, this place needs to make more of an effort. If having access to a pool matters to you, I’d recommend calling ahead to confirm it’s open.

Room was clean and spacious. However it was a horrible night sleep wise for me and my husband! The bed has VERY hard. And the chair was AWFUL to sit/sleep in! Hardest bed we have ever had in a hotel. I have to sit up most nights because of back problems. And the chair was so uncomfortable and tortuous on my back.

The location made travel easy The walls are extremely thin between rooms and the exterior. All night you could hear people walking about on the floor above. Due to the location there was no escaping the sounds of traffic from the interstate. The pillows were horrible and the mattress was like sleeping on plywood. Very disappointing.

Great location for the fairground and downtown Perry. The breakfast options were excellent, including grab-and-go items and cereal, as well as cooked breakfasts. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room size was great and so was the size of the bathroom.

My first time leaving a bad review, so that says a lot. I booked this place because it said they had a pool and that was the reason we went. I paid extra at this place just for that. We get there and there’s no working pool, hadn’t been working for a while and other people were complaining as well. The staff didnt seem to care and they didn’t reach back out to hotels customer service about it. The room had torn up furniture and it smelled bad don’t know what it is with this specific place but it was poor. I would not recommend it.

Only complaint is I’ve booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool which was closed for the season once I got there, I feel like that should be stated in description for the hotel. It’s a very convenient location close to interstate and for good food choices all around and reasonable price.. nice breakfast plus the breakfast hostess absolute best .. she was friendly accommodating and made breakfast a very pleasant experience even offering to pour our coffee and warm up my own breakfast

The room was clean and the staff was wonderful. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was an ev charger next door. The only issue we had was the fridge didnt work, but the staff let me put our breastmilk in the fridge in the kitchen.

I will not ever take my family to this hotel again it was absolutely terrible. There was women’s hair all over the tub when we got there. We were so tired from driving 12 hours that day. The kids were trying to settle down. We got two noise complaints by 9:30 and our children were not that loud and trust me I know my children can get loud. It was 110° in the hallways and the rooms. AC did not cool it down.

MOLD! This was one of my worst hotel experiences. We stopped overnight on a long trip with 4 kids. Upon check in we were told that the pool was closed for the season - the INDOOR pool. The person who checked is in even said "a lot of people get upset about it" we walked into the room and it smelled so badly like a wet Michigan basement. We tried to set up the pull out couch and noticed a large area of mold on the underside of mattress support. So we were switched to another room. The smell was exactly the same. There was no immediately visible mold, just nasty mattress stains. The bathroom had one shampoo, no soap or other toiletries, no tissue. Un-caulked shower fixtures and someones razor cover left behind. There was also a large greasy finger smudge on the window. We should have just left. By morning all the kids were sniffling and clearing their throats. No idea if we will get any refund or compensation.

Area feels dangerous. Lots of homelessness and drugs right outside the hotel. Breakfast was sparce and severely under stocked. Room was pretty clean though. They do not clean everyday and it was like pulling teeth to get an extra towel.

The hotel is old, but very clean. Very little road noise. The AC was loud but once the room was cooled we just cut it off.

Door is broken. Not a tight fit and not secure enough for safety.

We stayed here 2 nights for the Perry fair. The room smelled extremely musty. We went to pool to use the hot tub but it was cold. The waffle mix was watery, so they didn't form right. We stayed here years before and didn't have a single complaint, but this time was bad. The only reason it received 3 stars is because of location. This hotel is perfectly located by the fair.

We loved the hotel but the check-in person was not friendly whatsoever at check-in or when my wife asked about the location of the vending machines. She came from the back when she heard my wife talking with somebody and acted like it was a big bother.

The bathroom was clean. Having the door that split the bedroom with the family room worked wonders! My children said that breakfast was great ( i dont eat in the mornings but it smelt great.) The a.c. will run you out the room. My husband and i love the pillows they were so comfy. They bed was firm. The t.v. guide that was printed out by the hotel had the wrong channel for it but there is a t.v. guide on the actual t.v. as well. The pool and spa was clean! The staff was very friendly. And it wasnt at all that far from the fair grounds. The only down side is its right beside the high way and it was hard to sleep the 1st night. But we will come back and stay again. The hotel provides good breakfast and Mrs Janice the cook is so nice and friendly and very engaging with customers and kids a very sweet nice lady. But besides the bed being hard and feeling the box springs while laying down on the pullout sofa everything else was fine.

The best part was the extremely sweet breakfast attendant who was there in the morning. She was the highlight of our stay. She was so kind to everyone especially our kids.

Housekeeping entered the room twice without knocking while we were in there so that was a little weird. They apparently just wanted to change the towels, but of course they had no way of knowing if we wanted them refreshed. Also on our way out they were very agressive about asking if we were checking out and wanted to know what room number. I had to keep explaining that yes I was leaving but I had more stuff to get out of my room. 5 differerent times i was asked this by housekeeping. I have traveled to 49 states and stayed in many hotels and never been hounded about checking out. I was under the assumption that I paid for the room until 11AM, so I could stay that long if necessary. So unfortunately I left feeling harassed.

Property is older, but well maintained and our double queen room was large with a sitting area/office. Could use a fresh coat of paint and updated furnishings but otherwise was a pleasant stay. Very good location near the Ag center (2 min). Cute little downtown within 10 minutes and plenty of restaurant options. We didn't eat the breakfast, but it smelled good.

The room was very comfortable, beds were comfortable. Clean.The only issue was that, i am assuming it was a cleaning fluid, there was a strong citrus smell in the room. I am sensitive to smells. I had to get a spray to get rid of the smell.

Clearly the hotel has been renovated so it was presentable (still an old hotel with single elevator). The breakfast area was not very accommodating and food wasn't good. The facility is fine if your just doing a single overnight stay, but for our next trip to Perry we will likely stay elsewhere.

The rooms smell damped and wet. The sheets and floor felt sticky. The odor of the rooms and hallway smelt gross. Definitely felt like I over paid for this one night of stay.

Our 1 room (single king bed room) was clean and fresh. Spacious!! I think clean and fresh are very important to feel comfortable and we did. So glad we picked here to stay over night for our travels while passing thru GA. Everything was modern (tv was difficult to work lol but that's ok) bathroom was large, clean and stocked with towels. Breakfast was definitely typical hotel A.M. food lol but the attendant working it was so lovely she made our morning with her attention to detail and her happy positive voice and warm smile. Loved our 1 night stay.

The property is under foreign management now. The pool and hot tub are no longer heated and very very cold. I have stayed here before and would stay here again if it were only me. The beds now are pretty solid so my wife had to sleep on a air mattress. The rates are reasonable and i could stay here on a solo trip and it would bw ok. Over all a good value.

The property was very clean and well kept. However, the bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on a stone slab, and it was so noisy with the freeway next door along with the incredibly loud air-conditioner(mini-split), it was impossible to sleep. It was like trying to sleep in a tunnel with the Indy-500 races running through.

It was a place to sleep, however the blankets on the bed were very thin and there were not extras available every night. When people were in the shower (any where around us, not just through the wall) the wall "ticked." I had a noise machine otherwise it would have been difficult to sleep due to sounds in the hallway (even the ice maker 4 rooms down). Breakfast was okay but the woman running breakfast was our highlight! (Retired black woman from FL.) Front desk people were not overly friendly and the plastic in front of the desk made it very challenging to talk to them and hear. The hot tub was NOT hot and the room with the pool was freezing. On our last night there the elevator got stuck and we had to climb the stairs.

Desk attendant at check in was nice and apologetic that the inside pool area was not heated. Was disappointed to find out that the hotel was not heating the pool or pool area as that was the reason we chose the hotel.

Our first room was on the interstate side and we heard vehicles driving by all night long but we asked and were moved to the other side the following nights where there was no highway noises. The first room had two live bugs and a dead one on the A/C but the second had none. The beds in both rooms were hard so such much so that we tossed and turned all night long to try and find a comfortable position but found none. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

The beds were so incredibly hard if I could have cancelled my second two nights I would have.

The hotel was not terrible, just an older hotel and a lot of moisture in the air.. the room felt damp.

Overall, stay was very good.A bit noisy with our room facing the interstate. Only real complaint was housekeeping. Did not change sheets once for our 3 night stay. Had to ask for towels, shampoo and soap.
