Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix - Airport North by IHG

We stayed here for a 3 days. The property was very clean, the room was nice, the staff was nice, the location was fine. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast. I would stay here again.

​The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and provided a quiet, restful environment after long days of walking and sightseeing. A major highlight was the hotel staff, who were extremely accommodating and welcoming especially when it came to facilitating early check-in requests to help get the trip started on the right foot. Between the comfortable amenities and the hassle-free logistics, it made my time in Phoenix incredibly stress-free

Everything was great for our one night stay before flying out the next morning. Staff was particularly accommodating, especially at check-in. Only problem was TV screen suddenly turned on at approx 3:30am and woke us up. Going back to sleep for me is difficult, so it was disturbing not to get enough sleep. Will stay here again, but will ask staff to make sure we know how to prevent that from happening again.

Seems like a newer facility so all was clean and comfortable. Took the shuttle to the airport (Sky Harbor) and shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is a la carte from a restaurant on site. I was under the impression it was inclusive. Nonetheless, it was an overnight trip and served the purpose needed.

Breakfast was good, hot, and the fresh ground coffee is wonderful! The towels needed to be upgraded or replaced. But the room was clean and comfortable.

Great, clean airport hotel! Beds were super comfortable. Nice breakfast too. My only complaint (which is minor) is the towels in the bathroom… they are the kind that don’t really dry you well, they are not absorbent. But that would not stop me from staying here again. They also have free parking during your stay, if needed. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I called to ask that they hold my room because my flight was very delayed and wouldn’t get in until after 12am. They agreed to hold it until 2am. I was thankful for that. What they failed to mention was that their shuttle stopped running at 11pm. I had no car seat and no way to get to the hotel, so I never got to check in. It would have been extremely useful and reduce a lot of frustration if I was offered that bit of information when I called. Even if I didn’t have a child with me, I would still need to know that I need to arrange a ride.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and parking was convenient. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would stay here again.

I just needed a hotel close to the airport for one night, and after staying there, I wish I was able to stay longer. Parking was ample, the hotel was well-kept, the room was wonderful and well-stocked, and the space was quiet. I was informed of a lot of amenities, but because of my short stay, I wasn't able to use them, but would have if I had been staying longer. I'd stay there again if the opportunity presented itself!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of flavor. Very impresses. Even with airport in the name of the hotel, there was no airport noise which made for great sleeping at night.

Breakfast was good. For the area and size of the property the rooms pool and gym okay. The front desk gave us a room that wasn’t ready so we need to go back to the front desk after going up the elevator and noticing are key didn’t work. Once back at the front desk they said oh your room is this one not that one like if it was my fault. No apologies just here’s a new room key.

The room and overall property was clean. It was also close to the local freeway so it is in a convenient location. Also very close to the airport so great for traveling. Old Town A toddle is only 18 minutes away. This is a great location. If you are visiting your ASU student, this place isn’t very far away from the campus, so you can enjoy a piece of ASU without the dormitory atmosphere.

The shuttle was easy. The room was clean and didn’t smell funny. The bed was comfy and I couldn’t have been happier to feel safe and clean and sleep so good after a torturous day.

Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, check in/out was easy, breakfast was excellent, shuttle service was nice, and beds were very comfortable. Only 2 minor complaints..there was some confusion and different answers from front desk about booking the service and the room we were in you could hear the traffic pretty loudly.

Four Points Sheraton is a very nice hotel. The room is very cozy and roomy, and the bed is so comfortable! The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is delicious! Four Points Sheraton is my go to hotel in Birmingham!

Breakfast was Awesome

A newer hotel by the airport. Very clean. We took the PHX Sky Train®. It is a free, 24/7 and connects the airport terminals to the Valley Metro Rail station (44th St/Washington). The hotel shuttle picked us up in 5 minutes and took us the short-remaining distance. Super easy.

The Customer service and the Amazing staff mademe feel safe amd welcomed. I will definitely book a room at this hotel again.

Very comfortable room and good breakfast and fresh ground coffee in the morning. Location was convenient for the airport and restaurants in the area. Only complaint was that a used wash cloth was left on top of the shower curtain rod.

The holiday inn served us well for our flight out of Phoenix. The room was nice and there is an airport shuttle or an easy drive back to the airport (though give yourself 15 minutes to get to the rental car return which is a little further than the terminals. Only reason I give it 3 -4 stars was that the planes taking off and landing were pretty audible and the breakfast did not have very healthy options. Strong smell of pork in the elevator during check out in the am (? the biscuits and gravy?).

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and tasty with eggs, sausage, pastry, toast, bagels and fresh brewed coffee. I'm giving this review 4 rather than 5 stars because: towels in the bathrooms are thin, breakfast is served with paper plates and plastic silverware. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel.

The location of this hotel to the places I had to go was excellent. Breakfast was top notch. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. The shuttle staff was excellent. The only issue was our room wasn’t cleaned one of the days.

Staff was friendly but our room was partially cleaned (bed and bathroom were cleaned but there were ironing boards left out, trash on the table and leftover food in the fridge). It was a little bit creepy so the staff offered to give us reward points in exchange (yet to recieve). Overall a good stay.

Breakfast menu smaller than many other IHG hotels, but did the trick. The place was clean, quiet, and provides a free airport shuttle - every guest there looked like they were on the way somewhere else. A definite stop-over for long layovers or late/early arrivals.

The staff upon arrival were excellent, it was the morning staff when checking out weren't very nice or caring. For the amount we pay a night, the Holiday Inn should comp water bottles, 2 bottle per day. I did use the washer and dryer, in this area, you need to have more then just one set of washer and dryer. Breakfast was excellent, parking was excellent as well as security. I wasn't award that I was a IHG member where I could have save more.

Went to included breakfast 30 min before scheduled closing and things were already not being restocked. Eggs were already empty. Rest very low.

However, the towels were yellow/brown with brown and black stains and did not feel clean after use. I asked the lobby to replace them, but I was still given towels that appeared dirty. It would also be helpful to have access to a water dispenser or be provided with bottled water during the stay. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but improving the towel quality and water access would make the experience much better.

The entire hotel was incredibly clean. Our room was spacious well decorated, and beds were made in towels refreshed every day food selection in the complementary breakfast was great quality. The best part was how incredibly friendly and accommodating. Every member of their staff was throughout our entire stay, the guest laundry was a great bonus as well.

The room had a non stop beeping noise all day and night that was very annoying. I couldn’t relax or sleep. Staff did absolutely nothing to fix the situation, as they told me there was no maintenance staff onsite, it was because the building is more than five years old and this is after they said someone would fix it. At one point staff told me just to unplug items where the noise was occurring however there were no plugs to unplug as they were embedded into the furniture

Great spacious room, clean and comfortable. Needed a pick up at 44th street station after taking our rental car back. They were very curteous and punctual in coming to get my husband and I. I prescheduled a ride to the airport that same night for 7 am in the morning. Again the front desk person was very curteous. I would definately stay here again.

The fact that the hotel shuttle stops running at 11 should be stressed!!! Also,when I booked this hotel, I looked through the pitures a d they show a hot tub connected to the pool. There is no hot tub. 😢

We had stayed at this Holiday Inn Express before and we chose it again because of it’s cleanliness, great rooms, good breakfast and it’s close proximity to downtown.

Only thing was we had a flight back home at 6am and wanted to return our car rental the night before to save time tge nexr morning so we could go straight to terminal and checked multiple times with hotel front desk that they could accommodate shuttle to airport network 3-4am, even checked again before handing out to drop off car when we got back and told them we would come down around 4am to be dropped off thet said shuttle didnt start will 5am so we had to find different transportation. We ended up having to pay for uber. Very poor communication and inconvenience been we had kids with us. If we were told this we would had kept car and then took sky train from car drop of lf to airport.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of great options, the lobby was comfortable and inviting, and the bed was lovely. I slept really well. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again.

The staff prepared breakfast bags for our very early checkout in order to catch up an early morning flight. Good operations!

Everything was great except our AC unit wouldn’t work from the wall unit, only the floor unit by the window, and it would shut off after running for only a minute or two. If I touched the buttons it would turn back on again, but only for a minute or two. Really frustrating and if you run only the fan then it doesn’t cool the room. We didn’t sleep that well because of this. My parents room didn’t have this problem. Otherwise everything was great!

Room was great. Loved the electric shades for the window. Bed was comfortable and spacious. Coffee maker in the room was convenient. Shuttle to the airport was comfortable and great to have.

The hotel is very close to the airport, and getting there in a taxi in the early morning was very quick. The gym is very well-equipped with exercise equipment.

No room key activated security in the elevator. A guy followed me into the elevator and used an expired key card to try to open four -five rooms on the fourth floor around 7-8pm.

Front desk staff was amazing. She helped me to correct an error and signed me up for rewards. Gave us information on local restaurants within walking distance. She was understanding and kind.

The coffee was ground fresh as you wait, and there was a great selection for breakfast. We really appreciated the airport shuttle. It was timely and the driver was pleasant. Kudos to the front desk for their efficiency and customer service skills.

We always book a room here when we use Sky Harbor Airport because we park at Pre-flight and it is just down the street. No fighting traffic on the freeways for early a.m. flights. Staff is always great and rooms are clean and comfortable

Airport shuttle was on demand and it was fast and efficient! It took all the anxiety of airport transferring! Breakfast was quick and sufficient. Overall, the staff was super efficient and welcoming for our very short stay!

I stay at Holiday INN all the time with my family. My daughter was the only 1 with us this trip. If breakfast is included-it should be for all paying guests & address allergies. Everyday the breakfast only had non dailry free options. There should be lactaid or oat milk, options for food to be prepared without milk. My daughter had to buy breakfast at starbucks everyday at $15/day. I think this should be compensated.

The breakfast is worthy of a return visit. The entire stay experience was clean, comfortable, convenient and I could go on and on. I visit Family in the Phoenix area 3-4 times yearly and this has been my place and will continue to be.

Breakfast was the best part. That being said pillows weren’t cleaned before arrival. Smelled of perspiration from former guests. Bed was worn out in places and could feel springs about to pop. Toilet ran entire time refilling every 15 minutes. Fridge must have been on last leg as it was extremely loud and rattled enough to wake you up in middle of the night. Bathroom area was clean.

We chose this hotel because of the "complimentary breakfast"and because it was close to the airport being that we had an early departure flight for 6am. Well, upon discovery, according to staff, the kitchen was "out of order" so there was no complimentary breakfast for the 1st two nights, instead, we had to walk across to the other hotel, where we can receive complimentary breakfast there- Cool. On the 3rd day, the kitchen was supposedly back functioning, however, any hot meals such as waffles, eggs etc. were not available because the items used to make them were broken, according to staff. Horrible! Just horrible. Hotel was short staffed as noticed by the dining area floor constantly stained and soiled. The area surrounding the hotel (after driving a block or two) are full of homeless drug seeking individuals. Overall, the staff on the property were very friendly and the rooms were clean.

This was advertised as an airport hotel. Not only was it at the end of a train line from the hotel, but after one arrived at the end of the line it was a 25 minute walk in a not so good neighborhood in the middle of the night. Moreover, the hotel shuttle bus did not operate in the early morning so I had to take an Uber back to the airport the next morning. No bottled water was supplied for the rooms and there were no food facilities apart from a few vending machines next to the check-in. This was not worth the price, and whatever they have put online about the hotel is false advertising. Buyer beware!

Very comfortable and affordable hotel! The cleaning crew did only clean our room once but that's ok, everything else made up for it! Free breakfast was actually really good and the pool was always clean! The room we stayed in was also very clean and so was the whole hotel! The staff is so accommodating and professional while being friendly and nurturing. I had a bad airline experience with 18 hrs of traveling, and the front desk managers were kind and helpful. They bent over backwards to make sure that I was taken care of. I appreciated their assistance.

On august 6th 2025 I travel to Phoenix to visit family and friends, my first time staying in a Holiday inn, and this was an amazing experience, everything was in perfect condition, all the employees at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, my only regret was the Phoenix weather was 117, but I'm sure the hotel couldn't do anything about that, hahaha.😂
