So I was approached and asked to explain. Well I couldn't explain what the other party had going on but as for us, we were at the splash pad and decided to get a room that I had a little difficulty obtaining due to deposit..... name on card, ID. I managed with the help of my son who works at Amazon. So the rude individual who helped with my second reservation had a issue with EVERYTHING and was very rude about it. Even asked me, " do not book another reservation here at my hotel " life happened and I called the front desk asking for 30minutes extra for checkout which I was denied. This woman came up screaming and yelling at me and threatened to call the police for a welfare check on my children. What does that have to do with my issue checking out?. Little did she know my kids father picked them up the night before and the only reason I had a room there was to spend time with my children in shelter. She got upset and threatened me with my children. So rude, ignorant, unfair, disrespectful and a low blow. I cried and I feel so ugly

The room was very clean and inviting and the staff were friendly and engaging. The breakfast was very good with a variety of food and drinks and lastly the parking was convenient.

Hot breakfast was a life saver for my busy day ahead.

If I could put more stars for the staff, I would. We were there because of a family member in hospital and then hospice. We came day and night and had to keep extending our stay. They were Phenomenal!! The amenities were great and the breakfast options were above and beyond. The rates were very reasonable and the swimming pool on the roof made it seem like we were away from it all. And the location was great too quick shopping areas and medical facilities were all within a few mins drive. But I would come back just for the staff.

The property was clean and well maintained. But I did not like the fact that there was no microwave in our bedroom. The king's size mattress was very lumpy. And the room was pretty bare.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the whole place smells great. Every time we left the room we came across someone cleaning. Someone was vacuuming the halls, the front tiles, the elevator and mopping the tiles in all the hallways. I am used to seeing that in the morning after checking out but this was happening all throughout the day and night. The staff was helpful with the few questions we had. The breakfast had alot of variety I was nicely surprised. I highly recommend this location if you are looking to stay in the area.

Location Having to pay for self-parking. Also, I left my ipad charger on the bedside outlet near the window and it wasn’t found by housekeeping. It could be the next guest found it and kept it.

I enjoyed the breakfast. It was never too crowded, and I was able to enjoy the food by myself. The staff were very friendly, they always acknowledged us when we arrived back from going out. The first night, we had to park in the garage. It was close by, but I hurt my foot recently, and it was far.

The staff was very courteous, especially the breakfast attendants. The breakfast was very good with many options. Thank you for a great stay.

Stayed here for a girls weekend. Very clean hotel, breakfast was great and the pool was amazing. The only negative was parking. There is not a lot of parking in front of the hotel but there is a free parking garage near by. You have to be careful where you park or you will be towed. Will definitely stay here again.

I was in 309 the traffic was bad specially Saturday night there was a racing up and down that street kids to hollering and screaming in the streets it was very noisy I didn’t sleep very well but everything was clean your staff was good it was just hard to sleep on that side

The hotel was very nice, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great with a good variety. The staff is nice and very accommodating. But…. Please be aware that the location is across the street from businesses and a sports bar. The hotel parking was VERY limited and many times people going to the bar would take up the spots. We were told there were designated spots in the ramp garage across the street. That was very disappointing and irritating since it required going up and down stairs just to get to your car.

I really enjoyed this property. It was clean and had a few nice touches. I really enjoyed the had soap and hand lotion at the sink and the shower gel in the shower. They were a really nice scent and felt really good. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was really nice and comfortable. The Breakfast!!! The breakfast was amazing! Belgin Waffles, pancake maker, turkey sausage, plant based sausage, eggs, english muffns and fixins to make a mc muffin, oatmeal, muffins, breakfast potatoes, cereal, fruit, milk, juice, coffee & tea. I'm sure I forgot something but you get my point. It was amazing!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

Pool was NOT heated. Not much parking around hotel, had to park in 2nd level of parking lot across from building. Would stay again.

The room was small but well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are very firm, which is not to my liking. I asked for a bed topper and they said they don’t have them.

Tru assisted us with last minute reservations, & let us keep our same room for an additional night. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Also, the hotel was close to mortgage matchup center, so it was very covenant & made our trip so much more fun & stress free. Breakfast was good & the front desk receptionists were very helpful & nice.

When I informed the reception she said “but you are checking out tomorrow and anyway the cleaning people already left. When I called next day early morning a different person answered and said “ok, but you are checking out in a few hours” no solution was offered like having a different room, a discount not even an apology, maybe just saying “I am sorry” could have done a difference. So I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody, a dirty room is unacceptable but the way the handle it was awful

Tru by Hilton was a nice property. Very clean. Nice staff. Modern and nice rooms. The free breakfast was very nice. It was across the street from the metro train and walkable to a Starbucks and a few restaurants.

The front desk staff was especially friendly. There were several dining options nearby and easy access to the metro.

We enjoyed the very clean and nicely decorated room after a long flight in from Europe. Everything was very quiet and we rested well in the very comfortable bed. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

My first room the TV didn't work so they moved us to another room. Well they was nice but we ended up with a room the had no mirror and the bathroom door kept getting stuck.

This is a GREAT spot to stay if you are doing things in downtown, very EASY transportation and convenient dining options!

Upon arrival in the room, there was pieces of hair in the shower/wall and a cluster of eye lashes on the floor by the mini fridge. Other than that the location was great. Quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly. I felt safe.

We were very surprised how surface dirty our room was. Property and hotel was really nice but when we noticed the lack of attention to cleaning it disappointed us. Hair in our sheets, dirt and hair in the corners of the floors, half a** mop job and beverage rings and drips on the tables. Not sure how clean the deep cleaning would be with these signs.

Breakfast was great, very well presented. The kitchen staff work tirelessly and they were impeccable... Thr location is nice, the interior design and decor were on point ? ... I wouldn't call it family friendly because of certain guests and their behavior. But that's just my ethics and preferences. I didn't like the bed in the room. They would need better bed. Also an 8 fl.Oz bottle of water for $3.00 is absurd. The overall staff was very nice but a couple of them in the night shift will need a little more training in Customer service...

Our check-in was late but staff immediately took care of it and gave us points towards a future stay.

It was a great hotel. I just didn't like the parking situation. There was parking available in a parking garage across from the hotel but its not very well lit or secure. I had to pass by a man sitting exit at the top of the stairs of the parking area. I was carrying my suitcase, purse and trying to hurry and navigate those stairs. Not enjoyable 😒 Also, when i selected directions from the email, i was routed to a totally different area! I was routed to 1st ave in the down town area of Phoenix, somewhere by the police station! I had to manually enter the address into google maps and then the correct location showed up. Not a great experience 😕

My stay was good. I just did not like the parking fee. They charged me nightly. There was not enough parking and I had to park on the roof and still paid $10. A night.

Location isn’t great if you are looking to walk around. Not much to do in the area. However, the hotel is clean and comfortable. Nice rooftop pool. Parking ok, small lot and then ramp of lot is full (which is usually is). Ice machine didn’t work well. Breakfast is a plus.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to more.

Perfect for our needs - super clean and all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good and rooms were nice and wide/big. Didn’t use the pool or workout facilities because we weren’t at hotel much but when we were it fit our budget and needs so well. Bargain for the level of service and amenities and location. 13min to Airport and 5min to main strip of shopping and stores.

The front desk staff around 11pm was kinda rude when talking us that we need to use our room key to get in. Instead of politely coaching us on how to enter the hotel.

I checked in there because of a surgery next-door at Saint Joseph’s so I needed a little late checkout and they extended my check out at 12 noon which was very much appreciated since I’m a Hilton honors member since 1996.,,,, But the hospital changed my date of surgery and between EXPEDIA and Hilton. They charged me just to change the date dates being a Hilton honors member since 1996. I thought they might be a little more gentle so I do resent the fact. Just by changing the two dates up one day they wanted to financially grab me not happy.

Travel plans changed at the last minute and they were super accommodating. Located walking distance to many conveniences. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and efficient. Rooms were were clean and well stocked and comfortable. Perfect for our stay. If our trip was longer I would have wanted to room larger but we did a college drop off so quick return home. The room was comfortable and sufficient for that type of stay. Will definitely stay here again if we visit again.

Clean hotel. Staff was fine until misunderstanding led to General Manager's decision to not accept reservation based on situation that was assumed to be spousal/relationship spat between myself and a guest VS. Friendship Shade 😎 that situation actually was. When Gen Manager refused to acknowledge assumptions weren't valid and her tone became judgmental and rude. POOR CUSTOMER SVC by someone who as they are in Management..should of handled situation more pofessionally. I dont speak to my own son the way this woman just degraded, and infantanozed and judged me DESPITE THE FACTS : THEY DID NOT Witness the interaction/INCIDENT themself, staff assumed spat or negativity that was non exixlst. NOT the service I've had before and expect fron the Hilton brand family name. Very off-brand and a hope she learns from this.

Bed was too soft, otherwise, okay.

The bottom of the shower was very dirty and had hairs all over it. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned whatsoever. Everything else about the room and stay was fine.

Parking situation quite horrible. Only aboit 20 spaces in the lot, and then you had to park on the roof of a parking garage and walk down the metal stairs. In 120 degree heat in aphoenix in summer. No handicap access. Breakfast was fine but attendant said there was no way to get water to drink, then i found a water dispenser in the hallway. Just annoying.

I liked the location and the facilities I disliked the customer service from employees, truly disappointed with my stay due to that. First of all check in is at 3pm and we got there at 4pm. Our room wasn’t even ready. Plus we had to wait for it to be clean and ready. No positive attitude whatsoever.

We checkin and get our room and we are on the Main Street side. The road noise from car's, motor cycle,s and the trolly car that ran till 2 AM was terrible. plus the A/C unit was very loud every time it cycled on. I was unable to fall asleep till 4am. The hotel knows this they have ear plug in the room. The next morning I went to the front desk, and explained I could not open a second night there and asked to cancel my second night. I was told that they would know about the noise and are talking too the city, like that will correct the problem. I was told they would not cancel my second night. I left and found a fantastic hotel , the Renaissance Inn in Glendale Az. See attached picture of their solution to the street noise. Never again Tru by Hilton

Hotel was lit, rooftop swimming pool say no more. Amazing views, great location, 1 pool table occupied. Lots of time for Jammy Time!

Great clean property, food close by!

I went down to the front desk and asked if I could change to Home 2 and the people at the desk started to work with me to see if they can make that happen. During this time, a manager came out and asked what the situation was. I was approached with an attitude by that person with them making the assumption that I was demanding something from them. I explained that I just asked if it could be done and wasn't demanding anything. I was told I could do it but it would cost significantly more to make the change. If I would have been told that up front, I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes trying to work something out. Everyone else at this facility was polite and very helpful. The facilities are nice other than the size of the rooms at Tru, I think the experience would have been much better had the one person who I assume was a manager tried to understand the situation before making judgement. 99% of the staff were great but it was somewhat ruined by that experience.
