Econo Lodge Pigeon Forge Riverside

It was an enjoyable stay by the river. We loved watching the geese and the ducks and their broods although I was concerned for their saftey since they were resting in the parking lot in the afternoon and evening.

The hotel had a convenient location and the kids loved the pool area. The seating along the creek behind the hotel was a nice spot to relax as well.

Room was clean and comfortable. i had a room outside the pool so it was very loud until 23:30 which kept my little boy from getting to sleep. but overall the staff was great room was nice breakfast was good. so cant complain to much.

The tv wouldn't work so I went to the front desk. The representative provided me with a key for a next door room to move into the following day. I asked if I would be disturbed in the morning to which the agent advised no. The following morning a staff member entered our room unannounced at 8:00 am only to quickly leave. Then later another employee beat on the door prior to 10:00 am and asked if I was moving rooms. The do not disturb sign was up on both occasions. When I called the front desk to share my experience the agent was unhelpful and unapologetic. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else!

The staff here was very nice. That was the only thing I liked about my stay here. When I arrived, ducks swarmed my car before I could even open my car door. I didn’t mind the ducks though. Inside of my room the smoke detector was going off nonstop. Maintenance came and had to replace the whole thing. The toilet was loud and made a sound long after flushing. Things were coming up from the sink when I was washing my hands. The room had no WiFi and I couldn’t get any reception from my cell phone. I was extremely tired after driving 8 hours so I spent the night there but I decided to cancel the rest of my reservation and check out in the morning but the staff was really nice about it. They are going through a renovation and hopefully things improve there soon.

Staff was friendly but not very professional. Front desk staff was wearing a raggedy tank top. Room was clean but wall plugs were so loose that anything plugged in immediately fell out.

Hot tub was nice, pool was clean, towels are small, needs are comfortable, we had one of the new renovated rooms. Cable sucks, TV remote was hard to operate, breakfast was good, get the river side, I brought my camp chair and sat down along the bank

I booked this stay with the understanding that the property was undergoing refurbishments. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the internet and Wi-Fi were completely non-functional, and the TV in our room was unusable. When I sought assistance on June 8th, I was asked to spend 30 minutes on the phone with IT myself, only to be told the issue required a simple system reset by your maintenance team. Despite this, no action was taken. When I requested a room change that evening, I was told it was not possible. Furthermore, the staff claimed the entire building's Wi-Fi was down, yet I was able to connect to the lobby Wi-Fi without issue. This lack of transparency, combined with being told to check back every hour for updates, was unacceptable. Due to the lack of resolution, we ultimately handed in our keys and checked out early at 8:00 PM that night. In addition to the technical failures, the room was outdated and poorly maintained; we found dead insects near the microwave and in the bathroom, and the bathroom vent fan was non-functional. While your staff remained polite, their refusal to provide a solution or a room change was deeply frustrating. Given that we had to cut our trip short.

Very clean room, hot tub and pool was awesome. The ladies at check in were very sociable and were very helpful. Unfortunately didn’t wake up in time for breakfast but overall a very nice stay and would come back in the future.

Although the hotel is under renovations, it was a great stay!! Very clean, pleasant staff and the river out back is great to sit by!

Wifi only worked a couple of days a lot of construction going on front desk people just about useless "I don't know" was a very popular phrase asked 4 times for fire pit to be lit 3 days no fire pit asked 4 days for wifi to be fixed never fixed gave us key cards to wrong room where someone else was staying could have stolen all there stuff and now hoped that they didn't give some a card to our room,came back on Saturday and found the staff checked us out early so another trip to front desk new keys. The maids and housekeepers did a good job very friendly and pleasant the room that had been redone seem very nice but the front desk is a mess went to the pool and the same staff had their kids in the pool till late at night not a huge pool to begin with so a little awkward at best . The breakfast staff very pleasant breakfast was always hot and enjoyed the sweet tea in with the OJ dispenser was great.

The check in was very easily done when we arrived. The room was clean and nice. The housekeeping staff were very nice and did a good job. Breakfast was good each day, would like to have had waffles, pancakes, maybe a day as a choice.I have to say it was a good night s sleep each night, very comfortable beds. My only complaint would be that the property near the river was not well maintained. There were chicken bones and trash under the picnic table , it needed mowed, weed eated better ,and maybe pressure wash thesidewalks and parking lot in places. It would have been more welcoming to walk on. Getting geese mess on your shoes and watching every step you take is not very enjoyable. The shelter with the picnic tables was very clean and nice. The walkways to your room should have been cleaned occassionally too. It is a good location .

The property was clean. The staff was great. We enjoyed everything about our stay. If I’d change anything I would like to have seen better breakfast options.

We liked the river side access, the 🔥 hot tub, clean swimming pool without the strong chlorine smell, and the breakfast. We didn't Iike the wifi speed, the one broken ice machine, we also didnt like any of the breakfast drinks that where offered. The worst thing was people leaving trash by the river overnight on the sidewalks, sitting areas, and in the river. We came out there every morning and picked up the trash. They should have someone come out before daylight and clean up from the day before. But with all this said we will definitely be staying here the next time we visit pigeon forge. If I could recommend one thing to a visitor is do not stay in a room facing the pool, AKA The Thurder Dome!

Room was clean. Our son really enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Walkable to activities, but quiet at night.

I love that the rooms are always clean, good hot breakfast. The outside walkways make the hotel look dirty. The grills are dirty looking as well. But this is always my first choice to stay at.

Air conditioner squeaked. Dirty towel in floor upon initial entry. Cigarette butts all over sidewalk. Garbage around stairwell. Workers had music blaring which came through vents made it very annoying

ALMOST everything and everyone were great. However, I was greatly depending on having wi-fi to do evening work while enjoying my trip. The wi-fi worked for 20 minutes when I first arrived and then wasn't available for the rest of my trip. I actually had to checkout at 5:45am instead of waiting until later, so I could get home to complete the things I had expected to work on during my stay at the hotel. Great room, great staff, but for people like me the wi-fi is a deal breaker. Will not stay again for that reason.

Loved how up to date our room was, very clean, just the right amount of furniture, mattress was just ok but appreciated the nice bedding. Kids loved the pool area. It’s a great hotel for the price very walkable to many eateries and other things to do. Breakfast was good with a nice variety to choose from. Staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly. My only complaint was road noise , next time I will be sure to request a room on the back side of the property.

This property was a bit older but still nice enough for a night or two. The towels were a bit stained. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast could have had a few more offerings but did have hot items. Easy to walk to eating establishments.

Helpful staff very nice poor super clean, remodeled rooms

Out back there is a beautiful creek flowing by and you can see ducks, geese & birds. It’s so serene and you could just sit there for hours soaking up the sunshine & sound of nature while you read a book. This hotel is so close to many attractions & restaurants that you can even walk to them if you wanted to.

We loved the new floors in our room and how excellent the staff were. However, next time I will ask for a room without an adjoining room door because we could hear too much coming from the neighboring room through that door.

Perfect place to stay while in Pigeon Forge. Extremely clean, very well kept, and very convenient to all of the attractions.

Staff was not friendly. Rooms were not updated. Breakfast has limited offerings. People smoke right outside your door which makes you smell like smoke. The riverside was full of duck and geese poop so you couldn’t barely walk without stepping in it.

Do not stay here! Refused to accommodate our connecting rooms even after calling before booking and having it in writing. Refused to give any sort of credit for the inconvenience and for taking over an hour to check in. Tried to cancel and go to a hotel that would accommodate and manager refused to give us our money back so held us hostage over several hundred dollars. Maintenance showed up to our mom’s room at 11:30 at night scaring her for no reason. The AC units in our “renovated” rooms were so loud you couldn’t hear tv or sleep. People smoking all around you outside of your room so you can’t go anywhere without smelling like smoke. Very disappointed with the manager who would not even call to discuss options with me after requesting.

The rooms were very clean and nice. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The only thing we didn’t like was how small the pool and jacuzzi was. It stayed full the whole time day and night. But everything else was great. Oh and we loved the breakfast but our kids wished they at least had waffles or pancakes. We will definitely be staying there again! Price was great.

Our room was clean (they cleaned it every day of our stay). The second day our shower head broke and maintenance was there within 15 minutes of telling the front desk. We went to get ice for our cooler and by the time we came back… he had replaced it.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. They freshened up our room every day and there was coffee in the lobby. I like being able to go out back and sitting and enjoy the river and the ducks and the geese. Everything quiet back there. ❤️ They put us in a room this time on the second floor in the area that encloses the pool while the pool hours are not over until 11 o’clock. There was a lot of noise we could not sleep especially one family that was there too closing at 11 every night there was yelling and screaming. The kids were throwing things. There was loud noise popping. We could not get any rest until close to midnight night. While I appreciate the free breakfast, it would be nice to change the menu up. Sometimes I even ask about it. The cereal was more kid friendly. I would say raisin bran Cheerios and Froot Loops. They have the same cooked sausage every morning. I feel they should expand it adding waffles or pancakes maybe change up the meat from that awful sausage to maybe some Canadian bacon real bacon something it got old quick.

Nothing at all, it was awful. I didn’t like anything about this property. Room smelt like smoke, cigarette bud on the floor. Switched rooms and dirt all in the bed and even a bug. We checked out immediately and lost our money. Absolutely one of the worst hotels. Do NOT stay here.

Check in was a joke. The front desk girl was interrupted as she was checking is on by 2 motel workers that wanted to gossip about other employees of motel, the front desk girl could not complete our check on due to this interruption. Someone else completed. Rooms were remodeled from our previous visit but furniture in rooms was not placed in convenient spots to maximize space. TV would not work,no information in room on how to operate the TV or TV system.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet , comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were well maintained and stocked with towels. Breakfast was okay. The kids were a little disappointed that there were no waffles. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would choose the same hotel again.

It is not a 5 star hotel but it is kept clean and well maintained accept for the TV programming does not function properly and others we talked to had the same TV malfunction going on so if I had to guess I would say it was the entire hotel was without TV throughout our stay. They were renovating some of the rooms and the construction on that was kept tidy.

The tv was next to impossible to fiqure out. Very loud if your in the front room by the parkway. Breakfast was average. The alarm clock woke us up at 5am very loud we didnt set it🙄

Overall the property was clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were great, pool water was warm. Breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The riverwalk and gazebo area with grills was nice. I do wish there were signs not to feed the geese/ducks bread (there were faded signs that said not to feed them at all, but bread is especially bad for them).

Upon check in my room was ready and we walked down to realize we had been assigned a room on the outer street side of the hotel. I was a bit confused as the photos I saw when booking seemed like the rooms were all indoor facing the pool/atrium, not facing the street. For safety reasons, I prefer to not have a door to my room on the outside of the building with easy street access. I went back to the front desk and asked if I could change rooms to have an indoor room and the staff were very accommodating and took care of that. The indoor pool and hot tub were great and was heated nicely. Having the microwave and fridge was a nice touch, although we did not use it as we only stayed one night passing through. There was plenty of storage and counter space and breakfast was cooked with scrambles eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits along with other options of bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice etc. The down side was that several ice machines were not working and had to search to find one that worked. Also, the curtain didn’t close all the way on one side and there was a bright light that shined into the room but we were able to sort of rig a pillow and wedge it into the curtain area to block the light. The bed was comfortable, however at nearly midnight something outside of our room in the atrium area started making noise and there was a beeping noise every 30 seconds ALL night long and I couldn’t sleep. It was unfortunate as this was a good hotel and everything else was great.

Hotel was very clean. They appear to be undergoing a remodel and I believe we had a newly updated room, as all the furnishings were in top shape. We had a difficult time figuring out the TV operation and remote use. The pool area is large and well maintained, with lots of pool towels available. Heated pool, baby pool and a nice hot tub. The breakfast was the usual stuff, but at least it was a hot breakfast. Mattress and bedding was comfy; water pressure was weak but I think that's the norm in Pigeon Forge. Nice mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker in room. Linens changed every 3 days you stay, but we did have housekeeping come in daily and replace dirty towels and empty trash, whcich was a nice surprise.

Employees seemed very friendly, but not at first glance. Once you have a conversation with them, they're all super nice. Room was pretty small and I wondered if the comforter was actually clean, but overall it seemed decently clean. Coffee was good. Breakfast was the same everyday - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Not bad. Pool area has clean towels for you to use. The place is pretty run down overall but very affordable.

Econo lodge in Pigeon Forge is affordable and convenient to all attractions and restaurants. We’ve stayed there many times and will stay there again on our next visit.

Great location, great pool and hot tub, rooms are large! The bed we had was terrible, husband and I both were unable to sleep and hurting in the morning.

Need to offer bagels and cream cheese

Hotel was under renovation while we stayed. Luck of the draw with this, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. We specifically booked this hotel because of the river walk and pavilion in the back. 6 cargo containers, a dumpster and a telescopic forklift were parked out back and we were awakened early each morning by renovations to nearby rooms. Fridges and microwaves stored on the other side of our rooms wall was not fun to hear being piled up. Room cleanliness was good and the staff was friendly and kind.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good and the room was clean, staff was also very friendly and helpful, we did not use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. We had an issue with our key at first, but Phiney (I think was her name) helped us. The access to the river was the best part, we got our temp fishing license and caught a couple of fish. We enjoyed feeling so close to nature while right in the middle of everything, nice to sit back and watch the ducks and geese in a tranquil area. We will definitely stay here again. This place is a GEM!

My card was IMMEDIATELY hacked upon signing into the WiFi. I paid extra for a River view view and got a view of a travel bus. I asked for handicap accessible room and was the 2nd floor. I had to pay for three nights in separate transactions and my keys did not work for the last night.

Breakfast wasn’t as good as previous stays. Hot tub and pool was nice and clean. Only third floor ice machine was working but didn’t Have signs explaining this, just telling you we’re all of them were located. Bed could have been more comfortable but was very clean.

The breakfast was ok since the meal prices were high so it helped the exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom. They’re doing construction on the building and only half of it is done with some rooms in bad poor condition. My wife said there was a smell, but I couldn’t smell it because I had a cold other than that everything was fine and the staff was nice they did clean the room after one night

The rooms are outdated. You don't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. The walls are paper-thin. We could hear the arguments the couple was having next to us. It says no smoking, but it doesn't stop people from smoking outside there room. Our sink was cracked and broken. The bathroom door looked like someone had to break into it to open. Overall it wasn't worth what we paid.

My vacation was great the hotel was nice and clean location was great the only thing I felt should improve is breakfast they had no waffles or bagels and not many options to choose same breakfast everyday

I personally prefer inside access to my hotel rooms when I travel, but these were outside access more like a large motel. Pool area was nice, but there were SEVERAL furnishing items placed all over the outside of the property because of an apparent update they are going through. Bed was very comfortable in my opinion. Breakfast was typical, but included and appreciated. Some creepy older lady (assuming a hotel guest) was very intrusive and overly interested in my 4 year old daughter while we were at the pool. Had to get the kids out and was ready to become physically defensive toward her. Fortunately, we were very observant and were steps ahead of her. Crazy old coot started chanting and saying something as we were walking out. Keep your kids safe! Major tourist area!

Our toilet leaked and they refused to move our room. This was very frustrating and unsanitary. Also the beds were very uncomfortable. Pool and hot tub was nice as well as breakfast.

Location. Older but clean. Can walk to several attractions and restaurants.

Wonderful hotel. We have stayed here more than ten times. It is located close to a trolley stop and the back of the property is on the water.

I was a little disappointed and would have liked the fire pit to be more close to the hotel. It felt a little isolated and not with the hotel . The fire pit was also a bit to high . Didn’t have chairs around the fire pit to relax . But did have picnic tables to sit at . The pool and hot tub was amazing . It’s indoor heated pool with a kiddie pool as well. Breakfast was good as well .

The breakfest was ok. The pool is small but big enough for the kids. The bathroom in our room was dirty. We stayed for a week and had to ask housekeeping to clean the room. Overall, our stay was fine.

Great Breakfast and pool area!

The room we stayed in was not yet renovated as they are renovating the entire property but I will say that it truly didn’t need renovated yet . The room was clean and the hotel itself was very clean. The pool was open until 11:00 nightly which means you can go out on the town, do any of the endless things to do and still come back and spend time relaxing in the hot tub while the kids are swimming.

Room was iffy, staff was good, breakfast wasn’t the best, hot tub didn’t even bother to try.

We stayed 3 nights. I was here for a work trip (comic con vendor) and brought my son (4yo). My son had just been couped up in the car for 7 hours and was a ball of energy, the check in employee was incredibly patient. He was even more patient when I locked myself out of the room a mere hour later. Room looked great and very good price!

The staff was attentive to our needs when we had issues. I was pleaseantly surprised at the room rate with all the amenities. We will definitely stay there when we visit Pigeon Forge again.

The breakfast menu should have more variety. Each day it could be different options, the three days we stayed was the same menu. Everything others were wonderful. 10/10

Clean room enjoyed my stay.

The WiFi was slow and intermittent in the room, but worked well from two blocks away. Loud trash pick up or construction started before 7am every morning. There was an overwhelming smell of pot, but that’s an issue most places you stay. The breakfast and coffee were great and the pool looked nice. Also, we paid for an upgraded room but were informed when we got there they did not save one for us, however they would not refund the upgrade fee, and told us to contact Hotels.com. We did, but Hotels.com was less than helpful and we had to eat the extra cost. Will not use them again for a long, long time, if ever and we will never stay at an Econolodge again. You get what you pay for, however this place is not worth the cost.

Hot breakfast daily. Renovated rooms are nice. Indoor Pool is nice. Hotel is being renovated and they start EARLY. If I had one complaint, it would be that. They start as early as 7:00 with room construction noise. It got very old during our 5 night stay. Very convenient location.

So nice having breakfast on the property. We loved the river in the back, our kids loved checking out the ducks. Also love the indoor pool, nice and warm in there!

Clean room

The breakfast was subpar, was hard to get a turn in the hot tub due to people hanging out in it drinking alcohol for long periods of time, rented 2 rooms that were supposed to be adjoined they were not and was 4 rooms apart. Very displeased

Negative: Breakfast is good but menu remained same for all 5days we stayed which is so boring. They said room is remodel led but microwave is not cleaned(but replaced with new one immediately). Overall good place for stay

This was a spring break trip. It was what I expected. They are working on updating the rooms, we stayed on city side. I feel they are smaller than they were. We had trouble with air conditioning and noise. Other than that is was ok.

Just wish somewhere to hang wet clothes after swimming and no hangers in closets . On street side so very noisy . Staff was great !

We had an interior room which overlooked the indoor pool and hot tub area. If these room had extra soundproofing within the doors or something I don’t think it would’ve been to bad. We went to sleep and woke up to all sorts of noice coming from the pool area. Very loud. Breakfast was okay.

The stay was as expected, however my family and I were placed under a room with renovations going on. So at 7-8 in the morning, we were woken up by drilling and hammering when we were supposed to be relaxing and sleeping in. This even happened on Easter morning, I called the front desk - Laura answered, and when I explained I had a 9 month old baby in the room she brushed me off, and told me that they would be done soon. The next day was the same thing, so I had to call and request a room change. I just felt that whomever did the room assignments didn’t take their guests into consideration.

Kids loved the pool and the breakfast was great!

Did not even stay. Took one look around and left. Room locked like it was not even clean. Beds looked dirty and bedding looked unwashed. Beds extremely uncomfortable. They also wanted 100$ down and then charged my credit card 270$ after the fact. I am still hoping to get my money back.

Very friendly staff. Loved the laundry facility, i didn't get to use thw pool but seemed to be maintained properly. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of parking.

Horrible- upon checking in they didn’t have our rooms available and had trouble putting us somewhere even though we booked a month and a half in advance. This was supposed to be our honeymoon and when we finally got into our room there was pee and toilet paper in our toilet and dirty used disposable cups on our counter. When we told the front desk they laughed and said “ it must’ve been house keeping that used your room” - didn’t offer to have them come to clean it ! Our bed was like and elephant had slept on it and big sink holes on each side. We were woke up at 6am to beating and banging and saws and hammers above us by a construction crew. The site did NOT post that they were under construction or we would have NEVER booked this place. They moved us the next day to a few doors down where the air conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off every time it kicked on. My cousin who also booked the same time as us and was also staying there were told they had to move rooms bc they had rented the room out to someone roast for the rest of the week. Their lock on the door was broke and maintenance was called multiple times to fix it. Their water pressure wouldn’t even wash the soap off of their body when they took showers. The property had mattresses piled up and furniture piled up The breakfast was cold and not good at all. I will not ever stay here again nor recommend this place

Drove into parking lot in back, mattress pile and other room junk. I rented room as along river, but a pile of mattresses not appealing. Room had clean linen and surface clean, but lamp shade tops, bathroom edging, light switch top sticky, dirt dust. Breakfast space clean, well maintained. Was told hotel being remodeled and only half done. For price and not there during day at all worked fine. Would be nice to have water fountain to fill water bottle.

Rooms are small but are for the most part pretty clean. The pool is only open till 11pm. Adults over 18 should be allowed to use it anytime as my suggestion. The breakfast was ok. Not much to choose from. No pancakes or waffles and we always see either one when we stay at a hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast had lots of choices including protein. The room was clean and quiet and staff was friendly. The only complaint at all was the people smoking outside of the room instead of in the smoking areas. At times our room smelled like smoke as a result.

Only complaint is the big loud carts house keeping rolls on the sidewalk. The wheels need to be rubber so they are not so loud. That starts around 8 am!

It was a pleasant place.

The bed was extremly firm much stiffer than expected made it hard to sleep. We were placed in a room by the pool, it was noisy as it was a lower floor beside it. We didnt ask for a differnet room due to it looked as if they were remodeling and possibly wouldnt have had another room. But it was clean and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good, hubby said coffee was great. They just need to get at least a soft topper or foam topper or mattresses for their beds.

Refrigerator not cold, wifi would not stay on, floor was dirty, spilled water on floor when cleaned up rag was black, usually we request 2nd or 3rd floor but had 1st floor and it was noisy from cleaning buggies. When we stayed b4 they had more for breakfast but maybe it was because there weren’t many people there. Beds are comfortable, employees are the best shower is outstanding. Breakfast items they had were good! Prices are good too.

The room was decent, the things that were annoying or made us uncomfortable was that at night there is blue lights outside. Those are usually used at places where a lot of drug addicts will use needles in the light will keep them from seeing their veins which this made us very uncomfortable so we didn’t really go outside unless we left to go somewhere. Another thing is if you’re planning on sleeping in it probably won’t happen. The beds aren’t very comfortable into top it off. You just hurt people going back-and-forth past your room with big carts as soon as the sun came up which happened nonstop so we are very thankful to get back home.

The place was clean had the free breakfast, the heated indoor pool/kiddie pool and hot tub, some games it was close to all the attractions where you could either walk or do a short drive. We had the king size bed room which the room itself was a pretty nice set-up kinda reminded me of like a mini studio apartment and i have no idea of his name but some older gentleman checked me in and he was pretty friendly

This is the second year in a row my family and I has stayed here for NYE. For us, the large pool and hot tub were a huge factor! Another big reason we chose to come back was because after we checked out last year, I received a call that we had left some personal items behind. Fortunately, we were still in town and were able to swing by and pick it up. Well, we left some t guns breeding this year as well; however, we were already back home when they called to let us know. For a very reasonable cost, they have shipped our personal items to us. I’m nearly 50 and have stayed in plenty of hotels. This is the only hotel that has ever done this! When you have kids, it’s so easy to pack up and not realize things are hiding under covers, etc! While we were there, e bought a game that required two AA batteries. The hotel was kind enough to not only give us some batteries, but unscrew the back of the game so we could insert the batteries. Little things like this MATTER!

Breakfast was fresh, just not much variety. And yes hot tub was hot overall it was a good stay and we had a blast in pigeon forge

Clean, pools were clean . Breakfast was hotel breakfast, doable . The bathrooms were clean, and the hot water was hot , even after the 3rd person’s shower. It’s definitely a hotel and motel. My kids had to run around the corner and down the hall to get to the elevator after the pool. I would book again and ask for an indoor room if possible.

The room was nice, beds were more comfortable than I expected, a sink outside the bathroom was a great feature so people could utilize both at the same time. However, the layout of the pool and accessing it are terrible. I receved an upgrade and was able to choose between "creek side" or "pool side", and was told that I'd be indoor near the pool on the second floor. While technically correct, I still had to go outside in the 20-degree weather to ride an elevator, then go back inside to the pool, then repeat that after swimming. Absolutely horible design. The glass doors that seperate indoor/outdoor need to be moved beyond the elevators. Otherwise, location is good and the stay was not bad.

Room was pretty clean. Some random floss was on the floor. Kind gold gross but besides that, the room was very clean. Breakfast hosts were super friendly, but it was the same thing 3 days in a row so it got old by day 2. Overall not a bad place to stay at all. We would stay again. Location was great also.

Clean establishment, priced perfect, nice pool and hot tub. Stayed 4 nights and they cleaned room every day without asking. Warm breakfast that was well staffed for the large number of guests. We are coming back again!

Room was dirty and outdated. Crumbs on counter. Linens were dirty. Sink leaked. Drain flies thst wouldn't go away. Randy was not helpful. Maintenance eventually fixed the leak but they seemed to lack the knowledge to do it properly. However, they were the friendliest of all staff encountered.

The hotel was a nice cozy place to stay! My daughter and grandson enjoyed the heated pool and clean hot tub! Breakfast was hot and always filled for all to enjoy! All staff from the front desk to house keeping we nice and inviting! The little river In the back provided a peaceful touch with some wildlife to enjoy. I sometimes do cabins or vrbos but I really enjoyed the pricing and how this was around several places in the area to enjoy right in town!

Check in guy was very nice, explained and showed us where our room was compared to the breakfast room. Our rooms were on the main floor, nice a quiet. We walked across the parking lot to walk along the river, there was a fire pit to sit around, we ate dinner there. Our 3 night stay was very nice

They served the same breakfast everyday of our stay,the pool area all you smell was chlorine that gave you a major headache. There was no ventilation in the pool area,the pool towels were so small like hand towels for your kitchen. The ice machines did not work. The dryer we have to dry our clothes 2 times because the dryer was not hot enough. We had carpet in our room and the carpet had pieces missing.

Staff was very friendly & hotel was very clean!! Only issues were toilet was maybe the noisiest & longest running I’ve witnessed in a while!! Second, the min fridge was installed under bathroom area vanity and stuck out in floor at an angle!! Very painful when you stubbed you toe on it!!! Overall though I really liked the hotel!!

We had a great stay! The staff was friendly, attentive and professional. Breakfast was hot and fully-stocked every day. The pool was warm and clean! Housekeeping kept our rom spotless and we always had all of the amenities we needed. The location was also nice and quiet—despite there being many families there it was not noisy. Also it was walking distance to the Christmas store, the Island—and if you wanted you could even take the trolley to Gatlinburg from the Island (if you didn’t have a car) OR take the walking trail from the Island over to the Old Mill shopping area. Wonderful location, great staff, clean, family-friendly atmosphere. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Got to the room unpacked everything come to find out the toilet flooded the bathroom and had to pack everything and more rooms. Room we moved to was not the best on clean items on the floor and a wash cloth on table. We should have got one night back paid if not both.

It was an ok place to stay, the rooms are very small, the layout is very awkward and very inconvenient, my fil law was with us and it was too much walking for him. We had to park then walk all the way down the hallway to get to the elevator to walk all the way back down the outside hallway to get to our room and then walk around the building to actually get to our room. They put us out by the road and there was traffic noises all night long. Would have been much quieter in the back I am sure. We will not stay here again. But the room was pretty clean just outdated but the breakfast was just a very minimal hotel breakfast. We ate it once and then decided to just go out the rest of the time. We never saw any staff to interact with so not sure if they are friendly or not, just when I checked us in but no one else the rest of the week.

Nice, clean, centrally located Pigeon Forge hotel. The pool area is nice and warm, but you have to walk in "outside" corridors (from the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms at least) even if you get a room that faces poolside. The bed in the room we stayed in was somewhat broken down on the side I slept on so I was leaning all night. My wife said her said her side was fine. Other than that we had a good stay.

The entire experience was phenomenal! The breakfast was always ready no matter how early or late we got there. Our room was always made up when we got back from our daily shenanigans. Oh and the pool and hot tub…. We highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again when in the area!!

Room was poorly cleaned. Hairs on floor in both bathroom and sink area. I had to clean floors myself. Mattress was awful you would sink in middle of bed. One leg was way higher than other when laying flat on back. Somehow alarm went off at 6am first day there. Guessing the cleaner didn’t turn it off from previous people who stayed in room. Very loud road traffic as well. We won’t be staying here again. I understand it’s a cheaper hotel but it should still be clean and have a decent mattress.

Staff was friendly upon arrival and our room was clean and well supplied with towels. Being Thanksgiving weekend we knew it was going to be crowded. The pool was nice but all the hallways are external, so if you are staying in the colder months be prepared for a cold run to your room. Breakfast was nice but again busy. At least your room has a small rable and chairs if the Breakfast room is full.

The room was clean and the staff was nice but the carts that the cleaning staff need to have their wheels updated with air filled wheels every morning we were woke up by their carts rolling loudly up above us on the second flood and on our floor outside the rooms. This should not be happening. Guests should not be woken up by this loud noise. Also. The employees were banging things around in their supply rooms as well, this should also not be happening. Also the trash truck that comes at 3am banging trash hoppers around and waking up guests should not be happening either and it did, twice.

All parts of the hotel were extraordinarily clean. The staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. I had a handicap accessible room that was indeed accessible. (Not all of them are that claim to be.) The only thing I was disappointed in was the bed. The mattress was soft and the pillows were lumpy. I really need a firm bed due to my disability, so I was disappointed.

Great hotel , very good and the best part it’s right on the main avenue were by a walking distance you can enjoy the most of Pigeon Forge’s, the indoor pool is excellent, plenty parking and great customer service , love it we will come back next year

Pools and hot tub area were clean and so much fun for the kids since it was so cold out. Staff was very nice. Rooms were dated but well laid out with nice size refridgerator and microwave. Also were very clean. Breakfast was good. And of corse, fabulous location in the middle of Pigeon Forge.

The room was great. Bath enclosure looks to be recently installed. Water hot and welcome. I booked for the indoor pool but could not enjoy as boys took over the entire area jumping in and parents not supervising

Our stay was Ok because My cell phone charger was missing from the Room within an hour I was out of my room. I informed front desk and they called house keeping. I again went to front office and I was told that shift has been changed and we donot know about the issue you raised. They checked the record and said nobody entered in room .This was concerning because our room was cleaned . I told front desk exactly where my cell phone charger was plugged in. Around 10pm I returned to my room and found my charger plugged in the same place. Long story short :- They stole my charger. Lack of communication between the front desk . Don't care about their guests. Lack of accountability because they denied that nobody entered my room but they did and when I raised my concern my phone charger was kept back in my room . I will never stay at this place.

Being handicapped I did not appreciate being put as far away from the breakfast as I was. The room was right next to the road so I had to listen to tractor trailers going by constantly. The air conditioning unit made more noise than the TV did that wasn't very good. And the water pressure and the shower barely was able to get the soap off of your body after you washed. So I would have to say my stay there was not any good at all.

We prepaid room on Expedia, at check in told we weren’t allowed to have a trailer(was small), no trailers allowed behind our vehicle What? What are we to do with the trailer?? We’re 3 days into our trip, it’s not like we can drive it back home??? After begging and persuasion, we were allowed. Then asked: have you parked it vertically or horizontally? My husband said, not sure how we would park it vertically? Guy said, you know what I mean? He wanted us to park it in thin the front white lines. The back parking lot where we parked was 2/3 empty, sooo stupid of an unnecessary stress. Won’t be staying at Econo Lodge ever again, such a downer hotel experience for a great tourist town.

The pool area inside was wonderful too. A great hot tub, and indoor pool with lots of room for the kids and adults. And to top this all off this place is on the pigeon River where you can go out and sit and watch the ducks and the geese and the burbling water. This place has it all.

Amenities. Staff were really nice

Great location, friendly staff, breakfast was limited. When checked in we found our fridge was broke and maintance came the next morning and replaced the whole thing. Walking distance to several locations/restaurants

The room and amenities were nice and clean. The pool and hot tub areas were very nice! My only complaint would be that the walls are a little thin and the bed could have been more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was in the heart of all the attractions.

Check in was quick and easy. Hot tub and pool were clean and the perfect temperature. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Room was clean. Great, affordable place to stay right in the middle of Pigeon Forge.

Room was clean, did have kinda a musty smell. There was no shower curtain, after we said something it was installed while we were out. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, but no waffles, only toast or biscuits.

It was a clean room and very convenient to the main street areas and a lot of the attractions.

AC/Heat wasn’t working the first night and kept us awake. They replaced it the next day and it worked great. Room was clean but the two chairs at the table were covered in spots and the dust cover underneath was hanging down. We were told the furniture was going to be replaced in January.

Wouldn't change room because I evidently booked a handicap room with you, Room had a roll in shower and every time someone took a shower, the bathroom floor was soaked. Their suggestion was to give us more towels to put down. I told them that I had just had back surgery and didn't want to fall. Probably won't stay here again.

Beds were soft. Water was hot. Breakfast could have more of a variety offered. Coffee and tea, no hot chocolate. No bagels or pastries just bread. Hots items that were offered were good! Employees very friendly and helpful.

i never made it to the hot tub and breakfast was nothing special. but, it was a clean room for a solid price and the staff was plenty helpful. i am satisfied with my stay and would 4.5/5 suggest

Staff was very friendly, room was old and tired with a funky smell. Area did not feel safe to go out in.

The room was clean, the bed was pretty comfortable, and it was pretty quiet. I have no complaints. The only suggestion i would make is to maybe add some pastry and/ or muffin options for the breakfast. But it was a good experience.

The first thing was the little stream running behind the property, with the geese and ducks. Then, when we entered the room, we immediately knew it was clean! The staff. From check-in to check- out were pleasant, helpful and courteous. We will definitely recommend it to our friends! Thank you!

Right in the heart of everything. Entrance was a bit confusing as it doesn’t connect in the front but you figure it out. Checkin was fast and staff was great. Great mobility options. King room was a nice size. River view I guess but there is a whole parking lot and I thought we would be on it, my fault. Great dark out shades. Quiet. Good for food delivery. The only reason I won’t go back is the bed. So soft and lumpy and I needed to rest before continuing my road trip and very much couldn’t. Left exhausted. :(

I absolutely love staying at this hotel! It's always clean and the staff is always friendly. It is in a great location and you can walk to pretty much anything.

There were several long black hairs on the bathroom floor and tub, some folded in the towels, and some left over whiskers in the sink. I do wish you didn't have to walk outside in the cool weather to get to the pool and hot tub area. Rather uncomfortable walking back to the room all wet and cold. The road traffic was loud! The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The free breakfast was sufficient, yogurt, bananas, fruit cups, instant oatmeal, coffee, juice, etc. But the hot breakfast was not the quality I expected.

Overall close to everything . I variety of breakfast items would be helpful. We stayed for the weekend . Clean rooms . Staff very friendly .

The rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub were awesome! Great hot breakfast, Kelly was great at breakfast. The front counter half the time the staff ignores you because they are to busy telling their stories from the night before. Happened at least 3 times. The beds are lumpy. the room service people on the 2nd floor were great They have a recycle bin but they don't recycle they just throw it in their dumpster because all plastic, alum, metals, etc must be taken to the recycle center.

Very convenient felt safe

I didn't feel very welcomed when entering this property. When I walked in there were 3 staff members behind the desk and non of them acknowledged us. I was thinking to myself...was anyone going to take care of us? Finally one of them ask what they can do for us. They were not friendly, made me feel like I was bothering them. The room itself wasn't bad, but nothing to wrire home about.

The pillows were not comfortable/ also the pool was dirty with feces from a child that was left unattended.

Motel was very nice, choose this motel due to staying last year. Pool area is very clean, lobby is clean. Only issue noticed about cleanliness was that black hairs on bath towels and ice bucket tray was dusty. Will visit this location again , but will request second floor inner room away from front of building.

The staff were ever helpful. The only thing that could be improved upon was the room itself the table was falling apart and the chairs were stained.

Nothing fancy, but clean, convenient, and great staff. The breakfast could have offered more variety and healthier options, but it was good. Our room was by the pool so it was very noisy, but otherwise we were very happy with this facility.

We booked rooms for our church's senior adults attending the Celebrator's Conference. They all were very happy with the lodging and want to stay again next year.

Room had no ventilation for the bathroom or the jacuzzi. Room steamed up and everyday the clothes felt damp. Had a court side room but only the door was court side, the window and most of the room was poolside, which was extremely noisy. Bad for people who want to get up early to hike because the pool stayed open until 11pm. It needs to close by 10pm! Coffee cups were never replaced by cleaning person. Son after day one we had no cups in the room for coffee or water. Staff was cold and indifferent. Supplied no information. Never was told when breakfast was, where to park or how to get to the room. Would never stay there again and will think twice about booking at an Econo Lodge again.

Room's are nice, needs a little of updates. Plenty of counter space. Pool area was nice, hot tub could be been just a little hotter. Breakfast area is crowded,at times. Milk needs a dispenser instead of gallons. Added menu options would be great.

Room is not as big as it is shown in the picture. Same for kitchen and bathroom. There is no sink in bathroom. You have use bathroom and wash hands in kitchen, which is disgusting. Parking ia good and plave to roam around is nearby.

This hotel NEVER dissapoints. I have never had a negative experience staying here, the pool and hot tub inside are great and clean. Minus the random kids that jump in the pool against the rules and the parents dont make them respect the facility. But that is not the hotels fault its faulty parenting. But this hotel is always clean usually a decent value but my budget is sometimes too tight to allow for a stay but when i can its my go to for sure

Biggest issue was the air conditioner in our hotel room was not efficient enough. Even running at 60 F the room was stuffy during the day and could get hot at night requiring sleeping with minimal covers.

The rooms was clean. Other than that there want much else to like. The beds need to be replaced. You can feel the springs in the mattress. There was absolutely no water pressure for a shower. The ac barely worked. Thank goodness it want that hot outside so it should have worked fine but it did not. Update your sleeping quarters.

Breakfast was the same every day and very limited. The housekeeping go around early looking at doors for the do not disturb sign, so if you want your room cleaned don't use the sign! Multiple days we had to call front desk and ask for towels because our room wasn't cleaned.

The property was nice and convenient to the attractions. I did ask at check in about the VIP amenities and was told that they only honor the amenities through choice hotels.

The employees were very nice and helpful. I believe that we were put in a less than desirable room because I had reserved it through the app.

We absolutely loved econolodge & will be booking this hotel anytime we go to pigeon! Clean, the beds were SO comfy, the showers were nice & it had a great vibe to it! Only complaint was we did laundry in the laundry facilities and it took 3 runs of the dryer for our clothes to be dry.

Hot tub was nice and hot very relaxing. Our room was clean and comfy. Very spacious and quiet. The pool was ok although I do think it had a bit too much chlorine in the pool only because you could smell it very strongly and my son’s eyes were burning. Other than that everything was excellent. The breakfast was great as well.

Hotel was clean and it was nice to have room by the pool. Hotel also right beside miniature golf. Beautiful outside by the river. However, the only bad thing was the beds. They were not comfortable at all.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice to have indoor pool and hot tub. One of reason I went there is granddaughter wanted the game room. That was a major disappointment. No actual games, just several of the machines where you try to grab little toys/stuffed animals.

There was alot of people in it so we didnt use it.

I booked pur stay through a 3rd party. Somehow the 3rd party or the hotel website didnt relay our reservation. So when we checked in later in the evening they didnt have our reservation. Fortunately, they had a room avaliable but it really didnt fit our family's needs but it worked for the night. They didnt have any rooms for the next night. So we had to change hotels. I wasnt happy about that. And i wasnt happy that i had to pay almost $50 more than what i had booked the room for. As long as doesnt happen next time i would consider staying at the hotel. It was very nice and the staff were friendly.

The hotel was nice and in a place that would be easy to get anywhere. Unfortunately there was a car gathering with thousands of extremely noisy cars that cruised up and down all roads and it took forever to get anywhere. I will stay there again and go back when it is quieter.

Slammedenuff was in town, very noisy all day and night (due to being put in a room facing the main road) traffic worse and more congested than usual, room didn't get very cool with A/C set on 60-65 degrees, toilet flushed very loudly, water pressure was mid, room was a little smaller than expected.

Hotel was nice. Great pool facilities. However the street is very noisy-in particular with a car convention in town. We were in a room facing the street and it was incredibly noisy.

Very enjoyable stay. Everything was close to perfect. Already looking forward to our next visit there.

There were so many shops and business within a less than 10 minute walk if not closer.. The view was beautiful. The staff was so friendly. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to pigeon forge

A beautiful area. However very disappointed in accommodations. The noise from other guest was awful. Room was facing roadside and it was awful to hear the traffic. Asked for riverside. Did not request a room with an adjoining room. Was there just a few months ago. Was an awesome experience! This time very different; very frustrating.

Great hotel

Econo Lodge Pigeon Forge is our go to hotel when in the Pigeon Forge area. It's always clean. The beds are comfortable and it is one of the nicest hotels in the area for the cost. The indoor pool area is large and always clean. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants and just a few short minutes away from The Island that so many love to visit. May want to bring your own pillow.

It was great. Stayed on ground floor with no steps and parking right in the door way.
