One of the biggest issues was the breakfast situation. When we booked the room through Expedia, it appeared that breakfast was included. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that breakfast was not included and that we would have to pay extra if we wanted it. The staff didn’t try to clarify the confusion or offer any solution, which was frustrating after relying on what was shown during booking. Another surprise was being charged extra for a third person in the room. This was never clearly mentioned when we made the reservation on Expedia, so it felt like an unexpected add-on once we were already at the hotel. Overall, between the rude service, the confusion about breakfast, and the unexpected extra charge for a third guest, the stay was disappointing. I expected a much better experience from a Marriott property.
- 3/5
The "store" had 16 different types of beer to purchase and no wine or other cocktails-in-a-can. Sixteen beer options? Really? I was under the impression that there was a complimentary continental breakfast. Not so!
- 5/5
The A/C in the room was very good. Staff were wonderful!
- 5/5
Courteous, helpful staff. Very clean room overlooking the pool and outdoor lounging areas. Extremely quiet hotel! Will stay there again😁
- 5/5
Our four-night stay was comfortable, with the room being cleaned twice. The staff was incredibly polite, and the free parking was a bonus. Nice location with plenty of food and dining options nearby.
- 4/5
I like that it was so closed to everything and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The positioning of the bed to the TV, was uncomfortable to watch. The room was also very small.

The TV was dated and Didn’t allow my to connect my Xbox and turn down the volume without using the cable box. Also single ply toilet paper but other than the wallpaper coming off at the seams I’d say it was easy to access the room only being 3 floors max and the location is great

I wish there was an option for zero. 0/5!

We had a tub shower. You could not pull the shower all the way up so the tub filled up when showering not pleasant.

Room was dirty. Paint in the room looked slapped together. Webs and dust in every corner of the room and we took a shower and slept with two roaches.

The bar and bistro isn't open on the weekends. It was a huge disappointment because we had to go find somewhere to eat and drink after a long drive. The pillows were very uncomfortable and we had a restless night.
- 5/5
Great . Clean . Quiet . Welcoming. 👍
- 5/5
Very clean
- 2/5
There was an in describable stain on the floor near the bed as soon as you walk into the door as well as black stains on the pillow cases and the sheets of the bed. The light fixture above the mirror did not turn on as well. The only good thing about the whole experience was the black out curtains. If we didn’t check in so late and exhausted we would’ve requested a new room immediately. Outside the hotel looked sketchy too.
- 5/5
Amazing check-in staff, very friendly! Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfy.

This was the first time we stayed here and man did we enjoy the stay. The rooms were very clean and didnt smell at all. The staff members were super friendly and helpful. We "some how" locked ourselves out of one of our rooms. The maintenance guy came from hime at about midnight to get us in. And, he smiled the entire time. We will definitely be returning for our future stays.
- 5/5
We really like the hotel and the staff aas very helpful.
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel. Everything was neat and clean and in good working order. The happy hour only runs during the week so that was disappointing. The pool area and lobby are both very inviting.

The hotel was nice and well taken care of. The front desk worker did not tell us anything about breakfast and the two days we stayed the Starbucks was not open at all. Also, I had to ask for towels from the front desk. There was no room service at all. It is a nice hotel that is in a quiet area. Parking was great. The room was fine but the overall service was mediocre.
- 5/5
Overall it was a nice room. Nice & quiet!!
- 1.5/5
Not much The staff wasn’t very helpful and upon arrival wasn’t sure to get in after a delay flight in the middle of the night the front desk was very rude!!
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 5/5
Quick check in, clean and plenty of parking
- 1/5
Old hotel....locks didn't work. The ice machine broke.. nothing worked. Phone broke. Bad mgmt
- 3/5
Also the layout of the room was awful. The TV was at a roughly 90 degree angle from the TV.
- 5/5
Convenient to all

We had a host of other significant issues that: We checked in at 2:00 am after a long day of flying and fire alarm testing began the next morning at 8:30 am. It lasted 6 hours!!! They said this was a fire emergency… but when the testing began, every guest had a typed letter underneath their door from the hotel manager advising them of this ‘emergency’ and letting them know they didn’t have to evacuate. I guess ‘emergencies’ look a little different in Texas. Later in our stay we had a 4 hour power outage. What else? The carpet in our room smelled musty. The water barely trickled out of the shower faucet. The room just wasn’t clean. I average 2-3 hotel stays per month and this is the first time I’ve ever left a hotel review. My advice: DO NOT STAY HERE!!
- 5/5
Loved having Starbucks in the facility. I have stayed at the facility 2 times. On the first stay, I fell in love with the facility and the convenience of being close to everything that we wanted to see and do. The staff has been very friendly and helpful each time that I have stayed there. The lobby has a cozy feel to it. There is a working fireplace, and TV's, making it a nice place to hang out. The room that I have reserved for both of my stays has been the larger double Queen room. It is roomy for our group of 4. The beds were so comfortable and quiet. I had a great night sleep. The bathroom area is one of the nicest that I have seen in a hotel setting. The shower and toilet area is separate from the sink with mirror above it. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Nice colors in room and lobby. There wasn't an extra mirror in the room. It would have made it easier for our group of 4 ladies to put on make up and do our hair in less time.
- 5/5
It was nice
- 4.5/5
Free hot breakfast would be nice. Eggs, meat, and/or waffles/pancakes. Current breakfast options were good, but rather expensive. Nothing.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Parking lots of people were double parked Twas annoying
- 5/5
Great property and excellent staff! Went above expectations!
- 4/5
Location was great for us, although it wasn’t the easiest facility to access. Once you figured out how to get into the parking lot it was ok, but lots of u-turning required on major streets to get in the parking lot. Room was nice, bed comfortable and great shower. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Ridiculous to have to pay $4.50 for a cup of coffee in the morning. Never before in my 73 years have I stayed at a hotel/motel that didn’t have coffee for guests in the lobby without having to pay extra. It was bad enough that room didn’t include breakfast, but having to pay for coffee left a really bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended).
- 5/5
Great economical hotel plenty of amenities would stay there again
- 3/5
My door lock was broken. My friend had water bugs in her room.
- 3.5/5
Poor service. Didn’t clean room or replace towels, service for food VERY slow
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly staff.
- 0.5/5
Phone was broken, no ironing board but there was an iron, a/c unit made a racket all night long and best of all the TV didn't work. Walked to front desk because phone was broken and told them all this and he said I'll be there in 5 minutes to help you but never showed up. We just went to sleep and will never stay there again. We paid more than surrounding hotels because we thought it would be nicer. It was much less than expected as nothing worked. TV worked? Ironing board to iron on ease and fix the damn AC that kept us awake half the night. Phone wasn't important til I needed to call front desk for help.
- 4/5
The front desk staff as well as the breakfast/bar staff were superb - friendly, helpful, and professional. The property condition needs improvement. I had to change rooms after my first night due to the carpet beneath the A/C getting soaked from condensation. Need more electrical outlets which are easier to reach. The exhaust fan in the shower is poor, if there is one at all. The TV picture was frequently scrambled - impossible to watch. Additionally, the breakfast offerings need to be better. One of the third-party agencies advertises this as a continental breakfast which it isn't. Great people but otherwise much room for improvement.
- 4/5
It’s all good
- 4/5
I had a procedure at hospital nearby. Since there was no room service I could not get water or food ordered from the lobby. My phone did not work for room 103. Otherwise the hotel is clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay; very affordable and convenient space . Excellent staff.
- 5/5
Wonderful! Only criticism is there was no complementary coffee in lobby as I often see on other properties I've stayed.

ALL GOOD except for parking!!!
- 3/5
Stayed on the ground floor right outside the pool and unfortunately there was a musty smell about the room, like the floor hadn't dried out. Also, the air unit was quite loud making it hard to fall asleep.
- 3/5
Room was on par with average 3 star. Stain on ottoman and no running hot water - took a cold shower. No attendant at front desk to complain that evening or early morning checkout. Spoke with someone from hotel by phone two days after my stay to complain about no hot water, but mostly about restaurant charges on my credit card receipt that I did not make. They acknowledged awareness of no hot water and told me would discuss the charge with supervisor and refunds would be made. Hours after that call, a receipt for bar charges was sent to me. The bar tab was a different person and another room, and mistakenly charged to my room. Week later, no credit on my card and unable to get hotel person on phone.
- 5/5
Great location for those needing Baylor Scott and White Plano Hospital. Nice updated room with comfy bed and nice shower! The pillows weren’t to my liking, but my wife had no complaints.
- 4/5
Breakfast available on property; location convenient to our Dallas-area family and graduation festivities. Property signage less prominent and difficult to spot; no safety bar on ground floor sliding glass doors adjoining parking spaces; strange sleeper couch design
- 4/5
Good location for what we were doing in the area. Would have liked breakfast included in our stay.
- 5/5
More specifically, Amein (I’m not sure of the spelling of his name) was super helpful. I wanted to change my room and he changed it for me without any issues. Super grateful as I wanted a room on the second or third floor because of the balcony. It rained the entire weekend so I wasn’t able to experience the pool but the fitness room was nice.
- 5/5
No coffee till 7am - would suggest earlier at 6 am
- 5/5
Good price for the room and great customer service.
- 4/5
Would be better if there was bottled water
- 5/5
Late night man acting like we were bothering him and we were there for surgery, we needed more pillows and ice..he played on his phone. Thursday night.
- 5/5
Close to hospital great for distance to hospital and quit and clean

Had a nice vacation
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice property.
- 4/5
Staff was great and the hotel was clean.
- 4/5
The location was perfect for the places I needed to be. The pillows (underneath the pillow case) had an unpleasant odor. They should be replaced or at least washed. The bed was ok but not uber comfy. The air conditioning worked great.
- 5/5
The hotel was really beautiful and I loved that they have balcony. It was very clean and quiet and they guy that checked us in was very friendly and professional. This is going to be where I stay when I come to Texas.
- 3/5
Very outdated, not very nice for the price :/. Parking lot literally had l signs that say park at your own risk.
- 5/5
You would sink into beds and shower had alot of hair in tub
- 5/5
I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Our room was fabulous. The people were helpful. Great experience.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The room was small but had everything we needed, including the comfortable king-sized bed. It was quiet and easy to get in and out of the parking lot.
- 5/5
Remodeled property and they have wonderful front desk staff who make it a pleasant experience- Carlos, Amy are super nice.
- 4/5
Super fast check in, the hotel was very clean the whole time. Wasn’t loud at all. The bar was nice. I didn’t eat I. The bistro cafe so I can’t comment on the food. The only con really is the fact that you had to pay for breakfast.
- 4/5
Close to venue
- 4/5
I booked room online that time promise for free breakfast, I come for checkin receptionist say I didn't have free breakfast deal in booking.
- 5/5
Great front desk service, staff accommodating, kind and helpful. Location was just righ for my trip to Dallas. I felt safe. Room was clean and fresh. I would recommend this location.
- 4/5
Perfectly clean, consistent experience. The parking lot approach is a bit convoluted.
- 3/5
Check in was bad—door was locked, note on door to ring the bell. The guy that let me in was rude and seemed put out to be helping me.
- 4/5
I think this is a very typical "Courtyard by Marriott" brand hotel. I do not insist it is very special. But it was what I expected for Courtyard by Marriott brand hotel, I mean, it is reasonably comfortable. I had very good night rests there as I had expected.
- 5/5
I choose this hotel due to its location to Baylor. However, it’s actually really close to a lot of things. Good restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself has a restaurant that’s open for breakfast and dinner. I didn’t try it out this time but it had good options. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful. My room was clean and I mean really clean. I loved that all the rooms open up to the courtyard. The pool is nice and secluded. The bed was super comfy. I don’t have any negative things to say about this place.
- 3/5
The room was remodeled and very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My room was not cleaned and coffee supplies restocked for my 2nd night stay. I had to go to the front desk for them. There was only one package of regular coffee. Luckily I had a cup to drink out of. I guess my room was just overlooked.
- 4/5
Front of the building was being remodeled but rooms were very clean.
- 3/5
Hotel entrance hard to find, under construction. Front desk was unhelpful till I asked about specific things. Generally poor customer service, not planning to go back to this hotel.
- 2/5
We were advised about construction. Had to change rooms due to noise. No water at all one afternoon. Front entrance closed to parking. No pool. Rooms clean but need updating. Bathroom fan not working. Etc. No comp breakfast. And full price? Not.
- 4/5
convenience
- 4/5
I was not notified that the hotel is under an exterior renovation, and it does not look well outside.
- 5/5
Newly remodeled rooms. Very nice. They are still working on the exterior, but didn’t interfere with our stay.
- 1/5
PROPERTY UNDER EXTENSIVE RENOVATION! STAY AWAY!
- 1/5
The gorgeous picture representing this property has nothing to do with the actual property. It is under extensive renovation. Somehow they forgot to mention that when booking the room.
- 4/5
good
- 4/5
Our stay was average. The beds are very comfortable, but they don’t serve coffee until 6:30am. We had to leave by 6am both mornings for business. There is a coffee maker in the room but powdered creamer isn’t my thing. Good value for the price. Close to lots of restaurants (driving distance).
- 4/5
The property is being remodeled so you will have to walk in through a back door. The room is very nice, bed is comfy. You can hear almost any noise near you.
- 5/5
Renovation. But it was marked off well.
- 5/5
Everything was easy and convenient. We were extremely happy with our stay.
- 5/5
A very nice hotel and a reasonable value for the price. The breakfast (I prepaid) was excellent and exceeded expectations. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
In my opinion, this hotel is just as other Courtyard brand hotels. Clean and comfort room, well maintained property, and so on. Comfortable stay is guaranteed. On the other hand, I do not expect anything special in this hotel. But I like this 'reliable' hotel.
- 5/5
We will be back 🛌
- 5/5
Hotel was just as it looked on the pictures, very clean and close to lots of stores.
- 5/5
Location, location! It is close to everything.
- 4/5
The rooms were nice. One of the elevators didn’t work and due to surgery needed a ground floor or a room that had elevator that worked. Requested to be moved to a different room. The front desk clerk was very put out by my request although he did move us to a ground floor room. Overall, the hotel met our needs for this stay and close proximity to Baylor Scott & White hospital however I would not chose it as a place to stay for any other reason.
- 1/5
This hotel is in desperate need of remodeling. Even the parking lot was bad. The elevator broke while we were there. Not even a microwave in the room and the mini frig froze anything u could barely fit in it. I would never recommend this place. Very disappointing. Front desk staff also rude.
- 5/5
Newly remodeled clean east check in
- 4/5
Property seems to be in the middle of a change. The rooms were clean but dated. The grounds were in process of being redone, but were baren.
- 5/5
The staff were outstanding! The hours the Starbucks/Bistro seemed odd, it was rarely open and one time when it was open the front desk said that the person was on a break for 3o min during hours it was open. Good idea but terrible hours. Wish it was upfront that there’s a visa fee charge for every single time I charge something to my room, that was shady and felt ripped off and may never go back.
- 5/5
Good service..!!
- 5/5
I liked the friendliness, and professionalism of a few staff members. What I did not care for,but understand, is the construction renovation, certain hours was blocked to walk through hall. We had to walk outside to get to the front lobby. However, we totally understand since we are looking forward to the renovation.
- 5/5
Great location for an event we were attending. Property is under maintenance, but we knew that at time of booking. Rooms were as expected, beds were very comfortable.
- 2/5
During my three day stay my room WAS NOT CLEANED A SINGLE TIME. In fact never saw any cleaning staff at all. Probably my last stay at a Marriott............
- 5/5
This is our second time to stay at this property and we have been very pleased with this hotel. It's a bit worn in some areas but the dining area is very nice. Room is comfortable.
- 4/5
Very close to Baylor SW Hospital and they have a cheaper hospital rate if you ask for it.
- 5/5
Super happy with this hotel. Staff is very friendly. Although no free breakfast the Starbucks restaurant in the lobby does a great hot breakfast for a reasonable price.
- 3/5
The rooms were quiet, clean, comfortable beds. There were hardly any snacks and the restaurant didn’t offer much to eat. The fridge in our room also didn’t really work properly, so we couldn’t even keep food in our room.
- 2/5
Needs an update! Do not like pet friendly hotels for the majority of us that do not travel with animals!
- 5/5
Very clean
- 3/5
Dirty blanket
- 4/5
I like the location which is convenient for everything. The only problem which I found out in two Courtyard by Marriott is that there is no hand-holding bar around the bath tub. It's important for elder people to avoid falling. There is no garbage can in vanity area and we have to take the one which is under desk.
- 5/5
Location was great. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Would stay again for sure.
- 4/5
Clean and cozy. Check-in was fast. King bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but the 24hr gym was convenient. Good location there is a McDonalds and Subways not too far.
- 4/5
The property was really nice and quiet. However I didn’t like that there was no continental breakfast, or free coffee. The coffee that was provided in the rooms are rarely fresh or taste good. I would have rather had a nice free buffet breakfast. But at least they did have an ihop that was across the street. I would have thought most Marriotts have a free breakfast.
- 5/5
It was very nice, good location and clean. I will stay there again!
