The hotel elevator was broken. The staff was not at the front desk when we arrived. They put us in a room that had maintenance happening without the front desk’s knowledge and had to move us to a smoking room when we reserved a non-smoking room. The fridge was broken and leaking water on the floor, and there was no shower curtain when we first checked in. While they handled the difficulty, their service was terrible and no compensation was provided.

I hotel was a good stay, but the elevator was broken and my room was on the 3rd floor as a guest in the hotel that was not good.

NOTHING !!! Everything! I made a call to corporate to make a formal complaint; this place is extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable in living conditions! I have many pics to corroborate my experience! From a slippery floor, no shower amenities to blood stains in a few areas. My family and I left the room after being there for a couple hours!

The location was cool but the elevator did not work and I was on the fourth floor…so that made me not want to go back and forth to explore Texas and I was from ohio

The hotel has one elevator, and it’s been broke down for at least two months. If you don’t mind climbing steps (4 floors) or you’re lucky to get a room on the first floor, then it’s not a bad place to stay.

The beds were ok. Bright lights shined in the window, people were running and banging on the walls for hours above us. When we checked in the doors were locked and we had to call for someone to come. It took them 15 minutes. No one was even there when we checked out. The elevators didn’t work.

The elevator is broken. We walk up/down by using stair. Empty kitchen even though there is stove and microwave(There is no silverwear/pot,pan, bowls). Cleanliness is okay. We found litle croaches running around. AC is good.

Nothing, I couldn’t even stay there and yall wouldn’t let us in the property Everything this hotel is a sham
- 1/5
Their elevator was out of service for two weeks. They didn’t bother to inform you beforehand. There is no public restroom on the first floor. The only available restroom is the one in your room. There is no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. There is no floor mat in the restroom. The staff at check-in was very friendly.
- 5/5
Very clean and felt safe
- 3/5
My stay has been satisfying so far for the reason I was there. Elevator has been broken since I got there. Only downside honestly. The staff is great the property is in a convenient safe location. NOT a luxury hotel. This hotel is for transitioning, or temporary travel or a temporary residence.

The room...not so much. The room smelled like rotten meat when we walked in. Tried to move but the hotel was full. The front desk lady came up and sprayed some air freshener that helped for a while. She was genuinely apologetic and offered her personal BBWs scented spray for us to use. The final nail of the coffin though was finding stains on the bottom bedsheet on one of the beds. When we pulled the stained sheet off the mattress to inspect it, we found an old a large dried-up urine stain on the mattress itself...Ugh...

The cleanliness of the facility The room was as cold as ice, and every time I inquired about a blanket, they didn't have any. Finally, at the end of my stay, I was able to get a blanket. The elevator stopped working. So, at my checkout time, I had to walk down the stairs with my luggage and other personal items. When you have health issues and bad knees, that doesn't work. It was reported to the staff on Saturday from a resident or another staff person that it was taking a long time for the elevator. I did tell the staff person behind the desk that the elevator was making a noise when I was on it. I could not and would not recommend this place to anyone. There are no photos to show. How do you show someone that it's cold in the room and how do you show the elevator is not working.

I could not pay with just any credit card it had to be one specifically from a major bank. The whole floor smelled of curry so strong it brought on my asthma. I immediately cancelled room for 2nd nigbt and they would not let me. I was stuck paying for a room i was in for no more than 6 hrs. Plugs by nightstand did not work. Ill NEVER try Woodspring again!!!
- 0.5/5
Stafff was super friendly Our room looked old. Couldn't connect to internet until you pay an extra $10.00. Our bedside lamp didn't work. Our microwave didn't work. The water didn't stay hot. The bed covers looked old and dirty. The pillows were terrible.
- 1.5/5
Despite the shortcomings, the staff themselves were nice. I understand this is an extended-stay style hotel, but the basics still fell short. The bedding was extremely thin and uncomfortable to the point where I had to buy another blanket to sleep. There were also no shampoo or conditioner in the room, which meant I had to repeatedly go down to reception to request basic items (they did eventually provide them). There was also constant noise and a noticeable smell around the halls of the property, which made the overall experience pretty unpleasant.
- 1.5/5
Cleaner room was dirty. Never cleaned by staff 3 weeks. Why can't we get clean towels free . Payment for that ridiculous All above
- 2/5
The room smelled bad, may be because of Air Condition filters or some thing. Also smelled weed smell at nights in the bathroom, may be smell comes from the air exhaust vent.
- 2.5/5
Value Cleanliness and horrible smell

It looked fine but we never got a chance to check in. We were ignored for almost an hour even though they confirmed our arrival time was okay. Refused attempts to ask for refund.
- 4.5/5
I love the front desk staff very polite and wonderful. Every visit has been great . The cleanness all around every floor the smell is awesome very pleasant.
- 0.5/5
I don't have anything positive to say about this extended stay. I didn't like anything. The only thing I can say is that the staff is decent. The worst and most disappointing thing is that there was a roach in the bathroom. The floors in my room were so slippery I had to ask them to re-do them. The bed sheets and blankets are a disgrace, there's no way they will keep you warm. I really didn't like that staff wasn't available after 10pm. People struggle with checking in and the key-cards are easily deactivated. The halls smell awful too.
- 4.5/5
Nice and clean so no complaints
- 3/5
Disliked: Internet Service- not exactly free; Policies - lack of privacy, staff can visit the room whenever they want and you are not allowed to refuse; room service - only once in my 2 weeks; staff behavior- initially very welcoming, but then rude, dismissive, and at times condescending; not always readily available at the desk and when you call, you are told they are in bathroom so you have to wait; you cannot get refund but told you are free to leave if you’re not comfortable; Prank calls - twice in the early hours of the morning, such that I literally had to get up and unplug the phone. Elevator-works on and off- had to walk the full flight of stairs with 6 bags.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room was very basic

As soon as you walked in the door, it smelled like marijuana. We had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to check us in and he looked like he had just woken up from a nap. While waiting in the lobby, there was what appeared to be a homeless man eating out of a can. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs, which had people coming and going that again, smelled like marijuana. When we got to our room, I immediately wanted to leave, but since we only needed a place to sleep for 4 hours, I dealt with it. The furniture was peeling and everything except the bedding and bathroom looked disgusting. Absolutely do not recommend. My husband said I am fired from choosing hotels because I royally messed this up.
- 1/5
Room and whole hallway smelled bad and was put on 3rd floor and elevator did not work. Paid for 3 days and did not even stay one night. Terrible experience want ever use this hotel brand again.

Bad bad

It was a very clean and easy process
- 4/5
The room was nice
- 1/5
Worst hotel we've ever stayed in. They didn't have any housekeeping service. The hallway smells like garbage. It felt like nasty meat smells which just reminded me of Dahmer. Lol, don't know what was going on. They didn't have iron in the room. I had to get it from the counter. Overall, it was a terrible stay. I was very glad when it was time for us to leave the hotel.
- 1/5
Room smelled of cigarette smoke terribly, cigarette burn marks in random places throughout the room, rust in several areas of the room, dirty stained walls, floor was sticky with some residue (had to keep shoes on the entire time), noisy rooms around and above ours (people running around and loud music). Save your money and spend a little bit more and go stay somewhere else.

Not good nor bad, average stay.

The property is great. No complaints. Will book again

Compared to other properties in the area, WoodSpring is cleaner, more attentive, more security minded, and located in a nice walkable parkway with easy access-- yet affordable.

I arrived at the hotel very late, and there was no one at the front desk. However, a phone number was provided, and when I called, someone answered right away and came out quickly. DeAntry was extremely helpful and patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail. Since I had my dog with me, he assigned me a room that made it easy to go in and out. He was amazing and truly cares about helping his customers. Thank you!

For being a relatively new facility, it is in seriously bad condition. Water damage evident in ceilings. Moldy smell. Bare Bones Bedding is sub standard. In a word: CHEAP

My bank is about to file dispute because they haven’t refunded my deposit. They charged me $100 each the two times I booked through Expedia. I need somebody to follow up on this. I am very much inconvenienced by the situation!!

Very convenient, can walk to Walmart and Sam’s club. Very reasonable price and you can cook anything you like in the suite, which significantly lowered staying expenses. This hotel runs like an Airbnb, but just in a hotel setting. Highly recommended!

Dion is a great host and very helpful. We checked in late and he helped us accommodate just as easy. Thanks for being super responsive. Will sure book again
- 3/5
Decent and worth the price
- 5/5
Housekeeping could do a way better job cleaning the rooms and bathroom before another family check in!! Let me just say another person #2 was left on our toilet!! But they cleared the room for being available all because housekeeping checked it off as clean.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
This is my first Woodspring Suites experience. The hotel is in a great location. So much is within walking distance. The front desk staff is great. When one of my neighbors decided to blast their TV at 3am, I called downstairs & a few minutes later the problem was solved. The suite is clean & cozy. This is probably the cleanest extended stay that I’ve ever been to. I’d definitely recommend & return!!

Elevator was out of service for over two weeks!
- 3/5
It wasn’t terrible. I couldn’t really tell if this was a new or outdated property. You can easily hear noises coming from the hallway and the fridge in the kitchen was locked. For the most part it was quiet and convenient.

- 2/5
The elevator had a very bad odor. Smell like animal urine and poops.
- 1/5
A reminder to myself that you get what you pay for. I would have rayed this place a 3 out of 5 if not for the baby roaches in my room and the strong chemical odors in the hallways and my room. Theres also no basic amenities like a hair dryer orr iron. Never again will i stay at a Wood Springs.
- 5/5
It was quick and easy
- 1/5
I booked for just 1 night got there and the hotel smelled so nasty, room was not to clean and their was cockroaches everywhere.
- 1/5
I made a reservation on Expedia and I was able to book a room and pay in full for for two nights once I arrived to the location. The front desk associate told me there was not room available. I said I already paid for it. She said yeah well you have to contact Expedia and that’s good refund, I was disappointed was looking forward to shower and rest .
- 5/5
Great view and great staff, unfortunately elevator wasn’t working during my stay until my last day but overall the staff made up for it with their friendliness and willingness to help.
- 5/5
Price not bad for what you get.
- 1/5
On check out nobody was at the front door
- 1/5
I checked in with the manager at that location - Isaiah Cobbin (room 230). Someone tried to enter my room unannounced TWICE!!!!! 1st time it was a female looking all stupid when I opened the door and explained to her this room was occupied. The very next day 2 men tried to enter my room with no warning. I went to see what the mixup was about and all I was told is they got new systems and he didn't know why my room wasnt showing reserved on their end. I checked out early because of that. Negligence and carelessness at its finest!!! I'LL NEVER STAY AT THAT LOCATION AGAIN!!!!!!! They giving out keys to any and everybody!!!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing
- 1/5
Poor customer service. Have to call them 3 times to get extra charges taken off.
- 4/5
It was okay. The front desk office hours are inconvenient. It’s the main reason I wouldn’t stay again. They need an after hours key drop off for those who need to check out before 9 am when the office opens.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel.
- 1/5

- 2/5

Had the opportunity to work with DeAntrey in Plano. AWESOME customer service.
- 3/5
Convenient location, close to business & highway/UTD… property is clean when check in but wish smell was more pleasant, strong smell in elevator. No door sign for option of wanting to have room cleaned or not. Room was not get cleaned next morning….
- 4/5
3rd time there and pleased with its location to my office. Only bad part is staff is not there 24 hours, they do close the lobby. Staff leaves at 10pm and come in around 9amor later.
- 1/5
There were some people at the reception waiting for their clothes cause the hotel has some washing machine at the reception and they told me it was normal that no one was at the reception. I pay for a service that I couldn't use do not go there
- 1/5
Sketchy.
- 3/5
I think a lot of people actually LIVE at this hotel. I know there are small kitchenettes and people do have extended stays, but for a school bus to have an actual stop at this hotel is a clue that it is more than an extended stay...more like a permanent stay. I saw a school bus drop kids off and there were several families going from room to room. They were not loud or rude, it was just a surprise to me. I felt like I was intruding in someone home. Just a weird vibe.
- 1/5
My reservation was cancelled this morning at 11 am by the hotel due to plumbing problems at their property.
- 1/5
Our stay was not pleasant! There were roaches in the room and we didn’t feel safe. Lots of people were congregating in the parking at night for unknown reasons.
- 1/5
I did not even check in. The lobby was heavily perfumed and I found out why once we left it. The rest of the place, especially the elevator and the room smelt terrible. The room was suppose to have just been cleaned but dishes were in the dishwasher and rust in the shower. Worst of all was the smell in the room. I didn't even set my bags down nor did I check in. I am embarrassed to have even been in that place. They said I would give me a refund if I had booked straight with them but that I would have to talk with Travelocity since that is who I had went through.
- 2/5
thought it was good until I saw roaches while getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night
- 2/5
It was a bad experience. Not only they did not provide us with the type of room and bed we reserved but the room they gave us was not locking properly, WiFi service was not working, and the room is not even carpeted. We had to leave the hotel in few hours.
- 4/5
The microwave in my room didn't function.
- 1/5
Upon check-in, the reception provided room keys for allegedly vacant rooms, only for us to find out that they were already occupied by permanent residents. To our disbelief, the property appeared to function not just as a hotel but also as a residence, complete with a school bus dropping off students who apparently live there. The pervasive smell of an illegal substance and the presence of dead insects throughout the premises were beyond unpleasant. These conditions not only deviated drastically from the advertised description but also raised significant health and safety concerns. Despite our reasonable request for a full refund due to the misrepresented information, the hotel staff adamantly refused. This left us with no choice but to book an alternative hotel at additional expense just to salvage our trip. I am baffled as to how WoodSpring Suites Plano - North Dallas is even listed on Expedia, given the glaring misrepresentation and substandard conditions. My advice to fellow travelers: steer clear of this establishment unless you're willing to risk your well-being and waste your money. This experience has not only soured my perception of WoodSpring Suites Plano - North Dallas but has also left me questioning the reliability of booking p
- 4/5
I would give higher overall, but for most part they do what they say they will do. For example, this is the only hotel to fix stuff when things do not work. Other hotel where i stayed for long period ike 6 month never fix it ams some other hotel thevsame bad experience. I keep getting bad rooms in texas, except this one.
- 3/5
Plumbing not satisfactory
- 5/5
The staff, especially, Isaiah was very helpful & accommodating in assisting with making my stay as comfortable as possible.
- 2/5
Trashy, distinct bad odor on elevator. Halls and hotel not cleaned consistently. My entire stay the elevator rug was not cleaned. Windows and front area messy and stunk. Laundry area dirty with trash on floor and machine dirty. Service at the front desk slow. The outside area Children’s toys all over side walk. Children running and yelling up and down the halls, which made it so difficult to work remote.
- 4/5
Clean, Safe...
- 1/5
Woodspring Suites is excellently located, near shopping, main thoroughfares, and public transportation. It also looks really good from the outside. Unfortunately, inside it is badly worn, devoid of even basic amenities, and infested with ants. Unless you are prepared to do battle with hundreds of streaming ants on your countertops, stay somewhere else! Also, good luck finding someone to complain to,
- 5/5
Staff was nice, not very clean. Some kind of grease on microwave handle. Did not look wiped down.
- 5/5
Very roomy kind service but omg the elevator bearing grease that gets hot from use of the elevator, stinks up the entire place. I had to buy glade plug ins.
- 2/5
Dirty and noisy.
- 2/5
Honestly I didn’t even stay. I had 8 nights booked and when we arrived for check in, there were already 2 people ahead of me that were checking in. So it gave me a minute to stand back while waiting, to check out how the customer service was by the staff/receptionist, the cleanliness of the hotel, the people coming in and out of the hotel, etc… Something in my gut was off about this place but I didn’t say anything. Just still observing. So it’s my turn to check in and the receptionist tells me that there’s a wait to check in because my room isn’t ready. I’m like ok…… And so he asks me did I want a 1 bedroom instead. I say I need a 2 bedroom because I have other guests besides myself. He says well I’m now kicking someone out, but just give room service a while to clean the room then the room will be ready. He says I’ll be on the 3rd floor but cautioned me that there was an odor near the end of where we would be staying because a resident, whom he was about to kick out(his words) let his dog pee on the carpet. But he’s about to get the carpets cleaned and shampooed. So, in my head I’m like, no. Absolutely not. So I ask him if they had anything else available and he said they were all booked. So I said, you know what nevermind I’ll just go to McKinney and find a place to say. The place is like an extended stay honestly. The people coming in and out looked like they lived there full time. Kids getting off the school bus, smokers hanging around. No thanks.
- 2/5
halls were messier than a rat infested motel, shower head were old, no coffee maker, iron, iron board in room. fridge seem to be coming apart when opening door, microwave bigger than stove. what else can i say but stop.
- 5/5
Not a high end establishment, but clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and polite. Efficiently trained and capable.
- 2/5
It has very clean entrance but once you are in the actual halls and rooms it is very dirty. The smell is bad. The noise level can get a little crazy at times. Smell of weed during several hours. The rooms are dirty. You can tell they just “pass the rag” but they DO NOT clean.
- 1/5
Wen I checked in the hotel, they didn’t clean the room. All dirty towels were laid on the floor. Then front desk give me another room. However, they didn’t clean the second room either. The beddings are dirty and trash is in the trash can. No WIFI. I told them I have to work using wifi but was told that technician is off and they will fix tomorrow. They didn’t fix the next day. The Tv remote has no battery so entire night I did not have any entertainment to do. Front desk guy was friendly but other than that I will not recommend and definitely will never stay there again!!
- 5/5
It was exactly what i needed. A short quiet stay. I wasn’t bothered. I slept peacefully. The only comment i will make was i saw children running in and out of their room multiple times. This world is becoming a dangerous place and i feel they needed adult supervision
- 2/5
I would not recommend this place to anybody. I left a day early after informing them that I was leaving 3 days before we left. I could not get e refund. I was told to contact Expedia

I bought paper towels and dish soap. Regular coffee in the lobby, no decaf. No coffee maker in the room. No salt, pepper, etc. Hand soap and shampoo provided. Easy on and off pgwbt. Nearby Walmart.

Love staying here every time I travel to Texas. Very quiet and close to everything

Hard to like anything about these accommodations: NO HOT WATER, limited front desk availability, no working soda machine, confusing location of television channels and no one available at front desk to explain.

Everything’s fine except an ice machine. They have big refrigerator though, but you have to make your own ices , if needed.

Not-so-good. Our room was not ready and we arrived at 4pm. My wife had to help the poor cleaning lady get our room ready. She was super nice though. No shower curtain, toilet did not work properly, water pressure in the bathroom room was very weak and no ice machine provided. Overrall it was ok. But probably not going to stay again.

The rooms were nice and clean. The hallways and lift smelled a little though. We stayed on the fourth floor and could not connect to the hotel wifi. We informed the front desk about this issue, stayed there for a week and they didn't care to fix it. Customer service wasn't great. However, rooms were well kept.

The elevator and hallways smell terrible. It’s unbearable.
