The staff were helpful the room was clean albeit very old fashioned. The morning breakfast was disappointing with no cooked breakfast. Only fruits and self serve bread etc. with a bit of salmon. Expect better for the price rate

No patio nor outside space for quiet enjoyment. Corridors felt institutional and sterile.

The room was exceptional and provided everything you may need. Comfy bed. Big bathtub. I still can’t get over the French press in the room!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The downstairs bar area was great for gathering. We were there with a large group. My only complaint was we couldn’t get the room cool enough so we were hot sleeping.

We loved the old elegant look and feel of the room and lobby/bar area. Rooms were very comfee, spacious, and clean. Plenty of parking, perfect location to walk the Main street and enjoy the restaurants/bars and enjoy the downtown night life. Sunday mornings theres a Street Fair with fresh produce! Will definitely stay there again. Oh the hotel had a nice coffee and breakfest set up in the bar that was included!

Perfect for a couples retreat

The hotel was spotless. Every were you looked they had fresh fruit and granola bars for snacks. They think of everything like a cell phone charger in your room. Rooms are big. The Hotel is walking distance to the town full of restaurants to choose from. They have limited covered parking but do have car chargers. Breakfast was wonderful. Lobby was beautiful. This hotel fires on all cyclinders.

Beautiful hotel with historic architecture feeling and high quality 4.5 star rating. We love coming back to stay here 2-3x per year. Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is free and accessible. Breakfast is nice specially we see more organic foods making it better.

Such a nice hotel- it’s a bit overpriced but the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in any hotel and I’ve been too many. Spacious room, amazing tub and shower. The breakfast could’ve been a little bit more nicer considering the price

The room was spacious and the bathroom was all marble and mosaic tile. Continental breakfast was very nice - fresh fruit, smoked salmon, lox with capers. Bagels, raisin bread, regular bread to toast along with a small selection of pastries. There are complimentary goodies in the lobby and hallway and popcorn in the bar in the evening. Wonderful experience!

Every year my husband and I stay at the Rose Hotel when my company has its holiday party. Every year it is the absolute best. I've gotten multiple people also turned on to the hotel and now they stay there for the company party as well. Everybody loves it.

This hotel is a complete gem. Excellent service, spotless and very well appointed. The shower water pressure was amazing. Nice turn down service, delicious breakfast and located next to a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

Love the hotel, our room and the location. This was our 4th visit and we ended up in a smaller room than previous visits; I need to figure out which room we loved and be sure to book it next time. Breakfast is a nice continental, the coffee is good, the staff is great. Location on the edge of downtown is perfect. And they have EV charging in the garage. Lots of little niceties like bathrobes, candies on the bed, slippers, comfy chairs (two of them!) in the room to relax and read in. This is one of our favorite hotels. The pocket door in the bathroom was really hard to move. However I am confident they will fix it.

This hotel is so charming! The morning buffet breakfast in the sunny lobby bar is lovely. It is situated on main street where there were multiple outstanding choices to have drinks, dine and shop. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, and helpful.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Breakfast is amazing.

With that being the room was 75 degrees the whole time. We turned it down to 68, and it never went down until 10:30am on the morning we were leaving. We had 3 rooms and they were all the same temp. We had a wedding Friday night so needless to say we didn’t sleep when we came back due to the hot room.

Excellent hotel, well worth the stay!

We loved staying here. It had a little dollhouse type of vibe. Even the street outside was clean and friendly to walk and it was filled with restaurants lot of options for dining.

Really great .. I would just say they need larger TVs in rooms. The size of rooms was fabulous… TV was hard to see though do to its small size a large size of room

Was told they didn't have a reservation when we went to check in and had to pay for a double bed room (the only room they had available). They said it waas a 3rd party web site issue and will claim as a fraudulent charge if not refunded promptly.

With the x-mas decorations it felt like I was at someone's home & I felt comfortable. I didn't like that my name was place in the suest book without my knowledge

It's a lovely luxury hotel with large, graciously appointed rooms and attention to details. There are snack stations on the main and second floors.The curved stairway to the second floor provides a grand entrance.

It's a perfect hotel.

The property was stylishly, richly appointed, impeccably clean and provided many unexpected amenities: coffee, tea, and treats at all hours, turn-down service, fresh fruit on every floor, a French press for morning coffee, soaking tub with jets. Breakfast was elegantly presented and upscale. Many dining options within a block or two and a Saturday farmer’s market. Staff always greeted us sincerely. It was as if we had been transported to a fine French hotel. It was perfect in every way.

Top notch boutique hotel, walking distance to old downtown area. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh lox, strong coffee and unusual fruits. Well worth the price.

And having a Tesla plug in makes it sooooo convenient ! If we're near Pleasanton we would NEVER think about another place to stay !

Nicest hotel in Pleasonton, great decoration for Christmas

Room was excellent and very spacious. I’d highly recommend upgrading within the hotel for the night on the town package (includes a bottle of champagne and a $50 gift card to use towards one the local restaurants within walking distance).

I have never ever stayed in a nicer, classy hotel in my life. Location, parking, staff all stellar. The room and furnishings absolutely beautiful. This is THE place to stay!

Perfect from start to finish! Loved the warm welcome and the home like feel of our room. The Hotel lobby was decorated for Christmas and looked beautiful! All the little things made our stay so wonderful we want to stay here for our anniversary every year from now on!

Spotlessly clean. Amenities in rooms stellar. Lobby breakfast buffet in morning delicious. Overall the hotel had the feel of a fine, European, family run property. We loved it. Walk right out front door to lots of reataurants, shops and open park areas. Wineries and tasting rooms close by. Pleasanton a delightful, historical town. Oldest wine producing region on the state.

The Rose Hotel never fails to impress. The team and property are top notch and I always enjoy my stays. The location is ideal for walking to many different restaurants and easy access to freeways, but not so close you hear it.

Literally the best hotel stay we've ever had. Details, service, everything was spot on.

This is such a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing hotel. They pay attention to all the little details. We love the jetted hot tub, all the fun little amenities, the beautiful big comfy room and king bed. Really, it’s just a beautiful hotel all around. If we had to change one thing, it would be to suggest that they get their pastries from Primrose.

This modern hotel was built to specs of the 1840. It sparkles with posh elegance! Amities are everywhere, extras in the lobby fresh baked cookies, bowls of candy and popcorn in the bar, bowls of fruit and snacks on every floor and in room extras - all free. Located on Main Street with wonderful restaurants up and down the street!

This place was amazing! Our room was spacious and comfortable. My husband and I truly appreciated the Happy Anniversary welcome sign. The attention to detail is impeccable and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are luxurious and have everything you could ask for. Bathroom is huge, all marble, jetted tub, giant walk in shower, separate toilet area. Bed was so comfortable, the room was large and they literally thought of everything. High end, clean and beautiful hotel. Great staff, great breakfast in the morning as well. Loved our stay! Great area and lost of restaurants in the area as well! Even live music outside- what a wonderful surprise.

3 of us did a little girls trip to wine taste and found the Rose Hotel to stay the night at. We were all so very pleasantly surprised at how quaint and charming this hotel is! So many cute, lovely touches, like the turn down service with the cutest little box of chocolates and earbuds and balm left by our pillows! Real, fresh roses in the lobby and room. Peets coffee 24/7. Clean, super cute hotel. Loved the old fashioned decor and vibe. Not old in a bad way, but so so charming! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area. I would 100000% return!

Great boutique hotel.

We loved the Rose Hotel! It was so beautiful and time was spent on every detail to make guests comfortable and happy: from the decor to the turn down service and breakfast. We are able to go wine tasting in nearby Livermore and then come back to a delicious dinner within walking distance from the hotel. We will be returning!

Most incredible stay of my life! I’ve never been in a hotel this nice. The room was massive, the bed was a cloud, the soaking tub was a dream. The staff was so kind with our late check in after our wedding and we had the best stay we could have imagined.
