I enjoyed my stay; it was clean and quiet, I could rest easily, and the staff was professional and had a positive attitude. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, and my family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We will return.

I travelled 2 hrs from home and booked in advance and the office was closed. There are suspicious people hanging around.

The online photos are nothing at all like what you will see in person. Where do I begin. Well, when we first arrived we noticed that there were sketchy people standing, sitting on curbs and hanging out in their cars in the parking lot. When we went to park there was no parking except far back behind Clarion's parking lot, in another hotels parking lot, which also had people hanging out in the parking lot. When we walked into the hotel the first thing I noticed was several ceiling tiles missing in the lobby, exposing wires. Once we went to our room, the first thing we noticed was that we had two double beds, when the reservation was for 1 king. My sister who was in the room next to us also had two beds when she also reserved a single king. There were stains on the bed comforters and holes in the broken and leaning desk chair. When I went to pick up the phone to call the front desk there was no dial tone. The phone didnt even work. So, from there we decided to just go to the front desk to speak with the staff. On the way out of the room I needed to use the restroom. After using the restroom I flushed and the water would not go down. I then went to wash my hands and the water in the sink did not work. I had to wash my hands in the tub. At that point we knew this hotel would not work for us, so we went to the front desk and requested they refund our money and we would find somewhere else to stay for the weekend. They had no problem issuing the refunds. Horrible hotel.

The rooms are very outdated and not the cleanest hotel

This hotel was disgusting , nothing like the pictures. Very deceiving. Me and my family was in town for my daughter’s graduation and was refunded our money and opted to stay an hour away instead of this nasty disgusting hotel. Worse experience and hotel I have ever booked!!

Breakfast sucked

I couldn’t unlock the back door with key. Had to go through the lobby to get back in. I didn’t receive my $50 deposit on card.

The refrigerator banged all night and the toilet did not work. The shower floor was rusted. The food they advertised for free breakfast was not available. They only had pictures up. There was nefarious activity happening in front of the building. Before starting my stay I asked if the hotel functioned as a shelter and. I was told no only to discover the clerk lied.

My first room didn’t have no heat so i asked for another room… the elevator didn’t work so i had to walk outside in the cold to go up and down the stairs MULTIPLE times…… once my room key was giving to the second room it would not work i kept trying multiple times and the door would not unlock.. i went downstairs they kept giving me the same key that STILL didn’t work except one time after multiple attempts… terrible experience never going to them ever again

The lock latch wasn’t working in the first room and the second one smelled of smoke although non-smoking room. The third room was missing a pillow, but attendant was nice and replaced missing pillow. There is coffee but no hot cocoa, and the elevator wasn’t working so we had to take the outside emergency stairs in 30° weather.

The room had bed bugs & roaches. When the manager was notified, he became very belligerent and argumentative. Not accommodating at all. Would not recommend!

I spent one night after my wedding, since the next day I was going to my honeymoon and we were tired, but that was a horrible experience. The staff was very rude and the place very old and on poor condition. I regret to take my wife to that very uncomfortable place. I don't recommend this place to nobody. I wasted my money.

Not safe or clean

Room was clean and they upgraded the rooms. Sai did check in and helpedme with my lagguage and he is very freindly. Nice place I would recommend this place.

Said hot full breakfast. It had limited options and the food was TERRIBLE. tasted almost like left overs. Room was extremely gross like they never swept and had stains on furniture. Bed made a really loud squeaking sound anytime you moved a muscle not to mention the pillows were toddler sized. Was REALLY trashy outside & smelled like weed and cigarettes. Heard many people yelling and partying late at night ( I had my 4 children with me and It deff is not a place for children).

We liked that we got out deposit back. While the staff was friendly, this was the worst experience we have had. The hallways are filthy and smell strongly of weed despite it being a 100% smoke-free hotel. The lobby was also heavily perfumed, possibly to mask the smell of weed and cigarettes. Our room was disgusting. The walls were gross with an obvious dirty handprint and water stains, plus splotches on the door that looked suspicious. The floor was also very sticky. One bed sheet had an old blood stain, and the other bed had a mystery stain on the mattress cover. All the doors have a 1 to 2 inch gap under at the bottom, which is very concerning. To top it off, we had some random guy knocking at our door twice at around 10pm, and with the room phone disconnected, we felt extremely unsafe and had to leave after that and find somewhere else to stay.

Everything. Awful stay. Filthy, noisy, smelled like marijuana & garbage, elevator was out of order, staff was indifferent, and now having trouble getting my deposit back, although they claim the $50 hold was removed.

Bad service and creepy place

First when we pulled in the parking lot is dark and there was random people in the parking lot peeking out doors. We checked in and went to our room. There is bugs all over the hotel, the halls and rooms smell like weed. There is a 2 inch gap between the floor and the door so things can come under the door: My kids and I did not even put our things down before we walked back to the front and checked out. They did refund our money without hesitation. Definitely learned my lesson and need to research much better before booking a hotel.

The room was moist, had mold, and bugs. Linens were dirty and smelly.

I like the inside of the room how spacious it is I did not like the shower. The location is OK it’s just the people that lingers around the location. Makes the hotel downgrade.

Breakfast was bigger than most cheap hotels and the rooms had queen beds rather than doubles which was why we picked this place. Staff was friendly. Overall, not bad for the price but not great either.

The property is old and appears to have undergone some minor renovations, but they are of poor quality. The ceiling has water damage, and there are stains on the furniture and mattress. The shower doesn’t drain, and the air has an old smell from the air conditioner.

It was cool

The stay was okay, and the bed was clean and comfortable but the chair was very dirty, and there was a gap under the door to our room where you could see inside. The walls are also very thin and we could hear everything in the room next to ours.

The hotel was very humid and mucky and when we got to our room there was what looked like mold growing all over the painted wall, where the bed was, where we’d be laying our heads. The cloth chair was damp from the humidity and the leather chair was dirty with random splatters. We were also the 3rd party to complain about their room after checking in. The service wasn’t terrible and they gave us a refund immediately but just not a great experience.

From mold on the walls, to dirty sheets and floors, stains in the bathroom, and burn marks on the chairs. This entire hotel needs a make over. Breakfast was cold every day and I had to constantly get a new key made every time I came back in Not to mention the parking lot “closes” at 11 so you are unable to be outside your room after 11 because it is an unsafe area from what the manager said Overall I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone

The area is a challenge to be safe, look, watch and be aware of surroundings.

The pictures do not represent the actual facilities. Also the breakfast was cold and stale. The room appeared clean however outdated for the price.

When I arrived, no one was at the front desk, I had to wait in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes. An attendant named Jordan came to the desk and he was very nice man. I informed before I made the reservation that I had mobility issues and thankfully my room was on the first floor, I only had to navigate 4 steps. The elevator was out of service. I saw a roach in the dresser on my last night. The bathtub was disgusting, it looked as if someone removed a bathmat that had been stuck there for years. I did not use the bathtub, then the water on hot came out at a very low pressure. I definitely will not be staying at this hotel again.

This is a property trying. I feel like someone bought the place recently, made some upgrades and repairs but is still working on it. The room was clean but at times the elevator and hallways were not crisp. Ok, but not excellent. The room was comfortable. What a terrible hotel in upkeep and condition. People yelling and loud music from the parking lot. If you have kids stay away

Our room was overlooking the main road. Not a highway but was around 5 lanes in each direction. We could barely hear the TV over the road news and woke up around 5am from the loud mufflers. This hotel is not safe, the doors are propped open, the elevators don't work and the stairs are all outside where anyone can walk in. The safety latch on our door was bent and broken as though someone already had trouble with a break-in. Horrible smell in the halls and stains on the bedding. The only thing separating us from leaving upon arrival was the 4 hr round trip and 8am game in the morning. You get what you pay for! My kid was staying about 20 mins north in a super nice fairfield but it was 220/night.

This property is clean, but smells of smoke even though it is a smoke free facility. There are loud people in rooms and hallways. The rooms are not as pictured. So not stay here. We stayed for one night I refused to shower in the shower.

This place was not safe. Homeless people,drug addicts, and prostitutes hanging out all around. This hotel should not be on Expedia. I have never stayed in such a dump. Was woke up at 3am by people in the hallway banging walls, cussing, and being loud.

Outdated, very dirty, sheets had other people's hair on it. Room was not ready when I arrived hours after check-in time started.

We heard people talking in the hallway all night. It looked like the dirt in the hallways was swept against the walls. The rooms looked like fixed up bedrooms and by the time i made it to the room I was afraid to sleep in the bed (afraid we'd get bedbugs or something). I couldn't sleep most the night.

Breakfast was ok, bagels, activia yogurt, make your own waffle, and cereal. Orange, apple, grape juice and coffee and milk. The room we were in had a microwave and fridge, the fridge was super loud and also had a used towel sitting on top of it, I assume for a leak or condensation. The coffee pot also had an old used coffee filter in it, so cleanliness clearly isn’t a huge a priority given the way everything has added up. Housekeeping was always seen wandering the halls, blasting music, but only seemed to collect trash from the rooms and restock towels and tp. I don’t recommend staying here alone. All doors leading outside were not locked, so anyone could enter without a key card. If not that, then they were propped open with towels at all hours. This feels very unsafe. The front desk staff are the only positive about this location. They were friendly and helpful, and prompt when we needed assistance, like our key card malfunctioning.

The elevator doesn't work. The stairs are partially outside. The bathroom wall was peeling off, no towels to shower, the phone doesn't work too call for anything. The guy at the front desk was nice but didn't understand English very well.

The worst hotel a visit in my life i pay 180 for 2 nights. I should get 1 king size bed but they didn’t have any king size so they give 2 queen bed i was ok but when i got to the room i found out myself was involve in this trash can room the humidity from that room was getting me sick i wake up the next morning early to get my money back but the guy from front desk refuse to give back my money…. But never in my life going back to that place.

To make matters worse, the hallways reeked of an unbearable stench that was nauseating. And if that wasn’t enough, we encountered several individuals who seemed to be loitering in the hallways, making us feel unsafe. It’s not an exaggeration to say the place seemed to attract a questionable crowd. We didn’t even think twice about staying. We left immediately. This place is a complete scam, and the photos they use online are completely misleading. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Overall unkept and no very well maintained.

Please stay literally anywhere else. I am not high maintenance at all. Typically I just sleep in the room and that’s it so I’m not worried about a lot of amenities but this place is awful. Absolutely filthy. Front desk staff gave away my room so I had to take a room with double beds instead of the king I paid for. Then they REQUIRED me to inspect the room first. I was so confused and he said “we don’t give refunds so here is the key, go make sure the room is clean enough for you”. Like. What? Isn’t the room clean? It was so strange. So I had to go all the way to the room and look at it and then come all the way back to check in. Incredibly loud and noisy. Hallways were filthy and trash everywhere. If it hadn’t been so late and we had been traveling all day, we would have left. Instead we just slept for a few hours then checked out asap in the morning. Seriously. Stay. Somewhere. Else. NOTHING like the photos!

Alot of.people walking around the parking lot. The smell of Marijuana. The room next to us fought loudly starting at 6:30 AM and went on until we left at 9:00 cause we couldnt sleep and nothing was done to stop it. We called the front desk after being woke up to yelling and throwing of things at 6:30 and never handled. Would never recommend this location and me and the wife will never stay again.

My car got broken into because of the terrible location, the hotel allows crack addicts to roam around the hotel. Also they have no safety precautions for their customers. They told me that the cameras were for show and they’re actually broken so I couldn’t even see who broke into my car. My firearm was stolen and all of my barber material’s were stolen it added up to 600 dollars worth of stolen property.

Shady, stinky, rude staff.

The room was hot, ac did not really cool the room down. Someone threw up on the 2nd floor stairwell and it was there u til I had to go to the front desk and advise there was vomit. The elevator was out of order so I had to walk through vomit to get to the floor where my room was.

First the elevator was out of order for my days stays. Then the rug to the room outside was dirty with gardens on it. The breakfast was bad. Then the last day in the morning getting ready to leave find one roach that i had kill.

You could check in with credit card, but they only wanted cash if you wanted to buy sodas or snacks (that was sketchy)… the phones don’t work on the property (all the room lines are cut off)! Not a good experience here.

I initially booked in Nightdale and to my surprise, hours later I received an email that I was booked at the clarion on capital boulevard l!!!! This hotel is horrible!!! It seems like it houses homeless people! It was smelly in the hallways and in the room as well! I specifically requested a non smoking room but the room where I was put smells like it has been smoked in! The mattress was bad, the bed is made in wires and i could not sleep confortable! The breakfast is an insult to clients! I cannot even describe it. I am definitely filing a complaint to the better business bureau as this was a terrible experience! No way you should pay $500 for such nonsense!!!! I am super disappointed.

When I arrived the front desk told me that my room wasn't ready because it wasn't clean. (This was at 10PM) I waited 45mins to get to my room. The front desk offered me chips and water while I waited. The hallway smells like weed and mildew. The parkinglot isn't safe please lock your doors dont leave anything of value in your car. This is unacceptable.

None of the plugs in my room worked, the bathroom door was broken to the point of not closing, and there were bugs in my room. The neighboring room blasted music from 4:15am to 6:30am, and despite my 15 calls to the front desk at that time (none of which were answered), nobody seemed to care. I would not recommend staying here.

The registration was a breeze, the CSR was helpful and curious. I would stay there again.

The room had bugs ...very unclean and then got double charged and need my money back

There were a few spiders in the bathroom. It was a bit run down but it was about what was expected. The only thing really bothersome was the door locked but had about an inch gap in it, wiggle room, when locked. Bathroom was recently redone and the shower was really nice.

The staff were cool

The best thing that I can say about it was that it was inexpensive, and the bed seemed clean and comfortable. But right as I walked in, you can tell that the hotel has more modern book which is what makes it appealing, but the floors were sticky like I was in a movie theater throughout the lobby And elevator. My room was ok, in a shady looking area. It was average and the bed was very clean. But there was a cockroach in the bathroom.

The first room I was in had roaches crawling in between the conjoining doors. I called down to the desk and they said they will send someone. I had to call two more times for someone to come up. We were able to switch rooms but then the sheets and blankets had black spots on them. This hasn’t happened before at my stay with this hotel. I don’t want to book with them again.

The property was not safe. A dirty rag was holding the door open that should have been closed to prevent outside people from walking to the rooms. The hotel smelled very bad and the sheets were dirty. The shower head was hanging from a hole in the wall.

The lights on the nightstands did not work. Upon entering the room, there was a second door that lead to the outside. The door was unlocked and partially open. I didn't feel completely safe. I probably would NOT stay at this facility again.

I couldn’t sleep at night because of the noise

Besides the unknown creepy crawlers, the prior crime scene of a room we had, and the heater almost falling apart when turning it on I had a peaceful stay, I can say it was quiet.

There were dirt and leaves all over the hallways, the paint in the shower was completely cracked and falling apart. The place needs an update/ renovation overall

When my fiancée and I first walked inside, it had this peculiar smell that gave us a slight headache. Walking into the elevator it felt like it was about to break down any minute. The elevator was untrustworthy. Walking towards our room the hallways were just as trashy as they can be. There was literally trash and debris everywhere. When we got to our room, the room was really decent...except for the bathroom. It was really small. You have to close the door to open up space. The room door itself did not lock because the frame & the lock did not match up with each other. The only lock we had was the latch on the top of the door. When closing the room door, it slams shut & that caused a lot of noise for ourselves & everybody else around us. Every room door is like that, listening to other people's door slam too. The key card that we had stopped working & we had to go to the front desk for them to renew the card. The room walls & doors are so thin that you can hear people's whole conversations & tvs through it. We barely got any good sleep because we kept hearing so much noise from other people & the workers that were outside & inside. Everything seems like it was about to fall apart. This stay was so horrible that we do not want to stay here, or think about this place ever again. We were very dissatisfied with this hotel. We highly recommend that you stay at something 20x better than this raggedy place. We could have just stayed home & had a more enjoyable time home than here!!

This property is connected to the suburban hotel. There’s a lot of sketchy people around the property, which appears unsafe.

The stench in the lobby and rest of hotel were horrible. They used strong chemicals to cover up whatever it was. The carpets in the hallways and some of the furniture in the room were stained everywhere with what looked like blood stains, even the walls had stains from some kind of liquid, There was nobody in the lobby to check us in - had to wait 15min. The emergency exit was propped open - probably so that the drug dealer serving that place had an easier time getting in. Worst experience ever with an Expedia booking - we turned around and left and found another hotel.

This was the most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed at. We checked in and checked out within a few hours because it was too disgusting to even stay at.

Our hotel room looked like it was given the landlord special. Our key cards WOULDNT EVER WORK. We were on the third floor so we had to keep going up and down to get our cards fixed. It was warm throughout the lobby and on our floor. Our room was a little bit cooler but had to blast the a/c then leave until it was cool. The elevator was and IS a safety hazard. Then it finally broke down right before we used it. Some kid pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night. Even then our key cards didn’t work after that so we again had to come back and get them fixed. Never again. BUT the mini fridge was nice.

Probably the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Room was disgusting. Front desk could care less. Everything was wet? Burn marks on the bath tub stains on the carpet. Millipedes everywhere. Everything was dirty. Very unsatisfied.
