Good staff great hotel thank you

The staff was very friendly I did find it odd they asked what vehicle we drove but a few hours later my husband and I saw a vehicle with the lights still on we told the front desk and they were very prompt at informing the person whose vehicle it was so it was very fortunate that they do ask what vehicle people are coming in by. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options for every dietary need. The room was spacious and the air conditioning works amazing considering when we stayed it was a very very hot weekend. Will definitely be staying there again when we go back to visit family

We showed up an hour ahead of our check in time, and they gave us permission to use the wifi while we waited to check-in. The desk agent checked to see if our room was ready, and she confirmed that it was ready, so we were allowed to check in early, and my son was able to do his entire virtual school event in our room. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and I'm very happy with the handicap suite that accommodated our whole family.

There was no food in the hotel to offer for dinner. I was told to go to the deli across the street- but they were closed for an employee meeting. A hotel with guests staying overnight should have food available.

We booked this room based on reviews of an excellant full breakfast, starting early. This was the standard, boring continental breakfast and everything was very cold and inedible. We were there shortly after starting at 7:00. There is a great restaurant within walking distance that was recommended by the front desk for lunch/dinner. Dill's Deli - I can't recommend enough! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Staff was great but the room reeked of smoke which is unacceptable considering it states their rooms are smoke free. Beds not comfortable but the breakfast was good.

I came to check in after a long day of driving with my family and my room had been “cancelled”. Expedia says the hotel cancelled, the hotel says Expedia cancelled. Either way, they had no rooms available, we had to leave and no one was helpful or accommodating. Will never return to Comfort Suites and will consider using Expedia again in the future because no one wants to help you at the hotel when you book third party.

Clean rooms, welcoming staff!

This was a very pleasant and comfortable stay for our family. My daughter turned seven, and she had a great time with other kids in the pool. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I wish there were more towels available at the pool, but that would be my only complaint.

My only complaint was the bed and pillows were awful, like really really bad, my back and neck were killing me. Otherwise the front desk lady was the sweetest and super helpful. Nice little hotel, especially for families.

The carpet in the hallway was old and the elevator was very slow. There was mold in the sink. The main bed acceptable. The pull out couch was terrible. There were stains on the bedspread, couch, and window shades. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice. We did not use the pool. We will not stay there again.

The bathroom was not clean. The room smelled like skunk when the a/c was on. The front desk staff was not helpful when they were asked for room cleaning or for an extension on check out. The breakfast was out the first day and they had a hard time keeping up with the food. The garbages were overflowing. There was trash on the floor in the elevator.

I stayed one night, but it was a very nice stay. The only very minor inconvenience was all the clocks in the room were set at different times, and they were all wrong. But that was not a big deal since I used my phone for time. The rest was nice and I am staying there again on my way back

The room gad a very disturbing odor and the staff couldn’t move us to another room because the hotel was fully booked.

The only thing that brings this stay down was location which made for a terrible night’s sleep. This was the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The noise from the freeway and also from the road halfway circling the room made it nearly impossible to sleep. I could never spend another night here.

The hotel was straightforward to reach from I-5. The lady at the front desk was friendly for the most part, except when we asked for extra towels lol. The room itself was okay; it was clean, nothing to complain about. There was a pool in the hot tub, which felt a little dirty as we found hair in both, so it grossed us out.

the cheese omelet and sausages were fabulous! So was the selection of fruit juices and cereals - an amazing deal for a budget traveler. the hot tub was perfect, with strong adjustable jets. the staff was patient and friendly and made us feel welcome instantly upon arrival. our room was sparkling clean and the beds were luxurious and everything in the room and in the bathroom worked fine. I cannot think of one thing that needs improving. We will always be looking for comfort suites when we travel and join their motel club if they have one.

Hotel would not allow us to check into the hotel since we were local residents. I have a special needs adult son with special plans for a night with swimming. Shame on this hotel!!!!!!!!!

The staff was incredibly kind and the property is close to the highway for easy access, yet, quiet so as to get a good nights sleep. The area around the elevators is a bit rundown, but, the rooms were very clean, as, were all other public areas. They provide a great breakfast with plenty of options. Overall, a very good saty.

Booked it on hotels.com and when i checked in they denied over my home residence being in the same town. Thankfully my partner had an out of state id or we would've out the money since it's non refundable despite nothing stating at the time the reservation was made that I couldn't get a room if I'm local. Our stay was amazing! The lady at the front desk was the best part, we checked in at 5 on Thursday December 11th and I regret I didn’t get her name but she was absolutely amazing! During our stay anytime she was on shift she was so personable and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, room was amazing, but that front desk lady is why I will be back everytime we come to Redding and we come a lot!

Nice sized room, beds were comfy. Lots of options for breakfast! My only complaint was lady in front desk made a rude remark.. when i told her my last name she said "English please.." and laughed. I did not find it very funny even if it was a true joke on her end. She also mentioned there was a 60 mile rule that they wont let people who live close by stay. I didnt notice that under the listing, thankfully we came from a bit farther.. I did not hear her mention to another family that was checking in as i walked by

Carpet in the whole building is very dirty. Inside the room is okay. Children were running in the hallway first floor with wet clothes on water dripping out of their clothes. Wet hallways.

The room was clean but there were a lot of stains. Security was the largest issue. Someone tried to get into the room late at night and the next morning the door wouldn’t latch properly when I was leaving. Front desk wasn’t concerned

Hot tub bottom is very rough on the skin. Always full of foam and makes my skin itchy and red. This is the second and last year we are staying there.

The staff were considerate and patient during our check in. There was a wonderful verity for breakfast. My only complaint is that the bathtub took an extremely long time to drain and for 140$ it would have been nice to have a fully functional shower.

Staff was fabulous but walls were very thin. Rooms were old and dated, couch was dirty bed was hard. The hot tub seemed dirty. Breakfast had plenty of options for us and the lady keeping everything stocked during breakfast was warm and welcoming. If i need acheqp room ill come back again because the staff was welcoming.

This is where we stay every time we visit Redding. The location is perfect for our agenda, breakfast is always fantastic, the staff is beyond helpful, and our kids love the pool area and workout facility. The outdoor seating off the pool is a great place for adults to relax as well.

Very nice, updated hotel with excellent staff for check-in and check-out. The breakfast options were varied and tasty. The breakfast room was extremely clean. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is in a quiet area.

We stayed at quite a few different hotels over the last week throughout California and WOW, did we save the best for last. This place was incredible. Clean, quiet, staff was amazing. 10/10 will stay here next time we pass through town.

Everything about the place was good or excellent. Staff were professional and friendly, free breakfast was a welcome bonus, room was large and clean, furniture in top condition. Parking was good and ample. Only downside was one could still hear traffic on Interstate 5, but we still slept well. All round, very good experience and would return in an instant.

We request a handicap room, but when we arrived there were none available. We weren't told that there wasn't any availble when it was booked. The room we were given didn't have a hand-held shower head, but they gave us a wobbley shower chair, we tighten it up.

The sunk was plugged upon entering the frint desk lady was harsh i couldn't use microwave. Adu shower sprays outwardly onto bathroom fliir . Makes no sense. No conditioner. Not clean and. The owner does not alliq locals to rent from here. This is evil. Idc if yu have problems with orher local ppl. Thats 100 evil wrong. So my house is flooded and since i live in redding i cant rent a room here.!!

Nothing very unique but the staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly for as many tasks they had to do. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. Much too hard. If I remember correctly they said the indoor pool was heated and it was not. Again the staff was very good.

Paid for a weekend suite through an app on my phone. Once I arrived I was immediately turned away for being a "local". Not the first time I've seen something like this but was definitely the first time I was treated with disdain and hostility. The little boy at the front desk needs to realize that some people don't take kindly to having their anniversary weekend ruined for some stupid policy, and that maybe a little understanding of the situation would have gone a long way. Kids these days have no idea what actual customer service is.

I was really surprised how nice this Hotel was. I booked for my family and I to stay after a day at the water park. Super great location, very friendly staff and the room was way bigger than most. Then was had the breakfast in the morning. I was impressed with the selection of hot and “grab and go” style food. I would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are dingy, clean but very worn out. Couch, ottoman, desk chair all had tears/stains. No soap in the bathroom. The blackout blinds did not keep light out. The staff is very friendly, so that’s a plus.

We could definitely hear the kids in the family sharing a wall with us. They quieted at night, so the disruption was limited. Breakfast was mediocre. It’s a very small dining room trying to accommodate a lot of foot traffic and families looking for a table. Stay was fine overall, but next time I am in Redding I will almost certainly spend a little more and stay in a nicer place.

I stayed here for a conference recently and felt very welcomed and safe. It was clean and breakfast being included was a huge plus. I would stay here again, especially given its proximity to the event I was attending.

The dayshift clerk was very friendly, very efficient and helpful. I'm sorry I did not write down his name. Older gentleman, white hair. Excellent employee. The breakfast was okay, but seriously; how can you be out of butter two days in a row? Also, the coffee is awful. A very nice little room, but the bathroom fan was very noisy and did not pull air. I suspect something is broken there in room 209.

False fire alarm went off around 4am in all room ! Very disturbing as my child got off crying and scared and everyone in the whole hotel! Surprisingly, no hotel staff cared to let people know everything was ok and safe! Everyone I met at breakfast area was talking about the alarm and how grumpy they were as they couldn’t sleep anymore !

Travel to the area a lot. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The whole facility was very clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and very nicely presented. The staff was friendly and attentive

Great dog friendly hotel with good inclusive breakfast

I like the convenience, close to the freeway but away from the noise. The area is too commercial. There is not enough area for a dog friendly hotel.

The layout of the room was nice. The room seemed a little outdated but it was clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

The whole room and furniture are in bad condition, the bed has small stains. The shower head does not work well, the curtain in the bathroom does not close well, which is why water leaks onto the floor. The staff at the front desk is vulgar and impolite, only a nice girl in the kitchen greeted everyone and smiled sincerely. This hotel does not deserve its 8.8 rating, its maximum rating is 7

Quick trip, friendly staff and clean hotel

Clean and friendly!

We were making a quick family trip to Oregon and couldn't finish the drive. Looked for a pet-friendly hotel just before midnight and found Comfort Suites. Russell, the only on-staff person, who was pretty new, was very friendly and helpful in our check-in process. The hotel was clean, safe, and provided a free breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly and professional.

Just a fantastic stay. Super friendly helpful down to earth staff. Manager is very nice. Clean, comfortable. I cant say enough. Quiet rooms. Kids werw next door & we couldnt even hear them. We WILL be staying with them again!!!

The property is pretty clean and most staff friendly. The in room fridge needs cleaning and the couch cushions are frayed. Breakfast was great! We've stayed here several times and the price and value are good.

The common bathrooms and pools were not clean. The room had a stale and bad smell. It smells like someone had smoked in the room though it is supposed to be non smoking. The couch looked a little grimy. We noticed the staff and they offered air fresher but it was barely masking the smell. They were fully booked so they couldn't switch room for us. We appreciate the staff's offer but maybe the cleaning staff can make sure the rooms are clean and if the rooms smell funky to report and let the management know as it could be previous customers smoking when they should not and they could have taken steps to make sure the room is clean and fresh before the next guests arrive or not offer the room.

Excellent room, pool and breakfast. Enjoyed 1 night stay with family.

Making reservations from the beginning to the end was very easy. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable and they put us in an area where we could hardly hear any traffic. The breakfast was a full breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Very nice clean quiet

I like that the hotel was easy to get on and off from the freeway and the breakfast had a good selection. Would have rated the stay higher but the fridge and microwave in my room didn’t work and there was a cockroach in the bathroom the morning I left. When I reported the issues to the front desk they thanked me but didn’t seem too worried by my report nor offered to discount anything for the inconvenience

great hotel, standard breakfast was good.

We only stayed one night but the room and property were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast options were plentiful. There were plenty of clean thick towels, which was nice since I normally have to ask extra. The only things that I thought could've been better were the thin sheets and toilet paper. Also, the toilet paper holder was in a really difficult to reach spot.

Amazing stay! The location right off of I-5 was perfect. It was easy to get anywhere in Redding. The breakfast was very nice, the service at the breakfast was exceptional and the service at check-in was fast and friendly. The fitness room is available 24 hours and the water tasted great!
