The rooms here are super nice! The omelette bar in the morning makes a great…omelette. Quiet and close to downtown.

Watch the Jacuzzi during the early morning hours. When I went out to take my dog, there was a homeless guy in there washing his clothes and bathing.

The room was very clean and set up very nicely. Loved the pool area and was happy to have a cool room all night. What was disappointing is that I booked a pet friendly room and expected that to be final price. It felt like the extra $50 for my pet to stay was not disclosed before booking. This made a huge difference for me and is worth losing 2 stars because I would have preferred an interior room and I would have found elsewhere for my dog. We only needed to stay since our power was out for one night for maintenance, so my dog would have been fine, and I would have saved $50.

Front desk clerk was welcoming and friendly. Actually, all the staff that I came across were very helpful and courteous. I don't think I recall any other place where each staff member I met during my stay was courteous. Room was nice and clean. There was a mini-fridge and microwave. Perfect for families or leftovers. There is EV charging and free parking. We had 2 cars so we just had to list the model and color or license plate #s when checking in for security. There was plenty of parking and at least 3 disabled parking spots. I think there were 2 with universal charging spots and 2 spots for Tesla charging. One of the Tesla chargers was not working though. Got to the breakfast buffet a little close to the end, but there were warm scrambled eggs (plain and the other with some seasoning), salsa available, sausages, hot regular coffee including decaf, hot water for tea, at least 3 different juices, some pastries and breads, some fruit like bananas, and at least 3 types of cereal and a wafflemaker. There is a dining area, but you can also take the plates to your room to eat. Was told to clear off the plate and leave them on the table in the room and housekeeping will take care of it. Checked out over the phone. Would stay here again.

The #1 thing that I found exceptional was the staff...very friendly & professional Ariana at the front desk greets with a smile. I love the room size and the amenities offered in the room. our bed was comfortable. The AC is slightly loud. The spare pillow in the closet smelled like it needed to be laundered.My guess is someone used it and put it back in the closet and the staff didn't know it had been used.Everything else was perfect.

Towels are thick and fluffy! One out of three pillows was smelly and flat! After first housekeeping clean up, soiled bath towels were taken out but not replaced! Breakfast was good, thoughtful enough to provide vegetarian scrambled eggs and the friendly chef was always there to replenish & serve every guest! Overall, okay with this location!

Hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious.. bed comfy. My only negative is the location of the hotel. It’s in a rougher area. Next to a car dealership and riff raff on the street. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool because our stay was short and busy but the pool area looked nice.

Our late check-in was fast and easy. The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean too. Fresh sheets and towels. We would book here again if we are visiting this area.

The rooms are amazingly clean and spacious and the staff was amazing with me... They only take card and I only brought cash lol 😆, but other than that it was amazing and the pool was so clean would definitely recommend the stay!!!

The water pressure was bad. The rooms next to the freeway were very noisy. The AC unit is also very noisy. If you don’t care about those things, it’s a great place to stay.

My wife and I have stayed here before. The room they gave us this time was excellent. Vaulted ceiling, spacious room, efficient staff, etc.

Manager had a welcome on Thursday for all personnel at the hotel which included food and libations. Monday thru Friday a chef takes orders for specialty omelettes and also served scrambled eggs, sausage etc as well as coffee tea and juices. Dishes and silverware was removed to the kitchen for cleaning regularly allowing for a clean appearance in the bussing area.

I love this place. It’s like a beautifully kept little castle in the middle of the city. The room was spotless.The grounds are gorgeous. The pool is in the courtyard surrounded by plantings that are well maintained. I highly recommend Ayres Hotel.

Very clean and the front desk staff was kind. It was quiet at night. Cons: Staying near the pool area—very loud and there’s even a grill and lounge area where guests were grilling and playing music out of a big speaker. The breakfast was worse than the usual continental—the scrambled eggs were so oily they glistened and the coffee was unpleasant. The location was a little sketchy with it behind under a bridge by the highway across from a sad Motel 6, but also close to nice areas to drive to. The A/C didn’t have an auto fan setting so it loudly turned on and off all night. The pillows were AWFUL—so flat it was like using no pillow at all. Overall it was fine for one night and cleaner than the usual motels. But I have no idea how it gets an average 9.4 rating.

This place is nice and clean , and everyone is super friendly and it was so nice to get into the hot tub to relax and wake up the next day to have some yummy breakfast.

We visit due to my godson being a Redlands student, we come here to stay from time to time and every time we come we have an amazing experience with staff and rooms. Super clean, breakfast delicious.

First time there the room was clean and stock up with towels too use. The gym area was small little bit of weight but still got my workout done. The pol was heated and i didnt get in because they tole me that if it rain i can't get in, but it did drizzled.

Our only negative was the bath tub. NO handrails! It scared us getting in and out of the shower. And no handrails near the toilet, we used the toilet paper holder as one. /very central located for all our family activities. Tina & Jerry

I was dissapointed. I left and spent time with a friend. Staff was cordial & offered to keep my luggage. However I decided to keep it & came back later in the day. Everything else was great!

We stayed at this property for a concert at Yaamava casino. We were happily surprised on the conditions of the property & rooms. A little disappointed that the car electric chargers stations are Tesla connection only. Breakfast was very good. A pretty good little Mexican takeout restaurant next door with very reasonable prices.

Clean rooms, the staff was great, and laundry room is free while you stay! There's also a barbecue pit outside to use.

The check-in staff was aloof. He was very disturbed that I tried to find a lower price on Expedia. His attitude was he would rather be anywhere but helping me. But when a pretty young lady came in, he was all smilesand very helpful. Normally, I would not be so put off by a staff member's behavior, but this young man was more than discourteous. He needs some training in good old hotel customer service, no matter the customer. I even tried to joke around with the young man. He wasn't having it. We won't be coming back.

Staff is very lacking. This place is not recommended for a blue-collar Individual. There is no mini store on the premises. So if you need medication or you want to frozen dinner, because you've worked all day, they don't have it. Breakfast isn't served until seven AM most blue collar guys start at 5 a m or 6 am. Was told by staff, if there was anything that I wanted.I should have gone to the store before I got there. I've gotten better service at cheaper hotels.Then I did at this one. And what vending machines they do, have they gouge you for 4 dollars for a small bottle of water. I would rather pay more money and stay somewhere else with better amenities. That way, when I get back from work, I don't have to go anywhere.

The second night we were unable to use the pool or the gym- the kids from the soccer team completely took over the entire hotel running around like animals and honestly I couldn’t believe the parents were allowing it, but that’s the only thing that was not great about the trip.

They definitely had the hardest working breakfast chef I've ever seen. She was cooking up eggs, vegetables, omelets and making sure the floors were clean, tables wiped off. She really busted her ass to make the morning work for everybody there, and it was the morning after Valentines day.

Honest opinion. The room was clean and modern but i thought the bed was too hard. Also they used to have a real good omelette breakfast but not its dried out potatoes , eggs and sausage.

Great place to stay. We were surprised at how quiet it was even though we were right next to the freeway. But we, ans others we talked to at breakfast, said the same thing, the bed was very uncomfortable.. very soft and bouncy. Every time someone rolled over the whole bed shook waking the other person up. Side note breakfast was great. There is a person making omelets to order.

Nobody at the front desk upon arrival (waited approximately 10 minutes before anther desk clerk came on duty). Room was clean and comfortable. Somebody on a street adjacent to the property began revving their engines and doing spinouts/donuts around 1:00 a.m. (stopped about 30 minutes later when local law enforcement arrived). Otherwise, the stay was fine...

Breakfast was great. Made to order and fresh fruits available. Room was somewhat clean. Some areas still had some dirt and dust on the floor. Room also had a bad odor when you walk in.

Ive stayed here a few times and its been a great reluef to me that the consistency of the services in which one would expect to get at a nice hotel are remarkably met at this establishment as well as other Ayres Hotels in which I have stayed. From the moment received at the receptibn desk to the check out its a experience to be had . Very very clean and cozy. It was our first time staying at the Ayres. Check in and out was easy breezy. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just ok, way better than the Staybridge Suites in Anaheim near Disneyland. A bit pricey than what we expected for a two night stay but considering it was during the Escape Psycho circus rave event on Halloween weekend, it is what it is! I'd definitely would be staying at The Ayres hotels in the future. It was nicer than Embassy Suites but the breakfast over atvthe Embassy is much more better. The Ayres feels more at home with the more modern details w rhe cozy vibe feels.

What stood out was how unique the style of the hotel was. We were very happy with the size and cleanliness of the room as well.

The hotel is quiet and clean. Take an Uber to Redlands downtown for awesome food. Only issue was I am allergic to feather pillows and was not able to get a foam pillow. Had this issue before. Slept on a couch pillow.

I don't believe in complaining about things out of my control, or the hotel's control, such as upstairs guests being loud and things like that. Everyone is there under different circumstances. When I checked in, I was greeted in a friendly manner and with a smile. I was early for check-in time, and they accommodated me in my room early. My check-in was easy. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of incidentals in the room. The AC worked great. The water had great pressure and was hot for showers. Didn't use the pool, but it appeared clean, maintained, great atmosphere, and inviting. The morning breakfast was wonderful, hot, and of good quality. The property is safe, well-lit, and monitored with security cameras. Plenty of parking available. There are many fast-food and well-known restaurants nearby, and within 5 miles max from the property. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

The room was great... clean, large and comfortable. I would recommend trying to get a room away from Colton Ave. It was a little noisy in the morning or when large vehicles passed. Otherwise, it was perfect and a great bang for the buck.

The staff was excellent and the rooms were top-of-the-line and the breakfast in the morning with Pedro was amazing. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at top five thank you very much. We’ll be back again.

Right off the freeway. Stayed on the opposite side and was quiet. A/C did not work properly though, so it was good that the room had a ceiling fan although my teenage boys felt it was too warm. Very convenient to shopping and entertainment.

Always a great stay!! Home away from home feel!!

I called the hotel after booking to confirm reservation and to advise that I wanted top floor. When we arrived, I was told that they didn’t have any rooms upstairs and that the hotel was all full up. I was upset that the lady I spoke with earlier that day failed to set aside a top room but decided to give it a try. At around 1130pm my wife and I went to bed and the noise from above our room was never ending including was sounded like running and dropping heavy objects. Every time I would fall asleep I would be awakened abruptly by noise. I finally gave up and we decided to drive home to Orange County. I would like a full refund.

2) At approximately 8 am, someone opened our door w/a key. Luckily the chain bolt was latched to stop their entry; the male was looking straight @ me as I was laying in bed; we made eye contact! I yelled very loud so the 2 rooms surrounding us could hear me! Then I called the front desk & was told that our room appeared to be vacant! The front desk apologized!

Was in town for my sons wedding and wanted to try a different hotel that isn't in MN. Much to our surprise, the room prices were decent. The hotel was clean and maid service came to our room daily. They also have an excellent breakfast, made to order omelets and in the evenings they have a happy hour with beverages and snacks. Overall would stay at this hotel again.

I actually stayed in 140 because I’m a disabled person, but they put me right in front of the electrical vehicles only so I had to park across the parking lot. The beds were terrible so hard. The pillows were definitely not what I would’ve bought for myself. Don’t get me started on the toilet. The toilet was so far to the floor. I literally fell on my face, trying to get up being a disabled person that should not have been the room that I took, but the only other ones they had faced the inside of the courtyard and it would’ve caused me great just to get hidden out of my room. I did not like the smell of the room when I got there. The coffee was amazing and so are the staff. They were all very nice but I think the Owner could do was putting a little bit of warmth in his rooms. The refrigerator were good. The TV there was a safe. I think it was really just the beds and the company I had that made it terrible Not to mention the toilet being so far to the floor.

Stayed here recently when seeing a show at Yaamava. Many food options, thrift stores, etc. nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Staff members were welcoming. Great experience!
