The Travel Inn is a small, family run, boutique type motel that is clean, quiet and close to everything you need and the tropical foliage gives it an old Florida feel.

Not at all what we expected. It was in a bad area. The parking was not well lit and it was not very clean.

Rooms are always clean, parking lot is well maintained, and area is quiet.

We ended up missing it and having to loop back around.

The outside is a bit rough, but my room was nice. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to the main roads. Friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The biggest surprise was the tile floors, shower, bathroom facilities plus bedding... All new and clean!. Really all of it was impressive for a small metro motel. It's a port town, but we followed Expedia's recommendation and we're pleased we did.

The room was renovated, but out of date furniture and bedding etc. It was ok for the rate. The staff was nice and much of the rooms were under construction. No coffee for the maker, no ice machines on property.

Only real problem was the AC was noisy.

The room floors and shower were extremely clean except for the shower vent. It look like someone took great efforts to upgrade the rooms to make them somewhat appealing with hand painting on the walls and clouds on the ceiling. Staff was pleasant. Parking easy. A/C was excellent. Area, a little uncomforable but nothing happened so may be just me.

The landscaping was beautiful and very well maintained. We loved the outdoor seating areas. Our room was clean and smelled good, contained a comfortable bed, sitting couch, and a large counter space with two chairs. The updated, spacious bathroom was super clean. A few minutes drive to Blue Heron bridge makes it a perfect location for divers. Walkable to Publix, variety stores and several eateries. Excellent value.

Basic accommodations with friendly service, an updated and beautiful bathroom, and an exceptionally clean room. There was a large closet that my family utilized as an additional changing room for privacy. There was a nice tv, a small fridge, and a microwave. It was less than a five minute drive to a public park with free parking and beautiful beach access. The landscaping is beautiful and shows the price and cafe the owners take with this property.

Rooms are very expensive in the Jupiter / Palm Beach area this time of year. This was the only hotel I could find under $200 per night in a 50-60 mile radius. It was clean, and staff was nice at check in. The bathroom had a large plunger under the sink and my toilet barely flushed at all. If it did flush, it took forever for the water level to go back to normal. I did a lot of plunging without much success. The room was clean, but simple. No frills. The A/C unit was loud, but that was okay. The TV was not high definition. Very basic, blurry, and antiquated.

We arrived a little before noon, and she offered to check us in early for a small fee. While the room was still being cleaned, she recommended a Dunkin nearby where we could wait, and she even watched our luggage for us. That was such a helpful and appreciated gesture. The area does look a little rough like other reviews mentioned, but we felt safe during our stay. We walked a couple of blocks during the day with no issues. I am not sure I would do that at night, but during the day we were fine. The location was perfect for us. We Ubered to Riviera Beach, which was about a mile away, and found some great restaurants. The next morning, we took an Uber to the port, and it was less than 8 minutes away, which made things super easy. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and when we take another cruise, we would definitely stay here again.

Room is updated and good deal for one-night transitional stay. Air conditioning is close to the bed and pretty loud. So if you are a light sleeper be aware. Other than this, feels safe and comfortable.

Parking was very easy with plenty of available spaces, which made coming and going stress-free. The staff was also quick to respond whenever I needed anything, and they were friendly and helpful. Best of all, the price was very reasonable for the quality of the stay. If you’re looking for a simple, clean place to get a good night’s rest at a great price, this is definitely a good option.

The travel inn is an older bay side beach motel. The property is well kept and mai tained. We were looking for a place to spend a night enroute to a cruise. This Inn was perfect. Room was clean, upgraded shower, nice mural on one wall, well landscaped and one hour drive to the ft lauderdale cruise terminal. McDonalds was a short walk for breakfast. I would spend one or two days again if in the area. Nice quiet no frills motel.

LITTLE GEM! There were so many great reviews that we decided to give it a try. So pleased we did. I’ve never seen a cleaner room. The grounds are beautifully kept. Very safe. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Pulling in, my first impression wasn't great but that quickly turned around. The room and bathroom were SPOTLESS. I've stayed at "luxury" hotels that weren't even close to being this clean. Staff was great - very helpful and super friendly. Would absolutely consider staying here again!

Room was very clean and the painting was beautifully done, staff was available when needed. Now because it was a motel we had chairs and table outside. While seating we had greeters 3 kittens and did not leave.

The room was clean, air worked very well. Nice sized fridge, clean microwave (fridge too). Can tell it was remodeled in recent years; hand painted wall and ceiling with Finding Nemo-esque theme was beautiful. Door stopped working but manager quickly came and changed battery. Quick walk to beauty supply and dollar stores a couple blocks away. Would book again if in area.

I didn’t have any grand expectations for an Inn. This place definitely surprised us. The curb appeal isn’t amazing, but the rooms more than make up for that. Our room was spotless, the bed sheets had a cute floral bird print, which was nice compared to the normal drab white you usually get. The pillows were wonderful. The shower was spacious with a great shower head and perfect pressure. There was a fun dolphin painting on the wall. The whole room was very inviting. If you're looking for a quiet, inexpensive stay, this is your place!

Booked online because of reviews. When we arrived at the property, we were initially not impressed, but I convinced my wife to check out the room. It was immaculate! We ended up having a comfortable overnight stay. Would recommend- especially for the price.

My wife and I enjoyed staying here and will again. I gave a three only because the ac was set to on all the time so we could sleep better, but is WiFi controlled to automatic, so fan cut on and off. Also, we had cranked the refrigerator down to cool our drinks, and when we returned, someone had adjusted it back to a warmer setting. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel itself and the grounds were immaculate, It was super quiet but the area around appeared to be a little sketchy since you had to buzz to be let in the hotel to check in and the nearby dive shop was the same.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with earlier check in after disembarcation cruise ship in Palm Beach port. Room has nice marble counters with chairs to drink coffee, nice new flooring. Convinient area for walking to Publix and even you can walk to the port to get on ferry to Peanut Island. Recommend Travel Inn strongly

This is an old style motel. The grounds are shared with a landscape company so there are plants everywhere and edible plants all over the property. I loved the small, quaint, clean property.

Check in lady was nice, but behind plexiglass and wouldn’t allow the 4 of us in the office. Cameras and security chimes everywhere. I even questioned if this was a safe area. Only car in the lot was wreck with flat tire and no plates, other than hers. Thought when we returned after our outing that there would be more cars and not 1 space was filled. We packed up and left for a safer place to stay. Check in person at the hotel we fled to said it was good we got out of there.

Uber driver that took us from airport to location told us not to leave our room. He said he would not accept a pick-up in that area. Said it was an unsafe area. I was traveling with another female. We were told the same by another Uber driver the next day. Be aware going in that this is the situation. We only stayed one night before getting on a Cruise.

The Travel Inn of Riviera Beach is a great value for the area and is very convenient to Phil Foster Park/the Blue Heron Bridge for diving, snorkeling, and swimming. The Marina is also very close and several good restaurants. The rooms looked very recently renovated and are tastefully decorated and furnished. The owners are on premises and are lovely people, as is another employee that checked us in. I'm looking forward to staying at the Travel Inn again on another trip to Riviera Beach!

The first room I had was clean and had (very hard ) double beds and pillows. I felt like I was sleeping on a rock. We just got back from the cruise around 12pm and wanted to relax. My son decides he wanted to take a shower he goes to take a shower and the shower lever is stuck and doesn't go to the Hot water side. The attendant came and looked and said she woulld call the property owners to find out what they want to do. She called back and said that they would be back later on to fix the shower. She did allow my son to go to another room to take a shower, but I paid for a room with a working shower. We went to sleep and woke up around 5pm. I called the office , no change. We went to dinner and other places and got back to the hotel around 7pm. I stopped by the office and asked about the repair. She said that the owners will be back very late. I told her that I need to take a shower, she said that I could go to the other room and take a shower then come back to this room. I told her I paid for a room to have a working shower. I then asked if we could switch rooms. She checked with the owners and they said that we could take the room my son took a shower in, but it was a single We switched rooms and when I went to take a shower the tub was dirty. I called up there and she said the shower was cleaned, its just that tub is old. I also found wall paper torn exposing sheet wall by the tub and shower head. There was a spiderweb in the bathroom , pieces missing furniture.

This property isn’t in the best of neighborhoods, but it was a pleasant surprise. It’s a no-nonsense no-frills place. There’s no pool or ice machine or anything like that, but the people are friendly, helpful and it’s very quiet there. Our room, although dated was very clean and comfortable. It was a quick drive to the beach and all the restaurants and to the port for our cruise. If we needed another overnight stay in that area. We would definitely stay there.

Older hotel but it's been cleaned up

The biggest perk is that it was close to the port for our cruise. Not in the best area of town and we noticed some questionable activity outside of our room. But the owner was nice and helpful in the room was updated and clean. Low water pressure, but the shower was hot.

when I first arrived, the older lady at the front desk asked me for my name which I gave her my info but before that I did try to cancel my reservation and get my refund back, but someone from that location called and said that they can switch the days which I agreed to do and when I got there, the lady the older lady at the front was like make sure that does not happen again with canceling reservations or they would not help me I wanted to say who is she talking to every day situations can occur and sometimes people can’t control it and that’s why i wanted my refund she doesn’t have to worry about me staying the night there again because I will never step foot in that place. but everyone else was nice. The guy that I spoke to he was nice, but because of her if I could give her zero i would she needs to work on her communication skills with others 👎

It's an unassuming place, but quite clean and safe. No frills but pretty much had every we needed. You could tell the owners/managers work very hard to make the motel the new it can be. Of course, the rates can't be beat.

If you need a cheap place to just sleep, this is perfect. Very clean. Not the best looking hotel but clean and comfortable!!

No phone, clock or hand towels in the room. No ice machine or ice bucket. Had to go to the front desk for ice. Was leery of the neighborhood it was located in. All in all the facilities were clean and fairly updated as far as the shower and new hard floors. It was close enough to fast food and gas.

This was hands down the finest 2-star hotel 🏨 I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! Taking a chance on it for a brief overnight stay was one of my best decisions. I was genuinely impressed. The room was immaculate, and I felt entirely safe—no loitering, no noise disturbances, and no trace of trash anywhere. Everything was spotless, both inside and out. The staff exuded professionalism and warmth; they were welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Without a doubt, I would stay here again—no questions asked!

Very unique property. Looked almost brand new outside and inside. The only drawback was the TV. It was small and there was no HD signal. In this day and age that's definitely not acceptable.

Given the high cost of hotels in the area, this looked like a good low-cost option (low-cost being relative!). Property and grounds are very old school, but VERY clean. This is bare bones--didn't even have a towel rack to hang a wet towel on. And, water pressure was very low--impacting shower and toilet flushing. But, water was hot, eventually.

Great place to stay for a family on the go during vacation. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

It's a really nice quant hotel. It's older but well maintained. Nice updated showers, location was close to the port for getting to the Cruise. Note* Uber drivers directions take them to the back of the property, so it was a little headache trying to tell them where to enter. But that has nothing to do with the hotel. I would say here again

Clean affordable great service. Let us store our luggage until room was ready and early check in was great. The service from these ladies is wonderful. Large spacious rooms with large bathrooms newly renovated. Appreciated the large fridge and microwave and king size beds. Stayed here 2 nights before our cruise and after our cruise, each room had a different mural from a local artist. AC worked so great, will be back. Great area close to everything walking distance to some cool spots for snorkeling and near harbor

When I first arrived at the motel I was concerned because it didn't look like a safe place, but the very nice woman at the front desk convinced me to stay, and it turned out great. I was in West Palm to go scuba diving and would definitely stay at the same place again if I return.

Great location for our scuba diving trip to the Blue Heron Bridge. Great check in. Friendly service. Only complaint was we had a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly. Ugh. We tried everything and the staff tried everything. We worked around it the best we could. Also the shower took sr real minute to get hot. I almost gave up on it.

Booked 2 nights. Only stayed 1 night and frint desk staff still charged for 2 nights. Had to file complaints to get a refund of 1 night.

This place was so amazing and clean for the price! The staff were all warm, welcoming and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed! The mural on the wall in my room of a scuba diver exploring the ocean was a welcome addition to the decor. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are needing a comfortable place to stay. It may not have the amenities of a chain hotel, but if you get out and explore, you don’t need it.

Convenient location

First, if you are expecting a grand resort stay, this is not it. We stayed here one night after our flight was delayed several hours. Night staff was very accommodating and understanding. Walked into a spotless room. Checked for bedbugs as I do in every hotel, none to be found, mattresses appeared to be new. Shower was freshly remodeled. Very impressed for a nights stay and extremely affordable. Staff is great at answering any questions. Would happily return!!!

We received a friendly welcome from the gentleman on reception! He was very helpful. The room was rather basic, however, it was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we required!!

Second time staying at travel inn, great place and staff and convenience to local areas and beaches. Will be back soon and thank you.
