Front desk staff was nice. Housekeeping was bad.

Nice clean and comfortable. Even though they are under construction on the first floor, the hotel still looked clean. The huge dumpster in the back. I wished they could park the dumpsters near the back of the lot.

Breakfast was good.

The property is undergoing renovations so there was the expected construction dust and things around. However that night the fire alarm went off and they evacuated the hotel for safety precautions! I had just dozed off, there was a small child who was scared to death! The gentleman at the front desk looked terrified and he was on two separate phones he looked a nervous wreck!

I love staying here when I come to Roanoke Virginia. We came to do the Footlever Half-Marathon. The staff is so great. The lady up front (mid age lady sorry forgot her name) was amazing Her personality was on point.I could not say anything bad horrible about this hotel. I love everything about it when it comes to the Rooms all the way to being convenient to everything. 5 STARS 🌟 FOR THIS HOTEL..

the elevators were dirty (paper/trash) when I arrived around 6:00 pm, and were sill dirty the next morning when I left at 9:30. Otherwise the stay was fine.

The staff person at the front desk was not only inept, she insisted I go out in a snowstorm and put the parking pass on my car. 1AM in the morning, with strange guys working to start a car in the parking lot. I refused to put myself at risk. It took over 10 minutes to even check in.

The front desk clerk was super nice! The hotel was spotless! The pool was great. Highly recommend!

no complaints at all with this Hampton Inn ..Great service …and the reseptionist at the desk was so kind and helpful , unfortunately can’t remember her name ….but Thanksgiving nite she treated me to cookies and chips from the desk while I watched the football game in the lobby , that’s great service ..that was SO KIND OF Her !!

Upon arrival I was told of a $5 parking fee. I travel for work. This reservation was made in August 2025. This fee should have been assessed at the time of payment. The process of payment is done through my employer. I paid the fee out of my own money. The process to be refunded is difficult not worth the hassle. Will not stay at this property again.

Please consider less sugary breakfast options. Yogurt, cereal, waffles, muffins all full of sugar. Thank god they had bacon instead of that horrible sweet chicken sausage. New girl at the desk needs to be able to answer simple guest questions or find an answer from someone else on staff. Know your product and in this case your property. If you can’t help maybe offer an alternative and least appear to be helpful. Otherwise we were comfortable.

Most unsatisfactory issue was breakfast: Approached breakfast area at 6:35 only to find no regular coffee available (only decaf). It took 25 minutes to provide regular coffee!

Main room looked fine bathroom ceiling and walls needed repairs

Bed way too hard. Toilet too low. Couch squishy soft. Front desk understaffed. So no one there for 15 minutes at check in. Ay check out, we just left key, but othersxwho wanted a receipt were just lined up waiting for staff to appear. Hotel needs to hire enough people, it seems.

We had no water for at least a 24 hr time period and were only offered 1, 16 oz bottle of water. We had already paid for our stay which was for a 5 night stay. No toilets, no showers and nothing offered to offset the inconvenience. Then being on the 5th floor the elevators were out of service. Makes it hard when someone with knee issues has to do 5 flights of stairs especially with luggage.

My only issue was the employee on duty wasn’t very helpful in answering my questions about the area - he said he’s not from the area. I think it is super important that employees are knowledgeable about the area so that they can assist customers in any question they may have.

The hotel was very clean. Check-in was a bit weird. Not sure if the desk person was being funny or serious but it was awkward. Morning coffee was full of grounds when I started to drink it. Room was great though once we got checked in.

Staff were great but the property and rooms are just overall dirty and old. Bed and sheets were clean and comfortable but bathroom with a sink that wouldn’t drain and everything just seemed icky

Great place to stay when you need a convenient location to the airport. Lots of dining and shopping options all around. Has an indoor pool which was too warm for my liking (both pool and pool room).

I had a studio suite with a large mounted TV, mini fridge and microwave. It was quiet with very few disturbances.

Not up to par for a Hyatt. No happy hour. Bed uneven. Ice machines seem to nonexistent (thank you to a staff who got me ice from restaurant. It was fine but I expected more from Hyatt.

Room door did not close locked. Had to let door slam or push extra hard on it to engage lock. Quite noisy. Could hear people in next room talking, dog across hall barking quite a bit. Could hear quite a bit. Everything else was good.

We Didn't stay here. There was confusion on the booking through expedia. We wanted to book the Plantation Road Hampton Inn. We were able to cancel this one and stay at Plantation Road like expected.

It was close to the airport. HVAC didn’t cool well.

Our room had stains in the bathroom. The bathroom door was covered in something that looked like vomit or a spilled drink that was not cleaned. The carpet had a wet spot. And the bed had a white powder on the lower cover. When asked about cleaning those areas the front desk woman gave us the cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. I had booked to suites at the same time on the same invoice. But yet one room was on the second floor and one on the forth. I was told that they were too booked and couldn’t get us on the same floors let alone adjoining rooms like I was supposed to get.

What I did not like is I asked for a handicap room and was given a room with a handicap marker. The bathroom had a tub that is NOT up to ada standards!!!

Shower curtain was too short which allowed water to escape onto floor.

The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. My room was larger than expected and very comfortable.

The one night stay was peacful and welcoming. I like they offer a cookie during your check-in period. It was clean and very spacious. I didnt like that the beds were alil small. Mini queens bed(demo beds).

The gentleman at the front desk was delightful - efficient and polite. Cookies at check in and unlimited coffee are great!

Front desk took about 5 minutes to walk out from the back then hardly spoke / like I was bothering him - I’m a Honors Gold member snd had already checked in online, just needed a key. Acted like he couldn’t find my name - finally said bluntly “spell it” / then just wrote the number on the key holder and gave it to me / not a word - no water was offered for being a member…nothing. Won’t cime back next trip through

Do not stay at this hotel! My stay was horrible as I was checked into not one but two dirty rooms and when brought to the general managers attention, he was unbothered and didn’t care!!

Hampton’s are my favorite Hotel. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, hospitality and price is reasonable.

Great service

Even though I received multiple confirmation from Expedia, the hotel showed no reservation on my date. I had a confirmation number but it showed a different date on the hotel side. Hotel refused to accept my reservation. I needed to wait until the following morning at 10 am. I needed a hotel that night as I was flying out.

Theres a huge mall and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the room was clean. Overall, we will most likely stay here again when we pass this way.
