The Knicks won and I hate them. Besides that, the hotel was nice.

Average hotel standards; the "lodge" room is separate, one needs to go outdoors to access the main building (breakfast, lobby, exercise room, etc.).

Nice property, conveniently located, clean and comfortable rooms. AC is loud. Breakfast is just ok (mostly highly processed foods).

The breakfast was very nice. Down the road from the hotel was a beautiful Wegmans. I moved from a nicer hotel in Victor to be closer to the city, so I chose to come to the Country Inn & Suites. The hotel had a good review rating, so I was expecting a much nicer hotel. The location was on a busy road, and the outside of the hotel was not attractive at all. The room was much smaller than what I had left behind at the previous hotel. The bed was hard. The nice thing was there was a variety of pillows to choose from. The wall in the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom was tiny. The first night, the air conditioner made noise all night long. The next morning, I spoke with someone at the front desk, and asked if there was another room where the air conditioner didn't make noise. She said she would have someone come to look at the air conditioner. I had turned it off, and when I came back later that evening, it was obvious no one had come, as it was not on. I slept with it off. That night, the refrigerator hummed and made too much noise.

The breakfast was good

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of May to see my son perform in a local theater. The property and rooms were immaculate, beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and staff was so helpful. We had friends that were joining in four other rooms and they accommodated us all together on the same floor. Breakfast was plentiful and there were things like fruit, muffins, cereal, juices, coffee and tea that were accessible all day long. I give this property 5 stars!

We only stayed one night but check in was easy, check out was contactless, there were ev chargers readily available. Property was well maintained and clean, rooms were clean, bathrooms clean and well stocked. Juice, coffee, milk, water and tea and cereal are available in the lobby 24 hours. Complimentary breakfast was simple but filling. Our stay they provided eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, toast, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, breakfast bars and muffins. Breakfast area was clean and tidy. My only compliant is the beds. There are very very firm, I own a firm mattress but this was hard. I didnt get a great night of sleep but I think the pros outweighed that one con so overall a good stay, I would stay again and perhaps another bed in another room would be a better fit.

Easy check in and check out process. Room clean on arrival. Air conditioning worked well and fast. Didn't get up early enough for breakfast so I can't comment on that. Would stay here again

The breakfast including the turkey sausage was very much appreciated since we avoid pork products, and having drinks and snacks available even after breakfast was very nice. Thanks. The carpeting going upstairs at The Lodge can use an upgrade.

This two floor wood structure hotel is extremely hard to sleep in because you hear everything from every adjoining suite. Rooms were fine, and despite having low expectations for our continental breakfast it did not meet those expectations.

Cleanliness was good and the pillows were comfortable but that’s about the only positive I can share. We arrived late and were placed in a room in a separate building behind the main hotel. Maybe I missed it in the description somewhere, but I didn’t know this was an option. This second building was rundown. I would not have felt safe if it had been just myself and my daughter. There was a parking lot outside the window with no barrier at all; a car could have easily driven right through on to the bed. Bathroom was very dark. Breakfast area was small and the coffee was not good. I have never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before but it was the location we needed. I hope to never have to stay here again.

The breakfast was good. We found a silverfish in our bathroom. We took our luggage with us when we left the room for breakfast. We anticipated returning to the room prior to departing. When we went back to the room, cleaning staff was already inside, and it did not feel welcoming. They should wait until we are checked out before entering the room to clean it.

For the price, the hotel was reasonable. Staff nice. Room clean. Only complain I have is breakfast. Too much water in the eggs. Felt like more water than eggs. Potatoe and turkey sausage dry. They have other non hot breakfast foods, which are fine, but the hot stuff is blahhhhh. For the price I paid for the room, I can’t complain. If they improve on the breakfast I would give it all 5 stars.

I thought it was nice that they gave courtesy snacks like yogurt, fruit, cereal but the breakfast was not great. They had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, but everything was cold.

Reach the 2nd floor and for some people with a disability , this was a game changer. Our daughter was also staying in her own room on main floor and we had a 1 bedroom suite, we luckily could switch to be on main floor but we paid more for the suite than she did for single room, breakfast was sufficient, and had choices and coffee was good Probably would not stay again if we could not get a main floor room

The hotel shower had barely any water pressure and did not get very hot.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a busy retail area which is good if you need a store for anything. The free 24 hour snacks and included breakfast make this hotel a great value. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in the Rochester area again.

Strongly recommend Basha Mediterranean Restaurant short walk away for kabobs, pitas, salads, etc. Convenient to Whole Foods (across the street), Wegmans and Trader Joes (both about a mile away) for food.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located to lots of shopping/groceries and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, ac/ heat worked well. Excellent stay overall.

The noise coming from the ceiling above the bed was unbelievably loud. Whenever the floor in the room above was walked on, it made creaking noises with each step. They weren't jumping or walking heavy, but every step. It lasted until 1AM then resumed at 6:30AM.

The hotel should give us a refund. We checked out next day. Were booked for 4 nights. Poor management

Room was spotless!!! It felt like a home. I like couches in the front and the bed in the back. I’ve never had a hotel that did housekeeping included!!! I really liked that! Breakfast was okay but I can’t complain too much.

There was no strike plate or hardware in the frame, door locked though I don’t know how. The room keys worked half the time. We got in later, and had errands to attend to. We didn’t have time to wait for another room. Some of the pillows smelled unwashed. The sink in bathroom had grime around the drain.

A very friendly and homey hotel. The carpet in the hall were a little worn, but everything was clean! The beds were so comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location is ideal close to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and the highway. The price per night was incredibly reasonable. The breakfast was delicious and kept fresh. Some food was kept out throughout the day and coffee and tea were always available. I highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely the a/c function was great. When needed it switched to heat. Sofa sleeper was not the most comfortable for sleeping and being a suite was a bit surprised that there was not cooking set up other than microwave. Overall we had a great stay of 5 days. Location was fantastic for us. Staff was very accommodating in making sure our rooms were near each other. I would stay there again.

Staff were great but our room (302 in the lodge) did not have working AC and the shower leaked a lot. Carpet outside the bathroom was wet when we arrived (assuming from previous people in the room).

The temperature in the room was easily adjusted to our comfort. The breakfast was served early, as we needed, complimentary tea and coffee made a big difference!

The place was great as in the facility, staff and location. The only draw back was the subpar breakfast. Poorly scrambled eggs, cold potatoes and tasteless sausage. Stayed on a Wednesday and a Monday both days same tired breakfast. The good part about that was it was reasonable enough to go out tro breakfast.

I was unhappy with the noisy room and I specifically asked for a quiet room. Spent more money for each night, then it was worth. Did using Expedia for this room help? Nope, lower rate going directly through the hotel. Not happy.

Everything is great!

Toilet didn’t flush unless you held down handle. Window frame was dirty and rotted out. They used a piece of plastic to cover it up which flew off when we opened the curtains.

Was placed in the additional lodging structure. No elevator. Very much a motel atmosphere there with a funky smell to match. Breakfast lobby was good and there was a nice little firepit / smokers area opposite the main entrance. Location is basicslly a strip mall.

Feels more like a 2 star motel, lacking in quality compared to other properties by the brand. Cleanliness was satisfactory rooms could use refurbishing. Staff was friendly. At over $250 a night I’d expect a bit more.

Beds were very comfortable and breakfast standard but good. Great coffee! Hotel staff very nice and friendly. Bathroom was tiny though. Smallest i have ever found in a hotel. There is an unusual system for having your room serviced. Supposed to hang a card on the door if you want housekeeping with the hours you want it. I must have done it wrong 2 days in a row because every eveni g when we returned to the room the sign was gone but housekeeping never serviced the room.

Not as expected

There was great shopping in the area. Restaurants, Whole Foods, and other stores were walking distance. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room, though, had a damp towel/carpet smell. We wish the property had a pool, but the 24 hour complimentary refreshments and breakfast were greatly appreciated 😊

Appreciated a one bedroom suite with a door between the bedroom and the living room sofabed.

The only thing that needs to be taken care of, is the mag locks on Bldg 2. They were not working so the bldg was never locked.

Very clean - good value!

The night manager was a huge help, I had accidentally made 2 reservations not knowing my first one proceeded and he was such a help in getting it resolved and making sure I wasn’t charged twice. The hotel was great and in a great area with tons of restaurants and activities in surrounding area. Will be my new go to when in the area.

The employees here work very hard to make everything clean, comfortable and welcoming!

Some very Rude and unprofessional Staff called me from the Hotel this afternoon claiming that I paid for my stay using someone else’s credit card while I paid for it through Expedia and Expedia has all my payment information and details because I have had a very long relationship with Expedia. She also gave my personal information out to a thirparty claiming to be the owner of the credit card. Why would someone call me unprofessionally and accusing me of being a fraudster using other people’s credit card? I feel abused and insulted. I will be speaking to my lawyer about this.

We've stay here many times before and its our go to in Rochester to stay as we travel to the 1000 islands from Michigan. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Busy area, lots of traffic

Was very skeptical about staying here, but it was the only one close by the Bills training camp. Also, it was a lot cheaper. Very pleased with the room and breakfast The whole thing was great.

The room was clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone, so I did not like being in the second building, where there was no lobby or staff. It made me feel less safe. Also, I was on the first floor, with a window looking onto the parking lot, so I did not feel comfortable opening my blinds. So I did not like the lack of natural sunlight in the room. But the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. And check-in and check-out was easy.

The property was very nice. We would definitely stay there again. The outdoor fire pit and chairs was a really nice touch. Breakfast was good. Gym is basic. We stayed in room 105 and the door could really use some WD40.

Rooms were clean and even had a walk in shower! Breakfast was delicious with many choices and even had home baked cookies available later. It was safe and quiet and we enjoyed the visit very much!

Great place to stay when in Rochester. Great location in the suburbs of Pittsford, bordering Brighton. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and the flagship Wegmans grocery store all within close walking distance.

While overall this is a good, reasonably priced hotel, there were some issues ranging from a door that was incredibly hard to open to a remodeled bath that is incredibly slippery and a fall hazard.

They were cleaning carpets everywhere and the floors were wet for 24 hours,

The property and hotel were very clean. I probably wouldn’t stay here again because there was no pool and I was under the impression there was though that’s not the property’s mistake. I had filtered for properties with a pool for my kids and this hotel came up in the Orbitz search.

The location is good, other than trying to take a left out of the property during rush hour. I had to adjust our reservation to add a day and the staff at the front desk were super helpful. Great free breakfast buffet. Our room wasn’t in the main building where we checked in and it was up a flight of stairs with no elevator. Staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Excellent service, clean and well-appointed accommodations. A/C unit wasn't working as well as it should and the door hinge was terribly squeaky, but overall, it was a good experience and I will stay there again in the future.

Everyone was very nice. While we were there, there was a heavy rain which flooded the room (as well as the lobby). The staff did as well as they could to shopvac the water. They offered us a different room, but because we were in an accessible room, we declined to move.

9:30 PM that evening, I was denied my partial refund and offered another room! That was my original request shortly after check in when they claimed the hotel was full! By that time of the night, my daughter was asleep therefore we did not move. It was an unpleasant sleepiness, hot night! The next morning at 8:55am a maid walked into our room without knocking and the ‘do not disturb’ sign was on the door. I reported that incident to the front desk upon check out and the clerk told me she had me “checked out” already, that’s why the maid entered my room. I was obviously not checked out as I was standing right there requesting to check out! I was not even offered an apology. Terrible customer service; not even a simple , “ I’m sorry for the misunderstanding”.

Property was in a good location. Room was nice, however we did have a an issue with the bedding being unclean. It was resolved quickly by the front counter staff so no other issues. Great to have beverages and snacks available at all times! Really appreciated that! Overall, even with the bedding issue, we enjoyed our stay!

Overnight Staff were allowed to smoke near the air intake for the room I stayed in. Because I’m Very allergic to cigarette smoke I was nauseous most of the night.

This hotel was fine for two nights with my kids. Breakfast was one of the better things about this hotel. Rooms smell musty and have the bare minimum essentials needed. Front desk people are not friendly and no one working there smiles. They just look unhappy and annoyed. No elevator in the Lodge which was fine for us but could be an issue for others. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The property was definitely not a 3 -star hotel. It should be a 2-star. The hotel room was smelly and dirty. The window would not lock. Water had come in from the window. There were dust in the room. It seemed like it was not cleaned properly. Overall, this was one of the worst expriences in a hotel. At checkout when I asked for a printed receipt, it showed a balance of $170 for the room even though I paid in advance through Expedia. Will not stay there and will try to avoid Country Inn hotels in the future.

Stayed on the way back to NYC from Canada. Very good hotel, good breakfast, clean rooms, several restaurants and whole food store nearby.

Clean, with comfy Air conditioning was a bit loud but it kept the room at a perfect temperature and a good breakfast. Bathroom is a bit small but the shower is great! Friendly staff. Good breakfast Parking always available. Located on a busy street but the upside is it is close to shopping and restaurants.

Stayed for one night. The room was in perfect condition. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Everything was top notch and easy check in and out.

Beds were filthy covered in urine or something else along with hair. Overall not clean. However, front desk staff were accommodating and gave us 3 different rooms to try, but all were filthy, we were able to get a refund and change hotels.

The only thing was their complimentary breakfast...not good. Other than that everything and everyone was perfect.

The hotel overcharged me and refused to refund me.

A convenient and good place to stay if you are passing through Rochester NY—I stayed 3 nights for a business trip. Hot breakfast (and 24 hr snacks) are a great perk! It’s close to many large grocery stores (Wegmans, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods), a shopping plaza, and many restaurants. Easy access to the highway. Highly recommend.
