Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chili/Rochester Airport

This was an accessible room. The shower curtain was cloth and most of the bathroom was wet after the shower. The shower chair was so high not sure how anyone would use it. The shower pressure was low. The shower tile close to the door and floor needed some cleaning or new grout. There wasn’t any counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. The room would sleep 4 but only 2 bath towels in the bathroom. The booking was for 3, we had to request more towels.

It was easy to find and relatively quick to get to I was charged twice. It been almost a week and 4 phone calls later and it is still not resolved

It was a great location. Love the area. Staff were great! Clean and comfortable.

Quiet suburban location. Easy parking. It needs a refresh! The curtains were falling off the window. Very noisy guests who were partying with loud music and alcohol and chairs set up in the parking lot five feet from our window. At 10:45 pm we finally asked the staff to intervene and they moved the part elsewhere.

The staff was very nice and appeared to be very professional. I am currently waiting for a response from the property management team about my stay. Due to a situation with my reservations customer service at Book- It is waiting to hear from management. So as it stands correspondence may not be satisfactory.

Was told no problem I requested to pay for the rooms in full so we wouldn’t lose them I was told no need we had until 2am Got to hotel at 9:45. They didn’t have our rooms only ones with 1 bed in each After a long back and forth. They found rooms for us. Only one when we opened one of the doors people were sleeping in the beds We were given another room. At 2am someone opened the door to my elderly family members room, the front desk assigned it to them. Unreliable and unsafe for $300 twice the rate because it’s graduation time

Very nice property and clean - friendly staff - like that there is a walkable plaza with coffee shop etc. Had a nice stay...forget on the first floor you can hear the doors slam a bit and folks walking up above you a bit loud but that's not really your fault...our bathroom sink had a stopper issue and ran out of tissues (had our own and of course TP) but other than that all good

For a short trip,this place is very good. As I said, it is a good place, so far everything is fine.

The staff was friendly. They put us in a regular room when i booked a suite. There were lights out. We got dog hair on our belongings from not being vacuumed well and ants in the bathroom.

The pros were location near the airport, price, cleanliness. The room was very small and very dark, and we are still laughing about the four small pillows instead of 2 full size pillows on the bed.

Jacuzzi was perfect, room was clean but the door didn’t lock very well unless you slammed it. overall great room, spacious and the staff were so kind.

Mike was very kind and congenial when I checked in. He was hard at work. When I checked out the woman at the desk was helpful, pleasant and both were friendly and good role models for the hospitality of the hotel. Sheldon

Breakfast was great ...Adam is the best he accommodated me very well...mix up on my check in date ..but made it work and i stayed an extra night when planing on staying for one

They were experiencing mechanical issues when I arrived, and said they had no hot water thru out the hotel. They said they would cancel my reservation due to this, which they didn't and I have been charged. I have had a hell of a time contacting customer service, and keep getting hung up on before I even get a chance to speak with anyone. I need to be refunded asap!

We had a great stay. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. There was also plenty of parking available, which made things easy. Breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I booked a deluxe suite with Jacuzzi and was told Hotels com cannot guarantee which room youget when you book through a third party. Also electric issues

Room had an odd odor and the outlet located on the wall in the middle of the two beds did not work, so we could not conveniently charge our phones.

Not only did we move the comforter to find fecal matter on the bed sheets, they double charged my card. I was charged nearly $500 for 2 nights here. I literally never write negative reviews, but for the love of all things holy... go to another hotel.

The room itself was okay but I was robbed outside. Someone broke into my van and stole my brand new still in the package Bluetooth headphones n probably other stuff too i cant remember

Heater was broken. Room was cold. Carpet was nasty. Front desk check in person was difficult and off putting at best. The garbage outside looked like Vesivias: ready to explode they were so full and dirty. Where do I get my refund?

The staff members was very courtesy. One star off because our safe had a low battery and needed replacement and they had no batteries. Not a deal breaker as it wasn't a big issue for us but could have been for someone. These things need to be checked regularly and replacement batteries available.

We picked this hotel because of reviews and location. I appreciated it was clean. Bed was firm but comfortable. It was perfect for our needs. I appreciated they had breakfast as well!

Staff was helpful. The room had a plumbing issue with shower. Looked like the flooring tile had been removed & not replaced correctly leaving it sunk in .

The fact that the breakfast was really good we were able to go to nearby restaurants to eat in the evenings

I was very impressed over all, even the lobby bathroom was supplied with essentials such as pads, hand lotion and extra tissue and toilet paper stocked on display. The room was excellent with the toiletries also supplied mounted to the wall in shower and at the sink. I slept so good on that bed if I had room to take it home I would have bought it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great hotel for the price

The property was conveniently located minutes from relatives residence as well as college for move-in day. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

They did not reserve the room that we asked for and one of us had to sleep on a couch. The couch had an unusable pullout mattress. It had horrible stains on it and mice droppings. The overall look of the place was an older look.

Just didn’t like the cleanliness of the room, the hotel itself had a smell once I walked into the front door not of cleanliness just a smell. Overall the hotel was OK wouldn’t stay there again unless there’s nothing else in the area like it was this time.

Did not have reserved room available. We had booked two queen beds, received a handicapped single that the attendant thought was a suite he was upgrading to.

The only problem was we were here for 5 days our room was not cleaned until the 3rd day we had to ask housekeeping and the front desk to for clean towels and remove the trash. We finally got our room cleaned on the 4th day. For a 5 night stay our room should have been cleaned and stocked at least 2 days.

The staff was really nice. Room was clean and I would stay again. I went as a solo traveler and the room was a perfect size for me. Had a microwave and mini fridge and a big screen tv. Next time I'm in Rochester New York i will be staying here again.

The staff were great and really helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom vent fan didn’t work and the shower was very hot and couldn’t be adjusted. This left the room very muggy on 2 hot summer days.

We travel back-and-forth from Michigan to New York, this was our first stay, but won’t be our last.. very clean and very nice atmosphere..❤️

Room smells to cigarettes and the restroom smells of urine.

Beds were comfortable enough, bathroom smelled musty but had good water pressure. I left my ID at the desk checking in, and although I was on the property overnight the person at the desk didn't bother to give it back to me. I noticed the next day, luckily wasn't too far away, and this really nice woman at the desk looked all over and found it for me. I wish she had been there the night before!

They should have replenished thr towels. The shower was iffy; when the water ran it sounded like a jet engine taking off.

The hotel was busy and there were people up late roaming the halls. I didn't get very much sleep. The bed was comfortable. The sheets/covers were a bit dirty but I think it might have come from the carpet and my socks more than the sheets being dirty. There is a nice little park across the road that is easy to walk to and a gas station to grab a drink or snack. They do offer a breakfast but I did not partake in it and can't say how good it was or not.

Overall it was okay. HOWEVER, Room 224 had the worst possible shower head ever! It needs to be replaced! ALSO, the water control only had hot water, no cold water control. Terrible on a hot day when u needed to cool down. This room should not be rented until those items are fixed! I should've requested another room for the 2nd night.

We stayed for a quick overnight on our travels and this hotel had everything we needed. Friendly staff, confy beds, pretty good coffee, breakfast was waffles and pastries, but they did have cheese omelets and boiled eggs in the fridge. The room was spacious and my kids loved the reading seat in the window seal.

Our main complaint was the smell. The room smelled of stale smoke (even though it was clearly a non-smoking room), and strong air freshener/cleaner. The window was open upon our arrival, but we needed to close it because people started smoking outside (we were on the first floor). Another issue was the noise (someone’s loud snoring and people talking carried into our room around 3 am and continued all morning). Not exactly the hotel’s fault though. The staff, and other guests, were all incredibly nice and maybe we should have asked for a room change. However, the hallway also smelled strongly of air freshener (and marijuana at times) so we didn’t think it would make a difference. Overall not a horrible stay, but if you’re sensitive to smells this may not be a place for you.

It's a hotel that I feel punches above its weight for a 2 star, if you want a hotel with no frills but just a great room to rest in, and a vantage to explore the area, (rental, uber, or your own car required, then this place is really good.

We went to the Strong Museum, this location is good of 10 min driving, and price is much better.

Two night stay with good value for the room. WIFI signal was strong, breakfast was a typical offering. Overall we would stay again if in the area.

Loved that there were lots of good pillows on the beds. Could have used regular coffee pods in the room - only had decaf in our room. We arrived in the dark so it was a little hard to find, not terribly hard...there's no sign by the road. We didn't eat in the area but there appears to be several options for casual dining.

We stayed for three nights. It's very quiet and was conveniently located to all the things we needed.

Enjoyed the quietness there. Very much needed after working 16 hours. Front desk was great at giving me a room to fit for my stay.

We stayed at this place before & the room was not very good. We decided to try it again, had a different room & it was much better than the prior room we stayed in. The only issue we would say we didn't like was the smell of the room upon entering it. Could possibly be from the air/heating unit that needs to have the filters changed!

It was conveniently located near family members, and the rate was good.

Certainly bot whatbyou would expect from a microtel, idk if it is just because I havent stayed at one in a while or what but this was a seemingly new property, well managed and well taken care of. Was highly impressed!

My wife and have been there a number of times. We will continue to come and stay, my only problem was the breakfast was cheap and could have been better, like real fruit yogurts and washed fruit.

We were there for a visit to RIT and it was within a good driving distance to it.

Sheets were scratchy to the point where I had a hard time sleeping. Room was tiny, dated, and smelled musty. Check in was a hassle, took 30+ minutes due to a system issue they had. Breakfast was a few stale pastries. Got out as quickly as I could.

It was a pleasant one-night stay. There was no hand sanitizer near the food station. Several guests were coughing near the food and touching the waffle, coffee, and other machines. There was a staff member, who apparently had a cold and waited on guests without a mask.

The staff uses either air freshener or essential oils in huge quantities. I have a sensitivity/allergy that at best makes me cough and at worst has sent me to the ER with an asthma attack that continued even after my inhaler and additional allergy meds. When asked, the desk clerk assured me it was only in the lobby. This is a lie. It is also used in the hallways. Luckily, this particular scent was one that did not trigger more than a cough and was limited enough in the room that I did not need to find a new hotel. However, we were not able to partake in the provided breakfast and I had to find and wear a KN95 mask in order to stand in the lobby long enough to check out. When we checked in at almost 10pm, we arrived in our room to find the lights on, the TV playing some scary movie and the window open. Very creepy. So much so that I called the desk to confirm that we were in the right room and that it wasn't double booked. It was not very reassuring to see the lock had been previously broken open and repaired. Other things: no hand towel or wash cloth, over scented toiletries, hand soap mounted on the wall at eye level, trash can too small for anything more than tissues, and the staff are emptying and cleaning bathroom garbage cans with no liners.

A solid midrange hotel that is in a good location if you're like me- I was not only visiting Rochester, but also Letchworth State Park and Niagara Falls (highly recommend both!). Quiet, clean, a huge TV and fridge/microwave, so you're comfortable after exploring. Very friendly staff.

The lighting around the building exterior is very poor. The hotel can be difficult to find as the hotel name sign isn’t on after dark.

Was hard to get to sleep. Could hear people on the floor above stomping back and forth for hrs. In room phone did not work to reach front desk. There was a hold on my card for twice as much as the tital bill. This was not comunicated to me when I checked in.

Rooms were clean. The hotel sits back off of the road behind a bank and there is little to no signage on the main road, so we passed it.
