The hotel is highly praised for its unique industrial design, cleanliness, and spacious rooms. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful. However, guests frequently express dissatisfaction with the parking situation and some have issues with housekeeping.

The hotel is nice. Room was comfortable and spacious. Clean and quiet but there is no free parking and no free WiFi in the room.

There was a whole in the wall. I was not given my honors gift at check in. Group of kids ran the halls most of the night yelling.

Great stay in a historic updated property. Rooms were gorgeous with an industrial feel and lots of great windows.
- 4/5
Very unique property, loved the history. Rooms were very beautiful and quiet. Only drawback parking was a fee and bar hours were not as advertised. We got in late and wanted a drink but they closed early. Other than that would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Shelf missing in shower, had to put personal shower supplies on the floor No sheer curtains behind drapes, one of drape pulley broken. Room very dark Room 613 should not have been rented at full price. Upgrades is needed

Check in was quick and easy. Room was very spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Only negative is the doors are loud when they close. Overall nice place to stay.

Excellent staff at front desk, at the bars, and at the breakfast kitchen. Beautiful property and spacious room. 5 star review but parking is the only challenge.

The room was spacious. The overall esthetic of the hotel was nice. My room was clearly not cleaned when I arrived. There was a food wrapper on a chair, and a piece of a bathing suit in one of the drawers. The carpet was very dirty, and there were greasy spots on one table and sticky drink rings on the nightstand. I notified the front desk, and they sent someone up to clean the room. When I came back, they had emptied the garbage, made the beds and gotten fresh towels, but the surfaces and floors were still dirty. The swimsuit from another guest was still there, and a piece of my daughter's swim suit was now missing. They must have picked it up with the towels. I'm still waiting to hear if they've found it.

Hotel and breakfast staff were great. Always helpful and nice. Rooftop restaurant could have been better. The website didnt say anything about reservations but staff pushed it hard and didnt want to sit us until we stated we only wanted drinks. Lower restaurant was a little slow too. Gym was closed the whole time I was there which looked like it would have been great to use if they didnt have it closed. The wall paper was peeling in the hall way. The room was big spacious and clean.

The man that helped us at the restaurant was wonderful. He helped us with the simulator and helped us and other groups with food orders. I wish I caught his name. Room wasn’t the room I booked, kissing a whole bed and all three of my boys had to sleep on one foldout bed instead of having another queen and pullout couch. Also, our toilet barely flushed, and lamps were broken, as well as the blinds, toilet paper holder, sliding barn doors, and the refrigerator.

I really love the made to order breakfasts in the morning! The only thing I did not like is the necessity to move your car every hour after 9 AM if you are staying for more than one night… I don’t think guests should have to pay to park their cars during the day

Great hotel, very clean, the tv was customized with my name which was a sweet little touch. Just wish they had better parking.
- 3/5
Beautiful suite—hotel had a water break —we lost air conditioner last night. Staff gave us fan to help. Tv needs more live channels
- 5/5
The hotel is nice but the area is all boarded up. They call it a river district but it’s horrible. We did find a good brewery with excellent food. That was it. The room was freezing nobody’s heaters worked. They brought a space heater up for us which I felt was a fire hazard. I would not stay here again when I explained the problem, they weren’t nice about it.

This our “GoTo” lodging when in Rockford. Reliable quality all the way around. Quiet, comfortable rooms and excellent service.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fabulous, made to irder staff were all pleasant, courteous and wondeful personalities. Best breakfast!!!

Breakfest was good. Coffee not to much but it did the trick. Hotel was nice and clean.
- 5/5
This was a very nice hotel, lots of amenities on sight. We would definitely come back!
- 5/5
The breakfast here is amazing, the have a egg bar. You pick the toppings and cheese if you want a omelte or scrambled. The pool is small but theirs a hot tube next to it. I highly loved this place
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and checking in was smooth. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
- 5/5
Beautiful new hotel on the River/ one of the nicest places I’ve stayed.
- 3/5
I wasnt happy that i booked a king size bed room back in jan 2026 and for my stay in april 2026 they switched me to 2 full size beds. The roof top restaurant was awful and over priced.
- 5/5
Very lovely and very comfortable
- 5/5
Literally the best hotel I have stayed at in years. Architecture was unique, high tech, clean, staff was great, pool was beautiful, breakfast was bomb and the underground culinary was a good experience also. Thank ypu!
- 5/5
This was an amazing hotel in Rockford that I would highly suggest anybody stay at. Everything was amazing. Very updated Look in the old warehouse. Look turned into a hotel was really neat. Beautiful shower, soft comfortable bed and a top notch breakfast. Would 100% stay again.
- 5/5
Roof top bar had a nice view. Food options limited . Filet medalions were not great quality. Service was just ok. Would be good to have late night food options as most people were coming from show or hockey game
- 5/5
Embassy Suites does not have a designated parking lot. There are free lots but I was attending the Bob Dylan concert (sold out) and the Rockford IceHogs hockey team were playing. I prepaid at the Concourse Parking Garage which is .4 miles away from the Embassy. The venue hosting the concert said finding parking would be competitive. I was glad to get parking close and my stay was wonderful at the Embassy Suites. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, clean & the staff was very nice. They have two restaurants. There are very few place to eat between the theatre and hotel. They have a breakfast which is included and the dining area is very clean and you are not cramped in sitting next to everyone-lots of space. This was a very good experience and went well with the excellent concert.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The set up for continental breakfast executed very well.
- 5/5
Wish there were smaller portions and a few more options at restaurants.
- 1/5
Horrible customer service. Housekeeping low rate for an expensive property. Engineering left a mess in our room and left the door unlocked. And with all this overplay from the General Manager and no phone call from the 2nd in command. This hotel has no appreciation or connection to pleasing guests.
- 5/5
Lovely property, wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel is amazing! This was our serving time staying here and we can’t wait to stay again!
- 5/5
Very very nice property. Staff was super friendly, rooms were spotless. Oh the coffee! The breakfast was out of this world good. Would stay again 100%
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! We stay in many hotels with traveling for volleyball and I was very pleased. The exposed brick in the room and the dining downstairs it was just perfect. Will be booking here again next time for sure. The only downfall we came across was the $300 incidental fee which was more than our one-night stay. I hope they can look at that and see that is very high compared to many other hotels and hopefully change that in the future. Overall, amazing hotel great service and loved the Bolognese pizza at the Culinary Underground downstairs. Oh the happy hour was served at this Culinary Underground free drinks, snacks included guac and chips, pasta salad, cannoli, veggies and dip. Just great!
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel, very clean and modern rooms, wasn’t crazy about the breakfast because it’s advertise as a buffet, but it’s not. overall I will go back again
- 5/5
Someone was smoking in the hallway after hours and the smell triggered my asthma! Otherwise it was excellent.
- 5/5
The hotel is an excellently refinished and updated former wharehouse with great staff, awesome/spacious rooms, and great amenities close to and within walking distance to multiple downtown venues! An extraordinary property!
- 5/5

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast included and walking distances to good breweries and BMO event center.
- 5/5
Was a great property, and it was right in the middle of downtown
- 5/5
All of the above

On valatines day. I got to the hotel and they did not have my reservation, I spent over 1 hour on the phone with expedia, with mo resuts, they ended up getting me a room at a very ugly place. Im considering making my next reservation with travelacity, after more than 20 years and a platinum membership. Expedia ruined my valentines day and 40th anniversary.
- 4/5
The room was great. Very clean. Staff throughout the hotel were great welcoming and helpful! The breakfast set up AMAZING that the staff serve the buffet style
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great customer service from all the staff from the front desk and the restaurant. The room was spacious and very clean.
- 5/5
It is a very unique hotel. Lots of character. Quite. Large rooms. Restaurants. Close to the Coronado. Nice place to stay
- 4/5
Nice room and they have a game room which the kids loved and enjoyed so much. 4 stars only because of limited car space parking but all in all, good hotel.

My Wife and I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Rockford, Illinois. Overall, we found the hotel to be nice, and the room itself was comfortable; however, we did experience several issues during our stay. There was a burned-out light in the room, the curtains would not close completely, and the television was not working. We contacted the front desk, and a maintenance staff member came to our room to try to fix the TV. Unfortunately, he was unable to repair it and advised us that we could either switch rooms or possibly receive a discount on our stay. After he left, we did not receive any follow-up communication. The next morning, during checkout, we explained the situation to the front desk associate. We were told that nothing could be done because we had reserved the room through a third-party service. We were disappointed by this experience, as we have always associated Embassy Suites with quality service. We are hoping there may be something that can be done to address this situation. If so, we would be happy to consider staying with you again in the future. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Richard Wilburn
- 5/5
Excellent suite, good breakfast, charming industrial features. Great location and overall a great hotel.
- 5/5
Great room it was very cold in the middle of winter but they made this stay inviting and our visit was great!
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was excellent.
- 3/5
The room is ok I don't like it the walls , concrete Walls tall ceilings
- 1/5
While we were out during the day, the housekeeping threw away my wallet and other personal belongings, which were in a bag she mistakenly taken for trash. The front desk and staff were very helpful to help me locate and retrieve my belongs, however, it made the stay very traumatic and stressful. The housekeeping should be trained better to not remove items from the rooms. I was lucky I acted quickly and had I waited a bit longer to discover the bag is gone, it would have been placed in a garbage compactor and incinerator.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and restaurant and rooftop bar were fantastic!
- 5/5
New, clean gives loft vibes I loved it
- 5/5
The room was extremely comfortable and so quiet! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Fresh and delicious, plenty of options, will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
The room clean spacious and nicely decorated. Comfortable I love mini apartment feel. The bathroom very clean but i did not see any outlets near the sink for the hair dryer. I cant wait to return. Please have pool ready that was a big reason I booked this hotel plus I am obsessed with the Embassy.
- 5/5
Beautiful view, interesting architecture and interior design.
- 3/5
When reservations were made I expressed it was for a child’s bday party. I was told great they had a pool and an arcade. Upon check in I was informed 30 min prior the pool was shut down for scheduled maintenance for a week, the arcade wasn’t much of an arcade but a pool table and air hockey. Absolutely nothing for children to do. The outlets in the room didn’t work, the fridge leaked water all over the floor and the blinds wouldn’t close. Over all very disappointed
- 5/5
The hotel itself is so cool but the game simulator was a bit of a rip off at $40/hr. The supplies/balls were dirty and it was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned up after the last people used it. The room was really good looking but half of the lights didn’t work and the strings to pull the curtains were broken so you had to pull the curtains manually.
- 5/5
Very courteous staff, clean rooms and common areas
- 4/5
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The Hotel is beautiful, check in was wonderful and the front desk clerk was great. The room was very clean and amazing, but it was very dark entering the room we couldn’t figure out where the lights were. We would’ve also liked to have a trash can in the kitchen. The evening reception was also amazing. We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
This hotel is nice and clean definitely would recommend anyone in Rockford to stay here! Rooms 10/10 . The staff was very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping comes quick. And the breakfast 10/10.
- 4/5
Overall very impressed. Check in went well. They had a reception with free drinks and snacks, a good restaurant for dinner. Great location. Was some hairs in the bathroom that was kind of gross, very small bathtub. Very large room, comfortable beds. Noticed a weird smell in the hallway and game room. Games didnt work.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel
- 5/5
Everything was very pleasant
- 5/5
Property is beautiful this time of year! Staff was so kind and helpful! Cheryl helped me at the front desk at check in and was so nice! Room was more than we expected and the giant windows did make you feel on top of the world! The breakfast was outstanding! The staff prepared made to order eggs and service was fast! Checkout was easy! Would stay again when in the area!

Great place. Pool hours could be longer.
- 5/5

- 5/5
It was a good experience.
- 5/5
It was great, person who helped us at checkout had zero personality, but the nice lady who checked us in was great. The hotel was wonderful, very nice breakfast, the staff at the breakfast were very friendly. So was the bartender the night before. Will stay here again for sure.

- 5/5
Excellent looking facility, perfect breakfast system, nightlife great as well.
- 5/5
I was very impressed. Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast options are the best that we had in some time. Keep up the good work.
- 3/5
Big Room but not very clean and had a fowl oder. That probably could have been handled with fabreeze or air freshner had to use my cologne twice while i stayed at the embassy may be carpet cleaning would have helped.
- 5/5
The start was absolutely amazing! We can’t wait to come back during warmer weather to explore more things in the area. This will be where we will be staying again for sure!
- 5/5
Very nice friendly staff. Clean elegance in the hotel. Great breakfast

Room was Clean and Spacious. Staff very Friendly. Breakfast was AMAZING!
- 5/5
Attentive staff
- 4/5
The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed most of our stay. However, on Saturday night there was very loud music, and all eight of us didn’t get a good night’s sleep.
- 5/5
The hotel was on par with all other hotels of its scale. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything as advertised. One thing in particular caused this hotel to excel: the people! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and assisted by very welcoming and helpful staff members. Everyone we encountered throughout the building had time to assist when needed with seemingly genuine smiles, patience, and kindness. If we were just walking and encountered staff, they acknowledged us in a friendly, respectful manner. If I return to Rockford, the Embassy is my hotel of choice. They made us feel like special and honored guests. The complimentary breakfast, by the way, was delicious!! Thank you all so very much!
- 5/5
Big clean comfy room
- 5/5
What a great hotel. Close to the concert venue we were going to, a safe walk. We did not eat breakfast there but at at the Underground Culinary. Not to bad. The hotel is very unique and most enjoyable. Parking, easy peasy. Right across the street or right next to the hotel. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable!
- 5/5
Room was very clean and cozy staff was very helpful day and night
- 5/5

- 3/5
It was the strangest hotel inside rooms but very clean and quiet.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff was very attentive. Loved having free parking over the weekend!
- 4/5
Only thing was ice machine didn’t work
- 5/5
Basement restaurant was overwhelmed & had a tough time serving a full house of patrons. But the room and hotel staff were amazing!
- 5/5
Beautiful place and the location was just great, not to mention the super friendly staff!!
- 5/5
Really cool hotel in old factory. A couple of restaurants and bars on site. Nice view of the river.
- 5/5

Rockford roasting company makes great lattes and their pastries made from scratch are all so good
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Latrice at the front desk was awesome. Please let her. Know
- 5/5
Excellent rooms and too many amenities to list! Wonderful place to stay in Rockford IL
- 5/5
Our room was really spacious, and super clean. Personally I would've appreciated a bit more light in the dining area of the room, but everything was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!
- 5/5
My husband and son said- great facility/ near water for a rowing regatta- relaxing!
- 5/5
Yes. Wonderful breakfast and Happy Hour with appetizers. I became very ill at dinner, from food from another venue (not associated with Embassy Suites), and the staff helped me so much. I was extremely ill for about 2 hours, in the bathroom off of the restaurant, and they were so kind and found a wheelchair to get me back to my room. So unbelievably kind.
- 5/5
Beautiful Rooms and Hotel. The Downtown area of Rockford is pretty deserted, but the hotel had fantastic restaurants, and a coffee shop so all of our needs were met and we felt safe. Besides the theater no other Attractions or restaurants.
- 5/5
Very clean with superb views
- 5/5
Nice room with a good view.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel. Our room was great. Restaurant had good food. The open areas outside rooms had a bad bathroomy smell. Pungent to say the least.
- 5/5
The room was great and the front desk was very helpful. Even received complimentary bottles of water for being a HH member. The coffee pot sucked and there was only public pay-to-park, no free hotel lot.
- 4/5
Everything was wonderful the only thing is i have a wheelchair kiddo and the wheelchair lifts did not work on the pool. Other than that love this place!
- 5/5
Loved the rooftop bar, pool, game room. Plenty of food options
- 5/5
Nively done conersion to hotel. Really liked it and staff was very friendly - especially breakfast staff who made great custom omlets/skillets! Wish there was parking included. Also pet friendly has a downside (we didn't have one) - we saw an owner let his dog urinate while waiting for the elevator - and then just left it.
- 5/5
Best hotel in Midwest!😎
- 5/5
The Embassy was amazing! From friendly staff to beautiful decor and great food!!! Definitely recommend staying here
- 5/5
Beautiful room with floor to ceiling windows! Nice pool and hot tub! Helpful front desk staff!
- 5/5
Breakfast was awesome. We went to happy hour. The drinks were great, the lounge itself and staff were great. We were disappointed with happy hour snacks. Limited and scrapes left when we arrived. Half hour before it ended. Still they should have refreshed. Other Embassy suites had more. This hotel was newer and built into existing warehouse. Open ceilings
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 5/5
The staff was willingly helpful, courteous, and professional. No matter what staff member (front desk, breakfast staff, bar staff) made it a pleasurable experience. The attention to detail, as far as cleanliness and aesthetics, was evident that serious thought is included, in all operations. Great job, Team!!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing!!! The kitchen did a great job but definitely seemed overwhelmed. Better signage in the kitchen might have helped the confusion. Overall a great hotel and a great location!!
- 5/5
This hotel was wonderful. Very clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed both restaurant options. The staff was courteous. The only complaints I have are limited parking options and the shower gel dispenser came off of the wall and was not fixed the two days I was there but those are minor issues. Overall I had a fantastic stay.
- 5/5
The morning breakfast crew were fantastic. Great experience.

FOOD OPTIONS WERE GREAT. I LOVED THAT THE ELEVATORS WERE NOT CROWDED, THE CLEANLINESS, AND THE ROOM SPACE.
- 2/5
Late night staff on Friday July 25 was very rude.
- 5/5
The staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing! The continental breakfast food and staff were the best we’ve had. The only area of the hotel that was difficult was the lack of parking.
- 5/5
I love the aestetic of the place. Everything was quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Nice pkace
- 5/5
This building has been renovated from a factory. I like how they incorporated the historic blueprints into some of the decorations.
- 5/5
I love staying here anytime I come out staff is awesome and the property is very clean love this place
- 5/5
This property is very nice. The staff were attentive, friendly and effective.
- 5/5
Love the use of the structure from warehouse / factory to hotel.
- 5/5
Unique setup in old building.
- 5/5
I love everything about this hotel.
- 5/5
Great experience for my wife and kid
- 3/5
The room and staff were great! But there were some negatives the pool was so cloudy you couldnt even see your feet on the bottom so could not swim. Then tried to use the bathroom in the pool area when i opened the door was immediately hit with a horrible urine and feces smell and could see the toilet was not flushed had to put a towel over my face only to find the toilet did not work had to do use the bathroom soaking wet in the bar restaraunt area. Then paid $40 for the virtual golf bad experience the sensors were horrible they did not read right tried playing the other games they did not work correctly and on top of that it had to have been 75-80 degrees in the gameroom waste of $40 dont even think we made it 30 mins.

Wonderful!

What a pleasant surprise! I have never been to Rockford, so I didn’t know what to expect. Large, spacious room, with an industrial feel. Had an amazing steak dinner in the restaurant, and drinks in the penthouse bar. The complementary breakfast served up omelets, made to order, as well as boast of other items. If I ever return to this area, I will surely stay here again!
- 3/5
The hotel room was nice, but it would’ve been nice if tv in bedroom swiveled, & blackout curtains did not close all the way. The worst part of our stay was the rude service we received by staff at the “evening reception”. The waiter was so rude! After he seated us, we ordered an appetizer, because the snacks were just that, snacks, popcorn, cheese crackers, fruit, & we got our complimentary drinks. He was just very snooty, & before we had even decided if we were going to order more food, he brought us our check, without even asking if we wanted anything else! Missed opportunity for him! Also, we had come to a trivia night, at the rooftop bar a few nights earlier, & our waitress there was so rude as well! We sat at our table for at least 25 mins before putting in our drink order, & when we were done, & asked her to take our check w/ credit card, she rudely said she’d be there in a minute, even though she was at another table right by ours. The rooftop bar seems to try to be more upscale, but their staff was totally unprofessional & rude, no wonder it wasn’t very crowded? I will say the staff at front desk were wonderful! As a resident of Rockford, who try’s to support downtown businesses, I’m super disappointed if this kind of poor service, is what we are portraying to out of town patrons, as it doesn’t put Rockford’s downtown in a very good light, unfortunately! I would expect any hotel, but especially an Embassy Suites, to have exceptional service staff?

Very nice & clean. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have had from a hotel. We will definitely be staying there again.

Staff very polite food was awesome very clean rooms

Stay would have been perfect if the front counter help had explained the elevator system. Once a guest explained it to us, we had a great time.
- 4/5
I gave it 4 stars because of the parking not being free despite the high cost to stay there.

Great place to stay

Comfortable, clean, great food. Would stay there again.

Excellent hotel!

The only hotel in downtown Rockford. Pricey for Rockford, but sure beats the East State Street lodgings.

Great staff, big rooms, nice patio
- 5/5
Property was beautiful. Nice dining and bar option. Most staff are friendly, but some should not be in the service industry.
- 5/5
Love this place! Will definitely stay again!

It's a Wonderful location with a rooftop dining option and a very updated style. The only down side is the parking is not on property. $17/day.

Excellent all around. Highly recommend if staying downtown Rockford.

We had a great experience! Loved the breakfast and the convenience of the restaurant.

Nice place to stay!

Very pleased with the stay

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Air conditioning did not work. Room was 80 degrees. We were told by front desk that a service technician would come take a look but no one ever showed up. Also phone in room did not work?

Beautiful hotel. Like the atmosphere and being downtown.
- 5/5
Excellent facility with a wonderful staff!

It was a nice property and the staff was friendly.

Interesting historic building. The room was dirty with food on the floor and furniture, the maid removed our used towels and did not replace them, we were charged for parking on a free weekend day; the front desk staff seemed unconcerned about these issues.

This is a very nice hotel with spectacular views and spacious rooms. Some of the furniture is a little worse for wear. The bedside table had a large, worn-out spot, and the drapes didn't close in one part of the room. However, the bed was very comfortable, and plenty of room to hang out, very accessible, and the restaurants inside were good.

Wonderful stay. Clean, great staff

My favorite place to stay in Rockford

Clean room, great customer service and they offer a free breakfast (made to order omelet and waffles, etc) and a free happy hour (2 drinks each). It was walking distance to the Coronado Theatre and other great dining options. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was unique.

The hotel overall is beautiful and very well cared for. The folks that check us in didn't seem to thrilled to be there and maybe it was a rough or busy day but a polite good afternoon or evening with a slight smile would have been nice. Our room was without doubt a very nice accommodation and everything was clean, in good repair for the most part, and professionally decorated. The only problem was the furnace / AC / Central fan unit was non-functional. After a long day my wife just wanted to climb in bed so we did not contact the hotel for maintenance on this, but this is something should have been caught before we got there. We enjoyed a decent dining experience in the lower restaurant, and I can't say enough good things about our waitress, I believe her name was Vanessa. Simply put a wonderful young lady who deservers at least twice what she is making - without her this review would have been much worse, she was the only thing that would make me look at the hotel for a second stay. She was the only employee that seemed as if she was happy to be there and serving us. Much better than the two ladies when we walked in that ignored us for almost 5 minutes as one showed the other how to put an order in. A simple turn around, acknowledgement with we will be right with you would have made a world of difference. Just a lack of professionalism throughout the experience with the exception of our waitress. Enjoy your stay but don't expect too much on the professional service side.

Great stay!

Not a good stay for us at Embassy Suites. Huge party next to our room that kept us up from 1:30am - 4am. The hotel staff was very responsive and tried to help us, but the issue wasnt fully resolved until 3:40am. We had a 7am departure for a volleyball tournament next door and absolutely no coffee bar or any coffee whatsoever. Breakfast wasnt until 7:30am. Tripple whammy for us....NO SLEEP, NO COFFEE AND NO BREAKFAST!

I loved this property and my room was very big and spacious. The only thing I did not like was it was very different about the parking you would have to leave and come back and park after 4 PM to not get charged which I didn’t understand I think if you’re a hotel, guest you shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced by leaving and coming back to park

Highly recommend.

Beautiful and unique property, which was clean and had a courteous staff. I believe it's a hidden gem in the area.

The view from our room was beautiful and overall quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the two complimentary drinks from the downstairs bar as well. Great service and friendly staff!

Beautiful historic building. Nice reception and breakfast. Walked to Coronado.
- 5/5
Large room with big bathroom, super comfy bed, soft towels- and all very clean. There are good options for dinner in the too floor restaurant or easy walking to restaurants and coffee shops. Lovely staff, very helpful. And it’s very quiet and well insulated- I stayed here the same time as a big group of dance moms and their kids. Never heard them.

Did not engage in the hotel amenities except breakfast, which was perfect for a vegetarian. The room was spotless and very quiet. Would return.

Great stay!

Nice hotel, very good breakfast! Parking is not as convenient as one would expect but overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Best hotel in Rockford
- 5/5
My first time in downtown and Embassy Suites definitely did not disappoint. Check-in was easy, and front desk was exceptional: very attentive and helpful. Pool was great for the kids, although a bit small but still had a great time. They have a game room, rooftop is great, and housekeeping was good. The only con is the parking for it but other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely stay here when I come back.

I liked they were very friendly and helpful. Also very clean and quiet

Great stay

Very clean, well kept, quiet and friendly staff

If you need valet parking there is none. If you have mobility issues plan to have a companion drop you off at the door. .
- 5/5
We had a corner room facing the river and it was AMAZING!! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable - the whole vibe was home-like and fancy. It was a bit pricey but absolutely worth it!
- 4/5
Everything was great; I would stay again. The only negative issue is that I must move my car by 9 am because the city will not let anyone park and you will get a ticket. Shame on Rockford, the city, for not working this out. It's a 5 story building, beautiful, and a historic landmark. I was there on business. I thought about returning for entertainment reasons; The event center is one block away. I could see the Rockford Icehogs or music events. It's a really nice location. How do you limit parking? It makes no sense who wants to get a ticket for that. If you want tourists to visit your town, make it more convenient. As far as the hotel is concerned, the ownership group and IHG built a beautiful hotel
