I wish the waffle machine had been working. But overall we had a great stay! Quiet property and large room.

The property was conveniently situated exactly where I was done driving during my roadtrip Filthy. Smells like smoke. Lamp in room didn’t work. Burn holes in sheets, all over the carpet, smelled stale. Lamp in room didn’t work. Only had one working fixture in the living area.

We were greeted with a printed out sign that said "back in 15 minutes" and a phone number to call with an automated answer and no way to leave a message. After a long wait, someone showed up. After check-in, no staff was seen again. The room looked like it had not been cleaned with food debris on the surfaces. The sheets and bedding looked filthy with numerous cigarette burns--we could not even sleep on them, laying on top of the cover in our cloths all night. The floor was sticky like fly paper and the bathroom had significant amounts of black mold. I would not advise staying here--very inhospitable in every catagory.

The hallway smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom was in need of repair (ceiling was moldy & paint peeling) The way the shower curtain was hung, it wouldn't stay closed while showering

Man/ owner that checked us in was extremely rude said we didn't have reservation then spoke very badly about booking ,com told us good luck getting our $ back from them At our insistence he did find our reservation ( he said he checked us in at 4pm. We arrived at 6;30 ish He had already charged our card then asked how we wanted to pay!! No coffee at breakfast had to wait then an elderly lady in a bathrobe came out and made coffee and started putting out breakfast handled food ( bread and bagels ) with bare hands the made coffee then emptied the trash can. coffee pot spilled over and she didn't know what to do so I put napkins to catch the spill. Room was dirty and foul smelling mold in shower area. We would have left but had an early morning appt and my husband is in poor health so felt we just needed to stay put. Please see above

Dirty and dusty surfaces in the room, yelling front desk manager at midnight (down the hall too), poor lighting all made for an unpleasant stay. We will not stay here again.

The phone in the room didn't work. The water pressure was non existent! The TV worked after fooling with it for 30 minutes? Staff friendly. Not an expensive stay & now know why.

Clean and comfortable. Couldn't get some of the lamps/lights/bathroom fan to turn on but it could have been my fault as well.

The hotel needs to be renovated. The location is adequate. The best value for staying.

The room was not handicapped like they said it was on the second floor no elevator it smelled like pot. The beds were worn out. I will not stay there again.

This hotel was clean and smelled nice. The hotel was dated, could be a little more modern in appearance.

The only staff member on-site was the cleaning lady. She cleaned rooms and ran the front desk (for a minute or two). The upshot was, if a customer had questions, there was hardly ever a live human to turn to. And at night, there were no staff anywhere in evidence.

There was roaches in my room- the cleaning lady left my door unlocked with my personal belongings in there and didn’t show back up to complete my room until I had been in the room for over an hour( one could only imagine how confused I was when I came back after 1pm to find my room wide open and no one present)- walking down the hall way to get to the “non smoking” room reaked of weed.

This is a bicycle friendly property but has absentee management. The air conditioner was also not working properly in my room.

Front desk was friendly and parking was easy but the room did not feel clean at all. The floors were so dirty that my slipper bottoms were black after 1 night there. The towels were stained and falling apart. They just need to focus a little more on cleaning and replacing items and it will be a much better hotel.

Breakfast was a bit skimpy

Slow process checking in to start, then the room had a fowl odor, we dropped our stuff off quick and had somewhere to be. That night upon return checking the room out we realized it had to be a smoking room which i smoke but not indoors. The room had a bad stinch to it, the beds were hard as a rock, the shower had very poor pressure, the sink drain had mold, and had many features such as the toilet paper holders and stuff broke and rusty. Badly needs a remodel and glad we only had to endure it for a few hours. Definitely will be more observant on our next outing and will look at other places in this area.

Ingles grocery store close to property. Silver Comet trail entry 1.2 miles away. E- bike rentals available by start of Comet trail. Off the busy road away from highway.

Noboby at the Lobby; they leave the key and paper at the desk; room was used, dirty and cigar smoke; have to call the person 2 times and delay to show up, nothing friendly. After that gave me another room and the rest was ok.

I didn’t like the fact that I checked myself into property. My room keys and registration slip was laying on the counter at front desk with a pen when I arrived!!! Do know how long the keys were in secure and my info👀👀😡😡

The staff was friendly and answered any questions I may have had and anything I needed was available as long as it was during the time they were there which you can get in touch with him through a phone, but they basically stopped working at the desk between nine and 10 that was no big deal for me I really didn’t like the cleanliness of the bathrooms and stuff like that. I was dirty had pee on it, but when staff took care of it.

This use to be a ok hotel. It is terrible now. We had no choice but to stay here or sleep in our car. We should have slept in the car. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.

This place is a bit old and run down, but a convenient place to stay if biking the Silver Comet rail trail, which was the context for my stay. It’s about one mile off the trail and friendly toward bikers (seems they try to reserve the first floor rooms for bikers). The guy managing the hotel was very friendly and there seemed to be a continual congregation of regulars hanging out with him in the lobby, talking and watching the TV there. This gave the place more personality than the typical roadside budget hotel and lead to me ordering a pizza to eat in the lobby rather than venturing out for a post-ride dinner.

Decent room. Breakfast had no protein options, only breads, cereals and waffles. Milk for cereal was expired. If you don't mind going out for breakfast, it was an acceptable stay.

The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, as did the hallway. I asked to change rooms and they said that the whole upstairs had that smell because some of the rooms are smoking rooms. I asked for a downstairs room and was told that they were all booked. There was 3 cars in the parking lot and they had no downstairs rooms. I don’t believe it but ok. Also, the bed had a fitted sheet that kept coming off and no top sheet. The only way to cover up was with the filthy, itchy blanket that has never been washed.

It’s a good experience for the money. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious and the breakfast was good, although I didn’t see any decaf coffee or protein (bacon, sausage). They had waffles, cereal, pastries, bread, bagels, OJ, whole milk, jellies, peanut butter, cream cheese, and the like. The room mini-fridge was plenty cold when I checked in. If you’re looking for the Ritz, don’t stay here. It’s a modest property and I was happy with it. If you avoid stairs, request a 1st floor room because there is no elevator. Location is convenient to casual dining and fast food. There’s a nice new liquor store next door. The best thing is the staff. Nice, friendly folks who make you feel welcome.

This hotel was below average and not clean.

No one was there at check in. Had to wait till someone got there to get checked in. Same when we checked out. You can hear everyone around you. Bed was horrific. Being right next to the liquor store allowed for too much drunk folks in the hallways. Breakfast included, that should be false advertising.

No one is at the reception in the night if you have a problem. I had to camp out in my car, as I was about to vomit from the bed. The mattresses do not have adequate sheets or protectors over them. Nasty. Towels were stained. My clothes had a terrible smell of cigarettes afterwords and had to be aired out on the roof of my car while I was camping out on the parking lot.

Breakfast was adequate. A little Maintenance in bathroom would make the place seem nicer (new toilet lids, tissue holder, etc.) everything worked ok, just needed spiffing up. It would be nice if the fan were designed to just ventilate without having to have the heat or AC on. Overall good place to stay if riding the Silver Comet.

Room was clean. Had issues with remote, was given immediate attention to fix. The electrical plug in bathroom didn’t work. The didn't stock coffee cups. I was close to main entry and sound was a big issue. I was woken 3 times by other tv and people in hall. The smell in hall was irritating to me. Overall the cleanliness and friendliness is the most important.

Staff was very polite and room was easy to find. Room was clean and shower has nice water pressure. Bed wasn't the comfiest, and I could hear when people closed their doors in the hallway. Waffle and coffee was very good at breakfast. Within walking distance to a Captain D's. But over-all was a nice stay, I would stay again.

The place isn’t kept up good. God forbid if you try calling and getting anyone on the phone. Showed up and keys let in window with my name on it like wth. How unsafe. Will never stay again.

This hotel is average, I would say. But the service the Manager Bina provides is excellent! We are e-bikers and asked for ground floor rooms so we could bring our bikes inside. There were none available, so Bina offered to keep them for us in a secure closet next to Check in counter. It gave us peace of mind to know that our bikes were safe! Breakfast could have been a bit better, but overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Whoever came to get our towels never replaced them. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging onto the wall which caused the shower curtain to not stay closed. The toilet seat was missing. And the lady who cleaned our room prior to us getting there was high. And even said she was herself

Most of the rooms were taken by a utility company. Some of them were always in parking lot smoking and drinking. One guest stood beside his car in front of us and our grandkids and changed his shorts and then pissed. Told management and they don't do anything.

The hotel was close to the Silver Comet bike path. The walls are thin and it was a bit noisy. Only fast food places to eat nearby.

The rooms don’t have carpet, which is a huge plus, not once did I feel dirt on my feet. Exceptionally clean

Pool was closed. A bunch of construction workers made noise all night disturbing my sleep. There was an odor of Marijuana in the hallway. Continental breakfast was minimal and dull.

Good courteous employees. Even though the facilities have not been renovated lately, it’s comfortable and clean enough for a 1 night stay near the 37th mile of the Silver Comet trail. We’ve crossed other bikers in our stay there too. Breakfast it’s just plain bagel, a couple of selections of cereal, and orange juice/coffee/tea.

Very comfortable stay for 3 nights. All employees went over and above to make sure we felt welcomed and were taken care of firing our stay.

We stayed in the Econo lodge as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The common area and room smelled of smoke, there was hair and bugs on the walls. We had family in several rooms and this was consistent throughout. Needs a good cleaning

Liked it all, Management and Staff was Excellent, room was Clean. It was Quiet Slept fine. Needed a taxi to get from one side of bed to the other.
