Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests expressing satisfaction with the cleanliness, staff friendliness, and breakfast options. However, many guests have complained about the lack of microwaves in rooms, dirty hotel grounds, and issues with AC and bathroom doors. Some guests have also reported unpleasant smells, cockroaches, and bed bugs in the rooms.

- No microwaves in rooms

Rat traps in some rooms. Also when I checked in end of May 2026 they had no room key cards and the staff had to manually open your door not knowing if that’s really your room or not. Very unsafe
- 1/5
The door lock did not work got charged with wrong credit card
- 2/5
When we arrived we discovered that their key card system did not work. We had to get someone from the front desk to let us in. Often times there was no one at the front desk and we had a wait. Also the water did not get hot, it only got lukewarm. We complained and they sent a maintenance man who checked it and said they lower the temperature during summer months. This was May and cold and rainy. Will not stay here again.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the Sleep Inn in Rockville. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet reasonable expectations for comfort or customer service. During my stay, the room key cards repeatedly did not work, causing unnecessary inconvenience and difficulty accessing my room. On multiple occasions, I had to search for someone from the front desk because staff were often not available at the desk when assistance was needed. Additionally, I experienced significant difficulty contacting the front desk by phone. I had to call approximately 12 times before receiving an answer, which was very frustrating when I needed assistance. Due to these issues and the lack of proper accommodations and responsiveness, I am requesting consideration for compensation, whether in the form of a refund, discount, reward points, or another appropriate resolution for the inconvenience I experienced. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter and hope we can resolve this fairly. Sincerely, Bradford Woodridge

Everything was excellent. Was disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed until Memorial day.
- 2/5
Terrible smell of tobacco in the hallways and the room; no key for the door; the receptionist opened the door during my stay; the pillow and mattress were uncomfortable and old; bathroom issues.
- 2/5
It was gross. There were leaks and the paint was bubbling up all around the property. My room looked clean but under the nightstand you could see nobody cleaned or was in the details. There were ants in my room, the tv was from 2005.

Bad smells
- 2/5
I did not like it because they didn’t even have enough towel for us. The Customer Service is a little poor. Also the smell of the hallway horrible

Very dirty, door handle on shower wasn’t properly placed on and kept falling off when we gently opened it. Smelled like cigarettes everywhere even though most of it is nonsmoking. A lady out front stopped me saying “sir you don’t wanna keep your baby here, there’s rats” man at front checked us in with no questions so my wrong card got charged. When I checked out the next morning the front desk lady was on her phone talking to someone that wasn’t working sounded like a friend and just stared at me waiting for me to say something is was of holding her call. WILL NOT stay here again.

The hotel room needed some maintenance and care. The sink faucet was completely loose, exposing the faucet cutout on the sink by a half-inch, so I had to be careful not to let water hit there and fall to the carpet below (which already had a big stain). The drain was also extremely slow, which was manageable for a one person stay, but would have been unusable with multiple people using the sink. The shower floor was slightly sloped and bumpy underneath, which would be difficult for someone with balance issues. It usually took many times (up to 8 swipes) for the key card door reader to work. After replacing the key cards twice, I realized that it was the likely just the door reader that was old. Finally housekeeping forgot to vacuum a section in the middle of the floor that had a big smooshed cracker or something on it. But the breakfast was great!
- 3/5
Bed and surfaces were clean. Staff replenished breakfast. Air conditioner worked well. Sink drain was clogged, shower facet was old, handle on shower was broken, toilet seat was loose, and carpet needed replacing.
- 1/5
All ice machines and laundry machines were "out of order" (a permanent excuse?) The lock on back door was broken. Staff was hard to find and even harder to call for a simple request like a towel exchange. I spared them the 2nd day cleaning!
- 5/5
No laundry.

Awful I would not my recommend this hotel to nobody. Seems like the previous guess before me had a dog with them because there was hair everywhere!!! And the cleaning staff did not bother cleaning it properly as they should. They didn’t even do my bed for any of the 3 days I stayed
- 2/5
Very limited on their linens, when asked for more they said they didn’t have any at the time?! Room above us was extremely loud at all hours of the day and night. Went to the front office and said something yet nothing was done. Breakfast was meh. Not hot had to heat it in microwave. Waffles were good. No very friendly staff. Not recommended.

Good value for the money.

I got ill from breakfast, even though it was the main reason I book a Choice hotel. The beds are not good. Every movement makes squeaking noises and I could feel the trucks from the nearby highway when I laid down. There were no toiletries. The front desk clerk acted incredibly confused when asked for a bar of soap and then handed us conditioner. Which was all they had left I guess. The walls in the room had mysterious substances on them. There are people living at this hotel who are incredibly rude and intimidating. Overall not good.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and far below the expected standard of hospitality. Upon arrival, I was forced to wait more than 30 minutes for the receptionist, and only after calling the front desk was I able to receive any assistance. When I entered the room, I discovered several unacceptable issues: the air conditioning was not working, there was a strong unpleasant odor, and no towels were provided for showering. When I attempted to speak with the receptionist regarding these concerns, she was not present, and despite waiting for a considerable amount of time, I received no assistance. Later, when I returned to the room and attempted to sleep, I was shocked to find rats inside the room, creating noise and making it impossible to rest. Once again, I went to seek assistance from the receptionist, but she was not there. I called the front desk, only to be told that nothing could be done, as the receptionist was the only person available. At that point, I had no choice but to pack my bags and leave the hotel immediately. As I was leaving, the receptionist assured me that the reservation would be canceled and that I would receive a refund. However, I have not yet received any reimbursement. I kindly request that my refund be processed without any further delay. This experience was unacceptable, and I believe immediate corrective action should be taken to prevent such situations in the future. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your swift response and resolution.

Not much. The location was good. With no record of our reservation at Sleep Inn, we were moved to the adjacent Ramada Inn. We were locked out of our room for hours waiting for a maintenance man to open the door with a bent coat hanger. Many guests at this hotel were unable to even get into their rooms due to bad door locks. Breakfast was mediocre. Floors in the hotel had circles of colored paper (confetti) scattered about. Suggests house cleaning not very thorough.

They have mice and roaches. Round need deep cleaning
- 3/5
One night stay. Very basic room. Wash rag had what appeared to be caked on stool. Breakfast was fine. Wouldn’t stay again.
- 2/5
Phone was dead. No maid service. Light ballasts going bad. Had to ask for shampoo and soap. Only one bath towel and no mat. Breakfast was just OK.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Contrary to some recent reviews, my room had NO mice, cockroaches, or bedbugs. However, the floor under the head of the bed had pieces of snack food, wrappers, and other debris. The rest of the room was clean enough, and everything was functional and maintained, except the coffee maker was missing the basket that holds the coffee. I got coffee from the lobby, but had none to wake up with. I had to ask the front desk for a bar of soap and a washcloth. The housekeepers do during your stay, but clean the room after you check out. I guess you can’t expect too much at a hotel that has a cheap rate. Overall it was good enough.
- 5/5
That was excellent
- 5/5
Didn't have breakfast. Otherwise the Hotel was welcoming. Room was good. Desk personnel were expecting me and I was checked in within 5 minutes. I will stay there next time I'm in the area.
- 4/5
Yes
- 2/5
We had a leaking toilet in our first room. We moved to another room. The TV in that room didn't work. There was not bath mat in either room.
- 4/5
Yes it was very fresh an tasteful and the AC worked just fine I couldn't tell any problems during my stay.
- 1/5
The room smelled bad. Didn’t look clean. We supposed to stay for 2 nights, unfortunately I found a bed bug on the next day.
- 3/5
no clean towels asked for them but did not get any trash was not removed
- 2/5
The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as it looked. The pictures on hotel.com show 4 pillows on each of the two double beds and in my room one of the beds only had 2 pillows. Then I discovered the next morning that the faucet for the sink wasn't attached correctly. It worked fine but was loose and wobbly. In the shower, the floor was very slick. The shower was oval shaped. The faucet was at one end of the oval and the grab bar was at the other end of the oval. This placement of the grab bar made it nearly useless. In my opinion, that shower is just an accident waiting to happen. There was one tiny shelf to hold your bar of soap, and a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. This tiny shelf was too small to hold all three of these things. There was absolutely no place to put a washcloth. There was no shower mat, so I had to use a hand towel as a shower mat. On my last full day, I discovered there was a pile of black mold on the floor under the sink which I hadn't noticed before. That wasy deal breaker. I won't be going back. There's more I could share but I'm almost out of characters
- 1/5
Bedbugs. There were bed bugs in room 203.
- 2/5
I was awakened in the night by a rustling sound...I grabbed my phone and turned the light on to find a mouse on the desk trying to get in a bag of pretzels I had..Needless to say I grabbed my belongings and drove home..Apparently there's a rodent infestation that need to be taken care of here..
- 5/5
They’re nice there people to help they help every customers when I see it so they’re nice thank you for so much for your hospitality
- 4/5
It was well
- 3/5
No fitness center at the Sleep Inn. You have to walk to the neighboring hotel to use their very limited and old equipment. Room is tiny. Mouse traps in the room. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in adjacent rooms, halls, and outside.
- 1/5
Usless staff,running rats at room
- 4/5
Good stay overall!
- 4/5
Safe, quiet, and affordable.
- 3/5
No one at check in desk
- 2/5
The back door was not locked at night. The carpet hallway and room are dirty, despite being brown color still showing dirtiness:could be seen. Television is old at room and at the lounge area. lounge seat are so dirty we cannot sit on it. It needs some tlc. and spider at the breakfast area.
- 1/5
It's a terrible experience because this is my first time have a mouse live with me in a room of inn/hotel. In the middle night mouse/mise kept running around on the TV table and even nibbling at the coffee bags the hotel had provided. These sounds woke us up and made it difficult for us to sleep, fearing it would crawl into our bed. Unaware of how many mice there were, we were hesitant to get out of bed and close our suitcases and other luggage. Next morning we checked the room found there was a mousetrap in the corner of the room and coffee bag chewed by rats, I think the hotel knew there was a rat in the room but they didn't bother to tell us. we complained to the front desk, the guy said you booked at Expedia so you should discuss with Expedia, I didn't what I should say because my English isn't good enough, I think it could be the point she thought. Fortunately, my son study at this city, when he called Expedia, they call this inn immediately, but no one responded the phone. Expedia stuff suggested us directly contact with this inn. Then we drive to this inn and my son discussed with the front desk, she asked us did you call Expedia, we said Expedia got our report and called you but no one response, she had no choice but to refund us the money.

Bed sheets had blood splatters on the told front desk handed me a sheet
- 4/5

- 2/5
The reviews you will see online are generally accurate. In no particular order: One towel, no room service, cracking plaster throughout building, unsecured/broken side doors, shower door doesn't fully close, running toilet, slow responding air conditioning (likely needs exterior cleaning to remove years of particulate buildup). Overall, I think the statement "deferred maintenance" sums up every issue with this facility, and at this point I'm not sure the amount of time and money to bring the facility up to good quality is something the owners care about or may even be capable of doing (spiral of lower nightly cost and lower money to perform needed maintenance). Its likely some of this may even predate the current owners if the business was ever sold at some point given the time it would take for some of these issues to crop up.
- 5/5
Reasonably priced and free breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice breakfast
- 1/5
The property has bed bugs. It was filthy the staff were uninviting and rude
- 4/5
After we checked in, we went to our room which was near the back security door. It was NOT securely locked. Lighting in the room seemed a little limited
- 5/5
overall Sleep in is amazing. Staff especially the Indian guy( sorry forgot the name) he is so kind and accomodating! The rooms are clean! Breakfast is good
- 3/5
The room smelled and 1 towel for everyone. We were a party of 4. The rooms are very outdated and need renovations. I wouldn't stay here again.
- 1/5
The title speaks for itself.
- 2/5
Same rodent issue after being moved to another room.
- 2/5
Accommodations leaves much to be desired, needs plumbing upgrade, carpeting dingy, lighting poor, no dial tone on the telephones although room changes toilet in original reservation would not flush moved to another room was not much better, both hot and cold water pressure leaves much to be desired. In addition, at 4:00 a.m. on 8/25/25 there was a mouse running in and around the room, all 3 pillows on each bed were uncomfortable (actually useless) mini refrigerator needed to be cleaned, closet for hanging clothes needed dusting etc. I would never stay in this facility ever again and in good conscience recommend family or friends. THUMBS DOWN three times over
- 4/5
Excellent price. No pool availability made it a less desirable choice. But we were already booked. Alas. No in-room microwave available but there is one in the dining area with plentiful seating, so it was a fine stay for 1 night.
- 1/5
No one was at desk when wanting to check-in. Instead sign that they’d be back in 15 mins. Shuttle advertised but lady at front desk said they haven’t had that for years. Pool not available. Side door propped open. In secluded location at least on weekends.
- 3/5
I thought the price was good but the original room I had was unacceptable. The room change was better but i noticed people smoking and a bad smell walking down the hall. More should be done to prevent smoking in areas where not allowed.
- 2/5
The staff was very nice.
- 3/5
No bedside lights Very clean though
- 5/5
Disappointed to find no green tea, honey, shower caddy, but all this was minor, since the price was terrific & all else was great. Nice room, nice free breakfast, terrific attendant in the breakfast area, etc.
- 5/5
Cozy room, comfy bed. The breakfast was surprisingly full of options. Washer/dryer on 3rd floor was somewhat convenient (quarters only).
- 1/5
Staff was less than enthusiastic. Had to ask for a different room as the air conditioner was too noisy to sleep. Breakfast was ok. Fitness room was actually in the hotel across the parking lot.
- 5/5
comfortable room and bed. Walk in shower was a plus!!
- 4/5
Very Quietly and clean!

Nice, clean and quiet

Everything was great except the unusual loud, squealing sound of the A/C fan. It was a very hot day and the A/C cooled well so I’m not complaining too much.

This place needs the better management. They could do way better the profit wise than what they have been doing if they focus on management. They don't even provide you the basic essentials like towels, soaps and other things. my suggestions, please charge another $10.00 more and give the guest basic stuffs. very poor management. I won't recommend anyone unless they improve on managerial things. In the name of saving money, they are holding the "tail" and losing the "body".
- 1/5
Horrible- got to hotel late.!
- 3/5
Overall our stay was ok for the price. The floor carpet was dirty and sticky to bare feet. It was also slightly wet as if they had tried to clean it before we arrived. The attempt was unsuccessful and it gave the room a damp smell. There was no microwave in the room so we had to use one in the breakfast area. The phone was missing the cable so could not use it when we needed to call the reception. Beds were good and clean, as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was decent, although juices were watered down to the point when they had almost no taste. Coffee and hot chocolate were available at the lobby all the time which we appreciated.
- 2/5
Upon arrival the system was down, and we had to wait for it to come back online, before we could get into our room. The room itself was humid to the point where the carpet was damp. Even with the air running, it was uncomfortable. The pool was dirty, we didn't use it. Actually left
- 2/5
Ceiling was leaking
- 2/5
Wasn’t very clean, only one towel in a double bed room and no hand towels. The mini fridge hard to get into and no microwave. Dirty floors and it seemed like maybe the pool was shared with another hotel outside and no hot tub. The online pictures were a little deceiving expected a little better quality
- 2/5
I don’t like
- 5/5
They don't put any holds on your payment card. I always prefer this hotel over the Comfort Inn, with its pool and better gym. The gym is next door at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel. To access the gym, speak to the front desk at Wyndham. Sleep Inn has a pool and a better gym than Comfort Inn. I don't usually complain; however, the internet was down one of the days as Comcast was doing service work. Speaking of the internet, the speed is shameful and inconsistent. I mean, the speeds are pretty slow for 2025. The Red Roof Inn, which has a single star, has faster internet at peak times. Sleep Inn has slower internet when there is limited occupancy. I have stayed at this hotel countless times in all parts of the building. Maybe it's me streaming games at 2 or 4k. Sleep Inn is the best hotel around for the price and offers a yummy breakfast. The Sleep Inn doesn’t require a hold on your card, while the Red Roof Inn puts a $50 hold on your card, which takes 7 days to return. If you are picking between Sleep Inn and Red Roof Inn for typically around the same price. The Sleep Inn is worth the extra 5 to 20 dollars you pay over the Red Roof Inn
- 1/5
up leaving
- 4/5
Comfortable and clean for the price and decent breakfast
- 2/5
The staff was very kind and helpful but the room was old and damp. Seemed like water damage in the room. Luckily we only stayed for one night. Would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel stay at a reasonable price!
- 1/5
for the military, pleasure family travel or business travel. This was the worst!! I should have trusted the other reviews. A lot of people mentioned the "No towels" issue and no one being present at the front desk. Trust me spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere eles. :((
- 2/5
If I could give this a lower score, I would. The reviews and pictures online were very deceiving. We had to change rooms twice because one smelled like someone defecated in it and the other was full of cigarette smoke. They did not have enough towels throughout our stay so three of us had to share two towels for two nights/days - unacceptable. We tried to use the laundry but the washer didn't wash well and the dryer did not dry. Couldn't use the second dryer because it was melted from a fire and had eggshells in it. Really disappointed in the hotel - I don't expect much and appreciate the price, but was really lacking in some basic needs and overall cleanliness.
- 1/5
Upon check-in, I received very little customer service. We did get the wrong room, but they were able to quickly adjust this. We had 4 people staying in the room and were given 1 bath towel. When we asked for more, they told us to share and that there were no more towels. Later that night, they put a sign at the front desk to confirm no more towels would be given out for the night. The pool was dirty with black things floating in it and very cloudy. The room was somewhat clean, but we found a full uncut lime rolling on the floor. The phone in the room had no cord, so we couldn't contact the front desk. The hair dryer was broken. The fridge was placed up on a shelf where it could have easily fallen on someone. There was a hole in the bedspread and stains on the sheets. The staff was often away from the front desk, out on smoke breaks. The only good thing was the air conditioning, which worked well.
- 1/5
No Exhaust fans in bathroom and it’s so tiny congested which lead to everything as a problematic, beds are not comfortable, refrigerator not working , breakfast is not good
- 1/5
This property had no towels and never cleaned our room. The night shift front desk person was rude and borderline racist toward my wife. He walked away from her and talked to her in the rudest tone. Stay away from this property. The pictures on the website and rating must have been from the day of the fresh paint and carpets. Rundown and not worth the cheaper cost!
- 2/5
Upon arrival check in clerk had us wait for 10 minutes when no one else was in front of us. Then when finally checking us in, clerk continued to ask others if he could help them while we were still being checked in. Front desk attendant barely spoke to us. There was only 1 set of towels for a two person occupancy and when asked for another one they said they didn’t have any. The pool was at another hotel next door, there were not regular outlets except by the sink, and the carpet by our door would get soaking wet after someone showered. Definitely not going back.
- 3/5
The room felt damp. I'm guessing because of not having a vent in the bathroom for when using the shower. The only other thing that bothered us the selling point of the pool. In the advertisement it should clearly state the hours of use are 10am-8pm. We never got to use it because we were up at 6am, continental breakfast is at 7 and by 10am were were heading out to see family. It would have been nice for it to be open earlier.
- 5/5
The free breakfasts are very similar.
- 1/5
Well the first thing you see walking to the front door is people that look homeless sitting on the sidewalk out front of the hotel. Then you walk inside and no one is at the front desk and I just stood there for a long time without anyone coming to greet me. The man that finally did come out did not even smile at me. He did not tell me time that breakfast would be or anything and I ended up missing breakfast because there was no sign up anywhere to let me know. There was no phone in the room. The door stuck and was hard to open or shut. The bathroom was the size of a small closet and made me feel claustrophobic. I had to bring my comfort blanket in to sleep that was from my father who recently passed away and I was in such a rush to leave that I forgot it. I tried to call the front desk all day and no one answered because I wanted to make sure they didn’t throw away my blanket but I was unable to get anyone on the line at the location. I ended up calling corporate and they even tried to get ahold of someone on the emergency line and they could not. The nerve of this hotel to charge the amount of money they charge for such a disgusting lazy staffed falling apart building. There is so much more. Oh yeah the outside door locks didn’t work so anyone would be able to just come inside and walk around. The halls smelled disgusting. I wish I had never made that reservation but I usually enjoy the choice hotels brand. This was the worst experience of my life and corporate was amazing

There was limited staff at this hotel and therefore nobody available at times at the front desk. We had to wait for someone to show up. They did not have enough towels if we needed more - for the pool or room. The drawers in our room kept open because they would not stay shut. Overall, this was not a great hotel - ok for a short stay.
- 4/5
Nice and pleasant stay. Morning breakfast was nice with good service
- 3/5
Good budget hotel. Rooms were average sized but not a problem. Check your bed before getting in because there were bugs in one of the bed, supposedly from the air vents. Just in the one bed closest to the air vent. Apart from that clean hotel. The towel situation is ridiculous. They will not give extra towels even if the room has more than 2 occupants. Not sure if it is cause the hotel was fully booked but shouldn’t have been an issue regardless. The pool is good for a hotel like this. It was nice and had seating. The fitness center is not in the building, probably shared with the hotel across the driveway. Continental breakfast was plain but filling for a morning. Egg, sausage, apple juice, orange juice, coffee, waffles and toast. For the price the value is there but other than that not really the best
- 3/5
All the light fixtures and their switches are across the room from the bed, so there was no way to leave a light on until you got in bed and then turn it off. I think this may be the first time in at least 20 years that I have stayed in a hotel room at any price that didn't have a bedside lamp! It did have a bedside table with easy electric plug & USB access, though, so you can still easily plug in your CPAP, charge your phone, etc. by the bed. The toiletries are scented, so if you are sensitive to scented products remember to bring your own. Again, this property was less expensive than most others in the area by around $50 a night IIRC, so it was the right choice for me. It is truly about budget and expectations.
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend anybody stay there. 3 rd floor no A/C. The desk said we don’t have towels the guest have been using them all day.
- 1/5
The reception attendant claimed that noone else had complained about the heat. However, that was inaccurate after speaking to a number of folks on the 3rd floor who had the same problem. Temp was so bad that after complaining profusely and threatening to report them to the local Dep or Real Estate for Property Management violations, they moved us to another sister property at 2am in the morning. No other customers were moved because they didn't have the wherewithal or knowledge to make the same complaint. Honestly, the attendant didn't care until I demonstrated my knowledge regarding property mgt laws. I had to go back and forth between properties at that hour of the night to take linen that the new hotel did not have. At first I had to return to the original hotel to have them correct my name because they transferred the wrong person and the receiving hotel refused to confirm via phone. Also, our original reservation included breakfast and the new receiving hotel would not honor that but told us to back to the original hotel for breakfast... That wasn't going to happen... Enough said! Horrible!
- 5/5
Staff was very nice . Room was very clean but hallways were very very hot .

Staff was very friendly. Room was ok for a night but pillows were really gross and dirty. The bed is extremely uncomfortable as well. Also the bathroom was tiny and had a pocket door that was hard to close. It also had no tub which was dissapointing as my 2 1/2 year old really prefers taking a bath. The hotel itself was in a really easy to find location. The pool is shared by the neighboring hotel and needs some work. The patio furntirure at the pool looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a very long time and the railing to get into the pool came out when i grabbed it to get in. Also the hallways were extremely hot almost like the ac isnt working. Next time ill spend the extra money to stay somewhere a little nicer but this is a good place for staying on a budget.

Clean and convenient to Maryland soccer complex. Only issue was the bed being a bit firmer than I like but for the price you cannot beat it.

next door and if you read my reviews. I was very satisfied with hotel. Both the Sleep Inn and The Ramada have the same property owner so they share a pool, a gym and a shuttle. The Ramada Inn hotel next door might be older and you might read some older bad reviews on it. But for around the same price I would go for the Ramada. The room was bigger, although older my standard room came with a modern 4K television and refrigerator. The Ramada Inn also has blazing fast internet. For those who have remote PS5, Xbox Series X or PC/Mac setup. The Ramada won't shutter. The Sleep Inn although not terribly slow has latency issues while playing remotely and will crash after about a minute.. The Sleep Inn is definitely maybe two(proably 3) decades newer. So it is pretty well lit. The rooms are pretty close together though. I stayed at the Ramada for about two weeks renewing my stay several times. The Ramada and the Hotels must be in synch. Because the cleaning crew seemed to know and didn't bother me. I had to get up to knock in morning for 3 day stay at Sleep Inn to explain I was booked for 3 days. The Sleep Inn and Ramada Inn are priced so close together. I stayed at the Ramada for two weeks and was very happy. Sleep Inn isn't bad though. The Ramada is clearly the superior. The Gym for sleep inn is next door at the Ramada. Pretty new gym refer to the hotels page on app.

I was determined to solve the towel mystery. However at checkout I blanked and forgot. At checkin for 3 people only 1 towel 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel in the room. I went to the front desk and was able to get more. Beyond that everything was good. They don’t clean everyday unless you request service. great location quiet plenty of food and shopping nearby easy access to I-270 and the Shady grove metro.

By the third day we wanted refund so we can move out, they then got us another room with same bad conditions except the Aircondition worked in that room. The hotel has notice posted that there is no smoking allowed 30 feet around the premises but guests openly smoke day and night in rooms, in front of the main entrance and next to the building. It is such an unhealthy place and the staff are not helpful at all. There are cigarette butts all over the front entrance and the outside trash cans are almost always over flowing with trash which they do not attend to or empty regularly. The County Health Department has to cite them, shut them until they properly address the unhealthy, terrible environment they operate in. We will never recommend this facility to anybody.

We came to Maryland for 24 hours just to see family we arrived abit early I call and asked the person at the front desk. Can I check in early he said sure. We was only there six hours three housekeepers came to our doorfront desk called trying to kick us out we talked to her for about 20 minutes she said everything was fine. I’m out and about with family the front desk called again telling me to come get my things on Saturday night and my check out was Sunday 11am. Literally the worst experience in my life.

Hallway noise from guests came right through the walls. Breakfast was okay - no yogurt or fresh fruit.

The price was very fair and the rooms were nice

The toilet holder was broke, blood on the floor and the mirror was dirty

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. Details are typed out in the three pictures because there was not enough characters in this space. We would not have booked for the cost of this hotel if we would have known what we were going to experience, it definitely felt like a rip-off on many levels.

See the attached photos of the terrible room conditions and the rat holes associated with proofs of their activities. This place is in a prime location but in need of a complete restoration.

Basic lodging, property in need of refresh. Room looked worn out. Barely acceptable for amount paid. Wont consider for more than 1 night stay in future if nothing else available. Generally disappointing.

I had no cleaning service for my entire 3 day stay

Room was ok, but simple things were in disrepair. Toilet seat was lose, dresser drawer wouldn't stay closed, sink faucet lose, ice machine didn't work and there was no sign mentioning it. All easily corrected.

This is a nice hotel. The room was clean. There is plenty of parking and breakfast is served daily. The Expedia site advertises a shuttle which does not exist. I called the front desk to ask about getting the shuttle from the metro station and was told that there is no shuttle. Considering that I did not have a car, I would have chosen a different hotel. There is no business center.

The front desk was very friendly, however there were stains on the bath towels and it seemed that perhaps the room was not used in awhile. Additionally, when we went to checkout the front desk had a sign that said "be back in 15mins" which was fine, but we were on a timecrunch so we could'nt wait. I tried calling onn2 seperate ocassions to checknout over the phone and no one would answer.

In my room the coffee pot didn’t work, was suppose to have a microwave which wasn’t there and the clock didn’t work nor did the phone. Very disappointed.

Given the ratings, I was expecting a nicer facility. It felt a bit run down and I had to request a new room because my initial one hadn’t been properly cleaned (there was hair all over the bedroom). My second room wasn’t great but it was better. There was water damage on the wood, the HVAC was rusting away, the fridge had rust, and the sheets and towels had stains on them. It was still better than my first room but wasn’t worth asking again because I had a feeling a third room wouldn’t be much better. The side doors to the hotel didn’t close properly so the building was unsecure at night. The bathroom was also a pocket door that was very difficult to get closed if you accidentally retracted it entire into the pocket on the wall.

My mother and I checked in this afternoon. We were booked for 3 nights. After 2 hours, we checked out. The facility is completely unacceptable. Within our first 5 minutes we had to call maintenance, none of the dresser drawers would stay closed. The shower door also would not close and the hand sanitizer had been previously used. Next, we found a mouse trap under the air conditioner. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling. Additionally the charging station on the night stand did not work. I would like, at a MINIMUM a refund for tomorrow and Tuesday, though I believe this warrants a FULL refund, as these conditions forced us to relocate.

Towels were thin and old. Shower was unacceptable, water everywhere. I left early didn’t even have breakfast

Breakfast options were horrible. Was told that there weren't any clean towels. Rust and/or dirt in the shower. An old roll of tissue in the bathroom when I arrived without an extra roll.

This was the most disgusting place ive ever been in my whole life. Walking up 3 rats were crawling out of the trash can and it was right next to the front door. Also there were 2 police cars sitting out front by the door as well. When going into the room it smelled dirty and musty. Then there were 4 rat traps scattered all over the room. I went into the bathroom and there were nasty handprints all over the shower door and the carpet was clean. It was jusg disgusting so we immediately went and checked out.

Stay away from this place... I was bitten by bed bugs, I have red bumps all over my body. Tried to speak with the manager but he is never available… They just don’t care.

I never leave a bad review but this place was bad. Clerk was unhelpful when asked about local dining. Room smelled like a wet dog. Bathroom door was absolutely disgusting, doubt it has ever been cleaned. Back door into the hotel was open, didn’t close or lock. Only one guest bath towel for two people, coffee grounds provided but no maker. Would not recommend!
