    Unfortunately not much was good about the room or property. Front desk she was great. Outdated property and hotel rooms, area had closed restaurants around it. She told us cleaning service was every 14 days, plus we had to sign a no smoking waver but the hallways and room smelled like cigarettes and Marijuana. Not good!

    The staff members during the day are personable and friendly. I had some issues with the room but the staff took care of them quickly. The property is older so these smaller issues are to be expected. Night time is super quiet and I felt safe.Overall a decent experience

    I walked into the room and walked right back down to get a refund. This place was nasty. When I walked into the room the windows were raised and it was so hot in the room and had a very odd smell. It looked like a bad movie set. The beds were basically cot frames and were not even attached to the wall or headboard and you could love them with 2 fingers. The beds were supposed to be queen they were full size. Pictures hanging on the walls were nasty and had finger prints all over it. The dresser had a nasty grimy white substance on it. The fridge was clean inside but was rusted across the front. I felt absolutely nasty just walking in. The hallways walking to room looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks. When I was leaving a man with a huge pit bull dog was walking in. It was just nasty. That’s all I can say. The hotel said I would get a full and complete refund within 7-10 days. I really hope I do. walked into the room and walked right back down to get a refund.     The lady who works nights at the desk is amazing. She does so much and yet still is pleasant to people. Well not that I needed it but the phone in the room didn't work when I got in there. The bathtub was dripping and I didn't want to be blamed for it so I tightened it. There was still some remnants of food in the microwave and the refrigerator.

    So of course, I have to be terribly honest. Room was a little dirty, but other than that there was a fire alarm glitch where we had to leave and that just created a host of problems. From retrieving our items from the room, to having to be uploaded and sent somewhere else to finally just going back home.

    The hotel is currently under construction, with portuons of the 3rd floor and some of the rooms being remodeled. However, the workers were very quiet and we could barely tell they were there. Overall, we would stay again!

    It was in a very convenient area, but not very clean. The room appeared beaten up and in need of repair. The staff appeared annoyed by my presence, and didn’t let me talk more than 2-3 words. But I suppose that’s a given that it’s under construction, maybe it’ll be better in a year or so. One last thing, the amount of shouting and pounding going on in the rooms was concerned, the yelling in the hallways at night had me awake at night and frightened to go back to sleep.

    If I could add pictures to this review, you would have proof of the conditions. It looks nothing like the photos online. When we got there and we’re checking in I noticed several areas of the lobby that were covered in tarps. She didn’t disclose any reason for that when we came in. Nor were there any signs on the doors explaining why. I asked her if they were doing some remodeling and she told me they were dealing with a water leak. We were then given our room key to go to the third floor. Upon exiting the elevator, all of the flooring has been completely tore up. We were walking on old cement. Our room was to the left of the elevator, but to the right of the elevator, those rooms had drywall taken away from the walls because of the damage. Our room was just as bad. It had rust on the the outside of the refrigerator and dirt inside the refrigerator. There was also mold growing in the bathtub and you could see urine along the walls of the toilet that wasn’t cleaned. I took photos of all of this for proof and will post them on Google because they allow photos. It was so disgusting that we left and booked a room at a different hotel even though this was not refundable. Well, I understand that sometimes things happen and maybe they couldn’t prevent the water leak but the fact that they did not disclose that information to any guests before our arrival or during our check-in is completely unacceptable. It really makes you question what else they’re hiding at this hotel.

    There was a flood in the hotel. There were fans all over, part of the ceiling was removed. They didn’t have any rooms left that I reserved (2 double beds) so I got a roll away cot. The springs were digging in my back, the room smelled. I think I should have been notified of the conditions I was walking into.

    The location is super clean and the staff was AMAZING. The front desk had this super helpful and smiley staff, her name was Megan, she was so great to deal with all our questions. I had some business in Lockport, IL and the girlfriend stayed back with our pup. It was too hot too be bringing our 8 year old lab everywhere so Megan was able to let us late checkout. Our stay was super relaxed and easy.

    I stayed 2 nights the room was clean, the clerk was thoughtful and I had no issues. I checked out and then ended up staying unexpectedly due to a flight cancellation. The second room was dirty- hair on the sheets, hair in the sink and shower. Trash on the bathroom shelf (under the sink) and the clerk was a grumpy old lady, she was cross with a guest (who was trying to exchange pool towels) and she was complaining to me about that guest after they left the room. She accommodated my needs but was not friendly.

    The property is very dated and dark. The room had 1 working outlet, that was all. The hotel guests were loud all night and we could hear everything conversation in the next room. The toilet ran for a long time after flushing after we let the front desk know, it was not fixed however we only stayed one night so it’s possible it was fixed after we left.

    Expedia booked me in a room they did not have, and the room was lesser. Emily took care of it. The floor was very sticky, and the toilet stopped up. They brought up a plunger, but did nothing. I had to plunge myself. Emily was amazing. Thank you so much for your help. I hope the next time I stay, it is better. Nice location.

    The clerk who helped check us in was very nice. The clerk who checked us out was also very nice. The hotel is old and you can clearly tell they let the “wrong” types of people stay for extended periods. A shame because you can tell it was a nice hotel at one time. Maybe a greedy owner who pockets money instead of investing it back.

    Everything about this hotel is dirty. Rude front desk staff. No housekeeping unless you stay more than seven days. I asked front desk for some gloves to clean my room and was told they are not allowed to give any gloves out. Mood all the sink in bathroom. Dried up blood on sheets I asked to switch rooms and I was told that there was no more rooms available. Stove didn’t work either.

    The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous! The room was surprisingly bigger than we expected for 1 queen sized bed. The extra door lock/latch didn’t close all the way, which made me slightly nervous. Parking lot and entryway to hotel needs to better lit. But the hotel is a nice area directly across the street from Lifetime gym. And a Starbucks 5 min down the road if you prefer stronger coffee. For the price, I would consider staying there again.

    First off the staff was AMAZING!!! As far as the room, it appeared clean. However, the hotel is long overdue for a makeover so everything looks grimy. The room was stuffy and smelled like smoke. The paint was sliding off the wall in the corners. The carpet looked so bad I was afraid to walk on it bare feet. No amount of cleaning will fix these problems. Update your rooms and stop being cheap.

    Most of the Staff was very very nice and very considerate. Janice needs to be trained to keep her nose in her own business and not be so judgmental. Especially when she doesn’t understand a person’s situation.

    It wasnt in the best shape and could have been cleaned better. The bathroom door didnt latch. It was noisy being near the road. It was nice having an elevator and not having to take the stairs to the 3rd floor

    The hotel smelled like dog we could not walk without our shoes on because there was dog her we have to by our own broom to clean up. There were spider webs and spiders. 2 spiders in my make up bag. One of the burners on the stove were rusted and did not work

    Carper was filthy, sink in bathroom was leaking refrigerator is outdated but was functional. Staff was friendly. At least change the carpets
