    Pool was clean Needed more towels went to the office and they handed Only thing I didn’t like the cleaning people wanted us out of the room at like 8 AM instead of at 11Am for check out Room is outdated but was clean. Also wish there was more plugs on the table between the bed so multiple people can charge their phones and devices.

    We don't usually stay at 2 star hotels. This one served it purpose on our emergency stay. The staff were super nice and accommodating. We weren't able to enjoy the pool, but it looked very nice. The pool furniture was in disarray, the fountain had murky water and didnt work, and a few statues were broken. Overall, the property has not been updated in a long time. The rooms also smelled strongly of possibly mildew or something. I had to get spray to make it smell better, but the odor kept coming back. The walls are also very thin. We had drinks and the flan at the Argentian restaurant and they were very good!

    The phone and TV didn’t work. Had to call from my cell and then the TV automatically worked. No one fixed the phone. Took forever to check in as the lead agent was training 3 people and she kept answering the phone and helping others while I stood there waiting. Why couldn’t her helpers answer the phone at least and take a message. I also think $100 for a pet is terribly high. I have a little 6 lb dog and there was no sign he was even there. Very annoying policy.

    Room was very spacious and surprisingly clean, cleaner than some luxury hotels I’ve been in. You can tell that someone invested a good amount of money to build this hotel, but it appears the money ran out and they haven’t kept up on property maintenance. The pool was great though, very clean. Overall my family was very pleased and we will stay again next time we’re in town

    I travel to Wellingtons for my daughter’s tournament and this hotel was the nearest to the event so I decided to stay here, room was very clean, we went to the pool and have dinner at the restaurants around, all was perfect for me, I recommended in price and Location.

    This property is in need of some serious love and attention. The building looked very shabby nothing like the pictures portrayed. The room size was fine but the bedside lamps were not working. The room furnishings were very worn and outdated and need replacing. I was there for 1 night and tolerated its misgivings but I would not recommend this establishment to anyone

    The very kind lady named Sandra checked me in and was there to check me out of this very nice stay and I really like the property with the biggest pool I have seen shaped as Mickey Mouse and the beautiful lake at the back of the property, which is so serene with all the birds. It gave me peace and harmony there and thank you!

    They over charged for the pet fee. It should have been $25, with a $75 refundable deposit. But they don’t refund the deposit. And they don’t tell you that until you check in. There is also nobody on site late at night.

    When I travel to Wellington, I always stay at The Royal Inn! The staff is very helpful, understanding and sweet! I always feel safe there, because I often stay there by myself. The rooms have always been clean, and the location is perfect. Many restaurants in the area.

    First I want to say the staff was excellent! They really helped correct the situation. I choose hotels.com for the pay when you get there option and have been paying with cash. When I got to the hotel their policy is no cash and they informed me to go to Target to put money back on my card. Which I did and Target doesn’t do any thing like that. They then waved something so that I can use my debit card which just barely had enough. They have to discount the room like .50 because I only had cash. I know this is a world of no cash but no where in the directions on hotel.com does it say that. According to the staff it’s on their website but I never went to that. Pool was okay, rooms weren’t so great. We could totally hear everything going on next door, even when they ran water l

    Sooooooo...I usually refrain from the want for review....but this time it is warranted. I truly like this place. The old school classy bathroom fixtures are charming and should be kept. But ....the problem is that while the routine maintenance by the maid service is standard affair, the one missed item is the pullout plastic A/C filters. Maid service has neglected this necessary cleaning of the same. I hope all of your guests check this for themselves going forward. Nice old school place overall but it is looking a bit tired and could use a renovation. Good luck with your improvements.

    This hotel reminded me of the "old" Florida charm rather than the big highrise chain motels that are the norm today. The only thing I wish they had would be a hot tub in their great pool area. I highly recommend Royal Inn Hotel and would stay here again.

    When I got there it was after 2 am my plane was late. I was in a horrible room I believe the missed cleaning. Couldn’t sleep that first night at all. Next morning went to front desk and tel them about my experience and the definitely helped me and were concerned about my experience. They gave me a different room and my experience was wonderful after that. That woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and so was the security guard at night when I arrived. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the future. Thank you for a great experience!

    The rooms could use a bit of upgrading to feel more modern, but they were still comfortable. The hotel does have a restaurant on-site, which is convenient, but it would be great if they offered a complimentary breakfast option as well.     At first glance I was a little skeptical but the room we had was very spacious and clean. Thought price was very good especially since it had a small kitchen in it with sink, larger fridge and microwave so if you were staying an extended time would be useful. They do not include a breakfast and they did not have anything set up in the lobby for coffee or tea. They did have a water dispenser for hot water. Pool area was very nice. They have restaurants attached but we did not use them. You can walk thru the parking lot to gas station to get coffee, breakfast items etc. Lots of restaurants in the area. Not far from the airport, about 15 minutes. A little farther from the beach than expected and the beaches along there seemed like it was hard to find parking for. Staff here are very friendly. Parking is included so no extra fee for that.

    I can't imagine how this place gets the ratings they have. The staff was friendly and responded to requests but in 6 days we never had anyone clean, bring towels, provide toilet paper, etc. This is an aging property that may once have been like a small inland resort, but now it's a grungy motel. Linens are grubby, lamps rusty, beds tiny... The pool is quite nice and lake view is pleasant if you get a room with a view. I’ve stayed in worse places and I've stayed in more expensive places, but the rates and the property are a mismatch for sure.

    The photos online do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property and were very misleading. The room was not properly maintained. There were tiny little bugs and cockroaches present. Undergarments were left behind by a previous guest, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable. While the staff did make an effort to accommodate us, the overall condition of the room was such that no alternative offered would have been acceptable given the circumstances. I do NOT recommend this property.

    The only downsides for me were the hallway smell — it kind of reminded me of a funeral home. I’m not sure if it was the air freshener or just the building, but that’s something they could improve. I also wish I could’ve checked in earlier, but they were fully booked, so I had to wait until the 4 p.m. check-in time. My other complaint would be the bed — it wasn’t the most comfortable.

    The place is a dump. The room smelled terrible. Towels looked dirty. Room opened right to garbage can and parking lot, felt very exposed. The toilet ran all through the night and I asked twice to be moved to a different room so I could get some sleep and was declined. The staff was nice and friendly though so they get a star.

    Key never worked without going to the office and having it rekeyed. They charged me for three nights instead of 2. They said they would fix it when i checked out. They didnt. I had to call them a few days later to have it credited to my card. Wouldn't let us check in until exactly 4. By then there was 10 people in line and one computer was down so it took forever. Not the best experience.

    I had booked a suite big enough for our family MONTHS in advance. We travel for volleyball so we always go with bigger rooms. We got here and they had overbooked all the suites and we got stuck with a studio the size of my kitchen at home. The pictures you see on the internet are from yearssss ago because it is very run down. Bugs came out from under the pillows and the air conditioning was very loud and I like a white noise while sleeping. No accommodations were made for their mistake and I still was charged the same amount I paid months in advance for a suite. Not friendly. No accountability. Poor quality. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

    Actually I was not able to check in and stay at the hotel because without further notice by reservation was cancel by the hotel. I arrived about 11pm with 2 kids and I got this surprise! I reached Hoteis.com and I was informed that my reservation was confirmed. They tried to reach the hotel without any response so I was obligated to come back to Miami, 1 hour and a half from where I was because I didn’t have a place to stay. One of the worst experience that I ever had.

    Well let’s just say their photos are photoshop and is no where a luxury looking, and on top of that we found roaches and thong in a supposed clean bed. It was so gross, when addressed with front office staff they only offered to move rooms and even that room was gross. I’m gonna fight what o was charged cause it was not worth’s $400 I payed it was the worse stay ever oh and we never had out room cleaned in the 3 nights we were there, so now I see why this place have roaches and bugs.

    This hotel has misleading photos on their website. I thought it was a nice place only to arrive to what is basically a dingy motel. The hallways and rooms smell musty and moldy from the humid air. The rooms were not clean enough. Our friends had a stain on their comforter. We had a sink that didn’t appear to be wiped down. I’m sure if we hung around long enough we would have noticed worse. We could not stay there and canceled our reservation. The young man at the front desk was very kind and understanding - only good thing about the place.

    The room smelled. Everything was extremely dated with furnishings that a the thrift store would reject. We stayed for 3 nights and had to ask for the fresh linens. No one ever came around to our room to ask if we needed anything or to replace used toiletries. We were very disappointed with the quality, and felt misled by the rating on Expedia.

    I cancelled my room back in January but it failed to go through the Hotel.Com system. When Hotels.Com tried to reach out to the Royal Palm Beach they failed to make the correction. A $900 plus charge showed up on my credit card. I was never there. Furthermore after the cancellation all my Hotels.Com correspondence went directly to my spam folder so I never saw that it wasn't properly cancelled. Frustrating. Terrible Terrible

    room was okay.. grout in bathroom could be cleaner. room had a minifrig and microwave plus a large garbage can that was a plus. decent accomodations for the money. Front desk does not answer the phone when calling their number which was frustrating but we did not want to spend a stupid amount of money other hotels in the area were charging for 2 night hotel stay for business travel. Area around hotel seemed very safe with food and drink within walking distance.

    I was booking this for my guest. The card key for his room is not working, and to open the door again it required him to go downstairs to ask the front desk. I wonder how come the staff there didn't help to solve it immediately and not give him either a new key that's functioning or just simply change a room for him, it was late at night so he doesn't want to bother front desk every time, yet this is unreasonable for people not be able to enter his own room freely. PLUS, the room without any heating/or not working at all, during the winter it can be cold at night, I feel my guest didn't get a proper treatment during his stay. This is a terrible experience for him.

    I arrived at 11:30 PM and discovered that after 11 PM there is no receptionist on site — only a security guard who is not trained or authorized to assist guests beyond handing over a key. For a property charging approximately $145 per night, this is extremely concerning. I was traveling alone with two suitcases and three bags. While I did not request a first-floor room in advance, I would have preferred one due to the amount of luggage. However, with no front desk staff available, making any changes was impossible. This created immediate inconvenience. After carrying all of my luggage upstairs to the second floor, neither of my room keys worked. I had to take everything back downstairs and return again. The security guard explained she could not issue or fix keys — only let me into the room using a backup key. She contacted the receptionist, who promised to prepare new keys. About 15–20 minutes later, the room phone rang — but the phone itself was malfunctioning. I could hear them, but they could not hear me. I attempted to call back using the same room phone, and again, they could not hear me. This left me without any reliable way to communicate with staff. By that time, it was already 12:30 AM. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe leaving my room again

    The double beds are full no queen. We had to ask for clean blankets, sheets, and pillowcases because they were stained. I only gave two stars because the person who assisted us was kind and is not responsible for the “hotel’s” conditions. One of the rooms had a musty smell, and at least they changed it to a slightly more decent room. I don’t know how they manage to have three and a half stars. Honestly, I do not recommend it.

    Front desk staff was genuine and nice. Property is lagging and rooms need major overhaul. Headboard in room 175 was very loose and banged everytime you moved. Tiny ants on bathroom daily. Fridge was clean. Room had a musty smell. No issues with key cards. Everythong else worked.

    However, the heater would not warm past 65 degrees which was unfortunate because I was there when the cold weather hit. The exterior entrance was greasy and needs to be power washed. There was a coffee maker but no cups. There were ants and silver fish in the room, plus a fly I couldn't catch. Overall it suited my needs I wasn't expecting 5 star for a 2 star price.

    It's the worst hotel I've ever booked in my life. They called me 30 minutes before I arrived to check in and told me they were canceling my reservation because of a problem with the rooms, supposedly involving water, which I don't believe. What I think is that they oversold the rooms and got better money for them, which is why they left me out. My daughter had a four-day tournament in Wellington, and this ruined my trip. I looked for nearby hotels, but everything was sold out, and the ones I found cost $800 a night, which I couldn't afford. So my opinion of this hotel is that it's 100% bad. They need to have contingency rooms for these cases.

    Room with a very bad odor, they doesn't have a curtain to keep room without lights in the room. An even from front door lights traverse to the room.Lack of cleaning, Blankets smells very bad, if you look up the ceiling you will see the cobwebs. And if you are unlucky to have one the room facing the street, forget sleep well, you will hear all the cars passing by the street.

    We didn’t stay there. I didn’t feel safe so the front desk person said he was refunding my credit card, which hasn’t been refunded yet. Our 1st room had toothpaste in the sink and the shower didn’t look clean. Our 2nd room smelled and I just didn’t feel safe staying there with my 2 kids as it looked as if someone had tried to break in the window. We found another hotel which was safe and clean.

    The room smelled mildewy and musty. I complained and the staff said that they would spray it with Febreze, which I didn't really want. They said the only other thing they could do is move us to a room with a king bed, which I didn't want because I don't want to sleep in the same bed as my son and have him kick me all night. I'd say the pictures were misleading. The smell of marijuana was pretty prevalent around the property most of the time. (Not a big deal, but when it's just constant, it gets a little irritating.) The room was definitely dated. I get it, I'm paying a good price, but I would not stay there again and feel like it was misrepresented on the site.

    Beds were pretty flat and springy. The door did not have a lock at the top. Making the stay feel unsecured. Pool was very large but was ice cold in 86° weather. Room had a faint bleach and mold smell. The only thing stopping me from rating it 1 star would be the fact that the room we stayed in was bug free. The young man working the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The older lady however was unpleasant.

    Rooms were very out dated was somewhat ok with that but the room was dirty,the carpet had lots of stains,the room smell like they sprayed straight bleach to cover it up,the pantry sliding door was of the hinges,the balcony had bird and dirt everywhere we couldn’t even enjoy it when you try to open refrigerator it literally moved two or three feet very hard to open,and there were items in the freezer from previous renters and sorry to say that just a few things that wasn’t right!!!

    I booked a reservation with them online when I got to the hotel that I booked a reservation. My paperwork was nowhere to be found. It was 12 o’clock at midnight I had two kids and my brother I have a find another place with more expensive they took half of my money out of my bank account and I’ll pay for a different hotel that was very inconvenient. I’m trying to get in touch with them at Expedia customer service number. They’re not able to find me. I told him they can find me with my number she found me she could not find me by email and then when she found me, she told me she could not help me that I had to call another phone number is so inconvenience. I do not recommend Expedia to nobody. I do not care what you’re traveling to.

    Clean room, well stocked. I would recommend getting a tech expert to check out the TV. It was malfunctioning like a computer that crashed. The #7 on the remote control was automatically coming up as if someone kept pushing it, and couldn't change channels. Not a big deal for me as it was late and I was tired anyway, but you might get the wrong guest who flips out about it.

    I know this hotel has made some nice improvements lately—better beds and better customer service overall—but our stay in Room 634 was a letdown. The room had a strong, funky smell from the moment we walked in. We reported it to the front desk, and although they said they would address it, nothing was done. It was Thanksgiving, so maybe they were short-staffed, but we still expected better. We ended up buying our own Lysol and Febreze just to tolerate the room. For over $360 for 3 nights, that shouldn’t have been necessary. On the positive side, there were no roaches and no major issues besides the odor. A late update. The king gentleman and lady at front desk helped us by changing room. Thank you for making it right.

    Stay was great!! We stayed in a lakefront suite. Staff was helpful and very polite from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeepers! The only discrepancies in the room was hard pillows and the wifi kept going in and out so we couldnt watch tv, however we didnt do much watching of tv anyway! The bloody marys and spinach empanadas were amazing! Calamari had good flavor however was alittle chewy. Overall our stay was a 4 out of 5 stars. We would recommend this hotel to others and plan to return in the future for sure!

    The assigned room had inhabitable conditions to rest with my family. My daughter had an episode of asthma because of a very strong mold odor.The walls of the building were black because of mold. The building was solitary.When I went to leave the room key the security man Robinson told me that I could leave the keys and gave me a list of hotels near because of the situation,he knew about that building. He told me the receptionist told him that the building had a huge problem. I solicited a total refund, because i left the key card and left the same day, but the receptionist told me that i had to send an email to the manager. i hope someone answers soon and the total refund.

    It was an older resort yet our room was squeaky clean, quiet and was a very nice stay on a budget. We had a living room, kitchenette (no stove) and a dbl bed room. Had a pantry, medicine cabinet two closets in the bedroom and a balcony on a pond. Pool area was a little u kept but had nice bathrooms with a dbl shower, a tiki bar and a restaurant.

    We were in town for a concert at the iThink Amphitheater, which is only about 3 miles down the road. We just needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning and it was perfect for the price! I was a little afraid booking it, because it wasn’t one of the major chains that we are used to staying at. Although the room was a little dated, the area felt very safe and the staff was friendly. We did not get to use it, but the pool looked very nice.

    This place looks way better in photos than in person. We booked it due to the reviews and photos. The place is kind of ran down. The room smelled of mold. The room also had spilled liquids beside/ under one of the beds, so it wasn’t very clean. One positive was the location.

    There was strange eldely man just hangout in his car the whole afternoon then again in the morning. Would have car on with a motorcycle on parked next to him the whole day. Parked in our build that we stayed at. Felt uncomfortable walking out.

    We picked this location based on being close to the fairgrounds for a special event. I would like to say first the staff was extremely professional, and they were very nice! BUT…. The first room we were given had an infestation of bugs, poop droppings, and what appeared to be bed bugs. The window was also unsecured and would not lock. It was broke open. Pictures were taken and notified the front desk. We were moved to room 2 which now getting back late Friday night… found the ac was broken. Sleeping all night in hot conditions. We were finally moved to room 3 which had no issues for our final night. This place is musty and could use a renovation. Again, the staff was nice and helpful.

    I booked room for 3 adults with 2 beds and had my receipt to prove this. When we entered the room it was small with only one bed. I went to front desk and was told they were full, even though the parking lot was empty. Ultimately they did end up giving me the room I booked. Bit of a hassle, not really that much of an issue with this hotel, only stayed one night, I may stay there again, but will NEVER again make a reservation using hotels.com.

    If youre on a fixed budget then I would rent a room here. But if you want to be comfortable I would pay a little more. Not the best not even the worst. But I would definetly try hard to find a more sutiable place to stay at.

    I was there for one night on a business trip. Front desk employees at both check in and check out were friendly and both processes were easy and fast. The bed and linens could have been a bit nicer/updated but overall the room met my needs. My only complaint was the noise. The air conditioning unit was very loud and unfortunately the people in the room above me were extremely loud and I did not get a good night sleep. Floors in the room where hard versus carpet so I heard everything from above me all night.

    Clean and bug free but shows signs of needing an update. Everything worked in the room except the landline phone. Internet was not fast but ok for email and general browsing. AC worked well but was louder than normal and emitted a mildew oder that stopped when unit was switched off.

    The hotel looks NOTHING like the photos. Our room was in a long hallway (outdoor staircase) sandwiched between Big Rig Parking and a large gas station. We had a freeway out our window and our room was above a Pizza Hut. The cars on the road were loud, the people outside the fast food place under us were loud and the AC was horrendously loud! The sheets felt wet when we crawled into bed and we were worried about our safety. Luckily we had only booked one night. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay! The photos are nothing like what is actually there.

    It’s not fancy but it’s a well appointed clean room. I like the kitchen area and the fact that the room had 3 sinks. That helps with family. Kitchen sink, bathroom sink and vanity in room. They also had plates and cups and silverware.

    This property was surprisingly great. The room was dated but was very clean and spacious. I loved the view from the balcony and there was plenty of parking. I wish we would have stayed longer to enjoy the pool, it looks really nice although it was a little dirty. I loved all the decorations around it, and the cute little restaurant beside it. Overall, for what I paid, I thought it was a great deal. Only negative about this property was the front desk staff, who are extremely rude. When we asked for towels because we reserved the room for 6 people and they only provided us 3 towels I was told I had to go down to the front office to get them, and also to collect the bedding for the sofa sleeper that was not in the room. They treated me as though I was an inconvenienced to them for asking for necessities that should have already been in the room. Management should consider better training on hospitality. I worked in the hotel industry and would have fired both the male and female worker that day had I been in charge. They were not polite at check-in, they provided no information about the property ( wifi password, c/o time, etc), and were unfriendly in their demeanor. They are giving an otherwise nice property a bad name, by the way they treat customers- for this reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
