Room was very clean. I love the breakfast, pool, coffee, and the staff were very friendly. Had a nice chat with the lady who works evenings. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
The Hampton in worked out well for us. We needed a nice business style hotel. Everything was clean, the staff was great, and we appreciated the free buffet breakfast. The refrigerator and microwave in the room were nice to have. There were plates and utensils at the front desk at all hours as well as coffee and water always available. One evening we saw that there were chocolate chip cookies too.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, very average breakfast. Pool was clean & refreshing. The gym, while not big is excellent .
- 4/5
Breakfast eggs were not good at all
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have EV plug ins, unfortunately they were out of service during our stay. Check with property if this is a requirement for you.
- 4/5
Good room, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast. Not happy with Hilton charging extra for parking
- 5/5
Perfect. Every front desk employee and housekeeper gave us a smile. Such a great place to stay for our son's sac state graduation weekend! Thank you all.

I stay here all the time when I visit Sacramento and the rooms are clean and the staff is nice. Lack of security

Beds were very comfortable and room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Younger guy at front desk was rude and unprofessional. I arrived 2 minutes early and he said he couldn’t help me because l was 2 minutes early.
- 4/5
First impression of the area… was worried about noise from the freeway. Luckily, there was none! Parking was a bit limited but managed to get a spot not too far from the main doors. Front desk clerk, Jordan, was friendly and polite, and we were able to get an early check in. Thank you Jordan! Only one elevator but the hotel didn’t appear to be super crowded so no issues having to wait on the elevator or it be too crowded. The room and bathroom were clean. Temperature control was great! Not as much water pressure in the shower as I would’ve liked but no big deal. My only complaint, and this has NOTHING to do with the hotel, was the group of high school kids staying there for what I assume was a sporting event. Some of the students occupied the room next to ours. At about 10pm, they were running and yelling down the hallway and crashed into their room. Fortunately, the adult chaperones were quick to address the situation. Silence for the remainder of the night. However, at 6:30am, the same kids decided to blast their music. This time, I had to contact the front desk. The gentleman, whose name I did not get, was kind and said he would handle the noise. Music was off in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Sir! Check out was easy… just dropped the keys in the box and said a quick good morning and goodbye to Jordan at the desk. We don’t travel to this area often, however, should we need to in the future, this will definitely be the hotel of choice.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great location. Close to an event I was attending. Quiet room. Nice amenities.
- 5/5
Breakfast was mid. But good
- 4/5
The hotel is near a busy highway. I was in a ground floor room in the middle of the main building. It was a little noisy for me. I live in a very quiet area. A room at the back of the property might be better choice. The whole property was very clean and maintained.

Great stay
- 3/5
This stay was average overall. The pool area does not include a jacuzzi, and parking should be included with the reservation. I like the Cal Expo area and was hoping for a better experience at this location. The double bed suite was the highlight of the stay. Staff service was inconsistent, with some being more accommodating than others. The breakfast was decent.
- 3/5
The hotel was just alright. The walls were paper thin. We could hear conversations, tv's, coffee makers, it was pretty loud. The staff were nice, no complaints there. The breakfast was good and the gym was clean. The beds weren't comfortable at all they were a bit too hard for me and the pillows were way too soft and small for a king mattress. They charge for parking ($10) which I think is so stupid because were paying to stay there i assume it would be included. We had to add an additional night & they charged me twice. The parking fee isn't crazy expensive so I wont call and make a fuss but, i thought that was ridiculous. Overall the hotel overall was clean and suited our need for the three nights we stayed.
- 2/5
Soundproofing, rude guests and bad cleaning. Plus toilet didn’t flush properly.
- 5/5
Breakfast
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and my room was really spacious. Staff was very and friendly. I would definitely stay here again
- 1.5/5
Costumer service was horrible. The surrounding area was sketchy
- 5/5
Excellent.
- 2/5
I’m always amazed that chain hotels that are supposed to be professional in the sleep business neglect so many aspects of it. Parasite lights (clock, microwave, etc). This room had a huge gap at the door with the light of the corridor beaming into the room at night. AC making a jet sound when starting with weak cold air that could not maintain proper temperature. To say the least I did not spend a quality night of sleep.
- 5/5
Quiet location, great daily room cleaning service. Loved the hot breakfast. Beds comfortable and clean room. Not really any walkable restaurants close by. I prefer driving ie safer. Sac has interesting people walking the streets. This area seemed safe. They have security that patrols.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was nice, breakfast available at 6 AM is great
- 4.5/5
It was clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was very accommodating when we asked for the ground floor room because we have a dog. Very expensive for a 3 star hotel. The dog fee was exorbitant $75 for a one night stay. Too many taxes.
- 3/5
Front desk clerk at check in on Friday was rude to my aunt
- 1/5
This was a horrible experience. It was hard to sleep because you can see the light from the hallway outside your room inside the room. Making it so your room isn’t dark. The breakfast was gross. The pastries were cold and the scramble eggs weren’t cooked all the way. The person at the front desk that day was not friendly. I asked for an extra blanket and I had to go and get it myself. Will not be returning and do not recommend. I want my money back to be honest.
- 5/5
The room was very clean too.

- 5/5
Nice and cozy spot
- 5/5
Staff was great from night I came in until I left. Everyone was very helpful and always asking if I needed something if was near the front entrance/lobby. Staff, cleaniness, food, and gym.
- 5/5
Helpful. The facility was very clean and neat.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice and friendly staff

Clean decent breakfast No. Complaints

The staff are pretty rude and even though the place is nice enough it’s just overall Norman great area and the customer service really lacks
- 4.5/5

Everything
- 5/5
Clean, staff was friendly, good breakfast
- 3.5/5
The surrounding area is very sketchy and causes the safe feeling to go away. The hotel is able to make you feel somewhat safe once inside - then feels not okay to leave and experience the surrounding area.
- 5/5
Excellent and easy
- 4/5
Quick check in You can hear traffic and cars driving as if windows were open ,
- 5/5
We traveled to Sacramento for my son’s Taekwando Tournament. The hotel/room is clean and it smells good.We enjoyed the buffet breakfast ( egg patties, sausage, oatmeal, pastries, muffins, toast, juice, coffee/tea, waffles..and the staff is nice too.
- 5/5
Easy check in room was clean, front desk service was exceptional Adam at the front desk was awesome!
- 5/5
Room was spacious, gorgeous, and in excellent condition. My most minor of nitpicks: Pillows were small! Other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

- 5/5
Good basic hotel nothing fancy
- 5/5
Location; rooms, lobby area, through out the hotel was very clean. People were very nice; minor downfall was one of my room wasn’t ready on time (about 30mins after check in time) but I had the comfortable lobby area to wait in. Maybe a more bigger swimming pool area- it was a bit crowded when we were there with my kids.
- 2/5
The room was nice. The service was not.
- 4/5
Cons: The thermostat in the room automatically switched from heat to cool, which meant, for instance, that if we set it on 73 to get the room warmer, then decided the room was getting too warm so we changed it to 72, the AC immediately came on and blew really cold air. The louvers on the unit were not adjustable and blew right on the bed only a couple feet away. Just a comment: I know it's become a common thing, but I really hate being charged for parking.
- 1/5
Foundation of Hotel is shifting and bathroom door would not latch. Staff was not willing to help. I promise that I was polite!! Will never stay here again- there are 6 hotels within .25 miles- lots of better options.
- 4.5/5
No food nearby
- 3/5
The bed was pretty hard and the pillows were so small
- 5/5
we booked accessible room..very easy to use, large size room and bedroom and importantly it is on 1 st floor..THANK YOU
- 1/5
Accused me of stealing a pillow and charged me $100 when I never took the pillow
- 5/5
A parking lot should be free for customer using a hotel ,is unfair charging a fee 10 dollasr per night, and too many station for EV.changed.with out using it.
- 0.5/5
Terrible location. Car broken when their lot "security" went home at 4am. Do not stay here.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff. The pillows were not comfortable. The bed was comfy, but the sheets were not breathable material. Enjoyed the room, and modern decorations. The hotel was close to many restaurants and businesses.
- 5/5
no comment
- 4/5
Nice safe neighborhood. Chose it for the electric car chargers. Neither we tried worked, so that was disappointing. Strangely they gave us a room with a taped up broken mirror.. Luckily the kids weren't traveling wirh us. This would be a problem for families with young children. Good breakfast for free.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 1/5
Horrible service, I made reservations in advanced for the JALO fest and the day off thwy canceled my reservation, the “Managers” exact words where “I HAD OTHER PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME WHO NEEDED THE ROOM” mind you I dont live in the area I drove over 2hrs to get there just to be told our room was given to someone else AHBI IS THE ONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE THE MANAGER HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
- 4/5
Stayed one night for my son’s golf tournament at Haggin oaks. Great location close to the golf course. Free breakfast is a plus for a good start of a tournament day.
- 5/5
The rooms was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful! I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
- 5/5
No
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.
- 3/5
The room smelled like dog. We had to open the window and run the ac to air it out. The shower was lukewarm the whole stay. They said they’d check and gave me an runaround about how to work the shower handle that did not work. Breakfast was good, beds were good. But charging for parking at a Hampton? Cmon!
- 4/5
The only thing I really didn't like was that I was given an adjoining room when I didn't have anyone to share the next room with. However the people next door where extremely loud and they keep opening their doors and slamming them whenever they close them. They keep us awake when we wear trying to rest. Overall the place was ok, the other thing is be ready to pay for parking which I didn't see that it was disclosed in the description of the hotel. But overall great place.
- 4/5
Pool was closed, parking fee is annoying
- 4/5
Good place
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
Everyone was great ! Was disappointed that the pool was not available with having kids .
- 4/5
Good breakfast-
- 4/5
Great property
- 5/5
Everything was very good nice stuff quiet I liked
- 4/5
I forgot to mention at the front desk. Our bathroom lock didn't lock. Chopsticks were found on the floor on our check in day. We asked room service for more towels but they told us to ask the front desk for more. I'm assuming that's the policy. The batter was low for the waffle maker and staff didn't want to make more. But they did manage to give us enough to make a waffle. With so many guests eating breakfast the batter should be checked periodically so it doesn't run low. Other than that we had a good stay.
- 5/5
The staff person at the desk named Jordan was rude and not accommodating at all. I arrrived a couple hours rarly needing an early check-in and they informed me there were no room readily available and that I needed to wait a few hours. I've stayed at this propert before and the service was remarkable. This was absolutely unacceptable.
- 3/5
Check in was great. Staff was extremely friendly. Could not sleep because of noise from hallway. Around 2am loud music and slamming doors kept us from sleeping.
- 5/5
My 2nd time staying here and it is always a pleasure to see how clean and how friendly the people are
- 5/5
I appreciate the staff, Hampton always has great people working for them. Jordan at the front desk was especially accommodating.
- 5/5
Good room lighting, great to have shower doors instead of a shower curtain, very clean. Lots of amenities.
- 5/5
It’s a nice hotel and the staff was knowledgeable and the breakfast was pretty good! Would stay here again if I needed another hotel!
- 5/5
Clean, near our event. Breakfast was great@
- 1/5
Upon checking in, front desk staff had no record of our reservation. It took over hour talking with Expedia agent, being on hold and the 3rd party booking dipshit to finally check in. A total waste of time and stress!!!! Expedia did nothing in the way of compensating our time and am completely disgusted with the lack of customer service and lack of detail.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
I didn't like paying to park. The breakfast was good
- 5/5
Overall property is good, but the parking fee for a location with easy parking is a negative. The lower floor can easily hear the people on the top floor running.
- 4/5
The property was well-kept and clean. A parking fee wasn't quoted or mentioned on the Expedia site, but it is $10 a night for your own vehicle. There's a nightly patrol around the parking lot, but that wasn't information disclosed during check-in. Nice surprise.
- 3/5
Our room was nice and large. The staff at the front desk was very nice. The included breakfast is only open until 9:00 and was average. The pool was not open. This was one of the things our kids were looking forward to. We should have been notified that it was closed and drained before we came.
- 4/5
Great staff. Easy affordable and conveniently located to the freeway for work commute.
- 5/5
It was a very clean and enjoyable room. The amenities were nice. Staff was nice. The wife and I were happy.
- 4/5
Room was very clean. The only thing i didnt like is the room doors slam closed. Its rough when you are sound asleep
- 2/5
Bed and pillows are externally uncomfortable. It was very noisy. No one in our party of 4 got any sleep. The rooms were very clean but the bedding is not soft. The lady at the front desk was very nice.
- 5/5
Stayed here with family for a concert we were attending this hotel was very nice clean and the breakfast was surprisingly good I will be staying here for now own when we travel for business anyone seconding guessing no worries this is a great hotel stay.
- 3/5
Sheets were too small for the king size bed we informed the maid staff and they still were unable to provide better fitting sheets that didn’t come unhooked from mattress corners while sleeping & bath towels were crappy quality & we were charged at the property to PARK in the hotel parking lot WHY WOULD A PAYING CUSTOMER HAVE TO PAY TO PARK THERE.. we did not see this extra parking charge when we booked through Expedia.. definitely not worth basically $200/ night to stay there
- 5/5
Thank you. We were very comfortable
- 4/5
Nice updated property. Don’t like how they have added 20’sh electric car charging stations, closest to the entrance
- 1/5
Horrible front desk. I travel a lot and am used to front desk clerks having a rough day. However, this clerk was rude and condescending. Worst check in experience ever. Hotel was not the usual quality of Hampton either.
- 5/5
Our view was horrible, an entire week looking at nothing. The mattresses are super firm and can be rather painful after a few hours of sleep. Pillows are non existent, they’re flat and better off without a pillow. Definitely needs new pillows and a mattress that’s not so firm. Nevertheless we got stuck in the room above the hotel entrance and could hear the sliding doors. The freeway is so close to the hotel that you have a constant noise. Employees were great and willing to assist that made the stay pleasant. The evening registrar person was a plus she was excellent.
- 5/5
Was a great place to stay while my wife had surgery at Mercy San Juan. The provided breakfast was really good too. Staff is very kknd. And courteous
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet and smelled of Christmas. I love it.
- 4/5
easy location to get to .
- 2/5
Overwhelming smell of potpourri or air freshener or something super gross in the lobby. Body odor smell in room. Couldn't open window in room. Dirty carpets. Appears to be a recent remodel so room furnishings in good condition, but yuck. Keurig didn't work. At breakfast, completely stale almost rancid almonds offered for oatmeal. Fitness room disorganized and peloton bike felt rickety with foot straps broken. Just overall never again.
- 4/5
Very clean room, but noisy environment. Door slamming throughout the night. Limited sound insulation between adjoining rooms. Morning breakfast offerings were very good.
- 5/5
Good front desk staff
- 4/5
Wonderful staff and very clean facility.
- 4/5
Nice propery, pleasant staff. Coukd not change room thermostat
- 4/5
We had a nice stay except for my hotel key kept getting de-magnetized, which was very inconvenient and upsetting, besides that the room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
I still have no received my receipt, but they definitely charged my card and over drafted my bank account because of the additional parking fee that no one mentioned. It’s a safe and clean place to stay, just keep track of your finances while you’re there and don’t expect anyone to care about your stay.
- 5/5
Great value, rooms were clean and what o needed for the price i was looking for.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and comfy bed. The staff was very nice and pleasant.
- 5/5
It was a relaxing stay, room is clean and there was no issue with parking, the location is very convinient too since its near the freeway.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 3/5
Due too the parking lot layout - there are 2 rows of side by side parking, one nose into the building, the other nose away from the building. Electric vehicle charging stations had been installed on 10-12 of the “nose away” parking spots nearest the door. As we arrived about 8:00 PM, there were no electric vehicle spots being taken, and a single electric vehicle was parked taking up a spot for gasoline vehicles. Signage indicated a gasoline vehicle parked in an electric vehicle spot would be towed - yet there was nothing indicating similar for an electric vehicle parked in a spot for a gasoline vehicle. When we got to our room, the TV welcomed us - but when attempting access to. The regular TV channels, there was an issue with video “synching” that made it impossible to view channels. Fortunately, yet it took 2 people to get it fixed, after an hour and a hard reboot, the TV issue was resolved and my wife and I could settle in for the needed rest after a full day of travel.
- 4/5
The property was easily accessible from the freeway
- 5/5
The staff was polite and very helpful. The rooms were very clean. My stay was overall a very pleasant.

The room was very clean. The air conditioning during the very hot week worked almost too well as the room remained chilled (my wife’s preference). Something had spilled on our bed after the maid service had come around, so we informed the front desk and they sent a young lady up right away to change all of the bedding. Parking was a bit of an inconvenience. For two of the nights we had to use the parking lot of the hotel next door because the small lot was full. Half of the lot was taken up by EV hook ups, of which only a couple were being used at a given time. Besides the issue of the room key and the parking, everything else was excellent. We would stay there again if we were in town.
- 5/5
The hotel room in lobby were clean and comfortable. The pool area was also well-kept and fun for the kids.
- 5/5
Nice facility
- 5/5
Very nice receptionists
- 5/5
Was nice except we asked for a wheelchair accessible shower and didn’t get it. They brought a shower chair but that was too big for the shower. Otherwise it was a nice stay. The girl that checked us in was awesome.
- 3/5
Was a nice room, breakfast was ok. But what surprised me was the charge for parking.
- 2/5
The property and room were great! With that said we are travelling from LA to Minnesota, we made the reservation online and arrived around 10pm. We were told we would not be allowed to stay, the system was down. After proving I had emails and records for payment they wrote down my information and let us have a room. Staff was lacking in the hospitality even with proof. We have now stayed in 2 more hotels on our way back to Minnesota unfortunately this one was the worst.
- 1/5
Good
- 3/5
The night staff Sam was extremely disrespectful and rude. Poorly trained. Does not know what customer service and hospitality means. There was issue with payment from Expedia and kept telling me “not my problem. It’s your problem” and give me a blank stare. Never have i experienced this disrespectful treatment. Maybe he needs to learn from cleaning toilets before greeting guests. Or this is not the line of work for him. He needs to seek another profession where he doesn’t interact with patrons or customers.
- 3/5
Typical Hampton Inn. Excellent breakfast. Very disappointing that there was an unexpected fee for parking.
- 5/5
The facility is beautiful. It looks like it is in process of a remodel. Easy access to the freeway and the staff was very nice. My only complaint is the excess fees for parking and pets was not disclosed in the reservation.
- 5/5
Stacey at the front desk was very nice! The room was comfortable I would have given 5 stars but we had to air out the room when we arrived it had a body odor smell.
- 1/5
First, they charged us upon arriving although I had already paid through Expedia. Second, they changed our room twice and once they found us a room we went to our room and they was people checked into out room. Big safety and security issue. I hope they dont hand the key to a someone’s else room to the wrong person. And lastly, they charged us for parking.
- 5/5
The room was super nice and clean staff friendly definitely I would like to come back again 😊
- 5/5
No complaints
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The entrance is a bit hard to find at night but it's right off the freeway and good size parking lot. their room was clean, better then expected, comfortable bed and I enjoyed the weekend stay, will be back here next time i am in Sacramento
- 4/5
This is the second time I have stayed at this location. It is easy to get to, central to many locations and in a quiet area. The area is industrial, so it is not walkable. The breakfast in the morning is a great addition. Their recent remodel is nice. Staff supper friendly.
- 4/5
The front desk personnel were fabulous and they were able to let us check in early.
- 4/5
Nice room
- 3/5
Looked like it is in the process of being remodeled. There were pallets of building materials out front. Hallways had a strong smell like fresh paint or carpeting or both. Terrible water pressure in the shower and only warm when turned full to hot.
- 1/5
It smelled at the lobby. Help was horrible parking was trashy and when we got to our room it was filthy - we had got the suite there was a shirt on the floor empty bottle on the bed jacuzzi with water and dirty - when we called front desk they were just like oh we can’t accommodate you almost like it was normal to have that problem most horrible experience ever
- 3/5
Will not stay again, probably won’t stay the night. The noise from the road is horrendous, we can hear the cars shifting so well that no one can sleep.
- 5/5
Convenient to auto dealership when major repair was required. Facilities were in very good condition. You had to go across the parking lot for a full breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express. May be a temporary thing. There were some 'to go' bags for those not wanting the meal.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were very accommodating and were ready to take care of any issues .
- 5/5
But no decaf coffee at breakfast downstairs? I asked and they said they didn't have any. Kind of shocked. That's pretty standard.
- 4/5
The hotel failed to mention that there would be construction on the building (they were literally working right outside our window). The breakfast was great.
- 5/5
It was good
- 3/5
No one at the front desk to greet me. Waited, with others, about ten minutes. Then when she did come out, she wasn’t happy. No local TV broadcasting? Just wanted to relax and watch the football game. Nope. Was able to stream on my iPad. Hotel was under some renovation. Breakfast was just okay.
- 4/5
Found a hair in bathroom! Where blow dryer is.
- 2/5
The lobby and hallways were under construction in mid August!!! We were surprised why do it still in summere vacation time and not wait for Sept.? Lots of workmen tearing up concrete to put ne flooring, making dust & debris and noise.
- 3/5
The rooms were very nice and clean as the whole place was recently modeled. That said, the made us pay for parking at $10 a day which is fine but this is a road side hotel and paying for parking seemed pretty silly. Breakfast was normal for a hotel like this but I have also had much better at similar hotels.
