This hotel was in a good location for a one night stay with our family. Walking distance to restaurants. Room was clean and good options for breakfast.

It was decent I had no real problems but not having towels in my room.

Nothing. The hotel had a weird smell. I switched rooms and still had the same disgusting smell sort of like old boiled eggs.

We were tired traveling so sleep was the only goal with a shower. Floors were very dirty walked from shower to bed and wiped my feet on a white towel which came up muddy dirty. Shower pressure was fantastic for my long hair. Wasn't looking for the Ritz but was better than motel sketchy.

The front garbage can at entrance was overflowing. I know this is due to people being too lazy to walk right inside but it did need to be addressed.

Staff Diane was very sweet Room was a little dirty. Surfaces were sticky, floors needed swept found cups under the end tables. Air conditioner/ heater was very loud.

The front desk is not manned early morning, 6:00 am. If checking out early, you just leave your keys. There is no body there to check you out. Continental breakfast starts at 7:00 am on the weekend. To me, that's an hour too late. Our day started at 6:00. We had to leave early and buy breakfast. No grab bar in the bathtub. To me, that is a safety concern. Road noise was horrible, which the hotel can do nothing about.

The coffee in the breakfast area was pretty good, not bitter or dry. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. check-in was quick and easy. I will definitely be back. I know the hotel cannot help outside noise levels, but our room faced the main road and at night the traffic sounded like thunder. The room had sheers and heavy drapes on the window, but only the sheers closed. I suggest bringing a sleep mask if you need complete darkness and maybe earplugs if noise is an issue. Once I fell to sleep, I slept like a baby.

Overall, rating was based on the lack of cleanliness of the shower (hair on the shower walls), the poor reception of the TV (verry glitchy), and the rattling of the AC unit and the refrigerator (both of which made it extremely difficult to sleep through. It was quiet (neighbor wize) otherwise, parking was pleasant, and the hot breakfast was good.

The front desk clerk was very rude and not helpful. I'm a choice privilege member and she treated me very badly. She said the motel was full and there were 7 cars in the parking lot. The sheets had stains on them and the room smelled musty. Same as above. I didn't like my stay at all. I normally have a pleasant experience with your place but this time was horrible.

The air conditioning in the room couldn't cool the room. Every time we adjusted it went back to 74. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. At checkout, the agent was on the phone, just reached for the key card and kept talking. I felt disrespected. Didn't get a chance to tell her about the room or breakfast. Breakfast was a big disappointment. The food was cold. There were no eggs left, and it was 9 am. Breakfast went til 10 am. When I told the girl that the food was cold, she shook her head like I was wrong and didn't believe me. I stay at Comfort Suites a lot, and breakfast is always good.

The room was nice and roomy as well as very clean and presentable. My children loved the light up mirror in bathrooms. The fact that you have a pool and are walking distance from so many businesses was nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Only down side I had was parking lot spots were a little small, hard to get in and out of car due to small spaces and the lack of people knowing how to park straight.

Close by where I am working and it’s near restaurants and stores. It was good. I think the room could have been a little cleaner. It wasn’t bad there were just a few small things like the floor looked like it could have used sweeping and mopping. Again it wasn’t bad but that could be the difference between good and great.

Mold on ceiling, clogged bathroom sink I had to brush my teeth in the shower. Half the curtain wouldn’t close. However, Comfortable bed. No bugs. Plenty towels and wash clothes. Breakfast?? No eggs at 8am, 2 sausages left and water dripping onto floor from the thing that keeps the food warm. The juice machine… the kiwi strawberry just sprayed out the side more on me then the cup. I decided to leave and go buy breakfast. Oh and the elevator did not work the entire time I was there.

Elevators down I had my family with me and my infant grandson and we was out in the 3rd floor. We had to walk all those stairs with out luggage and a baby!!

The elevator was broken, so the luggage had to be carried up by way of the stairs. The breakfast buffet was out of food and even though we and other lodgers waited for over thirty minutes, the only thing refilled was the pan of biscuits. We didn't attempt having breakfast at the hotel the second morning due to the issues of the previous day.

So far the elevator doesn't work, the curtain won't shut to block out noise and light, the room smells like paint as well as there is no shower curtain. Now the bathroom floor is wet. We are ill so we have no choice , but to tolerate this.

Checking in was fast & easy. Unfortunately, the elevators were not functioning, but they gave me a room on the 3rd floor just as I asked & close to the stairwell, but not adjacent to it. The room was fantastic. Spacious and as neat and clean as it could be. The traffic noise was annoying, but at least I had a room on the backside of the building. Overall it was a very good stay.

Room was clean . Location was good . TV did not work. It wouldn’t connect to internet . Couldn’t login to personal accounts . Called front desk . Staff member was apologetic but said she didn’t know what to tell us. . Reported it next morning to front desk . Staff member said she was sorry .

Room was spacious and updated. There was a dried contact lens on the divider between the sitting area and bedroom. That means that area was not dusted or cleaned. Aside from that…the rest of the room was clean. The housekeeping staff did not speak to guests or allow guests to get on the elevator first. One went as far as to position her cleaning cart so no guests could ride with her. Most hotels make sure guests can go first or at least make room for guests. We also booked and paid a deposit for a king and queen room. We were given 2 queens. That is pretty messed up. The continental breakfast was good. It was close to the polar express. We would stay again but a little kindness and honesty with providing accommodations booked goes along way.

I read somewhere that this place had been re-furbished. But I saw little evidence. Every day I had to get a fresh keycard!

The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were nice but could use some updating. The furniture was worn and there were water stains on the bathroom ceiling. Also, there was no towel bars to hang wet towels. There needs to be a visible sign to lead you to the hotel since its way in the back.

My bed was not made up either day. The floor was not swept or moped either day. My plastic cups were not replaced either day. I had to go and get my own plunger to unstop the toilet. The shower was slow to drain. There were multiple gnats flying around the room. The elevator was stuck and inoperable at one point during one day there. The room looked older than the pictures online.

The place needs a face lift. The rooms are dated and worn. Too much money for such an outdated space. The breakfast was ok but took a long time to replenish when the foods ran out before the schedule time to end.

We enjoyed our stay with family. Everything went well except for a musky smell in the room. Smelled like the floor was mopped with an old mop. We asked for air freshener which only helped temporarily.

Caulking around tub needs work. The tub drain is very slow so by the end of a short shower you are standing in 5” of water.

I got a room to get some Peace & Quiet. Whoever was beside me and across from me was loud. Slamming doors and playing music.

We booked from Aug 22-25 to be in town for a family wedding. Our stay was great until our last night. After settling our children(12,6,5) in we went outside for a cigarette. While outside we observed a construction work crew arriving for their stay. A few minutes later my oldest calls and says a woman went into our room asking her her mom's name. We immediately went to the front desk to speak with Katie. She asked if anyone has spoken to us about moving rooms which no one has. She informed us that somehow in the system they had us moved from room 316 where we had been the entire time to a room on the second floor and the room we were in was assigned to some of the construction workers. The guys were given their room and when they attempted to enter they saw my youngest and went back down to inform Katie there was a baby in the room. When she went to check she recognized my children and knew there had been a mistake. Katie was amazing and was just doing what the computer told her to do. She fixed the problem and profusely apologized for the mixup. My concern comes in where a group of men were allowed access to my room where my children were. My 12 is completely capable of keeping an eye on her siblings and knows you do not open the door for anyone. How does this happen? Who reassigns a room on the last day of a guests stay? What could have happened to my children had the men not been honest and returned to the desk to report it was occupied by kids?

Stay was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the guest laundry. The machines only took quarters $3.00 to wash $3.00 to dry which wasn’t not the problem, the inconvenience was that the hotel itself does not keep quarters for the convenience of guest laundry had to go to two different stores in order to get enough quarters to was and dry clothes other than that it was great!

The property could use some upgrades. Third floor hallway smelt like cats. Room was spacious, needs a upgrade. It was fairly noisy due to the bathroom vent constantly running. Closing the bathroom door alleviated the problem. Staff was very kind.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel bc when we were driving up we didn't know what to expect. I read several reviews so we weren't totally in the dark. The hotel lost some points for the stained and torn mattress and room being renovated on the first floor. We didn't take points for the reno but bc they could've closed the curtains. Its very off putting when you first drive up to see that. The interior of the hotel has been updated and it looks nice. The room was updated as well. We didn't give it 100 but there were minor things like the curtains were stained, the big tub was cracked in the front and the mini frig was leaking. I told the front desk clerk and she said oh it's probably defrosting you can put a towel down. You could also tell that they had painted the doors and maybe didn't use enough paint bc it was dings and chips. Overall the room was huge and clean. We stayed in the room with the big soaking tub. There was also a tub and shower in the bathroom. We did not use the soaking tub. The lobby and breakfast area were also updated. We were impressed with the breakfast selection. They had scrambled eggs, grits. Sausage. Biscuits and gravy, cereal waffles (they had strawberry and regular), bagels and toast and yogurt and apples. They also have fresh cookies in the evenings. We didn't try them but I was told they were very good by some in our group. There's a couple of restaurants right down the street in walking distance. There are tramsient

Check in was a breeze. Close and ample parking. Nice sized room with very comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. A/C worked great. Lots of counterspace. Large bathroom. We especially enjoyed the small, extra touches provided: a local city postcard with pen; regular and decaf tea bags included with the usual regular and decaf coffee bags and plenty of supplies for making (napkins, sugar, creamer, stirrers, etc.); and complimentary cookies, coffee and iced lemon water station in lobby. We didn't partake of the complimentary breakfast, but, observed plenty of options for food and many folks were enjoying it. Plenty of dining space. Right off I-85 and lots of dining options right at the hotel. Highly recommend this for your next stay in Salisbury, NC!

While we did not have a major issue, there were a large number of little things that were below expectations. There was no soap in the bathroom. We found trash from the previous stay in the corner of the room. We had to go ask for pool towels. The couch in our room was worn and uncomfortable. We didn’t y had one washcloth. I can understand encountering a single issue, but the culmination of several things made our stay aggravating.

I did not like the fact that this is a pet friendly hotel. The staff was wonderful. It is a little older building that needs more renovations to improve the building.

The hotel was very clean. The whole 4 days was an excellent experience. We were very pleased with the flooring!! No carpet!!

The staff were nice and the room was relatively clean but the outdated room and damaged fixtures and walls were definitely not worth the price.

I stayed here a few times. Same issues upon arrival in the room here all over the bathtub hair inside of the mini fridge, rusty fixtures, sink, falling apart. Housekeeping is truly lazy and put no effort into cleaning.

I was there for just a night attending a funeral the next day. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. Would definitely come back.

Only suggestion would be bars put in bathtub and shower areas. A very safety feature. They are probably put in handicapped rooms only.

Room was clean. Breakfast was as expected! The hotel property was clean. The neighboring properties not so much! But well worth the money.

Elevator and door locks broken for entire stay. Room just appeared very cheaply renovated parking limited and access to hotel not ideal from interstate 85 and questionable area as far as safety.

The reason for the lower score is they put us on the 3rd floor and waited until we were all checked in to tell us that the elevator was broken and we had to use the stairs. Not a happy camper to say the least since we were there for an event and had a ton of stuff to bring in to the hotel. We only stayed 1 night instead of 3.

Breakfast was ok. The sausage didn't look like it was cooked all the way. Elevator was broken. Our floor in the room wasn't very clean. It needed to be mopped since it's tile. Tv remote was broken but still worked. The couch in the room was stained, didn't look very clean.

The water faucet in the bathtub was about to fall off. Caulking around shower needs to be addressed. Door needs paint in bathroom.

Kaitlyn at the front desk was nice and helped us get a needed item while we were there. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back again for another date night!

We had stayed several nights at this same hotel several years ago and it was a pleasant experience. However this property needs repairs and cleaning now. The door to our room has pry marks around the latch entering our room. Once inside, the bathroom door had a hole punched into it from the outside. The toilet was clogged and bathroom was dirty. It was an overall bad experience. We were disappointed.

There was an argument between a guest and staff when we checked in regarding a strange new policy requiring guest who live within 50 miles of the hotel to pay a $150 cash deposit at time of check on top of room price. Seems really odd and the guest was not aware of the policy until she arrived.

The receptionists at the check- in was particularly lovely and helped me figure out a problem I was having with a previous nights stay. Nice employees is key.

Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper and they give you a room on the highway side. We had zero sleep, sounded like trucks were running through our room. AWEFUL

Friendly staff.

The hotel was fine, but it's located right off the expressway so the noise is really loud. We had 2 live “stink” bugs on the floor. Not sure how they got to the 3rd floor inside the room. The water was not very warm in the shower, even though it was 10:30 at night. The desk and breakfast service staff were nice.

Hall carpeting not vacuumed. Very unsightly. My room needs attention to painting. Not very professionally finished. Shower has dark mold on grouted edges. Hair dryer wall bracket broken.

This property is average. We killed several bugs in our room. We had to get our key card reset every day of our visit. There was a shade on the window but not curtain at all. So, the room was light. The room needed basic maintenance.

General area somewhat rundown.

My stay was great! After a day of traveling and spending time with family needed a peaceful night rest. And that's what I got a comfortable, peaceful night's rest. And the breakfast was on point!

The customer service was great! Melissa L was very helpful throughout our time we stayed and let us know all the information needed while we stayed. We appreciate all your help and look forward to visiting again in the near future! Happy New Year Melissa and all the staff there!
