The building is very old BUT it’s gorgeous inside and smells wonderful!

The place is very fancy and pleasant, the customer service is always excellent, and the valet parking is very friendly and efficient. As for the room, it's very cozy and the bed is wonderful; I slept with the air conditioning on and the temperature was perfect.

Great staff and location My room smelled like mildew. Staff gave me air freshner but didn't help. I asked for hypoallergenic pillows and was still given feather pillows.

Aiden was agreat place to stay. The staff was friendly, the shower was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and was very clean. The oly thing I would change is that it is very loud becasue of traffic.

Great environment. I wish I would have gone to the speakeasy. The room was really nice but a little dusty. Maybe there is room for improvement in that area. But over all love this little spot. Will be going back.

There was not very many amenities but the hotel was very well maintained. The staff was incredible.

Overall, this was a great stay for the price. The hotel was not well kept as far as little things falling apart like the knob on the shower and certain lights not working. But it was clean and the bed was decent. I wouldn’t stay here again but if you want a quick little day trip or only need a place for the night it’s great!

Hotel is very nice and staff was friendly

All was good. Nice hotel. The only thing i will say is the carpets need a good cleaning. We had our grandbaby crawling all over them. When we picked him up his legs were dirty. But everything else was good.

The pandemonium outside the hotel was a bit much when the homestead won a game. A comment about San Antonio in general; they love loud cars and running them fast at night. Be prepared.

Very noisy and we could hear all the cars honking being so close to the Alamodome.

The Aiden is my new go-to spot when coming to San Antonio. The artwork, music, and decor in the lobby made for a fun vibe. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is great and very close to the convention center, or a short walk to the River Walk. The Aiden provided me with everything I needed, and I'm looking forward to coming back again.

Walking distance to the riverwalk. Valet parking was $30 a day. Bar is nice but a little pricey. Paid $16 for a small margarita. My family and I got woken up at 2am. Someone was running up and down the hall or up running around in the room above us. Check on was easy and staff was friendly. Bed felt more like they were full size beds and not queen size beds. If you want to be close to the riverwalk and expressway then this is a good hotel for you. I’d say it’s perfect for families with 2 or 1 kid.

Good location if you want to be a few blocks away from the Grand Hyatt or González Convention. Parking is tough, &25 for valet parking in their small parking lot, street parking is limited.

The property was nice for the price. The pillows on the bed were small. I wish that they had microwaves in the room and free water available. The staff was very welcoming though.

The hotel is great so is the staff but our room was on the ground floor and it was loud with lots of drunken partiers walking by and in the room above us. This isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault about the street traffic, but it was not quiet inside the hotel. So if you stay just be prepared that that’s kind of the vibe of the area.

Perfect hotel for our quick overnight stay for a concert. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the decor. Hotel was clean. Also loved they provided actual coffee cups in the rooms for your morning coffee plus a variety of kcups to choose from. And the lotion smelled great.

It was a great option after traveling from Dallas. Everything within walking distance or very cheap and fast Uber. Staff is very friendly.

Didn't be swayed by the neighborhood, it looks a little on the rough side, but it's close to the Riverwalk, and walking distance to some nice restaurants and bars! Thanks Precious for making our stay perfect!

room was nice but needed things repaired. We are not high maintenance, but housekeeping should replace towels, and the sink should not be backed up when we arrived.

No microwave in room…ice on different floor… no coffee (?) in restaurant….each Associate with whom I interacted couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Very spacious sleeping room. I would definitely stay there again.

A few things to note: the room had a faint mildew smell, the shower had some rust built up, and lastly, the person who stayed before must have shaved, because I found hairs in some places in the bathroom.

The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The parking situation was disorganized and annoying: You have to pay for valet or to publicly park the car. This hotel does not have free parking. There was loud street noise late into the night and the people on the floor above stomped around until late at night.

This place was great. I asked for special considerations while recovering from knee surgery. And they met every request. They were attentive to me and I felt like I was home. I highly recommend this hotel

The only problem we had was the 5am room call that never happened.

The hotel was nice. My room was nice and clean. They had the air on when I arrived. The location was perfect. It’s a 9 minute walk to the Alamodome and 12 minute walk to the mall.. everything was conveniently located and within walking distance. I’ll b back

Stay is good but the breakfast options are very limited and there is no transparency & only half baked info on what’s served for what you pay. Also I clearly told them no beef or pork still for their kolaches they just it’s just Jalapeno turns out it’s sausage included, they replaced it with pan cakes for free of cost, but be aware if breakfast options and definitely it’s not worth for what you pay

Esay walk to the Riverwalk. Restaurants and shops near by. Parking is valet only and limited otherwise. The Commerce St side of the building is really loud with road traffic. Especially on the 2nd floor.

The room was cleaned every day, it was super comfortable, and I loved the setup of the rest of the hotel. This is not your typical hotel experience. It was a more luxurious experience for the price of an average hotel. Definitely my go to if I come back

Room we stayed at 103 was to much noise from outside and upper room all night didn’t get any sleep…$10 coupon not worth it just go with $12.99 full meal you get good breakfast but with $10 coupon you get just one choice and it’s not even whole meal

Very clean and great location to the convention center. You have to walk under the I-35 overpass, but well worth saving hundreds verses the true River Walk hotels. Valet parking is expensive, but parking down the street at the transit center is probably doable.

Room was excellent, front desk and valet staff were amazing. My refrigerator wasn’t working and it was fixed as soon as I reported it. Cleaning was uneven: really good some days, left with no tissue and dirty towels on others. Extremely convenient to excellent dining and a 3-block walk to the Convention Center and Riverwalk.

Pros: -Room itself was super clean. All surfaces were wiped down. -Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. -The room was spacious. -Short distance from Riverwalk. Cons: -Parking is valet only $30+tip extra per night!! -It took me 15mins to hand over my keys for valet park, even though there were only a couple of cars ahead of me. They were understaffed for a Friday night, with Aiden (front desk receptionist) running back and forth between checking in guests and helping guests car valet services (the valet person was also inundated with cars) -Shower floor and toilet bowl could have been cleaner.

Bathroom was gross around vanity. A little elbow grease would fix that. The girls making out in the lobby in front of family and small kids could have been avoided if management would say something. I don’t care to see that and nor do I I think my kid should see it.

Most of the staff was attentive and friendly. I do wish that the professionalism was slightly more elevated where phones are not allowed at the registration desk. Maybe I'm old school. My room could have been cleaner, too. There were finger nail clippings and hairs on the bathroom counter, and the shower was a bit dingy. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure though. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I do wish there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The gym was great and I was very happy with the equipment. I also loved the art on the walls on the mezzanine level which I think more people should know about it!

Their lowest priced studios are small. Well equipped with kitchen cooking but small.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were all very friendly. The A/C was a bit loud and being by a major highway entrance was also a little loud. I wish I could have parked up for my two day stay because $30 a night when my car never left the premises was a bit much. That is why I stay within walking distance, to not have to drive. Everything else was great and the room was clean and very big.

Besides that, the hotel is nice and in a convenient area to get to the Convention Centre and to downtown San Antonio. The rooms are decent sized. The front desk when we arrived seem more concerned with watching her phone than checking us in and kept trying to overcharge me because she couldn't see that I had already pre-paid on Expedia. The front desk staff at check-out was very nice and attentive and let us leave our bags for a few hours before we needed to go to the airport.

We were facing Commerce St (2nd floor) and it was in my personal opinion very loud. You can hear the people walking, talking, laughing. Normally it doesnt bother me but at 2 .. 3 in the morning is not nice.

So the air conditioner was making a loud noise and I asked that they check it and nothing was done the Bed/ mattress was terrible there was some sort of loose fabric that was balled up and felt like bb’s and they didn’t do anything and at 2 am someone was stomping in the room above us so it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant

Enjoyed this hotel and its proximity to the Alamodome. The shower was apparently renovated for wheelchair access but the water ran out into the bathroom every time.

The hotel was modern and the rooms were nicely decorated. It was conveniently located to the Alamo Dome, St Paul's square, bars and restaurants within walking distance. However our room faced the street and the traffic noise was awful until past 2 am. If you stay here, bring ear plugs!

The room was very spacious and clean! The bathroom is a little small and cramped but a very nice shower!! The showerhead is high up and large with excellent water pressure. This location is convenient to downtown San Antonio. It was an easy walk to the Alamodome for a concert I was attended. The valet service was also incredibly run and much better service than I’ve had at other downtown hotels. They also park most of the cars directly on site, so it feels safe to know your car is right there.

Looks like I was charged twice. $105.63 which is the agreed price. Then I was charged $108.94???? I did not order any other services. I paid $60 for valet parking at hotel. So I am due 108.94 refund from Expedia.

We have visited San Antonio several times and this was our first time staying at the Aiden. I would highly recommend the Aiden Hotel!!! The staff was amazing and the hotel was clean.

There is a speak easy located in the hotel :) the rooms are extremely comfy and it’s walking distance to river walk and tower of America.

The hotel misrepresents itself. Before traveling I called the hotel and asked if they were in the River Walk as advertised. They said yes. But they are a half mile away. Not safe walking diatance. When checking in I asked why they brand as if they arr on the River Walk and the guy behind the counter got smart and said. "I'm not the owner, but I can cancel so I can get you off my property." I responded with, "do you think thats how your owner wants you to handle questions?". He said, "I dont know. I'm not the owner, you can leave." So we said, "Yes please, cancle the reservation you are mis-branding, and I,even called. Not honest business". This was the basis of the conversation. The clerk was so rude and defensive you couldnt even talk to him... but his attire.amd stance told the whole story, if you know what Im secretly saying. I'd never stay at that hotel.

The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. They overcharged for every small amenity and are definitely not on the riverwalk. It's quite a hike.

Everything was great

By far one of the best hotels we have stayed at in the San Antonio area. Blocks away from the Alamodome and Riverwalk. Staff were professional and nice! Not saying this will happen every time but we were able to check in early which really helped our situation. To top it off, the hotel has a secret speak easy with live music and awesome drinks. Order the Godfather. You’re welcome in advance. Definitely will stay here the next time we are in the SA.

Nice, clean and new-ish hotel, nicely decorated, good location, short walk to the river walk, friendly staff, it would be perfect stay, unfortunately it was really noisy at our room on the first floor, it was facing the road, so a lot of road noise, hard to fall asleep, the owner should invest in sound proofing windows at least on the first floor facing the street, otherwise it’s a great hotel.

Close enough to the Tower and Riverwalk. Stay here for that, but do not miss digging just a bit deeper east-side and enjoying the up and coming St Paul Square area.

The whole hotel was very unique.

Location is convenient and only a few steps from downtown. I didnt see any recycle bins and would have liked to recycle while staying here. There's a speakeasy type bar downstairs, but is only currently open Thursday-Saturday.

The ac in our room was not working correctly, the listing shows a breakfast cafe but you have to pay for everything or buy a “breakfast coupon” which is more expensive than normal food.

I like the hotels aesthetic look. It’s very pretty, clean, modern, and sleek. Loved AJ Rep at the counter. Very professional, courteous, and helpful. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back.

We loved the art that was in the area. It was an easy walk to get too the river. There were also some really nice bars and restaurants in the area that we loved. Me and my friends will definitely come back.

I don't think they clarified $30 parking per night on their Expedia page, And there's essentially no street parking within a few blocks of the hotel.

I travel a l Iot and am big on customer service. Upon arrival I was trying to work out an issue with the reservations, the gentleman at the front desk, RJ, was more concerned about stocking the snacks. He literally asked me if I could sign the screen because he had snacks to stock. There was no one behind me, but instead of helping me he was short and nice-nasty with his answers. Even when I came back to discuss the issue he was rude both times. Although the issue was resolved he didn't represent the hotel favorably. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable but there was hair on the shower walls in one of the rooms. We had a total of four rooms for our group. During our checkout the lady at the front desk and valet staff, especially Avian, were amazing, helpful, and exhibited excellent customer service worth bragging about. Wished they were there during our arrival.

Room was dirty and smelled of smoke. I was offered some spray which as we all know is not a fix. Bathroom was disgusting. Hair (not mine) all in shower and vanity. Tray to hold toiletries was filthy. I went so far as to put a towel in shower base as it was slimy. Mirror and shower doors had dirt, fingerprints and spittle it was not good.

All staff were helpful and sweet! Valet was especially kind. Room was beautiful, clean, and renovated. Shower was A+

Great value for the price! Easy 5 min walk to San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo, and tourist sites. Hotel Aiden was clean, quiet, safe, valet parking team was exceptional, and I enjoyed my free cucumber cocktail at their lobby bar. It exceeded my expectations, I recommend.

The room was large but, the hallways smelled of smoke on the non smoking floor. The shower was stuck on when I went to bathe my baby the shower that was off sprayed all over me and the floor . There was hair all inside the tube and sink on the potty and the floor little public hair like pieces. The night staff was kind and willing to help. With the shower. I was glad I have my Clorox wipes and house shoes.

We had a fabulous experience staying here. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. It's location to the Alamodome and the river walk was super quick! We will be staying again!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the decor in the lobby, very artistic, modern and clean. Staff was friendly and the checkbin process was very fast. My room 105, had adequate space with 2 queen beds and a lounger with foot stool. Pillows and bed were cozy. I drifted off quickly. I loved it. Next time I will plan for a longer stay.

This was the best experience and stay we’ve had in a long time. Everyone was nice and made us feel welcome.

I did not like the fact that there was no free breakfast and they would not let the dashers deliver to the door! The hotel however smelled amazing… my room was nice and clean, the management and staff were very polite and helpful! I would recommend friends to stay here just be prepared to pay!

The hotel was nice but parking options were not great and the room was horribly noisy, none of us slept much and we have a long drive ahead of us.

The hotel was amazing. We were attending a concert at the Alamodome and this hotel was perfect for that. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the venue. The hotel had a live do and compliments drinks which definitely enhanced our concert experience. It was clean and had a great atmosphere in the lobby. The best part of our stay was the service. We felt welcome and attended to the moment we walked in. All staff was friendly and attentive.

Location was good, restaurants and river walk within walking distance. Not a good selection on food there at the hotel.

The room quality, cleanliness, comfort, etc. was excellent. The only negative is the valet parking only. Good service but why pay for parking that’s available within the hotel property. I understand when the only parking is in a garage nearby.

The only issue was the room we had was right by the freeway and we could hear loud mufflers literally all night long. But the staff was AMAZING and very clean.

Outside Traffic and loud outside voices made it difficult to sleep.

Beautiful hotel, I loved everything about the room.

Stay for one night only but definitely will stay again here, is a short drive to downtown. But honestly I will suggest to take an uber instead, the valet parking is $30 but if you do a early request is $25, just FYI parking in downtown is kinda expensive that why I recommend take an uber.

Convenient location! Great for a staycation.

The staff is very professional and nice. A lot of tourist spots are very close by. The beds are one of the better beds we’ve tried out so far. If there’s some recommendations I would give to the hotel it would be to change the down pillows and to add in made to order breakfast menus. Just a few items nothing extravagant. If not there’s a Denny’s within walking distance.

All the employees were very proffessional and helpful for any and everything we needed. We will defitnetly recommend and stay in this beautiful place!!!!
