Room was very clean. Very accommodating for a family of 6. We had 2 queens and a sofa bed. Sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest but it was ok for 2 days. Also, no fan in the restroom after hot showers. There is construction and a train close by but it did not bother my 2 year old at all. Breakfast was decent, the lady that takes care of the breakfast was sooooo nice! Definitely recommend for families.

The staff was great & my check-in was seamless! There really wasn't a huge breakfast selection, however I'm not a huge breakfast person anyways. The room was very clean & spacious, and the air conditioning was very accommodating. It actually got cold & stayed cold the entire night. Which made for a good's night rest.

We arrived at 2am the property security let us in and we got our key right away the front desk guy was pleasant and quick. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are always a plus. Other reviews express the lack of towels. We had two bath towels and two hand towels. Which was ok. It doesn't deter me from coming back. 👍

Wasn’t sure we had the right street at first, the location is wide open but there were plenty of places near enough to walk to if you wanted to eat out. Lots of construction going on so getting there changed from day to day, and there was a train track close enough to hear and see the train, but we slept very well, so if it came by at night, we didn’t hear it. Just saying in case you have a light sleeper or a baby. Overall, we enjoyed staying there, the train or construction wasn’t so significant that we wouldn’t stay again. San Antonio is growing, there would be very few places you could stay that you wouldn’t encounter some kind of construction. Well worth the money, we would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was as expected, not huge but provided something for everyone. My room was big and clean. Towels were kind of thin and very hard & scratchy.

The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. The bed was firm, as I like it, and the sheets and spread was of exceptional quality. No bars to hold on to while entering or exiting the shower.

Staff was great and location was safe. All the traffic and road construction.

The towels in the bathroom were very thin. You essentially needed two of them. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not the greatest location along the highway with construction and lots of dust and noise. However, the price was right and we were not at our hotel very long.

Parking was available to free park anywhere, hotel could have been better especially the shower. Staff were friendly . Breakfast was gross and they barely served anything. Over all 7.5/10

This trip was a little different because we were traveling with one of our son’s friends, so we booked the larger room with the pull-out sofa bed. During check-in we were given sheets and a blanket for the pull-out bed, but we were told the hotel does not provide pillows for it. Since our son’s friend is only 11 years old, we weren’t comfortable having him sleep without pillows. Unfortunately, the only solution was to go to Walmart later that evening to buy some. Aside from that situation, the stay was fine, but it was surprising that a room designed for an additional sleeper wouldn’t include pillows for the pull-out bed. Hopefully this is something the hotel considers improving in the future, especially for families traveling with kids. We do appreciate the hotel overall and hope this feedback helps make future stays even better.

My family stayed here while visiting during the holidays and this was absolutely perfect but their breakfast selection was slim and the only thing I got was a muffin that was hard as a rock.

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable conditions I experienced during my recent stay at your Comfort Inn & Suites location and to request a reimbursement for one day of my stay. Upon entering my room, I observed red stains on the bed, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding cleanliness and sanitation. This should never occur in a hotel operating under the Comfort Inn brand. Additionally, the internet service was down for the entire two days of my stay. Reliable internet is a basic amenity that was advertised and expected, particularly for guests who rely on it for work or communication. No resolution or adequate explanation was provided during my stay. To further compound these issues, the room above mine was excessively noisy throughout the night, making it extremely difficult to rest. Despite the expectation of a reasonably quiet environment, the disturbance continued without intervention. Due to these combined failures—cleanliness, lack of advertised amenities, and ongoing noise disturbances—my stay fell far below acceptable hospitality standards. As a result, I am formally requesting a reimbursement for one day of my stay. I expect a prompt response addressing these concerns and confirming how this reimbursement will be handled, as well as what steps will be taken to prevent similar issues in the future. Staff was amazing. Amenities were nice. The water pressure was a bit weak on the first floor & the smell of chlorine from the pool lingered near the room. Otherwise a good stay.

One of our missionaries stayed there and there was no complaint they said it was a very comfortable

Very nice accommodations

The room initially had an unpleasant odor, which I believe was due to the air not being on. Once I turned it on, the smell disappeared. The beds were decent, but some of the pillows were dirty, and it seemed like the covers hadn’t been changed. Unfortunately, the worst part was discovering cockroaches in the room. Although the front desk offered to move us to another room, I no longer felt comfortable staying there.

Breakfast was missing some things and there wasn't anyone around to ask. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Everything was fine. The front desk lady couldn't be bothered the day we left and the beds were very hard. But I would stay here again and it was nice. The night shift clerk was very nice and friendly.

The hotel is under major renovations which was not disclosed when booking. Our room looked to have been half renovated. The fire sprinkler in the bathroom was covered in painters tape and painting was the only thing done in the bathroom that had been updated. There was no where to put the toilet paper, it was just sitting on the grab bar as we were in an accessible unit. There was tons of space which was great, but only one drawer to place personal items. The door to the outside of the room was not flush to the ground - it had major ridges which compromises security. The breakfast was just so so. I don’t think I’ve ever been to an hotel that didn’t have some kind of oatmeal. It was all located in the conference room due to the construction, but maybe once it’s done there will be more to offer. All of the front desk staff were very delightful and caring. Just the state of the hotel was not what we expected. With family in town, we need to find a place that we can return to and feel good about. Not sure this is the place.

Overall it was good and clean

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean but was very heavily scented from some cleaning product (enough to give me a headache). Breakfast was not great. I visited midway through the time slot and there was not enough food for the number of guests, watery eggs, broken waffle dispenser, ran out of fruit, muffins, etc.

Building looked new. PLENTY of hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast is modest but plentiful. Has a fried egg, sausage, bacon, toast, bagel, 3 types of cereal, juice variety, milk, yogurt, banana and waffles. None of the complaints in the comments are justified.

It started off a little crazy but the stay ended up being great in a good area not to far from thw flea market and food places. Will stay again.

This hotel was perfect for a quick getaway! There was security outside and it was in a quiet location. Close to expressway and quick to get in and out of town. Breakfast is light, but everything was clean.

Had to go to a funeral but other than that, our stay was great. The hotel roo. Was clean and customer service was very courteous.

Clean and basic room, bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean, carpet was clean. Fan was loud for A/C (it was warm outside). Breakfast was dreadful as eggs were rubbery and choices were limited to packaged foods. The hotel had no personality!

PROS: - The front desk staff was friendly and their customer service was on point. - The best thing about this property was night security. It was great leaving and returning (at night) and having security there to ensure your safety/car. CONS: Recommendation for improvements - Breakfast needs major improvements. - The cooked (sausage) only meat served did not look appealing/properly cooked. It looked burnt microwave, undercooked, and should not have been served. - The kitchen attendant was doing double duty, so she was not readily available when you required assistance during the breakfast time. Countertops were not wiped down quicky so had dried waffle batter/cereal on them. (Parents clean up after your children---please!!) - The kitchen attendant did not speak/understand English so requesting help was a challenge especially when people are rushing before breakfast ends. - The room was nice but could use basic maintenance checks (door lock missing a screw, clock, etc.) However, I would definitely stay at this property again b/c of the security and customer service.

Excellent place to stay EXCEPT there is a train that runs close by and our room was facing it. It blew it’s horn at 1 am every night and woke us up.

We were visiting our son at Fort Sam Houston, and this place was conveniently just a short 5 to 10 minutes away depending on traffic. We arrived early and was able to check in so that was a plus. Our hotel room was clean and crisp, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were there for a military graduation. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. The staff was excellent!

It was super clean and spacious.

We were put in a handicap room right next to the front desk. The shower allows water on the floor which is a slipping hazard. Have to be careful getting out of the shower to prevent falling. There were a lot of stains on the carpet. Bed was comfortable with good pillows. The curtain did not have blackout so sun was bright in the mornings.

I don't like being lock out of my room around 9am ish to 10 ish. Check out was until 11. No reason to lock me out.

This was my first time staying there and we will be back. We had room 208 located near the elevator but still it was quiet! The only thing was the rooms ceiling needs a touch up. The paint was falling near the AC on top. The AC was good and the breakfast menu needs to add oatmeal and boiled eggs. Thanks.
