The lady who checked me in was sweet. However it was difficult to hear her though the glass. She also wasn’t able to photocopy my ID so I had to wait over an hour to get my ID back. Once we got in our room there was no ice bucket, only one washcloth and it was sweltering. This was ok for us since it was way last minute, and it cooled rather quickly. The toilet also had issues with flushing, and on looking into the tank the flapper valve needs replacing. Other than that it wasn’t bad.

Nothing at all I want to share my experience during a recent business trip with my daughter and I. My husband was due to stay for just two nights before heading back to Austin, where he was working. Upon our arrival, I encountered a rather unpleasant situation with the elderly gentleman at the front desk. He insisted that my daughter and I sit outside with our belongings and told us he would wait for my husband to arrive around 6 PM, which I had already communicated during check-in. I questioned him, asking if he expected us to endure the sweltering 100-degree heat until then. He eventually agreed to give us a key, but instructed us to wait outside. I complied and waited patiently, but after a significant amount of time without any updates, I went back inside. Once again, he reiterated that he would wait for my husband. I reminded him that my husband would not arrive until around 6 AGAIN. Finally, after some back-and-forth, he decided to give me a key then had me sign a card. To my surprise, he then took a phone call with his son, speaking in a language I didn’t understand and putting the phone on speaker. His son questioned our booking, asserting that we only had two people listed. I explained that my husband would join us for Friday and Saturday before leaving early Sunday morning. In response, the desk clerk informed me that I would have to pay an additional $45 for him. I objected, pointing out that he would only be there for two nights. He then told me to pay $25 instead, which I did. With an air of rudeness, he urged me to go get the money and shooed me away. Once I finally arrived in my room, I was appalled by the conditions. The bed felt like it was from the 80s, with hard springs sticking out. I noticed roaches everywhere, mold in the bathroom, and old towels that were yellow with black spots. The pillows and blanket had large blood stains, and there were disturbing marks on the walls and ceiling that looked like old blood.

Fairly clean, top bed comforter is stained and dirty, bed sheet had a burn hole in it, micro fridge was noisy, manager seems stressed out, but its a decent place to stay if you bring your own pillows and a sleeping bag, quiet, but bad for night workers. No restaurants near to walk to but that stops a roach problem.

Not worth the price. Too close to highway, inconvenient to get in and out of property. Room is in decent condition, not clean but not dirty. Would not recommend. No effort is put in for comfort at all.

Not bad for a short stay. The room was reasonably clean and the front desk was friendly enough.

Was comfortable quiet little spot. Like the fact that there was no stairs. Cops showed up a few times though. And the walls could have been painted but other than that good place to lay your head

We had two rooms, our friends room with 2 beds - BOTH sheets and pillowcases were filthy with what appeared to be bodily fluids. The managers were apologetic and immediately appeared with clean sheets and changed them however, the beds were made up... Traffic in and out of rooms all night... drugs and prostitution going on. Our friends room continued to be knocked on all night with people trying to buy drugs.

The room was not clean. Chairs had stains and the room smelled dirty. The commode had a dark ring. Not very inviting. I paid a good amount of money and the Country Inn at this place was not worth it. Other Country Inns aren’t as unkept as this one.

Over priced. Paid $220 for a room worth $50. Towels were old, only one small soap, dirty carpet and really needs to remodel inside get new towels and sheets.

This was the only hotel we could find due to spring break and the women NCAA going on in town.. all hotels were priced gouging. This place which would normally be around $50 was $130/ night.. not a place we would ever stay at but was not willing to pay $250-$350 for a room per night.. shower curtain was reddish stained at bottom needed to be replaced. No microwave as stated had a smell in room very outdated and not much parking space for each room..made the best we could fir the weekend. Would not recommend only in the circumstances we faced. WiFi was hit or miss not reliable as in most hotels.. just outrageously priced for this stay... all hotels were priced extremely high due to the events going on.. there should be a law against this...

This hotel had a horrible odor, booked for one night before making a drive to North Carolina from Texas, after arriving in Texas the same day from Tennessee. Rooms odor was so bad, we slept for an hour and left, did not stay overnight.
