Reviews
The hotel staff is generally praised for being amazing, welcoming, and helpful. The location is excellent, close to the Riverwalk, Alamo, and other attractions. However, some guests have complained about the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel, with reports of stains, smells, and even insects. The breakfast is a mixed bag, with some guests praising the options and others finding it lacking.

Customer care is critical in hospitality industry. The lady that checked us in wasn't helpful at all, the cleaning ladies kept saying" no English no English " when we reported trouble opening our door to the front desk , the lady was least bothered and kept saying just push harder. Funnily we met the same at breakfast ( 3 min late and she reminded us breakfast is 6-9 am. We however had great experience with the one who checked us out and the team at the vallet desk. They were awesome, kind and very professional.

Close by to a lot of attractions. Riverwalk and Alamo. Valet only hotel but there’s a cheaper covered parking lot across from the hotel suggested by the valet itself (I believe it’s good for keeping the car in the parking garage but not for in and out privileges.) Buffett breakfast is decent but there should be atleast 2waffle maker to keep the line going. Overall it’s a good place for family stay.

The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. I want that to be the top thing about this place. The location of the hotel was very central and easily walkable for the event we were attending on the river walk and sightseeing. The room was clean overall but the couch in the room was nasty and had weird stains on it. We laid towels down to sit on it. There was also small trash under the sofa. Other than that, the stay was good. The staff were truly the best part.

First I was placed in a room with no city view like I paid for and was told all rooms were filled, but later they may have realized there mistake and changed my room. Next there’s only valet service that’s understaffed one day I waited more then hour to get my car so I went down stares and valet service was packed with people waiting for there cars so me and another guy offered to go get are own cars to speed things up so basically I valet my own car I should have gotten my $50 dollars a day service fee waved for that day. Also not a great location for kids ether the park next to it, is over run with homeless and my last night there cops were clearing it out after someone was stabbed the night before. So if you have kids I’d go somewhere else I’ve been to San Antonio multiple times and stayed around the Alamo area and the wax museum and river walk never experienced this.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, but the hotel is pretty run down. The elevator sounds like it is about to shut down while you are in it. The rooms, of which I were in two as the first one had a beeping noise coming from the ceiling, had stained carpets, flickering lights, dog chewed furniture and shower doors that were about to fall off their tracks. Avoid this place if you can.

The air conditioner was so loud I could not sleep it sounded like an electric generator was in the room constantly running. The thermostat would not go lower than 72 and it was not cooling at all. Which led to more sleepless nights. Housekeeping was good brought towels and checked on us midday, the air conditioner was the main issue I did not ask to change rooms out of concern that I might get a less accommodated experience.

We loved the location of this property! It was the perfect spot to see everything we wanted to see. Walking distance to almost everything. Breakfast was great every morning with lots of options from sausage, eggs, bacon, waffles, to cereal and yogurt. My kids loved the pool. It's not a big pool but they still enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable 7/10. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. My family and I (spouse and 2 kids) stayed a full week and had everything we needed. Room was always cleaned when we went out for the day! Would definitely stay here again.

While this hotel is conveniently located & the staff was friendly enough, the rooms need major updating. Stains on the carpet, stains on the couch, pealing paint, lumpy pillows, very dirty, toilet, & ineffective, and noisy AC all made for a fairly unpleasant stay.

The breakfast every day was amazing! They often had fruit, warm cookies, snacks, sitting on the counter for people to take. The entire staff in particular, Norma, were very helpful, pleasant and happy. Rooms were spacious; beds comfy. It was nice having a full-size refrigerator for the week. Well, our room in particular could’ve used a little maintenance. When we arrived at our room, the door was open and it wouldn’t close. The bathroom door would not close. My husband had to adjust both and at least got them so that we didn’t have to worry about open doors while we were gone. The ironing board was broke. One leg was completely off. My husband fixed that too. Housekeeping should’ve reported these issues prior to our arrival-especially the door issue.

Very convenient to Riverwalk. Hotel was fine. The staff was very helpfull. The breakfast was mid at best. Staff for breakfast was very good though. The rooms are well used with stains on furniture and carpet. End table was taped together with blue painters tap. Ok experience.
- 4/5
The room temperature was a little warm, it lets you turn the thermostat down to 68, but it definitely doesn't get that low lol with the added musky tinge in the air it was ok. However, the staff was spectacular! They made up for everything else 👍 overall good stay, for the price it could have been cleaner & more accommodating. The valet crew was great, very courteous!

- 1/5
The trash had not been taken out which is very gross. The room bed was made but this room was not cleaned very well. I do not recommend this place. I like cleanliness and if you do too this is not it. Valet was super late waited at least 15 minutes or more that’s on the lesser end. I hate that I can’t add pictures to this review. Normally you can. There is gnats in the room probably from the trash that is overfilled. They tried giving me another room but that was nasty too. The couch was disgusting and they had the nerve to tell me it’s just old. I’ve never been in a Hilton like this!!!! EVER!!! I’m sooooo disappointed. I can’t even sleep. 🙄 I can’t stand dirty stuff!!!! Especially a hotel. The fact that my newborn has to stay here too is blowing me. Let alone the rest of my children my husband and my mom!!! It’s 12 at night and I’m not about to be going from hotel to hotel with my baby trying to sleep and we from out of town so we can’t just leave!! Omg DO NOT RECOMMEND. The front seat overnight associate is the only person here he tried to help. Everything was out of his control. This place needs serious renovations! SERIOUS! They need to shut down until they get new management because no one should be here if they don’t have staff to properly clean. Honey if you sleep light you might as well be on the riverwalk all night because the air conditioning makes this obnoxious noise while it’s running! Throw the whole hotel away.
- 5/5
Front Office staff was great. We were calling them by first name because they were so helpful
- 1/5
I reserved a 2 queen bed and they gave me a king bed with sofa bed. The valet parking had a wait time of more than an hr. Service was rude.

Great hotel. It is an older hotel but very well maintained. They staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.
- 5/5

- 5/5
All sites within walking distance, even though i use a cane with my hip. Staff super friendly.
- 3/5
Clean rooms. The lights in the restrooms would turn off for a couple of seconds then back on. The plugs were loose; we couldn't charge our phones.
- 4/5
Location of the hotel was great for access to many shops, restaurants. etc. Front desk and foodservice staff were great. Eager to provide information and whatever they could do to enhance the stay. Breakfast choices were adequate and varied. Room could have been cleaner. It seems making the bed wasn't part of the cleaner's job because she didn't do it, neither was the carpet vacuumed. From the da we entered the room the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and remained that way for the entire week although the toilet was cleaned regularly.
- 4/5
Excellent location to walk to Riverwalk, Tower of America, theatre etc… We parked in the ramp across the street, very cheap instead of paying valet parking at the hotel. Staff very helpful, breakfast nothing special, normal hotel breakfast. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
The shower and handrails in bathroom were broken. Room was warm, couldn’t get it as cold as we liked. Hotel wasn’t the cleanest. Great location. We wouldn’t stay again.
- 3/5
My room wasn’t ready on time, my card key didn’t work, and had to switch rooms due to the AC not working.
- 3/5
The hotel is a great location in downtown SA. But upon arrival, we had to continue to make the block until we had a place to pull into the valet area. This happened multiple times and also had to wait to turn in keys during arrivals. Then upon check in into our room the A/C was not working, our room was not cleaned very well also- kitchen area floor felt slippery like grease had been spilt, bathroom doors had dirt or grease on them, and carpet was dirty. Maintenance came and fixed the A/C promptly but I asked for a new room since we would be staying for 4 nights in case the A/C stopped working, but was told no. I think room was filthy due to A/C being previously worked on. Then during 3rd night the A/C stopped working. In morning we were given a new room, which we should have been granted upon arrival, not 3 nights later. Also, A/C is set to not go below 68 degrees. Will not be staying again.

Breakfast was great. The location was great. The room was great. The poor temperature everything was honestly perfect at this hotel the one thing you could complain about, but it’s not really the hotel. It’s kind of just San Antonio was the parking it was Sunday so we just parked at a normal coin meter for free I had to walk a couple blocks otherwise you could pay like the 40 bucks for valet for the night But they gave us an early check-in they were very accommodating highly recommend

We checked out at 11:00 AM and realized by 3:00 PM that we had left a piece of luggage in the room. When I called, management claimed the room was already occupied and nothing had been found. We returned to the hotel immediately to speak with the manager, who was incredibly rude. She repeatedly insisted the room was empty of our belongings and flatly refused to call the housekeeping staff, claiming she "couldn't contact them after work hours." Our frustration was high because the bag contained my daughter’s essential medication. Despite the urgency, the manager was dismissive and told me to "just file a claim with my insurance." It wasn't until I told her that I was calling the police to file an official report that her story changed instantly. Suddenly, she could contact her staff after hours. Within 15 minutes of mentioning the police, she appeared with my luggage. Even after the bag was "found," there was no apology. The manager remained hostile and unprofessional. We felt discriminated against and ignored. It is deeply concerning that a hotel would claim a bag is gone until the police are mentioned. I do not recommend this hotel. If you value your belongings, your health, and basic customer respect, stay somewhere else in San Antonio
- 4/5
The room was very clean and was absolutely huge. We had just come from a cruise so we were amazed about the size of the room. The staff, especially Michael, John G, and Andre were very helpful and personable. We also were very happy with the location of the hotel to the Riverwalk and Alamo.
- 5/5
We had a great experience
- 4/5
Couch in room was heavily stained and wearing, office chair needs replacing. The variety of loud noises from the elevator made us nervous every time we needed to use them. Felt like we were pushing our luck and would end up stuck in the elevator car.

Room was clean and well kept. Breakfast was nice (they just needed to revisit the food service line setup, as it was very crowded due to the location of the waffle maker). All the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Our flight arrived early and they allowed us to check in early with no problem. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room, and a great breakfast. Located within walking distance to just about everything riverwalk. Would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
POOL IS NOT OPEN! Hotel needs to update their listing or reach out to people booking. They will offer you to use another hotel's pool if you want. Our room was clean. Facility is a little old and could use a refresh. The strong smell of cleaner kind of is overwhelming coming into the lobby. The breakfast was average - not a lot of vegetarian egg items and the bacon was in the same cabinet as everything else. Not really acceptable for people who do not eat bacon/meat. I would recommend they keep meatless items separate.
- 4/5
Breakfasr was one of thw nicer selections we've had.
- 1/5
Staff was great, housekeepers were ok not great but the floors were black with dirt and spills. Our pullout bed looked to have a huge blood stain on it. The couches were dirty with spots and stains all over, furniture in bathroom the laminate was missing. The entire 4th floor smelled like wet dog. I have never left a bad review and it’s not the employees fault. The carpets and furniture need replaced. The pool was closed the water was greenish brown (looked like sewage) I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay there again. Hilton needs to take care of this place. You walk out and there’s urine and bums everywhere lying on the ground the literal air was toxic with urine smell.. not the employees fault. I blame corporate

My son found an old hard corn dog in the closet. The light in the restroom was messing up. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. Overall it was ok. I didn’t like the breakfast set up. The orange juice tasted like water, & valet took 1 hr & a half to bring us our truck after check out. They need to have more people working especially on a Sunday morning. It was just 1 person doing everything

On the first night, the hotel required all guests to evacuate due to a fire alarm. We had to walk down nine flights of stairs with our three-year-old child. After staff confirmed it was a false alarm and allowed guests to return to their rooms, the fire alarm continued sounding for approximately 15 additional minutes while they attempted to shut it off. This caused significant distress and disruption, especially with a young child. Additionally, the air conditioning unit in our room was excessively loud throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. The noise repeatedly woke our child, who was frightened and kept asking about the sound. As a result, we were unable to rest properly. We also experienced unprofessional behavior from a front desk employee. At check-in, the staff member was rude and argumentative regarding my last name despite reviewing my identification. At checkout, the same employee made an inappropriate comment stating that Expedia had called multiple times and that it was “starting to piss him off,” while I was attempting to resolve our early departure and dispute the final night. Due to these conditions, including the evacuation, ongoing alarm disturbance, lack of sleep, excessive room noise, and unprofessional staff behavior, we left early and are disputing charges for the portion of the stay we wer

The hotel shouldn't even be open. The breakfast was limited and staff was very unprofessional and talk bad about working there. My a/c was so loud you could hear it all the way down the hall. My microwave didn't work, my sink was clogged, the couch was do dirty and had torn pippin all around the cushions. I was so disappointed especially after staying at a home2home in Greenville, SC. The coffee machine broke so they stopped providing coffee the 3rd day I was there. They would not move me to a different room because I booked thru Expedia. Horrible experience all around. Please close this home2home down as soon as possible!

This hotel was overall pretty great! We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and it was pretty nice. I will say, housekeeping only visited twice, and the second time, they did not fully shut our door. Luckily, all of our stuff was fine but I did make my husband do a safety check of the room before we entered.

Sofa bed was falling apart, room smelled awful when trying to run the heater. When I asked for a couple of extra pillows I was told they didn’t have any more and to just look at what the room had. Also had to spend extra for Valet because they don’t have their own parking lot.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel with nice rooms.
- 3/5
Furniture needs updating. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
The room was clean, spacious and exceeded our expectations. The staff was always on top of things. The front desk was attentive and helpful, the valets were quick and eager to help, the housekeeping staff went the extra mile to ensure things were sanitary and well maintained. Thanks for a great weekend.

Great staff and Location
- 2/5
Perks: very close to the Riverwalk, restaurants, bars and breakfast was decent. Cons: we booked a disabled room and the water was flowing out of the shower onto the floor. The lightbulbs blew out in the restroom. I fell in the restroom due to water on the floor and hurt my knee. Staff was advised about the lights that blew out before I slipped and never came to change them. They were also advised that I fell and hurt my knee and said a manager would call me after I checked out to this day. I never received a call.

hotel was great
- 4/5
i believe the hotel is a franchise. I’ve been to different H2S the varieties available for breakfast are not that great compared to others that I’ve lodged in. This H2S location in Houston “13923 South Freeway, Pearland, TX 77047 United States” will give you the best more than what you paid for .
- 5/5
Nice place but too far from the dome to walk
- 5/5
Overall it was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel.
- 1/5
We ended up having to be moved to the Marriott down the say and they were fantastic. The workers weren’t very accommodating, the girl was rude at the desk. We had a whole family 3 rooms and they expected us to separate. The AC wasn’t working, terrible. But the Marriott was fantastic.
- 4/5
Great room nice staff. Breakfast was also good.
- 5/5
Everything there was exceptional we clean room loved how you had a mini kitchen utensils if you wanted to have leftover food from the night before.
- 3/5
Our room smelled like curry. Someone had obviously been in there long enough for the smell to permeate the walls. Otherwise, it was okay. The bed was made, the room was tidy.
- 5/5
There was only 1 working elevator, making for long wait time. Eventually the staff elevator was fixed and we were told it was ok to use it. Housekeeping never stopped by the whole we were there. The location was great, we enjoyed walking the area.
- 1/5
They had no room available despite my reservation. Sent me to sister property that still had no room for me. Then told me to take it up with Hotels.com. And i shouldn't have used a 3rd party.
- 4/5
Food was basic, somewhat cold, waffles were great.
- 4/5
It’s an older property and it shows. The rooms weren’t as clean as we would have liked. Stains in the toilet made it seem dirty and splatters of something on the wall beside the bed. Staff were great and valet was excellent. They were quick and had our car pulled up without asking on day of check out. Loved that.

Staff and large rooms
- 5/5
Liked it
- 4/5
Kitchen ok, breakfast soso
- 4/5
A lot of restaurants in walking distance. 5mins from the Riverwalk. Walgreens across the street. Very friendly staff. Rooms could use some updating and couch in the room could use some extra cleaning but overall not a bad stay. The beds were clean and ok hotel breakfast
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast stayed 1 night only
- 4/5
Food leftover in refrig. Toilet paper holder on the floor behind the toilet. Too hot in the room with no way to lower it. Lights flashing on smoke alarms all night. Shower handles fell off in the hand. Location was great. $100 pet fee for a house trained 9lb dog excessive.
- 5/5
The staff in the hotel are the best. The front desk workers during our stay went above and beyond. I will be going back!
- 2/5
The ac was a huge problem. Hottest hotel ive ever stayed at in my life. If you want to sweat all night this place is for you. Literally woke up drenched in sweat both nights. Told the front desk and they didnt help at all. Other than that place was clean and nice. Youd just think for almost $400 you would at least have a cold room to sleep in. Nope. Wont be booking here again just for that fact. Witch is sad cuz this place is in a really great location
- 5/5
El staff super amigables!
- 1/5
Very horrible first experience, I booked before hitting the road , once I got in town after driving 5 hours I was told they are over booked and weren’t sure how I was able to book . Once I booked it told me their was 7 rooms left staff at 3am told me they are Negative 2 and kept repeating they don’t know how I was able to book and lied to the 3rd party company stating that I “No Show” which is very odd if I was turned away due to being over booked even though I paid
- 5/5
Great staff. Loved the kindness and delicious snacks.
- 5/5
Room very clean and had what we needed for a comfortable stay
- 4/5
In short great little hotel in downtown SA, we will stay for third time.
- 4/5
Was near to attractions and river walk. Did not like homeless person outside hotel
- 1/5
Elevator was not working
- 1/5
The stay was going alright the first day. We had gotten a hotel room where the A/C wasnt working and the bathroom door was broken, so they had moved us up to the 14th floor. The next day we had went to the convention nearby and while at the con the elevator broke down. So we were forced to use the stairs. Going down the stairs that day I had fallen and sprained my ankle. And pretty much every other day we were there the elevator had broken down every other hour. It has to have been one of the worst experiences ive had with any hotel ever
- 4/5
The hotel was good, but they have 3 elevators, only working 1 of those 3 and this one was not working properly. Actually I had to go down 11 floors using the stairs because the only elevator stop working and keep people trapped inside. Then I had to go up 11 floors again with my family.
- 5/5
Found exactly what was told, homely, safe, clean, quite, great hospitality, child caring staffs and the location was perfect. Nearby Paid parking available with different options
- 1/5
This property looks nothing
- 3/5
Great customer service ! Walking distance to a lot of social places!
- 5/5
Great breakfast, speedy service, courteous staff.
- 1/5
AC didn’t work in the room. Pillows didn’t have any kind of support. Only 1 elevator was working
- 4/5
Only 1 of the three elevators was working and the property is pretty dated, but staff seemed helpful. Vehicle was booted even though it was registered at check in. Tow company said it was not on their list. Office had to call and straighten it out.
- 5/5
Out of 3 only 1 elevator is working. Laundry needs coins. No slippers in bathrooms. Room was clean.
- 4/5
The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Not being able to change the thermostat below 68 was a problem for me. I like it cold when I sleep. We were on the 4th floor. This isn't technically a hotel problem and I'm sure if we were higher up it wouldn't be a problem, but the noise from downtown San Antonio is loud. The other issue I had was no offer to stream the apps on the TV. I stayed at another Home2Suites and we were able to stream and lower the AC. This one we were not able to do either.
- 5/5
The property was down town San Antonio good restaurants, shopping, river walk lots to do.
- 1/5
They need to change the name to motel 6. It is bad .i will never book again
- 5/5
Loved the place, absolutely 💯
- 3/5
The hotel had only 1 working elevator... So the wait was ridiculous.. Then their cleaners had to use the same elevator so it was even longer waiting on them to get off. We went down 6 flights of stairs after waiting 7 times for the elevator....The a/c didn't work in the pool room so it was a sauna in there when the kids were sleeping... The breakfast that was offered was ok. Nothing to rave about. I paid right at 700 for 2 nights and I don't believe it was worth it...
- 5/5
Super clean, great location, and the staff/valet were very friendly
- 4/5
Great property, clean room; friendly staff. Convenient parking building directly across street. Only downside is only one working elevator as the other two were out of service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
- 2/5
Then to the bathroom, shower floor needed a good scrubbing - it had black marks and red. The drain cover was not screwed down and that is a surprise in the middle of a shower. Then to see the gunk under it. Disgusting! Bed was super soft and the a/c said 68 but more like 72 in the room. Let’s not forget they were out of yogurt and the other food was not cooked very well.
- 2/5
1 - out of the three elevators only 1 was working. The hotel has 14 floors. Imagine how much time one family has to wait just to get the elevator to go up or down. This became extremely inconvenient when you have luggage with you. Apparently this issue has been ongoing for couple months. 2 - pool was out of order for maintenance. 3 - our room had two light fixtures not working. The water shower setting for hot to cold was reversed. Overall unhappy with the facilities for the amount you pay to stay in this hotel.
- 4/5
We had an issue with the toilet in our room. I
- 4/5
Price was different that what I reserved for
- 5/5
Spring break- great location and fun older building!
- 3/5
1. When we arrived, the room we were assigned had not been cleaned yet. It appeared as though someone was still checked into the room. Not sure what happened there but the staff worked to get us another room so we didn't have to wait to figure out what was going on. 2. There are 3 elevators in the hotel and only 1 was in service. The other 2 were not working which caused a lot of inconvenience for all guests, especially in the morning when guests are trying to get breakfast and/or check out. 3. Our key card would not open the pool. The front desk staff opened it for us and explained that this sometimes happens and that they don't understand why. 4. On one of the days we had just come in from walking the riverwalk and got to our room on the 11th floor and shortly after the fire alarm went off. We obviously took it serious as anyone should and began walking down the stairs. All 11 flights. When we finally reached the first floor, the staff told us that they were just testing the system and that they had called into all of the rooms to inform guests of the test. The annoying part to me is that we had just walked in and walked roght passed the front desk staff and they didnt tell us about the test.

2 of the 3 elevators were broken and the 3rd one malfunctioned and I got stuck in it for a 2 minutes.
- 3/5
2 of 3 elevators were out of order. AC in room was very loud.
- 5/5
My wife and I loved our stay
- 4/5
Everything was ok except only one elevator was working.
- 2/5
Room 318 was the room from heades. Refrigerator leaked, shower curtain rod was loose. Air conditioning went out one night. Plumbing under bathroom sink came loose. The valet and other staff members were great.
- 5/5
location was great. Popped in for one night, had complimentary cookies that day. Valet staff top notch. I will return again for sure
- 3/5
The main positive is the room was spacious and liked having the larger fridge, sink. It was walking distance to the river walk off Navarro. I would probably try another hotel the next visit.
- 5/5
The room was well-appointed and clean. The personal were frindly and knowledgable. Hotel is close to Riverwalk and many attractions.
- 4/5
Elevator elevator elevator - having just one and hoping that one doesn’t break while you are inside was a daily anxiety
- 3/5
Staff were all nice and friendly. The maid kept our room tidy and did a good job but the overall Condition of the room was poor. Our room had stains all over the carpet and couch. Even the desk chair had big stains. We were missing a shade blind on one window and windows were filthy.
- 5/5
Good location, nice rooms. Two of three elevators broken.
- 4/5
Great location. Only one elevator was working. Parking was very confusing.
- 1/5
This place is ok. There is only one elevator that works the other one has been down for a while based on comments here. Pool doesn’t look like no one cleans it like ever. This place needs help because there is not enough personal. I will never stay at this place.
- 3/5
Centrally located , lots of transients in the surrounding area, pool is blah its tiny ! Oh and the elevator service is HORRIBLE ! They have only one and it takes FOREVER to get to you oh and I must mention that it went out one of the days I was there and that was not good I am handicap and was on the 9th floor
- 1/5
The ac was broke told us is was up and running and was 74-75 degrees all not very uncomfortable
- 3/5
The ac in the room only went to 68 and it wasnt cool enough the refrigerator didn't work only had 1 elevator working. The guy at check-in was super nice and had complintary margaritas. They had full size bottles shampoo and conditioner and body wash and it wasnt the cheap brand which was nice.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with wonderful amenities in the room. Good size refrigerator and microwave plus a kitchenette sink. Bed was comfortable. Room was very cozy with sitting area. Hot breakfast available to start our mornings. Staff was very good and attended all our needs. We will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
First off, immediately into walking into the room, we realized there was something wrong with the ac. We called front desk, and instead of changing us rooms they sent maintenance to “fix” the ac while we’re getting settled into our room. Maintenance dump a buck of disgusting black water that they said was clogged in the ac unit down our kitchen sink in the room where we were going to wash our hands dishes. On top of the ac not working, the couch and chair in the room with disgusting covered in stains. We tell the front desk that we want a different room because the room keeps getting warmer and the ac isn’t turning on, and they said they’ll look for another room. Hours later at 11pm they tell us they can’t find a room and booked us a stay down the street at a different hotel. We had to walk down the street with luggage and a 6 month baby to the different hotel at MIDNIGHT. No help from the hotel to help load our luggage or anything. Finally , we get to the new room at the different hotel and it is tiny. Either a full or queen size bed, not couch or other furniture which is not what I paid for. Talk to the front
- 2/5
There was drag racing outside from 9am or so to about 1:30am. There was NO WAY TO SLEEP. I was told at the front desk the next day, that this goes on every Sunday night. Although this is not the hotel's fault, I cannot see how all hotels in that area cannot petition the city, to get the police to stop that. It was so flipping nerve wracking. A city that relies on tourism, should be ashamed that they cannot reel in such noise pollution, air pollution from the cars and disturbance of the peace. Loud music and yelling accompanied this ruckus. It felt intimidating and scary. Please encourage your hotel, along with others to demand this be stopped. You owe it to your customers.
- 4/5
It was a nice visit. The only issue was that only one elevator worked.
- 5/5
Great hotel, friendly staff, and great location.
- 3/5
Room was clean and had plenty of towels but it was a little warm and out of the 3 elevators they had only 1 worked for a 14 story building
- 1/5
room smelled musty. AC did not work. stuck at 76 all night. not fun in texas heat.
- 3/5
Staff were amazing and made it a great stay. Only one elevator was working which meant extremely long waits to leave or return. This problem was not being addressed.
- 3/5
The hotel has 3 elevators with only one working for 14 floors. I had read it has been this way for some time but thought it would have been fixed by the time I visited. The noise level from a club or something was right in the room until around 2 a.m.
- 1/5
The hotel was not clean. The toilets were filled with black mold and the couch had some mysterious stains on them. Would not recommend.
- 5/5
Location is great Staff was great and attentive. only thing wrong was the elevators were out of service but one.
- 5/5
Local staff from the vallett to the managers were first class.
- 3/5
The parking garage across the street from Travis street park was awful and did not feel secure (this is not a hotel affiliated garage) this is where staff directed me so if anyone else is directed here I would take valuables out and make sure you have people with you and bring a mask the elevator in their stinks. The overnight staff didnt have a lot of knowledge about the fees for pets and I was told this would come out of the deposit I left. Which has yet to be returned and they are still trying to take $25 from my account. The entry doors were not operating and the side door through valet didn’t seem to open with my key card. Being that I was alone and brought a pet this was another inconvenience but also a safety issue. Two of the three elevators were broken and it was such a struggle for the one working elevator to move it seemed to take forever which does not work when you have a puppy to bring.
- 5/5
It was awesome
- 5/5
No issues everything was good
- 5/5
Great Hotel, great staff!
- 3/5
Fix your elevators 😩
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay with my family, only issue is please fix your elevators very difficult to move around on such a busy weekend with just one elevator.
- 2/5
It was great but the room we stayed n 916. The ac makes a lot of noise every time it runs.
- 4/5
Check in took a little long but everything else was just fine.
- 4/5
The only turn off was the elevators not working. I’ll give them 85 out of 100
- 1/5
Lobby reaked of Marijuana. Not kid friendly.
- 2/5
Small room, awkward layout. Loud and distracting A/C unit in the room.
- 3/5
Think the valet parking at $45 is way too high!!
- 5/5
Nice location in relation to river walk. Nice rooms with a view. Nice reception person. Pool out of order unfortunately.
- 5/5
Great location and great room. 2of the 3 elevators were down and the pool was out of service but that did not effect our stay.
- 5/5
Everything was great just disappointed because we picked this hotel for the indoor pool so the grandkids could swim and the pool was out of order. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay!! Great location and the staff were very friendly.
- 2/5
I reserved a room with a view and paid a pretty hefty price.. what i got was a room on the 6th floor with a dirty window view of another building. Customer service was terrible. And only 1out of 3 elevators was working. Pool is extremely small. Not worth the price i paid. Never going back to this hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!
- 3/5
Place was cozy, only one elevator was working and it’s 24 floors.
- 4/5
.
- 2/5
AC was broken in our room. Had to move rooms after the first night.
- 1/5
Had to pay for parking when the website said inside parking for $5.
- 5/5
Tyler at the front desk was absolutely AMAZING!
- 5/5
Every single employee was so nice!!! The front desk gentleman even remembered my name!! They made our visit AMAZING!!! The ONLY downfall was only 1 elevator was working but that wasn’t the hotels fault. We will def be back!!!
- 5/5
Our room was very comfortable and spacious!
- 4/5
The valet app didnt work.
- 2/5
Great location, but only 1 out of 3 elevators worked, so it was a very long wait at times. The internet also did not work. Apparently it’s a known issue that the login window doesn’t pop up. Valet parking needs to be done off your cell phone, but that did not work either, as the page never displayed right.
- 5/5
Very welcoming
- 3/5
Average room, overpriced at $350/night. Valet parking listed $40/night, but they tacked on an extra $15. If you’re going to spend $350 go somewhere else.
- 2/5
The location of this hotel is excellent. That is the only thing it has going for it. Front desk staff is apathetic and unhelpful. There is no housekeeping unless requested, except no one tells you that at check in. Only one elevator working and half of the gym equipment is not operable. Also a ton of construction going on nearby so very noisy. Parking is $40 when you can park for $10 across the street. I would whether stay here again.
- 2/5
We won’t be back to this location
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Process was easy, nice staff, central area
- 2/5
Room couch was disgustingly dirty. Room felt dirty, requested city view and got a tiny window with hardly a view to anything. There is also no self parking and valet is $45.
- 4/5
It was fantastic and the location is perfect, just 3-4 minutes from the riverwalk
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 5/5
Front desk staff was amazing and very helpful
- 5/5
Convenient location to downtown and nice room size.
- 2/5
