Reviews
Guests generally enjoy the well-maintained grounds and family-friendly amenities such as the pool and lazy river. However, there are consistent complaints about noise from neighboring rooms and the early closing times of facilities. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the food options and service at the restaurant.

The only issue my family had is that the water in the room never really got hot. Also the pool does not have lifeguards on staff and the pool staff tended to snap at children a lot for minor things.
- 5/5
We live local and this was a really nice weekend get away. We will go back.
- 5/5
Also parking was very crowded that was probably my only issue had to park further since parking was full.

Great place to take children who love to swim.
- 5/5
This is literally my second stay here in 90 days and I'm already planning our next family trip . Amazing
- 4/5
The property was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Outdoor pools were nice even the lazy river.
- 5/5
Great property! Quick easy check in, clean spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath villa and great amenities including spacious well maintained pool with multiple slides, lazy river with floats, playground, hiking trail, kids club, and fire pits! I would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
We love the property lots to do and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.
- 4/5
This is a great family oriented resort. Lots of 6-16 years of age with parents grandparents. Pool is very spacious and safe for all ages. The lazy river is cute and very pretty, the kiddos will love it here and parents can just catchup on sleep or chill indoors. The cafe style restaurant is handy for those who don’t want to go far and there are plenty of snacks and common plates to choose from. A really laid back and very well kept property.

Space, room amenities The complex areas were out of shape
- 5/5
My family and I had an amazing time at Wild Oak Ranch! The property was beautiful and peaceful.
- 4/5
We had a short and fun trip. Very relaxing and the staff and amenities were great. We will get rent again.
- 4/5
Everything was great, my only complaint was the restaurant not delivering up to time stated but that happens.
- 4/5
Pros: -The pool was great! The lazy river was my spot. -The rooms were clean. Really nice bathrooms. Full kitchen and also a washer and dryer. -The property was beautiful to walk in. -The hotel planned plenty of activities for the kids. Con: -Internet, my biggest complaint. The speeds were very slow. -TVs were very slow to respond/ channel switching. I'm guessing they were on the same network as the internet but made our evenings a bit frustrating especially when we wanted to unwind for a bit in the room. Tips: -Bring oil for cooking if you are planning to cook. -Take a portable wifi router with you if you want reliable web service. Especially if you plan to work a bit, or if you have iPad kids. -Take you tumblers! Overall it was a great experience. I am looking forward to book our next stay!
- 5/5
Well kept, nice rustic environment, and a comfortable bed. They have a wonderful lazy river, that was especially nice after a busy day. Plus a very large jacuzzi, very nice!
- 5/5
Pools were perfect
- 5/5
Planned a little birthday sleepover for my daughter’s birthday and this was the perfect place. The resort is beautiful and has so many different amenities to keep us busy. The staff was beyond helpful in getting us an early check in and getting all the birthday stuff delivered to our room. I absolutely recommend this resort!
- 5/5
This a get place to stay with a family. There are so many activities and the facilities are great.
- 5/5
Very kid friendly, clean, and just the right amount of people.
- 5/5
Amenities are great! Location is close to SeaWorld. The restaurant on the property is not very good and overpriced but there are many nearby options.
- 5/5
We live less then 10 mins away decide to spend a day there for summer fun. I reserved a 2 bedroom villa. Arrived for early check in. However room was not ready but I was given all the info and was able to take my family to wait for our room at the pool. It was a beautiful hotel , this was our 3ed time staying here. It was not overly crowded. Pool and lazy pool were super clean staff was very helpful. Definitely can't wait to go back again.
- 5/5
There is a new basketball/pickleball court which was popular (reserve times at the front desk). The lazy river is our favorite of anywhere we have visited, and the pool was exceptionally warm. Room is clean and was attended to without us requesting one of our three days. Property is beautiful and staff were helpful. Fires for smores offered nightly. There was a movie one evening in the theatre, and there are workout classes. We went over to the sister property to see the new lagoon - there is no longer access to the water activities but we did receive complimentary parking and had dinner there one evening. Overall, both properties looked WAY less crowded than we have seen previously which was much appreciated. The only other suggestion for the property I have is to consider resurfacing the pool area - there are many spots where water pools along the edges of the pool and I witnessed a child and an older adult fall in the same spot on the same day. Overall, we love this property and enjoy the peacefulness and less busy scene than at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country.

- 5/5
We loved every bit of it! The only improvement would be Coke products and a bigger trash can for the kitchen area.
- 5/5
Nice property. Water pressure was low, 3rd floor. That is my only complaint
- 5/5
My kids absolutely loved this resort and are asking when we can go back. The pools, slides, lazy river, and hot tubs were all amazing. The room was very spacious and felt like an apartment. The balcony had a great view, and we even saw wildlife from it (fox and deer). It was an amazing stay, and I highly recommend this place for a family to enjoy.
- 5/5
Really cool place for kids and families!
- 4/5
Clean and pools too.
- 3/5
Everything was good, but I never received my welcome package, told concierge I never received and he proceeded to tell me to wait. Skipped over me and didn’t even speak with me. For the price you pay I’d hope I’d be treated with more respect.
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying here and will for sure recommend it to family members.
- 5/5
The entire experience. The pools, the room, the sauna, and the jacuzzi Can’t recall anything I didn’t like
- 5/5
We loved the pools and lazy river. The property offered activities throughout the day for entertainment. The staff was great. The bed was kind of hard but on the grand scheme of the whole experience it is barely worth mentioning.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that when picking up the parking pass the concierge attempted to setup an appointment for a timeshare. Once I said I was not interested that fake smile she had turned into a frown and she handed me the pass rudely.
- 3.5/5
Not enough attractions for smaller children. Pool was small and crowed. Room wasn't serviced in the three days we were there.

2 bedroom villa was ideal for our stay as it allowed us to be together and yet have separate sleeping rooms. The kitchen was well equipped, and our favorite part was being able to do laundry without leaving the villa. (just a note, the machines are a bit loud). Showers were great despite quite a bit of rust around the fixture. And loved our balcony - until our neighbors broke out the wacky tobacky...(not our thing). The landscaping is lovely and the lazy river was wonderful. There are so many things to do and in close proximity San Antonio's attractions without losing that resort feel. Would definitely stay again!

Best resort for me being in the middle of the city without feeling like you're in the middle of the city. Honestly I almost never choose to go anywhere else anymore because this place has everything!
- 5/5
The pool, water slides and lazy river were all perfect for all ages of our family to unwind. The grounds and foliage made for a relaxing hideaway. Rooms were clean and updated.

The property is beautiful with wonderful amenities! The pool & lazy river are great! Lived the fire pits for making s’mores! Also, very close to Sea World!

- 4/5
beautiful property,fun activities everyday
- 5/5
Great mini vacation
- 5/5
This property was excellent. Landscaping well manicured. Pool and lazy river refreshing! Greta relaxing atmosphere. Our studio room was perfect for two even with a small balcony to enjoy a coffee outdoors in the morning! Can’t wait to come back
- 3/5
The room was very clean but the lighting was AWFUL. You couldn't see in the bathroom because the lighting was so bad. I thought they were on dimmers but no, just bad lighting. Kudos to the cleaning staff, they are amazing. The pool area was clean but there were no lifeguards. The lazy river didn't have any staff attending to it, so if you got hurt or needed assistance you were at a loss. The restaurant on property wasn't good and was more like a quick service with overpriced chicken tenders. The site is misleading, you are not able to go over to the Hyatt at Wild Oak Ranch without paying 21 dollars to park and paying for a day pass to use their pool area. Overall it worked for a few nights, not sure if I'd go back.
- 5/5
Great getaway!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the tortilla and guacamole classes. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful property with a lot to do.
- 3/5
Swimming area was outstanding! Rest just ok.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
The resort itself appeared to be well-maintained and amenities were adequate, especially if you had young children (ex. Lazy River). The room (we had a 2 br unit) itself was spacious and the availability of a w/d and full kitchen was a definite plus. Negatives were the bed (very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, thin and very worn) and the overall poor lighting, especially in the bathrooms. The on-site restaurant had decent food, but was woefully understaffed. There was one cook and one server who also had bartending and busboy duties. It also closes at 8:00pm, which is quite early for being the only eating facility on site. As this is a time share property, be advised that there is a sales pitch for purchasing at the property. Road signage is also lacking, so finding your accommodation can be a bit challenging, especially in the dark. Overall it’s a well-designed resort with multiple activities, but the room comfort could be improved.
- 3/5
I thought everything was paid for and when they wanted my credit card, I asked what was it for and the desk clerk seemed offended and told me I should have read the details.
- 5/5
Pool side was very clean and yes everything was there that i needed to cook with
- 3/5
Location was very nice and well maintained nice amenities. Pool and hot tubes with lazy river were great.Only real issue was staffing at front desk needed better customer service skills . The gentleman on the front desk needs an attitude adjustment or a career change .He choose to work customer service and is not great at it . Pro tip if you need to extend your stay and you booked through a third party travel site contact or use the app you booked through to rebook a room. Hyatt vacation club will charge three times the cost you booked you room and not blink an eye at it and lie the they all booked up. Yet the rooms are available on the travel site for the same date you looking at and a third of the cost. when I confronted the gentleman at the desk, Diego and inquired about this later after her rebooking with Hyat. Diego “it is what it is. “slapped my receipt on the counter and turned and walked away from me. Not what I was expecting from Hyat vacation club Customer;service very unprofessional think twice before staying at that site !
- 5/5
The pool and lazy river were great, we played basketball and ping pong, hung out at the outdoor benches in front of our room and ate at their fantastic restaurant with Gigi as our waitress! The food was delicious and service was impeccable! Loved everything and would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
It was a beautiful area. If you don't have a car, it has limited eating or shopping. If you have issues with walking or medical issues getting around would be difficult. Everyone was kind and helpful. Great staff.
- 5/5
Amazing place don't even have to leave site my family enjoyed ourselves planning to go back
- 5/5
We had a few hiccups due to the property being in the middle of renovations. However, the staff was ever so helpful and the front desk service was amazing. My son is 7, and while he was not tall enough for the water slide, he did thoroughly enjoy the lazy river and craft cottage. We would definitely go back again. One thing to keep in mind, there are A LOT of birds, and they are really loud. I found it helpful to run the fan in the bathroom through the night, as well as the travel sound machine that we bring with us.
- 4/5
We'd love to give it 5 stars. It's in a beautiful setting and the pool and lazy river are nice features, especially if you have a family. My only complaint is the sound proofing between the rooms is not very good. I could hear someone in the room next door snoring at night. One night a kid was crying very late and we thought it was outside on the balcony but she was INSIDE her room. Otherwise we loved the location and setting!
- 5/5
Si todo muy equipado . Súper lindo , cómodo, limpio, atención excelente súper recomendado

I got lucky I was able to use the one washer and dryer in our complex.
- 5/5
Pools were cool
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. This property is undergoing maintenance and repairs.
- 5/5
Was skeptical after reading reviews but was VERY IMPRESSED with this resort! Villa, pool, amenities (kids activities like s’mores, slime, diving for diamonds), yoga, waterslides and lazy river and hot tubs were all well kept and much enjoyed by our 7 year old. We would return - don’t let bad reviews fool you.
- 5/5
Perfect! Lazy river was relaxing Units had everything you need
- 4/5
Great amenities, clean room
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and everything you need was in the room other than groceries.
- 5/5
The Place was right of the highway a bit left off the road near the Sea World. It is lined up with Texas Limestone and lots of Mesquite trees and ligthing. Went drove into the Round a bout and called for the Concierge. He came to greet us very quickly and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Place is full of wildlife running around and the rooms where very nice and comfortable.
- 4/5
The whole property was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. All amenities were great to use wish there was a bigger breakfast selection to go by, but everything was great.
- 5/5
We love this resort. This is our second stay in a year. The property is always clean, villas are clean and well maintained. The staff is what makes it the best.
- 5/5
Nothing bad to say everything was great!
- 3/5
We didn't realize when we booked this that it's a vacation club or in better terms a timeshare. There was a lot of pressure for us to go listen to a two hour spiel but we declined. When we checked in, we said we were not interested, but someone called us our first morning there and asked what we were doing for the day and then asked if we would be coming to the spiel. The accommodations were nice but very dated. They definitely need to update and remodel. The best part was the lazy river.
- 5/5
The the staff was friendly and helpful. The property was well kept and quiet, but central to the sites we wanted to visit.
- 5/5
It’s was everything excellent only the problem when we did the check in don’t tell me they are going to charge for the amenities until we check out please let to know at the people there is extra charge for that then we can decided if we want or not the amenities please 🙏🙏
- 5/5
Best place I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you so much
- 5/5
loved everything
- 5/5
Rooms were great and had so many amenities to use.
- 3/5
Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the Pools and amenities were closed due to poor weather.
- 5/5
Two large hot tubs, one is secluded behind the pool. Large pool, nice hiking trails, very secluded oasis in the middle of the city.
- 5/5
Typical Hyatt Vacation property. Lots of amenities, clean and roomy.
- 5/5
It was nice all around.
- 5/5
The purpose of my stay was to attend the military graduation of my son from the Air Force so unfortunately I was not able to fully enjoy the amenities. Despite this I was very pleased with the accomodations because I was able to host the other family members who stayed at other hotels. I had a fully functioning kitchen as well as a living room and dining area. We had seven adults and was able to move around comfortably. Also due to the fully functional kitchen I was able to offer refreshments. Moreover there was a terrace that allowed pictures to be taken with the graduate and each of his family members. I received 100 percent satisfaction and only experienced about 10 percent of what this location has to offer. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this location.
- 5/5
We loved the property! Sadly we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoors due to the bad weather.. we were Soo looking forward to swimming and experiencing the lazy river on our family trip..
- 5/5
The home was clean and completely ready for guests. Beautiful,
- 5/5
I stayed in a 2 room villa, it was in great conditions, very clean, the kitchen well equipped, nice view to the forest. The pool is tempered, noteworthy, otherwise I wouldn't have used it considering the weather. Special mention to Sandy from Customer Service, so polite and accommodating. Only inconvenient for me was the check in until 4:00 and check out at 10:00, maybe it's just one our later/earlier than usual, but when traveling with kids makes a difference. Overall a fun stay, would stay again.
- 5/5
They had great activities for people of all ages. The hotel was beautiful.
- 4/5
For the price the suit was basic. The shower head was clogged with minimal pressure. I was allowed to check out 30 minutes later which was helpful,
- 5/5
It was really nice. I do wish they had the kids’ camp open more. Condo was really nice. Pools were lovely.
- 4/5
Seemed like they were worried about the pool towels instead of the guest
- 5/5
Great Stay!
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was responsive and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was nice
- 5/5
I had such an amazing time here with my girlfriends. Definitely wish we stayed longer than three days. The recreational center smelled AMAZING, I’m still trying to figure out what scent they used. Overall an awesome experience, will definitely be returning!
- 5/5
Great weekend getaway!
- 5/5
Amazing room - and the pool and lazy river were so much fun for our kids . Great staff - overall amazing time .
- 5/5
It is a very nice property with a lot of amenities. My only 2 issues (very small...) are that the toilet in our room rocked back and forth and the hot water is not very hot. Shower was warm but not hot.
- 5/5
Staff lacked empathy at our request to cancel due to family emergency, even after numerous attempts and communication from my behalf and hotels.com representatives they declined to reschedule or cancel stay. Will NEVER book there again
- 5/5
Perfect family destination with a ton of activities to do on the property. The amenities were in great shape. We loved the large pool, waterslides, and lazy river and appreciated that they weren't too deep for our 6 year old. We also took in pickleball, the nature trail, evening bonfires with s'mores and meals at JB's. This place is a gem and super close to Sea World. It was also an easy commute to downtown San Antonio to enjoy the Riverwalk and the Alamo.
- 5/5
we love their pool and lazy river
- 5/5
Great location, lots of amenities and great staff.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
The place is luxurious and unique, but I wish I had known when I booked that this is a timeshare. I just wanted a quiet hotel after an extremely long day of traveling, but the concierge wanted me to book an "informational session." I finally relented so I could get to the room and relax, but the sales team called me TWICE that night and TWICE the next morning to "remind me to bring my credit card and ID with me" to the session. Definitely not relaxing to be disturbed that frequently. I think the facilities are beautiful, but I wish hotels.com or even some of the reviews would have clued me in to the nature of the property, as I just thought I was staying at a nicer Hyatt hotel with upgraded amenities, not a timeshare that would make my entire stay about selling me a timeshare. You couldn't even take advantage of the "free Starbucks coffee and gourmet pastries" they advertised without being hounded, because they are only available at the media/presentation lounge. Maybe I was just gullible and should have done more homework before I booked, but I thought others should be aware if they're booking through hotels.com, as well, since that is not made clear on the hotels.com site.
- 4/5
We arrived on Tuesday but didn’t hear about getting maid service until Friday after I requested.
- 1/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Our family loved it. Beautiful property, beautiful amenities. My kids had fun meeting other kids at the basketball court.
- 2/5
All the restaurants except for one are at the sister location. Feel like that is deceiving. The pool and fire pit closed several times due to weather. Just felt like we had to leave the property to enjoy our weekend.
- 3/5
The check in process needs improvement. Waited in long line to be told our room wasn’t ready. Then another line with the concierge to get our parking pass. Then yet another line at 4:00 to get our room key. All total about an hour. Seems lengthly and unnecessary. And to top it off the room keys didn’t work so had to go back to get new ones. An apology would have been nice.
- 3/5
The property was a little difficult to navigate at first. Many nights we came back late there was no parking near our building. I know you pay for convenience at resorts, but $80 for 4 breakfast sandwiches and 4 small bottles of juice was a bit much. We ended up going to Walmart and buying our own breakfast items. If it was little more reasonable we would have eaten there more. It was nice to have a partial kitchen and small fridge. The pool and lazy river were nice and heated. Bring your ear plugs, between fighting animals, noise from the connected room, and the grounds keepers starting at 8:00 am, it’s a little difficult to sleep. We had a ground level room and they must have just fixed the roofing or gutters, because there were nails and screws all around the lawn area by our room.
- 5/5
One restaurant and the hours are limited.
- 5/5
The unit was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional!
- 5/5
Such a fun family vacation. It feels really secluded which helps you disconnect, but it’s still close enough to all the other fun stuff in San Antonio.
- 3/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
So peaceful! Great resort and has amazing pools!
- 3/5
Checkers easy but they have it set up where you pick up the parking pass and get caught by the sale lady who was pushing the time share there. Property seems to be run down. Nothing special, glad I don’t have a time share here.
- 3/5
We also found multiple roaches in our room on the last day which was very disappointing. The positives were the pool, lazy river, playground and poolside food delivery was great. There are a ton of grounds workers keeping the grounds looking nice, I think the rooms could use some of that attention.
- 5/5
Had the most relaxing time. Pools were great. Staff was amazing
- 2/5
The doors were noisy when closing. One morning the groundskeeper was running a leaf blower at 6 am outside our bedroom window. During checking we were very tired from the flight and were hit up with high pressure sales personnel trying to sell us a time-share ; an insult to a long day of travel.
- 3/5
Felt like the room was in the basement. View of retaining wall.
- 3/5
Everything was pretty good except dealing with the wildlife…. It took us about 30 minutes to get into our room one night due to raccoons and possums. When this was expressed to the front desk, all they said was there’s nothing they can do about the wildlife. One thing they can do is ask that you do not put trash outside your room door. They could’ve had tops in the trash cans that are located near the rooms… Other than that the place is really nice and the amenities are wonderful
- 4/5
Poolside was besutiful but i waited for 45 minutes to be served at the poolside restaurant and eventually went somewhere else because i never got served although the table beside me who sat down after me had drinks and appetizers within 15 minutes
- 5/5
Only issue I had was we had to move our cookout indoors because I had to call the front desk several times to have our grill fired up, when he finally came he didn't have the lighter and the grill utensils.
- 5/5
Kitchen had everything, loved that the rooms had a washer and dryer in them. The resort was very clean & well kept. Amenities were great!
- 1/5
For a Hyatt, too many things in the room did not work. Hit and miss, some units are old or face a wall. The female front desk supervisor drags down Hyatt's reputation.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and personable. The rooms were clean and cozy. The lazy river is amazing.
- 5/5
Nice place for family with younger children
- 1/5
I only booked because google said they had early check in and I believed it to be the resort with the lagoon... neither of these were to be true..
- 5/5
great pools perfect place for families
- 4/5
Pros: Clean, spacious rooms Pool area was nice (not great) Cons: Had problems with our tv and requested help 3 times. There was no follow up or communication with updates. Pool staff was making personal phone calls while they were on-duty. They charged for minor things….$.50 for a marshmallow roasting stick. Literally, you can buy a 20 pack for $1 nearby
- 5/5
The best place to visit in San Antonio.
- 5/5
Very spacious. Great for the family.
- 5/5
Great hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms and excellent attention to detail. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. They made our stay feel welcoming and stress-free. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!
- 5/5
Great area! Makes you feel like you're 100 miles from the city.
- 4/5
The amenities are awesome but the rooms are showing their age. Paint overspray everywhere, our toilet ran, the shower pull was frozen and the GFCI plug in the bathroom was nonfunctional. They fixed the shower first day but everything else remained. Brautiful setting...
- 5/5
Room was spotless, we did have a little hangup but nothing serious. The water pressure was ok. The bed was to soft for me. The amenities was perfect. I had to pay extra fees. I was not a fan about. I felt the resort feed should have been included in the cost when i paid for the package.
- 5/5
We loved the pool and slides
- 5/5
Wonderful property. Ended up buying into the “ownership” program. Looking forward to our future stays!
- 1/5
After calling to verify the pool and lazy river would be up and running during our visit the lazy river was closed. Called the front desk to let them know our patio door was very difficult to open and the response was, “thank you for letting us know, we will have it fixed for the next guests”. Hurt my back several times trying to open and close that door all week. Guest laundry provided, however the washing machine was broke. Put clothes and detergent in washing machine only to find out it was broke. Called the front desk with that concern, told me they would submit a ticket. Kept checking machine to see if it was fixed and also explained that I needed to get the detergent out of my clothes. I then asked to get a key to use the washing machine in the next building. Finally showed up with a key. The gentleman was helpful and even walked to the next building with me to make sure it worked which it did but super inconvenient to keep going to the other building especially after getting cornered by a raccoon. This place charges a resort fee which is ridiculous especially if you’re not able to use all the amenities. They also try to sell you a timeshare.

This is a great off season resort (that is when we visited)! There were numerous times we had the heated pool by ourselves. We had a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen, it saved us a ton of money not having to eat out every meal. San Antonio is so built up, this was a nice respite.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and beautiful property with great amenities.
- 5/5
Great place, courteous staff, exceptional rooms, would stay again
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
Shower head water pressure was horrible we didn’t have hot water.
- 4/5
The recreational activities - pool, waterslide and lazy river, basketball/pickleball courts were amazing
- 4/5
Room was beautiful, customer service were attentive. The only issue is that there are renovations going on at the property and the noise was a bit annoying.
- 3/5
Room was nice, but hot water issues the whole time. Lukewarm water is NOT ideal after a long day. Tried calling front desk but the phones also kept breaking. My biggest complaint is our flight got in midnight, and lobby closes at 11p. There was supposed to be a sign on door for us to call security and be able to get to our rooms, but there was no sign and at 1a we were stranded and had to pay for hotel rooms for our party nearby. NOT HAPPY. They refunded only a fraction of that first night hotel stay. After everything, nice people at the front desk, but the hotel managers do not take care of their guests. We paid for the 2 bedroom villa... just beware paying more does not guarantee you'll be taken care of.
- 4/5
Fantastic amenities, clean room... it's a time-share though, sales pitch at check-in.
- 2/5
Rooms were a bit neglected, construction was going on in the building next to us so sleeping was not ideal. Staff was very friendly -too friendly and well it was all part of a sales pitch. This hotel is part of a timeshare group and we got sucked into the sales pitch by being told they were going to tour the property so we knew what the amenities available for our stay, and nope it was a tour of a really nice room to try to get us to buy in. Did not take advantage of any of the property’s features. Was not the ideal stay for us. On our last day called front desk at 7am to get supplies and they came with those after 9am.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and very clean. The community was very quiet. The pool was heated, it felt great! Love love love this hotel!
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Excellent property
- 5/5
The rooms were perfect. The beds were so comfortable. Everyone was super nice! We loved everything about it!
- 5/5
This was one of most beautiful and quiet locations I could have selected. The villa was comfortable , clean and perfect to host our daughter & husband traveling with us. The staff was courteous and friendly. Our vacation was made extra special because of the amenities, and restful atmosphere. Good popcorn too!!
- 5/5
It was spotless. And it was so much fun
- 4/5
Beautiful place a lot of extra costs
- 3/5
The hot tubs, elevator, and slides were all shut down. They hit you with a hard sell “points” timeshare presentation.
- 5/5
Great cute place. We stayed end February, was not crowded and lots of space around the lazy river and the heated pool. We love it. One thing we found odd is that they asked to take off sheets at the end of our stay, and take the trash out and place it outside the room. They send out the check out instructions at the evening before the check out day, I did not see the message before we got home. Not sure if they will change extra for that.
- 5/5
It was very clean and the staff there were very nice. The pools were heated. The rooms were really nice.
- 1/5
This is a timeshare scam . Do not fall for it , do not go to the presentation .
- 5/5
Activities
- 5/5
Really nice place
- 4/5
They did offer for us to sit through a presentation on their Vacation Club and we would earn $150 for am hour or 90 minutes of our time. We didnt have a lot planned so we agreed. It took well over 2 hours, they were very pushy and after we said no, they treated us like "well how did you even get to stay here" we were asked that multiple times during our stay and found it very rude and the only reason i wouldnt give them 5 stars. Breakfast options were very limited.
- 5/5
Great staff property

- 5/5
Courteous staff and welcoming. Everything was clean and stocked with supplies needed for the week. Great communication and fast response when needed.
- 5/5
Would highly recommend this beautiful hotel/resort!
- 5/5
Yes! The best experience ever
- 2/5
2. Misleading information regarding housekeeping availability, no consistency 3. Misleading jnformation regarding kids activity, one building stated activity not available, while it was posted and available an hour later.. 4. Super annoying sales people trying to push their ridiculous packages tot he point where they are intervening yiur personal time and space
- 5/5
The best!!
- 5/5
Everything was spotless
- 5/5
Great pool and lazy river
- 5/5
Room was clean and consierage was nice.

- 4/5
Great room and amenities, gorgeous property
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Staff wasn’t too friendly upon check in, rooms are outdated. You need a car to go to this place because the front desk is not near the rooms. They have a golf cart you can call for pick up, but you have to call in advance. The area is far away from everything. I wouldn’t recommend this place, the location is far away from everything.
- 2/5
Stay was not as advertised. Whirl pools were stated to be indoors, I called to be sure they were going to be opened and was told each time yes they would be. Come to find out there was no indoor whirlpools at the property. Was told they would have a gift ready and available for husband's birthday and they brought us some old cans of beer, look like was from some old guests that stayed before. The bathroom and shower smelled, thankfully i always bring my own cleaning supplies, i had to clean it to make suitable. We were turned away from pool 30 mins early at 9:30pm, closed at 10. And then everything was closed all weekend due to inclement weather however, they called my cell phone and room phone over and over again to participate in a resort tour so that they can make commission off of us and seemed to get upset when declined. That was still goin on however everything else such as all amenities were shut down. Stay was a waste of money, would not recommend. I booked there because everything was supposed to be indoors but it was not, the weather was not even that bad for them to shut everything down as they did.
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the lazy river late afternoon and sitting by the fire in the evenings. Room was clean and suited our needs. Make sure to ask to see your room charge slip prior to checking out. Someone charged food/drink to our room. Overall, nice place and great location.
- 5/5
Great place. The room was wonderful, comfortable, clean. The bed was very comfortable which I’m very picky about. The steam was the best part. The pool was heated. I wasn’t able to enjoy all the grounds has to offer due to freezing weather. But was able to get into the pool because it was nice and warm. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
everything was amazing It was an easy check in and out process, clean room , had an amazing view
- 5/5
Although it was cold and breakfast was canceled, and some activities were canceled, it was a really nice room. It was warm, the power did not go out during the Arctic blast freeze. We had a great time. The kitchen was equipped with what I needed to make dinner for my family. The pool was warm even though it was 20° outside. They’re beautiful trails and deer everywhere, and we felt safe.
- 3/5
The rooms were extremely noisy, especially the heating elements. They kept us up most of the night, even when ours was turned off.
- 4/5
Would have given 5 stars, but the water flow was weak and the food availability was limited. But it’s not too far from a Walmart. We did the tour and the rooms on showcase are so much nicer.
- 2/5
Room booking issue because of upgrade, vaping restrictions, amenities closing early
- 3/5
The hot water didn’t work for the bathtub. And they really let you know they wanted you to start the dishwasher, take a the sheets and blankets off, and take trash out etc. not what I want to do on my vacation.
- 1/5
We had no hot water a couldn't get hot water in our room so my family wasnt able to shower, alao found live cockroaches in rom
- 5/5
Clean Room and Courteous Staff
- 5/5
Our first trip to San Antonio, Texas, to attend our great-grandson’s Air Force graduation, we stayed at the Hyatt Vacation Club at Wild Oak Ranch. Our stay was outstanding; all staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better 5 day visit. Thank you for all you do.
- 5/5
Everything have no complaints. It was a great experience and I hope to be back soon.
- 4/5
Customer service was great. We only stayed for one night for an event at the Hyatt. We were not able to fully enjoy all the resort has to offer. Overall a very good stay.
- 1/5
My party consisted of 3. Myself, my ex-husband, and our second child. We’re doing the co-parent thing on this trip to show support for our oldest son but we need privacy because ain't no funny business. Seriously. The bathroom had the toilet encased in a glass box you can literally see through, which seemed pointless. I just didnt have the strength to complain again. Just wont stay there again. Id like my money back honestly, but I dont feel like being on the phone for hours explaining this. Just wanna get back to my life. Need a vacation from this vacation.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. Even in the winter the grounds were beautiful. Spotted deer roaming the parking lots and woods. Used the hot tubs, pool and lazy river. All were wonderful.
- 3/5
The hot tub by the steam and sauna was broken. The sauna was broken. No hot water in the showers by the pool. No golf carts before 8am. Had to walk with my luggage from persimmons to the lobby. Needs a refresh in the rooms. Sink clogged. Would be nice to have some complimentary water. Had to call to get robes.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing with the exception of the pillows. They didn't offer any support and were uncomfortable. Would suggest more supportive pillows.
- 5/5
Everything was great! No complaints
- 5/5
Everything was perfect?
- 4/5
Recently refurbished rooms. Pickleball/Basketball courts. Nature walking/jogging trails. Cabanas around lazy river have TVs on them to catch a game on. Pool service. Nice activities for children (extra cost).
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Lots of amenities like a putting green & lots of nighttime lights. Loved the several Fire Pits. Enjoyed the whole place...Steam room was awesome too & we were surprised how long the water slides stayed open...NICE !!
- 5/5
Hyatt employees were very professional.
- 1/5
But another lady where we went to her parking pass was extremely friendly.
- 5/5
The stay was great, 1 bdrm suite was perfect, friendly staff, an overall great experience. Will be going back in the future!
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and welcoming, the property was clean and the overall experience was positive. We are lookin forward to returning.
- 5/5
Rooms are spotless, staff were extreemly friendly and helpful, club had so many activities for adults and kids. Definitely will come back
- 4/5
The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was perfectly nestled in a nature setting among the bustling city offering much needed calm to unwind each night. The staff was professional and courteous.
- 5/5
After reading reviews, I was slightly concerned about staff being rude or not available, however, we found that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The staff was AMAZING. So kind, courteous, and helpful. The grounds were lovely and the amenities were great. We will definitely go back for a quick family weekend!
- 5/5
Great room, all the resort amenities were excellent especially the heated pool. Enjoyed the walking trails too. All the people staying there were respectful of others.
- 5/5
The most amazing room I've ever stayed in! Gorgeous views, a lovely functional kitchen with nice appliances, a comfy bed, and my absolute favorite—a huge jacuzzi bathtub with working jets. I can't wait to stay again xx
- 5/5
Everything was fine!
- 4/5
Room was clean , staff was friendly. Pools were great! Did S’mores snf that was fun! Grounds were great. Nice family vacation place. Close to Sea World.
- 5/5
Very nice resort. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The entire resort is clean. The pool and lazy river are heated which helped with the cooler nights.
- 5/5
Fabulous room!! Wish we had more time to spend here! Lots of things to do.. pool, lazy River, etc
- 5/5
Overall quality of facility and activities for kids...outstanding!
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Clean room, very polite staff, easy access to location
- 5/5
Staff members were and very friendly
- 3/5
Hotel staff not that friendly or welcoming. They didn't promote or offer an upgrade, didn't greet us, welcome us, didnt promote to join their membership program. They gave out information after I asked for it. But I was hoping for upscale customer service to match the amount I paid for. Just people there to do a job. Sascha at front desk didnt seem happy to be there, I spoke to her twice and both times she seemed un motivated. The Room was nice, but odd placement. Why put us next to all the families with kids near the pool. 1 st night neighbors very loud, screaming kids outside the door. I spoke to 2 different Concierge staff but they focused more on trying to sell the Timeshare Package, then offering more Concierge services. Overall I was just missing exceptional customer service which I never got
- 5/5
Balcony had a great view
- 5/5
Great location, and facilities. I would like to especially call out Manisha Patel (desk agent) who went above and beyond in helping us get checked in. The facility was not able to accept a digital-only Apple Card, but she was able to process the card via other means. Had she not worked with us, we would have had to find another place to stay!
- 5/5
A good stay
- 5/5
Great stay. It is a vacation club, though , I enjoyed the no pressure flyer they give you instead of holding you hostage.
- 2/5
The rooms and property are very nice but we only had working hot water for the kids showers. My wife and I were forced to take cold showers which was very unpleasant. The front desk acknowledged
- 5/5
A lot of activities, including basketball/pickleball court. Pool and lazy river were heated and we could use them even with a bit cooler weather. Very relaxing atmosphere! True vacations
- 5/5
Great experience, wouldn’t have wanted to spend new years anywhere else! Will be coming again.
- 5/5
Every thing was ok, I did leave a list for maintenance just a few minor repairs that need attention, but overall the stay was pleasant.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Room was great and staff was very accommodating!
- 5/5
All of above. When I arrived I met a gentleman named Jacob. He was so helpful and kind he personally showed me how to get to the charging station and how to use it. He was the start to a great vacation for my family, as well as the bartender at the restaurant.
- 1/5
Awful beds… really bad hotel…
- 5/5
Rooms were amazing! Loved the activities of the resort and enjoyed the pool, lazy river and smore's around the fire pits! The service was amazing as well.
- 5/5
Great amenities and friendly staff.
- 2/5
Staff was great. The facility needs some TLC. Not hot water for 2 days. TV issues, Restaurant 2 start . Balcon screen unrailed. For a resort 2 star
- 5/5
Staff was super communicative and polite!! The rooms were a great size and very clean!! The amenities were great! We had great weather and were able to participate in all the activities! Great for families and grandparents with grand children! Thank you!!
- 5/5
This was the nicest property I have ever been to. I really enjoyed the fact that the pool and lazy river were heated for year round use. Couldn't belive they had 3 hot tubs on the property also. The only thing I belive that needs improvement is the dining. They have only 1 restaurant on site, and my wife wanted waffles for breakfast, and they didn't have any fresh batter made up. Also, I guess in the winter they don't do poolside service.
- 4/5
Clean and relaxing
- 5/5
Gorgeous property! Fabulous amenities, clean and well-appointed rooms.
- 5/5
Clean room staff is very nice , beautiful area’s
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. A lot of amenities. Clean rooms and grounds.
- 5/5
Amazing property! Amenities. Clean space clean room. Love the pool area
- 5/5
Clean room and nice pool
- 5/5
Also, just FYI for everyone, the main pool is heated and has 2 fun slides. The lazy river is not heated but was still open. Because there is a full kitchen, i recommend buying groceries and making your own meals. There is a walmart less than a mile away. Also, there were multiple deer sightings on property, so drive safe and be careful. All in all, 10/10.
- 5/5
they were amazing, helped us out throughout and made our big moment even better
- 5/5
Good Place
- 5/5
It was gorgeous
- 5/5
Everything was amazing!!! Definitely coming back!!
- 1/5
Our phone couldn’t charge in the room because the wall jacks would not hold our phone cord base in tightly enough. One our lamps didn’t work because the switch was broke. The faucet in the bathtub was pulled out from the wall leaving a hole. We were told we could purchase warm breakfast sandwiches and when we called down to see where we go to get them they told us they don’t offer the sandwiches any longer. After our 2 night stay we were absolutely not interested in hearing anymore about the property and won’t be staying there in the future and wouldn’t recommend.
- 5/5
Beautiful location and great staff
- 5/5
It was nice and clean.
- 5/5
The room was better than I could have imagined and the amenities were perfect for my little family. Staff was very kind and courteous!
- 5/5
Beautiful!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
Love this place !!
- 5/5
due to the incline in weather we were not able to enjoy the lazy pool, nor the pool. I really enjoyed the room and will definitely return in the future.
- 1/5
Our keys to our room didn’t work so we called down to office and had to wait 30 minutes for security to bring new ones while we waited outside in the cold for 30 min. The room smelled bad and we woke up with bug bites the next day. Front office people were not courteous.
- 5/5
Kids love the lazy river!!!
- 3/5
The high pressure sales tactics from pre-arrival onward under the guise of good service was certainly off-putting. The lack of dining on the property is not obvious from the website but you should bring your own food unless you want to eat cereal and chicken nuggets your whole stay. The kids activities were great!
- 1/5
Staff
- 5/5
Great one!
- 5/5
The room was clean. I appreciated being able to communicate via text for anything that I needed. It was a little cold so we didn't go into the water, but walked around the grounds and the hot tubs and pools looked nice and people were in the hot tub.
- 5/5
Very nice facilities
- 5/5
The full environment of the club.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Incredible location, beautiful room, loved all of it!
- 5/5
Beautiful property, family friendly.
- 4/5
was not told about the bar and the balcony view was terrible
- 4/5
The rooms were clean but old as we had loose door knobs. Eating options on sire are limited and the only restaurant available closes at 8pm. We order margaritas that we were not impressed with at all( made from crushed ice and it was so over diluted not worthy the 38 bucks plus tip we paid for two glasses. We loved the lazy river and the pool as they were heated. The scenery is amazing with onsite bbq places. The rooms were big( apartments style) and had full kitchen with two Tv’s and a sofa bed and a sleeper.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. Im going back !!! For sure
- 5/5
Very nice property, we have stayed there multiple times. Never disappointed!!
- 5/5
Beautiful facilities, very responsive staff. Quick to fix stuff and constantly cleaning. Heated outdoor pool and lazy river. Great place to stay
- 4/5
What an amazing stay my family and I had, I was very skeptical and even had doubted my choice because of the reviews I had seen... But we were so pleasantly surprised! The room was clean the staff were young but very nice and polite the area it was located at was a perfect location... We had such a great time. Would definitely recommend
- 3/5
Nice enough, but has a bit of a bug problem and is outdated. The grounds are gorgeous and lots of amenities for kids, but the rooms need a good bit of work and there’s no housekeeping during the stay.
- 1/5
Shower does not work, faucet water leaking and sparying everywhere. Tech came to fix for hours. Balcony door does not work. Its pathetic to see such a brand name hotel and relatively expensive giving rooms worst than a motel. Swiming pool good. Restaurant option bad. People work rhere do not know how to use a coffee machine. I regret to book this hotel and spoil my Thanksgiving and spoil mood and vacation. Need fully refund or i will take strong action again this vacation club.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and the room was spotless and very comfortable. The amenities were great!
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacious. One odd thing- the bed was very low. It was a platform bed that went to my husband’s knees. I thought that was odd for an ADA room. Wild Oak Ranch has lots of games out- horseshoes, basketball, ping-pong, giant Jenga, soccer pool, shuffleboard, etc. There are walking trails, playground, lazy river, hot tubs, and water slides.
- 4/5
Room was beautiful. The restaurant was beaing remodeled and the room servoce app was tricky to navigate amd it was difficult to get a hold of a person for help. Other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
Everything about this place was wonderful. There’s really nothing more to say — you just have to experience it yourself. Highly recommended.
- 1/5
NO HOT WATER SMALL HEATER IN ROOM IN A VILLA ROOM HAD 5 FAMILY MEMBER STAY ONLY 1 PERSON GOT TO USE THE SHOWER NOT WORTH IT WAS COLD WANTED TO TAKE WARM SHOWER AND SEND TO HELP WITH HEATER BUT DIDNT DO ANYTHING SO MUCH MONEY YA NEED A BOILER ROOM BUT 30 gallons heater for a whole villa not worth it
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience as a first time guest. Nathan helped us tremendously with accommodations for our daughter’s 13th birthday and we received so many compliments from other parents. The pool and lazy river areas are stunning. We will definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Overall a decent stay, but nothing spectacular.
- 5/5
Great stay at a fantastic resort. Thanks for having me
- 4/5
Amenities
- 2/5
Bed comfortable and room clean and spacious. Check in staff unwelcoming and impatient. Water pressure in shower lowest I’ve ever experienced. Water in room was never hot and only ever warm at best. Obviously trying to cut costs on the water front. Restaurant onsite closed for renovations and while lunch and dinner was available poolside, breakfast was not available on the entire resort. No notice on website and no communication when booking. Overall disappointing and will not be back.
- 5/5
the room was spotless and the staff was very friendly and helpful..especially Alto and Luke
- 5/5
Everything, the room was clean, and the customer service was excellent.
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay at
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay. Lots of amenities on site. Beware through, the free pass to the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas next door, doesn't include parking. That's a flat fee of $35

- 5/5
Such a great experience! Friendly staff, great rooms, and beautiful facilities.
- 4/5
Nice spacious rooms and great location. I would have given it a higher rating but the restaurant was closed. Should have packed food to cook in the room.
- 5/5
Amazing property, great for family travel, affordable, clean, and property has endless fun.

Room was very homey and nice.
- 4/5
Rooms we're clean , property qas beautiful, just dont understand the no breakfast or lack of restaurant ooen early enuf to have breakfast. Think this will be our last time staying at this brand of Hotels. Its a shame i enjoy a clean Hotel with higher-end accommodations
- 5/5
The room was very clean, and all staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
Overall room was OK for our 2 day trip. The property is gorgeous in a nice location. It could have been a better experience if basic amenities like restaurant and pool were operating. There is a great opportunity for management to improve the service and information.
- 4/5
The property is beautiful and the rooms were very neat and clean. Our only complaint was with the manager that checked us in, I believe her name was Meesha? She was not very polite and seemed almost like it bothered her that we were there. Other than that, all other staff members were very nice and courteous.
- 5/5
Great

Great family hotel. Comfortable and convenient to area amenities

Beautiful property and very helpful staff

When my parents arrived before us to check in, the front desk agent was rude and dismissive. They left upset and waited until I arrived, when a gentleman named Diego kindly resolved the issue. After check-in, we encountered multiple problems that made our stay uncomfortable. The fire-pit area was closed both nights, even though it’s a highlight for families. The largest hot tub was out of service — staff said it’s been broken since March — and our unit had no hot water for two days despite several maintenance calls. My mother and I also became sick after eating burgers from the on-site food service. The biggest concern came the first night, when an intoxicated guest backed her truck into mine and drove off unaware. The area was dimly lit and unsafe. We’ve always loved this resort for its family atmosphere, but this trip left us disheartened. Even my son said he’d rather celebrate elsewhere next year. I truly hope management addresses these issues so other families don’t experience the same disappointment.

Room was spacious, bathroom door was dirty. Did not use either pool,
- 5/5
The villa was awesome - spacious, clean, comfortable
- 4/5
Front check in staff i was expecting to be more friendly like a Smile or two . But noticed while even standing in the line they did not had that posture or appearance that you can say o wow . Resort was beautiful neat and tidy room . I booked 01 bed villa which was very specious had all the required necessities. No breakfast on the property . I saw all the reviews for grab and go breakfast from all the last guests they all talk about renovation.Honestly they were right i was told the same . But the day i decided to get that grab and go the front desk said, unfortunately they will open at 11am ( yeah for breakfast). Requested for a late checkout for 1pm,reply was stri tly 10am . So here we go no breakfast . I dont know but the other guest had this same? But still i would not take away our pleasant, comfortable stay in this luxiriuos resort just for few friendly smiles and the breafast . Well i hope Hayatt has such a big name in this hospilaty bussiness that they will overcome these things . Ince again i noticed this which can be just me only .

Staying at this location was relaxing. The atmosphere was very quiet and chill and it felt like you were in your own private community. Staff was very helpful. The amenities they have to offer are unmatched in the sense that they are willing to go above and beyond for what you need. Loved the stay!
- 5/5
Excellent staff, amenities, location near Lackland AFB, great for kids!!
- 5/5
My room was spotless. The property is beautiful and immaculate!! I will definitely be returning here again. I was very pleased
- 5/5
Was a awesome place to stay just didnt like when someone messed with our clothes when we were drying in the public washer and dryer.
- 5/5
Lazy river and sandy beach was a huge hit for us kids loved playing there for hours . Pool was great too , room was fantastic . We will go back soon
- 4/5
The stay in this hotel was comfortable, family oriented, and clean.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff is very attentive, and the location is close to downtown, airport etc.
- 1/5
Would recommend staying somewhere else
- 3/5
The restaurant was closed for inside dining. When we went to order for outside they told us we had to go find a QR code on a table by the pool or one in our room to order and they would deliver - they did not have any at the restaurant to offer. When we tried to order using the QR code it would not take our order saying the restaurant was closed although it was not. The property is very difficult to find where you want to go. Better signage is needed. We felt very pressured to take their sales pitch tour even calling early one morning to see if we had decided to go. Pretty frustrating. It rained while we were there and there was standing water in our sidewalks (3rd fl

The property is very nice and well maintained. The lazy river and pool, including the water slide is tropical, peaceful, just great. Theres a small sandy beach area. Pool was warm. The grounds are beautiful and expansive. The trails are fun to walk and see butterflies. The rooms are well appointed and clean, again very nice. Our negatives were the restaurant was closed for remodel so no food. Restraunts were a drive from the property. Front desk said the restaurant was open when we arrived, it was actually closed for remodel, how did they not know that? The front desk was not the friendliest when we checked in. Did not give us towel cards or wrist bands to pool but definitely charged us the resort fee. Didnt give us any info on the property. Our room was in the last building and in the basement. Very dark and the patio had a view of a stone wall. The building was vacant. The lights didnt come on at dark so trying to see where you were going was difficult. We called and asked if we could be moved up so we could have a view. They said they would call us back. They didnt. We called 30 min later and they said there were no other rooms, they were full. Which was false, our building was dark with minimal people there. They said call back tomorrow. Terrible customer service from that particular staff. The other staff we encountered were nice. The 2 outdoor hot tubs were broken when we there, unfortunately.

Clean awesome staff
- 4/5
The room was great and clean. We enjoyed the pools. The main staff don’t seem to care once you say you are not interested in a timeshare. Part of the nature hikes were good but the rest had trash, old equipment, and it was difficult to have a conversation over the construction noise. We were not impressed with having to wait over 45 minutes for 2 drinks at the pool when it was not busy.
- 5/5
BEAUTIFUL,QUIET, CLEAN, CONVENIENT,EXCELLENT STAFF
- 2/5
$15 Pina colada was nearly non-alcoholic.
- 5/5
We loved this property. Everything was well kept and beautiful. It was not to crowded and the kid's were mostly well behaved. The lazy river was exactly how I had pictured it. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was taken care of with a quick text to the front desk. We will be back
- 5/5
Overall was very impressed with the resort
- 5/5
The onsite restaurant really sucks . It was salty than my wife’s parents when they weren’t invited for this trip. Parking is so so. Spaces fill up fast so you may need to park at a complex no where near yours. Other than that, every thing was 5 plus stars. The staff, the room, the energy and wildlife. It’s the ranch feeling in the middle of San Antonio.
- 3/5
I did not like the 4pm check in and 10 am check out. 6 hour gap! My wife was told we had to be there to ask for an early check-in, then made her wait two hours before letting her have the room just before 4pm. Why on earth can't they service that request by phone so that the GUEST doesn't have to waste their time. I was expecting better onsite dinning facilities, the bar/restaurant felt like a coffee shop with no character so we dined off site. A minor one, but the putting green would have been fun if they had proper putters and nut rubber kids ones. Give the rubber ones to kids and cheap "real" ones to adults with a deposit liked to the room. The green also needs the holes repaired. Just cheap and lazy vibe where they don't care enough about the guest experience.
- 5/5
A perfect gateway from the city.
- 5/5
We came to San Antonio for a BMT Graduation and booked a villa for us and our three children (26, 15, 13). The room was very clean and perfectly situated to be nice and quiet. We were there in early October and the boys swam every day. The only few complaints I have is the property is very dark in the evening. Several parking lot lights weren't ever on. Also, the rooms and bathrooms were very dark. It was difficult to see to apply my makeup without light from the small magnifying mirror. Small things that wouldn't deter me from booking again.
- 4/5
Studio is a bit small for 2 kids and 2 adults but still a good place, location, and good staff to handle all your needs.
- 5/5
Second time in this place and can’t wait to come back!!!
- 3/5
Amenities primarily for families with very young children. Main pool was large but very shallow (2 1/2 ft to 3 1/2 ft. deep). Highlight was lazy river. One Bedroom with kitchen was spacious but bathroom with very deep jacuzzi tub/shower combo. had slippery bottom and very high (over 32") sides making it dangerous to enter and exit. Would not have booked this room if we had known this. Full kitchen OK but no ice maker or ice trays in refrigerator and ice maker at bldg. was not working. Would not return.

Our Villa was clean, well-appointed, had plenty of storage, and was overall very comfortable. My only complaint is not necessarily directed at the Wild Oak staff, but more so with Hyatt. I was pitched to join the Hyatt Club 4 times. After check-in at the front desk, I was directed to visit the concierge desk to pick up my "welcome packet," which contained bracelets to be worn around the resort and pool towel cards. I had noticed the couple sitting at the desk for close to 20 minutes while waiting to check in. I told the woman at the front desk that I had been traveling all day, was anxious to see my son, and was not interested in being "sold". Hyatt called my house before we left for our trip. They called the room 2x, reminding us to visit the concierge to get the damn welcome packet. I told them to go ahead and hold it hostage. How many times do I have to say no?
- 1/5
Sold me a villa but took advantage of the situation and gave me a studio and still charged for a villa. Property is old and not much to do.
- 5/5
This was such a great hidden gem! We stayed with our 3 children (13f,10f, 2m) and they all had plenty to entertain them. My husband and I enjoyed how the resort was laid out and although there was walking we were on shaded paths and not in the hot sun. The amenities in our one bedroom villa were
- 5/5
The grounds and the room were very clean and beautiful! We had most everything we needed. The cleaning staff didn’t speak English so it was difficult to convey to them what we needed. We needed a bar of soap for the kitchen and she gave us towels and wash clothes instead. Maybe a laminated chart with pictures to aid in communication would be beneficial.
- 5/5
Can’t wait to visit this jewel again!!!
- 5/5
Aurora really went above and beyond to assist our party in obtaining a toiletry item. There was a lot of construction, but it really didn’t bother us. The noise didn’t start until after 9 am. We had booked adjoining rooms, but our rooms were separated. Luckily we have 9-16 year olds, but this would have been a problem for families with younger children. There aren’t a lot of dining options on the property, but we did a grocery pick up and had pizza delivered. The room have a toaster, microwave, coffee machine and a small fridge / freezer that works fine. Even though it’s in a woodsy area, it’s easy to drive to many places. There is plenty of free parking so you don’t have to deal with waiting for valet. We’ve stayed a several properties in the area. It’s not the fanciest resort, but I would recommend it as an excellent value for families, especially if you need more than one room.
- 3/5
Ice machine area by our room was under construction and not available. Also tried to order extra towels and wash cloths but only got the towels. Just not a fan of the automated voice system.
- 5/5
Room was very spacious and clean. Had everything we needed to stay a week and make our own meals. The pool and slides were a huge hit with the kids and easy to get to. The different activities they host throughout the week also provide free/cheap extra entertainment. Definitely would recommend for families.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the pool and lazy river so much. The 2 bedroom was amazing and so comfy.
- 5/5
It’s in a great location. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this place again for both business and leisure trips.
- 4/5
The people who had the apartment above us, didn’t respect others making noise early in the morning.
- 3/5
The biggest complaint our room was not ready until 5:30 pm - check in at 4:00 and went to the pool ordered drinks and food took over an hour to receive.
- 4/5
They did not say that we need to request the cleaning for the room. The pool area is just for kids is very low.but all together was okay.
- 5/5
The room was great by being clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was great and the lazy river was so nice and relaxing.
- 5/5
The kitchen was perfect, the rooms big and clean. The lazy river and both water slides made my family super happy. When we needed anything the staff was quick to help!
- 2/5
Second, the restaurant had a broken latte machine and a broken fryer, yet the food was still expensive and bland. Third, the staff were clearly over it, as our $15 drinks contained hardly - if any - alcohol. I never drink due to allergies, but chose to indulge out of necessity and - for better or worse - had zero hint of a headache, which means incredibly little alcohol. Additionally, the forced meeting with the timeshare folks just to get a parking permit is ridiculous and a serious waste of time. Terrible way to start off vacation. But, for all of my complaining, I really like their lazy river and the other pool areas. They’re fantastic. Not worth all the money and other issues, but still very nice.
- 5/5
Beautiful 😍
- 5/5
This place is always relaxing, happy to have stayed.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and the staff was wonderful
- 5/5
We stay every year for our granddaughters birthday. She loves it. Has made a great tradition.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Room was cleaned ok . We had to call them to clean to our room which was wild as we stayed 5 days . The calendar of events was off so my child was disappointed. Took them 3.5 hours to bring toilet paper to our room . Even after we messaged twice . Other than that was a nice place to stay . I feel like nothing is great anymore just soso .
- 2/5
Room didn’t look cleaned before our arrival.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
We loved it. Really great hotel
- 5/5
The o nly complaint I have is the limited view off of the balcony. The trees are grown up and cant see more than 10 feet. The branches need thinned to allow some sort of view. Otherwise eeverything was great. Awesome place to stay with lots too do just steps from your room.
- 5/5
The room and facilities were wonderful.
- 4/5
The property is stunning. The staff were all super nice. Plenty for the kids to do.
- 5/5
Second time staying there and i loved it
- 5/5
The last river is amazing
- 4/5
They do not offer breakfast and restaurant closes a little realy in my opinion. The front desk staff at check out was terrible. She was rude and not attentive at all. Which was very different from check in. Check in was very pleasant.
- 5/5
Wonderful lazy river
- 4/5
3rd time to stay is a great resort. Giving them a 4 due to a $30 daily resort fee charge. Only used the room. Was in pool one of 3 days for 1 hour. If you are going to charge an additional charge include in cost on front end.
- 1/5
We were not expecting the sales pitch for the Vacation Club. We spent 5 hrs with Sales rep. After we signed up for the club, we went back to our room and read more details of the contract. We had questions and began researching what we bought. Turns out the BBB rated this vacation club "F". We sent in our club cancellation letter the very next day. If you don't mind a lot of families, no restaurant that serves take out breakfast only and hearing a lot of yelling past 11:00 pm from adults, then this is the place for you. Do not recommend.
- 5/5
Quiet, comfortable and I love their kitchenette. We were assigned on the 3rd floor villa, thankful there’s an elevator.
- 3/5
The lazy river and sand beach was great area for kids. We had to put all the linens on sofa bed yet they ask you to take all linens off all beds when you leave and remove all trash from room. They have no restaurant for breakfast just some premade food. Which you can take back to room. Our room had silverware but no plates. The water machine was great in lobby. Overall over priced.
- 5/5
Very nice resort especially for family. It was clean and nice we had the one bedroom nice hot tub in bathroom double sink el balcony along with full size washer n dryer n appliances
- 5/5
The property was pleasant, the room itself was excellent. Thank you for wonderful stay.
- 4/5
The pool, lazy river and grounds were excellent!! The staff was extremely couteous and helpful! Well done! Building are a older. Although redecorated, need some repair. Wouldd recommend and will be back;)) ty!!
- 3/5
Outdoor pool was nice, easy parking.
- 5/5
Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Everything about it was way more than I expected and would go back to Texas just to stay there! The lazy river, rooms, pools, property is just stunning.
- 5/5
I want to come again . So so so lovely and beautiful. This is pure vacation ! ❤️
- 5/5
Pool was great
- 5/5
Nice room
- 4/5
Great family friendly resort
- 5/5
The pool was cold one day and warm the next but had a great time.
- 5/5
Fire pits w/s'more's are advertised till 9pm, but actually close by 8:30pm for lighting. We had a few porch lights out in front of room and the water heater for the double room suite was very small for a unit with 2 baths, laundry and dish washer. We ran out of hot water after just three showers. However, would stay again.
- 5/5
Overall, the experience was relaxing and what I expected, except for the keys not working during my entire stay, having to speak to a concierge to get a parking permit, and not enough luggage carts available.
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
I loved the scenery, rattle snake river, pools, and the room had the coziest bed and pillows. The only thing that I would recommend to the property manager would be to get some ADA compliant bars in the tubs or have some shower chairs available for guests who are mobility impaired. My mother had the most difficult time showering because she cannot stand up for more than a few seconds without the help of shower bars.
- 5/5
Everything was Perfect
- 5/5
We loved staying here will return
- 3/5
There was construction right by our room that woke us up very early every morning. The front desk staff was extremely rude.. If not for the wonderful pool my kids loved, I’d rate it lower.
- 5/5
It was a great place to take the family and relax. I highly recommend it!
- 5/5
Beautiful luxury property. Very nice staff.
- 3/5
The personal at the reception is slow and not friendly When I checked in, they didn’t give me the room number and I had to come back to ask the room number…
- 4/5
Great property. The only thing I did not like was that the checkout time was early, 10 am.
- 3/5
The resort was perfect for young families that utilize their kitchen in the room. The lazy river and beach area was nice. However, there was a lack of dining choices. The restraint on the premises had okay food with 5 star prices. Having stayed at several other resorts, I was looking for more dining choices and more of a sports bar experience. Also, the resort offered one pickleball court and no tennis court. Our balcony had nice trees to view, but the traffic noise was overwhelming.
- 5/5
A few of the reviews worried me, but I'm so glad we stayed here! We stayed as a family with our 4 & 7 year olds, and being a smaller resort, it was perfect for them. We loved the slides, lazy river / sandy beach area, and hot tubs scattered around the grounds. It rained a bit while we were there, so the pools / lazy river being heated was great! So great to have dry and warm towels available as well. The s'mores were fun. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Yes, the pool and lazy river had a few leaves because of all the live oak trees, but it wasn't bad at all (didn't feel gross), and totally worth it for such pretty surroundings. We also appreciated that they allow you to use the amenities before check-in and after check-out. The price was so worth what you get here. Our room was on the ground level in the Mountain Laurel building. Even with the rain, we didn't have one bug in the room. It was very clean, bed was comfy, water was hot and had great pressure. A few little things may have some wear on them, but overall, it was great - absolutely nothing to complain about! Also, getting our parking pass from the timeshare desk wasn't bad at all - they were not pushy at all and really super nice. I am so glad we found this place. Definitely a hidden gem!
- 5/5
Loved every minute of this place! 3 nights was amazing. Can’t wait to come back
- 5/5
The stay was awesome very quiet with a lot of activities and great customer service I will be back!!
- 5/5
i like
- 5/5
Love the property!
- 4/5
We had an overall decent experience at the property. Definitely they can do certain more upgrades around the property to make it more attractive. My major concern was that there was a bug in one of the comforter/blanket. We requested more blankets at night as it was chilly, they got us the blanket and it was in plastic and good thing I noticed that bug before opening the bag. Definitely looked like a bed bug and hence I couldn’t sleep properly at all the 1st night as I was just frantically checking all my linens at 2am.
- 5/5
Beautiful property that is well maintained. Front desk checked in with us often making sure everything was exceeded. Room was very clean and updated and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Only negative was our master bedroom door didn't shut properly or lock. Other than that pools were great and plenty of amenities.
- 4/5
Highly recommend. The one thing is the restaurant was very slow and the fryer was not working.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly but they had a hard time getting me into a room at check-in. Had to wait an extra hour to get my room.
- 4/5
Great stay with great service. Pool bathrooms and room living room weren’t too clean. Found lots of dust and hairs around couch area, but bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Pool bathrooms need renovation, the carpet is very dirty.
- 5/5
Beautiful property
- 5/5
I can say I liked everything about this place. It really gave my kids, my husband and I a really fun and unique experience. The place is beautiful, clean amd very convenient. I really appreciate that the rooms have a kitchen and that it provides activities for children amd adults at no extra charge. There few activities that have a fee, but the price os very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.
- 5/5
Great pools and slide ! Room was great! Full kitchen, washer/dryer, very nice !
- 4/5
pool great, bathroom just ok, not sure about security. could smell people smoking weed time to time.
- 5/5
Had a great stay! The villa was clean and comfortable. Family had lots of fun with the amenities and activities. Will definitely recommend!
- 2/5
The property was clean when we arrived in the room but it had bugs in it. Not bedbugs but another type of bug crawling around the room. They gave us another room and that room had the same bugs in it.
- 1/5
Hidden fees, all kind of critters in bedroom, spider, cocroach etc. Internet never worked.rusted patio door, rude staff.
- 2/5
The rooms were decent, but needing weather stripping under the door as there is a gap and bugs coming in. I was truly disappointed as I have stayed at the other Hyatt property w/ a lazy river. This hotel property does not even compare to the other Hyatt property that has a lazy river.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and room had a lot of amenities
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds, nice amenities and friendly staff, our rooms were very clean and updated

Nice property. Our room was in good condition and well maintained. Nice amenities.
- 5/5
My family and myself love this property, so much fun at the Rattlesnake river and at the pools
- 5/5
The staff was super nice
- 4/5
Our room was nice and the bed is VERY comfortable. Front Desk staff are awesome!!! Most staff were great! Daily events for family was fun! Smores at night is a wonderful thing to do. Lazy River is fantastic! Tubes were located in so many places. The Pool is clean and the slides were great!
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
Relaxing environment
- 5/5
Perfect for families. Our children were very engaged!
- 4/5
We were looking for a quiet no-stress birthday week for myself and my son. The lazy river was just that. We'll be back.
- 5/5
Property was nestled under the trees on a large amount of property. Felt like you were in the middle of the hill country when you weee actually in the city limits of San Antonio. Nice pool and lazy river.
- 4/5
Quiet lazy river was good. At room: Suggested to: load dishwasher, put out trash, strip bedlinen at checkout day. We did so, but i will bring my own housekeeper for next stay, so i can stay on vacation mode.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice, quiet, and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
- 3/5
The restaurant was terrible. The pool bar was closed for undisclosed reasons during a weekend stay. We enjoyed the lazy river and that’s it. Rooms were clean but the facilities lacked adult beverage service, food quality, couldn’t bring coolers inside pool area’s and the fact that the pool bar remained closed with no alternative options will be the reason we don’t return. I would rather pay more and get my moneys worth. Disappointed
- 5/5
We had a blast in the lazy river.
- 1/5
Toe nail clippings in our room, dirty cups, dirt in bathtub, disgusting restrooms at the pool, no staff at the pool and clueless when there was. Bar was closed on a SATURDAY. Drinks were watered down at $15. Restaurant had only two workers on a Saturday. Sunday the restaurant was closed. We paid more for a suite than my brother did for a one bedroom and my sister did for a two bedroom. Things aren’t making sense. Then I still had to pay a resort fee and deposit over $300. Wish I could get a partial refund but I know Expedia is impossible to work with.
- 2/5
Be aware there is a $75 resort fee. Both pool bars were closed, the restaurant was never open, 2 servers for the whole resort, and incorrect food was brought. I’m unsure why there was a $75 fee when there was no staff anywhere or any extras. When I questioned the $75 I was told it was for the complementary parking. Also, the one drink I was able purchase was watered down and I was not the only one who said this.
- 5/5
Love the lazy river & pool. Staff is friendly, property and rooms are very clean. Would stay again!
- 5/5
This property is expansive, full of trees and plants that make you feel like you’re out in the country, even though you are minutes from the highway. The rooms are nice, accommodated well, with very comfy beds. The resort is full of opportunities to create memories with your family. Water slides, large pool, on-site restaurant, larger, BBQ station with multiple grills, multiple fire pits under plant adorned pergolas, putting green, nearby golf course, two horseshoes pits, walking trails plus a little playground, perfect for your very little ones.
- 5/5
It was very enjoyable and fun. Definitely can see myself returning.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was slow and kids working pool side had no interpersonal skills or customer service skills
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the pool and lazy river!
- 5/5
I love the lazy river and the convenience to have a restaurant right on the property. Also the pool is very nice with the waterslode. Great for families and adults looking to spend their anniversary.
- 4/5
JB's for lunch & dinner carryout was good as always. Tobey waited on us and we appreciated his helpfulness and friendliness. Our deadbolt lock on door was not working, but when I called front desk, they sent repairman right away. The desk clerk at check in swiped my credit card 3 times. This concerned me & when I checked my account upon return home my card was charged 3 times for the complete hotel charge. I called the manager and she corrected the error.
- 3/5
Was not impressed. No cleaning service. Had to ask for towels and washclothes.
- 4/5
The Villa was very nice but way too cluttered with furniture. Very hard to walk around the large pieces of furniture in a rather small space. Staff was excellent and bang for the buck very good.
- 5/5
My family love it will definitely go back again!!
- 5/5
Wife and I just stayed one night for a quick anniversary getaway for the day. Lots to do at the resort and very near a multitude of restaurants. Loved the lazy river and pool area, and the nature hike was fun to do early in the morning.
- 5/5
By far one of the best hotel stays I have ever had anyone who comments different is impossible to please. Best bed, best lazy river, best scenery. I highly recommend it especially if you’re visiting someone from the Airforce base. My son and I had a fun but relaxing time. I’d give it 10 stars if I could
- 4/5
I felt like there were some small things like A pubic hair in our tub on the shampoo bottle And our t v didn’t work most of the time Also a part to the current fell off for no reason But other than tht was a pretty good experience
- 5/5
Loved the lazy river
- 3/5
Room clean, beds comfy. Used the kitchen and utensils provided - items do need to be updated. Food got seriously stuck in the frying pan and in the soup pot! Bring own cooking oil ! Nice big refrigerator too. No complete utensils, plates available for # of people staying in room. PROBLEM: Wasn’t informed of routine, so upsetting trash was not emptied daily and used towels weren’t picked up and replaced daily. Had to request. Parking closest to bldg., fills up fast, but overfill parking available nearby but not well lit at night. VACATION EXPENSE: Heads-up, Wow! $8 for a mini melt tub of ice cream, $8 for a regular milkshake cup & so on @ site, jb’s poolside eatery - loved their chicken strips! All in all though, love the surroundings of site.
- 4/5
Overall, we loved our one night stay here and would love to return. That being said, there are definitely some improvements that could be made such as clearer instructions to getting to your room, more dining options, and pest control. We rented the 2 bedroom villa and encountered quite a few water bugs in our room, we even watched one come out from underneath the front door even though it was closed. I was disappointed by the dining options as well. This is a huge, beautiful property with one single restaurant that only serves “ready made breakfast” from 8 am to 10 am I believe. That didn’t work with our schedule. The pool is very nice and the lazy river with a small beach was definitely the highlight of the trip. The grounds are sprawling and there is definitely a lot of walking to be done. It was very hot but there was thankfully a lot of shade around the property.
- 3/5
I tried to shower at different times to see if that was an issue, nope just no hot water. Beware of steps at night. The lighting is dim so pay attention to where you step. First night I was there I didn’t see the step because the area near elevators was dark and sprained my ankle. It was one hell of a fall.
- 2/5
Also, there were roaches in the pool towels.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
can’t wait to come back! only complaint is no breakfast :(
- 4/5
We give the trip 4 stars only because the photos made some parts seem more amazing than they were. The arcade does have broken games and that was sad. The food was ok at JBs. The lazy river and beach made the whole trip for us. It was so nice and relaxing. But not sure why they have porta potty’s by it and not real restrooms. The kids club is only open for making slime or crafts. The kids wanted to play in there and it was always closed. Sadly the slides do not allow kids under 48 inches tall so again kind of a loss. But honestly after those small things, we really enjoyed it.
- 5/5
im love this place
- 5/5
Great place for a family.
- 5/5
We loved how clean and comfortable the room was and lazy river was very nice only thing we didnt like how it gets super shallow at entrance and we'd have to stand up and navigate to avoid hitting anyone other than that was amazing pool was great as well big and nice shaded area too and jacuzzi was awesome our bodies were so relaxed when we got out
- 4/5
Property is big and is quite a walk but beautiful place. Room was great only issue was we could here the next room kid making a bunch of noise at 2am and hotel phone didn't work. I would recommend a stay with ur family as it was a great experience overall
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Everything excellent
- 3/5
Booked this property for a week for my son’s graduation. This place was very overrun with kids, which is great if that’s what you are aiming for. However, it was quite challenging for us. The staff did not do a good job reining in the kids- e.g. there were 6 kids in the gym that was supposed to be 16 and up, but no one around to tell them to get out. There were kids in the hot tubs, even close to when they closed. Ordered drinks at the pool, and they were okay. Loved the lazy river, but would have also liked there to be a little more attention to kids there as well. If you have kids and want them to run wild- this is definitely the place! Grounds were beautiful, which made me wonder how they managed to keep them that way- best part of the place.
- 2/5
2.) Theres alot of golf cart yet no one could give you ride to walk going to restaurant or to any part of your vacation stay at hyatt. 3.)Inconsiderate of your situation they wont ask you if its ok to be on 3rd floor or no. 4.) Theres alot of bugs on the bed we ended up having alot of bites when we woke up.
- 5/5
The ac was not working

Great place for families
