From the check in to the checkout awesome. The staff was wonderful and the rooms super clean and very spacious. The bed so comfortable and the bathroom excellent clean. The pool area was fantastic. The breakfast was awesome they had waffles cereals, coffee three types of juice. Sorts of milk to meet everyone's dietary needs. I would definetly stay again here. 5STAR STAY.

Room was freezing cold—temp set at 65;tried to raise it to 70, without any luck. Ended up shutting a/c off. I have stay at this particular Residence Inn 3 previous times.

The front desk was so nice and friendly. The facilities were clean and the breakfast bar was great! I didnt like how the basketball court was out in front of the hotel, and that there wasn’t any seating for the parents to watch their kids play. I also didn’t like that housekeeping didn’t make our beds for a 3 night stay.

The room is very large and comfortable. Plenty of places to plug in chargers. The kitchen facilities were perfect with glasses and plates that came in handy for the leftovers that we brought back to the room. The light in the shower area was terrible. It was like showering by candlelight. We needed to use the couch and there were no extra sheets or blankets to set up the pull out couch. We needed to call down but they are usually in the room.

The staff was so friendly! The property had a bunch of cool amenities, outside firepit with tv’s outside, a large turf with seating in the back, a basketball court?? The room was spacious with a full kitchen and large fridge/freezer. I’ve stayed at several of the hotels in this area and I will 100% be coming back to this one. My ONLY complaint is the toilet could be scrubbed better… My husband said the toilet seat felt like it was loose but I didn’t feel anything. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay!

Great stay

The room was in decent condition but the lack of toilet paper and stained blankets could have been avoided. We asked for sheets to place on the couch for our 13 year old and the sheets had a small tear and obvious blood stains on it. We had no body wash in our bathroom. The container was attached to the wall but it was empty the whole stay.

When we arrived, we were welcomed with snacks and a cute Happy Birthday sign. We were very appreciative. Breakfast was yummy, and they had an adorable bomb fire outside for us to enjoy. Overall, very happy with our experience. We even took our 2 German Shepards to enjoy it with us.

Best stay ever, everything was cleaned. I requested extra pillows and they gave them with no hesitation. Front desk was very nice and also staff. Will refer and will stay again.

Outstanding experience! Felt like home away from home. Room was spacious and accommodating with full kitchen available. Excellent selection of healthy and baked items included with breakfast, coffee was delicious and always full and dining area was cozy and clean. Enchanting court yard with family friendly games and relaxation. Lastly the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely staying again.

Had to pay for parking in a NON secure parking lot! Picture of coffee maker room was not as it was. It was only their predone pods. No dish soap in the kitchen for a long stay hotel. Entry counter was leaning so bad you couldn't put anything on it without it rolling off. Drawers on dresser wouldn't stay closed, outlet covers missing, TV was disgusting and hadn't been cleaned neither was the head board. The toilet paper holder is behind the door in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. When I talked to the staff was told oh I'm sorry and that was it. The first day they only had chicken sausage for the meat option at breakfast. The only positive thing we can say about this hotel is the location was great the rest of the hotel not so. The mattress was so wore out that it made a v shape in the middle. I would definitely NOT recommend this Hotel. Oh the lighting in the room was terrible as well and the shelf I bathroom was coming off the wall.

The hotel was going thru a renovation and the first night we woke up at 4 am and couldn't breathe very well due to the thick solder smoke from them working on plumbing on thre floor below us. Then we constantly had issues with extremely loud construction noises. Also the water was cut off each night from midnight till 4 am and it was aslo cut off during the day multiple times. Also they had to come in a reseat the toilet because it was leaking on the floor below. It was one issue aftet another we were told that a managet would call and talk to us about reducing the cost of our stay, especially since it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. We came to this same hotel 6 years ago and this was our 6th year anniversary which was absolutely unacceptable.

She always left our room spotless, tidy, and with a fresh, welcoming atmosphere—something we truly appreciated throughout our stay. The breakfast staff was equally excellent. Although we didn’t get their names, we noticed and appreciated their friendliness and consistent effort to keep everything clean, organized, and well-stocked every morning. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, it was clean, well-maintained, and a great addition to the overall experience. Beyond the facilities, what truly made this stay special was the attention and care from the staff. They made us feel at home—something that’s increasingly rare these days. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Antonio.

Great stay

Upon check in, I asked if another room might be available. I was told that because I booked through a third party website (they always tell me it’s Expedia), I could not make any changes to my original reservation. I’ve been offered an upgrade if I’m willing to pay for the upgrade. I found this unsatisfactory that I couldn’t be accommodated if I was willing to pay more. As far as the room went, the sofa couch and bed itself was uncomfortable. Room 216. I would call several times over the course of two nights and several times, I would get no answer and had to keep calling. For staying 2 nights, I expected to have my room tended. Sheets changed, new towels, empty trash, etc. but no one tended our room. The pool was nice but I feel that there better options for my family next time.

To echo my other review, the pool was shared and it was usually full.

Really didn’t like there was a shared pool and it wasn’t even that big but overall it was a decent stay.

The pool and the customer service. My room the AC did not work properly, there was not a kitchen drawer, for the price we paid that’s crazy! They should not sell a room like that. The dressing on was so uneven the drawer continue stay out of their place, you have to pay $10 dollar a night for parking! And last please don’t ask a room with a sofa cama they are really, really uncomfortable, we were not able to rest on the sofa which we needed it to. Please pay attention to that.

You had three wonderful staff members that worked hard to make this stay a pleasant experience. You had one young lady when I first arrived that was not helpful at all. I didn't like the fact the young lady at the front desk didn't properly assist us when we arrived. She told us that our rooms were not ready, even though she never looked at the computer. She never even asked our name when we told her we had requested an early check in. Later in the day I found out that the room I had reserved back in March was not available due to renovations going on. I was never notified ahead of time. When I spoke with the young lady about a different room all she offered was a down grade. When I asked about a two bedroom suite, she said I could have it for the two days I would be there but that the room was not clean yet. When I came back around 330 pm the new desk clerk informed me I would only have that room for one day and have to down grade the next day because that room was already booked. My question is how is my reservation not honored but another one is?

1st: The room had missing furniture, a side drawer was replaced by a small round table. 2nd: the ice maker in the room was broken. 3rd: The bed sheets didn’t fit the bed really. 4th: no front desk help was missing from 1am to 5am when I was seeking help for the bed sheets. I was signed up for some rewards program without my permission, was told about it afterwards.

Won't let me check in

The staff was incredible! Super helpful, friendly, energetic. You could tell everyone really took pride in their jobs - housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast staff, front desk. Pool & courtyard were well kept and we enjoyed that one evening too. Location is <5 min from restaurants, Target & shopping plus about 5-7 min to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Conveniently located to Six Flags Fiesta in an upscale suburban San Antonio area. Short Uber to the park. It's way cheaper to Uber to the park than pay for parking. An abundance of restaurants near by. Comfortable, large room. Nice, free breakfast. Excellent coffee in the lobby. Two things did bother us. First, there were no signs of recycling for plastic water bottles or paper. Second, this hotel has no ice machines. Weird!

Beautiful hotel and staff was amazing

We were there for my kids soirt camp, so we needed a space with a kitchen and being available to do laundry. Even though the laundry has a cost ($1.5 usd) the maytag machines are really good, you need to ask in reception about coins (bring cash!). The pool are ia great for families and you always can go to the next hotel for a starbucks (or a beer). Very next to target, six flags and restaurants.

The room was great. I loved having the kitchen setup. The front desk personal were quick about taking care mine and my families needs during our stay. Breakfast could have a few more different hot items, but overall it was a good breakfast.

We had a great stay at this Residence Inn. Now onto Residence Inn in Austin Tx.

My family and I really enjoyed this stay. We only stayed 3 nights at this hotel, but really have nothing to complain about. The hotel was clean and so was the room. Breakfast was served every morning, and we enjoyed the choices. Parking was easy and a lot of parking at the time we were there. Pool was also clean and really nice. Overall a good stay. The only draw back is that it shares a pool and “courtyard” area with the sister hotel right next to it, so there was more people one of the nights in that shared area than expected.

Honest review here. Our room was junk. Microwave busted and smoked from the motor. Toilet barely flushed. Clogged twice. First time they did nothing. Second time I was given a plunger. None of the drawers stay closed and are exposed to critical walkways, meaning your path to the bathroom is booby-trapped. The walls in the hallways have scratches up and down the walls. The elevator smelled like wet dog. 3 separate times we had to go to desk for things inoperable or unusable. Had better experiences at holiday inn for less than I paid here. It is spring break however and I do take this into account.

Understaffed with advertised bar not open, okay service and paid parking that was not conveyed and no reasoning for it.

They cancelled my hotel an hour before check in on my valentines date and tried to make up for it by giving me some points and offering me an alternative hotel 50 minutes away…almost laughable.

Lot of business around. Parking lot has a private company who monitors/watch parked vehicles via camera. Additional fee is required.

I wasn’t able to get the room I wanted. I was told they were sold out and had to get whatever was left which was not what I payed for.

We stayed over Thanksgiving due to a family member being in the hospital. Our room was dirty to say the least I brought it up to the front desk the next morning and told her something had crawled on my arm but i couldn’t find what it was. I offered to clean the room myself if they could provide me with supplies. She said no that they would take care of it. That evening when we got back they Had Not taken care of it. Only left clean sheets so I could change them. On the bed I found what looked like tiny spider notified front desk and also let them know housecleaning had only gone and left clean sheets and so I changed them out. after I changed out the sheets and laid down to sleep something crawled on my again so we grabbed it with a Kleenex and took it to front desk.They moved us to another room which was much cleaner. Was told they would compensate with adding points to my member acct so I could get a free night and guess what, that hasn’t happened.

Check in process was smooth, staff were friendly. However the room itself is out of dated. Once you're inside the rooms, la quinta rooms looks cleaner. Stains and furniture looks nasty. I literally sprayed lysol and wiped everything down as much as I can. And used me own blanket. For the price of close to 200 I was expecting a much cleaner comfortable room. Ibwont be returning due to quality of the rooms.

We were placed in a room with a broken shower head. We noticed it by the time it was super late. The staff and the maintenance were super helpful on finding a temporary solution for the night.

Stay was amazing. Great customer service, rooms were clean, location was perfect (everything was close by) seemed like a great neighborhood. If we could change one thing about our stay it would be the swimming pool, it only goes to 3 1/2 feet. Our kids are older so they couldn’t really enjoy it as much. Other than that everything was great. Free breakfast was a plus!

My only complaint is the $10 per night parking fee in a suburban area with plenty of parking. The parking fee is simply a covert means to raise the price. It was not disclosed when booking.

Great outdoor space. The back yard area where the pool is had such a nice space. Yes, it is slightly older but well taken care of. Was glad for the laundry capabilities. Some reviews had mentioned car break in's. However, they can not help what criminals do. This property are going OUT OF THEIR way to keep your vehicles secure. Multiple sensors and a security service monitoring. I was so thankful for that. Will stay here again for sure. Close to anything you'd need.

A perfect place for a family to stay. Rooms were large and livable for even a famjly of four. The staff at this property was literally amazing. They answered every call with a sense of urgency and met all of our needs right away. VERY friendly and helpful. They offered plenty of linens without question and we actually needed more they probably expected for us. We were dislocated from the storm so they gave us a later check out to make sure we had power before returning to Houston. The only thing I had to voice concerns about was that our room was a full kitchen but lacked a microwave, which turned out to be the only thing we needed besides the fridge. The front desk clerk took notes down to address it asap. However, I was so pleased with everything else that it didn't even bother me. We had access to one at the front so it was really not a problem. 10/10 recommend. Will def book here again!
