Place was clean and staff was accommodating. Riverwalk was a 5 minute walk and the Alamo just a couple of block away. They charge for parking but there is plenty of street parking and it’s pretty safe. The one thing they can improve on is breakfast but it can get you by. Coffee was great
- 5/5
The front desk girl was so sweet! Bless her! I don’t remember her name but she checked us in and she was the absolute best!

There was a cockroach and the light was not working in the bathroom when we got in. The walls in the bathroom were dirty. Street parking was not great.
- 2/5
The breakfast was now appealing or tasteful no fruit, oatmeal watery, no Pancakes or waffles, not a good selection of juice! Icemaker didn’t work, door key didn’t work X 3 went up and down to desk to rekey! Parking wasn’t available, had to park on the street and got a parking ticket ticket!
- 3.5/5
Nice rooms. Can easily walk to the river and follow downtown or go three streets over to Broadway and leads to the busier section of downtown San Antonio. $35 to park a car is a little steep. For hotel guests should be $15 or $20 overnight. Surely takes away the appeal of staying here. Breakfast ain't free paying that parking price.
- 5/5
I like everything atthis Hotel. Good Coustomer service Nothing
- 3/5
My family and I selected this hotel because of the breakfast buffet however it was not a breakfast buffet. It was basically a grab and go breakfast, scrambled eggs and sausage balls. Very disappointing especially when we checked in the front desk clerk stated we would have pancakes, eggs your eggs, the works. Then we were advised during check in parking was $35 PER DAY! Which is crazy because we were told about paying for parking and definitely not $35. We never had housekeeping during our stay.
- 4.5/5
The room was lovely, extremely clean and everything you could possibly need. 10/10. The location was fab, just across the road and you are at all the main attractions within minutes. You couldn't ask for better. I would love to stay here again. Staff were good, but had limited knowledge of the area. I appreciate they are not there to be any sort of guide, but just basic local information would be helpful
- 2.5/5
It was peaceful There were trash bags outside the rooms and it was two days in a roll. They never told us the towels we don’t get extra towels or clean room till I checked out
- 5/5
Breakfast was pretty good. Lights turned on at nights scared the crap out of me.
- 5/5
Very spacious room, love the apartment feel. New modern kitchen and decor. Bed design is cute but mattress was not the best. Typical hotel mattress, sheets and covers are soft. Clean bedding and showers. Smells good in the rooms. Great storage for extended stay! Definitely easy access to local attractions. Easy for families, and military.

The location is excellent behind the Alamo. The suite room is great for space and comfort.
- 4/5
We booked a room with 2 queen beds and also used the sofa sleeper as an extra bed, so you’d think it was a tight squeeze, but it was surprisingly still pretty spacious. Our kids loved staying here, and I felt safe throughout our entire stay.
- 4/5
Staff extremely friendly & helpful. However, no TV for 1 day they blamed the service provider and breakfast not great for someone like me with celiac desease but ive found thats pretty normal unfortunately.

The room was clean and spacious, the water was hot and the breakfast was good!

Didn’t enjoy the breakfast
- 5/5
It was close to the Alamo. Breakfast was good. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay everyone was professional, I love the room, I was their for a women’s conference. I loved most was the safety of the property, how you can’t get into the property without a key to scan or get to your floor. The only thing I was a little upset about the breakfast, they did not have pancakes or a waffle station, most hotel with a continental breakfast has that, but for the most part I had a wonderful stay with Sonestra, ES Suites and I will return and recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
It was amazing. Clean rooms, great staff, nice pool, great location.
- 3/5
Disappointed in the room no ice maker as promised in the room and there were on ice machine in the hotel. For 35 dollars a night I would think the parking would be much better. No access to the hotel from the parking garage was the pits, and the carts for the luggage was a joke. Will have to find another location when we go back in December.
- 4/5
Super close to the riverwalk and convention center! Felt very safe!
- 5/5
Everything is clear, excellent attention at the couno pretty professional

- 4/5
The parking very inconvenient.
- 5/5
Good location! I was able to walk to the Rock Box/Vibes without any issues. Also near the River Walk and Alamo.
- 5/5
The room was excellent. The staff was so courteous. We have stayed at Sonesta everytime we come to San Antonio. We always enjoy our time tgere.
- 4/5
I love that it’s so close to the main downtown tourist spots. I attended a nursing conference and walked everywhere. It was very convenient.
- 5/5
Loved the room set up , it felt like a small apartment , it was cozy and very convenient as I had a child with me ,
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff and breakfast.

Está bien para una noche pero casi no había agua caliente y te cobran por estacionamiento del cual no te dicen

We had a suite in at this beautiful hotel. Very clean, great breakfast. Walking distance to the Alamo and the Riverwalk.
- 5/5
Very close to the Alamo and the River Walk. Super helpful staff, great amenities in the room, and awesome hot breakfast to start the day!

Room set up was spacious, cozy and homey. Loved it!
- 5/5
the location was perfect was walking distance to where we needed to go. the hotel was perfect!
- 5/5
Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice and staff was attentive to all the stations and seating area. Comfortable beds and large spacious room. Could have supplied more towels since housekeeping is weekly for the most part, instead 4 nights. Overall great value and location.
- 4/5
Room was clean. The only thing that I didn't like was that when you open the sofa bed, you can't open the door between rooms.
- 5/5
Stay was good. 2 bedroom was the best idea
- 5/5
Easy access, within walking distance of the Alamo and the Riverwalk. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice place, super clean and super nice staff
- 5/5
Only issue is the bathtub and sink were slow to drain, and we were not able to connect to the front desk from our in-room telephone. However pros more than outweighed the cons, and we would prob stay here again for future travel back to San Antonio.
- 5/5
I loved staying here because you could walk to the river walk in just a few minutes. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast that comes with the booking. Not only was there no waffle/pancake station, the eggs, sausage, and potatoes were absolutely horrible. The next morning I went down to the river walk and bought breakfast.
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Varied choices.
- 5/5
Parking filled too quick had to park over on the next block in the public Parking other than that everything was great
- 5/5
clean room very good Breakfast parking a bit tight but hope they can fixed the leak
- 5/5
Excellent stay and room is big. Easy walking to the Alamo with good price.
- 4/5
The Hotel was clean but could use some touch ups. Our room was pretty humid and stuffy but everything else was fine.
- 5/5
Great place to stay near The Alamo
- 5/5
Breakfast was ok . Good location
- 5/5
Place was great room was awesome I would stay here again
- 2/5
Fire alarm kept going off throughout the night, waking us up. Iron did not work. Dishwasher was not connected to cabinet and fell right out. Did not work. No one ever answered when we called the front desk. It took several requests to get an iron to us. I heard several leather guests also complaining.
- 3/5
Breakfast are was clean and plentiful. Room was not so clean. Had to stay in and use the microwave, but the microwave was filthy. Had to ask for dish soap since there was none in the room.
- 5/5
Everything wonderful
- 5/5
Hotel is great nice and clean great breakfast, the staff at the desk is not the nicest that’s all I got to say about that
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
It's close to the Alamo!!!!!!
- 3/5
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired (specifically in the bathroom). We also checked in and had no running water in our room for over 5 hours before being given a new room. However, the location is top notch-a short walk to the riverwalk without the big price tag of staying directly on it.
- 5/5
Hot breakfast; easy parking in connected garage
- 5/5
Breakfast was great
- 5/5
Location, location, location ! Awesome, easy access and close walking distance to the Alamo and River Walk, and River Center shopping mall, nice complimentary breakfast with good assortment of food and drink items. Competitive prices and ample rooms. Comfortable beds and full furnished kitchen and real size appliances. Surpassed my expectations.
- 5/5
Got to see some of downtown from the top floor. Very beautiful and amazing
- 3/5
Our stay was not the best, Tv in second bedroom didn't work. Talked to maintenance but was a no show. Phone line didn't work, put my steps in for sure. Dirty sheets on pull out bed. Thank goodness we brought our own! Parking charge was $45 per day! Spoke to staff about the issues and was told sorry?? Breakfast was terrible and repetitive! Asking for towels was like pulling teeth! The full size fridge, stove and dish washer was a plus! Beds were comfortable!
- 5/5
My stay was pleasant, you do have to ask for housekeeping, which I did and all they did was set towels and sheets in the room. The parking is a bit high so there is a paid parking located across the street that I used each day. Parking from 8am-6pm then after is free. Convenient walk to all the shops and riverwalk.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
The only issues we had was the key card would give us issues gettin in the room, living room tv would stop working and a few outlets didnt work
- 5/5
Great rooms , having a kitchen is very helpful
- 5/5
Our room was very comfy and we liked the small kitchen.
- 5/5
Parking was easy and very accessible
- 4/5
Close to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Breakfast was good and fresh.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and it just felt good to know that the parking garage was safe and secure.
- 5/5
Parking was expensive. No room clean up if after 11
- 5/5
Good location, clean, quiet area
- 5/5
The breakfast was a nice addition. Always with scrambled eggs, meats either bacon or sausage and potatoes for the hot offerings and cold like pancakes, bagels, hot oatmeal, cereal, then for drinks coffee, tea, juices. Really a nice array of choices for the prize. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient and lots of extras like a stove and full fridge. No valet , no ice maker (we were able to get ice from the front desk).
- 3/5
When we arrived, the water wasn't working in the whole hotel, and we weren't told that until AFTER we paid for the room. That was the case with some other guests as well. The rooms were cleaned only upon request. The drainage in the shower was AWFUL. The parking garage didn't feel safe as there were no barrier gates or doors to keep walkers from the street coming in and stealing and possibly mugging some folks. The hotel staff didn't seem confident or comfortable talking to guests and answering simple questions about the hotel and the surrounding area.
- 5/5
Staff was great and hotel was nice and clean. Rooms are perfect with apartment like kitchen .
- 1/5
We arrived earlier than the check-in time and were informed that our room was not ready. Later, when we checked in, we were told that our room was overbooked. It’s incredibly ridiculous!
- 3/5
Short staffed, had to get extra towels. Room was average.
- 5/5
Loved our stay! Cozy and comfortable with many amenities! We will definitely be staying again!
- 5/5
I have fallen in love with the downtown San Antonio area hotel. They are super nice and room super clean
- 4/5
The room was clean but definitely had a extremely strong men's musk cologne type smell in it, which made you think they might be hiding something as far as cleanliness, or mold scent or something like that. The hotel parking was crazy, for me because they claimed to have parking for oversized vehicles but the first floor only holds maybe twenty larger vehicles, and God forbid you have to drive up on the other floors you can kiss your non scratched tires or rims good-bye. The drive lane are RIDICULOUSLY narrow and definitely not meant for larger vehicles. However overall the stay was nice I wasn't loud, the shower had pressure, the room was spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable. I would stay again, but drive my smaller vehicle.
- 4/5
Breakfast was fine. Did not like the $35.00 parking fee
- 5/5
Great location, parking is expensive but most places are, we parked elsewhere for cheaper. Good breakfast and pool area.
- 4/5
Parking was safe and easy.
- 5/5
Cute place and clean. My daughter and I had a wonderful time while visiting San Antonio.
- 5/5
Breakfast was really good definitely an upgrade from other hotels that give free breakfast room was very clean. Loved the kitchen hat made it great for leftovers.

Did not stay long, but the room was very clean.
- 2/5
We stayed here in March 2025 and loved it! We came back in March of 2026 and were highly disappointed. The hotel has drastically gone downhill. The room was dirty, lamps broken, phone didn’t work, no more valet parking but still charged an extremely overpriced fee to park in their garage, snack bar and water bottles had no selections (not even a single bottle of water to purchase), and the breakfast was disgusting both mornings. The oatmeal was oats floating in water and the eggs were also very watery. The only positive about this hotel now is the ease of walking to the alamo or riverwalk.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. The room was very clean. Of course my daughter wanted a room with a view and the guy working the desk made sure she got just that. Views from our room were amazing. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Create location and very clean very well priced.
- 4/5
Location of hotel is ok, but the parking at the hotel was outrageous. Timing in the breakfast needs to change, ending at 9:30 is way too early.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and contrary to what others have written there is no mold at all. The staff was very cordial and welcoming- hats off to Lu. The rooms were actual suites since it included a kitchen with microwave and electric range as well as dishwasher with detergent and a living room as well as bathroom and bedroom. The best of all was that it was a block away from The Alamo. Loved the hotel and the stay was great. Added features were the pool which had a gas grill and daily breakfast. Will definitely return. A+++
- 5/5
The breakfast was somehow limited. It ran out of food several times in the span of 30mins. Customer service at the check in/out was excellent. Will definitely stay there in the future.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 1/5
Extra charges
- 5/5
*Keep in mind, it's downtown, so parking was an issue. We arrived at 7:30pm and was told that they had no parking spots available. They directed us to a pay as you go fenced in parking area around the corner, and to check in the following day to see if they had a parking spot available. This would normally be fine, except that it was me with my son, so safety while walking in the dark was a personal concern. We DID go back the following morning, after the 11am checkout, and was able to secure a parking spot in their garage, which is conveniently connected to the lobby. I would suggest calling ahead of time to see if they could (possibly) add a parking voucher to your room? *Overall, a nice and clean place to stay. The staff is very friendly. I would stay there agian!
- 5/5
Loved it. But didn’t like that I parked at a different location. Next time I will check in early lol but other than that great
- 5/5
The room and staff were very nice
- 2/5
Unless you get there early, be prepared for them to not have any parking. Was told we could use public parking areas if we wanted. What a great thing to be informed at 10 PM after driving all day.
- 4/5
Decent and no pool use
- 2/5
Lets start for the the positive. The facilites are well located, you are walking distance from the Riverwalk, The Alamo, driving you are 6 mins from the Pearl and 30 mins from Sea world. As for the parking it was full all the time, but there are public parkings nearby. The breakfast is basic, you need to arrive early though. Now, you need to be aware that we found a live bed bug, it seems that it was an isolated issue, but happened.
- 1/5
Room was dirty and smelly, all requests were ignored, parking is bad, no drinking water on property the first days (not even bottled water)
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Thank you!
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
Parking was inadequate. Free Breakfast is not good at all.
- 5/5
Great price and the room was wonderful. Everything about it was great. The desk staff was very helpful and even retrieved me butter from thelr kitchen so I could cook my steak. The bed was awesome, one of the best mattresses I've slept on at a hotel. It takes a lot to impress me and I was impressed.
- 5/5
Staff was ver fruendly abd accommodating.
- 4/5
Our bathroom wasn't well ventilated and mold was very visibly covered up by paint. Wallpaper was stripping from bathroom walls due to moisture. Pool wasn't clean. Staff was extremely friendly, and helpful from cleaning crew to welcome specialists. I was not expecting such a hefty parking fee and wish that was included in the overall price.
- 5/5
Did not use laundry service.
- 1/5
There was no parking , pool was soo dirty , no room cleaning, breakfast was so basic , over all cleanliness was poor .
- 5/5
GrNo at experience
- 1/5
Properties all needs to be updated
- 2/5
Great location, microwave did not work, dirty dishes. Stayed 2 nights and room was never cleaned. Parking was expensive, not included in the room rate.
- 3/5
Staff was regular, nothing worth of mention.
- 5/5
The staff was super accommodating specially the young lady working the front desk on Friday morning at around 2am she made it possible for me and my nephew to check in early specially since it was my mistake by not boking the hotel accordingly she made the impossible possible she went above and beyond which made our mini stay amazing!
- 4/5
Staff was helpful when our tub was draining slowly. Very convenient to downtown and the Alamo. We were on the 13th floor so didn't notice much noise. Continental breakfast was great.
- 5/5
The studio was very nice, clean, comfortable. The staff was very attentive, everything was nice.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable.. Parking was great and staff was wonderful. Will stay our next trip
- 1/5
Advertisement and website when I made booking, 3 months in advance, stated there would be parking available(valet) like during our last stay which was 8 months prior. We drove almost 400 miles to get San Antonio to find out the hotel did NOT have valet which wasn’t a big issue but they notified me they had NO parking available. Which threw our entire vacation into unknown territory which was not the plan. We booked months in advance at this specific property for a reason. Staff was not rude but not helpful, nor did they seem to care. Last time we will ever stay there. Personally I would not recommend this property to any friends or family.
- 3/5
Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The night we checked in, they had no parking spots available so we had to pay for parking at a public parking lot a few blocks away. Room was fine, met our needs while we stayed in San Antonio, location was great to the Riverwalk and Alamo.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, staff was super friendly, the location is amazing!
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent breakfast, staff courteous and welcoming
- 5/5
Easy walk to historic sites and shopping.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the two room “apartment style” room it was perfect a vacation with my children.
- 2/5
Hotel was updated however you can tell the bathtub and toilets are old. They were stained and tarnished. The beds were horrible; especially the sofa bed. Also, there aren’t many options for the breakfast.
- 3/5
They don’t do housekeeping every day, just once a week, unless you request it. If you request it, make sure that you are a specific that you want full housekeeping otherwise they will only make what they call “ light housekeeping” which is only taking the trash and changing towels.
- 2/5
For some reason, they did not do housekeeping in their rooms, unless you request it. So I requested it and the only towels and they said that since I have only been there for three nights at that point, it was only a light housekeeping service.. to me this is unacceptable…. I also have changed from my original because the bed was not in good conditions
- 3/5
Didn't appreciate the late check in and the rooms not being ready. Took 1.5 hours to get out room
- 4/5
Nice location. Was easy walk to Almo, River walk.
- 3/5
Parking was sold out on site. Had to park 2 blocks away with 3 kids and a car seat. Smoke detector batteries went off around 10:30pm but maintenance was quick to fix it. Overall it's a cheaper hotel and feels cheaper when you stay there but it was a decent room and breakfast for the price.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff.
- 5/5
Staff went out of their way to allow us an early check-in and parking for our group, which helped us out so much. Rooms were very nice and spacious.

- 5/5
Everything about it was great!
- 3/5
Good condition, close to everything, breakfast was not my favorite.
- 4/5
Clean room.
- 4/5
Some notes: the hotel was at full capacity when we stayed and this led to the hot water not being easily accessible (needed to wait 4-6 minutes at times for it to heat up). The kitchenette was nicely stocked with cutlery and dishes, pots, etc — but lacked dish soap / sponge. As such, to clean dishes required running the dishwater more frequently. Parking is advertised as “self-parking available” — what this meant was parking rates of $35 plus tax daily ($45 for larger vehicles). Frustrating, because before we visited I’d sent an email / message to the hotel asking specifically if there were parking fees. They did allow us to check in early; they did help us check out later than the 11:00 AM timeline.
- 1/5
The staff isn’t friendly, the breakfast buffet was horrible, my room smelled and I had to pay $49/night for parking my “oversized” vehicle which fit inside the very same space they charge other vehicles. Never again!!!

- 5/5
Yes very clean.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome! Thank you!
- 3/5
Whatever the previous person cooked the bed sheets were not changed at all the just made the bed up there were stains and hair everywhere. The location was the reason I gave 3 stars. I also had to trust a young not so coherent valet at the hotel across the street because the parking was full at the hotel I paid to stay at
- 5/5
Hotel was great. The only thing is they charge $45 for a truck and they call it oversized even though there is no oversize parking available and most of the parking was a first come first serve so if you leave the property and there’s no parking spaces they don’t reimburse you your money you gotta pay to go park somewhere else.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious. The location was excellent. It was walkable to the Alamo, Riverwalk, The Pearl, Market Square. The bed was so comfortable. The hotel was spotless and newly renovated. Great decor. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
The free continental breakfast was fine, though I’ve had better at other hotels. Parking was the biggest drawback; the hotel’s paid parking is very limited, and I ended up having to use another paid lot nearby. Despite the parking inconvenience, I liked the hotel and would consider staying again.
- 5/5
Very clean. AC was not working in the room when we arrived but a service tech had it fixed within 30 minutes.
- 5/5
Clean and accessible

- 3/5
The room was fine except for there not being toilet paper in there. But what was really frustrating was the new parking and the breakfast. I stay here every year for TMEA. Everything has been fine up till this point. They got rid of valet parking, but that wasn’t the problem. The problem is trying to find a parking space. It was filled on numerous occasion. Also, the breakfast really fell off. The eggs are juice, the sausage was like a shoe sole, and the potatoes were dry, burnt, and raw all at the same time. The salt and pepper are in plastic cups with a plastic spoon that says “spice up your food”. Are you kidding me? I’m not staying there anymore. I need to find a new hotel for TMEA.

Clean rooms
- 5/5
We had a suite. The hallway and rooms smelled fresh. There were coffee stains, residue on the kitchen counters and used tissue in the bathroom toilet. Other than that, the rooms were in good condition. I was able to get the mess up since I bring my own cleaning wipes and sprays. We had a great view of the city being on the 10th floor. There was no on-site parking available, so we parked on the street, for free. The guy at the front desk came off a little careless at first about explaining the parking issues to us and other customers, but he made the check-in process easy.

We found couple spiders
- 2/5
-no parking left even though we prebooked -had to pay double for parking across the street with another hotel -once we got in the room found the TV was shattered -tried calling the front desk over and over with no answer -went dont to tell them about the TV and tired to blame us for it being broken - finally moved us to another room and and there apparently is a karaoke bar right outside our window so, no sleep all night -to add to the the karaoke, everytime the refrigerator kicked on it make a loud screeching sound allllll night! -then as we try to make our escape we go to take showers in the morning to find two towels for 4 people... in a room that sleeps 6. Absolutely the worst hotel stay we have had.
- 5/5
Clean room and the location is very accessible. Limited parking space. It says there’s ‘self parking available’ but there’s none.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Perfect for. Short stay near the Riverwalk.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff. Easy checkin and checkout process
- 4/5
Hotel is a bit outdated but clean, suites have pans and utensils which is good for ppl staying for more than a day.Its located next to door to a popular night which is interesting. There is a $35 " valet parking fee but there is there is no valet, you park your own car.also $ 100 incidental fee worth noting at check in that is refunded back a few days later
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room set up was nice we were able to get a view of the TV from the couch or the bed thanks to the way it was mounted. The little kitchen had most of everything we needed. Only complaints were the parking rate seemed a little high for the hotel location and overall look and cleanliness wise our dishwasher was broken and the dishes provided didn’t look fully clean.
- 5/5
Staff courteous, clean room, good service
- 5/5
Loved this room totally worth it and will be returning. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good.
- 3/5
The parking is not vale and it was confusing on how to get in, I had to call the front to figure out and basically you have to park temporarily in the vale side to get your card to access the parking garage. It can only hold maybe two cards so I imagine check in would be harder at 4 (they were kind to let me check in an hour early). Service was good just needs an update on the vale/parking on their site and hotels.com
- 1/5
I used valet parking and was charged for it.. staff parked my vehicle in a no parking, received 100$ fee and now no one responds to fix the issue after I’ve left voicemails.
- 5/5
The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. My room was very comfy and clean. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a friendly smile. I really enjoyed my stay.
- 1/5
No management on site for days. We moved to several rooms and encountered the same issues. Finally checked out early because the hotel was deplorable. We were told over the phone that management would begin refund process. Over a week has passed and we have yet to hear back to resolve the issue.
- 5/5
so clean and walking distance from the alamo
- 3/5
Parking was $40 a day this is crazy
- 4/5
Room was spotless and staff was courteous as well. Only issue was breakfast was out of a lot of items and no juice for the kids there was only coffee and water. But wasn’t a huge problem for us . I recommend this place
- 3/5
Bugs in the one of the rooms, friendly staff.
- 4/5
The staff were very approachable and helpful. The suite was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I wanted to open a window but couldn’t. Appreciated the breakfast but took some effort to determine if any items were gluten free, despite me calling ahead before booking to confirm availability. I was able to quickly walk to conference centre and felt safe doing so alone.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The breakfast wasn't included In the stay even if we payed top dollar for the room bummer we were starving
- 2/5
Worst included breakfast, preferably not taken Most expensive parking
- 1/5
Staff and amenities
- 4/5
Valet parking was a bit on the slow side when leaving.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel especially for the price and last minute booking. I will definitely book here again. Valet is pricey bur worth it, because the self park on the next block was far and just as expensive!
- 5/5
Very clean and convenient location downtown
- 5/5
Room, breakfast, staff
- 4/5
Menu was bland, parking is next to bad, and the service was mid for the cost. The hotel itself is great though and the upkeep is also great.
- 3/5
The suite was nice the only problem is the parking they charge 50 dlls per night but the valet needs organization or staff they take more than an hr to take and bring your car very inconvenient if your in a hurry
- 2/5
Not a very pleasant place to stay.
- 5/5
Good spot
- 5/5
I really liked and enjoyed my stay at this hotel
- 2/5
This has been our go-to hotel for the last 4 years. The breakfast used to be good but was really mediocre. And the guy running it was super rude. The parking is now ridiculous. $50 per night because my minivan is considered " " oversized
- 2/5
Food was cold
- 4/5
Location was great. Room was great. No sure why when you book two rooms they made them as far apart as they could. At least the rooms were on same floor. Breakfast wasn't anything to write about. I was expecting more. Parking was a little on the pricey side at $50 a night which is more than i use to give for a room. Wasn't informed of this beforehand.
- 5/5
The staff was so heart warming when walking in. Called me by my last name. Since ive stayed in the past. Treated me with great care. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
- 5/5
The room was great only bad things were the plug-in and the bathroom didn't work so you can dry your hair in there and one of the plugins in the kitchen didn't work. The room was clean the hotel was quiet parking was $40 a night so that was kind of a surprise. They had no parking lot available if you didn't do the valet so you almost have to. The free breakfasts were amazing and every staff person that we dealt with with very friendly and accommodating.
- 3/5
Yes
- 3/5
Staff was nice but our bed in the room had crumbs I
- 4/5
The room was super clean, the breakfast was good and the location is great. The only reason for a 4 star is because parking/valet was absolutely horrible and a mess. We would wait 30 plus minutes for our car because they kept skipping around to anyone who would complain. Parking to get to valet was always a mess.
- 5/5
Nice clean room good location only downfall was breakyouer night parking
- 3/5
Conveniently located near the Alamo. However, it's close to highway and can be noisy. Not much option for food and the room is old.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. Room was just ok. Refrigerator made a lot of noise and the phone did not work. There was nothing to eat when I went down at 8:30 a.m. Front desk personnel had a mouth full food and couldn't talk, when I checked out. I guess she had the breakfast I paid for and didn't get. The parking is extremely expensive.
- 1/5
The staff was rude. They tried to charge almost as much per night for parking than the room cost. Then when I complained they said that they wouldn't gove me a room and were still going to charge me for the stay. THEY ARE SCAMMERS STAY FAR AWAY
- 3/5
Breakfast was horrible qith way too limited choice of breads, amount of staff compared to occupancy of hotel. Food variety and availability were both problematic.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very courteous
- 1/5
Parking was terrible. No public parking; only valet. One valet was doing his best to check in guests and retrieve cars. Took more than one hour to check the car in.
- 4/5
The suite was spacious and functional, especially for a family stay. The beds were comfortable, and the A/C worked great after long days of sightseeing. Having a small kitchen area was a nice bonus. Breakfast was disappointing. A lot of the food was gone and not refilled, including the milk, which ran out and was never replaced. It felt unorganized and below expectations compared to the rest of the stay. The only other issue we ran into was valet parking one night. Checking the car in took about an hour due to a long line, but it was right at check-in time, so it was understandable and not a major issue overall. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and responsive when we needed assistance. Overall, this hotel is a solid value for the location alone, especially if you plan on walking to most downtown attractions.
- 1/5
This hotel doesn’t have ANY free parking. Valet is $40 and is the only option. The website says “valet parking available”. It’s your only option. Parking AT THE HOTEL shouldn’t add 30% to the cost of any hotel stay. That amounts to bait and switch. Nearby public parking is $30 for more than eight hours. This means you will have to pay a mandatory, exorbitant additional parking fee regardless of where you park. The hotel should make this clear before you arrive.
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 1/5
Ran out of food or did not have any. Every morning.
- 2/5
Old and bad smell
- 1/5
Was not good breakfast and in my room was roughest
- 3/5
The room was very clean and comfortable but I’m giving three stars because the front desk staff are a little bit rude and also the valet parking charged in my opinion is ridiculous I paid $43 dollars for overnight and also they put a hold on my card for the amount of $100 dollars for incidentals, which I wasn’t aware of before my arrival. But overall the hotel is ok I won’t stay with them again that’s for sure.
- 3/5
The stay was good. The location was close to a lot of attractions. Only issue I had was, hidden fees. Valet parking is expensive. We have a 4 door Jeep not lifted or wide tires , it was considered an oversized vehicle. Costing $50 to valet park, for 2 nights it was another $100. Went from $234 on booking .com to over $435.
- 3/5
Checking late and slow
- 3/5
The hotel was really clean, but the manager needs to be more friendly and
- 2/5
No hot breakfast, we had to be move x3, and the final room was nasty, beds and bathroom in particular
- 4/5
The staff was helpful and the hotel was close to Riverwalk
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was very limited and not replenished before cutoff time
- 4/5
We had a long wait for the valet. But otherwise our stay was great!
- 1/5
No where to park other then Valet at $40 to $50 a night, they are dog friendly but charge a dog fee of $75 and they don’t even have a decent piece of grass for the dogs to relieve themselves. Continental breakfast was horrible watered down coffee and juice
- 5/5
We love the Sonesta in San Antonio! The staff are always courteous and the rooms are large and clean.
- 3/5
very poor breakfast ,limited amount of option to choose
- 3/5
Older hotel
- 4/5
There was a charge for parking which should had been said when reserving room and also a deposit .
- 5/5
Staff was amazing rooms are clean just found some unwanted creepy crawlers in the bathroom
- 5/5
Room had a small kitchen and the bathroom was big due to being for a handicap person. Bed was okay it was lower to the ground but I slept well. TV was able to sway to view from bed or the couch. The breakfast was grab and go during the weekdays. The weekend they did have scrambled eggs sausage potatoes etc. Valet parking was available for $40 per day. There are parking areas outside of the hotel but basically the same cost but some were more expensive. I was able to walk to the Riverwalk and most popular restaurants. The Alamo is just a quick 10 min walk away. If you do laundry you have to set up an app and this was pretty cool. It let you know via text when laundry was done. I recommend this hotel and I will stay here on my next visit to San Antonio.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful stay.
- 2/5
Breakfast is all with packaged food even the pan cake
- 4/5
The room was large and clean. When I was sick and overslept breakfast we were given oatmeal to eat in our room. Had small kitchenette with full size fridge. Sensed they were a little short on supplies but it changed Management the day we checked out so that explained a lot. Close to Alamo, mall and Riverwalk. Felt safe
- 3/5
Bathroom cleaning, Breakfast was not at all good. We just ate once, next day we didn’t feel like to eat
- 5/5
The Location was great. In the middle of many things. The staff was very friendly. The only down side is they are not car friendly. If you drive a car they want $50 per day for parking. This was sticker shock.
- 5/5
Fruit was fresh
- 5/5
Clean room. Good breakfast. Valet parking is only available if you have a car, and the rate is a bit high. We used the parking meter instead.
- 2/5
You had 2 employees, both worked Friday evening, that were absolutely the most rudest I’ve dealt with. First time staying at a Sonesta and will be my last
- 5/5
Na
- 4/5
Breakfast was git and great! Beds need to be changed out, mattresses are a bit hard and springy. Found some small bugs in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
I love the room. It was very spacious
- 5/5
VERY pleasant experience
- 5/5
Super clean room
- 5/5
Overall it was a great stay
- 3/5
Mid service
- 3/5
I am very disappointed in the fact that we are forced to valet and not given an option to self park in the hotel’s garage. To expect people to valet , pay a ridiculous amount per night and then feel obligated to tip for something you didn’t even want is ridiculous. Give your guests the option and do not force it upon them. One night I had to wait over 10 min for them to come get my car. After a long day in the cold that is not something I want to deal with. I would not stay here again because of that. It’s a 200 extra charge I was not expecting and I’m furious over it.
- 5/5
Every thing was great-super convenient!
- 5/5
Great atmosphere and space. highly recommend.
- 4/5
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Yes everything was great
- 1/5
Actually we left. The room wouldn’t get below 77. Front desk people were nice. That’s all I have!
- 3/5
Cons- no housekeeping unless 24 hr notice given. Low/minimal pressure in shower. Hot water was lukewarm at best. ONE, yes ONE bath cloth in room. I was able to secure two more but was told I could not have more? Two people, 4 day stay.
- 4/5
Expedia information says that there is limited onsite parking. It is the reason I chose that hotel. It was not true. The gentleman in the front which I can figure out why he is in hospitality with his manner of being, told us the hotel only had valet parking. It is one reason I am reconsidering staying there on another occasion.
- 5/5
Staff and location! Also the room was very comfortable!
- 5/5
E
- 5/5
Very awesome if you want a place to go shopping and dont wanna drive perfect place .
- 5/5
Great facilitiy, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located within 5-minute walking distance to the River walk. We would stay again.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, great breakfast
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and made great suggestions on places to visit and offered an umbrella to borrow for our morning walk to the Riverwalk. Breakfast was also really good, lots of options and very well managed by the staff.
- 2/5
Broken boiler led to hot water issues the entire time of my stay. The $40 per night parking was never mentioned anywhere!!!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 4/5
Very nice establishment. Location is nice. Staff is helpful, especially the brother at the front desk. The hotel could be a little cleaner. A vacuum Anna a scrubbed bathroom would have easily put you over a five star rating, however, we will be back.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
Room was super old. Hotel was so old. No hot water in the showers, no drinking water bottles in the room, bed had absolutely no support, staff couldn't accommodate an extra hour of later checkout even though the hotel was empty.
- 4/5
Nice breakfast, very updated and clean.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing room were nice clean and just great all the way around
- 5/5
The hotel was just fine to stay 2 nights, no more than that.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Yes, all the above.
- 4/5
The rooms were very nice. We didn't need to cook, but it looked like the kitchen was well equipped. Parking was efficient, but expensive. But in looking at other places in the area comparable.
- 4/5
Rooms are very clean and nice. This was a short stay, but I've used them in the past as well. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
try breakfast had to leave early.
- 5/5
Location and nice staff very helpful
- 5/5
The room was absolutely lovely and so clean! We had a really comfy night’s sleep. I was pleasantly surprised by the kitchen amenities—everything we needed was right there. I’ll definitely be back for our next visit!
- 5/5
My room was so comfortable. It was like having my own little studio, plenty of space!
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful. Clean rooms and quiet.
- 4/5
Nice clean room
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean when arriving. The front desk agent wasn’t the nicest or welcoming. The room was very clean but only had 2 towels when arriving. Breakfast was ok. Not terrible but ok.
- 5/5
everything was good had to switch rooms as first room had a big problem but once we moved all was good
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, everything worked!
- 4/5
room was clean and staff was nice. didn’t like how you had to pay for valet tho. seems like just another way to get money out of you
- 2/5
And finally...NO body could drive my manual transmission car. Pathetic for a valet.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
My room was clean and the staff was kind and nice. Love my room- very spacious and more than enough space.
- 2/5
The hotel staff was rude, unhelpful and disappointing. Common courtesy goes a long way.
- 1/5
Transaction issues making extra charges to my card that was not approved by me , and was unable to get my room till after 12 at night
- 5/5
Everything was good. Excellent location
- 5/5
Kitchen had everything but I didn’t cook. No trash bags, I would stay again, it was nice. The breakfast was not appetizing and no seating available. Did not eat there. Valet Parking was $40.
- 5/5
The room was clean, as well as the hallway. The staff who welcomed during our late check-in was accommodating. The location is accessible to all the fun places to visit.
- 4/5
Not too friendly didn't feel welcome but the valley parking guy was amazing didn't get his name blonde hair also the kitchen girl was very nice kept asking if i needed anything....not very good selection on the vending stuff but over all we enjoyed our stay
- 3/5
We stayed on the 10th floor. It took at least 10 minutes of running the water before it even began to get warm. Breakfast was the same thing everyday of the week. It was a good location for the Riverwalk.
- 3/5
Hotel was in a nice area, a/c did not work, wouldn’t go higher than 96 degrees. There was a small roach in the main room and to valet the car it took a while.
- 3/5
Ight
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 4/5
Any concerns we had were quickly resolved, the only drawback was the crush of everybody checking out at 11am picking up valet cars at the same time. Lots of cars, lots of guests, and just a couple of guys running back-and-forth. They worked hard.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff is always amazing. Nice pool area and breakfast is good.
- 5/5
The room was spacious enough not to be crowded. The beds were comfortable. The sitting area was great. The staff there are super friendlt, helpful, and iffer good suggestions
- 4/5
This room was perfect for the occasion. It was within walking distance to where we needed to go. The room was spacious and clean. The plug by the vanity did not work and neither did our phone (very minor issues). The staff was great. They did offer to send maintenance but I refused but wanted them to take note and fix for the next guest. I did not eat breakfast during my stay so I am unable to rate that. All in all, it was a great stay and will return and recommend.
- 5/5
Clean good location and nice renovation
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The check in staff was great! The short, black gentleman working the desk was professional, very nice, and funny! (Apologies for not gentleman your name.) The rooms were clean and spacious. This was my family's first stay, but we will stay again.
- 2/5
However the valet was awesome but there is no way to rate this action. I tip them every time I brought my car in and had my car parked in front the entire time. These folks were the best and incredibly polite and customer service friendly unlike the front desk.
- 5/5
Great if you have kids with you A little slow to get car valet and picked up at the usua busy times checkout at 11-12 Sunday But not bad
- 5/5

- 5/5
Amazed at how big our room was. Very comfortable and spacious.
- 5/5
Our room was very spacious with a small kitchen. Staff is friendly and professional.
- 5/5
It waa overall a pleasant stay with no issues.
- 5/5
Great service from when we showed up to when we left. We will be visiting again when we go back to San Antonio.
- 5/5
This property is immaculate , staff at front desk was amazing. Our room was beautiful a big suite with everything that you could possibly need or want . A few minutes walk to river walk and the Alamo.
- 5/5
The room was nicer than expected. There was a separate area for the kitchen, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was very clean. I wish there had been more breakfast things that were a grab and go style but other than that, great stay.
- 5/5
The beds were extremely comfortable and that deserves to be mentioned first. We loved the two bedroom suite! Having a living room to visit and recap the day before a perfect night's sleep was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was large and delicious with a great variety and service. If I visit San Antonio again, I will book here!
- 3/5
No issues
- 5/5
I didn’t eat breakfast.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean the kitchen area was great. The staff was very helpful. Hotel waz 5 minutes from the alamo and 8 minutes from the riverwalk. If in San Antonio again will definitely stay here.
- 1/5
Could do better with customer service
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Walk to the Riverwalk and The Alamo. Excellent rooms. Hot breakfast (free).Spendy parking.
- 4/5
I feel that parking should be included in the cost of a room
- 2/5
when the set up my room it was in use by other customers. so I had to go back to reception an wait for other room with different specs than the one I needed
- 4/5
The room was renovated, clean, and nice, and the staff were very friendly. However, I was very disappointed that breakfast was served with single-use plates and utensils. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel, as it’s not environmentally friendly and doesn’t follow sustainable practices. Also, the garage charges $40 per night and doesn’t have a charging station for electric cars.
- 3/5
Good value for a 2-bedroom suite.
- 3/5
Almost that you are bothering them The room was very nice but the bed and sheets were not comfortable and definitely not hotel spa thread count Valet was terrible and be careful with the restrictions and no self park you will find yourself looking for a place to park And that pool was a shame, it looks like a smaller pool in the pictures well it’s even smaller and sadder in person. Will not stay there again maybe try the one across the street
- 5/5
Wonderful property, so clean and fresh. Only tiny knock is the channel guide on the TV was wrong, but so minor! A GREAT value, just a few minutes walk to Alamo and Riverway!
- 5/5
This was a great stay. The location was perfect. The amenities were great.
- 3/5
Dirty around bottom of toilet. Very dirty.
- 4/5
Overall good!
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
Clean and Comfortable room with good breakfast
- 5/5
Good over all. Room size was perfect with full kitchen and seperate bedroom. Only issue was tub would take long to drain.
- 4/5
Service was great except for housekeeping. We didn’t see service once and had to ask to have our waste baskets emptied. Breakfast was great as was front desk service
- 5/5
This hotel is family-friendly. The room is spacious with a nice sofa bed. The kitchen has everything, a large fridge, a dish washer, a stove and a full set of utencles. We bought some veggies and meats from the nearby market and made our own snacks and a dinner. The hotel's breakfast was above average with some hot and cold selections.
- 5/5
Great location, very nice staff. Could do something about those gaps under the door but that’s it
- 2/5
Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Great location. Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Was very happy with this hotel. Will be back. Only issue was loud people above us.
- 5/5
Place was perfect no complaints here. Close to everything.
- 3/5
Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was under par when it comes to service besides the gentleman working valet they were great.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Very great
- 4/5
You need to be recycling. We were missing wash cloths, which they provided after we called them. There was only one fork in the room, no dishwashing soap or sponge for doing dishes. The ice machine was turned off so if staying for just a night you had no ice. The hours for eating breakfast should be longer.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and cute cozy room, very clean and also has breakfast buffet included.
- 5/5
Everyone is very friendly and the first impression started with the valet gentlemen. He is exceptional in this role. He remembers your name and is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable with a full kitchen and very comfortable couch and sitting area.
- 4/5
It was ok. The hotel should’ve been in better shape for the price charged
- 5/5
The rooms were great! Spacious, felt like mini apartments! The location was convenient, the mall was in walking distance and so was River Walk which had many restaurants
- 3/5
Wish we would have known parking was an extra $40 a night would have booked some where that included parking. Staff was rude when questioned why that wasn't on the booking sights. Won't stay there again. Customer service matters it doesn't matter how nice the hotel is.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean. Loce the kitchenette and fridge in the room. Rivercity mall is about a 7 min walk which you can go through to access the riverwalk. The hotel Valet parking is convenient and easy, free breakfast included with stay
- 5/5
Friendly attentive staff and valet parking
- 3/5
noisy on a Saturday night. We could hear the music from the club in our room while trying to sleep.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Wish the a.c vent was blowing toward the bed but other than that very nice stay
- 5/5
Perfect location near Alamodome
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
close to alamo and titanic venues.
- 5/5
Loved the stay
- 5/5
I stay every month at this sonesta for 3 to 4 nights. They towels are nice, the rooms are clean and the staff at the front desk are all professional and polite. This hotel is very convenient since my work is right down the street and I love that you can log into Netflix on the TV and watch my regular shows.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
Thx
- 4/5
The room was cleaned only when a guest asked for it. I never knew that until the day before we left. We were there only 4 nights so we never asked for it. Check in was at 4 pm and not one minute before. Breakfast was typical as most hotels offer but nothing fancy. Very convenient to Alamo, mall and Riverwalk. Parking via Valet only $40 plus tax daily. The parking staff were very friendly and fast.
- 5/5
the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was good. The only problem, you had to run the shower to get any hot water.
- 5/5
Maria was so amazing.
- 5/5
A better welcoming staff
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
The best i got in this property was the valet team,
- 4/5
Big room
- 4/5
Not the best check-in experience. There was no one available at the front desk. Finally arrived and had to finish whatever he was doing, did not acknowledge that we had been waiting. The next morning completely the opposite and staff was helpful.
- 4/5
The hotel staff was great, except for the hot water in our room. We had to have maintenance four times to check the bathroom hot water. This was very inconvenient. Other than the The room was comfy and roomy. The valet staff was amazing especially James.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing and very helpful
- 5/5
Besides the price for parking (because you can only valet), the hotel was perfect. A great variety for breakfast was available the next morning.
- 5/5
Perfect for a family with the private bedroom
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable bed
- 4/5
How big the room was like small apartment. I really liked it bed was little hard
- 4/5
Encountered a very rude staff member speaking/yelling to us like we were kids. Absolutely not ok, very unprofessional.

- 4/5
I loved how close it was to the riverwalk, restaurants and the Alamo.

Clean and spacious room

Our room had no trash can, I requested one at the front desk, but didnt get one until I asked a friendly housekeeper who accomodated me with my request. No shuttle service was a bummer. The front desk gentlemen was very friendly and checked us in quickly. The parking guys were awesome as well. I liked the two room kitchenettes.

It was a pleasurable hotel to stay in. The staff was very friendly and courteous
- 3/5
Overall OK. Crowded but good. Arrived at 2:00 PM and made to wait until exactly 4:00 PM to check in, no exceptions! However, for a $35 fee they could bend the rules and check you in early! Breakfast was Ok if you like powdered eggs, meatless sausage, and mess everywhere. Only thing worthwhile was toast you made yourself and coffee. Completely understaffed! Parking was $40 nite.

No regrets would stay again. Great location for everything.

Family friendly, clean, but service has opportunity areas, front desk guy was not friendly at all, adding to it that you has to use the valet parking not as an option.

The staff attention was not good,

My best friend and i cant say enough about this stay! The hotel and pool were gorgeous, free breakfast was fresh and plentiful. What was most special was the care and attention of all the staff, especially Maria and Doniel who made our stay perfect!! Thanks again for such a great week!!

We were in town for military graduation. Enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was great! We did not use the pool. A lot of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Other reviews complained about parking. We park at the end of the block in public parking for $30 a night. I do not like using valet parking. However all of the valet members were very nice and greeted us everytime we entered. I don’t feel $30-40 a night for parking is outrageous in a big city. That price is about average for big cities. The front desk was a little busy when we arrived, but they got us checked in quickly. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

You should let customer's know that you have to pay to park. You pay for the room you should be able to park.
- 4/5
Good stay, room was a bit warm but over all great location to walk downtown
- 5/5
Restroom smelled like MILDEW or everything would have been fine.

Horrible service, no parking for my dully i have to pay 60 extra

This hotel was one block away from the Alamo and was 3 blocks away from Rivercenter where the conference was being helod, However, the water was shut off to the hotel for 6 hours on Friday August 16, 2025 without any warning. The free hot breakfast wa good.
- 3/5
The hotel it self was okay, it's clean and convenient because of the location, you walk in and if you prepay and have no choice but to stay there, your hit with a 40 dollar valet fee, because they have no parking, your option is to find parking in the street, the 2nd problem are no ice machines, even motel6 have ice machines. They give a fridge with ice maker that makes 6 cubes a day, what a joke. It was clean and close to everything.

The food was awesome at the hotel

I arrived early (9am) and was offered the early check in fee and I said no because I was going out anyways so i didn’t mind to have the room ready by the time stablished(4) but the receptionist still charged me the early fee and I was distracted talking to a friend in the meantime so when I paid I told her and she was like oh well now you can have your room. Ask for refund and she didn’t even answer so my only complain and just a heads up the parking for guest has a charged of $40 overnight so great I was charged $75 extra.

Everybody was nice, the facility was clean, this hotel is more like a live In hotel, where you stay for a long period of time. The only thing bad I have to say is the pillows were not comfortable, very flat.

I enjoyed my room and the view

My family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay. The two bedroom unit was immensely spacious and our accommodation brought a sense of homeliness and ease of mind having everything we need. Having three kids and separate spaces throughout the room was wonderful oh and breakfast provided was a big plus. Definitely coming back!

Check in was good, man was funny. AC was broke in hotel. Another woman with red hair at front desk was very rude!!! Valet staff is great, they work very hard. For a Sonesta very disappointed, going back to a 4star and never looking back.

Hotel was in a good location, however paying for parking was very inconvenient, and not stated before booking. During our visit, they turned the water off for 3 hours. some of the front desk staff were rude. Also the free breakfast was only from 6:30 am to 9 am. Not very convenient for guest.

It was an awesome stay, we never got our telephone line working but its okay we had our cellphones. Also the swimming pool was a bit small, but other than that it was an amazing experience, about a 3 min. Walk to the alamo and a 7min. Walk to the Riverwalk. If you ask for roomservice from the moment you check in, it will be done! Valet parking was awesome too, a bit pricey but worth it. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days, we are a family of 3. If you dont mind walking, it is a beautiful experience! Would recommend it to others! Loved it all!

Walking distance to The Alamo and River walk, shopping and restaurants and entertainment.

When I booked my room online, 3rd party, nowhere did it say parking was extra. I stayed from Friday to Thursday and had to use their valet service to ensure my rental car was safe being it was in downtown, plus, you would have had to pay outside anyways. The valet service was absolutely amazing, but expensive! For those days of being there, I believe it was somewhere around $230 give or take. My only other real complaint was they say they have a pool. My family and I after driving nearly 27 hours were looking forward to that pool! When my girls went to check it out, it was only 3 1/2 feet deep all the way around and it was small! I'm 6' tall so that's just not going to work for me. We were so disappointed! Other than that, I loved that our room was a suite, that was the main reason I booked with them, because it had the full kitchen and everything so we didn't have to eat out the whole time we were there.

Hit me with over $300 bill after i already paid the room for parking and other crap.
- 5/5
This was a great place to stay and convenient to downtown locations.
- 3/5
Verdict Unfortunately, the poor customer service experience outweighs the hotel's strengths. I wouldn't recommend staying here or return myself. Hopefully, the hotel will address these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

Overall experience 0/10. From the moment we got there the lack of communication, unpleasant, dismissive staff and valet till the end. We were turned away from valet parking because the valet person refused to take our vehicle even though there was clearly parking and another similar vehicle as ours forcing us to have to walk with a 6 year old 3 blocks down the road with alll of our luggage. The receptionist was not even at the front desk to attend, and once she got there she was rude and stated I had to wait for her to do her audit in order to check if our room was still available EVEN THOUGH WE CALLED AHEAD OF TIME. The cleanliness of that hotel was extremely questionable especially the elevator that had pee on the floor and stains on the bed sheets and sofa mattress as well. The dishes that were stored away STILL HAD FOOD ON THEM!!! The 4th floor smelt like a dog just recently had used the restroom on the carport and it was just left to linger.
