The website is very misleading: they stated there would be breakfast and breakfast consisted of juice or coffee and a granola bar. The halls smelled of burnt fish curry (that’s the closest thing I can think of to describe the smell). I was charged $100 on top of the cost of the room for a deposit. The room was damaged in several places including no smoke alarms (I thought that was required by law!). I took pictures so that I was not charged for the damages, I informed the desk clerk and was told “yeah, they know about the damages”. I also woke up with bites around the side of my waist, I’ve never had bedbug bites so I’m not entirely sure but I was in the bed when I sustained them. Please do not stay here!! I will also be cancelling my Wyndham account, any corporation that endorses these type of establishments, I want no part of.

During a brief visit to San Antonio, I stayed here. If you want quick access to the highways and downtown, this is a great location. The front desk staff made the check-in process easy and were incredibly friendly. Overall, the stay was enjoyable because my room was tidy and cozy.
- 2.5/5
It was somewhere my kids and I can get some rest. The room was like a sauna when we first arrived, and the AC never really helped it was uncomfortable until we finally fell asleep and wasn’t thinking about it. The TV had limited channels really only news and infomercials on to watch. I paid for a room to include breakfast and there was no breakfast provided. And I really feel like it’s crazy that the security deposit was more than what I actually paid for the room, and still really didn’t get what I paid for.
- 2/5
The hotel itself was in ok conditions for the price. The front desk staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable however we did find bed bugs in the morning after having several bites. Also the elevator made loud sounds that gave the feeling of it not being secure or safe. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, it looks nothing like the pictures. But for the price and being close to the army base, it served the purpose.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet place

During this trip, my parents stayed with me, and we were very grateful for the hotel staff's multilingualism. They answered a few questions with clarity and patience. At night, the area also seemed serene and uncrowded.

I was most struck by how simple everything was. The entire stay felt simple and hassle-free, and there were no issues with check-in or check-out.

Close to work A female family member of one of the owners or managers parks her new blue Lexus right next to the entrance by occupying two spaces so no one can damage her precious vehicle. She's arrogant and entitled, a typical Karen.

The location is ideal for touring San Antonio without having to spend a lot of time stuck in traffic. The check-in procedure was easy, and the rooms were tidy and warm. Overall, I had a hassle-free stay that greatly eased my quick trip.

Clean hotel but rooms are far from noise proof. The next room over was loud til 3 am so much so I hardly slept
- 5/5
The front desk employees were really friendly and patiently addressed all of my inquiries. They even provided excellent suggestions for local eateries and tourist destinations. It's pleasant to experience genuine assistance during a brief visit to the city.

Clean room, staff was very friendly and offered prayers for my husbands procedure. Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, ice machine was broken, but we were able to buy ice at a store nearby. Aside from the mattress, everything was fantastic.

If there was a NEGATIVE 5 star option this property would be the winner ... bed bugs , dirty sheets ,dirty towels ... disgusting hotel should not have the Wyndham name associated with it
- 3/5
They advised breakfast online and when checking in only to find out their idea of a breakfast is to hand out granola bars and have juice out. ? with a child with us that was a bit of an inconvenience

Please please I beg you if you are reading this review, Never stay here. The worst motel in the world. Next to the highway and train tracks and loud noise all day and night. You won’t be able to sleep at all. Nothing in this hotel is good. Every dollar you spend here is a waste. There are bed bugs, rats in the room, and the toilet does not work.please stay away, Even if you get a good deal it is not worth it. Every dollar you spend elsewhere might be worth more. Sick dirty dangerous place.

Hotel had an odor when first walking in like something died in the walls. Room was in disrepair electrical outlets hanging out ceiling crumbling. No maid service daily nothing. No continental breakfast no morning coffee nothing. I tried to find another hotel but at time I went everywhere was booked.
- 5/5
The location was good Didn't have breakfast The fan in the bathroom was too noisy and the coffee machine was not working properly and when we did get some there was no sugar or creamer.

The staff was rude i do not understand when it was paif up front why a deposit is required. As i was walkkng out of my room to start loading ny car the housekeeping staff rudely asked if i was done. As i was wqlking out there was two families complaining of bed bugs on the second floor. I was not able to open the outside door with my key even though it says to use room key to open. I had to walk around 3 times.
- 5/5
We stayed 1 night and stay was great. I traveled with 5 kids mostly teens and had no issues. Our room was clean with comfortable beds.
- 1/5
Place was filthy. Pubic hair on toilet seat. Bathroom smelled like sewage. And housekeeping came knocking at our door at 10am despite having a do not disturb sign on the door...checkout is at 11am! Not a good experience for us.
- 5/5
It went well when I spent a night here while traveling through San Antonio. I didn't want to deal with finding a garage late at night, so the free hotel parking made things much easier. The front desk employees were courteous, and the check-in procedure was swift.
- 5/5
I valued the staff's assistance in answering all of my inquiries regarding local attractions. Finding and using free parking was simple, which is always advantageous when driving. The atmosphere was friendly without being overly ostentatious, and the room was tidy.
- 5/5
While in San Antonio, I spent a night here. The staff was welcoming, the room was organized and cozy, and check-in was quick. The location made getting around town simple and hassle-free.
- 2/5
I have been staying in this building annually since it was built. I understand things age and times change. However, it’s time for me to look for different lodging. Rooms seem stripped. No tv remote. AC wouldn’t adjust below 72 in hot humid San Antonio. Exterior doors wouldn’t unlock with keys. Elevator was broken. Clerk said room wasn’t paid and charged me. I later went back and presented him with my emailed receipt from 5 months earlier.
- 3/5
I stay every year for the stock show here but this time the hotel was less pleasant. Still a sack breakfast. A horrible strong sewer stent through entire hotel all well long. Leaking toilet water everywhere. Broken desk seat. No shampoo at all. No coffee. No towels had to ask for them. Ac broke and went to F1 error. Fire alarm went off twice middle of the night for no apparent reason. Elevator was broken more than working. So while it had clean sheets the bed was also broken in the springs sank down and very uncomfortable. But convenient location to frost bank center. I’ll get different hotel next year I won’t be back. Usually I enjoy my stay but this time I did not.
- 1/5
1st room they put us in wouldnt lock, 2nd room had dead roaches, ac barely worked.. no ice in the ice machine, nothing to buy in the store.. matresses has a big whole , not comfortable

Great stay. Great price

there were bed bugs and my girlfriend got ate up like crazy. so disgusting. it's all over her body. we stayed two nights and didn't realize until we left. also we wanted an extra blanket and pillow because it was cold and the staff claimed they were locked up and we could only request them in the morning which makes no sense because i am sleeping at night and checked in at night and that's when i needed them.
- 3/5
For the price, I was impressed. However it is still a three-star hotel. It was clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However there was still the traditional bathroom remodel issues Thethe fixtures at gaps, the vinyl plank had b
- 3/5
That said, I still feel that that I got a good value for my money overall.
- 3/5
Great staff, horrible internet service.
- 3/5
I’ve been staying here for the past month, and the staff and property are mostly a delight to behold. The front desk is primarily staffed by an angel known as Miss Janet, and Housekeeping is led by a courteous sweetheart who might as well be my very own grandma. My only gripe thus far has been a constant and unrelenting disappointment with their Internet service. It is the most unreliable and frustrating thing ever should you have to rely upon it. Ranging from functional at best to complete service outages “because it’s raining” it has been the dark cloud over my otherwise mostly peaceful stay here. There has also been a lingering foul odor on the second floor near the laundry room, which seems to intensify whenever it rains, but otherwise, a pleasant stay.
- 3/5
Room was not fully cleaned when i checked in. Dirty towels were still hanging behind the door, desk wasn't wiped down, and floors weren't vacuumed. Bathroom still had debris under the sink.
- 5/5
I saw the outdoor BBQ facilities even though I had no intention of cooking. It appeared to be a fun setup for families looking for a casual outdoor meal, as a few guests were grilling.
- 5/5
It was a straightforward but practical breakfast. I appreciated that coffee was always available and that there were fresh options. Before going out to explore the city, it made mornings easier.
- 1/5
Rooms were clean, but the beds were very uncomfortable. I ended up with a backache! Area was safe. Easy access to the freeway. Breakfast was terrible. It was a to-go brown paper bag that consisted of 1 piece of fruit, 1 yogurt, and 1 granola bar. There was coffee and juice available. Juice was fine, but the coffee looked more like brown water with no taste. It was definitely unexpected.
- 3/5
Staff nice, room clean but ice machine broke they didnt even buy bagged ice for customers but our 1st room wouldnt shut or lock they did move us. For price not too bad. Pillows flat but overall not horrible.
- 5/5
If you're traveling through town, the location is ideal. There were a few eateries close by, and I enjoyed having quick access to the freeway. The room was functional for my stay, but it was simple and had everything I needed.
- 5/5
This hotel is reasonably priced and adequate for a brief stay. The bed was sufficiently soft, and the bathroom was spotless. I liked that the room had a refrigerator and microwave; it was useful for snacks.
- 4/5
Had 5 roaches that we know of and the building and room badly need updating. As a business.ow er, i would hope the owner foe this propertu carzs enougj to protect the brand.

NOTHING
- 2/5
The room felt very outdated, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the sheets didn’t smell clean. We were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and comfort during our stay.
- 4/5
The staff wasn’t very hospitable. As long as you didn’t need anything and just stuck to your room all was good, also the pool couldn’t be swam in. Maybe it was the off season but I don’t see that when I booked.
- 5/5
We had been staying here for days while on a road trip, living out of a suitcase. The laundry room was hygienic, reasonably priced, and greatly simplified things. We didn't anticipate that level of convenience from a low-cost establishment, but it was helpful when we needed it most.
- 5/5

- 1/5
Literally the worst place I have ever been to in my life. I came in town for a concert and ended up leaving the same night after the show because I could not stay in such poor conditions. Comforter and sheets stained and raggedy, blood on the back of the bathroom door, carpet filthy, stains on walls and lamp shades were dirty. Didn’t even try to request a refund. I was that disgusted. Just packed up and left.
- 2/5
The room smelled like used underwear after football practice and Indian street food, all mixed in with a hint of soggy socks. Had to open the window, which I'm glad they're not concerned with suicidal guests, turned the fan on in the bathroom, that sounded like I was on the tarmac next to a 777-300, and that alleviated the smell by 15%. The bed was comfortable, the shower was really good, but the smell was THICK. If your allergies are severe and you can't smell anything you'd probably enjoy the stay a lot more than I did.
- 5/5
The family room we reserved turned out to be larger than I had expected. The air conditioner saved my life. The beds were comfortable and clean, and everything operated flawlessly.
- 5/5
Excellent value for the money. The staff's ability to speak multiple languages really helped my parents, who don't speak English well. I greatly valued their kindness and patience. The location was also good; it was quiet but close to the city center.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised during my brief overnight stay while traveling through San Antonio. We arrived late and didn't want to deal with meters or garages, so the free parking was a huge plus. The front desk team was very friendly, and the check-in procedure went smoothly.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here. The personnel was pleasant, and the accommodation was tidy and cozy. It is a reasonably priced location that is suitable for a quick trip. Additionally, the location is handy for traveling throughout San Antonio.
- 2/5
I stayed at Super 8 from Thursday to Sunday and had a pretty disappointing experience. The staff was extremely rude and made me feel unwelcome. The hotel also felt unsafe, which was a big concern. They required a $100 deposit, which I found excessive. Although it’s conveniently located near Frost Bank Center I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Also their elevator didn’t work at the time. Additionally, they have a policy where if you stain one of their towels even slightly with makeup, they keep the $100 deposit, which I find extremely rude. It just adds to the overall feeling of not being welcome and safe.
- 5/5
Great stay, decent room, good price and easy parking access.
- 1/5
Staff was rude and belligerent
- 2/5
Stains on the bedding and ceiling, window open and hard to lock, flooring buckling, Tav hanging off the wall. Used towels appeared to be placed back on the shelves rather than washed. Staff was nice but I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 5/5
During my visit to San Antonio, I stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham Downtown NE. The property offered clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and basic amenities that suited my needs. The location was convenient, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience for a short trip.
- 5/5
I like that the property was accessible to the freeway with a lot of convenience to restaurants and stores
- 5/5
The hotel met my expectations for a short and affordable visit. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It’s a good budget option if you’re visiting San Antonio.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and made check-in quick and easy. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place that still offers comfort and convenience. Would definitely stay again for a short trip to San Antonio!
- 5/5
I had a nice stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It’s a budget-friendly place and good for a short visit. Location is also convenient for getting around San Antonio.
- 4/5
Bathroom ceiling is falling down above the bathtub.
- 5/5
Convenient location with quick access to downtown San Antonio. The room was spotless, staff was welcoming, and check-in was smooth. A great value if you’re looking for a simple, reliable stay.
- 2/5
Toilet leaks. Disgusting, did not see until on the way out. Door swing look torn loos. And does not work. Carpeted rooms. Disgusting, holds germs and dirt. Mold around bath tub. Fan in bath did not work. Remote will not work with cable menu on TV, have to scroll through channels. Trash all over outside, and not new stuff. Pool is green Paint all over needs touchup. No door sweep, so hallway sounds come in. Drapes old and worn with holes. Door card stopped working and door jams trying to open. Parking spots are too tight, careful with door dings.
- 1/5
I do not recommend, unless you’re desperate. NO ELEVATOR which is a huge inconvenience. It has been out of service for quite some time, apparently, so this says a lot about the ownership/management. They don’t care. They wouldn’t even give me a first floor room that I requested when I booked online 24 hrs in advance. The room was extremely hot and didn’t cool down until around midnight. There was still hair on the toilet and tub. There was a large space between the door and frame so anyone could see in. I taped up some paper to block it. And they have NO BREAKFAST. Not even coffee. They don’t advertise any of this on booking sites so I was blindsided. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel.
- 3/5
I had asked for a downstairs since my husband is disabled. They instead put us upstairs and the elevators were broke. Pool was really dirty as well.
- 2/5
Elevator was broken. Apparently it has been for days. Really disappointing a place like this would have the elevator broken. Very inconvenient
- 5/5
Okay
- 5/5
Cozy and comfortable. Had a pleasant stay. Thank you :)
- 4/5
Great stay. Would do again. Only drawback is the noise coming from the hiway and especially the trains, which blow horns several times at night. Otherwise, the facility is good, clean, and the staff is great.
- 5/5
Quite no one disturbed me while I was there. For $50 a night not bad at all
- 5/5
Services was good but property needs updated
- 4/5
For the price, this was a great property. Front desk staff were friendly. Room was clean and maintained. Close proximity to Ft. Benning. Would definitely stay here again if in San Antonio.
- 3/5
The rug itself was sticky in my room. The wall had damage on it, but the bed was well made and clean. The facilities were well maintained, however the caulk on the corners of the shower in the walls were missing. I didn't mind the elevator not working, but it was difficult walking up and down two flights of stairs alone with a 2 year old and several bags.
- 4/5
The bed sheets and towels weren't replaced when we left in the morning, despite coming back close to midnight.
- 5/5
Veteran parking
- 4/5
IT WAS AN OK STAY.
- 5/5
During a business trip, I stayed at this hotel and was quite pleased with the service. The accommodation was well furnished with everything I needed, and the staff was courteous and professional. The location was very ideal, with quick access to the city center.

- 5/5
This hotel provides exceptional amenities for business travellers. The business centre offered everything I needed to keep busy, and the free Wi-Fi was a perk. The team responded to inquiries promptly and with professionalism.
- 5/5
During my recent trip to San Antonio, I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I particularly enjoyed the in-room microwave and mini-fridge, which were ideal for my late-night snacks, and the rooms were neat and cozy.
- 5/5
The hotel was comfortable, and the breakfast was an added pleasure. Furthermore, it was simple to get around the city from there.
- 3/5
There was no breakfast even though it was advertised.
- 3/5
The two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very small and the toilet was way too close to the sink. We had two rooms and the bathroom in the double bed didn’t even have a toilet paper holder. I don’t expect this in a hotel that I’m paying money to stay in. The sinks also had dings in them. It was good for a night but wouldn’t stay more than a night or two.
- 2/5
Not to many people staying and they put us on the 3rd floor. Had to climb stairs because elevator was broken. Rooms are small.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Downside is the Elevator was broken during my stay and they didn’t fix it right away. But overall, it was all great!
- 5/5
My experience at Super 8 by Wyndham was great. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to local sights. The room was spacious and well-maintained. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A good choice for anyone visiting San Antonio on a budget.

I had a pleasant stay at Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown NE. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It's a great location, close to downtown attractions. I would recommend it for a budget-friendly option.
- 3/5
I found the room dirty ( hair in the sink and tub, candy crumbs in the floor, missing light bulbs). The property dirty and rundown. There is a busy train track across from the property (trains run all night long). There are better choices in the area.
- 5/5
The hotel was awesome! The BBQ facilities were great, the family room was perfect for our needs and the service was impeccable. We would definitely stay here again.

Sadly some of the appliances in the room were rusted. But overall the room was clean and so was the bathroom so i can't complain
- 2/5
Room was clean. Price was reasonable. Bed was very uncomfortable. Old mattress. Odors in the hallway and lobby. Fairly friendly customer service.
- 5/5
My room was incredibly tranquil, which truly astonished me. I never heard any outside noise, even though the hotel was quite busy. Particularly considering the heat, the air conditioning was ideal. It's a fantastic location to relax after a tough day!
- 5/5
It was a very restful stay for me! The rooms had everything I needed and were immaculate. I was able to finish some work easily because of the free WiFi's speed. Also, the personnel was consistently welcoming and supportive. I am eager to return!
- 5/5
Our family had an amazing time throughout their visit. The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the BBQ area was great for our late-night meals. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
The facilities were provided, and we had a great time. Excellent WiFi was available, and free parking was a big bonus. Our evenings were greatly enhanced by the BBQ area, which we adored.
- 5/5
Our favorite part of the hotel was the outdoor pool. It was a nice location to relax because it was tidy and welcoming. We particularly relished the nighttime BBQ facilities, which made our stay more enjoyable and laid back. The entire team was really courteous and the room was kept up nicely.

- 5/5
I was quite impressed with the hotel's attention to detail. A restful night's sleep was ensured by the soundproof rooms, and the free parking was a great bonus.
- 5/5
This hotel was a very wonderful experience for me. The high-speed internet was ideal for catching up on work. My stay was convenient and comfortable because the room was tidy and quiet.
- 3/5
Was Okay
- 4/5
Rooms where clean well. There was NO breakfast just juice/ coffee. It smelled like sewer. The pool was always nasty especially when we came back from what we where doing for the day. Beer cans , napkins , towels where left out there, plastic stuff was in pool. There was a 2 year old out there with grandmother and she was not paying attention and he was drink out of the can. The Grandmother said that people where peeing in the pool
- 1/5
First, it smelled like a wet, decaying dog and moth balls inside the whole hotel. My room was no different. The plumbing was really wonky and the best you could get from the shower was Luke warm. The vinyl wood flooring was coming up and creating tripping hazards. The noise was the most upsetting. There was an Indian lady working nights and was constantly screaming into her cell phone outside my room at all hours and waking me up. I reminded her politely each time and she still randomly started again later. I asked repeatedly for a wake up call and they never called or knocked until my last day checking out.
- 4/5
Decent stay private
- 5/5
For my brief stay, this hotel offered all I needed. The peaceful surroundings and non-smoking accommodations were ideal for restful sleep. During my entire visit, the personnel made sure I felt comfortable and well-cared for.
- 5/5
This location proved to be quite handy for my travels. The laundry facility was very helpful to me while I was there, and the location was excellent. The housekeeping team performed an outstanding job, and the room was spotless.
- 3/5
Facilities were dirty and entry lobby smelled
- 1/5
Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This place was BEYOND horrendous. If there was an option, I would not rate any stars. Smelled awful upon arrival and we felt like we smelled like the place even after we left! Walls and windows are paper thin therefore you can hear EVERYTHING! Neighbors had kids yelling and jumping all night, you would’ve thought they were in our room from how thin the walls were. The room also smelled beyond disgusting, some linens were soiled, carpet in the room was sticky and the sink in the restroom was hanging on by a thread. It was an unsafe area with homeless people trying to get in. The one star that is rated will have to be for the lady named Journey, at the front desk. She was nice and personable. Other than that, this place is awful and I don’t know how it’s still in business. Oh and let’s not forget they charge you a $100 deposit at check-in to ensure there are no damages to your room upon check-out! We paid cash and took pictures of the transaction and the room and any damages we found because that’s how shady the place is. You can pay cash or card, but if you pay with card of course you have to wait 5-7 business days for your money to be returned! RIDICULOUS to ask for that deposit when the state of the hotel is in such poor conditions. Luckily, we only stayed one night because it was spur of the moment type thing, BUT do yourself a favor and save your money and book elsewhere.
