Close to everything and staff was fantastic!

We had to stay for an extended period of time, due to my mother's illness. The staff was excellent and always cheery in the morning! The breakfast was outstanding, each and every day! The room was very comfortable and fit our needs. Great location - close to EVERYTHING! The electric train goes by frequently, but can barely hear it. It's actually a bit quaint. :). I do have a couple of suggestions: There should be a rubber mat in the bathtub, as I slipped one day and tumbled out onto the floor. I wasn't injured, but for someone else it could have been an issue; the carpets need to be cleaned. Other than those two items, this place is wonderful! Staff is friendly, attentive, kind and helpful!

The staff was great! Facility was clean and well kept.

Breakfast is made to order with plenty of additional options: bagels, bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. The building surrounds the pool which makes a nice atmosphere. Bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. Would stay again.

No elevator to the 2nd floor was my biggest issue, along with the property right on the light rail tracks. The train crossing alarms went off every 2 minutes. Install an elevator.

Great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Convenient location and excellent value. We would definitely stay here again.

This is our go-to when we go to San dimas. We love how old school it is and clean. We also love that there's a tub in every room. The staff is friendly the hispanic guy that cooks is friendly. No complaints quiet comfortable the rest of the guests are in the same vibe as us just want to be somewhere where it's clean comfortable and safe. Very close to downtown San Dimas I assume that's downtown or Old Town. Yeah this is our go-to There's a little area with a table and some chairs for people to sit outside if they wanted to smoke and kind of watch the traffic go by I would keep that area a little cleaner and make it a little more inviting for guests that want to sit out there and chill.

Everything else was great especially the breakfast and services provided by the staff. They were all great!

Room was clean, the doors locked, basic covered. BUT The spring mattress was old with broken springs so dropped to middle. An unknown machine would run every twenty minutes for ten minutes and go quiet. It was like a two stroke engine idling off and on all night. Minor other irritations, coffee machine did not work, make-up mirror broken, but brokenwall mount left hanging. Shampoo half empty, body was half empty, conditioner and lotion full containers. Also bottled water even offered, only tap water, and drinking cups, plastic type were not even sealed in plastic, just sitting on countertop. I know this sounds petty, but I have stayed many hotels and motels, and this one made bottom of my list.

Gym was closed and was I disappointed and my room was near to the train passing, but staff was able to move me, so thanks.

I actually had an emergency and didn't actually wind up staying there, However they were extremely accommodating to what I needed. I would definitely say there again.

Room was clean, front desk staff very helpful. Not an exciting place to stay with a lot of wow but clean, quiet, comfortable and perfect for our purpose. Best thing in the room was the magnifying make-up mirror.

I remember this Hotel back in 2923x. And just got worst: no WiFi (it only affected. Second, something wrong with the land lane wasn’t. Thirds Had the toilet

Really wish the hotel had an elevator up to the second floor. It had rained and the steps to the second floor were very slippery as they were outside.

Room was cleaned, staff very friendly and helpful. We had the best breakfast.

I didn't notice the location was by the train. I heard the ding ding and train going by like every 20 minutes all night. The bed was terribly ucomfortable with a big dip in it and the pillows were small and lumpy. The walls seem paper thin as i could hear a couple "enjoying themselves" all throughout the night.

At check in I waited for about 15 minutes for the attendant to come to the front desk. After going to my room and discovering the filth, I immediately returned to the front desk and demanded a cancellation. The attendant said I would see a refund for all costs.

At 2:00am, I discovered that our room phone was dead and had to call front desk from my cell. The clerk offered to move us, but having unpacked already and being exhausted from our long drive, we declined. He said he would take care of it. At 3:00am I went to the front desk to follow up, and the clerk kept changing his story — first he said that knocked on the room's door and then called the guest with no responses, then he claimed he "wasn't allowed" to disturb guests. Finally, he gave me a business card with an email address and said to contact the general manager. A nonworking phone is a safety issue, and guest comfort was clearly not a priority. I emailed the GM twice requesting partial restitution and never received a reply. No accountability at any level. If guest comfort and safety matter to you, I recommend choosing another hotel.

The hotel was just fine for an overnight after a big family Christmas dinner and celebration.

The breakfast with the room was wonderful. Our room was decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. We killed two large spiders in the bathroom area.

In the room you only get one small container of soap so you either use it to wash your hands or for the shower. And I am not sure if it was an oversight or not, but there were no face towels in the room. Makes it hard to take a shower with a small bottle of body wash soap and no towel.

By California State Law it is ILLEGAL TO ASK WHY I HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL AND THEN TO ASK ME TO SEE MY DOCTORS PAPERS WITH MY INJURIES AND WHAT REQUIRED ME TO HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL. The room was clean, but our first room had a leak and soaking wet carpet. However, the front desk was very friendly and swapped our room without much issue.

The shower was too strong, too much water pressure and the curtain doesn't cover the whole shower area, so water gets on the floor. Also, a few outlets were coming loose. In the lobby, the women's bathroom was out of order and the lights in the bathroom go out after 30 seconds of not moving. That's not safe. The staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them.

I stay in this place every time I am in CA with work. Handy for local restaurants that are not just chains. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is great. It is looking a bit run down in places but it's good value for money. Would have been a 4 star review, but I managed to ruin a shirt because the ironing board cover had drops of oil on it. It was quickly replaced, but it just shows that attention to detail is lacking.

The bed had bedbugs. I woke up with bites all over my ankles and lower part of my legs. Staff was excellent and so was the breakfast.

I travel a lot and usually have been happy with Best Western. This place is THE WORST. When I checked in nobody was at the front desk for 30 minutes. I even called front desk and nobody answered. I finally checked in then at 3:30 in the morning there was a loud party in the room next to me that the front desk definitely heard. The next morning I asked to switch rooms and they did but the next morning there was a man by the pool Yelling profanity and threats. Wait it gets better. The next morning I asked if I could check out 1 day early. I was told to contact Hotels .com. I did that and the front desk told me YES. on check out I was told I would not get a refund I was lied to........ With so many OPTIONS Avoid this place

LIARS - I checked in a 8pm when o got to my room it only had one bed I had booked two queen size beds, I went back to the desk and he said I booked one king size bed. I showed him my reservation from Expedia where it clearly stated a standard room with two queen size beds. I was with a friend, he’s 78 and I’m 76 and we are not going to sleep in the same bed. He said they didn’t have anymore rooms with two beds and besides Expedia requested a room with one king size bed. We went round and round but he had no rooms with two beds. I ended up sleeping on pillows on the floor. I called Expedia in the morning and they confirmed they had requested what I booked, a standard room with two queen size beds. They called the hotel and the hotel admitted they (Expedia) booked the right room but they had ran out of those rooms (overbooked). I will never stay at this hotel again I will not stay where people lie straight face to you to cover their error and had total disregard for our comfort and what we reserved snd paid for!!! BEWARE these people should not be dealing with the public.

Very accommodating for early check in, friendly staff and spacious 2 queen bedroom! Will definitely be back!

There is no elevator. Not enough rooms for handicapped people. Also very limited in breakfast. Room not very clean

Room was clean and comfortable. One of the best free breakfasts. However there is no elevator and was drug paraphernalia in the back parking lot and people fighting in rooms late at night making it hard to sleep.

Best westerns are always very nice place

We enjoyed our stay, not bad for the price and very convenient freeway access which was our main priority. Our room had everything we needed, checking in and out was easy. The ONLY complaint I would make is that our room could probably use a new mattress. It felt like maybe the middle of it was not as firm as the rest causing that crater effect. That's all, other than that, I would stay here again if needed.

I had a problem getting the TV to work. An employee was there in minutes and got the problem resolved. Breakfast was great. There was a cook to make your breakfast to your order. The staff was very helpful. I look forward to staying there in the future!!

Requested wakeup call for 7:15a, it came at 7:21 and only lasted 4 rings. Dirty bathroom door on the inside. Pink makeup stains on the inside of white face towels. Strong damp unpleasant odor upon entering the room, permeates the room, can't sleep. Plugs in the bedside lamps are loose/don't work. Room phone cord was unplugged/catch is broken off. Coffee machine doesn't work, wasted my bottled water.

The place is dated and the carpet in the common areas smells a little but the room was clean. The breakfast was simple but had many choices (the usual kind). It kept me going until mid afternoon on the road. Great value. I would definitely stay there again.

Other Best Western places take shortcuts on quality as if it doesn’t matter. This location maintains their property like one would expect. I recommend this location.

Very nice and cozy

We have stayed here a few times. The current look and feel of the place is not great. Carpets are worn out in spots, sheets did not look clean and there was a burn hole on the bed cover...we are looking for a new place.

Excellent stay

I've stay at this property multiple times with excellent experiences. This time however the room floor was fikthy. We wore socks in the room & they turned black.

We booked the 2 queen room. We were surprised by how big the room was. 2 beds, sofa, chair, coffee table, gull bath, dresser, tv, and big closet. The staff was so nice! The breakfast was good and so convenient to not have to leave and buy breakfast for 3 teenagers before raging waters. Only thing is that there is no fan in the bathroom, so after 4 of us taking hot showers the whole room got moist/musty and even with the room fan on, it stayed that way even the next day. That was just a small hiccup in a wonderful stay though. I would definitely book again.

Great stay clean room the pools it was because they were nice. Had breakfast all three mornings. The omelettes were very delicious and they had juice and coffee and milk. All in all it was a great stay.

I have stayed here several times. I have also had staff stay here when we needed people in the area. This time I sent my 21 year old daughter her to stay by herself while she was visiting her college. I felt assured that she would be safe. She is comfortable with the property and staff. The staff are all very helpful and nice. It's wonderful to continue to see the same faces time and again.

This is my favorite place to stay in the area. I love the pool and Jacuzzi area. Also best breakfast!!! The cooks in the morning are soooo nice! Love all the roses!

Property needs an update carpets dirty, bathroom fan did not work, air conditioner was noisy. The pool was not heated. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is very old and in need of a major upgrade. The pool is a nice size and there are beautiful flowers everywhere. The rooms are ok in size and clean, but the furniture is old and drab, plus the air conditioning is old and doesnt always keep up. I had to have our rooms switched because the first one reeked of mildew and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. Beds were comfortable enough. The staff were very friendly. Hotel is very conveniently located and breakfast was just ok but you did have options yo customize your order, so that was nice.

Everything was excellent after I got through the first night. I was finally moved to a excellent room around midnight... after I had problems with the TV and a constant ticking sound which got louder as the night progressed. I was unable to sleep, I called the front desk to complain...waited 30 minutes and still nothing. I recorded the sound and walked out to the front desk to complain again. I was finally given the key to a new room... no one offered to help me move my bags to the new room across the patio and upstairs (no elevator). The reason for being there was because my granddaughter was getting married the following day... so not being able to sleep until 1 in the morning left me a little tired the following day.

Black mold in the shower and on the wall in the corner. The carpet is ripped at the entry. The toilet rocks back and forth and is obviously not secured. No smoke detector inn room. For $175.00 you would and should expect better.

This place is a little gem. Great for out of town visitors. Great for locals for a night away. The rose garden is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. I really like there is a microwave and fridge in each room. Pool and jacuzzi access is wonderful

We loved the make to order breakfast! The omelette and French toast were a big hit in our family. The pool and hot tub area was clean and quiet with beautiful flower and rose gardens surrounding the area! We’d definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in San Dimas this is the place. Very quiet,clean. The only thing jacuzzi was not working.

Staff was very nice. Room is spacious and clean. We stayed there to go to the LA county fair was about 15 minutes away. The town is very cute. A lot of shopping centers near by.

Convenient and great breakfast

Our room was by a gate that was used to get to the parking lot. Every time it was used, we could hear it slam shut. Upstairs guest paced back and forth in a very heavy manner most of the night and it sounded as if they were rolling luggage from one side of their room to the other.

The property is decorated so beautifully with gorgeous colorful flowers and plants outside and around the pool area. It was such a lovely sight each time we left and returned to our room. The room itself was clean and had lots of counter space for our family's various toiletries (a rare find it seems in many hotels). Love the fresh made to order hot breakfast choices too.

The bedding is very uncomfortable. Throw pillows used for bedtime pillows.

Vending machine took money. Called front office and he brought a can to my room. Apparently staff knows vending machine not operating right but not fixing it.

The smoke detector alarmed in the early morning at 2-3 clock waked me up and I could not fallen asleep although they took it away.

Great location, clean and spacious rooms, beautiful landscaping, nearby restaurants, attractions and shops. We'll be back!

A bit outdated but well - maintained

The heater thermostat did not function correctly and I had to turn it off completely. There was a funky smell in my room. Only 1 little bar of soap and had to ask for conditioner. The jacuzzi was full of foam which means it was due for a cleaning. For the weekend rate I thought I did not get my moneys worth. The staff was nice. Since there was no bottle opened to be found on the premises the kind man at the desk was able to find a way.

Reception staff was the ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever encountered. I travel every week for business and have stayed in numerous 4 & 5 star hotels, and still have never been received by such a positive and helpful individual as I did here. Room upgrades, extra towels, breakfast dietary modifications... all handled with courtesy, understanding and attentiveness. I wish I could remember his name. Excellent employee!!!
