Staff was not on shift at 9 am for assistance. Television remote control would not turn volume up or down, hallways were horrible ( dirty ) and smelling like weed, crack and cigarettes’ yet they insisted that it’s a smoke free environment. Definitely need to be more professional. Air conditioner needs new filters I had to buy some air freshener to spray the filter so the room would smell like me( a million bucks). I digress.

Location to airport I thought I was staying at a homeless shelter, room had bugs, spiders bad location in town I guess. Felt run down and many people that need a lot of help apparently. I was scared to leave the room alone . Hardly any staff and the front desk girl was short. Horrible place to stay

They had no lamps in the rooms. The first room they sent me to had a broken lock. The tv remote did not work. It was not a pleasant stay and I will probably not stay there again.

There was no one at the reception when we arrived. The desk phone was not working, and the number provided at the reception connected to an AI-generated call instead of an actual person. We waited for around 30 minutes and tried calling multiple times before someone finally came. They mentioned that their Wi-Fi was not working and gave a few explanations, but the overall check-in experience was quite inconvenient.

The property smelled of marijuana everywhere, inside and out. Once we got to our room we discovered it was absolutely FILTHY. Food on the countertops and walls, bugs crawling on the walls, cobwebs everywhere, hair and food on the floors, etc. I really can’t do justice describing how dirty it was. Even worse was that it smelled strongly of a combination of urine, marijuana, and an unrecognizable sour odor. We tried reaching back out to Paola at the front desk, but if course she had quickly vanished following our rude encounter with her at check in. By that time we only had 4 hours before we had to be to the airport to catch our flight. We opted to stretch out on top of the beds and try to get a little sleep, in spite of the horrid filth and odor. What an awful experience and waste of our money!!!!!!

The room smelled like mildew and mold from a filthy AC. The floors made your feet black, the walls were splattered with old food and whatever else.. dirt, feces and blood, there was cockroaches, the bathroom door couldn’t close because it was warped from water damage. The hallway carpets were black and thick with various spilled substances, everywhere smelled like cigarette smoke. The lobby was covered in animal hair. Homeless people fighting in the parking lot. The people who live there apparently, arebrude and terrifying. The outlets in the bathroom and “kitchen” don’t work.. so I hope you don’t plan on grooming yourself, because you can’t. Which is probably not an issue for most of the ppl there but was a big issue for me. The bed were filthy there was debris all in the corners of the bed frame. The walls had holes that were half spackled. You could hear the people next door. I cannot express enough how bad this place smells. We had to buy pillows from Walmart because their pillows were stained with yellow spots, and had to get mucinex and Sudafed from breathing in moldy AC air. I feel like I need some kind of vaccination from stepping foot into this filthy hotel. And a full refund for the mental anguish the coach roaches on my bed caused. HORRIBLE

No check in after 10 pm. Flight didn’t land until 10:30. Had to call a number to get someone to check us in. Person at the other end of the phone was no help. Luckily someone else called & got someone to open up. Think it’s strange that a hotel right near the airport doesn’t have hours when there are still flights coming in. Building is a little run down. The sheets were clean. No items in the room for an efficiency. No plates or glasses. No shampoo. Found out after check in that you have to get those items from the front desk that isn’t open. Only stayed one night. Noise level was pretty high. Wouldn’t stay there again. No much in the area so no food to get.

I would give this a zero star if I could, the only positive thing I can think of is the Kind young man at the desk, he kindly helped us to get a refund even after checking in. Hallways are absolutely filthy and crowded with folks hanging out on the floor by their rooms. Elevator filthy, smells were overwhelming and it was loud! When we entered our room, we got hit with an extremely strong smell of MOLD. We couldn’t stay longer than a few minutes, walls has streaks of brown and white, bathrooms dirty. Like I’ve mentioned earlier, thankfully the young men at the desk without hesitation got us a refund fast. Definitely DO NOT recommend!

First impressions are important, and they failed. Although the staff was GREAT, there was a horrible smell throughout the hotel. The carpets n the hallways were filthy and nasty.. The garbage out front wasn't emptied the three days I was there. The showers were old, and looked like they weren't cleaned since Reagan was president. Coffee, seriously what hotel doesn't have a coffee maker in the room? I had to go to Walmart and get a Keurig to have some in the morning. No breakfast offered. If you were hungry or thirsty, they do offer a soda machine and snack machine in the lobby. I just wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a pinch!

There was absolutely nothing in the room. No toiletries or blowdryer. No cups for water. The air conditioner worked fine - but I could not get any local channels on the television. I am a frequent traveler and use Sanford/Orlando Airport quite often, but will not be using this hotel again.

The hotel is in overall Poor shape, bad conditions, vent full of mold and rust, lights didn’t work, towels were musty. Inside hotel stunk of pot and elevator felt so unsafe.

Was a good get away.

Broken lock on the door, dangling by one screw. Standing liquid that was sticky in the elevator. Bathroom door would not close, it did not fit the door frame. Several dark hairs on the sink and counter in the bathroom. Lights in the room did not work. Phone in the lobby said to dial zero if arriving late however, no one came. Had to contact someone outside of the building to try to get a hold of the night manager to finally come down, which took over 20 minutes.

Not really a hotel, more of a temporary housing complex. Lots of people living in building. Staff was great and tried best to help make stay bearable.

The entire place smelled of smoke with tons of perfume sprayed over it to try to disguise it. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower, as well as hair on the bottom of the shower.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. The floors were so dirty my daughter's light colored socks turned black almost immediately. The police were on scene twice. There's a lot more but it won't let me type it all.

We had a late check-in and at that hour there's no one at the desk. You have to call a phone number for someone to let you in and there was no way to get in. We were exhausted and cannot get into our room. The room had cockroaches and the bedsheets had blood stain the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in for the amount of money we had to paycockroaches.

It was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It literally sounded like there was a herd of elephants above me. Kids screaming in the hallways. I stayed there so I could get a little extra sleep before I got on a flight. I should’ve stayed home.

I booked a room through you with 2 queen beds as I was picking up a buddy at the airport at 11:00 PM and flying out at 8:00 AM the next morning. When I arrived at the hotel they did not have a room with 2 beds available. Very unprofessional booking, totally unsatisfied.

I did not like the smell of marijuana throughout the hallways. I did not like the children running up and down the hallways playing with balls and bouncing them all around. I did not like the dogs barking at 12:31 in the morning.

Dreary, cheap experience. It's not the bargain that it seems. Room was clean but very dated and bare. Hallways were dirty, carpet sticky and and the whole place smelled of mildew. The whole property is run down. On the brighter side, front desk personnel were competent, pleasent, helpful.

The parking lot has prostitutes and shady people, and it smells like urine at the main entrance. Upon entering my room, it smelled like fresh paint. Very strong. I noticed a repair list on the counter. Seems like this unit was in the middle of a repair. I requested another room but was told they all have that smell. The bed sheets and floor were embedded and covered in long strands of hair. The walls are thin and you can hear everything from the units surrounding you and people outside arguing in the middle of the night. I will be sure to read the reviews before I book last minute again.

The room was nice. The location was the problem. We were the 1 st room after the laundry room & everyone smoked outside of our window. The voices & machines were a lot, so we slept with the TV on to drown out the noises. In the parking lot we were approached for money by other residents. We wanted the closest hotel to the airport because we had an early flight.

The young man who checked me in was very pleasant but not very helpful. It was raining and clearly I had my hands full of luggage and was exhausted. He handed me a mirror tag to place in my car to verify it was allowed to park there. He seemed annoyed when I told him to watch my bags as I wasn't dragging it all out again into the rain. The room was nasty with filth behind the table and dresser, the cabinets were sticky with grease. There were no utensils or amenities to use the kitchen and why 2 microwaves? One was a huge countertop model that took up almost the entire table (about the size of a card table). I put it on the floor. Then a strange, large bug crawled across the floor. That did me in. I stayed up all night and was relieved to leave so early to get to the airport. Never again.

Room was clean.! However, there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom.! No phone in the room to call office.! Office was closed. The only thing that stood out was the entry and registration process.! No deposit was required.! The room has a kitchenette.! Lower level was not available even though the building was empty?

Was told the room was recently renovated. It had a counter in the kitchen from the 70's with a metal sink and a 2 burner electric coil stovetop. The beds were on metal legs, and the window coverings were very old warped horizontal blinds. The air conditioner did work well, and there was a full sized fridge, but no microwave. Bathroom was clean and functional.

This facility should be taken out of rotation. Defects too numerous to list, but multiple guests coming to front desk to request toilet paper is a start.

There is roach spots and droppings in room along with filth, dirt and grind smooshed into the outlets, kitchen drawers, have food in them in roach, droppings, and roach poop. Bathroom walls have dirt and grind all over them along with the light switches, cobwebs in the shower vent is covered by greasy waxy buildup.

We had to make our way through 5 men loitering at the entrance, the building smells of animals immediately upon entering, felt more like being herded through a cattle stall than a reception area. Sketchy. Room floors dirty. Won't be returning.

I pulled into the property after driving 2 and half hours from Jensen beach Florida. I had been there for a 10 day vacation. My flight was early at 6 am to leave the next morning so I booked this hotel for Sunday. I wanted to be close to Orlando Sanford airport. I was shocked to see this place. They advertise very wrong. I called customer service today once I got home. They still have not responded back. I canceled this place and found another. They charged my card anyway. Please do not go to this place.

It was ok. The building had kind of a worn down look to it. There was a weird smell throughout the building. The first night i was there the TV didn't connect to the dish network they use. so, you couldn't watch anything. the second night it worked though. There was some damage here in there in the room. of course. you have tons of guest coming and going throughout the years so, you can't fully control that. However, the room was pretty clean. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. I had to check out sunday before the front desk opened. I was a bit confused. I ended up leaving before the front desk opened cause i had places to go. So, i called later that day and confirmed i had checked out, and it went pretty smoothly. The guest was pretty good. no one super loud or obnoxious. The bed was moderately comfortable. the pillows were not great. but, i managed to get to sleep.

I cancelled the room by phone then by email and got charged for it. I sent an email to you two days ago with no rest..I'm assuming you won't respond to this one also.. because that's big corporate America

Dirty walls and very noisy

This hotel was very dirty. There was trash in the elevator, stains all over the carpets, it reeked of pet mess (pee, poop, probably other things), and was not well kept. I spoke to the staff member at the desk and she was very friendly. I expressed that I was not comfortable staying there and she assured me I’d be able to get a refund. That has yet to happen and I am very unsatisfied with my overall experience. I was not even at the hotel for longer than 10 minutes and did touch a single thing in the room.

The halls had stains on walls and floors. Large dust bunnies too. The room itself had a major sticky floor, grease stains running down the wall and stale smoke smell in a nonsmoking room. The bed appeared clean but I slept fully clothed Had it not been so late after a major airline delay, I would have gone to find somewhere else to stay. Definitely do not recommend this property.

Our flight was cancelled at Orlando Sanford Airport and we chose a hotel close to the airport. Upon arrival at Extended Stay, we first noticed the vagrants hanging around the parking lot and lobby. Shirtless, toothless, tatted up dirt bags staring at my wife and daughter. The hotel smelled like urine, cigarettes, mold, and sadness. The carpet is stained...the rooms are dirty and run down. Never would I stay there...we booked another hotel immediately and got a refund. Others from the same flight did the exact same thing as us...checked in and turned around and got a refund. It was dirty and felt very unsafe. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you have a family.

This was the most disgusting property I have ever stayed at. I chose it because it was and Extended Stay Brand which I have stayed at in other places. The hallways were horrible. Smelly with stained carpets. The shower faucet was full of mildew/mild. A rusted shower curtain rod. This place was a dump!

Ants everywhere and you have to wash your own towels and sheets or pay the hotel. One Philippine lady was very rude and hangs up on you. And if we were to leave early we get penalized and won't get all of your money back.

When I saw a cockroach run back under the burner, I zipped up the suitcase, kept it on the bed and hung up my clothes for next day. Put my purse & sweater on shelf above hanging clothes. The bed was well made, sheets & towels were bright white, no complaint there, and the air conditioner worked well. I took pictures.

A lot of Riff raff coming in and out of check in area, while waiting to check in.We both thought is this place safe?.Is it a place of transient oppose to a travelers hotel..Upon entering the room, we were assaulted with a bad odor. The tv was on when we came in. The floors in bathroom and thru out the room were very dirty.. Very noisy at night.We would not recommend at all.

Hotel is full of homeless residents, No breakfast as indicated on site. No phone in room, room are outdated and filthy. Water faucet dripping all night. Front desk close at night and opens 10 am. To change towels it cost $1.95 additional per night. Hotel is filthy, rugs smelly and although no smoking signs the hotel is smokey. Terrible stay!!!

The only thing good about this place is the location to the airport. Fair warning, once you check in you wont find anyone that works there. GROSS, Disgusting, Nasty. I'm not usually that picky, cleaning staff sometimes isn't the best so I just know I might have to wipe the counter off and the tub. But OMG. everything was dirty, nothing was clean. AND THE ROACHES!!!! coming out of the shower after my husband was done, turn the lights off and wait a minute you can hear them come out and turn the light on quick, BARF, they scatter like fleas on a dog. NEVER NEVER again. Dont even get me started on the people that live there. UUGH it's over thank goodness.

There was urine all over the bathroom and poop smeared on the wall! A man was urinating by the main entrance and with his privates out he made inappropriate comments to me. I requested my money back for the 2 night stay, they refused. I left and stayed in another hotel for the 2 nights.

A cigarette was on the windowsill of my room. Considering the long notice I got about a no smoking room I thought that was ridiculous. So much for a no smoking room.

If i could post pictures. Absolutely disgusting. Filthy is a compliment. Black mold in the kitchennette area, the bathroom. We felt very unsafe. I travelled with my 90 yr old father to bury my nephew.and he told to put a chair against the door. No airport shuttle 3 miles away. Unsavory people l. A reserved parking space for Law enforcement. Highly do not recommend. The health department will be notified.

Had to walk down the trash accumulated from my week stay around back to dumpster. No maids for room service. Roaches. And was charged a $100 deposit on top of the $500 something I paid. FOR WHAT?!!!!! This place is awful. Won’t stay here again and do not recommend to anyone. If I don’t get my deposit back, this review will be worst with lawyers involved

I am not a fussy traveller but this place was absolutely detestable. Floors were sticky, tables and counters were not wiped, and walls were filthy. Beds appeared clean. Spend a few extra dollars and stay elsewhere.

I checked in just a little after 10pm. I had to use a filthy phone on the wall to call someone, I waited. The gentleman that helped me was super friendly. Got to our room and smelled of cigarette smoke and had to go back and ask for another room. The next room as nice. The hallways are filthy, the walls in the hallway are filthy, the elevators are questionable and worrisome. It seemed more of a place that provided long term housing as the room as had full kitchens in them. The environment of this hotel was very sketchy and concerning.

Mold, roaches and whatever else you can think of that would make you not want to stay here, think of it because this place probably has it all.

It was horrible and my family and I did not stay due to roaches spider webs and all around bad service.

The place was FILTHY , no smoking signs everywhere but it smelled like cigarettes everywhere. Roaches in every room that was offered. They are also stern on no refunds all hotels.com could do is give 25$ for another hotel visit.

Cockroaches and more cockroaches and more cockroaches. The worse smelling hotel ever. All the staff was well aware of the poor conditions. The staff was aware of the hotel we changed to in the middle of the night of how poor the first hotel. It was awful experience and Extended America Stays, is a step up be for the homeless, not for anyone on vacation.

Dirtiest place ever. Smelled of mold

Several families living on property full time. Elevator out of order. Access through emergency stairs. Family dispute in middle of night. Resulting in one person being locked out and a lot of yelling.

This hotel is nasty. First off I booked weeks in advance. Get to the property it looks nothing like the photos. When checking in, I’m told the only room we have for you is on the 4th floor and the elevators are broken. I get to my floor the hall carpets look like someone’s dog had bladder issues. There was blood on the stairwell walls. The hall walls were super dirty. Get to the room, tv doesn’t work, Go to lay on the bed and about broke my back the mattress was so hard. The walls are paper thin to the point I could hear the people next to me pee. I do not recommend. Also this is an extended stay, never have I been charged for utensils or if you even attempted to make a call on the phone it’s a dollar.

The place was filthy and not taken care of very well. The elevator was not working so you had to take the stairs. There was stains and filth everywhere i wond up sleeping in my truck that night.

Expidia need to get more info before offer the nightmare hotel please

Rates are cheap for a reason. Area and facilities were dangerous. Be advised this is a discount for a reason. Not recommended for women and children.

Very dirty and smell horrible like dirt cat pee dog cigarrete. The stairs are nasty!!!

The beds are comfortable, staff was friendly, my room was clean.

The place is in a bad place also the whole inside of it when you walk into your room a stink it smell like dog and it's so much noise from the people that are living in it

My room was outdated, with broken furniture and a clogged toilet. I also saw small roaches in the bathroom. I asked the front desk to switch rooms and when they gave the keys to the new room, the keys did not work. They had to reprogram the key twice and still nothing. I finally decided to leave. There was not way I would spend a night in such horrible place. This hotel looks like a horror movie where a murder is about to happen at any minute. When I told the front desk lady about the roaches she said "well this is Florida". I used lived in Florida for more than 20 years and have never seen a hotel this bad. This property chain should be assamed of this location! I understand that this is a low budget hotel but cleanliness is the least you would expect. I was in town for a bussiness meeting and needed a place just to spend the night, but after this experience, next time I just rather drive the 7 hours back home, or I would spend the night in my car on a rest area. Please avoid this place my all means! What a such depressing place!

We went to have a late check in at this hotel and the front desk was closed. You could hear and see people, but they refused to check you in the smell of pot was overwhelming. When they finally did answer, they told us the elevator was broken and we would be on the fourth floor. Needless to say, we walked out the door.
