Ac didn’t work was moved into another room where it also didn’t work, just blows in outside air. Hair dryer didn’t work they gave us another, phone didn’t work, coffee maker leaked everywhere. Tv kept freezing and becoming unusable in both rooms. No screen on window.

It was clean and quiet and close to the boardwalk It did not offer breakfast (besides cereal and coffee)

I loved everything. The staff was nice. The rooms are clean. I slept good. I haven’t slept like that in years. Everything was perfect about the hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was the weird people staying there but other than that, everything was perfect

Was really close to the boardwalk less than five minutes of a walk.

The structure looks old on the outside but newly renovated on the inside. Clean and quiet. Can walk from the property to the boardwalk. For the price, it was very good, esp, on the go breakfast is included. Coffee and juice available all day. There's a small pool also.

Condition of this place can really use some upgrades. Expected a little more with the price that we paid. Requested bottom floor prior to arrival but it was ignored, ended up on 2nd floor. The lock on the door was broken, called the office but no one picked up so had to walk down to get someone. This property is privately operated under Super 8, the guy at the office came and checked on the lock and then came back to change the battery (instead of offering a different room and deal with this on his own without interruptions). Room was dusty and not well cleaned, beds were uncomfortable with metal platform bed frame that makes loud squeaks every time you move. Air conditioning is also super loud and dirty. The property also has a bad odor and we’re just not pleased with the overall experience. We usually are pretty flexible and try to overlook little issues when we travel but this one really needs some upgrades and attention. Won’t return again.

The air conditioner was too noisy, so I didn't use it. Also the refrigerator in the room was noisy.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke when it was advertised as a smoke free hotel! There were also unsettling stains on the bed sheets.

The staff were very nice. The bed was comfortable enough, and the room was clean. However, there was no hot water in the shower. I know standards are lower at budget hotels, and I'm willing to overlook slightly stained sheets, etc. But a lack of hot water is unacceptable. There were a few other budget hotels in the area, so I'll definitely be staying somewhere else next time.

Room was immaculate, much larger than expected, and very comfortable. Staff has always been absolutely wonderful and welcoming, as well as very accommodating. Absolutely will be staying here again soon!

The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating for our late check-in. The room was spotless. You can tell the room was beautifully upgraded from floor to ceiling as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and surroundings were clean & quiet. Breakfast was simple(fruit, cereal, granola bars, tea & coffee) but perfect to tie us over til we went out to brunch. We will definitely be back again.

Wife beater motel. No front desk personnel to deal with emergencies. No noise hours enforced. People do what they want. Not very safe. It gets two stars instead of one because it's walking distance from the boardwalk.

The key to the door never worked. We kept on going back to the front desk to get them rekeyed. Just was very annoyed. Plus they wouldn’t split the bill with my friend and I. The gentleman didn’t understand. I wouldn’t come back.

Booked last minute for a holiday weekend. Only thing near the boardwalk that was under 500/night. for over 300/night it was definitely not worth that cost. The pool was dirty (bandages and other debris floating in it) freezing cold, not heated at all. If the pool was a little heated and cleaner I would find the cost to be OK. the room was clean, but the whole building looks and feels like it is going to fall down. Parking is TIGHT. Owner said 24 rooms and 24 spaces to park. A couple cars parked where there weren't designated space though. Back into a spot or you will have difficulty getting out.

The exterior of the property is pretty worn down, i was a bit hesitant when we arrived, but the room was in excellent condition. Completely remodeled and very clean.

The hotel sits on a busy road, so you can hear all the noise from the bikers, trucks, etc. There is no soundproofing at all! At night, we could hear the sound of neighbor's TV, at 5 am - seagulls. But what is absolutely the worst is their beds! They have metal frames and some sort of metal springs that make a loud noise every time you sit down, get up or turn in bed. The worst hotel we have ever experienced.

Cost effective and very nice upgraded rooms. The outside doesn’t match how lovely the rooms were and bonus is you can walk to the boardwalk and the wharf very easily. Staff was super nice and you could grab coffee, cereal, or granola bar every morning. Awesome and super happy with our stay!

Breakfast was old, stale. Room was dirty. Water smelled horrible. Noisy from traffic and other people staying at the hotel late at night. Parking was horrible, no room for all the cars. Over priced for such a horrible place to stay.

Breakfast was coffee, orange juice, cereal, bananas, and chewy bars. Just something quick not actual breakfast. The rooms each had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Shower has full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash just in case you forget or don't want to pack it. Beds were comfy and pillows were too. Our phone did not work, not sure why. The AC we figured out had a trick to it or it keeps turning of and room can get hot & stuffy! I do believe they do housekeeping to every room daily, so tell them you don't want it because there is no sign for door. The housekeepers were very nice and friendly! Parking is pretty tight and even worse when you have people who don't park right. We had no issue with our parking and rarely moved because everything was walking distance for us. Pool was small but perfect. It went from 4ft to 7 feet deep! My kids and family enjoyed it. Doesn’t need to be a big pool to have fun! Plus, it was just some downtime we had from other plans. Only issue was cold water pressure was low-none & they shut off our water to fix a leak and didn't inform us until i went to ask. You're walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, beach, and much more. I would definitely stay here again!

A/C only blows outside air, probably needs recharge, and the unit was filthy. Room was very stuffy and you can't open windows. No drapes, wood shutters don't close tight so excessive light at bed time. Road/traffic noise outside very loud so hard to get to sleep. Bathroom shower black mold. Ice machine broken, juice machine broken, soda machine broken. Location near the boardwalk though if you can put up with the above. After we left, the manager added a $5.70 charge to our cc although we fully paid through Orbitz. I called and he said that was a mistake and he would take it off.

Door has a big gap you can see all the light outside. Too noisy. Bathrooms need more cleaning sink has a lot of mold around it. Pillows were horrible.

I liked that the hotel was right down the street from the boardwalk and for a great price. Only thing that I did not like was there was only 3 available channels on our tv when it was time to lay down and rest so we couldn’t watch anything interesting. It’s a good hotel though.

Rooms were remodeled and very clean! No old shag carpet, but clean pergo flooring.

No towels, no tissues, no t.v. guide no safe way for a disabled veteran to access the rooms provided. The stairs were unsafe and hazardous with a pot hole at the bottom of the stairs, almost broke my foot. The parking is a joke must find a place in the neighborhood, not a good situation.

Check in took quite awhile even though I’d already gone thru the online check in process. The pool was freezing cold and the surrounding area looked somewhat unkempt. The short distance to the Boardwalk was great, merely steps! The biggest concern for me was the locking of the door: the deadbolt could lock from inside, but there was no way to lock it front the outside when going out for the day. Worse than that though was the extra lock on the interior door that was loosening from the door and didn’t even stay on. Luckily I had a screwdriver and some wood glue, so that room is all good for now, but who knows about the rest.

The room was clean, for the most part. Besides the mold on the ceiling of the shower. The parking is the worst. Not only is it very narrow to pull in/out, there is very limited parking spots. People parked there that weren’t even staying there, which would subject you to parking on the street and you’d have to pay for that. They also allowed kids and families to swim in the pool, screaming and playing loud music until almost 1am. If you want quiet and relaxation, this hotel is not for you.

the location was great. we were able to check in early. the a/c unit was as loud as a semi truck backing into the room. we never heard neighboring units or traffic due to the a/c.

Only a few minutes walk to the Broadwalk for the attractions and places to eat. Downside was no breakfast the next morning.

Our room was spectacular. Clean, updated, larger than expected. We had asked for a crib, and initially the staff were not sure if they had one, but by the time we parked the car (less than 5 minutes to park & unload), they handed us a practically new pack-n-play, which was perfect. Location is walkable to boardwalk and pier, as well as other places. We would definitely stay here again. The stairs to the second floor were a bit precarious, but doable.

I booked this property because it looked like it had a nice patio area when we got there it’s completely caution taped off. We were woken up by hammering at 8am on Saturday as they were working on the patio which they should state in the booking as what if we were trying to have a relaxing trip then we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Also it looks 100x nicer in the photos, I was shocked at what the outside of this place looked like upon arrival. The guy at the front desk also tried to charge me a second time after I had prepaid. This is an awful hotel and if I could have got a refund and stayed somewhere else I would have. Will never return.

When I returned from working on my dad's estate documents, I found my door wide open and the manager in the adjacent room. I attempted to ask him why the door was open and why my belongings had been gone through without my knowledge. The bed had been stripped, and my belongings were clearly looked into. I had not returned the room key to the box as instructed. When I asked him why he was in my room, he told me it was because I was leaving. I questioned why he didn’t ask me first, especially since my things were still there. All he had to do was say there had been a miscommunication and ask about my plans. Instead, he ran away from me. I left and stayed next door at the Comfort Inn, which had a much better room!

My room smelled extremely strong of the cleaning agents they are using, even after three nights and keeping the window open at all times it still smelled. The attendants made up the room on day 1,and I was pleasantly surprised by that, but not on day 2. Not sure what happened there. It would be good to have a menu of TV station. All in all a decent motel.

The man who checked us in was so above exceptional, he checked us in an hour early and was so helpful for information, The hotel was very clean and we felt very welcomed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great location and the room itself was good as well. But there were many cons. Breakfast was juice, coffee, and breakfast bars. The heater sounded like a freight train at night. The walls are thin. There was a couple having a heated discussion in the morning ( but not full on yelling) and I could hear random plumbing noises. Finally, shower was warm, but never got hot. Still, it was the best Super8 experience I have had. Lol

Rooms were updated and clean. Parking lot is small and difficult to maneuver in. The granola bars and pastries for the grab-n-go breakfast was nice enough.

The family that owns and manages the property is sweet and polite. The property is undergoing a renovation to the pool, so a little messy. However, the remodeled rooms are perfect! We stayed a week and loved it! The location for its access to downtown and the beach were perfect. We had the chance to walk everywhere while our car was kept safe in the lot on site. We had a wonderful time here. A great value for the money. (clean, safe and close to downtown and the beach.)

This is a very run down motel on the outside, some rooms remodeled. Pool is dirty or needs repair. The manager gave us a room knowing the AC didn't work. We had to change rooms. The room was clean. Unlike most Super 8's, there is no breakfast, even though it says "breakfast item", which means some sort of small food bar. Overall, this was a disappointing motel, and I have stayed at many Super 8's

It was not the advertised property at all. The pictures were a much nicer property that appeared cleaner and newer. It advertised a light continental breakfast that turned out to be a granola bar, or Twinkies. The proximity to the boardwalk was nice.

Happy to stay here and have a couple blocks to the beach and boardwalk amusement park. This hotel is owned and operated by a family. They have done a fine job at remodeling the rooms. Please do not hesitate to stay here just because the outside of the hotel seems not as shiny and new as others. Know that you are supporting an immigrant family and trust that your room is superbly clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Thank you!

Got there at 3 for check in and our room wasn’t ready. They gave us another room with no air conditioning working. It was extremely hot an uncomfortable and our room smelt super gross. Pool was dirty and guy at front had a hard time speaking English. Only good thing was it was close to the water for walking to the beach and attractions.

Great location for beach & boardwalk. I debated whether the Queen beds I booked were actually Full size but I didn’t measure 😉

Rooms were nice and clean, AC didn’t work in one room but the other one was fine. Luckily it’s cooler at night so it wasn’t bad. Breakfast was just wrapped bars. Like fig newton. Coffee.not sure what else I just glanced at it checking out.The walk to boardwalk was easily less than 10 min. Good amount of parking spaces,Pool was open but didn’t get in. Overall great stay for the price! And the staff was pleasant

2nd time staying at this hotel. It's convenient and always clean. Manager is always a delight. Perfect place to stay if going to Boardwalk and/or Wharf, no need to pay for parking the walk is short and pleasant.

Staff was extremely friendly i hate to leave a bad review but the Ac didn’t work the room was extremely hot and humid made it almost unbearable to sleep. The bathroom was clean but when flushing the toilet it made the whole room smell like sewer water. We had to leave the room door open.

My room was located on the bottom floor , you could hear traffic through the night so if you are looking for super quiet this won’t work (not street side rooms at least). Nothing special but a decent room for 1 night with kids. Very close and easy to walk to the boardwalk.

Stayed July 8,9 10 checked out on the 11th. Owners are very nice. Very courteous. Polite and helpful. Nice renovated rooms. Nice little pool. Only thing lacking is their grab and go breakfast. That definitely needs improvement. Would have given 5 stars instead of 4. We went out for breakfast!!

It’s an inexpensive hotel by the beach; you get what you pay for. Room was nice enough, parking lot is safe, staff is nice. My AC didn’t work but it’s cool enough at night. Fair value for the money.

This motel was a perfect fit for our family trip. The short walk to the boardwalk quick dips in the pool and friendly service are the stand features. The room in the bathroom were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a no-frills motel stay.

The stay was ok. Room was ok but we payed a lot for it the o ly thing great was how close it was to the boardwalk (like 5 min walk) area not so good window right on a street very noisey both nights. Pool extremely small and though the person that checked us in was night the next day when i went to the lobby some staright ass was asking me what i was doing as i was getting coffee in the lobby. No hi are you staying here?? Good morning? Nothing just "what are you doing" i said getting coffee its free right? Im staying here? (Mind you 300 dollars a night for a damn super 8) the he asked me rudley what room i was in i told him then he proceeds to tell me "no one is staying in that room do not come back here" then i had to very aggressively tell him over and over i was satying there my name amd what room (which was the room he pretending no one was staying in) and tell him to look up my damm name. Then when he finally did he said stupidly "oh i guess your right" no apology no nothing. POS. I have never been treated like that in my hundreds of hotel stays.

Walking distance from the boardwalk! Very clean. I have never stayed in a super 8, but the pictures didnt lie. I decided to give it a try and so glad I did! The only downside- their coffee is terrible and I didn’t see anywhere to get coffee in the morning that was walking distance. Great for families. When we arrived there were so many families getting back from the beach and in the pool. I didn’t hear anyone once inside.

We left after one night instead of the original 3 nights booked. Horrible experience.

Other than location, this place is pretty runned down. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Floors where glued together with mix matching colors. I only stayed a couple of hours for a run in the morning, but if you staying longer go else where. Check in was easy and friendly, just everything else is not great.

The room is large and very clean. However, there was nowhere to hang clothes. There were other malfunction issues that we reported to the owner, and she is eager to fix them when we leave. She said the cleaners do not always report those little issues. Other than that, we had a great time.

It was one of the worst motels/hotels that I have ever stayed since 25 years in the USA. There was no place nor equipment for hanging your clothes in the room. No place to have a breakfast, and all you can have cereals and some cookies that you can eat standing or by taking into your room. Not a good example for Expedia.
