Very accommodating regarding early check in, check out, and pets and that is so appreciated.

Elevator was very slow. Only one in entire building. You have to let the front desk know if you want your room cleaned. They don’t automatically clean the room throughout your stay. Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Bathroom could use refurbishment. Lobby of hotel and half of our floor was under repair for a leak. Overall it was good but could use some tweaks.

Lo que no me gustó fue que la habitación que nos dieron olía mal. Anteriormente el inquilino que ocupó la habitación estaba acompañado de su mascota y el mal olor inundaba la habitación, le pedí a la señorita que estaba haciendo el chek in que nos diera otra habitación y me dijo que era imposible que el hotel estaba lleno. A penas pude dormir por el mal olor. A la mañana siguiente fuimos a la recepción para pedir que nos cambiaran de habitación y la señora que estaba en ese momento me dijo que era imposible. Al ver que casi eran las 11:00am y que debían haber habitaciones vacías, le dijimos que por favor nos asignara alguna habitación de las que se estaban vaciando. Al final tuvo que venir otra señora latina que me hubiera gustado saber su nombre para darle un gran reconocimiento por que a través de ella pudimos obtener otra habitación sin mal olor. Conclusión, si no hubiera sido por la señora latina que tan amablemente nos ayudó nuestra estancia hubiera sido un desastre . El hotel está en construcción.

I wish we had chosen a different hotel or knew that the hotel would have been booked by multiple baseball teams. The kids ran around all night, slamming doors which made entire room vibrate and my family could barely sleep a wink. There was running above us and running up and down the halls on our floor. The pool was inaccessible if we wanted to as it was taken over by the teams. Parents could do a bit better with their kids knowing other folks were staying at hotel on vacation or even staff could have maybe tell them to be respectful or mindful of others. Terrible stay!

Staff were amazing as usual, I stay there whenever I travel to Sarasota. Breakfast is a wonderful experience with a great staff taking care of everyone that comes to breakfast. We ate dinner around the fire feature and roasted marshmallows after, it was romantic for us and others seemed to enjoy sitting around the fire near the pond. Very nice! Thank you for another wonderful experience.

I stayed in this hotel twice and both times I’ve absolutely loved it. For the price, the amenities are really good. They have hot breakfast. The pool is average, but it’s just exactly what you need and there’s also a Jacuzzi, which is nice and relaxing. The locations to the beaches and other areas that are enjoyable are relatively close, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable and I will be staying there again in the near future.

Property had water damage that they're working on. There are drying fans on in the lobby and in a hallway. The room also showed signs of water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the bed was too firm making it hard to sleep comfortably. As for breakfast the eggs were the watery egg beaters. No bagels. Breakfast also offered waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, sausage/ham, & oatmeal. The plus was the distance to the beach. Staff were nice.

Well the hotel almost burned down while they were installing solar panels on the roof and they really didn’t do anything to accommodate us. But it wasn’t fully the hotel’s fault so I give it a three out of 5 stars lol

Had to change rooms cause the sheets were not washed & bathroom smelt like black mold because there was no fan! Breakfast was not good.

The management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and up-kept, there was hot breakfast provided every morning, not continental.

Bathroom was in terrible condition, white stains all over the walls, broken tiles , black mold in the grout all along the top of the tub, and bugs actively crawling in the light in the bathroom, mirror was even like water damaged and swelling all around.

Check in was a disaster. I have never encountered a more rude hotel employee. The rooms were dirty, not vacuumed under furniture, debris on floor, stains on carpet and severe wear and tear. Two different hotel employees entered our room without knocking. We booked 3 nights and left after 1. When we checked out early, the woman at the front desk was very apologetic and offered a very small discount on one of the rooms. Would not stay here or recommend it.

Courteous staff, good breakfast. Had to have a lightbulb replaced in the bathroom. There was very loud electronic testing that was disruptive for about an hour Thursday morning. It would have been nice to have had some warning about it, so we could have planned to be out of the hotel at the time. Very nice pool area, and we enjoyed the hot tub!

Very disappointed that this very expensive stay was denied Choice Hotel Credit/Points because we used Expedia for the booking. If I am the customer and member why am I not receiving credit for a Choice program. Why are my credits transferred to Expedia if I choose Choice hotels? This is not right and compromises my future interest in anything Choice related.

Terrible breakfast room smells awful service room clean my room just one time for four days they leave me out is my pajama for a bed and they can’t make my bed. Don’t empty, trashes terrible terrible I’m I never come back for the hotel.

Room had poor lighting. Water pressure in show was almost non existent.Go out for breakfast theirs was basically cold scrambled eggs and taste less sausage.

First, can't give the property 5 stars for only one reason - the water pressure in the showers was very low making it hard to get clean, and not a good shower experience. Everything else was great - location good, quiet as it is away from the roads, clean, good simple breakfast, great staff, large rooms, comfortable beds. Just need to fix the water pressure in the showers.

Two items kept this from being a 5 star happy review: 1. Doors, when closing, were very noisy. We could hear our neighbors doors and the exit door (which was convenient but for this case, added to the problem) bang shut whenever someone came or left. Ours was just as noisy when closing and probably bothered others as well. 2. The coffee, both the Keurig type pods in the room and the coffee served at breakfast, was awful. I’m a coffee drinker and I drink it black no sugar. Everywhere. So be prepared if you are like me and bring your own pods or get it before you go or plan to go out for it.

The staff was great for check in and check out, very helpful and courteous. For the room it was okay....a little disappointed that I couldn't change the temperature of my room, it was set and couldn't be adjusted. My bathroom looked like it had water damage, rusty around the door frame and the shower was all caulked and rusty looking. There was shampoo/conditioner/body lotion offered, but no liquid soap....just small bar soap. My clock on the nightstand was set at the wrong time and I couldn't fix it, there were no batteries in it and it couldn't be unplugged. There were no gluten free or dairy free options or any pastries of any kind for breakfast, so we decided to eat out instead. Would I stay at a Comfort Suites again, probably not...I'd stick with my go to, Holiday Inn Express.

Over all the stay was okay. My first impression walking in the front desk lady was absolutely rude, if I didn’t book online I most definitely would have found another place to stay. Other than that everything was fine. The room was nice but kinda gross at the same time. Our room had brownish stuff splashed all over the walls and trim of the door of the door in the bathroom. Right between the tv and the desk, there was also a substance on the wall. Normally I would be like oh well we are human we miss things, but it was bad enough there was no way to miss it.

We arrived late at night and had no issues getting our room; the night clerk was friendly. The room was large and clean. The bed itself was comfortable but there was no mattress protector and the pillows were the size of a couch throw pillow. I can’t comment on breakfast because we met our son for breakfast at a local restaurant. It was a good value compared to other hotels in the area. I would stay here again but bring my own pillows.

Decent location, I chose it for easy access to some major routes to go around and explore sarasota, however it is still a ~20-35 minute drive to the beach during peak hours. Decent price for what you get, but still fairly high, however I can see because it is in Sarasota which is pricey as is. The rooms are not sound proofed very well and people opening and closing their doors to come and go is very loud. Beds are comfortable. Cleanliness of the room is not the worst, but also not the best. It is a good budget/family friendly hotel.

Pretty nice place, rooms are good and roomie, nice and clean, plenty of towels in the bathroom. A couple of minor things like ice machine on my floor wasn't working and the shower head needed to be replaced since the water pressure was real bad coming out of the shower head but not from the spout at the bottom.

The room was ok it needs to be updated there was mold on the bathroom tile in bathroom. The breakfast was ok the muffins were stale

Comfort Inn was great. The breakfast could be better don’t really like only powdered eggs and sausage. The staff was outstanding and friendly location quiet and clean. I will stay here again next time I’m in the area.

I stay here once a month for business, and almost always get a room in the back of the hotel. Was very disappointed in the desk person’s attitude and unwillingness to at least check on the request. Made me feel I was interrupting her.

Staff was nice, they let me check out an hour later. Room - was spacious enough however the shower had a lot of mold/mildew around the caulking. Parking - great: lots of parking. Breakfast - most of the yogurt was expired since the month before. Generally the breakfast was ok but honestly didn’t expect much due to the cost of the room. Would I stay there again - probably not.

Our experience at Comfort Suites Sarasota- Siesta Key was very enjoyable! The breakfast was amazing that was fixed by Yevone. She was very friendly and helpful. The front desk personel Eric was very helpful as well. Keep up the great work you two..... you made our stay spectacular!

The AC directs the air conditioning to the bed that makes it very unconfortable. Hopefully the rooms get upgraded to tile floor instead of carpet. Breakfast is very basic...but convenient. Great staff. Great location.

Communal areas such as the pool and reception were well kept and clean. Breakfast was good although some items of fresh fruit and peanut butter would have been nice. Disappointed that plastic cups and cutlery- would be nice to see more eco friendly items.

The hotel staff tried but it was just too many small things. First, the luggage racks had flat tires. Secondly, there was smell in the hallway when you exited of the elevator. There was no linen for the pull out bed. Poolside was just bugs crawling everywhere. They never came out to clean the patio as the same towels and bottles were on table for three days. A little bug spray around the perimeter of the pool would have been wonderful to help staying out more pleasant. The breakfast was decent, nothing to shout about. I feel like they did not care as we were there in the off season. Still, customer service should remain the same no matter the time of the year.

Worst hotel ever not even a 1 star, breakfast was disappointing , coffee machine was always out of order and the restaurant was never open.

We had people next door to us with a dog and every little noise the dog barked all night long. We specifically asked for top floor hoping it would be quieter. The people below us didn't know how to close the door without letting it slam. This has always been our go to place in Sarasota, but probably won't stay there next time.

The accommodations are actually quite comfortable, but our beds were full of bedbugs. And when I went to the front desk to complain, the receptionist simply said they weren't even that so big.

Staff weren't very welcoming. Hotel was nice and clean but rooms were musty and humid unless fan was low and on continously. Breakfast buffet was sad and food was not good. Overpriced stay in my opinion.

Loved this property. Staff was nice. Property was spacious and clean. Beaches restaurants and activities all within 20 minute drive. And a few places within walking distance as well. Pool was clean and comfortable. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good.

Clean, Comfortable and Easy to access. Check in was fast and easy made very hospitable by the front staff. Elevator was a bit slow but safe. Yvonne, working the breakfast area was just very helpful and delightful. She went out of her way to make sure we had a delicious and filling breakfast, Thanks, Yvonne !

If you have allergies, do not go there.

Clean and very good location, close to everything

Nice property in a great location. Close to the highway and only a few miles away from Siesta Beach. Located next to several dining and entertainment options. Clean property and rooms. Quiet. Friendly staff.

The hotel was a good value. My wife does prefer a higher level hotel so that is on me for picking this one. One item to note for improvement, if possible. The single elevator, serving only three floors, is very slow. The wait time was excessive, in my opinion. The front desk person was friendly.

Property location was difficult to access

Estuvo todo desde el servicio, desayuno área de picnic muy bien diría excelente, pero lo único que desde que llegamos sentimos el ascensor con problemas hasta que dejó de trabajar un día.nos notificaron que tenía problemas por una tormenta eléctrica. No llovió ni cayó ningún rayo ya el ascensor tenía problemas y luego de arreglarlo en la noche aún seguía con lo mismo. Gracias me volvería a quedar.

I think it was fairly clean. Our room had ceiling in bathroom that needed painting. Rug had stains between bed that looked like burn marks. Bathroom needs vent, lots of rust in bathroom mirror was rusty.
