The Capri at Siesta

Capri at Siesta was just like we expected. It was very clean, quiet, and rustic. The beach access was a short walk, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location, which was a 10 minute drive from the village center was fine.

Excellent place, family oriented, very clean, amenities are great, room big staff was super. We are definitely coming back, highly recommend

The location is nice, as they have an access to private beach. Room also clean and have a decent kitchen. Hotel also provided the beach towel, beach chair and umbrella. The staff and the owner also very responsive and helpful. If you like to stay at Siesta Key area and have an access to private beach. I recommended staying at this place.

This was the cutest find. We enjoyed everything about it. Love the location for beach, restaurants and bars. You can walk to it all. Elena was amazing and very helpful.

Great relaxing vacation steps from white sandy beaches.

It was clean and quaint. However, the water pressure in the shower was not the best, as it made it difficult to wash ourselves properly, especially when washing my hair. Another issue was that the pillows were not very comfortable, and the windows in our room were too bright, making it very difficult to sleep. Daylight would break through and wake us up super early in the morning (around 5 a.m.). We even tried to hang some towels to cover the windows and the door.

The toilet backed up, but it was fixed & we were compensated with a partial refund.

We loved everything! It’s a quiet place off of the main roads but conveniently close to all the places you may want to go to, especially the beach!! The rooms are great and very clean. And the staff is so very friendly and helpful if needed. The shared pool is large and sparkling clean with plenty of chairs and loungers. There was never more than a few people there so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. We are so happy that we found this gem of a place. And only steps to the beautiful beach! Can’t think of a thing!

Staff was fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible. We did really like the ability to grab our own toiletres if necessary. Having toclet housekeeping know 24 hours in advance was not ideal but we made it work

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Capri. The accommodations were spotless and the staff was very helpful. We would definitely recommend The Capri and look forward to visiting again!

The facility was very clean. Short walk to the beach, which was convenient. Nearby restaurants also walkable. 1 bedroom was spacious, large enough for two people. AC was delivered by mini splits, which I’m not a fan of. They never shut off and blow down directly on you. Mattress was super soft, not a fan, but that’s personal preference. Beach was very crowded and not much space. If you don’t rent from them you can’t sit it the area they have cordoned off, which is practically to the water line.

This was a great place. So clean and a beautiful terrace to sit and read or eat. Shaded and peaceful. So close to beach and pool. Walkable to places to eat and shop. Washer and dryer access. Ice machine as well. We loved it. We stayed for 5 nights.

Very neat and clean. Kitchen had everything your would need to prepare a meal. The bed was very comfortable. They had beach chairs and umbrellas.

The room was dark and the exterior light was annoying at night while trying to sleep. The room was pretty small; not much room to move around. The bed was also too soft. The best part was the walkability to the beach and the pool access. The location was good as well.

Our room was tired could utilize an uplift but location and price made up for it.

Capri was a great location and it was clean and functional. We got our checkin details ok and we loved the fact you just have a code and no card key or key. Our only issue was that the shower was very low pressure and so it took ages to have a proper shower. Plus there was a slight smell from the drains in the bathroom. But other than that we enjoyed our stay and then we and bedding and towels were all lovely quality. And having a pool and private beach with chairs you can borrow is an added bonus.

The Capri is a quaint little motel type room and is a great value. Access to a private beach and pool within a minute or two is really nice. The room was clean and we had access to coolers, chairs and other beach/pool related items. Overall definitely 5 stars for the money. Looking forward to booking again.

We love the entire apartment! The management was very hospitable, and the beach and pool access was outstanding.

Tolles großes Zimmer mit voll auagestatteter Küche. Wir hätten eher einchecken können, aber es musste noch ein Fenster repariert werden. War dann auch zur offiziellen Check-in-Zeit alles fertig. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Es gab Grills zur Nutzung, toller Außenbereich, Waschmaschinen vorhanden. Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, ist aber im Nachbarhotel vorhanden. Zugang zum Strand war 5 min entfernt. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Suoer nettes Personal. Parkplätze sind mit der jeweiligen Nummer es Apartments versehen und wurde 24h vor check-in per email mitgeteilt ebenso der Zahlencode für das Türschloss.

The owners are amazing! The rooms are so nice, and close to the beach. I’ve stayed 3 times and each time is better than the last!

The room was clean and the location is excellent. The private beach is a 5-10 min. walk away. A lot of great food and shopping options within a 30 min. drive. The staff was very helpful whenever I had a question or concern.

The location is excellent and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The receptionist at check-in was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the room felt outdated, the sink drained very slowly, and the refrigerator was leaking. For the price, I expected a higher overall standard.

We had a wonderful stay right next to Siesta Beach! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the soft white sand and stunning sunsets. The unit was clean and quiet. It has a full size kitchen and a nice bedroom with comfortable bedding. The host, Ellena, was responsive, very helpful, friendly, and kind! We have our own reserved parking and the area felt very safe. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing beach getaway.

Everything was perfect. Perfect location, room, front desk personnel, and close to beach. The room had everything I needed and more. The place was spotless! So clean and cozy. Extra beach towels to use and beach chairs. The path to the beach is so cute and accommodating with a shower to rinse off before coming back to the room. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Also close to stops for the free trolley that takes you to downtown Siesta and Sarasota. Loved this place so much and would love to come back!

This was my second time staying at the Capri. My husband and I love it.

Our stay was fantastic. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Had a full kitchen. Had plenty of towels. Rarely even saw another tenant. The little courtyard was very nice. 3 minute walk to Crescent Beach. Sand was so soft and fine. Water was warm. About 80 degrees. Will definitely stay here again. Loved this little place. Very homey. Thanks Capri!

The Capri is very well appointed with toaster, microwave, stove/oven, and roomy fridge. The bed was comfy. The location is steps from the free trolley that takes you to tge village or all the way into Sarasota for shopping etc. There are also Lennyz Pizza and Captain Curts right across the main street. We watched the OSU game there as it is a backer bar. So fun! Great trip. Highly recommend the Capri. The beach is closer here than Siesta Key main. Great sunsets!

Low key, convenient, resort feel to the hotel and surrounding properties. Pool, location to beach and walkability were definite highlights of our stay. Queen palm 109 is great to for 2 people, bathroom is on the small side. A fairly well kept facility. Really nice stay as we enjoyed our time at the Capri. Thank you

Clean clean walking distance to your own private beach. Restaurants and nearby things trolleys that run constantly up-and-down so you don't have to worry about it, transportation. It's just a really nice place.

THE BEST PLACE

This property is great! A short two minute walk to the beach and one minute walk to the pool! Room was clean and spacious loved it came with beach chairs available to use for the beach. Only con would be the parking situation is a little tight and hard to get out of

A little misleading on beach access. Have to walk down the street to gain access. And only have a 10 foot side by 100 feet of beach access during the day when bigger outfits have chair rentals. Pool is also off site down the lane at a short walk.

The pros were..check in was easy. Room was nice. We stayed in 107. It was comfortable and very clean. It was also very quiet. Cons are no view of beach and shared pool with 3 other resorts so the pool was very crowded. Short walk to beach but a skinny assigned portion of the beach that you shared with the 3 other resorts. Bring your own chairs or you have to pay extra to use theirs. It wasn’t a bad stay but I wouldn’t go back.

The room was spacious cozy updated and clean. The walk to the beach was short. Siesta key village and the surrounding area is awesome. We are definitely going back.

Perfect if your looking for quiet beach stay, no car needed to get to beach, dining, or downtown area . Loved beach towels available and outside area to sit in front of room.

Very quiet loved staying in unit 102. The room was nice very clean & comfortable. The staff was great. They even have some beaches chairs to use and saw some sand toys too. Overall a great relaxing time.

Convenient location-close to restaurants, beach and trolley.

There was a small table nearby, and the shared area had electric grills. Everything was decorated with string lights — it looked very beautiful. It’s close to the beach and not far from everything. There are also free shuttle buses to downtown Sarasota. What I didn’t like was that the pool was shared with several other hotels. There were only two umbrellas for shade, not much greenery, and it was exposed to the scorching sun. There were a lot of children, so it wasn’t really possible to swim or relax.

I loved everything except the TV did not work and after I asked the front desk guy (Clayton) if he could fix it it Never got fixed ! No tv the entire weekend. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work so the steam from the shower did not evacuate the room and just wet the walls and everything in there, other than that it was very nice

We had a great weekend day and would stay again. We might move to something a little closer to the beach but overall it was a great location and the facilities were clean and comfortable. We did like the use of beach chairs, etc.

Only recommendation. -darkness curtain specially windows facing bed. -mattress need attention life time has already passed New one soon.

Very nice property. Our room was a king and had enough room to spread out a bit. The kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed. Housekeeping was easily accessible and helped with anything we needed. Short walk to the beach. Easy walk to the south village and good restaurants and bars.

We booked a last minute trip to Siest Key and the Capri was the perfect home away from home. It had everything we needed and was close to the pool, beach, shops, restaurants, and bars. Our junior suite was clean, comfortable and cute. I will definitely be rebooking to stay here!

The rooms are like tiny apartments around a common area. It was very quaint and part of a larger community which was nice. It was also walkable to fun dinner options. The beach was beautiful and easy to get to.

The staff at The Capri did an awesome job recovering after the hurricanes in 2024. My only issue was the people throwing towels on chairs by the pool as early as 6:00 AM. No way is this the capris fault. Most of the abusers were guests at The tropical resort. I actually saw one trio that placed towels on chairs at 9:00, and when I left the pool area at 1:00, the towels were still “reseving the chairs “, with no guest ever using them. Tropical resort towels. As mentioned, this isn’t the Capris fault, but I’d express concern to tropical resorts management.

What an incredible place!! They were affected by the storms, but put all the work in to make this one of the nicest places we’ve been to in awhile. All the furniture and appliances, stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher were brand new. It was supplied with dishes, all the cookwear and utensils. Parking is a bit tight, but that would be the only issue here. They have a wonderful common area with plenty of seating and a couple grills. About a block and a half from the beach. They also have free use washer and dryers on site. Overall, the perfect place to stay!! Only a few miles from Siesta Key and the village. Five stars for sure!!

Quait property and very clean and pleasant.

Chloe in the reception gave us a warm welcome and graciously helped us when we struggled to operate the digital door lock, which is really straightforward. She also suggested dining options in walking distance. The area around the Capri is still recovering from the hurricane, but miraculously the Capri was intact and quiet. We really appreciated the cleanliness and friendly vibe of this place and would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous 1bedroom! Would love to stay for longer next time! Clean up on Siesta Key is going really well and the beach is perfect! 1 thing to note- the shower door is glass and hits the toilet when opened- small but adorable bathroom.

It was a perfect accommodation for us, with small kitchenette and outside sitting area that we loved to use to have a snack or glass of wine. Also, there is only 3-minute walk to a beautiful private beach.

Definitely will stay again, highly recommend to anyone.

You will be assigned a parking space which is narrow at best. If the person next to your spot isnt straight it is a real problem. You must back out of your spot and then back out of the resort. Dont bring a truck or large SUV..

We arrived late but that wasn't a problem as an envelope was left for me at the office. We had an email for the door code. Everything was perfect apart from the door lock. It was a little confusing to start with but eventually we worked it out.

Loved the property and enjoyed our stay here. I thought it was odd though that even though there is a private beach associated with the Capri you cannot use it unless you rent chairs and umbrella. We went to put our bag down to go for a swim and was rudely challenged by a guy on the beach. A shame really as the place is really nice

Last minute getaway for us and it was more than what we expected! It was truly a home away from home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. The common area has 2 bbqs which was great!! Access to a laundry area, which is a plus if you are staying many days. I will be coming back!

Beautiful landscaping and all the amenities you would need. Pristine beaches, we really enjoyed our stay. Only obstacle we encountered was backing out of the parking lot was very tight and a challenge. However, we would return for a repeat getaway!

Cute, quaint, clean, the only negative is parking was a little tight, had to back out a long way to get out of the lot.

This is our 4th year coming back to the Capri, and we love it. The rooms are perfect for a family of 4 and we love the convenience of the beach and pool in walking distance. It's a great place to park your car when you get there and not have to get back in it until you're going back home. We'll be back next 4th of July weekend!

This place was probably one of the best beach resorts I've been to in a long time. Short walk (4 min) to the beach, easy parking, and accommodations were impeccable. Just perfect. This is now my #1 go-to spot moving forward. Great job!

Staff was very accommodating! We arrived in the morning of our check-in day, they allowed us to park and use facilities provided by the resort. Unexpected, but very nice of them. They even got our room ready early! Easy walk to beach and dining options. Staff was able to give a lot of info on area, transportation,and dining options. Would definitely stay there again!

The girl at the desk was very sweet and helpful. The majority of our unit was well stocked and clean. The shade on the inside of the door was filthy and the rattan chairs outside our room were unraveled. The property isn’t maintained the way it should be. I don’t like to write negative reviews but people need to know this. We paid $400 for the night and got a mediocre stay. Wouldn’t go back.

Condo was perfect, extremely clean, even the comforter! We loved location! Our negatives would be parking is very tight and you have to back out and navigate between the trees on left and cars but worked! It’s not as close to the beach as it states. The beach area for facility not good. The chair rental companies have the good part of beach and you’re VERY limited on space! We were asked to move 2 feet to be in front of a flag! We were not happy with that!! Needs to change!!!

Our room was very nice and clean. The only problem was the sheets for the pull-out sofa bed didn’t fit. They were too short. It was around midnight when we discovered this so it was too late to ask for bigger sheets. Other than that, our room was very comfortable. Thank you!

The place was extremely roomy and very clean. They had everything we could possibly during our stay. Even laundry facilities. It was also very quiet here. We were only steps away from the most gorgeous beach on the gulf coast I have ever been to.

The only complaint was the noise from the condominium nearby. In no way capris fault. I was in room 101. Kind of secluded and quiet. If you want quiet book room 101 or 102. Jemma was very helpful when I was struggling with the tv right before the Super Bowl. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back again next year.

Cute little cottage feel in a smaller setting. Close enough to walk everywhere or take the trolley so the car stayed parked.

We stayed for 1 night, arriving late. Chloe from the office was friendly on the phone and let us know what to do after hours. We had not received an email with instructions. The room was very clean although stuffy. We turned on fans and opened windows. Small but adequate space. The glass topped dining table was the largest piece of furniture other than the queen bed — a little too big for the space. A convertable sofa is tucked in an alcove but no coffee table or ottoman. Did not make use of the small kitchenette. Shower is updated and bathroom is roomy although no counter space.

There was NO utensils to use but a few and had to rewash to use over.

Hidden little gem! Rooms are exactly as pictured, courtyard is beautiful, free ice and laundry (during certain hours of the day). Never made it to their private beach as we were in SK to see friends. Walkable to so many places.
