Great hotel! Super chic, and a 5 star experience!

Overall I always enjoy the Westin (this is my third or fourth stay) and look forward to staying again.

The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend!

Good location, valet and bar staff really friendly and helpful. Look out for additional charges, ended up paying an extra 70 dollars a night in taxes. Also valet parking (which is the only option) is an additional 50 dollars a day. When checking in the receptionist (small lady in glasses) was extremely rude and abrupt and wasn’t much help at all. The valet parking on Sunday morning when checking out was chaos. It took 25 mins to get our car!! Nice hotel, badly run.

Our stay was fantastic! Short but sweet with excellent service, killer views with rooftop pool (that serves bevvies and nibbles while you lounge) and bar, and tasty restaurant that served some of the best lobster Mac I’d ever had. We will be back!

Love the location and the breakfast is excellent. Our mattress sloped toward the headboard so we both woke up with very sore backs.

The food we ordered from room service could have been better cooked. The sweet potatoes were still hard and a bit undercooked and it was to pricey for the amount of food provided.

Starting from the valet along with the entire staff, they were amazing! Maria from the front desk was absolutely exceptional! Tremendous customer service with obvious knowledge!

The shower water went full cold while standing in it, housekeeping was asked to bring more decaf coffee and did not do so, the downstairs lobby bar was closed at nine o'clock on Friday evening - we were looking for an Irish coffee, the valet service is ridiculous at $50 per day, the room itself was very small with only one bathrobe, no sitting room and very poor storage for clothes. All in all, we would never go back to the hotel despite its great location. There are too many other, better, choices. We checked out a day early and went elsewhere.

We love the location, the walks in the morning for breakfast, shuttles to the beach; top notch!! We stayed in a room with a balcony, which we loved, but the furniture was less than appropriate for such a nice stay. Two chairs and a little table; maybe a loveseat or couch could be added? Also, I had to call three times for towels. I’m coming back with my daughter in ten days and looking forward to it.

Being in the hotel business for many years, and after a number of discussions with one of your supervisors, I strongly urge you to than correct your system to one that is comprehensible to your customers. Other than that our stay was very nice and the staff and facilities were 1st Rate.

The hotel is in a great area… and I could tell that it had once been lovely… but it’s showing signs of age: stains, cracks, and water that just doesn’t get hot enough. The room configuration was awkward with not nearly enough storage space. And, while the bed was comfortable, the pillows were lifeless, flat, and floppy…and the comforter much (!!!) too heavy. It was more like a weighted blanket than something for sleeping. I could barely pull it up or down (and I work out 4 days a week… I’m no weakling). The gym was good. The staff was helpful. Sadly though, I’ll check out someplace else next time I’m in Sarasota.

Had to change room, first room air conditioning was not working and the hotel were aware it was not working on the floor but still out is in a room on that floor despite not been fully occupied

The hotel, the staff, both restaurants & food, gym, loved the outdoor patios, & rooftop area. The rides to beach & downtown & pickups were so helpful! All the staff from doormen, drivers, front desk, cleaners, servers, etc. all were very friendly, & went over & above to meet your needs! Well done Westin staff! The food was as good & in some cases better than any food we got at any other high end eateries! All this made us glad we chose to stay here to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! Thanks to all for making this celebration a very pleasant memory!

Hotel was clean and in a great location, and the rooftop pool and bar were a nice amenity. We paid extra through Expedia for a “bay view” room, but the view felt misleading: another building was directly across from our window, and the bay was only visible from a very specific spot in the room. The front desk apologized and said the bay view used to be better before the other building was built, but no alternate rooms were available. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we would not pay extra for the bay view again—we would have preferred a standard room with a better city view and to save the added cost.

May be good for business travel, but our experience suggests it’s not good for leisure travel. Amenities appear designed for, and often exclusively allocated to, business customers. We did essentially nothing in the hotel other than sleep.

The room was excellent in all aspects.We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our only problem was not being able to turn off the AC in our room. My mother was sadly taken ill on the 25th & was admitted to Sarasota Memorial for 36 hrs. I informed reception evening of 25th that our room would be empty that night. I was v disappointed that on our return no one showed any interest in my mother’s welfare. We also checked out of the hotel one day earlier than planned.

The staff at the front was so helpful. The room was immaculate and we were upgraded for our wedding night. The only thing is the ac was broken and the room was so cold. But we were tired from our wedding, so we also didn’t ask about it. We were given a complimentary breakfast, and it was amazing. We will be going back!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and every detail made the stay enjoyable. Parking $50.00 a day!!!! That is insane as the garage is right next door to the hotel and nobody ever told me about this fee till it was to late. Even in NYC it is not $50.00.

On a positive note, breakfast was very good, although the avocado had some bad sections that should have been removed before serving. There is also room for improvement in the common areas. Several ceiling lights in the walkway from the restaurant to the parking lot are out or missing, and broken lights are visible in the planters near the outdoor tables. In addition, some electrical outlets are exposed to water, which could pose a safety concern.

We will come back definitely!!!

Rooms at this property are spacious, service is great and they have a coffee shop serving Starbucks.

This property isn't what I expect from a Westin brand. Their property/resort fees felt outrageous compared to what was being offered, the quality of the building, and overall service. My room was aged and in disrepair. The fixtures in the bathrooms around the property were coming out of the wall, many instances of wear and tear in the rooms, and the parking fees were outlandish.

We loved staying here for the weekend away. Everything was clean, the staff were pleasant and helpful! Loved the breakfast and roof top bar. You can valley your car, they have shuttle to the beach etc. you can walk to the local restaurants and bars

This is a valet only type of downtown hotel that offers a rooftop pool for a quick dip or fabulous sunset views. The whole hotel and the rooms are clean and well cared for. The staff anticipated your every need and the food from the rooftop bar to the on-site restaurant is top notch. An incredible deal to stay in the middle of all the action in downtown Sarasota.

Centrally located, shares the drive with the Ritz Carlton. Large rooms, comfortable with large bathrooms and floor to ceiling windows. Roof top pool area has potential but no character. Service is friendly and professional. Restaurant fare is forgettable. Valet parking is convenient and efficient.

Had a good stay here— rooms could stand to be deep cleaned and updated, they felt quite stale and dated. For the price, you could easily find a hotel with more modern amenities. The major bonus here was the rooftop pool and bar with amazing views.

We enjoyed this hotel and love Downtown Sarasota. If you’ll have a car, parking is Valet only at $50/nt. Couple this with $100 for breakfast and the very reasonable rate becomes less reasonable. The beds are wildly comfortable and the rooftop pool was very nice. Go to Project Coffee.

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the marina and many great restaurants, plus only a quick drive to Siesta Key and Bradenton Beach, both incredible spots for enjoying the Gulf Coast. The staff was consistently helpful and welcoming, making our stay even better. Overall, this is a true luxury hotel experience in Sarasota. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel was top tier! Smells amazing, room was spotless, food at the restaurant and roof top bar was phenomenal. Advertised heated pool was not heated though and valet parking rate is beyond steep.

Staff was excellent. Comfortable room with great views. Good Breakfast with plenty of options. The only bad thing is that they make you wait every day to assigned you a table at the restaurant even when there are empty tables!

It was a really unique building, very beautiful design all throughout. Our room was wonderful and very clean everyday. Our only complaint was with the parking situation. It was very expensive to park at the property and we felt ill informed about the parking situation in the area.

Wonderful Hotel! Nice location (if you fly in with out a rental…Breeze76 bus can drop you off right at hotel for $2…short minute walk to check-in desk…room was perfect! Looked and smell clean. Nice view with balcony. Big enough for us two with a table and two chairs. But not for walking around. Short rideshare to downtown Sarasota and shops.

The hostess was talking to a guy about music while we waited to check inn he took forever until I asked him if there was someone else to check inn so he said he is by him self and to wait he continued to talk about music nothing related to the check inn so rude

I would not stay in a downtown hotel in Sarasota again. There was really nothing to do. Of course Lido Beach and St Armand’s Circle were near but not within walking distance. I would have liked to get up in the morning and walk somewhere. I also didn’t like paying $50/day parking but there was no choice. Downtown is congested with traffic. I also didn’t like not even getting a free cup of morning coffee.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers a spectacular pool with a bar boasting stunning views. The à la carte breakfast was delicious and served with great care, and our room was always stocked with fresh, clean towels daily. Parking is valet only, and it is $50 per night (not $40 as stated on the Expedia listing). What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality—especially from María Henderson, whose warm welcome and attention to detail made us feel at home from day one. This hotel is a true gem and we highly recommend it.

Easy to navigate and hotel takes you to Lido beach where you can rent chairs/umbrellas and have access to food. You can Uber to Siesta beach and order drinks and food from your chair at the beach. I love that!

The staff from the valet parking, check-in and daily housekeeping were kind and helpful.

The rate for parking at the hotel was $50 a day, not the $40 advertised on your website. Also there was a $22 daily "destination amenity fee" that was not listed on your site as well. I asked what the fee included and was told for the coffee in you room and water in the lobby. Motel six has the same amenities and they don't charge. Also, every time I picked up my car the seat was all the way forward and raised up. I couldn't even get into my own car.

Expensive hotel and poor customer service in all my stay, since the room I found dirty wipes in the floor, marijuana smelling in the balcony even that we be in 14th floor, screen TV it was out the Friday night, the bottles in the bath shower came out and takes more than 1 hour to fixed, the very worst experience was in valet parking service, never the text message wotk during our stay, si pretty much I will never bee there again.

The breakfast was incredible and the staff were awesome! The sidewalk door was not working at night and we had to walk all the way around the building, but it was fixed the next morning.

Valet parking the entrance to the lobby. The cars is jammed up no order in dropping off. Cars are picking up cars. It was absolutely a nightmare.

The staff at the front desk and at the pool were very pleasant and attentive. Parking Was expensive in my opinion, but the guys and girls would run around and get your car when you needed. Valet only. No microwave to heat anything up even though it’s always hot in Florida.

Beautiful Hotel and of course their "heavenly bed" was as comfortable as they advertised. Minutes from the airport and centrally located to St. Armands Circle which features boutique shopping and wonderful dining options which offer both indoor and outdoor dining options.

I absolutely love this property but I was disappointed at check out. There were so many random fees added to my bill that should already be implemented into the total price upon booking it. I like to know upfront what my overall cost will be thats how I make my decisions on where id like to stay. I wont be back for a while but if I do decide to choose this property again I will have to book over the phone and have them go over all details with me ahead of time.

I absolutely had the greatest time staying here at the Westin Sarasota! From the time I walked in the hotel to the night at the bar in the lobby to go on the free shuttle it’s absolutely been the best time. I recommend anybody to come back and stay at this particular property. The front staff was amazing, especially Valeria Garcia, Nikki, Glenn family, and George at the bar. Everybody was absolutely fabulous will be back again.

The property is in a great location, easy access to the Marina and surroundings. Only element I did not like was their breakfast... very plain. I had to go out to breakfast given their limited menu both days.

From the valet team to María and Valeria at the front desk, and the rooftop bartenders — amazing service all around! It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a bit of a party. Breakfast with Richard and drinks with Jack at the rooftop were a highlight. This is a great place to unwind and soak in the Sarasota weather. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time.

Beautiful property! We had a great stay. It felt very clean, & staff were very accommodating to our needs & requests. The only thing is that no where on the site does it list that they will charge $50 overnight for parking. This would have been nice to know prior as we probably wouldn’t have rented a car, and Uber-Ed everywhere instead. However for future guests that are capable of walking; we found a parking garage that was within walking distance & only $1/an hour .. make sure you check it out

Everything was good, but it could be better and dining options was not good and rooftop bar was OK. Drinks were not that good food was OK and it was not out of the world feeling. And pool was very average

"Cleaning" the rooms meant pulling the bedspread up on the bed and just leaving towels - the bathrooms were only cleaned once in 4 days despite leaving tips for housekeepers and telling supervisors about the issues. Room service was accurate and quick - and the best service in the hotel.
