Reviews
The Inn at Saratoga is a beautiful and quiet hotel with a great location, close to restaurants, shops, and the Mountain Winery. Guests particularly enjoy the rooms with balconies overlooking the creek. However, some guests have experienced issues with noise, cleanliness, and unfriendly staff.

I love being by the creek but didn’t like not being able to see it.

Great staff
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, it was exactly what we needed, and we would gladly stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff has always been courteous and welcoming as well. The room was beautiful with soft colors and looked out to trees and a babbling brook, lovely to wake up to. Parking is easy- and there is a (paid) shuttle to Mountain Winery available. Restaurants and shops are all walkable
- 4/5
The Inn at Saratoga is an easy stay: clean, comfortable and central in the area.
- 4/5
Everything perfectly
- 3.5/5
I loved it’s location by a creek! The sound of water is so incredibly soothing The elevator was old covered with finger/hand prints. Not sure if they are permanent marks or just lack of attention from cleaning crew. The first room I checked into had extremely strong detergent smell, I had to request a different room. As someone sensitive to smell, their lobby/check in area was full of food prep smell. Almost as if the kitchen didn’t have exhaust fans to neutralize cooking scent. Not the kind of hotel welcome I was expecting at this price
- 5/5
Great parking and friendly staff
- 2/5
Air conditioning didn’t work. Offered to move us after the second night but we were already settled in our room. Had to ask for housekeeping service multiple times, but they were not detail oriented so I had to ask them to fill lotion bottle. Said they would waive the parking fee at checkout but my card has been charged twice so I’ve had to keep calling them to reverse the charge. Would absolutely never stay here again. Friendly people but not worth the money whatsoever.
- 5/5
We had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. We traveled with two of our kids and they loved the room. We had a balcony and view of the creek. It’s quiet and in a very great spot close to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly I had a towel that had hair in it when I unwrapped it
- 5/5
This place is beautifully decorated, and the view of the creek is lovely and peaceful. The Staff are super friendly and my absolute favorite was Sarah the bartender who made the best cocktails! I will only stay here when I come in the area.
- 5/5
Room was spacious. Nice generous bathroom. Staff is extremely helpful
- 5/5
We love it
- 5/5
The only negative about this property was they had no availble EV chargers. There were six stations, but they were all broken. Weird. Besides that, The room was spacious and faced a flowing creek. The ambient noise made for a peaceful evening.
- 5/5
Clean updated room. Comfy bed with quality sheets. Lovely hotel. Great service. Javier, at the front desk, gave us a warm welcome, and was very professional and helpful.
- 5/5
Always love the park views

The restaurant / bar hostess on Sun Dec 28 was an absolute delight! Breakfast was good. The coffee at breakfast was quite poor!
- 4.5/5
everything was great! However, we missed out on dinning at the bar and eating at the hotel. it was closed during our visit which forced us to find alternate arrangements. i would stay again! see above

The rooms and facilities were clean, very comfortable and spacious. The staff were super helpful and went out of their way for us as well as we’re happy and kind! Free breakfast for the price would have been nice
- 4/5
The room was a nice size and clean. The staff were courteous and very helpful. The only downside is the lack of room service. The free breakfast is really just cereal.
- 3/5
the staff is really nice. the room wasnt clean. the fridge had food in it. i ran out of toilet paper and tissues. the room was cleaned twice after running out of both of these things. you may need to find better help. in addition, the last day i had a sign that said do not disturb. they came in anyhow. made the bed but left no toilet paper or tissues....
- 5/5
We didn’t have breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay
- 5/5
Clean, beautiful rooms and location
- 4/5
They charge for parking per night. Should be included in the price. Hotel could use little up grading.
- 5/5
The inn is nicely located in a quiet area. My room overlooks the beautiful trees. It is very spacious with nice amenties. Looking forward to my next stay and explore more of the area.
- 5/5
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and conveniently located. One suggestion would be to add an additional disabled parking spot.
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived, Javier made us feel right at home and everything from there continued to be excellent in all areas. The entire staff is extremely courteous, the food was tasty, and our room with the creek and park view was spectacular. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay near Saratoga.
- 1/5
We could hear even normal levels of conversation in the next room like the people were right in our room with us. One night there was just thumping base coming right through the walls. There was a giant gap under the door bringing in noise and light from the hallway all night. We had to roll up a towel and block the gap. You're better off staying at a motel6.
- 5/5
Clean room, Pleasant staff, Great location
- 5/5
Staff is always helpful and I appreciate the opportunity to text chat with any questions I may have during my stay.

Very nice and clean place. Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Great updates.
- 5/5
Very nice property, very relaxing
- 4/5
Balcony was nice
- 5/5
Very clean, beautiful property. We stayed here on an anniversary trip to see a concert in the area. Would definitely stay again! My only complaint is that our room wasn't ready on time, and they didn't have a bartended on staff for another few hours. I'd suggest they train their front desk staff to serve beer and wine only during these times - they could make some extra money that way!
- 5/5
Beautiful spacious room. I loved that the bathroom had two sink areas, the little balcony was really sweet too.
- 5/5
Location Price
- 5/5
We have stayed here several times and always get a room with a balcony and stream view--very pretty and relaxing. Within walking distance of downtown Saratoga and nearby restaurants if you choose to venture out. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely would go back next time we're in that area,
- 5/5
Beautiful and quiet-perfect location and serene vibes. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Welcoming, fun Happy Hour at an inviting creek side setting. Attentive staff that were great about suggesting local activities and dining. The windows and balcony setting was extra special.

Enjoyed the property despite limited parking.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Saratoga. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and set in such a peaceful location, just minutes from the redwoods. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their warmth truly made the experience special. Everything about the property was spotless and well cared for, from the rooms to the common areas. It was the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and nature. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to return.
- 2/5
They had no record of my reservation and I could not contact anyone at Hotels.com to help me. What in the hell happened?
- 5/5
Great place to stay if going to Mountain Winery concert! Close, convenient. Plenty of restaurants close by.
- 5/5
The Inn was wonderful. We took a shuttle up to Mountain Winery for a concert. Restaurants are within walking distance.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Saratoga. Loved our stay. Rooms spacious, service perfect and nice breakfast/bar area for quick bite or cocktail time. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Gorgeous, quiet and comfortable. This place was outstanding. Will absolutely return.
- 5/5
Quick overnight stay for show but wish I could have stayed longer.
- 5/5
Location and comfort of the room. Lovely balcony with creek running nearby. That we are only staying for one night
- 0.5/5
Location The noise we were in 209 next to the equipment for the hotel and our room was noisy. We went down at 1:30am to ask if we could change rooms and couldn’t because it was all booked up so we got no sleep that night. We have stayed there multiple times and if was good and this time was terrible and nothingg was done about it we will not stay there again.
- 4/5
The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice quiet property with great patio and sound of a small river behind the property.
- 4/5

- 5/5
The hotel has a comfortable feel about the place. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable beds. Able to walk to shops and restaurants. The in-house restaurant is good as well. Free parking is a plus too. Nothing
- 4/5
Our rooms were not ready when we arrived at 3pm.
- 5/5
Definitely would come back.
- 5/5
Beautiful! Classic architecture. Comfy rooms. Great friendly staff!
- 5/5
Only complaint: my coffee maker didn’t work. A staff member quickly helped!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. We stay here every time we go to the Mountain Winery.
- 5/5
The bed is/was extremely hard. Very uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Took 5 min for the hot water in shower
- 4.5/5
large room, lots of space the small balcony and views were great an ice bucket/container in the room would have been nice
- 5/5
We love this place is our second time staying here and we highly recommend. We will be back for sure. So charming and romantic.
- 5/5
Great place near a nice park with small water fall
- 5/5
The location is absolutely beautiful. There is a creek near it with lots of trees and even a community park nearby. You can walk to the main street where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. It is a short ride into the lovely Los Gatos and San Jose.
- 5/5
It was a lovely place to be.
- 5/5
Rooms are great

Great Hotel. Great space. Good breakfast.
- 4/5
The location, rooms and staff were all good. The dining options at the hotel were not very good. Fortunately the area had several restaurants within a couple blocks that we quite good.
- 5/5
Loved this place. It was clean and the room was large.
- 5/5
One of my favorite hotels in a small town and close to the Mountain Winery
- 5/5
Beautiful property, nice rooms.
- 5/5
Very quiet and clean location. Employees were very helpful.
- 5/5
Beautiful view overlooking the calming creek
- 5/5
Great place to stay! We had concert tickets at Mountain Winery, easy location and parking and felt very safe. Like having to use your keys to ride the elevator.
- 5/5
Wonderful amazing serene location.
- 5/5
Beautiful property! Nice deck with creek behind it! Close to restaurants and shops!
- 5/5

Many thanks to the accommodating front desk staff, Arya, Eugene, and the other lovely woman whose name I did not get, for making our short stay very comfortable and enjoyable :)
- 5/5
Stay was a one night stay due to the experience we would definitely be back. Customer service was welcoming and service was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Everyone is nice and very friendly.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and fully renovated
- 5/5
We booked this place for a recent concert at the nearby Mountain Winery. Glad we did because this property is very nice! Check in was quick and easy and the room was nice and clean with a patio overlooking a nice creek area. There was also a nice bar area where you can have a drink and just relax. This will be our place from now on when we come to the Mountain Winery.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Had a great time for happy hour at the hotel
- 5/5
We stayed in the 4th floor. We had a private balcony and our view overlooked a stream and beautiful wilderness. The 4th floor has a direct exit to the main st of Saratoga. Super friendly staff.
- 5/5
Love everything about this hotel. Immaculately clean, friendly staff, beautiful property and walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, bars and cute shops. 15 min drive from The Mountain Winery. Will continue to come back to this property.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel!
- 5/5
This is such a charming property. We always stay here when we go to a concert at The Mountain Winery. It is right next to a creek and we leave the door open to hear it at night. The rooms are very spacious.
- 5/5
Beautiful clean hotel! And super comfy bed!
- 2/5
2- We reserved two rooms, the first had a smell, and the AC doesn’t work, the hallway has a smell, and they keep the bathroom doors in the hallway opened all the time, not sure why if the locks are broken, but this practice is unhealthy. The 2nd room has a couple of steps of a stairs, old, smelly, hot water takes forever to warm, mattress are old and worn out. We asked to be moved, unfriendly staff denied us, until we insisted, and until the next day about 5:00 pm! 3- Cleaning crew and staff take the regular elevator with their tools and carts, causing delays, as it seems it’s the only elevator, so many guests have to take the stairs due to the long delay. 4- My son was lured into thinking that the breakfast is free! 4- You are not allowed to stay on the patio after 9:00 pm, and in the lounge area after 10:00 pm. 5- Lounge area is too small! It can’t accommodate more than 4 people! 6- no info or printouts about attractions in the area.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and right downtown Saratoga. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
- 5/5
The Inn was a great place, close to restaurants and the Wildwood park. The best part is sitting on the balcony listening to the creek. Close to Mountain Winery for concerts, great venue!
- 5/5
Beautiful setting. Quiet and clean
- 5/5
Get the rooms with the balconies. On the other side of the hotel, you will be awoken between 4:30 and 5:00 every morning by a street sweeper or garbage truck.
- 4/5
Breakfast was horrendous
- 5/5
Beautiful inn right in the heart of downtown Saratoga.
- 5/5
We loved this place! Beautiful, nestled right next to the river. Wonderful stay.
- 3/5
Paid for a room with a balcony but did not get a room with a balcony. Tub had some gunk oozing from it. Body wash in shower was pumping out soap with rusted bits in it bc the dispenser was rusted.
- 5/5
What a quaint hotel, with comfortable beds, beautiful decor and serene surroundings. This is now our hotel of choice anytime we are needing accommodations in the area. We loved our stay.
- 5/5
Nice staff, pleasant.
- 5/5
Easy to find. Very nice rooms. Our room had a balcony and we could hear the creek outside. Staff was excellent
- 4/5
The room was very large and clean. The bathroom was lovely. I paid extra for a balcony and it was misleading because it had only one chair so my husband and I couldn’t enjoy it together. Definitely not worth what i paid for that upgrade.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem!
- 5/5
The location is perfect for a weekend in Saratoga near restaurants and shopping. Room had a nice balcony view of the creek and was very spacious
- 3/5
Thank you Melle.
- 5/5
JUst an amazing hotel, beautiful area, very clean, 10/10
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Gorgeous view of the creek from our room and we could hear the water while in bed. Good drinks downstairs for happy hour. Would stay again
- 5/5
I had a really lovely stay. The balcony overlooking the creek was idyllic and i was very happy and comfortable.
- 4/5
Staff great, no real food service available except do it yourself zero stars breakfast. Contorted first floor entrance and confused access to a second entrance that could only be used as an exit - lyft and uber drivers always appeared at wrong entrance.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Beautiful view on the balcony.
- 5/5
Lovely room, nice location, friendly staff. And a reasonable price. There’s a bar and deck and breakfast area- none of which we used but it looks pretty. Room was beautiful- spacious and well appointed, great beds. Loved the little balcony over a creek.
- 5/5
What a great place to stay, lol of food options around the area
- 5/5
Great little property right in downtown Saratoga! Will return soon!
- 5/5
Beautiful property and view. Luxury.
- 5/5
The room was lovely, clean, and well-appointed. The balcony and windows overlooked a lovely wooded area with a creek. Very serene. Nice to have coffee on the balcony with that charming view. I requested additional towels, wine glasses and coffee at the front desk and the service was very prompt. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Overall such a wonderful experience! I’ve been traveling a lot for work and this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at this summer. Would definitely come back
- 5/5
Room was very nice, no complaints at all. Parking was easy. Was in town for a concert at Mountain Winery.
- 5/5
It’s the only place to stay in Saratoga, and even still, they take good care of their guests. I’m pretty sure when I stayed there (on a Tuesday), I was one of many people attending a concert at The Mountain Winery. The location was cute, conveniently located, and there was free parking. I also love the 4th floor walkway that leads right to downtown Saratoga. The staff were friendly. My room was ready early. It was clean, and it had a lovely view of the trees and creek. It was quiet. The staff were friendly. My only wish is that they do better with respect to breakfast. The $21 “buffet” was basically just fruit, bagels, and cold cuts. Disappointing.
- 5/5
Beautiful, loved it! Beautiful view of the stream. Great having 2 bathroom sink areas! Definitely will stay there again!
- 1/5
The location was nice next to restaurants and a park. We were given the worst room there. It was the ADA room next to the reception and elevator. Very noisy! We requested to change and they said they were sold out for both nights which seemed like a lie based on the lack of people around.
- 5/5
Really nice place, beautiful rooms, creek along the property. Perfect place to stay after a concert at Mountain Winery. Downtown Saratoga is super cute.
- 4/5
A beautiful setting and hotel... And I kind of expected more. Room was very nice and loved the veranda area and the staff did have a quiet room as we had requested. We had issues with the AC, which was putting out warm air in the evening. I'm not a techy so it could have just been a setting issue; the staff didn't know how to control the settings either and there was no others on staff who could take a look at it. They did kindly bring us in a small room fan.
- 5/5
$21 for buffet but not worth it so we’ve ordered an avocado toast & a breakfast croissant sandwich which were not good & $8 each. There was no eggs just avocados on a piece toast & a small size croissant(not regular crescent like) with fried egg & tiny Brie cheese slices were not enough for anyone so we ended up getting breakfast sandwich from a cafe near by called big basin cafe & it was very good. The hotel server Mexican lady was very sweet but it was total waste of our time when I was trying to make my daughter get ready for her golf tournament. The room had a nice view with balcony & lovely amenities. Front desk guys were friendly but a lady in the morning seemed snobbish. They don’t have a bell boy so you have to use their cart to move luggages. At least no one offered a help to us. I’ve been to many 5stars hotels but it’s the people working there makes the difference. Holding the door when we bring in the cart full of stuffs like that would have been a nice gesture or say good morning in the morning first. Only a guy working in the morning was friendly & I didn’t feel that from the other 2. Bummer.
- 5/5
The Inn and its staff are incredible! It’s a beautiful, calming property with trees and a creek that runs along side that we enjoyed from our balcony every morning while drinking coffee.
- 5/5
The hotel was comfortable and luxurious. Great climate control, wonderful bed and fancy bathrooms. The side patio was lovely.
- 5/5
We would have liked a full service restaurant and room service.
- 5/5
Great stay! The room was beautiful! We had a king room with balcony overlooking the creek. Spacious room, comfortable beds, great bathroom! There was an extra sink outside the bathroom that was a nice perk. Staff was nice! Location was great for our plans in Los Gatos and hiking Big Basin.
- 5/5
Great hotel and staff!
- 5/5
everything was great. the room is soooo nice!
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Loved our stay here ! View was great! Loved the restaurants nearby that are all walking distance. Hotel and everything was well maintained. The only complaint I had was the loud noise coming from a nearby park. There were people playing volley ball for a few hours on our first day but second day no noise .
