Clean room, staff was nice,

The hotel shower handle wasn't attached. There was rust on the shower head. The floors in the hallway were stained and sunkin in shops the elevator floor was cracked ceiling falling in. Pool was shut down by health department. There was a bug on the pillows. And front desk was rude. She stated that only four humans per room when I paid for 6 adults and only four adults and one child stayed. The beds were stained.

I traveled to Savannah and stayed here for my daughter’s engagement party and as a woman traveling alone, the property itself felt safe. The hotel is clean overall, but dated. Lots of peeling wallpaper and a little shabby, but it served my purpose.

Pool was closed the morning after we checked in by HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Gross!!! Breakfast was very limited and food was nasty. We moved hotels immediately. Don’t stay here!!!

From the first moments you walk in the air was off and up to over 80+degrees in the lobby and hallways. The first room that I was placed in smelled of fresh smoked maijuana, and we refused that room. So we were given another room where after further observation there had been some sort of party recently because there were balloon pieces on the floor and were visible upon entering the room, stains are all over the floor and my son could not sleep on the pull out couch due to trash and stains l over it. The shower curtain on one side was being kept up by a single screw that was falling out the wall, mildew, hair, and rusted over attachments were in the bathroom. On the tabletop where you can plug in a phone was broken and we did not use for fear of being shocked the table also had black smudges on it. I went downstairs and wanted a refund so I could go to another cleaner hotel, I was refused and after asking to speak to a manager never did they get him. I don't have money to burn so I had to go and purchase both Clorax, cleaning wipes, and Lysol and clean my room myself. The OUTSIDE was terrible crushed beer cans, trash around the chairs and the inside pool, my son nor his friends could use the pool it had a terrible smell and film. We were there for a tournament with about 15 other couples with children One couple had to leave due to bedbugs! WE ALL had a terrible experience in the beautiful Savannah. I would greatly appreciate a total refund, Thank You

Hallway ac units read 82 degrees. Lobby smelly and hot. Door to room would not lock from the inside so had to use latch to feel comfortable. Noisy neighbors in room next door. Pool was very cloudy and looked like a party was had with no clean up. Pizza boxes and cans and trash all over floor near pool area. Bug with wings flew on bed. The smell of weed was strong even a friend that had a room booked there had to change rooms bc of the weed. Very disappointed.

It was such a disappointment to get the feedback from my husband and son’s stay at your hotel. They were supposed to be able to enjoy the pool, but it smelled so bad they didn’t feel it was a safe environment. The air conditioner leaked onto the carpet and they had blow dry it. This was a group trip for a tournament, but the kids didn’t get to enjoy your amenities because they we either nasty or broken. My family at least had air but the room needed to be swapped but they didn’t do so because they were concerned the situation may get worse for them. We are requesting a refund.

This stay was horrible, the rooms were dirty, we went with a large group. Housekeeping did not even clean our room, there was trash in the room on the floor when we first walked in, pop corn under the bed and AC. Lobby was so hot you could not stand enjoying, indoor swimming pool had a film over the top of it and was cloudy! Carpet in room and hallways looked like they have not been clean in atleast a year.

The front desk staff was rude from the start. No A/C in the room for 2 days. Hall thermostat read 80+ degrees. Room thermostat didn’t work. Walls peeling and dirty, stains on furniture and bedding, soap scum and mold in shower and shower door broken. Beer cans and food all over the pool deck. Stains in hall flooring and floor was sinking. Friends a few doors down woke to bed bugs biting them. My son walked to the car and a woman on the first floor was locked in her room and could not get out of the room. Had to be rescued. This place is a dump and the owners could care less. If you stay here, good luck!

Pool had frogs in it. Had to change rooms three times. First time, there were roaches in the first floor room. First second floor room had a huge ac leak. So water everywhere.Second, second floor room was alright. Apparently you can’t get towels because they don’t do laundry everyday.

Now onto the hotel. I'm not sure how this hotel got the rating it currently has, as I wouldn't even call this a two star hotel. First the rooms are dismal. There was literal wallpaper peeling in both the main room and the bathroom. The shower has all the water pressure of a dollar store squirt gun, and the shower door wouldn't actually shut all the way, sliding open whenever you tried to close it. There was always a pretty terrible spider infestation throughout.

The staff were friendly. The cleanliness of the carpets in the hallways and the room left a lot to be desired. Left us with the feeling that nothing had bed cleaned except possibly the bed sheets. Not sure I’d recommend it to others. The cheaper price per night explained the lack of upkeep.

The staff was really friendly and the hotel was good for what was paid for, however i sleep in the cold, and the ac started blowing hot air halfway through the night. No matter what i set the thermostat at. i woke up downing water bottles and drowning in sweat, but its not near as bad as a crack motel and didn’t have bugs so i’m happy enough.

Kitchen area there was a sink where refrigerator was. Clean spacious. It was a nice room would like to go back if I get a discount.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but it was really outdated and run-down. It seemed to be a two-star.

My family visited Savannah for the first time and have stayed at Country Inn Suites before, however the upkeep and cleanliness of this hotel was awful. Our shower curtain had vomit still on it from whoever stayed there last, and the pool had large clumps of hair floating throughout. When I complained to the front desk, no one came to clean the pool, so I cleaned the entire thing myself but left the hair in the net for the staff to dispose of. The next morning, the hair was still there, after the front desk told me they’d have it cleaned up. We were only met with apologies and no manager was on site the entire time. I sent an email to their staff/customer service, and still have not heard back. The room was also not the best, but the hairy pool and crusted shower curtain was enough for us to not book with them again.

This day wasn’t the worst, but I won’t be staying at another one of these hotels. There were burn marks all over the carpet, the shower door was rusted in places, and it could’ve been cleaned much more thoroughly. And I also saw two cockroaches in my room. One crawled from under the fridge area and another one was crawling on the nightstand table by the front door. That was very disappointing. After I saw that I got very uncomfortable, packed up all my things tightly, left all the lights on before I fell asleep. I was ready to check out when it was time. The lobby area was clean, the parking lot was clean and safe. The bed was clean. But that’s about it. Room 313 👎

Where it is. I have stayed here several times and all was nice . Price was fair. The price was over doubled. There was trash in the room. Staff was rude. No hair dryer i asked for one and she said you dont have one and still didnt provide one. I asked for extra bedding for couch and you would have thought i asked for blood. We have alwags stayed here when visting our granddaughter at school. We will be looking for a new place.

The high reviews are either fake or over inflated. The entire hotel is filthy, the hallways have holes under the carpet that you can feel while walking and stains EVERYWHERE. The room was no better, layers of what looks like grease, oil, body liquids, and dirt on the walls, stains on all the furniture and fabrics, carpet held in place by staples that are sticking out and can cut you. My 6 year old even found a partially empty bottle of Jack Daniel's in the pull out couch. Not only will I never be using this hotel again, I'd never recommend it to anyone and honestly I'd suggest it get a thorough inspection. I've stayed at a LOT of hotels all over the country, this was by far the worst.

They have a pool but I wouldn’t be worried about going into it, walking by the pool, we saw a hairball next to the pool. That tells me that they don’t clean anything well. The breakfast was absolutely horrible (I was told). I will never stay at a country inn again in my life this experience was that bad.

Great variety! Rooms could be cleaner! Lightswitches were filthy and some of the walls around the doors. Our lock did not work.

The location was great, check in was a quick and simple. The pillows are extremely soft. We had a pullout bed but no linens, sheets, blankets or anything for it in the closet.

The property was in a good location right off the highway and next to many stores and restaurants Dirty! We had to go to Walmart for cleaning products and Declan the room. We took pictures of the dirt and trash left from previous stays. The room was advertised as double queens and the beds were fulls+. There were stains on the pull out bed, walls,and carpet. When asked for gloves to clean we were questioned and had to be stern to get them. If there weren’t a big event filling up surrounded hotels and hiking their prices, we would’ve left honestly. Big disappointment while visiting my daughter’s college initial walkthrough.

Very affordable. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff at front desk made check-in quick and easy. Fantastic service, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had with a large variety to choose from.

There were issues with cleanliness. The morning I left I got a jump scare by a baby (nymph) German cockroach crawling in the bed on the pillow. The presence of nymphs means they are breeding and the property has an active infestation. There was an adult one in the shower. They badly need pest control and I let the front desk know. The bed itself and linens and towels looked clean on first check of the room. However, on closer look it seems housekeeping cut corners. For example the microwave had smudged fingerprints and looked dirty on the outside. Bathroom looked clean but smelled funny. AC worked. I did not use the facilities. Elevator was undergoing maintenance so used the stairs. Stairway looked kind of dark and dirty with stained carpets. I didn't use the facilities or eat breakfast so I can't comment on those. Biggest problem was the bugs, completely grossed out and will not be back.

The do not have Queen beds, despite all advertising saying they did. When I brought this up with management, they said they only have doubles and didn’t seem to care that their website says otherwise. We also couldn’t have anyone sleep on the floor because there were little beetles crawling around. Carpet had a tear that was duct taped together. The bed light switch was hanging out by its wires.

Breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special. It’s the usual hotel spread, very average and nothing to look forward to. We arrived late around 11 pm, and the check-in experience wasn’t great. The only person who greeted us was someone who appeared to be a tradesman. The owners were present but just stared, and the front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge or welcome us. It left a pretty poor first impression.

I would stay again, but with the realization that the pictures make the place look way more upscale than it is.

Older hotel but it was clean and slept well in the beds! Breakfast was good! A small drive to downtown Savannah and we didn’t want to spend the downtown hotel prices!

The hotel appeared to be very clean. It smells so good throughout the facility. The hotel clerk was very nice and welcoming. The only thing I didn’t like was the roaches I witnessed. When I woke up the next morning I witnessed a few roaches on the desk across from the coffee table! I was highly disgusted and disappointed! I had to shake out everything I owned to make sure none were going with me! The facility didn’t give roaches or filth so that shocked me. I notified the clerk!

The front desk attendant was decent. First thing we noticed were numerous doors on the first floor appeared to be damaged as if break-ins had occurred. The room itself was loud with the smoke smell and the walls were visibly dirty. As I walked past the couch, it was stained and had crust all over it. I walked into the bathroom and noticed the counter tops had pink stains. Going towards the toilet was just blatant filth — there was pee splashed on the floor and the toilet was stained with black mold. I let the front desk know I could not stay there due to the filth and the smoke smell — I have an allergy. She took a screenshot of my pictures of the room and requested I go through the third party I booked with in order to get a refund. Called Patricia at booking.com and she reached out to the property manager Paul who denied the filthy condition of the room, despite numerous pictures. While I appreciate booking.com for refunding my money, it’s absolutely fowl that the property denied the claims in an attempt to keep my money. I’ve never been more fooled by high ratings. I DO NOT recommend this property.

NOTHING. Do not book if you are looking for a family-friendly hotel. This was our first time visiting Savannah. The location of this hotel wasn’t ideal- We knew it would be about a 20 minute drive into the historic district, but, that didn’t bother us as we were only here for a few days. Soon we realized that we made a HUGE MISTAKE. The property was incredibly dirty; stepping off of the elevator onto our floor and you were hit with a musty smell, and it was worse in our room. (Also we noticed almost every other door looked like it had been kicked it at some point- should have been our cue to run.) The room itself was outdated and did not look like it was cleaned thoroughly. The shower still had soap scum streaks running down the walls and rusty water stains everywhere. But, that’s not the worst of it: We woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of someone jiggling our doorknob, along with knocking and voices in the hallway. Were they trying our door? No idea. All we knew was that, between the dirtiness of the room and then waking up to that, we were out of there. We did NOT feel safe. The next morning we booked a new hotel and decided to splurge and stay in the historic district. CHEAPER IS NEVER BETTER. See above- horrible experience. I wish I thought to take photos of the room, but, we were just focused on getting out of there. I did manage to snap a picture of the phone- looks pretty normal, right?!

The breakfast was okayy. Not amazing but it had alot of options. Our bathroom had what looked like mold on the ceiling. Also, lots of unknown stains on the carpet...ew. AND the stairwell going up to the 3rd floor was also gross. One of the suite doors on the 3rd floor looked like it was broken into by a large object. Or like the staff needed to break the door down to get into the room? I dont know, but it was like something out of a horror movie... made me feel unsafe in my own room.

The food was fresh and tasty, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place to others

Room was spotless and staff was nice. Only down fall is that they did not have towels for the pool and was told to use room towels. When I asked for room towels, I was told they were out. Other than that, stay was great!

I was double charged for my stay but no one knows how it happen or how long it’ll take for me to get a refund. The bathtub was filthy and the door knob was broken.

Floor in room was not vacuumed and dirty, carpet had large stains, only 2 sets of towels in the room and difficult to get staff to bring extra towels, soap dispensers in shower were empty, and the room had a strong odor throughout the entire stay.

We stayed for 2 days, we had to request specifically to have someone clean our room, we left for the day and returned it three only to find the room still not cleaned. The general cleanliness in the room was substandard could easily have been better with a little more detail oriented. And the downstairs public bathrooms for the two days we were there were never open for use always under repair.

The hotel was in poor shape. Rooms were dirty-lots of hair. Both bathrooms on main floor were closed. Staff were literally yelling at each other and shouting in front on my kids. This was not a good experience, I would not go back to this hotel.

The woman at the front desk was wonderful but room was terrible. I immediately came back to front desk and told her i couldn't stay in room given. It was that bad..... walks had black hanprints on it, full length mirror had nastiness on it, and the floor(carpet) was sticky. She resolved it quickly for me but I won't be back as this was the second disappointing stay. Rooms need repainted, bathrooms re- done, and deep cleaning!

Don't waste your time and money. Very poor condition. Out door lock didn't work, switched rooms and that one didn't work well either. While building is in shambles. Decor is nice and staff is friendly but that's it. Spend more money and go somewhere else.

The first room was smelling of mold and water damage. I refused it. The second room is better, but the hotel baths are in need of an update. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, he checked out the second room.

Breakfast was very limited, not well stocked, had no decaf coffee, no milk for cereal one morning. Towels and fresh linens were not provided after the first night.

The indoor pool was murky and stunk horribly. Breakfast was good, but make sure you get there early. Food was gone by 9 am and they do not restock food or coffee. No customer service available to even ask for over 20 minutes. Even to ask for more towels, they were unfriendly about it ( only 2 towels for a room that sleeps 6) . Room service did not clean the room for our 2nd night, although the door stayed open for 3 hours while personals were in the room while they were “cleaning “ . My standards aren’t that high, and it was just as we were passing through, but this was disappointing and and an uncomfortable stay.

And it was dirty, there was spill stains on the tv, the carpet was dirty the towels looked like they had been used, there was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door that had a long piece of hair on it. The shower had rust stains and spots in it and the room overall just had a strange smell. My husband went downstairs to see if we could change rooms and they have us on a few doors day and it wasn’t any better. This place seems more like a trap house run down motel than a hotel. I was glad the front desk receptionist didn’t give us a hard time about getting a full refund and leaving. Luckily we were able to get in quickly with another hotel and had a much better experience even though we had to pay a little bit more, after this experience we didn’t care.

When we arrived we were welcomed to a stained couch in the lobby. The WI-FI would not connect to enter the password. The room had rust on the fixtures and all the. Wallpaper was bubbling off the walls. We had no hand soap in the bathroom and no wash clothes. The breakfast was very basic. Wouldn’t stay again.

This was a very comfortable property with nice rooms, friendly personnel, affordable pricing, free parking, and the neighborhood felt very safe with a lot of nice restaurants close by. Very convenient to all areas of Savannah. I wish I had found this one sooner. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Savannah Southside. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet yet close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh and well organized, and overall the stay felt easy and relaxing. I’d happily stay here again.

Looks they are upgrading, exterior painting in progress, our room was huge and clean excellent job by house keepers and team. No complaints at all was just missing pool, which was closed for some reason, but that’s not a big deal in cold weather. Front desk agent was friendly and yes breakfast is too good.

I did not eat the breakfast as the rest of the hotel was disgusting. The pool was literally shut down because of the health department and being unsanitary. There were some questionable stains on the furniture in the room, as well a the walls.

Probably the worst hotel we have stayed in, in a while. The rooms are dirty, musty, and dingy. We stayed on the second floor and most of the doors looked like they had to be pried open with a crow bar. Not sure why. We arrived to our room and you could feel it wasn't clean. Went to the bathroom and the tub was dirty with hair in it. Reached out to the front desk. The manager that came tried to pick out the hair with his bare hands! We were offered another room. Went to two, each one worse than the first! He then offered to re-clean one of the least smelly rooms. Went in after he "cleaned" and it was still dirty. Only positive that we experienced was with the staff. Very friendly and welcoming.

BED BUGS!!! IF YOU DECIDE TO BOOK, TURN THE HEAT ON IN YOUR ROOM. BED BUGS WILL BEGIN TO CRAWL OUT OF THE CREVICES. The owner was rude and dismissive when I was finally able to get in touch with him!! He claimed to be out of town at the time. I have pictures and video proof +insurance so I will definitely be taking things a few steps further!! MY GIRLFRIEND HAD SEVERAL BITE MARKS!! VERY DISPLEASED!!! FREAKING BED BUGS!!!??!!!??

We arrived at the Hotel at the same time as another couple. We were told on the phone what our rooms numbers were. The couple in front of us said they could not climb stairs. And the receptionist said to me ooops I just gave your rooms away. And that the only room available is on the 3 floor and the elevator is not working. I told her I had rooms for handicapped reserved, and my husband is handicapped he can’t walk 3 flights of stairs. We had made reservations a week in advance. She said that we would have to be refunded. I was very disappointed and upset that happened. We had just driven 5 hours and had to try and find a Hotel in the same area. So disappointed

I had a great stay here. The staff were super welcoming and went out of their way to help whenever I needed something. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location made it really easy to get around, and I actually looked forward to coming back to the hotel at the end of the day. Overall, it felt like good value for the price and I’d definitely stay again.

I love the people!!! A1 staff they were more than accommodating! These were the most hospitable, sweet, and welcoming people that I have ever met. My stay was the most enjoyable I’ve had in many years! I wish I can tell all my friends instead I’m telling you guys! If you’re looking to stay in the area this place out ranks the finer hotels such as Marriott. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The first thing I noticed was the smell of fresh linen that flooded the time when walking in. The staff even invited me to join in on a birthday celebration! Real affordable really nice really charming staff 1,000 stars is too few. Kudos to Asha and Varin and Sophia I love them!!

The Staff was amazing the service was great, We did had to move rooms. The 1st room key did not work. The 2nd room the toilet overflow, the tv only work sometime. The 3rd room was excellent. All problems were solved in minutes.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but wanted to give this hotel a shoutout for their customer service. We were here for a short trip and they were so friendly and always asked if there was anything we needed. Excellent customer service!

Bathtub was unsafe, rounded bottom, worn out anti slip material, and slick. Breakfast, waffle batter was spoiled, limited supply’s , and attendant not keeping up with need. Pool not available, ice machine out of order, liquid on floor is elevator after dog walked through. Staff just put a towel over it. Honestly didn’t see the source of the liquid but did see the towel TV worked for local Chanel’s but not well on cable.

Amanda at the front desk was very nice, but the new management was horrible rooms were not clean at 4:30pm then they overbooked so could barely get guest rooms after I had a reservation. When they did get a room he told me to wait 10 mins I waited an over a hour go to the room the door is open and the room was not cleaned! They ran my card then tried to run it again stating it sent say approved it said pending, the experience was just not good I will not be returning.

Staff was friendly upon check-in but absent or aloof after that. Pool was open but arbitrarily closed when my wife and kids went down to use it, as if the staff had forgotten to put up a closed sign. Elevator went out of service when bringing luggage out to car and guy at front desk didn’t seem too bothered. Second floor was being renovated and painters had tracks drops of wet pant into vestibule and on sidewalk. Cheap DIY security cameras had been put up in many common areas which repeated in a loud message “ready to connect” all night. Other guests broke the quiet hours and smoked pot in their room pretty openly.

They are renting unfinished rooms. Finish the renovations before you sell. Dust on every surface of the room. Checked in at 11p.m and inhaled drywall dust all night. Was told, we have the better room of all that were available. Painters tape still on fixters, one room had paint cans in it. No ice machine, then the smell of wet carpet and mold is so hard to describe.

This hotel is not like any country inn and suite I have stayed in. The hotel had a bad smell and odor. We saw a few roaches in our room. AC was not working great. Pool was closed our first night they said it was over filled. Amanda front desk clerk was nice and friendly. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

It was 80 degrees in the hotel. The air conditioner in my room didn't work correctly. The room was not clean. The sink was clogged we had hair on our bed. They were out of towels and rags. We left the room early!!!

The stay was not as good.. room smelled like wet rugs. Asked to change. Couldn’t. Bathrooms were terrible. Pool was good lol Breakfast 3/10 imo of hotel breakfast.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms have a horrendous, the bathrooms were dirty, the pull out couch had no linen. 0/10 absolutely would not recommend.

Check in was slow. Housekeeping was limited. Room had issues and the property conditions were not good. The pool was not satisfying, the hotel needed renovations and overall my experience was horrible.

I booked and prepaid for 2 rooms . When we checked in I was only given 1 room key. The hotel manager was notified and I emailed him my information. He replied that I would not be charged. I was given my second room. I was still charged asked the manager when will I be refunded. I still have it received a response.

The building had a moldy odor and we had a family above us with children jumping on and off the beds and stomping on the floor. We had a water leak in the bathroom and had to change rooms.

COUNTRY INN...Well this is what you get on a budget and traveling at the last minute for the 4th of July. The main goal was Tybee Island. It was worth it. I did my own cleaning amd stayed away from the couch and ottoman.

They werent accepting bookings they stated we shouldn't of been able to book couldn't get my money back they were under construction it was awful the room smelled the first room the sink wouldnt drain so we had to move it was awful and we left early

I was not happy with the noise they were making while I was trying to sleep. They are remodeling the hotel and need to plan the repairs during the day when people are not sleeping. Everything else was fine.

Worse managed hotel that we have ever stayed at. Poorly run and manager was non-responsive and thought that it was funny that we had to wait 50 minutes for her to correct a billing mistake that her staff made.

The place was undergoing remodeling and dusk was everywhere. The pool was down, the gym was closed. I was out most of the day and when I returned the room was not clean, I cut the trip short and left. To be honest they should have closed for a few days for all the inconvenience the hotel put on travelers.

The room itself, though "clean" was worn, definitely needed the update that was pending. On the positive side, it was nice to have the extra hide-a-bed in room so my kids didn't have to share a a bed. Also, having a fridge and microwave was great. Breakfast was okay. More to offer on Sunday than Saturday, but they did have these cake-like muffins that were pretty good. Never seemed to have much hot coffee. The lobby offered Ice water, but the dispenser rarely had any water, only ice in it, but it certainly is nice to have it offered. The staff, especially the main housekeeper was very helpful, bringing more linens as needed and helped to get our new room when the first was already occupied. Finally, when we came back from dinner, a staff member came off the elevator leaving a plume of vape smoke behind. This, a Non-smoking facility.
