I didn't like the walls were dirty stained up needed repainting no toilet lid on back of toilet mold in the shower the walls on every area was nasty as my visitor asked do I need a tenatus shot before i come in it was that bad walls needed painting bathtub had no stopper sink as well no toilet lid or back of the toilet I heard noise all night from people next door talking they weren't loud it is the placement of the beds need to reconsider the locations of the beds not placed against the same walll as I said before it was filthy it was nasty but I didn't complain I was happy to get to spend time with my friend It is definetly not a place I would recommend to anybody and I willl not be staying there again ever here are the pictures to prove this you tell me would you pay over $200 to stay in this

Absolutely nothing to like about this property. Room were disgusting. There was shady stuff going on in the parking lot. No house keeping the whole time. They wouldn’t refund my money and even once I got them to change our room the room was in no better shape. We cleaned it ourselves. If you’re a single female or someone with children absolutely don’t stay at this hotel.

Customer service at front desk was exceptional and efficient and the location was convenient to everything . The linens were rough and stiff. The chair, bathtub and curtain had stains which left me uncomfortable to use the sheets and blanket.

Location Very run down and not clean

Absolutely nothing. The room was filthy, bugs in the linens and trash under the beds. Mystery something smeared on a wall. Water ran brown for 5 minutes. When we requested another room we were told there was no other rooms and the attendant almost refused to take the bug ridden linens. We rested long enough to get back on the road and out of that building. Only thing worse was we had it booked for our return trip as well and refused a refund from the clerk. This used to be a beautiful little spot but apparently they changed ownership and it went quickly downhill. Again this used to be a nice place but the new ownership has allowed it to become a flop house for drug users and vagrants. It had obviously been quite a while since a cleaning, we found another visitors receipt on the floor between the bed and the nightstand, dated 2024 with personal info. How Booking.com hasn't removed them already is beyond me? I hate that there is a no refund policy but I can see why because I'm sure there are others like myself who stayed here in the past and had a great experience. Look for my second review to see how the return trip went, you won't believe it.

The phones in the room does not work The tv does not work and when I brought it to their attention, they said they would send somebody soon, no one showed up. They motel is almost 80% empty but they only give you 30 minutes for a check out extension Same thing I said in the like section. I like nothing at all about the motel.

roaches roaches roaches. everyday. i say everyday i have bugs and they claim to come spray but they are in the sink, the walls, come out the sockets. just smashed one and another escaped while i was typing this. my tv remote hasn’t worked my whole stay even though ive called multiple times and even got multiple remotes. the doors are crooked so the front door lets in noise and air and bugs while the bathroom door doesn’t close. they say it’s daily house keeping but it’s more like every couple days unless you say something

Just the location I liked nothing about this place. As soon as my wife and I walked in the room there was a roach sitting there on the floor waiting to welcome us. When I went to the front desk to let her know she kept saying they didnt have roaches. I also asked her for more sheets because their were stains on them and she lied and told me she couldnt find the sheets, I mean what hotel doesnt have extra sheets? But since it was so late I was like ok just give me a broom so I can atleast sweep the floor because it wasnt clean smh. The tv remote didnt work! We went out to get tacos and when we got back as soon as we sat the food on the table roaches came from every corner of the room like swap on a felon. Long story short the room was dirty and infested and everything in them are out dated. We ended up sleeping in the car until 8am. We didnt even shower, we just left when we woke up. Dont get a room here even if there’s no choice.

The room smelled horrible, the guy at the counter was rude, the floor and bed sheets were damp, one lamp didn’t work & the other was about to fall off of the wall when you touched it, the sink water drain got clogged every time you washed your hands or brushed your teeth, the tv had a black line running down the middle of it, and the shower has mold growing in it.

Can’t expect much from the price. Room looked about what you’d expect from a cheap hotel. Booked a king bed, but we were given a full. Was told we were already getting a “discount rate” since all the king rooms were booked, but worker would not give me any proof to back that up. Wasn’t really a huge issue though. Second night I found bed bugs in the mattress and had to change rooms. Worker reacted like that was a common thing. Wouldn’t recommend.

It’s ok

Firstly, we werent looking for anything fancy. I was traveling from NC to FL with my elderly mother. We just needed a room for the night to rest. I purposefully picked this hotel because it provided free breakfast (per the website). The price was right and the pics of the rooms were perfect, just what we needed. Booked online.. Get there, walk into lobby, its hot and musty, the front desk woman wasnt even polite, just went through the motions like a robot. They had a sign on the desk that said they DO NOT provid3 breakfast.. oh well. Got our keys, drive to the back... discover that this is one of those hotels that people live out of. Im not knocking on that at all, but this place was disgusting. Walked in the room, the smell of cleaning product hits me in the face, it was so potent that it my my throat and nostrils hurt. Unfortunately it was well below the standards we expect and upon viewing the room we did not stay. There was a distinct smell and the furniture was shabby. There was a warning on the key card to keep the room deadlocked and to report any suspicious activity immediately. Whilst the cost was low, even if we had been paid to stay we would have declined.

Very little to like. Property unkempt, those silver mirrors in the pictures are loaded with dust! Decaying, stained furniture, we were afraid to touch them. Bed sheets have hairs. I could go on, but why bother! Never again!

The front desk staff are very courteous and are working hard to be a good service hotel. The hotel is near several distribution centers and therefore a lot of cargo truck activity. A little noisy at times but the price and location were fine for my purpose of being in the area.

Fair, good for budget

It was easy to find with gas stations, fast food around the corner/ walkable. The room was reasonably clean but both beds had a bunch of hair in it. I had to pull some teeth with the front desk to get an extra towel for my child because he hesitated to believe that there was only 2 sets of towels in the room. I was only provided 1 large towel. No face cloth or hand towel. I didn't argue coz i was tired but thought that was a bit weird when you know there's 3 in the room and you just checked up in. Everything else was fine

Cozy and a good price

Although beds were very comfortable, the rest of the room was shabby and very dirty. We stayed for 5 nights and housekeeping never once refreshed our room. Our third day there, the manager called me while we were out, asking me to come back to the hotel (I was half an hour away on a city bus at the time) to change rooms so pest control could spray. Website stated they served breakfast, but they do not.

It was ok. The room had an odor that was like an old folks home. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a bit worn-out.

Pictures don't paint an accurate picture. The property would be fine for a work overnight or drivers passing through, but it is absolutely not somewhere to stay for leisure.

The owners room backed up to mine so every time they'd cook or bang around I'd smell their food and hear them up until around 11pm. I had stayed here twice previously several years ago. It must have had different owners because they no longer provide breakfast and the customer service, furniture and rooms have gone way downhill. I'll never stay at the Inn at Mulberry Grove again.

A very good poperty for an off brand hotel.

Good location quiet and accessible to many options for dinner or shopping

The bed sheets had not been changed and I had found weird items under the blankets indicating they were not changed. We had people on both sides of us who fought and argued all night long. I have never had an issue before with this place but this time was very different

Well I’m not sure if this was a one time thing or something do all the time but they don’t allow access to the lobby either time morning or afternoon and they don’t do breakfast but do offer “snack bags”. Young ladie that did check in constantly made sure to tell us theres no smoking in the rooms. Although I don’t smoke anything but was felt she was telling me this based on my appearance but I could be wrong too. Overall not a bad place to stay as we would stay again if in the area again.

This is an older, renovated motel right off the Savannah exit on 95. We found the room clean, functional and comfortable. There is a nice convenience store/gas station next door for snacks. The area is a little rough and loud from traffic but with the curtains drawn, we hardly noticed. Check in was quick and friendly with a snack bag for breakfast. No surprises.

Initially, I likedthis property a lot. The first night check-in was wonderful. The beds were OK. The cleanliness was OK. You definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend it for a family traveling with children except there is no pool. The day I checked out, I fell. I stayed in the hospital for a few few hours. at first the person at the front desk was nice. She was helpful. I went back to my room. I couldn’t pack as fast as I thought I could. This is after x-rays and an MRI and bruises up and down the side of my leg side and arm. She came to my room and she was quite curt. I waited for her to finish speaking and I tried to explain my physical Limits. She interrupted me. I waited until she finished. She said something again. I waited until she finished. I told her I would be happy to pay for the extended check out. She again became very sharp and nasty She told me that I would have to pay the full amount for the room for another . I already have paid reservations at the Marriott. I would’ve done it anyway, considering how sore my body is right now. Once again, I tried to speak and she interrupted. I told her “excuse me. Please, let me finish speaking.” She interrupted again. Then she proceeded to call the police. I not once raise my voice. Not once did I interrupt her. This is how she treated me. I am an older physically challenged Woman traveling alone. I offered her obviously no physical threat. She said the manager was not there To speak to. Officers helped.

Had a hard time checking in, Was charged extra for a 9 year old child . The clerk was very rude and i had to get hotels .com involved over my reservation.

The staff was very odd. They called us asking what time we were checking in around 8:30 pm while we were still driving. When we got to the property, they asked some slightly specific questions about our kid and old they are. I'm not sure if that was because of child trafficking or not, but it was a little strange. We all complained about being itchy when we sat on the bed. We did not see bed bugs, but both my wife and I had bug bites that we discovered by the next day. The toilet in the room had an awful wh I'mistling noise when flushed.

Pretty strict wanted copy of everyone’s license that was staying in the room, had a 100$ deposit which wasn’t listed on the booking website. They must have had terrible customers cause they made me feel like I was doing something wrong, I actually thought they would have been happy if I didn’t have the 100$ deposit not mentioned since the room was non refundable 🤔

The location and price worked for us

A hour and half in that night, the attendant arrives and checks us in. Once we get in the room, I was disappointed to see walls looked dirty; the tv didn’t work; the sheet on the one bed looked stained; roaches were crawling. I relayed this to the attendant and I was told our room could be switched the next morning. I requested a discount for this inconvenience but was told there could be no discount since I booked through a 3rd party. Fast forward to the next day, my boyfriend and I left to go to the St. Patrick parade and I received a call that we had to return if we wanted a new room. That was impossible since we were in the middle of viewing the parade in Savannah. We forgo leaving the parade and settled on staying in that room. Once we got back, I had to get another keep because I misplaced my first one (I did find it). A gentleman told me our room was serviced; the tv worked; and the room was sprayed. I saw evidence of the spray and the dead roaches on the floor. We didn’t enjoy the stay at all.

They don't serve breakfast, but I got a bag of junk food from the clerk when I checked in. There's a Waffle House just across the road.

The property was clean for the most part. The towels in the room were old, dingy and unsightly. Towel appearance weighs heavily on the perception of overall cleanliness of a property.

Old, uncomfortable beds with filthy comforter that had cigarette burn holes. If you think the room is bad, the arrogant check in kid was even worse. Learn from my mistake, do your family a favor, and pick any other hotel in Savannah.

Reservation made in November - 2 months later, facility decided they weren't getting enuff of the charge I paid for the room, so TWO DAYS BEFORE, THEY said THEY called me to cancel but the number they had on file, that they claimed they got from hotels. com, was incorrect - THEY SAID THEY LEFT A VOICEMAIL to that (wrong) number- so when I showed up at the end of a 15 hour drive, I had no lodging... 2 hours later, (most of it on hold with hotels.com, I was ALLOWED to get the room I reserved, for a higher price, which I paid in full, and hotels.com refunded most of my initial investment, AND the difference is supposedly going to be refunded to me at a later date - pardon me if I don't hold my breath...

Everything was great. Friendly staff all around. Convenient for our travels. We will stay again. Thanks everyone

Room was dirty. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. We found a dead crab beside the bed. Dont even wanna know how it got there. And how the heck it didnt get cleaned up.

The room had decent furnishings but when we booked it had breakfast and when we arrived we were handed a bag with 1 water bottle and a few small snacks and was told it was instead of breakfast. The room had an odor. Not sure what. Didnt seem like smoke or maybe a combination of musty and smoke.

Room also decorated in Early American Thrift Shop. Furniture was all cracked or missing pieces. The TV was extremely hard to figure out. The fire escape plan was located in a desk drawer, not on the back of the door as required. Would NOT stay again.

This was a quick late night stay on the road passing through for a business trip. The Mulberry Inn is conveniently right off of 95. The hotel staff was super helpful. Our room was beautiful, quaint and immaculately clean. We will definitely stay again. There is a huge gas station and convenience store next door and you are 5 min from a Walmart as well. Well lit parking lot at the hotel and safe area.

Good value priced hotel

Nice place, rooms were clean, staff was nice, had an outside patio tha we enjoyed. It is next to a busy highway and a truckstop, so a room in the back if preferable. Very good restaurant, Milans, up the highway that was very good and reasonably priced, also found Frank and Lindas restaurant for breakfast and that was also very good.

Property was clean, convenient and staff were very friendly. As is the case with most 2 star hotels, amenities were modest and facilities were a bit tired/threadbare. Given that we were just looking for a place to spend the night it met our needs just fine at an affordable price

On Hotel.com the motel advertised a breakfast was included. No breakfast but only coffee and a "snack pack" was available. False advertising.

Room was not clean cigar wrappers on floor stains on bed sheets and towels. The tub was peeling and chipped. All of the furnature was dirty.

Quiet hotel (at least while we were there) and everyone kept to themselves which made me comfortable since I was from out of state and didn’t know the area. There are a few places to eat opened late/early.

If you are looking for everything new and shiny this isn't the place for you but if you are just looking for a clean and quite night sleep. this is the place for you. and easy to get to savannah.

Very difficult to feel safe here, multiple guys hanging out smoking in front of my door, trash everywhere. Sound of semis parking all night and day. Rooms are very run down. Ripped upholstery and banged up furniture, sheets worn thin in places.

Pro: near exit; con: walkways can be neater/cleaner; curtains were wrinkled; trash cans can be neater in walkway; toilet stool rocked back/forth; air vent was filled with lint, no facial tissue. Room 209, 5/6 - 7/2022.

The room smelled like cigarettes and sewage. Had to keep the door to the bathroom closer to avoid the smell of sewage coming from the toilet.

The staff was pleasant, air worked. The room smelled very bad and was quite dirty. 1 soap & shamppo for 3 people and 2 towlels. The cleaning staff had 1 spray bottle of cleaner and a broom.

The stay was mediocre at best. However, after we checked out our card was charged 3 more times. I had to dispute the charges with my bank because when I called the hotel they said that they don’t make charges without the card being present.

Booked this place in the middle of the night to sleep on our way to the beach. Got there, no one was even in the office, doors locked. Couldn't check in until 3pm!!! Wasnt given any refund. Would never do business with this place ever again!

I never had a chance to stay there. I wanted to cancel my reservation last night when i first put it in.

When asked for things at reception they were polite and tried to keep the customer satisfied. Covid rules mess with food availability which is unfortunate but generally it is great for the price.

The room was small but everything was clean,I guess you get what you pay for.The room had a musty smell in it.But over all it was O.k.king size bed.The towels where real small.
