Very quiet neighborhood.

Nice Victorian house in historic district, just minutes from the riverfront. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Lovely inn in a great location for historic Savannah. Responsive innkeeper. Bellingham Parlor Chamber is not one of the suites with kitchen but it was spacious with a frig & microwave, good bed & great walk-in shower. Heat and air worked. An issue for us was the lack of any indoor common space (ample outdoors) at the inn or comfortable seating or table inside the room, so we could only use the bed to relax.

My husband and I stayed here three nights for our 20th anniversary. The good: location was just a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park and within walking distance to restaurants and even to The Riverwalk if you wanted to walk that far (~a mile). The room was very clean and the mattress was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was also large and very clean with soft TP! The courtyard was cute and a nice place sit outside in the evening. The not-so-good: I booked a specific room by name through Hotels.com. I did not get that room but the one we did get was comparable and was very similar so no problem. This place advertised water and coffee in the room, and wine (upon request). We were told no wine. (No biggie, we got our own, but false advertising on the website.) All the coffee cups supplied were all dirty, one even with old water in it with a plastic cup on top. I texted Pete asking for wine glasses which he said he'd get for us but they never came. The mini half-n-halfs in the small frig curdled my coffee. The "guest common room" in the attic was obviously used a playroom for the owners' kids with toys and shoes laying around. The owner Pete never greeted us or asked if we needed anything during our 3 day stay. We happened to run into his wife and 2 boys a couple of times who were all polite and friendly, but kept to themselves. We felt very "on our own" which is fine if that's what you are looking for-- a very nice room near the park with no hospitality.

What a unique find. Like stepping into a Time Machine. From the antique deco in the room to the relaxing porch furniture- this is a great stay in Savannah.
- 5/5
Great shower, room, parking! The only room for improvement we think was the bed! Very hard to climb and also noisy.
- 5/5
This is a historic home, and therefore not a Hampton Inn. Very spacious, well decorated, clean and had space for free parking on the street or off the street. As a bonus, we took our tandem bike and had plenty of space to store it in the courtyard and it make for a great way to tour Savannah. Peter was great and being away from the business at the river was appreciated.
- 5/5
Charming hotel in a nice neighborhood off Forsyth Square. Nice hosts, clean and welcoming room.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful and historic property that worked great for our family of five!
- 4/5
Having dedicated parking for guests was a real perk in a city where many hotels charge $75 per night for valet parking. I don't think the property offered a kitchen for resident use. I did see one through windows we passed when entering and leaving the room, but it was behind a locked door.
- 5/5
Such a wonderful stay. Awesome location, super walkable. We only used our car once during our 2 night stay. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely would stay again!!!
- 5/5
The kitchen in our suite was a kitchenette. It was convenient and had what we wanted. But, we had no intentions of cooking a meal there.
- 5/5
Great host and a lovely room and bathroom.
- 5/5
Charming house in great condition. Location is perfect. The owner is very nice and accommodating! Highly recommend this property.
- 5/5
Exceptional all around!
- 5/5
Stay was fabulous
- 5/5
Great location with full kitchen. Queen bed was very comfortable, but mattress high off the ground. Step stool was provided to get into bed. Peter (owner) was nearby and very responsive. Good recommendations for local restaurants on the excellent website.
- 4/5
Close to Forsyth Park.
- 5/5
The suite was absolutely stunning! I loved the location and the history! It felt like stepping back in to the 1800s, and was incredibly comfortable and clean. Peter was extremely helpful during my stay. I will definitely be back!
- 2/5
Bldg dilapidated w electrical code violations on edge of ghetto w gunshots @night. Lousy insulation + big barking dog next door. Owner never greeted us. Odd place.
- 5/5
Great place! Loved the room. Easy walk to Forsyth Park and Downtown!
- 5/5
The property was well maintained with an active owner/host. Check-in/out was a breeze. Upon entering the Nichols Suite, you step into an entry room with stairs leading up to the living space. The "room" actually consisted of a full sized and we'll appointed kitchen complete with appliances, coffee, and everything needed for home cooked meals. A full sized living room with tv and Roku, a beautiful bedroom with four poster king sized bed, and a very large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. There were also two full sized sofas in the unit with several wingback chairs perfectly placed. From the beautifully finished hardwood floors to the dining table set inside a large bay window overlooking the quiet Savannah street, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again upon our next visit to the area.
- 5/5
The owner was very accomodating and friendly as well. Check in and check out was easy.
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a concert. The High Cotton Suite was spacious and tastefully decorated. We had easy access to all of historic downtown Savannah. Forsyth Park is close by, too. Free parking was a plus! The recommendations for dining were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
very welcoming and accommodating. would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
The owners were very attentive. The place was quiet, well appointed and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Hidden away from the hustle and bustling of Savannah streets with Forsyth Park only 2 blocks away. Rich in it's history and original decor. Our host was gracious and informative. Looking for that old world charm Printmaker's Inn is a must stay!!
- 5/5
Pete was incredibly helpful + there is a great list of recommendations. Room was spot on + shower had plenty of water pressure :-) Looking forward to staying again.
- 5/5
Overall, the Printmaker's Inn had all the charm we hoped for in Savannah and then some, and its location is perfect for exploring all that the city has to offer. We can't recommend this place highly enough to friends and family and look forward to staying again whenever we next make it to Savannah!
- 5/5
It was like a home away from home- bedroom with sitting area , bath and separate full kitchen. Beautiful yard with iron gate to sit outside safely at night , complimentary wine and water, family owners very helpful with pointing things out on maps for us, I highly recommend this property. Loved the Henry Suite.,
- 5/5
A beautiful historic inn in the historic area of Savannah with welcoming hosts and a lovely yard to enjoy.
- 5/5
A beautiful historic inn near Forsyth Park. Very comfortable and walkable to restaurants, parks, and attractions.
- 5/5
I loved the room it was so historical and very unique. The only complaint i have is the poster bed was a bit high for someone who has short legs and had to pull the chair over to climb into the bed. Maybe placing a step stool under the bed might help. Thank you for the stay it was wonderful.
- 5/5
We spent a lovely Valentine's weekend in Savannah, at the Printmakers Inn. The inn is split between 2 houses, a colonial one, and next door, one from the late 1790s. Our room was in the most recent one. We stayed in the Lt Galloway room, a large, bright, and comfortable room. We really enjoyed the historic feel! Pete, our host, was charming and attentive to our needs. The place itself is very close to Forsyth Park and walking distance from the historic part of town. Savannah is very touristy and we had a difficult time finding restaurants with openings for dinner. If you are planning to eat at a specific restaurant ,especially one recommended online, it is best to reserve before you leave for your trip!
- 5/5
Fantastic place to stay. Attentive hosts. Easy walking distance to park and restaurants. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
This historic property is two blocks west of Forsyth Park in the Victorian neighborhood (historic district south). The street is quiet, and the room and private bath were large and comfortable. Peter is a wonderful host and lives on the property with his wife and two children. He is available whenever you might need him.
- 5/5
I liked everything about the stay. Owners were so nice and accomadating. I enjoy old houses and appreciate their architecture. Great location and reasonable.
- 4/5
It was an upstairs suite and walking up those steps with luggage was something! Room had everything necessary and was very clean. Wi-Fi was poor with the signal dropping every once in a while. Did have a smart TV but only a few over-the-air channels.
- 5/5
It’s the perfect location in the historic area of Savannah. We stayed here for the women’s marathon. It was easily accessible to walk downtown, we rented bikes from Savannah on wheels, making our city touring even more fun. The place was quiet and clean, the kitchen was a nice surprise with coffee and waters left for us. Pete, the owner was just a text away if we needed anything.
- 5/5
Stay was pleasant and from the moment we arrived Pete was there and was very welcoming and provide us with great recommendations to go around the town. Loved the originality of the house and its centralized location to everything!!
- 5/5
The area was very beautiful and quiet.
- 5/5
We stayed in the Nichols Suite and it was spectacular! We were there for our wedding and couldn’t have had a better place! Th we getting ready pictures were limitless. The owner Peter was very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend this for any future brides as well as all of my friends and family. Absolutely beautiful!
- 4/5
Location, for two able seniors, was a little far from the city central to walk on a very warm day. Found it better to use the Trolly Service and hop on and off facility.
- 5/5
Pete met us at check in and gave us lay of the land. It’s far enough away to sleep well and close enough to walk to the action! If you love history, it’s a sensory experience to stay on a historic property like this while visiting.
- 5/5
Finding this gem was worth the trip. Peter was a fabulous host and very prepared for our visit. He had a list of recommendations that were thoughtfully prepared for his guests. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious, very comfortable stay and would recommend staying here.
- 5/5
The house was beautiful. It is walkable distance to many main attractions (unless it’s in the middle of summer …. It’s hotttt)!! Pete the owner was very attentive and friendly ! It was a great stay and a great trip!
- 5/5
Charming room, comfortable bed with large, clean, bright modern bathroom. Enjoyed our stay. Host very accessible by text.
- 5/5
The property was very quiet and perfect for visiting our daughter. Peter was very accommodating and kept in contact before and during our stay. Checkin and out was easy. Only real criticism was the bathroom shower was small. Beds were comfortable and the suite was clean. Would definitely go back. Thank you.
- 5/5
Beautiful property with an enchanting history. Peter is a wonderful inn keeper
- 4/5
Great location. Historical building with all the ghostly creaks and moans. No access to other parts of Inn, but has a little attic community room.
- 5/5
Very nice property. So convenient to have parking. Rooms were big and clean.
- 5/5
Owner was very nice, and flexible about check-out time and check-in process. Overall a very pleasant experience, and a well maintained beautiful property. We would consider returning again based on our experience. Very quiet other than the neighbor's dogs that were let out early in the morning sometimes.
- 5/5
Beautiful property in the most perfect location near Forsyth Park. The room was so clean and pretty. Can’t wait to come back!
- 5/5
Historic renovated property close to Forsyth Park…great location!
- 5/5
Absolutely perfect. I was traveling by myself and felt comfortable and safe. I had an upper flat to myself. It was clean and the neighborhood was the best. Right in the middle of historic Savannah. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Pete, the owner, was a very friendly host and made us feel most welcome during our stay in Savannah.
- 5/5
We were extremely impressed with the building and its authentic historical atmosphere, architecture and decor. The attic room was like stepping in time! We stayed in the Bellingham suite and it was fantastic! The rooms were spotless, modern amenity bathroom seamlessly complimenting the historical look of the property. The courtyard is gorgeous and secure with coded lock gates. Super quick River Street access. Ubers are available with an average of only a 3-5 minutes wait but the downtown area is also well within walking distance. The property owner was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to messages. This is now out go-to place whenever we return to Savannah. We really loved it.
- 5/5
Amazing!!! Loved everything about our stay.
- 4/5
Very atmospheric, historic home. Well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds and great linens.
- 5/5
Printmaker's Inn is just a few blocks from Forsyth Park making it perfect for a quiet night's sleep and an early morning run or coffee run (the room does offer coffee). It was truly peaceful here and in such a great location to get to downtown, Starland, and a short Uber ride near anywhere else. What must be discussed is the gorgeous, detailed work these owners have put into restoring these buildings. I stayed in the Bellingham Suite chosen for its paint, woodwork, and light. If you love natural light and not-so-dark rooms, this is perfect for you too. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed with just enough storage and stylish touches to let one's own imagination roam. I can't wait until I can return and try out other rooms as I continue to touch down on Savannah.
- 4/5
Would have wanted more check-in & check-out info earlier.
- 5/5
Felt safe walking around the neighbourhood.
- 5/5
The originality and history of the property is wonderful; great location just off Forsyth Park - very quiet at night. High Cotton suite
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and so spacious! We really appreciate the personal texts including recommendations and pertinent information. When we come back this place will definitely be our first choice of a place to stay!
- 4/5
We were missing some of the complimentary drinks but were fine without. The only thing that left us feeling a little 'meh' was that we were not placed in our booked room apparently due to a broken air conditioner. Instead we were put in a smaller, slightly cheaper room. We were offered to 'check out' our original room by 6pm the next day but at that point it was more of a hassle to switch and it was very late in the evening by the time we were back. It's understandable that those things happen but we weren't refunded the difference or offered anything to compensate. Even though it was a small amount it would have been a nice gesture.
- 5/5
Very large living room with comfortable seating. Only wish they would have a small table in corner for morning breakfast
- 4/5
Lovely 3 room suite in a great location in historic Savannah! So much better than a hotel room!
- 5/5
The Inn was beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings and thoughtfully placed details (ie hooks for towels, surface area space for putting things down), loved the area near Forsyth park. Quiet and felt safe but still not so far from restaurants and other things to do. InnKeeper exceptional communicator. Very helpful tips.
- 5/5
We were surprised at the size of the Nicol's Suite; it includes a full kitchen! The innkeeper has thought of everything to make your stay feel like "home*! Located an easy walkable distance to the lovely Forsyth Park.
- 5/5
Omg! I absolutely LOVE this property! The building we stayed in was an historic Connecticut farmhouse that was brought to Savannah & is the oldest in the city. Our room had beautiful antique-looking furniture, balcony, patio, outdoor seating, attic access. The area is so walkable you can get to Forsyth Park & off to sightseeing. Uber availability is round the clock for when the humidity gets to you. 10/10 no notes; I'm definitely staying here upon a Savannah return if there's availability.
- 5/5
The property was right by Forsyth Park and we could walk to all the historic areas easily. We also were able to walk to restaurants and to the grocery store. What a great location!
- 5/5
This place was great! so much space (: the rooms were lovely - and comfortable. And easy to walk anywhere in downtown Savannah. And the host, Peter, was so easy to get hold of for little minor things. I will stay here again if I'm ever back in Savannah.
- 4/5
Loved the location. The historical decor is charming. It was a bit of a surprise that there was no television in the room. Though we were out and about most of the time, we missed being able to check local weather etc. It would be nice to have ice available. The little fridge in the room is handy but does not the capacity for ice.
- 5/5
The Button Suit was absolutely beautiful. We would stay here again. The owners are very responsive. The location was perfect.
- 5/5
From the time of arrival to our departure, Peter was very accommodating and helpful. We will most certainly visit again.
- 3/5
The bed was a queen instead of the king size listed in the description but it was very comfortable. The location is excellent and was very easy to find. The property despite being close to the street was very quiet. There was a fence and wall around the property and security was excellent. The bathroom was first rate. There was some bad things as well. The Expedia listing said there was a TV with 200 channels; however, there was no TV at all in the room. The room was very large with 2 rooms but the sitting area only had 1 small sofa that was very uncomfortable. There were a couple of straight chairs that were also uncomfortable. I am not sure this room had been completed actually. It was apparently decorated to reflect the Victorian Era but was far from a finished product. There were some good things about this property but overall, it was a disappointment.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay in the high cotton sweet! The stairs are steep going up to it, but once up it’s beautifully decorated and feels so homey! The kitchenette was perfect for us. There was coffee and water bottles available. The sun room was a highlight. To be honest we didn’t do much besides sleep there because there is so much to do in Savannah! We walked almost everywhere. River district is about a 25 min walk. There is also a public trolley that is free and runs until 6 pm. Would definitely consider staying here again when we return to Savannah!
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I loved our stay! There are two homes on the property one of which is the one we stayed in called Hills-Galloway house which has an amazing history. It was originally located in New England and moved to its current location where it’s been renovated. We stayed in the bellingham parlor chamber suite and it was lovely. The room was so clean, the bathroom was beautiful and new, the bed was so comfortable. The room had a few antique pieces which added to the charm. There was complimentary parking right behind the house which was so nice since we were able to walk everywhere and didn’t need to use it. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the beautiful Forsyth park and just a 10-15 minute walk to the main historic area. We loved the location. After going to the more touristy area near the riverwalk, we were happy to be a little outside of the main center. We got a more local vibe and still felt close to everything. Pete the owner was so communicative and helpful. He’s done an amazing job with the renovations. This hotel is really a hidden gem and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to Savannah.
- 4/5
We loved the step back in time with the historic features of the suite. It was close to Forsyth Park, restaurants, a very walkable to the downtown Savannah historic district. The off street parking was great and the locked courtyard entrance was secure. Pete was very responsive and had amazing recommendations!
- 5/5
Beautiful restored inn to its original period time. Large rooms. Convenient to Forsyth Park. Nice courtyard.
- 5/5
Will definitely try stay at Printmaker’s Inn if ever back in Savannah.
- 5/5
Lovely historical home with character. Peter the manager was helpful in every way.
- 5/5
I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Accommodation nowhere close to the historic district and in a rather unsafe area. Our last night there, there were police cars up and down the street dealing with an incident. We had to enter our suite through the back alleyway. There were no toiletries provided, and I had to ask our host for the tea and wine the website indicated was included. One morning, I found a cockroach in the kitchen. Overall, the property is tired and in need of some restoration. If you’re looking for a historic and comfortable experience, look elsewhere!
- 5/5
Host was wonderful and the suite was perfect - large, clean, well appointed and a beautiful historic building.
- 4/5
The inn itself was awesome but construction for new parking area next to our bedroom did not make for any time to relax in the mornings. Otherwise we would stay there again!
- 5/5
The Button Suite was spacious, super comfortable and in a great location. We will return and highly recommend it.
- 5/5
Beautiful historical home. Super spacious and very private. Walking distance to Forsyth Park and not far from the main attractions. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back!
- 4/5
A beautiful old home, with period appropriate decorations. Unfortunately the photo show on the listing doesn't show the home immediately to the right (photoshoped out?), which was undergoing renovation at that time of our visit.
- 5/5
Will return. Great place
- 5/5
Great amount of space and historic charm make you feel like you are stepping back in time.
- 5/5
Beautiful old house with lovely everything and a ton of space. Wish there were more ice cubes!
- 5/5
First of all, this is a lot of space, a very nice surprise! That being said it's rather remarkable that all of this space is so clean. We've stayed lots of places and understand the challenges of cleaning, this is certainly above the standard. The space lives like a home with the amenities of a boutique hotel. It surpassed our expectations and contributed immensely to the magical feeling that downtown Savannah brings..
- 5/5
The inn is beautiful and i loved the old fashion furniture. There is good WiFi.
- 5/5
Spacious suite. Lovely place
- 5/5
Printmakers Inn is a beautifully renovated Victorian home, we loved it!

- 5/5
This property located near Savannah historic downtown is an absolute charm! The owners intentionally preserved the historic aspects of the property, furniture and facade. We had a wonderful, relaxing time there and did a lot of walking in downtown Savannah. The owner also recommended a list of nice restaurants. We tried the Flock the Wok, it was authentic, tasty and not pricy.
- 5/5
"Printmaker Pete" was amazing. Never saw the guy, but he was constantly in touch with us to ensure a pleasant stay. Understand, if you stay here, you basically have an entire house to yourself. Enormous space. Many rooms. Easy parking. A home-run! God Bless "Printmaker Pete"!
- 5/5
Beautiful large house, lovely touches throughout. Could use some updating in the finishing, but overall a great place to stay on vacation. Checkin was easy. Checkout was easy. Gifted us a bottle of wine. The place had everything we needed. Robert was very accommodating and responsive.
- 5/5
The Inn is in a great location. We walked every day to Forsyth Park and then to the river, hitting the many squares along the way. I would absolutely highly recommend the Printmaker’s Inn!
- 5/5
Beautiful home! Our section of the larger house was 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a common room and a kitchen. It had everything we needed and was close to parks. It was about a mile to the downtown area, but the walk was not bad as there were things to see along the way looking at the old buildings, shops, and squares. It was actually nice to be a little outside the noise of town for a quieter visit.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful historic home that we absolutely loved. My family and I took our first trip to Savannah and I’m so happy we stayed here. Peter was a wonderful host and made our stay very pleasant. We were close to everything downtown. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Beautiful unique space. Really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful and comfortable room and decor. Walkable.
- 5/5
We loved our stay and have already recommended it tot everyone we talk to when traveling to Savannah
- 5/5
Only thing we didn’t like was having to leave.
- 5/5
The stay was amazing! Only problem was getting the key out of the door. But overall we gave it a 10!
- 5/5
Love the southern beauty of these homes. You get to live the era and enjoy all the ease of being minutes away from eveything. **FYI, they sweep thr roads on various days and parking is prohibited then. I believe the Printmakers Inn swee0 days are Wednesday and Thursday, but I am not sure of the start and finish time.
- 3/5
In a quiet area but required driving to areas of interest.
- 4/5
Kind owner
- 5/5
We are very happy that we chose Printmaker's for our 25th wedding anniversary and first trip to Savannah. The inn offers a lot of charm and the location is within walking distance for exploring the Victorian and Historic districts. Better than a B&B, this is a beautiful property without the shared foyer/breakfast of a regular B&B. We really liked the High Cotton Suite, with its large layout and relaxing sun porch in the back upstairs. Great, quiet area (though there was construction next door during our visit-Oct. '21). We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
Everything about this property was a pleasant experience! Living like a local for a couple of nights was just what we wanted. Every person we passed on the street by the house greeted us with a friendly hello. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The owners are so welcoming, helpful with lists of restaurants and responsive to any questions.
- 5/5
Very spacious suite in a beautiful 19th century house, with every convenience and amenity. Peter is a very courteous host who attended our every question and need. The property is located in a beautiful area two blocks from Forsyth park.
- 5/5
Our stay at the Printermaker's Inn was wonderful! It was beautiful, clean, and spacious as well as in a great location. Thank you!
- 4/5
We enjoyed this property. Classic Victorian in a location close to Forsyth Park and not too far from downtown. We were left with a slightly bad taste in our mouth when we parked where the owner indicated on the street in front of the property and received a parking ticket of 35 dollars. When notified of that problem the owner did not respond. That's a little classless.
- 2/5
Unless you want to clean your own room and need to pick up Toilet paper etc during your stay keep on moving
- 5/5
Peter was always in contact with us gave us great restaurants to visit very attentive from booking our reservations until our check out
- 5/5
Loved the house and our 1st floor suite which allowed us to use the front porch. Pet friendly and everything we needed. Perfect place to stay near Forsyth Square and the Historic District. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day.
- 4/5
We had some noise on the first night but that was rectified immediately. Great responsive customer service.
- 5/5
Great getaway, close to Forsyth Park and walking distance to everything in the historic district with tons of great places to eat nearby. Parked for free right in front of the Inn.
- 5/5
Convenient access, Private, well lite, loved staying in an older home.
- 2/5
Location is great. Besides that, people should take into account that this is not a hotel, this is just a house for rent and in that sense it is very pricey for what you are getting.
- 4/5
Overall - good, attractive, well-located place. On the down side, the bathmats were ragged and ancient (though clean). There was no place in the shower (e.g., a caddy) to place soap or shampoo. The bath products were poor - a large container of Dove body wash, and no hand soap at the sink. (We found some in the downstairs bathroom and brought it up.)
