Great hotel and close to everything Savannah has to offer!!

This hotel was very well priced and we really loved the location of this hotel! It was just a few blocks walk to City Market and Broughton Street, close to Forsyth Park, and pretty much anything we wanted to do in Savannah. The property was well maintained and we really enjoyed having the pool to use after a hot day and lots of walking. We also liked Toasted Barrel that was attached to the hotel - they had great drink specials and so-so food. The few cons were: the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and made so much noise anytime you moved. I would honestly not stay here again only because of this. The breakfast was fine, but everything was pretty much lukewarm - not hot. Last, the elevators were extremely slow and at one point only one was working. Most of the time we took the stairs, but it was located all the way on the other side of the property from our room.

Very nice room, good size. The man running the desk (Jermaine? Jerome?) was very helpful even though it was very busy. Valet was helpful to have. We enjoyed walking around near the hotel and we were comfortable here.

Great location! It was so easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was perfect with the sleep sofa and pull out trundle which allowed my mom and son to have their own beds. The breakfast made mornings really easy and fast. Check-in was a little rough but after that everything was great. Also top marks to valet! They were quick and really nice. We had a spill on the way and the car was a little musty, they even took the time to spray some air freshener for us!

The room was not cleaned up when required ( every other day). We had to request cleaning our room after two days. There are not safety boxes in the rooms, which is considered a standard in every major hotel.

Paid 40.00 per day for parking but was not publicized on booking site. Wait for employee to get your car was way too long.

Parking was $40 The room was nice, we got the king size and loved the half bathrooms idea. Good, strong showers. The breakfast was OK, many staples but some not great, the scrambled eggs were from a box and not very tasty. Nice gym I would go back to the hotel next time we go to Savannah!

Everything was immaculate, the location was great. It is walking distance to river street and all shops. Not very much public parking in area.

We were there for my nieces graduation and it was pouring rain, we asked if we could borrow an umbrella and were told that they don't loan them out but they do have some for sale. We asked if we could store our luggage since we had a lot of time between checking out and our flight, and again, we were told we could store our luggage for a fee of $10 per piece. We did speak to the manger and the fee was waved. Overall the hotel was clean and had a decent breakfast.

Location. So closs to the trolley. cleanliness of the room. The breakfast buffet was very good too. Grits, Waffles, bagels, toast, oh, coffee, oatmeal, bacon, sausage. The staff was amazing. Loved the handicap room, it was so large & roomy!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the downtown historic location was the best part since everything was convenient and walkable. The rooms were a little small, and parking was not free, but we found cheaper parking across the street. Check-in was easy, and we would definitely stay again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Ice machine on our floor was out of service so we had to go to the first floor. Bar has an outstanding selection of top shelf Whiskey as the name implies but the cocktails were pretty expensive and precisely poured. Breakfast was busy but good and had all of the standard food, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and muffins.

Good breakfast and nice place. Only bad thing we experienced was a roach in the room…we notified staff and they said they would treat the room but I don’t think anything was done (we were out shopping during the day so maybe we missed them)

Breakfast was good but not the Cracker Barrell - did have fruit and granola

It wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best either. The staff wasn't overly friendly and seemed like you were bothering them. While the property was updated, everything just seemed a little grungy. Our shower drain was backed up so it would fill up with water when you took a shower. I overheard another woman tell the staff that her door handle was broken and the shampoo and conditioner was empty. So overall, it wasn't bad but just wasn't one of the best hotels I've been at.

The mens bathroom in the lobby was disgusting. Water, i think, all over the floor. There was a broken urinal. Garbage overflowing also. The comforter in our room was dirty or stained the total width of the comforter. I have pictures to verify my claims. I dontblike to complain but when you pay your hard earned money.....you expect cleanliness at the minimum.

The men’s public rest room by the lobby area was in need of cleaning all four days we were there. Toilet paper holders were broke and toilet paper on the floor. Everything else was great

The room was very clean. Very walkable for sightseeing and restaurants. We literally parked our car at arrival and did not move it for our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay again.

We had crumbs all over the room, sheets not clean and found a bug in one of the rooms. Front desk didn’t seem to care when we said we didn’t want to stay.

Great location with so much potential, but really run down. The hotel advertises being recently updated but there is a layer of funk to it. The rooms feel just barely clean and the pool and hot tub are gross.

We booked for 4 people (all adults) for two nights, and things could have been much better. For one, our room barely slept 4. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable for the person sleeping above on the sofa. The small configuration of the room made navigating the situation difficult in the middle of the night. We booked it believing to be a suite as advertised. The breakfast selection was very small and as vegetarians we were not satisfied. There was nothing of genuine nutritional value. Overall a very middling experience.

The hotel had water problems on our second evening there , they called to tells us we would no have water until morning, all rooms were full so they couldn’t move us but they said we would be credited one night stay and could use the lobby restroom. The water was not fixed the next morning, the lobby restroom was disgusting from breakfast people using it , the manager was not there when we checked out , the desk girl said we would have to have hotels.com contact the hotel to be reimbursed. Hotels.com was terrific to work with , they called the hotel to get permission to reimburse us but the manager Crystal would not talk to them or reply to their email . Two days later another amazing person from Hotels.com stayed on the phone with me for 45min and repeatedly tried to get them to ok the reimbursement but they kept putting them on hold and never picking up or just hanging up . The manager would not take the call , finally someone gave them approval to reimburse us after 45 minutes of trying, I think they finally figured out the representative from Hotels.com wasn’t going to stop calling. We loved Savannah but would never stay at SpringHill Marriott again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location was perfect, with so much within walking distance, which made exploring easy and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the amenities were well maintained and very nice. The pool and gym were also very nice and added to the overall experience. Our room was spotless and comfortable, which made the stay even better. It was a great first visit to Savannah, and we would highly recommend staying here. Street parking is difficult so plan on using valet which is very convenient

We had a king suite that was next to the pool and pool equipment room. I do not recommend it as it was extremely loud. The pool equipment ran all day and night. Also the internet did not work during our stay and the staff did not seem to care.

Fast Early Check In

The person at the front desk was alone and could have used some help, resulting in a very delayed check-in. That was after my husband waited about 20 minutes to pull into the valet area. The valet could have used some help. Had hoped for housekeeping on day 2 of four. Housekeeping was a no show so we got the front desk to bring us towels and we put the do not disturb sign onto the door.

Great location in Savannah for sightseeing and public parking at nearby garage (Liberty Street, I think). The hotel was very crowded because of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration in town, so elevators, breakfast, etc. were crazy busy.

The hotel was in a great location for everything we did. It was clean, good breakfast options, friendly staff. The public parking garage was right behind the hotel so we did not pay for valet. Unfortunately the mattress wreaked havoc on our backs but not every person can use the same mattress. Overall happy with our choice but our mattress requirements are the only reason we would not be able to stay again.

Shower had hair in it. Sink didn’t drain. Air came on but don’t blow cool air. Breakfast is complimentary and very good. Location ideal.

We asked for an extra blanket and an hour later still no blanket. Then I called and the phone rang at least 20 times with no answer and it was then disconnected. Then went to the front counter to ask for one. She brought one out with a “attitude’” and could have cared less when I explained what had happened. And it is ridiculous to pay $40 per night for parking. And the towels felt like drying with “sand paper”. Way too much $$& for that type of service and “attitude”

My partner and I chose this establishment for Valentine's Day. The location proved excellent, with numerous dining options within walking distance. The staff's demeanor was neutral, neither exceptionally courteous nor unfriendly. Our room was generally clean, aside from the shower's glass door, which required attention. I find it unfavorable to pay for valet services when alternative public parking options are readily available nearby. Due to an early departure, we were unable to sample the breakfast offerings. Nonetheless, I enjoyed our stay overall.

Jerome Taylor was the friendliest receptionist I have ever encountered! What a great welcome! The location is perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. We parked at the parking garage next door, no need to pay for valet parking.

Staff was very courteous upon check in. When we got to our actual room, there was an employee just sitting at the desk with his phone out. He said he was checking the coffee maker at 9:45 pm that was on the other side of the room. The noise level outside is high, which is to be expected from a hotel downtown. We had a sofa bed that had a trundle underneath which was very uncomfortable.

Separate shower and vanity with additional separate toilet room and sink. Great for multiple people needed to get ready. Very comfortable common areas with couches and tables for hanging out or working and nice tvs for catching a ball game. Decent little gym. Pool and Hot tub! Will definitely stay here from now on.

I had a what they call a suite. 2 double and a sofa. Room was big and clean. The bathroom layout was not my preference. They had the toilet in a separate area. The water pressure wasn’t the best either but the bathroom were clean. We also had breakfast included. The eggs were really bad. But overall the hotel was good and good location. Will stay there again if I visit Savannah again.

We booked a room with a king 6 mths ago. When we checked they told us they had to give us 2 queens became they no longer had that king. When we went to our room we discovered it was 2 double beds. We were still charged for the king since it was done thru Hotels.com. very disappointing.

We had a very nice stay. The location is excellent for visiting the historic district of Savannah. The room was very nice and spacious and mostly clean. There was a stray hair stuck on the shower wall, and the mirror looked like it had been cleaned by my kids. The cleaning staff must have been running behind and rushed through this. Besides that, the room was clean. The breakfast bar was well stocked. I would stay here again.

Not enough seating for breakfast, we have to eat our breakfast standing on our foot, parking is too expensive at $40 usd, room was ok but pillows suck they are the ones who completely deform with the use, I will consider staying in some other place even if it’s far from downtown

Pleasant stay for family

We stayed in 406. The bathroom door was very difficult to slide, as if it’s off track or damaged. Room is very small, and squeezing 4 or more in there will be tricky. We only heard our neighbors and their crying baby once or twice. I would recommend for a couple visiting downtown Savannah but probably not for a family or group of 4+

The front desk was great. The breakfast was good and the variety of food was awesome. The only thing I feel that needs to be worked on is the house cleaning. We never had fresh towels or the trash taken out. We were there for 7 night nights and the first day was great but beyond that we had to put our trash out by the door. I would put the dirty towels outside the door but never received new towels. We always had to go to the front desk for new towels. It was annoying.

Front desk check in people were awesome. But housekeeping never came to our room at any point during our stay and the toilet paper was rough and like sandpaper. Also, you could hear discussions from the next rooms quite easily. Disappointing.

No hot water in our shower the first morning. They did switch our room for the second night. The room was not as nice though.

Loved the location. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see. The layout of the room was great also. Iiked having a separation of sitting space from the bedrooms. Staff were very pleasant.

If you want guests to reuse towels there need to be towel hooks in the bathrooms. Incorrectly charged for packaged goods and had to request a credit. Was told they would review cameras which was insulting. Never given a copy of my folio upon checkout. Observed an employee ignore a critical guest issue. Attendant who worked breakfast on 10/31 was terrific.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed, extra pillows and blankets in the closet. Loved the shower being in its own little room separate from the toilet. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Parking, and check in/out was easy. Pool area is really cute, breakfast downstairs was also great. I wish we had stayed longer it was a lovely spot!

The hotel is a good, reasonably priced choice with a good location for walking to tour offices and local attractions. We had a king room with a very comfortable bed. Problems unique to this room: it overlooked the pool and we could hear all the noise from the people there (it closes at 10 p.m.). We had a curtain valence fall down, and the coffee maker and adjoining light didn't work. No biggie for us, as it was no trouble to get coffee in the lobby. The toilet was in a different "half-bath" than the shower, but both were en suite. Breakfast was good and a concierge in the lobby sold attraction tickets. We'd stay here again.

I love staying here! My wife and I come to visit and this is centrally located for walking, touring excursions and dining. The staff is always pleasant and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is great as well. Awesome place to stay for weekend getaways!

The breakfast was ok. Had a few options but same each day. The room was large and i loved separate toilet and shower areas. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Including Marie, the Concierge who was so sweet and helped make sure we made the most of our time in town.

Drawback: missing Nike sweatshirt from room. I would not go back because of that.

The hotel is so convenient to everything you want to do in Savannah. Everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is phenomenal as is most of the staff. Second time we have stayed here. No reason to go anywhere else. Hooray for this hotel. Hooray for Savannah!!!

Great location, very helpful front desk folks. The adjacent bar is exceptional. Unlike some other Savannah hotels, not outdated and not loud either.

The shower floor could have been cleaner. The staff at the desk, concierge, and breakfast area were all very pleasant and helpful!

The place doesn’t even have the ability to watch a football game !!! I know many people don’t care about sports but some do. I traveled all day and wanted a comfortable room to end my day. Instead my only option to watch Sunday night football is to use my phone. This place sucks !!!

The only concern I had with this property was the cost of parking. To pay $40 a night to park seems a little excessive and the only other option you have is to try to find parking in the street and that also cost you.

This hotel has 5-6 parking spaces on the street (need to pay) so keep in mind that you might to park your car somewhere around and walk. The location is good, we walked all the time to the restaurant, parks, waterfront.

Overall the room was clean. The check-in clerk was friendly, however, the room service was poor. We requested towels and another time we requested 2 pillows. No one ever showed up. We called multiple times until finally we were told that "housekeeping" was notified but they weren't responding and they "didn't know what to do". This was after waiting an hour. Also, twice we requested our vehicle using the valet system (as instructed) only to find the valet bewildered that we were there for our vehicle. The whole experience was very disappointing and we will not return, nor will we recommend staying at this location. We have stayed at Springhill Suites before at other locations and never ran into such poor customer service. Parking is $40 a night at this location.

The front desk staff was super helpful at every turn. The Premium King room was large enough for our family of four (our kids shared the couch / trundle bed). The location is a short walk from The Children's Museum, The Grey Restaurant, SCAD Museum of Art and so many other great attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

I did a reservation online for a king size bed upon checking in. They only had double size bed so that was very uncomfortable for my sake. Also, I was awaken at 10:30 in the morning with someone knocking on my door when checkout wasn’t until 12 PM.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Savannah SpringHill Suites. The hotel is modern. clean, and well-kept and our room was excellent. Our Savannah stay was part of a larger trip that included Charleston and Beaufort and it was the highlight of our trip.

Found a dead cockroach in the room, on the floor. Front desk switched our room right away, this was around 9pm. We left to go hang out, got back around 1. I showered and saw another dead cockroach on the bathroom floor as I was getting out the shower. I packed up and left immediately at 2am. Truly disappointed.

This hotel was perfect. Mostly all the employees were very friendly except one bistro staff young lady. The location is awesome, essy access to and from the riverfront and historic sites. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was excellent except when we left at 6 am before breakfast times, nobody was able to give us a paper bag with a croissant or danish and a fruit.

Room entrance door would not open. It was out of alignment. My wife didn’t have enough strength to close the bathroom door. It was warped. The glass shower door wouldn’t close all the way. It was out of line. The first day it rained, water came in from somewhere and flooded about 6’ of carpeting. They issued us a different room. It was perfect. I think we deserve some sort of rebate. This was a terrible inconvenience.

Property was nice and enjoyed our stay. Did not eat at restaurant on site, but did notice outdoor seating was not as pictured on line. Breakfast was a nice bonus to have included with room price. For what we received thought cost was very reasonable. It is walkable to a lot of places & some places were too far for my husband to walk. Very close to old town trolley #1 & 8 which we enjoyed. River street we did walk to but was several blocks away. Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Savannah.

The property definitely needs some updating to its rooms. The shower was dirty. It was extremely hard to get in and out of the room. The door handle was constantly stuck. I had to try three and four times to get in and out!

I booked with 3 other people. we were VERY frustrated that this quality hotel would not sell us beer after 11:00 pm on a Saturday night. VERY disappointing. We dis have a few in our cooler as we watched at least 8 others get turned away as well. The room was great but this turned all of us off completely. I will never come back and will tell all of my friends to avoid this hotel. If they had at least sold beer until 12 maybe than.

Perfect spot to check out Savannah and the room was well laid out, spacious and clean. This is where I will stay next time I visit Savannah.

Great location to everything you can imagine when visiting Savannah. The staff was wonderful and very helpful upon arrival. The parking is a little pricey at $40.00 a day but there is a city parking deck directly behind the hotel. I did have a problem with my room door. It was hard getting in and out of. I had to eventually get moved to another room due to the malfunction but other than that the hotel was wonderful. There was a group that was staying there that was celebrating their 50th class reunion. It was wonderful seeing a group of friends come together after so many years. I would definitely stay at this location again.

I just had one issue - as I was preparing to leave I was turning the AC temperature up and caught a glimpse of mold in the AC vent. Two pretty large spots of mold directly in the vent. So gross.

This was a good location near everything within walking distance as well as near public transportation. The staff was nice and polite. The rooms were in good condition. The only inconvenience I had was my room was on the 6th floor and the elevator was out of service and me and my two daughters had to walk up the stairs. I have breathing issues but I just took my time to the 6th floor. Also, the power went out in which no air or anything was on. There was no way to communicate with the front desk so we had to just wait it out. The breakfast was not so great

Our second time staying here and everything was great! Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Front desk was friendly and helpful and they brought bedding for the pull out trundle couch to your room quickly. The pool is clean, open until 10:00 pm and well maintained. We used the Robinson car garage right around the corner and only paid $14 for a one night stay.

My children and I had a wonderful time here! Rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast bar was great and had lots of options to choose from. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the hotel is located in the perfect spot for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Close to the City Market and River Walk. And just a 25 minute commute to the beach. I will certainly come here again!! Highly recommended! Thank you so much Springhill staff for making me and my families vacation a memorable one.❤️

Staff was friendly but sime had a bit of a snippy attitude. The room was clean and basic. For the price, i expected better. Also, expect to walk several blocks if using trolley. They do not offer pickup service. I will not be staying here again given there are better choices for the same price.

The hotel room was a good size, but it definitely needed to be cleaned better. A lot of things didn’t work properly — even the door to get into the room and the light switch gave me trouble. The shower didn’t seem very clean, and housekeeping didn’t clean the room every day, even when I just asked to exchange towels. On the bright side, they did compensate us by giving us free parking, which was really nice. Overall, the stay was fine, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I really like the views but he indoor pool was great for kids but heavily chlorinated and not adult friendly. Bear broke into our car and created a lot of damage. This caused a delay in our checkout and created major damage to our rental car

The location, cleanliness, conduct of staff, and dining options were great but the parking was AWFUL. $40/nightly for valet parking at the establishment. $20-$30 per entry at nearby public parking. We had to pay $35.99 plus a 15% transaction fee for public parking AND had to walk four blocks from parking back to the hotel. We decided to pay valet parking for our remaining 2 nights however, on the last night, we were told valet was full. We parked on the side and woke up to a parking citation for $20. We've stayed at many great hotels but this was the first that we had to pay to park.
