The design of the hotel is impeccable! The space feels thoughtfully curated, stylish, and uniquely Scottsdale and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. The food was outstanding. Combined with the beautiful setting and first-class service, it created an unforgettable experience. What truly elevates Andaz Scottsdale, however, is the hospitality. The level of service rivals that of the finest luxury hotels and is genuinely off the charts. Every team member made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. We can’t wait to return!

When we requested cushion or umbrella, the staff said yes. However, never happened.

Perfect stay start to finish! We have stayed at many hotels in Scottsdale and I this was definitely one of our favorites! The staff in the restaurant and at the pool were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great and clean and the bed was seriously the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. Loved the pool and we got a great massage at the spa. I think one of the best things about the Andaz is the location. it's literally in the middle of everything and 5 minutes away from the Camelback hiking trail. If you want a smaller hotel, but still want a luxury experience, this is it! We will be returning to the Andaz.

One of my favorite moments was sitting out on the lawn in an Adirondack chair with a book, enjoying the calm surroundings. It felt relaxed and unhurried — a rare find for a resort so conveniently located. The pool had a completely different energy in the best way: good music, a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere, and attentive staff who made the experience feel elevated without being intrusive. Overall, it strikes a thoughtful balance between tranquility and vibrancy. I would absolutely return.

Stayed in a delightful Saarinen cottage - extraordinarily spacious, well appointed and conceived. Very very comfortable and stylish. On-site restaurant Weft and Warp is outstanding. Would have given 5 stars, except cottage carpet had stains and was frayed, stool in (ridiculously large) shower was broken.. and - admittedly, I am coffee snob - the quality of in-room coffee was truly disappointing (seriously, Green Mountain pods and Coffee Mate??). Beautiful place, but attention to detail is not 5-star worthy.

I had 2 portables heathers, and two blankets and was miserable my all stay. Moving was not an option, regardless to me paying extra per nite, as an up grade. Also, the WiFi was not working right . The hotel main pool was under construction the whole week, no heads up communication, building construction behind my room, noise from 7:15 daily, no heads up communications, the gym is missing necessary equipment, no water cups, no hands sanitation, dirty equipment. Customer service is poor and disrespectful from the owners, general manager, and staff. See above …i hated this place.

The hotel has a very pleasant environment and is very quiet at night, so my sleep was not disturbed. The facilities are well equipped, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was really beautiful.

This is the best spot in Scottsdale if you’re looking for a quiet laid back vacation .. the service overall just top notch ! Amazing people ! Mark thebell attendant wassuper helpful and kind and friendly! Front desk staff and restaurant employees are all amazing! Love this resort !

The resort’s design was attractive, and the environment was pleasant for walking around. However, the service and cleanliness were far below expectations for a five-star property. Upon arrival, we were told we would receive a welcome drink, but none was ever offered. The check-in process was confusing, and when we asked the bellman to assist with our luggage, he said he would meet us at our room but never showed up. We ended up driving around twice trying to locate our room on our own. When we finally arrived, there were two large garbage bags placed right in front of the door. We had to call reception to have someone remove the garbage and help with our luggage. The room cleaning was also very poor. We travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, but in this case, the housekeeping staff only made the bed—the bathroom was not cleaned at all. Overall, this property does not live up to its five-star rating and is not worth the price. The first bellman we encountered was not welcoming, though the bellman who assisted us during checkout was very kind and professional.

I loved this resort and would 1000% stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the Scottsdale area! During check-in, we were greeted with a prickly pear beverage and it was DELICIOUS! The staff was very friendly and helpful and there were so many different amenities like laundry services and access to two different pools! WE LOVED OUR STAY!

Our stay at Andaz Scottsdale was spectacular. The staff were incredibly attentive and the amenities were great. Room was also very clean. Would highly recommend!!

The rooms are very comfortable, very clean, and good minibar. Nice private pool in our area of the resort and the main pool is fantastic. Evening movie was cool. Great Gym and spa facilities. The breakfast and evening meals were superb. WiFi was average in our room but it was strong in all other areas of the resort.

It was such a pleasure staying here. No big parking lots. No elevators. No pretensions. Lovely service. The little patio outside my room was the perfect place to sit and read and the full fruited lemon tree shading the spot made me want to come back to see them turn that lovely shade of yellow. I loved the room, the decor and the bathroom was perfect. There wasn't anything I didn't like. This is my new home in Arizona.

Property was very impressive, very clean and very beautiful. Once on the resort you forget you are in Arizona, gorgeous views, great pools, the staff was great. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and did i mention attentive. Very friendly and awesome to talk to. Ask Jon what to drink and eat when you go to the bar by the pool, Talk to the manager Scott for anything you need while your there for your stay.Great dining at the warf and the spa was everything. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our selves and will definatly be back soon.

View, grounds, close proximity to downtown Scottsdale. Key cards didn’t work on the front doors. It was 4:45pm and room service hadn’t clean our rooms, had to call front desk to ask them to come clean the room, then it took them 30mins to come.

The staff, pool, bar and restaurant were amazing! It was refreshing to see customer service again and loved the live music in the bar/restaurant. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

The Andaz in Scottsdale is simply fab! I was blown away by the architecture and design. It literally felt like a desert escape from suburbin/city life back home. From the moment I arrived, the bellman greeted me with a smile and helped me with my luggage. The area at the front desk was open and inviting. I was offered a welcome drink which was a spiked prickly pear-so good! I had arrived very early before check-in time but the front desk rep upgraded my room to a bigger one and allowed me to check-in instantly! This set the tone for the rest of my stay! I was taken to my room via golf cart which was so convenient because it was very hot out. My bungalow was simple in aesthetic but clean. I even had my own little private courtyard with a bench, table, and cacti where I enjoyed my welcome drink. The spa services, waiters/bartenders at the restaurant, and pool attendants were all equally accomodating and friendly. The food and drink offerings were all delish. I would rate my experience there a 9/10 with the 1 point off only because there were little mechanical noises in my room and the retreat pool (there are 3 pools total) was offered to me at check-in but when I got there, my key didn’t work because apparently your room has to be in the retreat area to get in but that was not stated to me. Overall, I’m officially obsessed with Andaz and would love to visit them all!

No HVAC capabilities

I liked the location of the hotel, as well as the setting. It is very scenic. The staff was EXCELLENT!!! They are very attentive, quick to respond, happy to assist. I was underwhelmed by the amount of guest benefits included with my stay. I did not like the fact the hotel was not all-inclusive for its guests staying for a couple of days. We had to pay for everything, including the so called "morning coffee". I do not feel I received the full value for my money. The other thing is, I must have missed on the Andaz website the fact it is a family resort. As we were relaxing by the pool, it felt like it was overruned by kids. I had no idea it was not an "adult only" resort, which was very disappointing since we were on a self-care, wellness journey.

It was a great stay EXCEPT the beds were too hard. If you’re used to a hard bed, then you’ll love everything else—great food, great service, beautiful grounds.

The staff was amazing. Jess at the pool bar, Dom at breakfast, Mark for driving, and the bartender at night. They were so kind.

The AC unit made noise all night long so it was hard to fall asleep. The distance and the food menu changes.

We just spent 3 Days in an onsite event and the property is absolutely stunning! Rooms are good size, staff is super friendly. You can walk to Walgreens, Trader Joe’s and Restaurants. Great location!

What a wonderful experience at the Andaz. This surprised my expectations in almost every way. The property was so well maintained with beautiful rooms. And the room’s HVAC was quiet! I travel often and this is a rare but much-appreciated feature. And the staff at every turn were friendly and helpful and a pleasure to interact with. I kept telling my partner how much I loved the experience. Then we ended the stay with an afternoon at the spa! Perfect getaway! I would come back. I didn’t like that I had to leave.

I like the individual groups of rooms, central area with the main pool and restaurant over it. I loved the spa and even the small size of it. The showers in the room were huge! Very comfortable bed. I didn’t like how food service takes a lot longer at the adult only spa pool.

The Andaz offers beautiful grounds and well-appointed cabana rooms, making for an ideal stay. The staff is attentive and goes out of their way to ensure a great experience. The on-site restaurant has a decent happy hour and serves good pasta dishes. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near a variety of local restaurants. Spa on premises. Daily activity calendar.

Not really worth the money. Didn’t clean our room one day. Pictures give the illusion of seclusion, but it’s not really. I wasn’t aware that they rent out pool areas to people who’s not staying at the location. It made it pretty crowded.

We arrived later in the evening and the staff member at check-in wasn't very friendly. He handed us a key and map and sent us out with our bags into the darkness to find out room on our own. When we got lost, we came back and asked for someone to show us. It didn't feel like a 5 star hotel.

If you use third party booking website, such as this one, and your plans change as mine did while I was out here on business (meetings ended a day early) this resort will not check you out early and credit you back. Literally EVERY other hotel I have ever been to, regardless of how the room was booked, meaning at the non-refundable rate, will honor an early check out with proper notice. It actually even happened to me on this same business trip, while I was at an extremely nice Hilton resort nearby, was accommodating and checked me out early. The manager at that competing resort Knows customer service. While at the ANDAZ, I advised the manager Daniel on Monday that my business was going to wrap up early and I needed to check out a day early, and after many discussions, he denied the option to honor my early check out. Not sure why he is so entitled, but he is on a power trip. Typical modern day customer service by this new younger generation that has zero idea of how good customer service looks. I contacted the Hyatt and they advised it was the hotels discretion. VERY DISAPPOINTED! The rest of the staff was great, pool needed a good cleaning though.

The best hotel in scottsdale

Beautiful property and the customer service team is top tier.

The room needed a good cleaning and was small. The staff was great, but the non-smoking policy was not enforced on the property grounds.

Any issue or question is resolved quickly. Checkin is easy and personal. Rooms are 1-story, quiet and private. Property is exceptionally maintained with beautiful landscape in the shadow of Camelback Mountain. We will be back!!

The property was beautiful! Our room was great and spacious and had everything we needed. We used the spa, the spa pool and the restaurant and loved all three! The only critique was the music at the main pool was soooo loud. It was audible from our room, which was one of the further away rooms, and made going around the area unenjoyable for me.

I would definitely return but there were issues with my room, 32D. Mold in shower and basin, scratched or damaged furniture, walls and baseboards needed painting, etc. The exterior of the property is well looked after but the rooms need more scrutiny and maintenance attention. Very nice Drybar blowdryer provided. That was great. The coffee machines need to be upgraded though. Replace those cheap Braun machines w/ good quality Nespresso.

Nice grounds. Good service. VERY small rooms. $800/night for 420sq ft, no desk to work, and dirty floorboards? No sauna, no whirlpool, and steam room was down for maintenance. Better value elsewhere for sure.

My complaint; simply being purposefully deceived, on the $1,000 a night room…. Reserved room given to another Guest, before arrival. Surmising it suited management, I was an ancillary consideration…. Property beautiful, and you might be next if/when it suits management…. Costly dining and imbibing options…. The grounds stunning…. Oh…. Where was the room? At the driveway where busses and other large commercial vehicles park…. Representation at check in? We upgraded you, there’s more square footage!! Hyperbole maximized….

The resort and staff were wonderful.

First off, the pool area was so crowded and the pool was packed, but, most of all we didn’t swim because it looked disgusting. I know many of the young drinking people were drinking for hours and not getting out to use the bathroom. Half were drunk. Then, in our room, the towels were cheap and all stained. That never happened before. Also, outside the bathroom the courtyard was very unkempt. I will no longer stay there. It will be my last time. Looks nice, but unhealthy conditions. I’m not exaggerating either! Please don’t wast your money.
