Very clean, excellent location, very polite staff. I liked the pool also.

The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Pool area was well maintained and the breakfast bar had plenty to choose from.

Front Staff members. The breakfast attendant needs a little smile when costumers ask for something, like kids were asking for waffle mix and bacon. The indoor A/C is loud which was very disturbing when it turn on and when it’s running. We did not get a good rest because of this.

They didn't have towels by the pool and the pool wasn't cleaned, a lot of bugs in the pool.

It met our expectations and then some. Running water in the bathroom to rid the sewer smell before our arrival.

The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. The bathroom door in our room was not good, it was a sliding door with a flimsy latch which didn’t serve its purpose.

Pool was fantastic for the kids, centrally located to everything in the Phoenix area, and room was large in comparison to other hotels that we have stayed at.

Staff were very helpful and the beds were clean. However, one of our rooms was missing a microwave and the other had a broken microwave. Cleanliness of the rooms were not great as we found a pile of chips behind the bed, the floors were sticky and there were ants in the bathroom. We did use the pool but the hot tubs were not working and you had to pay $5/per person to use the slide. Overall the price was low so you get what you pay for.

Breakfast is good. I'm gluten free so I always bring my own bread. Grateful you always have your own eggs. My first room got loud a couple of hours after checking in. The staff offered to move me and did to a much better room that overlooked the pool. As a long-time Hilton member, this was very appreciated. More GF choices - I have an allergy, it isn't optional for me.

Clean property with easy access to Scottsdale neighborhood

More attentive staff; even if you are the lowest tier member. The fan in the bathroom was loud and made a ticking noise. We wanted snack and there were slim pickings. Should have more available. Overall, Hilton needs to do better.

Great welcome as we checked in and the staff was very friendly and informative on local places that they recommended for dinner. The Village Tavern was excellent! Also, our room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. WiFi was good! The breakfast/coffee in the morning was nice, we appreciated the selection and hours. Also the free parking was a nice bonus. It was a great 2-night accommodation. The pool looked lovely, but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Maybe next time. We also liked the laundry facilities. Carpets seemed a little dirty and the fan in our room was very loud.

The hotel & rooms were clean, the staff were extremely friendly, and the free breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in quite awhile. It isn’t real close to Old Town, about a 10 minute drive but if you have a car that isn’t a big deal. They had a pool and nice outside seating area with a fire pit which was very nice. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

The room had enough space for our family of five. I love the extra sink and counter over the microwave and fridge. The back door out to the pool was amazing!

Wonderful room, breakfast and pool

Cassidy was wonderful when I called on July 4th about my 3 day reservation. I wanted to let her know I would be actually checking in at 8 a.m. and not the prior night at 3 pm. When I arrived I was greeted by Sage, she was wonderful getting me checked in. She was there a lot during my stay and always so nice. The property and rooms are kept so nice. This was my second stay in 2 months and will be going back in August again. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Absolutely nothing.

Had an awesome stay. Our room was perfect, very clean, breakfast was delicious.The Hotel staff very friendly and helpful they went above and beyond to accommodate us! I will definitely be back again. If I could rate higher I would!!

Bathrooms werent cleaned properly and found hair on my floor.

Finding lobby for checkin was chaotic. 5 signs outside saying 1/4 mile that way, or by conference center... I stopped 3 times and walked all over to find where I should check in. Also signs to lazy river sucked. Again, walked all over trying to find it.

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and how updated the property is, it was exactly what I wanted, and I will be back soon! I loved how clean everything and updated the property was. The pool was absolutely beautiful, and the facilities are top-notch. Kudos to the manager of this property, exceptional!

This was one of the nicest hotels we've stay in for the amount of money we spent. It was worth every penny. The stay was extremely helpful, the room was very clean, especially the bathroom. Very nice facility.

Convenient location

Location, breakfast, comfortable beds & pillows. Room we ended with quiet & excellent access to pool. Wanted a quiet room so had paid for upgrade next to pool vs the reserved room. Desk staff’s speech was difficult to understand & written room number looked like a 9 vs 4 so somme confusion on which room tried to access. Required maintenance to fix ac upon arrival, ran out of toilet paper-only had one started roll, only 2 wash cloths to room & toilet had streak on outside. Maintenance staff was helpful & responsive.

They turned almost a negative experience from for a mishap on a third-party reservation. To an amazing hospitality and stay.

Lack of healthy breakfast options

The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything about the property felt inviting and safe. However, one area that stood out — unfortunately, for the wrong reasons — was the breakfast. If you came a little "late" (around 8:00 AM), you would likely find very little left. Items like cream cheese, yogurt, eggs, and even napkins were missing, and what was available was not up to the standard one would expect. The powdered scrambled eggs and overly processed sausage left much to be desired. It was quite disappointing given the otherwise high quality of the hotel. My sincere recommendation to the hotel's management and owners would be either to increase the room rate slightly if a quality breakfast is to be included, or to stop advertising breakfast altogether if they are unable to offer a decent meal. Guests should never be made to feel like second-rate customers, especially in such an otherwise excellent establishment. Despite the breakfast issue, I would still recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a clean, quiet, and very well-located place to stay in n Scottsdale.

We did not receive maid service until the 4th day and only because we complained. Of the 12 days there, we had to request maid service twice and ask for extra towels at the front desk twice. On the positive side the breakfasts were better than most hotels.

This hotel was extremely clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, decent breakfast, nice gym, and close driving to hikes, baseball games, and dining. It also was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The only issue we had was our shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion were all empty

Pool and hot tub closed and will remain closed for month. Terribly unprofessional woman at check in made the experience incredibly uncomfortable. Would never stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here numerous times and it never dissapoints us, very very quiet, clean, excellent staff, very friendly and professional, very very very safe area, close to everything, you will not be dissapointed.

Well located in northern Scottsdale, south of Shea Blvd. Easy parking, checking in worked well. Checking out was odd; I did not receive my receipt, though they had promised me to send it via email. Staff was not really friendly (ok, it was very early in the morning). Room was just fine, bathroom as well. Good night's sleep. Breakfast was very nice.

The desk clerks were very helpful. My room key didn’t work for the pool at first and the desk clerk resolved the problem quickly and efficiently.

Found a bug in bed when covers were turned down. Brought it to housekeeping attention as well as front desk. Manager retuned my call and missed me. I returned call and never was able to get a call back

Only problem was bed covering of winter comforter with no choice of lighter covering, demanding more air conditioning to keep it cool enough to sleep. Bad trend among all hotels. We've stayed here once before and liked it well enough but this last stay makes us think that this will be our last time staying here. The entryway often smelled bad like dirty mop water and the same crumbs covered the floor in the breakfast area for the entire length of our stay. And finally the breakfast is much worse than we remembered. Everything is clearly frozen factory food and kind of gross.

Great area in Scottsdale, located close to shopping and dining options, nice pool and hot tub was great after long hiking days. Breakfast was good with so many options and the coffee available anytime was a nice bonus.

It was filthy. Vent in bathroom was fuzzy, window sill was so dusty I could write my name in it and there was a toe nail clipping between the beds! Ewww

This location has free parking and convenient access to several restaurants, fast food options; highway access to airport, Desert Botanical Gardens, Spring Training in Goodyear, hiking in Mac Dowell and Phoenix Sonoran Preserves. The facility is nicely decorated, with a large common area and one of the better Hampton breakfast buffets we've seen. Breakfast staff were friendly. The pool area and small hot tub are nice, but the patio furniture is in awful shape, with shabby and torn cushions already turned mesh-side up. Huge stainless steel gas grills are available for use. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the King bed was really comfy. At check-in, Desk staff offered to put us down for "daily" housekeeping; however the policy is actually to offer only every other day services - on the first visit they made the bed, but left a bare cardboard spool on the TP spindle (!) and an empty Kleenex box (had to call the Desk and they brought both up); the second time they visited the bed was left unmade! I mean, who would leave any housekeeping tip based on this kind of "service"? All this said, we had a good time here. This place really has potential to be a higher-end 3-star place, but needs some attention to details.

No free WIFI, credit card reader was broken and the coffee and breakfast items were cold. Everything else was OK

The room was ok but we pulled the filter on the heating & cooling unit and it was very dirty. Felt it was very pricey and not worth $330/night by any means.

The cleaning ladies didn’t come our whole stay. I’m used to other hotels where they make more than one attempt after we weren’t ready for them the first time.

I was disappointed in my room support. I didn't have any issue with room cleaning every other day, if it actually would have occured. I ran out of TP and no extra in the room. No one answered the front desk phone when I called so I walked down to the desk to request it myself. I also left a note asking for the shower gel to be filled, it was empty. This did not happen either.

The hotel was just what I usually expect from Hampton - and maybe somewhat nicer than some in terms of amenities and room size. The included breakfast was disappointing in terms of variety and quality. Still acceptable. Location is very good.

Everything was absolutely wonderful at this property. Special praise for the great hot breakfast and long breakfast hours (6am-10am). My only small complaint is that the microwave was dirty from a previous guest. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel - everything went well, but the TV was a little off kilter. Probably the signal rather than the TV unit itself, but it would freeze up for a few seconds every ten or 15 minutes. Of course then you're missing dialog. Not a huge deal, but it was a little irritating.

My family and I enjoyed the pool! It’s toddler friendly and had a great time. Breakfast was delicious with many options. What we didn’t like was, there was a used towel in the bathroom and the extra blanket that was supposed to be in the clear bag, wasn’t. Another thing we didn’t like was, when we were at the pool a lady was FaceTiming a guy and was pointing her camera at other people, including my children. We didn’t like that so we left. I believe they can do better with sanitizing their rooms and possibly have the employees more attentive towards the pool area.

This was the 3rd girls trip to Scottsdale and stay at the Hampton. I have always enjoyed our stays but this year there was an older gentleman at the front desk who was unpleasant and gruff…otherwise everything was good.

We had a great room (at the end of the hall) - spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are great too. Very courteous and helpful front desk persons too.

The carpets need to be deep cleaned throughout the property. No room cleaning done even after requested. While I realize staffing us difficult, don't book so many rooms if you can't clean them. Community area garbages were noticeably full at times.

We liked this place, definitely back again!

The lobby was clean and well kept. It had a friendly atmosphere with sitting areas to gather and a television. There was a free coffee area available steps from check-in. The facility was 3 stories tall so we didn't feel lost in a crowd. The desk clerk was friendly, polite and helpful. We took the elevator up and found our room. It was very clean and it put my mind at ease. I ripped apart the beds and felt it was clear of bed bugs so I brought our stuff up. The beds were comfortable, the room super clean and the toiletries they provided were thoughtful. We overlooked the fire pit and pool area. We were relieved that the lobby closed access from 11 pm-6am unless you had a room key or called the number to gain access. I think this helped to cut down on wandering guests. The pool and firepit closed at 10. The hotel was quiet in our room which helped for sleeping. (I had been concerned since there were so many kids staying there for sports tournaments. Luckily it was a non-issue.) The breakfast buffet was lovely: mini omelets, bacon, french toast sticks, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, english muffins, etc. In the future, I would stay there again if I were back in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I definitely recommend it!

Initially upon arriving the lobby look ok. the room was clean. We were staying for 4 nights. they told me they only clean the room upon request or every 4th day. well for what they charge per/night they should do this every day or every 2days. the second day we were running out of toilet paper and cleanex. went down to the front desk and ask for toilet paper and was told they were OUT. and they were waiting for a delivery. and i said so what r we suppose to do if we run out. I was told they would bring it up asap. I also ask them to clean the room and empty trash that day. on the third morning iI went down to ask for clean towels and was told the were out to go back later and check to see if they had clean ones. So this is the WORSE hotel I have ever stayed at and well NEVER stay her again or at a Hilton hotel again.

Two thinkgs were problematic at this facilty. 1.) When paying more than $300/nite, I expect the room to be serviced each day. When it was not serviced after the first day, I called the desk and they indicated that I need to advise them that I wish service. Next moring I advised the desk and was told I needed to advise them by 8 AM that I wanted the room cleaned and sheets/🚿owels changed. It was 845 AM following breakfast, so not service! They failed to inform of a time deadline. 2.) The towles gernally need to be replaced. All of the towels ar so threadbare that they are saturated before one dries off halfway after a shower. The towels are "Motel 6" quality.

Excellent staff, nice pool area, good breakfast. Beds are comfortable. Shuttle for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. No restaurant , but free coffee & tea all day.

Location was good. Close to restaurants, close to Old Scottsdale, and close to the golf courses we played. Hotel was clean, but could use a little better "deep clean" (Like tile ledges and bases of standing lamps, etc. But beds and baths were clean. Breakfast was typical Hampton breakfast - which is fine for us. Staff was friendly and pleasant. No one cleaned our room for the week we were there. They were supposed to come in once during our stay. I'm sure if we pointed it out they would have done it. But we didn't need it and preferred no one coming in the room anyway. We just put our garbages outside the door in the morning and they emptied them before we came back. Pool was clean and well kept. Love the room with the door out to both the inside hallway or we could use the other door to the outside by the pool - that was nice. Parking was right there outside the door. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a resort-like hotel.....very modern and nicely furnished. However, there was a loud noise outside our room that never stoped during our time in our room......it was very anoying!!!!!!!!Mentioned it @ checkout, but they did nothing to show their regret.

Location and staff were great. On the negative …older facility, thin walls, bathrooms were worn and ugly, house keeping was mediocre. No bar.

We spent 5 days at this property and everything was perfect. One thing not mentioned is that the pool is heated. Great hot tub too! Breakfast are super. Location is great, easy access to everywhere. Lots of good restaurants around and short distance driving to the Old Scottsdale. McKenzie, the front counter lady was amazing and very friendly to us during the entire stay. Highly recommended!

The front desk was very kind and accommodating. Room was great; very clean, lots of floor room, spacious bathroom. Pool is heated so we got to swim for a bit before it got too cold outside. Fantastic breakfast! Lots of options, hot and cold. Awesome mini waffle maker with various topping options.
